Signs: Creflo Dollar Says He Was Wrong About Taxes Church For $65 Million Jet

Creflo Dollar.

Creflo Dollar must be trying to get into heaven, as he ages. He is a well-known, controversial Atlanta-based preacher. Remember, he used to mentor Ma$e as he left Hip-Hop into the church. I always found that interesting, because he reminded me of duty but in a spiritual, Christian way. And anyway, Creflo has repented. In a very recent sermon, he admitted that he mislead his flock.

SAY WORD!

You might remember, he had them buy him a $65 million jet because he “needed” one. I was never feeling that. But his new sermon seems to be against tithing overall. And he said that his teachings previous to now should be eradicated.

A lot of people still aren’t feeling him. That jet was basically 200,000 people donating $300 apiece. Many others have really gone at him and showed him further for his past behavior and using of the spiritual word for his financial gains.

There is another side, Creflo is clearly rich. This message seemingly against tithing has been met with resistance. A lot of pastors are saying do not stop giving, because we are not cold-blooded capitalists like he is.

One pastor named Sir Walter Mack posted the following:

Creflo Dollars is wrong about Tithing. While I am a pastor and understand the importance of giving , not all of us benefit the way Creflo has. Very few pastors have helicopters, airplanes, $400,000 cars, and mansions from preaching. Many pastors I know are not adequately compensated by the church, don’t have health or life insurance, no retirement plan from the ministry, and having to work 2 and 3 jobs while pastoring just to make ends meet. The only way some of us make it, is because of what we believe God has promised, hard work, the blessings of the people. and the blessings that come from us as pastors tithing.

Read the whole thing here.

Another said:

Until #CrefloDollar has a “Zaccheus” spirit which involves giving the people a REFUND for all the tapes, videos, books, and other materials they bought from him, I am not moved by his “new” revelation on tithing that is still flawed.

Anyway, what do you think. I am definitely calling this a sign the world is coming to the end because I’ve always felt this way about tithing, especially for people like myself who are poor.

R. Kelly Supporters Could Retaliate Against Victims Over Upcoming Trial, Feds Say

The government is asking a judge to shield the identities of victims planning to testify in the next trial of R. Kelly.

The disgraced singer is set to go on trial on August 15th in Chicago for luring minors into sex acts and recording them.

United States Attorney John R. Lausch Jr. asked Judge Harry D. Leinenweber to allow the victims to use pseudonyms to protect their identities from becoming public.

The victims were between 13 and 17 when R. Kelly had illegal sexual contact with them.

The pseudonyms will be necessary due to the evidence against R. Kelly, which will include testimony from the mother of a minor and the singer’s long-time abuse of her daughter.

Prosecutors are worried about R. Kelly’s rabid fan base. They believe the victims will be in danger if their identities become public.

“The limited protections requested by the government are necessary and appropriate to protect the Victim-Witnesses’ safety and well-being, avoid harassment by the press and others, prevent undue embarrassment and other adverse consequences, such as retaliation by Kelly supporters, relocation, or loss of employment,” US attorney John R. Lausch Jr explained.

The government is seeking to prevent the disclosure of the names, addresses, names of family members, and places of employment of the victims who will take the stand next month.

Prosecutors are taking no chances with the witnesses due to the dangers they face.

Last week, federal authorities charged a man named Christopher Gunn, 39, for threatening the US attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York.

Gunn urged R. Kelly’s supporters to storm the federal building, saying, if “Kellz goes down, everybody’s going down.”

In November of 2021, a man named Michael Williams was sentenced to 8 years in prison for trying to intimidate a witness on behalf of R. Kelly.

Williams, who is from Georgia, went to Florida, where victim Azriel Clary lived and set her father’s SUV on fire.

Last week, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking.

The singer was placed on suicide watch at the MDC lockup in Brooklyn, setting another lawsuit.

His lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, claimed officials are punishing R. Kelly unnecessarily because he is a high-profile inmate.

In their response, the government denied the allegations and claimed it was standard procedure to put a prisoner on suicide watch after being sentenced for such heinous crimes.

Earlier today (July 5th), prison officials removed R. Kelly from suicide watch.

Will Lil Uzi Vert Get Sued After Hurling Phone In Crowd?

Lil Uzi Vert.

