Fetty Wap’s Label Owner Challenges Him to Boxing Match After Fat Joe Interview

Fetty Wap is hot news again on the heels of his high-profile arrest for allegedly running a massive drug ring.

Over the last few days, a recent interview between the New Jersey artist and Fat Joe has caused a big rift between Fetty Wap and the CEO of RGF Productions, the label that signed rapper.

Fetty took to Facebook to share a memory from five years ago. He captioned the post: “I’m not ever staying down or stayin quiet again … #ThisMyShit #JerseyBoyWithStripes. I don’t even look at them n##### as opps lol…just old miserable and goofy…lying bout paying my bail who does that?”

Fetty was referencing the $500,000 bail and the legal firepower he needed to get free until his upcoming federal trial.

RGF label owner Frank V. Robinson aka Nitt Da Gritt, snapped back swiftly, letting it be known that he wants all the smoke.

“Hey ‘Mr.Delusional’ @fettywap1738 I Never said I paid for your lawyer but I did send one up there just in case you needed one but you had it covered! And if I’m miserable your “DELUSIONAL” bc you not a street n#### , trap n#### , hustler or none of the above and your definitely not from 12th Ave you wasn’t even a little sprinkle of that #fettycap #173fake.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CWvcFRMr7P3/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

The music executive took to social media to have a confrontational back and forth with the “Trap Queen” rapper.

Robinson first typed, “Zavier Jordan (Fetty’s real name) stop subbing me and lying at that … ya girl from 12th Ave You not.”

Fetty responded, “… is we meeting or you gonna keep woofin?”

Frank V. Robinson retorted: “when the last time you been on 10th Ave comfortably my boy … or even stepped foot on 12th at all at that … stop acting krazy Weirdo. lol”

It didn’t take long before Robinson called Fetty out for a fistfight.

It seems like Robinson wants to hop in the ring with him to settle the beef like “real men.”

He posted, “Zavier J. Maxwell celebrity boxing match??”

https://www.instagram.com/stories/nittdagritt/2715545659200510580/?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&utm_medium=share_sheet

Robinson seems to know something that others do not know. Maybe he is calling the sing-songy rapper out for not being as “gangsta” as he has people thinking he is.

While we hate to see people go back and forth, this might be something we would like to see. Someone should call Snoop Dogg over at Triller and set this one up.

J. Diamondz And Kwaw Kese Join Forces For Hit Music From Africa To America

Since it started, Hip-Hop has managed to fuse, meld and uplift all forms of music in a way that often produces new art. A step further, Africa is the center of all civilization and art. New York is the birthplace of Hip-Hop, where all the elements converged. J. Diamondz, a native New Yorker, and Kwaw Kese, a native Ghanaian, have come together for their hit song “Give It To Me.” On the surface, the song celebrates women, but beyond that is reaffirms the love between distant relatives.

Individually, they are both respected and known in their element. J. Diamondz represents one of the young, upcoming rappers from the city that does not lean in on drill rap. And Kwaw definitely reps that classic Hiplife/Afrobeat/Hip-Hop hybrid that has taken over global music. The pair talk to AllHipHop’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur about their collaboration as well as their individual goals and hopes.

Kanye West Tries To Get Kim Back With Sweet Picture And Long Prayer

Kanye West wants to restore his family.

While he is thankful for all the blessings he has in his life, he believes that the one thing that will make his life complete is to have his wife’s confidence restored.

So he posted a prayer/ apology on social media to start the long healing process.

The billionaire has taken to Instagram to post a picture of him and his ex-wife kissing on a beach. He pours his heart out through a five-minute video that he calls his “Thanksgiving Prayer.”

https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWuSBAsIyD6/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

The video is Black and White and features his Sunday Service choir. It is also close-captioned so that fans can follow along.

Kanye West opens with a silly joke about his name mirroring Conway from Griselda and announcing that this will be a super, super, super, super long prayer. He then thanks God for his blood family, his fans, and the haters.

