One of the most rewarding feelings in the world for music fans is falling in love with a song after your playlist is complete. This is after a random song is played. Keep a watch out for this young, emerging singer who has captured the hearts of millions with his innovative songwriting and brilliant musical touch.

He is known as STADACKSZ, and he wants to transform the music industry. He is a songwriter, influencer, and city entrepreneur from New York who chose to make music as his only career.

Even if more than a million people have viewed his music, it’s more than just statistics for him. It’s the chance he has to pursue his passion for music. One of his greatest accomplishments is this.

He has come a long way from participating in rap fights in New York to recording one of his smash tunes, “Regular.” The song that made Darry William famous and gave him the nickname “STADACKSZ” around the world. RAP Act Introduced In Congress To Ban Lyrics As Evidence In Court Proceedings

A new bill has been introduced to protect artists from the use of their lyrics against them in court, an issue that increasingly affects Hip-Hop artists.  

The bill, which is the first of its kind at the federal level, was introduced on Wednesday (Jul. 27) in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressmen Hank Johnson (GA-04) and Jamaal Bowman (NY-16). Titled the Restoring Artistic Protection Act (RAP Act), the bill would impact the Federal Rules of Evidence by adding a presumption “that would limit the admissibility of evidence of an artist’s creative or artistic expression against that artist in court.” 

Prosecutors cited their lyrics in the RICO indictment against YSL rapper Young Thug and Gunna. The indictment includes Nine Young Thug songs, with prosecutors using them to portray him as a violent gang figure. 

Support For The Rap Act

Following Wednesday’s announcement, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr. and Rico Love, chair of the Recording Academy Black Music Collective, remarked:  

“Today’s introduction of the RAP Act in the House of Representatives is a crucial step forward in the ongoing battle to stop the weaponization of creative expression as a prosecution tactic. The bias against rap music has been present in our judicial system for far too long, and it’s time we put an end to this unconstitutional practice. We extend our gratitude to Representatives Hank Johnson (D-GA) and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) for their leadership on this issue, and we will continue to work closely with them to advance the protections in this bill that ensure all artists can create freely without fear of their work being criminalized.”

“Rap, hip-hop and every lyrical musical piece is a beautiful form of art and expression that must be protected,” Congressman Bowman  added, as per Variety. “I am proud to introduce the RAP Act alongside Rep. Hank Johnson. Our judicial system disparately criminalizes Black and brown lives, including Black and brown creativity.  

He then gave the example of 17-year-old Tommy Munsdwell, currently serving life behind bars. His conviction heavily relied upon his song lyrics. “He is not an outlier. Evidence shows when juries believe lyrics to be rap lyrics, there’s a tendency to presume it’s a confession, whereas lyrics for other genres of music are understood to be art, not factual reporting,” Congressman Bowman continued. “This act would ensure that our evidentiary standards protect the First Amendment right to freedom of expression. We cannot imprison our talented artists for expressing their experiences nor will we let their creativity be suppressed.”

R. Kelly’s Sisters Claim Singer Is A Victim Of Racial Injustice

R. Kelly’s three sisters, Cassandra, Theresa, and Lisa Kelly, have given a new interview claiming their brother is “the only victim” in the case while maintaining that he’s been harshly sentenced due to a racist justice system.  

Furthermore, the U.K. news show Good Morning Britain reports that R. Kelly “has been writing and sending letters from his prison cell, claiming that his 30-year sentence was because of the color of his skin.” 

His sisters support his claims, with Cassandra stating, “African Americans have always been treated unfairly. So I think that that has a lot to do with it as well as other factors.” 

Lisa added, “just because he’s been found guilty, doesn’t mean he’s guilty.” She then denied the victim’s allegation of being held hostage, stating, “these females are treated like queens.”  

She also denied R. Kelly had been with underage girls. “I can say he may have been with younger women but as far as underage girls, no. And I stress girls—underage girls, who has seen that?” 

When the interviewer pointed out that it was proven in court that R. Kelly married Aaliyah when she was just 15 the sisters denied it. “I don’t know that he married Aaliyah,” Lisa said before refusing to talk about it any further.  

His Sisters Claim R. Kelly Is The Victim

When asked about the victims’ claims, Lisa again defended her brother and claimed he is the victim in the situation. “I’m not gonna acknowledge something that I don’t have the proof of. If there is a victim, I’ll acknowledge. But from what I’ve seen in court and from what I’ve studied and from what I’ve read the only victim I see that’s been stolen from, lied on is Robert. No one is talking about the money that was being extorted from Robert. No one is talking about what was stolen from him…he’s not a monster, he’s not a pedophile, he was just taken advantage of.”