Lil Uzi Vert headline the UK Wireless Festival and I think he may have taken that theme and gone too far. The concert/festival looked pretty lit. On Sunday, July 3, right before the incredible party in The Hamptons, there were a series of videos and pictures posted of the rapper.

And what it showed was him throwing a cell phone, initially thought to be his own cell phone, into the crowd full blast. As you know, fans are fanatical and if you throw a piece of yourself into the audience, they are going to respond with the appropriate mania.

So, Lil Uzi Vert is no exception. After the phone launched like a rocket, you see a number of people trying to get it. Some of that aftermath included a woman with a bloody head. We can’t see if the cell phone hit her in the head or if, perhaps another fan hit her in the head but she claims it was the phone.

But, another person claims the phone hit them. This ain’t the grassy knoll now! But we don’t know! Maybe it ricocheted! Some people are probably trying to get paid. So, what had happened was: it was not Uzi’s phone. Fans were putting their phone on the stage, seemingly hoping he would create some content on it.

One of the people claiming to get hit, Drilla G, explained what happened:

“I am the chick that got her head smashed in by the phone. Yes, there was some damage caused, but the guy got his phone back and everything is being dealt with.”

“And even if I did [move] it would have hit someone either way, [the phone] wouldn’t hit [the ground] first.”

People down with Uzi have already baked in an excuse for this mess, probably in an attempt to stave off lawsuits.

The statement reads: “During Uzi’s set at Wireless Fest, fans threw multiple cellphones onto the stage and inadvertently struck him. He merely attempted to clear the phones from the stage, avoid slipping and safely continue his performance — he never intentionally directed it at a specific individual.”

How The Wendy Show People Got The Last Laugh On Wendy – YouTube, IG, Website GONE!

There’s a ton of money to be made on the internet, especially Youtube. And there’s people that don’t care about that. Whatever Wendy Williams did, she upset somebody. As her show was being canceled, they deleted her whole YouTube page! The whole thing is gone! I would not be looking for that anyway, but some would. Also, it would keep her likeness out there and possibly popping. Or allow people to do stuff like repost her classic moments on social media. The website has disappeared too. And the Instagram. GONE!

So, what is going on? Was this a spiteful move? Did they hate Wendy’s so much they they needed to erase her from history? A cold move, indeed!

Wendy is supposed to be launching a podcast soon. I wonder how that will work and if it will be effective in bringing her back to the front. I am not sure, but it may not work. If these forces are against her, who can be for her?

There’s a weird undercurrent that has said that Cardi B has something to do with this. But I find that quite ridiculous. But the internets don’t stop.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PMwOx8xhvE

Her brother Tommy has stated in a new interview that Wendy Williams of old is gone. He says it is overall sad and he is totally heartbroken. He says he has tried to maintain his composure and quiet in the wake of things. He also let’s her ex-husband Kevin off the hook, stating he is not the reason for her current woes. He does not believe anything is wrong, but clearly her foot looks crazy.

Above all, she is in denial, he says.
OAN: there’s a new Cardi B interview with Angela Yee that just hit.

Jay-Z, Meek, Yo Gotti, Lil Uzi And A Gang Of Rappers Attend White Party

What’s so special about White Parties? I am just asking the question. Michael Rubin, the billionaire that helped Meek Mill a lot, had a massive party in the Hamptons for The 4th of July. I mean everybody was there. Here’s a partial list of the notables. Drake, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, Travis Scott, Jay-Z, Fat Joe, Lil Durk, Yo Gotti, Meek Mill, 21 Savage and that’s just the men. Beyonce was there too! Kendall Jenner, James Harden, Robert Kraft, Joel Embiid, Ryan Seacrest, Draymond Green and several others too. It was pretty jarring to see since I thought the Hamptons was played out. I was wrong.

There were several performances as well.

Check this video for that:

I find it interesting that “high society” is really changing colors. I find that pretty cool, even though there still seem to be a growing number of have-nots. Could be me.

You might remember Michael Rubin as the dude that Meek lost a bet to and had to do this:

Letter From Martin Luther King Debating Use Of The “N Word” Up For Sale

A letter of historical import from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. discussing the use of the “n word” is up for sale.

The document was reportedly kept in a private collection until recently but is now for sale via Moments In Time. While the site states the price is available on request, TMZ reports the letter from Dr. Martin Luther King has a price tag of $95,000.