This makes sense, as Kanye has often said that his haters are just as important to his life as those who celebrate him.

At the beginning of his prayer, Kanye informs the people that he wrote this prayer as he is taking his son, Saint, to his first football game. He drops a small stunt and shares that his oldest son played catch with Tom Brady before playing his game.

God is just so good.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CWmpymEDxrd/

His prayer continues by saying that his son is a mix of him and his wife’s face. These two things, his prayer informs, are two of his favorite things.

But then the prayer gets a little serious.

Kanye West abandons the s##ts and giggles to declare his greatest desire for his life. He says, “All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused.”

Yeezy continues by saying that he takes accountability for his actions (or what he also calls mis-actions).

In a very mature movement, Kanye recognizes that the one thing that his failures and successes have in common is that he is at the core. He then confessed that alcohol had a huge role in the dismantling of his family.

He then acknowledged that he did not always take his medicine to manage his manic episodes. Kanye noted how not taking his meds caused issues in his family.

In a moment of full transparency, Kanye mentions that his ego teeters from being “entertaining” to being “overbearing.” He reprimands himself by saying, “There are ways to show confidence without arrogance.”

While he mentioned that his temper pushed back his family, he moved past that to reveal that when he “got saved,” his self-righteous behavior did not make him a better person. He stated in this (more-confession-than-prayer) prayer that he was “arrogant with his Jesus.”

Kanye shares for the first time that Kim did not want him wearing the MAGA hat and that she wanted to protect him from the criticism that was sure to come his way. He revealed that his political position, including running for President, made him and his family targets.

He admitted that he was ill-prepared to run for President, did not have political allies on either side, and embarrassed his wife by revealing personal information during this only press conference.

Kanye also reveals that he was not a good steward over the family’s finances.

He ends the prayer by saying that he is thankful for the family that Kim has given him, the life that God has given him, and the patience that the public has given him.

Do you think that this is Ye turning over a new leaf? Or do you think he is just messing with our heads?

Corners to Class: Kodak Black Considers College Enrollment

As a man, and as a musician, Kodak Black continues to evolve. Recently, Yak hopped on an Instagram Live broadcast. There, he shares an entrenched desire to obtain a higher education. This altruistic artist is keen on attending college.

Emphatically, the “Super Gremlin” spitter says, “I’m about to go to college real soon. And y’all gone see that; ya know what I’m saying. Like, what street n##### y’all know — who made millions of dollars — go back to college?”

Next, the “Too Many Years” MC mentions, “I mean, I ain’t never been to college. But, I got my GED while I was in prison, and s### like that.” Continuing the commentary, he shares, “But like — actually, tryin’ further they education — I ain’t tryin’ to be out here on no crazy s###; the f###.”

Below, in its entirety, check out Lil’ Black’s statement.

Yes, Black is seemingly bound for the books. Recently — to the chagrin of Deion Sanders — Boosie shared his aspiration of attending Jackson State University.

Hip-Hop’s matriculation is impressive; education is everything.

Drawn To The Sky Is Making Waves With His Hip-Hop and Pop-Punk Fusion Sound

Beauty in Darkness. If you ask rising punk-rap artist Drawn To The Sky how he describes his music, this is how he sums it up. “There’s nothing wrong with experiencing difficult emotions,” he shares, “and I want to show people that you can turn those negative feelings into positive ones by recognizing the relationship they share.”

Drawn To The Sky, also known as Dustin Gill, is a Minnesota-born, Los Angeles-based artist making waves in the hip-hop and punk-pop scenes. With a wide array of influences, Gill’s Drawn to the Sky project sounds like it draws from the emotional singles of Lil Peep and XXXTentacion just as much as it does from the pop-punk stylings of Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens.