Last month, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years behind bars after being found guilty of child trafficking. He was recently moved to a Chicago prison to face trial in August on multiple counts of child pornography and child sex trafficking.

JayDaYoungan  Confirmed Dead In Shooting

JayDaYoungan was murdered Thursday night, police sources have confirmed.

Bogalusa Police confirmed that the rapper died from gunfire earlier in the evening. His father Kenyatta Scott Sr. was also shot, but survived. Scott is in stable condition at the time of this writing.

“This is an update to the press release of a shooting earlier tonight. We can now identify the victims as Javorius Scott, A.K.A.JayDaYoungan and close family member Kenyatta Scott Sr. We can also confirm that Javorius Scott has died as a result of his injuries. Kenyatta Scott Sr. has been transported to another facility and we have been told he is in stable condition. Detectives are currently conducting interviews and working leads. Further information will follow as it becomes available.”

The death of the Louisiana rapper caused a waved of condolences, grief and concern on social media platforms. Earlier Thursday, Kenya Janell, the rapper’s sister contradicted the death. She said, “AINT NOBODY F**KING DEAD STOP DICK EATING AND GO READ BOOK. I hate you internet freak ni##as and hoes, stop tryna confirm sh#t y’all don’t f##king know bullsh#t a####.”

The police gave additional details on the tragic crime scene.

“While working a chaotic scene at the hospital, and working the crime scene on Superior Avenue, another shooting took place in the 800 block of Marshall Richardson Road shortly after 7:00 pm. In that case a vehicle was shot, possibly related to the first shooting. The occupants were not hit. Detectives are also actively working that crime scene.

The also asked for help from anybody that may have seen anything.

“This is a very fluid situation and the information we can release is limited at this time,” the statement concluded. “Our Officers are working diligently to identify the subjects responsible for these crimes. We have several outside agencies assisting at this time.” 

JayDaYoungan became prominent from his popular songs “23 Island”, “Elimination” and “Opps”, all of which garnered him millions and millions of streams. His debut album, 2019’s Misunderstood reached 43 on the Billboard 200. He also released well-received mixtapes like Ruffwayy and The Real Jumpman 23.

JayDaYoungan Killed In Louisiana Shooting; Father Also Shot

JayDaYoungan has been confirmed dead following a shooting on Wednesday, July 27, the Bogalusa Police Department has confirmed.  

Unconfirmed reports that the popular Louisiana rapper was shot alongside his father hit the internet earlier on Wednesday, though family members denied he had passed, and reports stated the rapper was in critical condition. 

However, authorities have now confirmed JayDaYoungan has died aged 24. His father was also shot and is in stable condition.  

“This is an update to the press release of a shooting earlier tonight,” Bogalusa Police Department said in a statement. “We can now identify the victims as Javorius Scott, A.K.A. JayDaYoungan and his father, Kenyatta Scott Sr. We can also confirm that Javorius Scott has died as a result of his injuries. Kenyatta Scott has been transported to another facility and we have been told he is in stable condition.”

They also confirmed that “Detectives are currently conducting interviews and working leads.”  

Cops confirmed they responded to reports of a shooting at 5:50 pm on Wednesday. “Officers responded and found that one victim had been transported by POV to Our Lady of the Angels Emergency Room. Another victim, still on scene, was critically wounded and was treated on scene by EMS, then transported to OLA ER.” 

There was also another shooting nearby, although cops have yet to confirm if the two events are related.

50 Cent Lands Another Multi-Year Partnership With NBA Team

50 Cent secured a deal with the Sacramento Kings less than six months after getting into business with the Houston Rockets.

The G-Unit rapper inked a multi-year partnership to make Sire Spirits the official premium champagne partner of the Sacramento Kings. 50 Cent’s liquor brand will also be the main sponsor of Rush, the largest premium club in the team’s arena.

“We are thrilled to partner with [50 Cent] and bring Sire Spirits to Golden 1 Center for our fans and guests to enjoy,” Sacramento Kings owner and chairman Vivek Ranadivé said in a press release. “This partnership continues the Kings commitment to supporting diverse entrepreneurs and aligns our shared passion for providing youth with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. I am excited to work together to support the Sacramento community.”

50 Cent landed a similar partnership with the Houston Rockets in March. His latest agreement includes his G-Unity Foundation working with the Sacramento Kings Foundation to help youth in the city.

“I did this deal after meeting with Vivek Ranadivé and learning how he and the entire Kings organization genuinely shares my philosophy of promoting conscious capitalism,” 50 Cent said. “I very much look forward to meeting the Kings fans and expanding the reach of my G-Unity Foundation and spirits brands in and around the city of Sacramento.”