The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King was corresponding with William A. Bennett, addressing points raised in their previous exchange regarding “racial appellations” – or the terms used to describe Black Americans.

He agreed with Bennet that the words “’dark skinned American’ constitute a vivid depiction of both citizenship and race.” Dr King stated this is in stark contrast to the “n word” and its connotations.

“The word ‘n#####,’” he explained, “carries with it a meaning deeply rooted in the debilitating racist caste ordering of our society’s slavery epoch and segregation era.”

Dr. King continued, “’Dark skinned American’ often finds a way into my speeches and writings.” He also noted he was encouraged to see so many others doing the same. He explained use of the term or its equivalents reflects “both our great heritage and our devotion to a brand of Americanism of the highest order.”

The site also offers other original manuscripts for sale. These include other writings of Dr. King alongside love notes from Tupac and letters from civil rights activist Rosa Parks.

More than half a century after Dr. Martin Luther King’s letter, the debate surrounding the use of the word continues. Read the letter in full below.

“Moving Forward” is the title of their upcoming song, and with that, Noirillusions hopes to set a firm foot in the music world after the highly successful “Glock Box”.

Beautiful Music Touches You Eternally – Marching On Song’s James BLK Explains

Music is the glue that holds the world together. The art that has a place in everyone’s heart, music is universal. Good music has the power to nourish the soul and add beauty to life. And as makers of this elixir, musicians are prized gems of the human race.

Just like people, songs have different colors and cultures. Everyone might resonate with different genres. But good music transcends these boundaries. As Marching On hitmaker James BLK can attest, good music speaks straight to the soul. And it does so because it carries the soul of the artist within the melody.

James BLK’s journey with music is a very personal one. James BLK had a strong affinity for music since childhood. James BLK loved listening to songs by the greats like Sinatra, Presley, Tupac, and Fitgerald and often found solace in their tunes. As time went by, James BLK began writing her own music, inspired by the music of her childhood and her real-life experiences.

Over the years, James BLK honed his skills, collaborating with other musicians, and listening to more songs to widen her horizons. Thus was born Marching On, which released and took the world by storm. The honesty in James BLK’s songwriting struck a chord with people who made the song their own and took both the song and the artist to new heights.

So what is good music, according to James BLK? The music that connects people is beautiful. The music that comforts a heart is beautiful. And above all, the music that stays with you long after the song ends is beautiful music, according to James BLK. “Beautiful music touches you eternally.” “It goes beyond the quantifiers of good and bad and into the realm of beauty fostered by art. Music is subjective. So if you find a song that touches you, keep it as a good song!”

And indeed, there is truth to James BLK’s words. And with musicians like her on the stage, we’re sure we’ll always have melodies that touch us eternally to look forward to.

Lil Uzi Vert Responds To Woman’s Claims Phone He Threw At Wireless Festival Left Her With Bloody Injury

Lil Uzi Vert has been accused of injuring a woman after hurling a phone into the crowd during his headlining performance at the U.K.’s Wireless Festival this weekend.

A festival goer took to TikTok on Sunday claiming the phone struck her in the head, leaving her with a bloodied wound. She shared a series of videos from the festival showing Lil Uzi hyping the crowd. He then bends down to pick up a phone before throwing it high in the air at high speed.

The other side of the split-screen displays pictures of the woman’s bloodied head. She also shares a clip of her being escorted through the crowd by security.  @ccornonmycob (aka Drilla G) wrote, “The aftermath of being hit with that phone Uzi chucked.”

In another clip, she explains that she couldn’t dodge the phone due to the densely packed crowd.

“There is a video of Lil Uzi Vert throwing a phone into the Wireless crowd 2022 on Friday,” she began. “I am sadly that chick that got their head smashed in by the phone. There was someone else but I don’t want to mention him in case it is not permitted. But yes there was some damage caused but the guy got his phone back and everything is being dealt with.”

Lil Uzi Responds

However, Lil Uzi Vert didn’t “intentionally” target anyone specific during the incident, a source close to the rapper confirmed to XXL

“During Uzi’s set at Wireless Fest, fans threw multiple cellphones onto the stage and inadvertently struck him. He merely attempted to clear the phones from the stage, avoid slipping and safely continue his performance,”

They added, “He never intentionally directed it at a specific individual.”

Macy Gray Labeled Transphobic After Claiming Surgery “Doesn’t Make You A Woman”

Macy Gray began trending on social media on Monday evening (Jul. 4) after sharing her thoughts on trans women during an appearance on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored.