Since the first Drawn To The Sky project was released in 2018, when Gill was 24, he has gone on to accrue millions of streams on Spotify alone and has found himself on Spotify playlists alongside bands like All Time Low, A Day to Remember, and Neck Deep. His most recent release, the single “Dopamine Death Dream”, features an impressive display of classic emo songwriting accompanied by a beat that even features a tinge of 100 Gecs – Esque hyper-pop.

With his last few releases being one-off singles, Gill is aiming for the next Drawn To The Sky project to be an EP of new music. “Towards the end of October, I plan on releasing a new single featuring an upcoming artist in my scene known as ‘COTIS’,” Gill shares. He continues, “Then I plan on putting out a new song every month until I drop an upcoming EP this Winter.” With a sound that is uniquely his own, it will be hard to miss the next Drawn To The Sky release. Keep up with Drawn To The Sky by following him on Instagram, @drawntothesky, and listening to him on Spotify.

Charles Barkley Really Wants To Meet Eminem

NBA All-Star Charles Barkley says that he would like to meet rapper, Eminem. The former Sixer shared that he has been a fan of the “8 Mile” artist for years.

On a recent appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show, the Hall of Famer shared the news, adding that it is one of the items on his bucket list.

“I’d like to meet Eminem. I am a big fan of his,” the always opinionated TNT sports commentator said. “I got to meet Snoop Dogg last year. I’ve met Dr. Dre before. I’ve met Denzel, which was awesome. There are very few people that I have not had the opportunity to brush around in my amazing, amazing life.”

His life has been amazing. Barkley may want to meet the “rap god,” but don’t get it twisted, he is mythological in his own right.

The 6’ 6” Alabama native was one of the greatest power forwards in the history of basketball. He amassed over 20,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 4,000 assists.

According to NBA.com, he was drafted into the league as a junior in 1984 to the Philadelphia 76ers as a fifth overall pick.

He spent eight of his 16 seasons in the NBA on that team before going to the Phoenix, Arizona Suns. In 1993, with the Suns, he earned the NBA MVP award. He was traded to Houston and then to the Los Angeles Lakers in the late 90s.

One of his greatest accomplishments as a basketball player is being the leading scorer with 18.0 ppg for the Dream Team during the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.

Now Sir Charles, as he is affectionately called, is a headlining analyst on TNT’s award-winning “Inside the NBA.” If he really wants to meet Eminem, we don’t think he will have a problem.

The bat signal is up and Marshall Mathers, who is reportedly a basketball fan, is probably hopping on that red phone any moment.

Mariah Carey Is Turning Her Life Into A TV Series

Mariah Carey is adapting her memoir into a TV series alongside her “Precious” director, Lee Daniels.

Mariah is planning to bring her life story to television via an eight-part series, and she has been collaborating the writer/director behind the likes of TV hit “Empire.”

She shared an update with Z100 with host Garrett Vogel, who asked if she would ever consider staging a musical based on her life and hits.

Mariah said, “We did the book, and we are getting it together. I’m working with my friend Lee Daniels. And we are talking about the adaptation of my book. I would rather do that.”

“Lee is probably going to hear this and kill me but it’s probably going to be an eight-part series.”

The “Without You” singer, who is mom to 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her rapper ex-husband Nick Cannon, emphasised the importance of the show being “gritty, grimy, beautiful, specular and real”.

In her 2020 memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” Mariah was incredibly frank about her life, even detailing the abuse she witnessed as a child.

“By the time I was a toddler, I had developed the instincts to sense when violence was coming,” she wrote. “As though I was smelling rain, I could tell when adult screaming had reached a certain pitch and velocity that meant I should take cover.”

The Island Boys Booed At Club LIV

A Miami audience recently booed the viral sensation Island Boys during a recent performance.

Kodiyakredd, and Flyysoulja were booked to perform at Club Liv. The two South Florida rappers sang their hit social media song to a hefty unapproving crowd.

The identical twins, whose real names are Franky and Alex Venegas, both rocked matching orangey-red vests, belts, and sneakers for the show.