Kodak Black Let Loose From GPS Monitoring After Clerical Error

Kodak Black scored a legal victory to stop GPS monitoring while he’s out on bond.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Kodak Black wasn’t required to have GPS monitoring following his drug arrest. A monitoring device was mistakenly placed on the controversial rapper despite a judge deeming it to be “not necessary.”

“Honorable Magistrate Judge Goodman signed the written order which states the pretrial release conditions for the Defendant,” Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen noted. “On page three (3) of the written order under the title ‘Location Monitoring Program’ there is no ‘check mark’ next to the condition that reads ‘Active GPS Monitoring.’ It does however state and checks off the box that states ‘location monitoring technology at the discretion of officer.’ The probation officer in turn requested a GPS monitoring device be placed on the Defendant, at his own expense.”

Cohen requested to have the device removed on three occasions. But authorities refused to do so based on the written order “allowing the probation officers the discretion to choose and place the GPS monitor on the Defendant.”

Judge Jonathan Goodman clarified the order on Wednesday (July 27).

“At the hearing, after argument specifically discussing the probation officers request for GPS monitoring, the undersigned denied the request,” he wrote. “The box for GPS monitoring on the bond is not checked. Although another box for GPS monitoring at the officer’s discretion is checked, that language applies only if the Court entered GPS monitoring as a condition, which was specifically not done here. So, Defendant is not required to wear a GPS monitor. But if the officer has specific grounds to again request GPS monitoring, then it can certainly make another request.”

Kodak Black was arrested in Florida on July 15. He was charged with trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance.

The Atlantic Records artist accused police of harassing him in a series of Twitter posts on Tuesday (July 26). He threatened to file a lawsuit, claiming he’s the victim of character assassination and racial profiling.

Yo! Beyoncé has reportedly sprung a leak! You guys know that Beyoncé is notoriously buttoned up when it comes to her operation. She has managed to create epic moments and never has she had a leak. You have to know that in this day and age of social media, clout chasing and digital music that this is close to impossible.

But that’s exactly what has happened. Her new album Renaissance has reportedly leaked to the Internet and people are going crazy. First of all, people like myself are amazed and shocked that this has happened. This has never happened! There has been a contingency that is interested in listening to the album before it drops midnight Friday morning.

There is also a contingency, the BEYHIVE, that is fighting to make sure that this does not get to people. Now, I don’t know how the Hive is going to do this, because stopping a digital leak is harder than stopping a dam that has burst.

Nevertheless, they have taken to Twitter to report people that are either sharing it or leaking it. This is Beyoncé‘s seventh album, her first album since 2016 Lemonade. You better not do it! And if you do, keep it to yourself!

They are not playing with people out here! I can’t believe that these people are getting a pass for snitching! Anyway, I don’t believe we should leak music anyway because this is an event. I love Beyoncé and I think that she is probably the most incredible artist that we have right now. Chris Brown should take notes. We need to preserve this greatness.

Quando Rondo Reportedly Rushed To The Hospital

We don’t exactly know what’s going on, but it looks like Quando Rondo is having some sort of a health issue.

According to reports and rumors, he was rushed to the hospital for some mysterious reasons. This all started from an Instagram story from the rapper. He said he’s in his hospital and he’s fighting for his life.“Pray for me, in da hospital fighting for my life.. #fuClean,” Quando Rondo wrote.

We don’t have too many more details outside of that. If you feel like it, add him to your prayers. I know a lot of people won’t be doing that. But it couldn’t hurt, right?

It really isn’t mentioned a whole lot anymore, but Quando Rondo is known as a dude that may have been party in the killing of King Von to many people. That was almost 2 years ago, but he is not convicted or charged of any crime. Quando has denied that he had anything to do with it. But he hasn’t exactly hidden his affiliation with Lul Timm, who is actually charged.

Quando Rondo has gone to great lengths to free his name from that mess. He says he was sleeping in the car prior to the shooting in Atlanta that took Von‘s life. He’s done numerous interviews on the issue and is not under investigation as far as we know. They did reportedly have beef though and clearly that has a lot of people looking at him sideways.

I don’t know anything, but a lot of kids are doing a lot of drugs and stuff. It is catching up with them faster and faster since the are already light in the a$$! Grandmaster Melle Mel got himself off CRACK! F you talking ’bout!

I didn’t get hooked on coke all that much. But when, crack came out, I did crack. I was a crack head at one time. A couple of years – a lot of people got caught out there. It wasn’t me. I didn’t have to go to rehab. After a couple years and I’m not looking as good as I used to and I ain’t writing. I left it alone.