“Just because you go change your parts, doesn’t make you a woman, sorry,” Macy Gray stated. “I know that for a fact.”

Macy Gray On Gender Inclusive Pronouns

The singer also defined a woman as “a human being with boobs” and “a v#####.” She also discussed the use of gender inclusive pronouns.

“If you want me to call you a her I will, because that’s what you want,” Macy Gray stated. “But that doesn’t make you a woman, just because I call you a her and you got surgery.”

Social media was awash with conflicting opinions, some sharing her views while others called her transphobic and a TERF – trans-exclusionary radical feminist.

“Macy Gray is trending,” Morgan tweeted, shortly after the episode began to air. “And our interview’s only just started,” he added before telling his followers to tune in, “to see what all the fuss is about.”

Macy Gray took to Twitter to clarify her comments before the episode could even air.

“There is no bigger admirer of lgbt community than your truly,” she explained. “it takes real balls to be honest about who you are.”

She also said, “‘woman’ is a title that you earn and become. just like ‘man.’ there are plenty of females who aren’t women yet and every girl gets that.”

The “I Try” singer further confirmed that she’s speaking from personal experience and was referring to all women in general and not trans women specifically.

“i wasn’t defining trans women. just women,” she said in response to a comment which was since been deleted. “Because i know what it means to be one. i don’t know what it means to be a trans woman and never said i did. but that goes both ways.”

Highland Park Mass Shooting Suspect Taken Into Custody; An Aspiring Rapper With History Of Glorifying Mass Murder

Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III has been taken into custody in connection with the deadly July Fourth parade Highland Park mass shooting that killed six people and injured 38 others in suburban Chicago.

Cops apprehended him on Monday shortly before 7 p.m. local time following a short pursuit. Authorities have yet to announce charges, but police identified Crimo as a “person of interest.”

“This individual is believed to have been responsible for what happened,” said Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli as per USA Today. Covelli confirmed a “significant amount of digital evidence” helped lead authorities to Crimo.

Further details have emerged about Crimo, an aspiring rapper who went by the name “Awake.” According to NBC, his numerous social media profiles include posts glorifying mass shootings and public executions.

Highland Park Mass Shooting Suspect Had A History of Glorifying Mass Murder

His recent music videos include scenes of mass murder, with one reportedly depicting him getting shot by police after committing mass murder at a school. The YouTube channel is now inaccessible.

He was reportedly well known on Discord, where he had his own server. The most recent post in March was a tribute to Budd Dwyer, the Pennsylvania state treasurer who shot and killed himself on live television in the late 1980s. The caption reads, “I wish politicians still gave speeches like this.”

Reports state Crimo would regularly post about suicide, death, and violent images of murder, most recently sharing a video of a beheading.

He took an interest in Former President Donald Trump. In January 2021, he shared a video that he apparently recorded from a pro-Trump protest. Another post, captioned with the word “spam,” shows Crimo draped in a Trump flag.

A former Highland Park High School classmate of Crimo’s said he used to rap when they were in school, and he was releasing music back then. “He always seemed a little off,” said Mark Heymann, 22. “but I can’t describe it much beyond that.”

Reports suggest he came from a family who kept to themselves. His father, who reportedly owned convenience stores, ran for mayor of Highland Park in 2019 but did not win. A neighbor recalled a conversation with him in which he described his son as having “emotional issues.”

This story is developing.

Puablo15 Says the Genre of “Sh** Talkin” & “Game Spittin” Doesn’t Get its Proper Respect

And I agree This Type of hip-hop & rap is often frowned upon by traditional lyricists for being unorthodox and usually off-beat. Legendary Rappers like E-40 coming from a hustler’s perspective & Suga Free coming from a Mack’s-pimp perspective are considered the originators & God Fathers of the risky but relatable style. E-40 Dealt with so much backlash in the 1990’s for off-beat flow that is used mainly used today by Oakland rappers like Allblack, and Puablo15 & Detroit/Michigan Rappers Rio Da Yung Og & Sada Baby Ect.