They further donned their now-signature blonde locks and sang their off-key TikTok hit, “I’m an Island bowy.”

The 20-year-olds have become hot tickets since their initial video of them “freestyling” in a pool went crazy on the interwebs.

The original video is said to have had over 9 million views but has now been deleted from the social media platform.

Despite getting booed by the Club Liv crowd, the twins do have their eyes set on pie in the sky. They recently recorded the once acapella throw away and mastered an actual track — putting out a music video to help market it the ditty-bop as a real song.

Produced by Lose, the song is officially a Kodiyakredd song that features his brother Flyysoulja. They are not an actual duo or group.

So popular are the two, some big stars have taken note. Anderson .Paak ordered a Cameo message from the social media sensations, asking them to send him and his Silk Sensation brother Bruno Mars words of encouragement.

For a small fee, the boys replied.

Seems like they have fully embraced their celebrity. But have you?

Award-winning singer-songwriter, actress, author and entrepreneur Ashanti is the 2021 Soul Train Awards ‘Lady of Soul’ Award honoree.

The songstress has had an amazing career with achievements such as a Grammy, 8 Billboard Awards, and several Soul Train Awards including R&B/Soul Album, Independent R&B Soul Performance, R&B Soul Single-Female, and the Lady of Soul Awards’ ‘Aretha Franklin Entertainer of the Year’ award.

Ashanti has also made history with having her first 3 singles land in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10. She also is in the Guiness World Record Book for having the fastest selling debut for a female artist at the time.

AllHipHop caught up with Ashanti to discuss her Soul Train honor, contribution to music, new endeavors and more!

AllHipHop: I’m really big on celebrating our legends and veterans and giving people their flowers. So, you’ve been one of our legends; I mean the Guinness World Record Book for fastest selling female debut at the time. Your Billboard accomplishments…. Now we are at the 2021 BET Soul Train Awards ‘Lady of Soul’ honoree, Ms. Ashanti. How does it feel?

Ashanti: It feels surreal. It’s such an amazing feeling and amazing moment for me. You know, Soul Train is such a staple in our culture, and to be amongst some of our icons is just an amazing, amazing feeling. You know we’re back home. We’re in New York. It’s the 50th anniversary. You know so, it really feels amazing!

AllHipHop: When you look good, you feel good from image to mental health. Ashanti always looks good. Is this your own doing with the styling? Are you co-conspiring with a stylist? I feel like Ashanti always gives looks.

Ashanti: I definitely have a stylist. His name is Tim. He’s definitely been getting the fire for me.

AllHipHop: You were great in the Verzuz. Who would you like to see in a Verzuz?

Ashanti: I don’t know. Did they say that Missy and Busta were about to go?

AllHipHop: They want them to…People have been pairing them because of their visuals and how great they are, and because they have no opponent, so people have been kinda like playing with the idea.

Ashanti: That would be kinda dope, and it’s like male, female. I would love to see that. I would love to see another Reggae one. I love all of my Reggae music, all of my Carribean music. Let’s get some Trini music; some Soca music. I would definitely love to see some island vibes. Some Afrobeats would be kinda dope.

AllHipHop: Several mainstream artists have sampled your music. How does it feel to have such timeless, classic music?

Ashanti: Amazing feeling. The fact that people are still sampling, and the fact that I’m doing records that I’ve written twenty years ago and they hit the same today is like a blessing. So, I’m very grateful for that.

AllHipHop: Top 5 favorite rappers dead or alive?

Ashanti: I would definitely go with Pac, Nas, Jay, Biggie….and this is not in any order. Ooooh who’s my number 5? I don’t know. Help me out. Bring one out.  Say one. Wayne & Drake is dope. Look I cheated.

AllHipHop: What’s next for Ashanti?