Meek Mill Planning Avalanche Of Music Starting In September

Meek Mill unveiled his plans to release a string of new music in the coming months.

The multi-platinum selling artist announced 10 projects on Wednesday (July 27). Meek Mill said the first tape will drop in September.

“10 tapes independently starting September,” he wrote. “new music dropping AUGUST 18 the day my dad died is when I start wylinnnnnnn again! I’m not dropping albums on Friday either!”

Meek Mill’s father Robert Parker passed away in 1992. The Philly rapper will drop a single on the anniversary of his dad’s death.

Earlier this month, Meek Mill confirmed his split with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management agency. He insisted there was no bad blood between the two sides in a Twitter post about the news.

“All I seen today was meek and roc part ways,” he wrote. “I’m personally handling my own business so I can take risk and grow ..we came to that agreement together..I have a label deal with roc for my artist and I got reform super tied with them and many other investments wit jigga.”

Meek Mill hasn’t dropped any music since 2021’s Expensive Pain album. The LP was released by Atlantic Records, which he’s criticized on multiple occasions.

Sesame Place Slapped With $25 Million Class Action Lawsuit

You guys have p##### me off! I can’t believe the place where kids are supposed to learn to love each other, has become a place where racism permeates in the very fabric of the imaginary system. What in the world are we supposed to think when the place EXCLUSIVELY for kids is now a place for racism?

Sesame Place has been the subject of a class action lawsuit for allegations that certain characters discriminated against young black kids on Father’s Day. So, this is not the same stuff that we recently saw on social media. Those people are also pursuing legal action against Sesame Place but it is not a part of this whole class action lawsuit.

So, those people clearly saw what happened with the recent stuff and then took it and decided to go forward with their own lawsuit. They do allege that Sesame Place discriminated against them during the Father’s Day weekend, which was over a month ago. They also say they have plenty of video to support their claims that they were treated like trash!

The original 9-second video posted has led to at least a half-dozen similar videos showing Sesame Place employees in character ignoring Black children. I can’t even put allegedly here even though it is allegedly. They literally are seen struggling off and walking past Black kids and embracing young kids of other races. Nobody told Rosita race is a social construct!

Now, Sesame Place has a number of lawsuits that are here or pending.

Hell. This is where we are people…Sesame Street was a safe space for us. It was even created for kids in Harlem. Can you believe it?

Trump Wants LeBron James To Transition To A Woman To Play On His Women’s Basketball Team

Donald Trump proposed a bizarre scenario where he’d recruit LeBron James to play on a women’s basketball team.

The disgraced ex-president shared his wild idea involving James during a speech at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit. Trump told the audience he’d somehow convince the NBA star to transition to a woman in an effort to assemble the best women’s basketball team.

“I’d be the greatest women’s basketball coach in history,” he said. “Because I don’t like LeBron James, I like Michael Jordan much better. But I’d go up to LeBron James, it doesn’t matter. I’d say, ‘LeBron, did you ever have any desire to be a woman? Because what I’d love you to do is star on my team that I’m building up.’ I will have the greatest team in history. They’ll never lose. Nobody will come within 70 points of this team.”

Trump and James have traded insults in recent years. James famously called the twice-impeached politician a “bum” in 2017. Trump mocked the NBA champion’s intelligence in 2018.

“Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do.”

Chris Rock Re-Brands Will Smith, “Suge Smith” After Vicious Oscars Slap

Chris Rock has maintained he’s “not a victim” after Will Smith slapped him at the 2022 Academy Awards.

During the Oscars ceremony on March 27th, the King Richard actor walked onto the stage and slapped the comedian after he compared his wife Jada Pinkett Smith – who has the medical condition alopecia – to G.I. Jane.

While Rock has not yet discussed the incident in an interview, he seemingly made a mention of the slap during a show staged at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.

“Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,” he joked, according to reports.

Later in the set, Chris Rock reportedly described Will Smith as “Suge Smith” – likely a reference to jailed former Death Row Records co-founder, Suge Knight.

And as part of a bit about people being sensitive, the 57-year-old commented, “I’m not a victim, m###########… Yeah, that s### hurt, m###########. But I shook that s### off and went to work the next day … I don’t go to the hospital for a papercut.”

Will Smith apologized to Academy members and his peers during his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the film event and followed it up with a lengthy apology on Instagram the next day.

The 53-year-old resigned from the Academy and was banned from attending the Oscars for ten years.