The Legendary Biggie Smalls was on an interview dissing the Style of E-40 saying he was wack. E-40 shed even more light on the incident during an interview with Complex.com this week. He again stated that he took no part in the fake concert that was booked for Biggie in Sacramento and also shared the details of a phone call he received while Biggie was in town. According to E-40, he received a phone call late at night from a man claiming to be in the same area as Biggie. The man then asked E-40 if he wanted him to do anything to the rapper. When asked to rank a handful of West Coast artists on a scale from one to 10, E-40 says Biggie gave him a zero.

“But a concert was booked that I didn’t book,” E-40 said. “And I wanna tell y’all this. I got a call like 11 at night. ‘40, I got this n#### Biggie Smalls down here woo wopty woo. What do you want me to do with him?’ You gotta understand. Just being upset cause somebody said they ain’t f##### with your music that ain’t enough to try to do somebody in. That’s not cool. That’s some b#### s###. That ain’t cool. I got on the phone with a dude.

I was like ‘I didn’t know you felt like that’…Anyway, to make a long story short, I got him home safe. Got him back to the hotel safe. I didn’t book that concert. That’s the main thing I want to say. But the s### that went down as far as my folks on his head, they were. And I called it off.” E-40 says his cordial interaction with Biggie as a result of the incident led to the rapper giving him a shout-out in the album notes for Life After Death. I pray forward to seeing a game spittin type of Artist win a Grammy or at least get lyricist of the year.

BBC Confirms They Received Six Complaints About Tim Westwood

The BBC revealed it received complaints against Tim Westwood – including one that was referred to the police – despite BBC director-general Tim Davie confirming there was “no evidence of complaints,” just months ago.

The British Hip-Hop DJ hosted shows on BBC radio between 1994 and 2013. The Guardian and BBC conducted a joint investigation into Westwood. They found seven Black women who alleged incidents of sexual misconduct against the DJ between 1994 and 2013. They accused him of abusing his position and power in the industry to abuse them. The claims were brought to light in The Guardian’s report and the BBC Three documentary, Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power.

The former BBC DJ denies all charges. He has stepped down from his Capital Xtra radio show until further notice.

BBC Makes U-Turn On Tim Westwood Complaints

After The Guardian published its report, Davie stated, “we looked at our records and we’ve seen no evidence of complaints.”

However, the BBC has now confirmed it received a total of six complaints relating to the period the DJ worked at the BBC. They are being assessed as part of an ongoing review into the nearly two decades he worked with the corporation. The BBC also confirmed Tim Westwood was spoken to in relation to one of these matters while another was referred to the police.

The BBC did not disclose if the complaints were upheld but confirmed they related to allegations of bullying and sexual misconduct. Some of these relate to Westwood’s actions outside the BBC.

A BBC spokesperson said the internal inquiry was ongoing. The new information emerged following a challenge by BBC News regarding the corporation’s handling of an initial Freedom of Information Act request last year.

“As we have said, if people have things that they want to raise with the BBC, then they should do so. People have now done so and we will continue to investigate. We also said that we would dig into what happened in the past. We are doing that with great care. All of that work hasn’t concluded and is ongoing. We said we would take this seriously, and we are. When that work has concluded, we will say more.”

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Mobbed By Fans After Making Surprise Appearance At London Barbershop

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky left residents of a south London community stunned when the rapper pulled up to a local barbershop for a trim ahead of his performance at the city’s Wireless Festival.

Clips of the outing circulated on social media showing a sea of fans surrounding the barbers. It is said to be the couple’s first public appearance since the birth of their son in May.

Rihanna donned a suitably fabulous bomber jacket adorned with feathers and matching sunglasses as she smiled and talked with fans, taking selfies while A$AP got his haircut.

Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Leave Barbershop Under Police Escort

The street was so crowded that the famous couple required assistance from the Met Police to exit the building.

The owner detailed the encounter with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky during an interview with BBC 1Xtra. He recalled meeting the rapper first before he went to pick up Riri.

He offered the couple some Jamaican rum while Rocky got his haircut. Nigel the Barber described the superstar songstress as a “beautiful girl, she’s so nice. Humble, down-to-earth.”

As for the trim, once assured his hairline would remain intact, the “Praise the Lord” hitmaker was satisfied. “When I finished, he loved it,” the barber said proudly.

The Bajan native looked the picture of health and happiness as she watched her man perform later that day at Wireless Festival.

Rihanna And A$AP Rocky have maintained a low profile since the birth of their first child. There has been no formal announcement regarding their child’s birth, and the couple has yet to reveal their son’s name.