Ashanti: Um so many things happening. I’m executively producing a film coming up starting in January. It will be filming in Florida. It’s called ‘Plus One.’ It’s a rom-com. I have a book coming out. I’m very excited about that. Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Excited about that. Another tour coming up overseas next year. I think we start in February. So, it’s a beautiful, beautiful moment for me.

Will Smith Showed His Grandma A Sex Scene Featuring Jada Pinkett Smith

Will Smith once showed his grandmother one of Jada Pinkett Smith’s sex scenes just before she was due to meet her.

The “King Richard” star has recalled playing a joke on his now-wife Jada when she was going to meet his family for the very first time, which involved him sitting his grandma down to watch one of Jada’s films – knowing full well it had a sex scene in it.

He said: “She was going to meet my family for the first time. I was raised in a very religious household and my grandmother Gigi is all the way down with Jesus.

“Gigi didn’t know who Jada was, so I put on a movie of hers and worked out that by the time Jada arrived my grandmother would be watching the love scene.”

Will found the interaction between Jada and his grandma hilarious, but has failed to convince Jada that it was funny, even 27 years later.

Speaking during an appearance on Britain’s “The Graham Norton Show” – which is due to air on Friday – Will added: “When she walked in, my grandmother was in the middle of the scene and she looked up and said to Jada, ‘When I was growing up people didn’t have to take their clothes off to make a movie.’

“Jada took me aside and said, ‘Why would you do that?’ I said, ‘I promise you it’s funny, maybe not now, but one day this is going to provide us with years of joy.’ We have been together for 27 years and she literally hasn’t chuckled once!”

Meanwhile, the actor recently said he feels as though he’s “failed every woman” he’s interacted with.

He said: “I want to tell the truth. I want to let people have it. I’ve carried, most of life, the sense of failing every woman I interact with. I haven’t talked about that publicly.”

Singer-Songwriter Tarik Transports Listeners to New Places With His Music

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” – Plato

Music is a form of art that resonates with the heart without language. Sometimes music doesn’t require words to be fulfilled; the energy within can connect with anyone. When this kind of music is accompanied by lyrics of nostalgia, it creates a virtual world for the listener. Tarik, a renowned singer, and songwriter is using his talent to create such imagery in the minds of his audience. He loves creating music because it helps him express his feelings, emotions, and thoughts.

Born in Canada, Tarik moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career. He always knew the artist in him and his ability to play with music and words. Growing up, he realized his passion and started pursuing it as a profession. Unlike other contemporary musicians, Tarik never chases trends or strives to create one. He believes in creating music that people can connect to. His music is all about positive vibes and the simplicity of living.

Tarik has realized that people around the world are victims of the rat race, which makes them stressed. Somewhere we all miss the good old days when life was simple and worry-free. Most of his songs are intended to create such imagery to transport the listeners to a happier world that existed when we all were all children. He crafts melodies that inspire his audiences to travel to a world of simplicity where everyone is happy and content with themselves.

Inspired by popular music artists like Michael Jackson, Elton John, and George Michael, Tarik has created a perfect world for his audience through music. He crafts his tunes from the core of his heart and uses a child’s perception to pen down the lyrics. This often helps him invoke a deep sense of nostalgia among the audience, transporting them to happier times in their lives. In all his songs, nostalgia reigns supreme, and love is a dominant power.

Tarik has never looked forward to creating top-charting music; instead, he loves to stick to a theme that he believes in and helps him move closer to his audiences. The appreciation from his listeners after the feel-good impact that his music has on them is his biggest accomplishment. He connects with people, especially his listeners, learns about their experiences, and then relates them to his own. This intertwining of experiences has been the inspiration behind his heartwarming lyrics.

Being different in an industry that thrives on trends was not easy for Tarik. He initially struggled a lot as a solo musician who chose to reroute his art to create a happier world for his listeners. It was difficult for him to walk this path, and he kept persisting until his concept was recognized by millions with positive feedback. He now works with a producer who is a like-minded artist and never hesitates to share his opinion or suggestions with Tarik.

