According to NBC News, “Petty had initially pleaded not guilty to the single-count indictment but later changed his plea, court documents filed on Thursday show. He’s scheduled to be sentenced in January. Authorities in Beverly Hills arrested Petty following a November 2019 traffic stop after learning that he had moved from New York to California and failed to submit his sex offender status. He was released after posting $20,000 bail, but was arrested again last year after he was indicted in connection with the incident. He was released from federal custody on a $100,000 bond.”

According to one woman, Cesar Millan not only allowed his personal pet to assault her, but also let the animal kill the dog of Hip-Hop’s first royal monarch, Queen Latifah.
Her name is Lidia Matiss and she now is suing the popular dog coach.
In her lawsuit she alleges that in 2017, Millan’s pitbull Junior bit her, stopping her from competing in tournaments like USA Gymnastics Junior Olympics.
As a young star, she competes at the highest levels.
But that is all gone and she wants that bread that comes from these types of cases, since her dream has been snatched from her.
Matiss further states that he was violent toward other animals, including the “Ladies First” rapper’s dog.
Dana Owens, the rapper’s birth name, brought two of her dogs to Millan’s compound in Santa Clarita in California. In Lidia’s filing, she claims that Millan tried to hide the fact that his dog mauled one of La’s babies by saying the animal was hit by a speeding car.
This “fatal car incident” happened after the Queen was too happy and shared her “first training session” with Millan on Twitter.
Cesar Millan is not shying away from any smoke, saying that she knew she could get bit by the dog.
The young girl, who had a career as a promising gymnast, shared that as a result of Junior’s bite, she is left impaired and unable to work. She is also suggested from physical and emotional trauma caused by Junior, the dog.
According to the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburg, there are 52,000,000 dogs in the United States. The hospital cites the CDC who states, “Approximately 800,000 dog bites each year that require medical attention. Even more amazing is the fact that 334,000 are severe enough to warrant treatment in a hospital.”

The latest witness to testify against R. Kelly at his New York racketeering and sexual abuse trial has accused the troubled star of locking her in his studio for days and raping her.
The woman, named Sonja, took the stand on Thursday (September 9) and revealed she became the singer’s sex slave in 2003 after approaching Kelly for an interview.
She told the court the alleged incident took place at Kelly’s home studio in Chicago, Illinois after meeting him at a shopping mall in Utah, while working as an intern at a local radio station.
She hoped landing an interview with R. Kelly would boost her career.
The accuser claimed R. Kelly insisted she should chat to him at his home and his associates reportedly arranged and paid for her flight.
Upon her arrival, she made it clear she was there to interview Kelly and nothing else, but his handlers gave her a list of rules, which included one that she must ask for permission to eat or go to the bathroom.
She claims minutes later she was locked in the room for several days.
At one point she asked to eat but after taking just a few bites, she became drowsy and fell asleep. When she woke up she allegedly saw R. Kelly putting on his pants and realized her underwear had been removed, and she felt like “something had been inside” her.
One of Kelly’s associates later told her that he would not have time for an interview and she was told “you can’t tell anybody.”

According to Lewis, Ceasar’s “b###h” Suzette apparently insulted his digs in Harlem, NY — where he’s originally from — and this prompted the spill. Lewis also claims that the Black Ink Crew shops are “making no money, social media dead, the ratings is poor, and you back to looking basic.”
He went on to claim that Fezzi, who frequently appeared in the Brooklyn installment of the VH1 franchise, is homeless and sleeping in the shop. And though it wasn’t outright stated, Lewis implied that he was never paid for his services provided to Ceasar (real name: David Emanuel) and other members of the team.

Celebrity power couple Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter are working with luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. to provide financial backing for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
According to reports, Jay-Z’s Shawn Carter Foundation and Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD organization partnered with Tiffany & Co. for the About Love Scholarship program for HBCUs.
“We are only as strong as the work we do together, and we are honored to partner with The Carters,” said Anisa Kamadoli Costa, Chief Sustainability Officer of Tiffany & Co. “Their relentless dedication to lifting underrepresented groups is the inspiration for the About Love Scholarship program.”

For The Melodic Blue, Baby Keem tapped his Pulitzer Prize-winning cousin, Kendrick Lamar, for the “Family Ties” single as well as the “Range Brothers” album cut. “Family Ties” is already a Top 20 hit by debuting at #18 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.

“I have a partnership with pgLang, creatively. They handle a lot of aspects creatively and management-wise and things like that for me,” explained Baby Keem in June. “We work as a team to contribute to each others’ goals and things like that.”
Last year, Baby Keem said, “I’ve seen pgLang before it was even an idea that came to fruition. It’s sticking to and believing in something, even when you don’t know how it will be created, and it starts out as just a small idea. I believed in it, and I stuck to it and now everything is paying off. So I’ve seen it from when there was no idea, to now. So to me, pgLang represents loyalty and trust.”

In a recent interview with “In Depth with Graham Bensinger” Ice Cube spoke about his early years as a South-Central Los Angeles native. He tells a story where an old classmate of his nearly discovered that he really is “The Wrong Ni**a to fu*k Wit!”
“Somebody I knew and went to school with — who we knew was heavy on drugs — had went around to my house and gave my mother some cockamamie story, so she gave him $20, and I was so mad,” Cube explained.
“You violated me and my family,” he went on, “because you knew you wasn’t ever going to give that $20 back. So, me and friends was going around the corner to kill him, and he wasn’t home.”
“Thank God he wasn’t home,” he said. “We were young and we was mad and we had a weapon and it was going to happen. It would’ve been stupid, and I wouldn’t be sitting here if it did happen.”
When asked if he had ever reflected on how differently his life could have turned out had he made the choice to go through with it he replied, “Yes, I do. Like I said, I’m glad he wasn’t there, because nobody should die over $20.”