Shortly before the birth of their child, A$AP Rocky shared a new single, “D.A.B.” (DAT$ MAH B!*$H) an ode to Rihanna. Check out the video below.

Method Man Apologizes To Destiny’s Child After 20 Years: “Y’all Did Not Deserve That”

Method Man recently dropped by Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast to share some of the stories from his illustrious career.

Alongside discussions about how he felt surrounding his “sex symbol” status, the Wu-Tang Clan member also detailed an encounter with Destiny’s Child, which he now sincerely regrets. He recalled an incident that occurred during Janet Jackson’s 2001 MTV Icon special. Meth felt so badly about the way he treated Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams that he issued them a public apology.

Method Man began by explaining that he was going through a period of low self-esteem. “I didn’t like myself so I didn’t like anybody f###### else,” he began. “So that meant anything that would have come in my circumference at that point in time was gonna get it.”

He recalled first meeting the original Destiny’s Child lineup at the U.K.’s MOBO Awards in 1999. “I always kept that in my head, like these are some decent young ladies,” said Method Man.

Method Man Details Where It All Went Wrong With Destiny’s Child

However, two years later, he wrongly assumed the group ignored him at Janet Jackson’s MTV Icon. Accordingly, he returned the supposed disrespect. He described being in the VIP area surrounded by other celebrities after coming off stage. He spotted Destiny’s Child and went to greet them.

“Now, this is still me in my low self-esteem era. But I’m thinking like, comfort zone here, I’m gonna say ‘What’s up’ to the girls. I love them, I’m just gonna say ‘Hi.’ I go over to say ‘Hi’ to them and when I said ‘Hi,’ they didn’t even turn around and acknowledge me.”

He continued, “Now, my ass, in my head, with my low self-esteem is like, ‘They just s###### on me.’ When in fact, they didn’t even hear me. It was so loud in that muthafucka. That’s the excuse that I’m giving right now – they didn’t even f###### hear me. Afterward, Rockwilder, he was gonna do the ‘Bootylicious’ song for them. He comes over, he’s talking to them, he’s like, ‘Oh, you know Red and Meth?’ And they put their hands out to shake, and I kept my hand here and was like, ‘Go ‘head with that Hollywood s###.’”

The exchange remained with Method Man, and he still regrets his actions two decades later.

“To this day, that s### hurt my heart because neither Kelly, Beyoncé or Michelle ever did any-f######-thing to me,” he admitted. “But me being so miserable and in that f###### moment, I felt like they wasn’t treating me the way I should have been treated. Who am I to think that about these girls? They’re here to promote themselves and break records and things of that nature. And it was not about me, it was about Janet-f######-Jackson. And to this day, man, I don’t think I’ve ever apologized for that.”

He turned to speak directly into the camera, adding, “I apologize to Beyoncé, I apologize to Kelly Rowland and Michelle – y’all did not deserve that, at all.” Check out the clip above and the episode below.

Killer Mike Taps Young Thug & Dave Chappelle In Call To “Protect Black Art” On New Song “Run”

Killer Mike marked Independence Day with a comeback single featuring a verse from Young Thug, his first solo song in ten years since 2012’s R.A.P. Music.

The Run the Jewels rapper tapped No I.D. to produce “Run,” which also features an introductory monologue by Dave Chappelle. The visuals depict a fight between Black people and the fascists attempting to return the South to the Confederacy. Check it out below.

Killer Mike also sends an important message in the song’s visuals. While Thugger is rapping, a soldier waves a flag featuring the words “Free Thug, Protect Black Art, Free Gunna.” Elsewhere in the video, another soldier displays an armband that reads “Free YSL.”

Young Thug and Gunna are currently behind bars awaiting trial after being arrested in a 28-person RICO indictment. Killer Mike has condemned prosecutors’ use of their rap lyrics against them in court.

Kevin Liles recently discussed the importance of protecting Black art and his staunch defense of Young Thug during a conversation with AllHipHop. Watch it below.

As reported by AllHipHop, Killer Mike called for empathy for Young Thug, who hails from the same city of Atlanta as the rapper and activist. He explained that Thug “managed to escape the streets using rap lyrics, and he’s managed to help people change their lives.”

He added, “These lyrics are no more than braggadocio rap lyrics. It is no more than Killer Mike saying I’m a killer on the mic.”