The musician is happy to be distinguished for his art in the industry and will continue his journey for many more years to come. He wants his music to make people happy and help them embrace the simplicity of living like they once did in their childhood.

99 Rus is Taking the Music Industry by Storm with His Unique R&B Compositions

Music is often considered one of the best ways to express your feelings or tell a story. This is the reason why musicians across the world have managed to connect with millions through this art form. Irrespective of language and racial barriers, music has united people for ages and inspired them in some way or the other. R&B probably stands out of all genres as a way for an artist to excel when it is about telling stories. The genre that was born as a reflection of a social revolution has evolved through the years to find a new voice and style in every decade. 99 Rus is one of the rising stars in the R&B space now who is reviving the genre with passion and telling stories that resonated with people from all walks of life.

Born in 1994 in New Orleans, Louisiana, 99 Rus grew up under the influence of blues music. According to this young artist, his career started at the age of 5 when he got the opportunity to sing in the church choir. It was the year 1999, so he adopted the stage name “99 Rus” to mark the year that introduced him to music as a performer. Rus always loved listening to blues music so when he wanted to pursue his passion as a musician it was only natural for him to become an R&B artist.

In college, Rus and five of his friends formed a music band called “Quest”. It was an R&B-focused band that gained huge popularity in college and they even performed at several events and clubs across the city. However, this glorious period did not last long. As their time in college ended, the group split with some of the members moving out of the town for further studies while the rest joined 9 to 5 jobs for financial stability.

All of a sudden 99 Rus’ world fell apart as he struggled to navigate the music industry. He was then introduced to the digital music platform and the idea made sense to him. He started working hard on his craft, penning lyrics that reflected tiny pieces of his life. Soon he created his unique style that merges R&B with soulful country music to create a sound that is soothing and rhythmic. He fearlessly experimented with the genre to create music that is unique yet familiar to listeners.

His debut single on Spotify “Never Say Die” became a trending track on the platform. The song was released in November 2020 and wonderfully merged the notes of Blues with subtle undertones of hard-hitting rock. The lyrics talk about the everyday challenges in life and how some people decide to quit following their dreams under societal pressure. “Never Say Die” is a new age Blues music that motivates the listeners to take the difficult path if that leads to their dreams because in the end, the struggles will be worth it.

Today, 99 Rus has 5 more hit singles to his name that are soaring high on the American music charts. He is focused on his debut album that is due to be released this Christmas. He is optimistic about the response and believes that the songs will enthrall his audiences like never before.

Rising Music Star Brandon Delgado Is Taking the Industry by Storm

Some people struggle to find careers they like. And then we have others who discover what they want early, but life gets in the way. Recording artist Brandon Delgado is a good example of the latter.

Brandon’s journey in the music industry began as a way of coping with pain. His family moved into the US from Cuba when Brandon was 10 years old. The family settled in Miami, Florida, where he and his younger brother Jake were raised.

Settling in was one of the hardest experiences of Brandon’s life. For one, there was a language barrier between him and his peers. As a kid, his family members communicated to one another in Spanish, but suddenly he was thrust into an English-speaking community.

No one had prepared Brandon for the culture shock, and it hit him hard. In school, he struggled to make friends and connect with his peers. He spent many moments alone, and that’s how he started learning about computers.

A lack of money was Brandon’s second challenge. Although his parents were working really hard to make ends meet, there was just too much going on. His mom was studying to be a nurse and working part-time at a deli. His dad was working 15 hour-days as a cab driver and trying to give his family a good life.

By the time Brandon was 13, his English had improved, but life was still hard. On top of everything else, puberty had also come calling, and he had to deal with that too. Music was the only thing that seemed to help him feel better, and that’s how he found himself writing songs to express his feelings.