He wanted to give talented musicians the opportunity to compete for existing deals. Because of this, Ugly Money did not hesitate the accept the position of an A&R when he was offered by FREEBANDZ. For Ugly Money, the excitement was way beyond that of a brand new job; he was truly excited because he was finally in a position where he could help talented musicians get deals.

Still on his quest in the music business, Ugly Money launched a podcast (Ugly Money Podcast), in which he had the rare opportunity of interviewing top artists and legendary producers about the winning formula in the music business. Today, he turned those endeavors into a 4,000-square-foot media complex that houses the Uglymoney Studios and Ugly Money Entertainment in Atlanta, Georgia. However, the journey so far hasn’t been without its challenges. But he has managed to overcome everyone one of them and still stands strong.

According to Ugly Money, his greatest influence is life, as he has learned quite a lot in the course of living. Also, he is motivated by the ambitions and work ethics of his artists, China Monai, Streetbaby Zae, Dee Jizzle, and Moody. According to Ugly Money, they all contribute to making him a better CEO. Talking about some of his biggest achievements, Ugly Money recalls when he met his first artist, China Monai. She had less than a thousand followers and was working at Olive Garden in Albany, Georgia. Looking at how much she has grown from 1000 followers to about 80k+ followers is quite inspiring. Also, she is living in Atlanta and driving a Mercedes Benz.

Ugly Money is currently working on the “Ugly Money Summer Tour,” which is a tour of 35+ cities in search of talented music acts. The Ugly Money podcast is also gaining acceptance across many more cities and it has the largest YouTube platform in the south. There is also a recently released music on Streetbaby Zae & China & Moody.
Also, the Ugly Money Music Summit has quickly grown to become one of the largest music conferences in the Southeast and is scheduled for September 16th through the 18th in Atlanta, Georgia. Last year’s events brought in over 5000 “industry grinders” from over 20 different record labels. And to date, the Summit Platform itself has helped over six artists get offered deals.

Ugly Money also values his family, as he enjoys spending quality time with his kids when he is not at work. He looks forward to continuous and steady growth and even some collaborations while being the driving force for emerging artists becoming a household name.

DJ Kevin Crown Is Someone You Should Know

Kevin started deejaying at the very early age of twelve. Growing up in Brownsville, which is a rough part of Brooklyn, he was forced to always stay indoors by his parents. This propelled Kevin to start playing around with his father’s home deejaying setup. Also, Kevin is not just a professional DJ, he is also a trained electrician by trade. He went through an apprenticeship, has a college degree, and is also a member of a local union of electricians. Aside from being a DJ, Kevin has practiced for many years as an electrician.

However, there was a time in his life when he had to choose between his music and his trade as an electrician. Working in construction as an electrician was rather too inconsistent for Kevin. Sometimes he would work for six months and be off work for another five or four months. But, he always found himself deejaying week in and week out, be it in the rain or under the sun. It didn’t take so much for Kevin to know that deejaying was rather more consistent than his trade as an electrician.

An inspirational incident for Kevin was after he had a long weekend of deejaying in Cancun, Mexico, for over 7,000 people. On his way to work the next day, he fell asleep on the wheels and resultantly ran into the back of another person’s car. Although there was no major damage to both his vehicle and the other person’s, and also no injuries, he felt a strong urge to call his boss and take an indefinite leave of absence. This was when Kevin’s daughter was just a month old. He never went back to his construction job ever again. According to Kevin, he is happier and more financially stable compared to when he was working for someone.

A challenging time in Kevin Crown’s deejaying career was in 2010 when he was stabbed in his left arm, which resulted in a severed radial nerve. This left Kevin disabled for almost a year. During this time, he had to be deejaying with only one hand. To Kevin, hard work remains a virtue, and he regards his parents as his biggest influence for consistently grooming him to value and respect the dignity of labor. His greatest accomplishment is being able to maintain relevance and stay active for quite a long period.

During the pandemic, Kevin developed an online presence that was very significant to a wide number of people. He started the “Kevin Crown Morning Show” which aired on Monday through Friday (9 am-12 noon). It started on Instagram and proceeded to Facebook and then YouTube and finally Twitch, where he found a great international following. These shows helped a lot of people during the quarantine. Apart from music, Kevin is also into fitness and sports. He is a Fourth-Degree belt in Taekwondo. Kevin Crown is back to performing and touring. He looks up to producing his music, doing more collaborations, and just grabbing more commercial opportunities.

Belizean American rapper Foreign Skrilla drops her new album “Skrillatic”. The album includes features from Lil June Afro P####, OMB BloodBath, King Rome & King Brack. With the music industry being male dominant in the Belizean & Hip Hop community Foreign Skrilla has made a way to stand out. Her work has received a lot of attention from her growing fan base.