Drake Joins Backstreet Boys In Toronto To Perform “One Of The Greatest Songs Of All Time”

Drake got to live out his childhood dreams and sing “one of the greatest songs in the world,” performing “I Want It That Way” live on stage at home in Toronto as an honorary sixth member of Backstreet Boys.

The 6 God doesn’t do anything by halves. While most people only get to belt out the late 90s pop hit for a spot of karaoke, this weekend (Jul. 2), Drake joined the band for their set at the Budweiser Stage. Before getting into his performance, he explained why Backstreet Boys’ 1999 love song holds a special place in his heart.

Drake Recalls A Special Backstreet Boys Memory

“At 13 years old, I had a bar mitzvah, and at my bar mitzvah, for the first time in my life, this girl I was in love with came up to me and one of the greatest songs in the world was playing, and she asked me if I would dance with her,” Drake revealed. “And it was the first time I ever felt acknowledged, and it was the first time I ever felt like I had a shot at being cool.”

Drake continued calling the track “one of the greatest songs of all time,” before he took a walk down memory lane. “If she can see me now,” Drake added.

Although Drizzy has recently been in his dance music bag, the rapper loves to flex his singing chops. He did just that, integrating his own iconic hit “Hold On, We’re Going Home” into the collaborative effort. Check out Drake singing with Backstreet Boys below.

However, Drake wasn’t done with the joint performances. On Sunday, he linked with Lil Baby and a host of other rappers at Michael Rubin’s All White of 4th July party. The pair entertained the star-studded crowd with their collab “Yes Indeed.”

Jamie Foxx “Back In Action,” And Reuniting With Cameron Diaz On The Big Screen

Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement to star alongside Jamie Foxx in the aptly-titled Netflix movie “Back in Action.”

Diaz, who had a baby with her husband Benji Madden in 2019, announced her retirement from acting in 2018 and has not appeared onscreen since starring with Foxx in the “Annie” remake in 2014.

Jamie Foxx announced Diaz’s comeback news by posting a voice conversation between them and American football star Tom Brady on Twitter.

“Cameron, I hope you aren’t mad I recorded this, but no turning back now,” he captioned the post. “Had to call in the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) to bring back another GOAT.”

“I’m like pacing the room,” she added. “I feel excited, but I don’t know how to do this, you know?”

Foxx responded by introducing Brady, saying, “I understand. Listen, I got somebody on the other line that can help you with this.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star, who called off his own retirement earlier this year, interjected: “I was talking to Jamie, and he said you need a few tips on how to un-retire. I’m relatively successful at un-retiring.”

Jamie Foxx then confirmed the news by adding, “@CameronDiaz and I are BACK IN ACTION – our new movie with @NetflixFilm. Production starting later this year!!”

In addition to “Annie,” the duo also starred together in the American football movie “Any Given Sunday.”

Netflix chiefs are yet to announce a release date and plot for the new film – but confirmed the news by retweeting Foxx’s announcement. The action-comedy will be directed by “Horrible Bosses” filmmaker Seth Gordon from a script he co-wrote with Brendan O’Brien.

Fake Drake Booted Off IG For Impersonating Drake

We finally got your a$$! you thought you were gonna sit around for the rest of your life and grow old emulating Drake. Well, that’s not the way it goes.

Wasn’t good enough to make $10,000 a show. It wasn’t enough for you to get thousands of thousands of people following you on social media. You had to go and challenge Drake to a fight! Duh! Look at you now.

Izzy Drake decided to go all out and challenged Drizzy The God to a celebrity boxing match. He said IF Drake beats him, he will stop impersonating him.

Huh? - Reaction GIFs

According to reports Fake Drake, who doesn’t really even look like Drake except for a haircut and light skin, has been banished from IG for impersonating the famous Toronto rapper. Not quite sure exactly where the report came from, but it seems to be a real thing, with several official news sites reporting on it.

It seems as though he was trying to turn a corner saying that he would change his name to just Izzy. Well, he might be able to do that now starting from scratch.

No word on what the real Drake thinks about this.

I wonder if Drake or one of his henchmen put in a word to get him booted? I bet that’s easy. Drake got a gazillion followers on IG…that’s MONEY. Even IG don’t wanna lose that cake.

By the way, Fake Drake just dropped a new song with the Fake Lil Durk. What is the world coming to?

Hey Drake, we don’t want no smoke.