After his high school graduation, Brandon informed his parents that college was not in his plans. He wanted to explore music further and perfect his songwriting. Although they were reluctant, they gave him their blessings, and that’s how he moved to LA.

Brandon spent his first two years there perfecting his artistry. The first thing he did was develop a style. Pop music had carried him through his teenage years, but he was not sure that was it for him. He’d enjoyed R&B music too, and he felt he could create a unique sound from the two genres.

The next thing he did was seek mentors. He hung out in areas where famous artists had shows and observed how they performed on stage. In his 3rd year in LA, he recorded his first single, “The Muse,” and sent it to several producers. One, DJ Nicky, got back to him, and they started an ongoing collaboration.

After a few tweaks, “The Muse” was ready for the world. Brandon uploaded it to his social platforms. Within two months, the track had attracted a viewership of 50K+ on YouTube and earned Brandon 11K subscribers.

The duo went back to the studio and was working on a full album when the pandemic hit. Brandon went back home to be with his family but continued writing new music. When things started returning to normal, he went back to LA, resumed the project, and added new songs.

Brandon’s new album “We Were Stronger” is scheduled to drop early next year. Brandon says the songs describe everything Covid, loss, love, and healing. He adds, “Music saved me. I hope I can save someone through mine too.”

Hip-Hop Artist Ritchelli Rodriguez Is Taking the Music Industry by Storm

Hip-hop is more than just a genre of music. It is a musical culture sweeping the music industry with rhythm, art, poetry, and music. From remixes to cross-genre mash-ups, hip-hop has provided musicians with ample space to be at their creative best. Ritchelli Rodriguez is a fresh new star in the New York hip-hop scene who has gained crazy popularity in just a few months. The artist is only 21 and has already made it to the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021.

Ritchelli’s story starts as a young child. He grew up seeing his father regretting not fulfilling his dream of becoming a musician because he failed to realize his passion. Ritchelli found his interest in music while listening to his father play different musical instruments as a pastime. As his passion for music grew and intensified, Ritchelli inherited his father’s unfulfilled dream but was adamant about turning it into a reality. Under his father’s tutelage, Ritchelli became a master of musical instruments. By the time he reached college, he was able to play almost any instrument known to mainstream music.

Growing up in New York, the cradle of hip-hop, it was only natural for Ritchelli to be fascinated with this genre. Fearing he might have regrets later in life like his father, Ritchelli dropped out of college to chase his passion for music. He never wanted to follow the traditional path of obtaining a degree and securing a job. To him, it was like a labyrinth that would trap him forever, ruining his dreams of becoming a hip-hop artist.

It was initially difficult for him to penetrate an industry that was already oversaturated with talent. He worked hard to hone his skills and discover his unique voice and style. Ritchelli always wanted to distinguish himself from the crowd, so he never mindlessly chased trends. He looked at music as a way to express his feelings and connect with like-minded people. Instead of running after labels to launch him, he took to social media to find his audience.

Ritchelli used his Facebook account to publish a few vocal tracks that he penned during his college days. It did not get the expected response, but Ritchelli noticed something positive. The number of views started increasing from double digits to triple digits. This encouraged him to compose music independently. He could not afford to record at a professional studio, but whatever he and his father could improvise at home was enough to kick start his career. His independent debut single “Midnight Thrills” was all the rage on Facebook. Within a few weeks, influencers started recreating the song as dance covers and background scores for their videos. This overwhelming response motivated Ritchelli to start his YouTube channel and also register with Spotify and Apple music.

Within a few months, Ritchelli became a music sensation on social media, with labels scouting him to sign a deal. His second single, “Trapped World,” was listed in the Billboard Top 100 chart. He has already started getting offers from popular artists around the globe to collaborate, but he doesn’t want to make any impulsive decisions. Ritchelli understands the music industry and its trends, so he wants to make well-thought-out choices about his future projects. He is working hard on his skills and is optimistic about creating more unique and fresh hip-hop tracks for his audience in the coming years.