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty has entered a plea deal for failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California “PEOPLE” reports.
According to “PEOPLE”, they have seen court records that show that Petty pleaded guilty on Thursday (Sept. 9) during a virtual hearing. He is now looking at a sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release. He has another four months to wait before he finds out his fate; sentencing has been scheduled for Jan. 24, 2022.
“PEOPLE” reached out to an attorney for Kenneth Petty and a representative for Nicki Minaj but they did not immediately respond to their requests.
In March, Petty was arrested after being indicted for failure to register as a sex offender and pleaded not guilty posting $100,000 bail. It was determined in November 2019 that he was not registered as a sex offender in California where he was residing.
In 1995, Kenneth Petty was convicted for the first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl and had to register as a sex offender. He received a sentence of 8 to 54 months but spent four years in prison.
In August, Petty’s alleged rape victim, Jennifer Hough, filed a lawsuit against him and Nicki Minaj accusing them of attempting to intimidate her into recanting her rape accusation. The lawsuit also accused the pair of intentional infliction of emotional distress. Hough further alleged that the couple had offered her up to $500,000 to recant her claims.
The couple recently spent some time with Rhianna and ASAP Rocky on a double date. They were joined by Nicki and Petty’s son whose name still hasn’t been revealed although Nicki has been heard referring to him as “Papa Bear.”

Now, in a recent interview with “Evening Standard” Megan talks about the effect she has on men…she makes them feel uncomfortable. And that’s something you’re just going to have to deal with!
“I’m starting to see how much more ignorant men are than I thought. “When you’re a woman who’s not a threat, men don’t really bother you […] men like that damsel in distress type of role and that’s not me. I feel like that’s what kind of gets under a lot of men’s skin. Like, ‘How dare she talk about her v#####? She loves herself and she don’t need me and she’s going to take my money.’ I just feel like I make a lot of them uncomfortable and I feel like that’s my job.” She goes further saying if she causes offense then she’s “doing something right.”
“Baby, look the other way. You can’t stop looking the other way, because you like what you see and you hate that you like what you see,” she continued. “That’s why you hate it, that’s why you go through all these emotions and you’re lashing out on me. So I’m not even mad at these men. They’re emotionally ignorant. Once they come to grips with who they are, maybe they’ll grow up.”
However, Megan hasn’t let that deter her from finding love admitting that not all men are emotionally immature. She highlights her boo, Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine who she began dating earlier this year. Speaking about Pardi she says, “Right now, he is so great. He is so emotionally literate. He knows himself, he knows me and he’s not offended by anything I do. He’s right there cheering me on.”

Usher is set to host the upcoming CBS series “The Activist” alongside Priyanka Chopra Jones, and Julianne Hough. The five-week reality series premieres on October 22 and will see activists go head-to-head advocating for their cause in a series of challenges culminating in a grand finale.
A barrage of public criticism followed the official announcement with people accusing CBS of exploiting the current wave of global activism and tarnishing it with the reality TV brush.
Deadline reports: “’The Activist’ is a competition series that features six inspiring activists teamed with three high-profile public figures working together to bring meaningful change to one of three vitally important world causes: health, education, and environment.”
Contestants will compete in challenges to promote their individual causes with one ultimate goal: “to create impactful movements that amplify their message, drive action, and advance them to the G20 Summit in Rome, Italy.”
There they get the opportunity to mingle with world leaders and a shot at raising funds and awareness for their cause. The winner is the activist who receives the largest commitment and will be crowned at a finale with some big-name musical performances thrown in.

Rapper Nelly is officially a country music star – his new album, Heartland, has earned the Hot in Herre hitmaker his first top 10 spot on the genre’s top album chart.
Heartland was released on August 27 and has landed in seventh place on Billboard’s Top Country Albums list.
In its first week, the LP scored 13,000 equivalent album sales, according to Billboard magazine.
The nine-track set features eight collaborations, including single “Lil Bit” with country duo Florida Georgia Line, which reached number three on the Hot Country Songs countdown in July.
The rapper, real name Cornell Haynes Jr., previously scored four number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart – which includes all genres – starting with “(Hot S**t) Country Grammar” in 2000.
The deal means Dame’s “Dame Dash Studios” will be responsible for curating film, TV, and digital content while “Homestead” will manage the global distribution for the films acquired under the partnership.
Dame’s credentials in the entertainment industry are indisputable. From co-founding “Roc-a-Fella Records” with Jay-Z and Biggs Burke to producing Lee Daniels first two movies, “The Woodsman” and “Shadow Boxer,” the music business executive and entrepreneur has done it all. He’s also made his presence felt in Hollywood not only as a producer but writer, director, and actor too.
Speaking on the need for the partnership Dame said, “I have always spoken about the importance of Black ownership in the entertainment industry and how Black businesses need to be involved in every part of the process in both the music and film business.”
“Homestead Entertainment” brings its distribution capabilities, data, infrastructure, and relationships with exhibitors, networks, and streaming platforms to the table. Dame Dash Studios brings the brand, celebrity profile, relationships with content creators, social media following, and production capabilities to acquire, create and promote new content.
“Homestead was founded on the premise that talented filmmakers of color are often not presented with the same opportunities to share their art with the world,” said Sean Armstrong, Principal of Homestead Entertainment. “Our partnership will allow us to further amplify diverse voices.
