Diddy Ordered To Handover Dirty Videos & Cash To Feds

Diddy handed over a collection of tapes and digital devices to federal authorities in New York as part of his sentence in a federal sex trafficking case, according to court filings.

The materials, which include a set labeled “Ibiza Tapes,” were seized during March 2024 raids on Combs’ properties and are now in the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The list of items includes hard drives, USB sticks, iPads, iPhones and several laptops. Federal agents also recovered $9,000 in cash from Combs’ suite at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan, where he had been staying before his September 2024 arrest.

Prosecutors allege the seized materials were “property used or intended to be used” in relation to the prostitution charges that led to Combs’ conviction in July. The “Ibiza Tapes,” filmed on a Sony DVCAM in 1996, are believed to be part of a broader scheme in which Combs recruited male escorts for private sex parties he called “freak-offs.”

Witnesses testified that Combs, 55, often observed and recorded the encounters without participating. The parties allegedly involved drugs and were held in various locations, including during his trips to Ibiza, Spain—a destination known for its nightlife and where Combs performed in 2010 alongside then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Testimony from Cassie Ventura and Another Woman

Ventura and another woman testified that Combs used threats of leaking sex tapes to pressure them into taking part in acts with male escorts. Both women said they feared retaliation if they refused.

The two-month trial ended with a partial verdict. Jurors acquitted Combs on coercion charges but found him guilty on several other counts connected to the prostitution scheme. His attorneys argued that the relationships were consensual but acknowledged they were abusive.

U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced Combs to approximately four years in prison, significantly less than the 11 years prosecutors requested and below the sentencing guidelines of six to seven years.

During the proceedings, Combs attempted to dismiss the case by calling himself an “amateur p### director” and claimed his recordings were protected under the First Amendment. The court rejected that argument.

He is currently preparing to appeal the conviction to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. The Bad Boy Records founder has faced a growing number of legal challenges in recent years, including civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct.

Mario Curses Out Cameraman Mid-Song In Viral Onstage Rant

Mario halted his set at The Big Fresno Fair over the weekend and unleashed a profanity-laced demand at a cameraman mid-performance, igniting a wave of criticism online.

While singing his 2007 hit “Crying Out For Me,” the R&B singer suddenly locked eyes with a camera operator on stage and shouted, “Ay, you gotta get the f### off the stage.”

The moment, caught on video, quickly spread across social media platforms.

The cameraman, later identified as Ryan Hudgins, began stepping back but didn’t move fast enough for Mario’s liking.

The singer repeated the command, more forcefully, before Hudgins finally exited the stage.

The clip has since gone viral, with many viewers calling out Mario’s tone and timing, especially given the modest crowd size at the outdoor fair.

One user wrote, “Acting this high and mighty while performing at a shopping center parking lot is wild.” Another added, “bro only had 30 people watching him…well 29 now.”

Despite the onstage tension, Hudgins later posted a recap of his night on Instagram, writing, “How the night ended in comparison to how it began.” He thanked the promoter and praised the artists and their crews, noting, “Even @marioworldwide team and security were respectful.”

A post shared by Ryan Hudgins (@the_airup_there22)

That remark suggests the issue may have been isolated to Mario himself, not his staff. Hudgins didn’t appear to hold a grudge, but the internet wasn’t as forgiving.

As of now, Mario hasn’t addressed the situation publicly.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper is also preparing for a new chapter in her personal life. She is expecting a child with Stefon Diggs, wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills. She already shares three children with Offset, her former partner and fellow Hip-Hop artist.

Wendy Williams Slams Her $25K Living Facility As A “Dump”

Wendy Williams Criticized Her Assisted Living Facility

Wendy Williams didn’t hold back when describing her current living situation at Coterie Hudson Yards in Manhattan, calling the $25,800-per-month assisted living facility a “dump” in a phone interview with The Cut. The former daytime TV personality, 60, currently resides on the memory care floor of the upscale residence, which she says feels more like confinement than comfort.

“Did you see the people? The elderly people? Why do I want to look at that? This is a f—-d-up situation,” Williams said. “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve asked that I be moved from this floor.”

Despite the facility’s marble floors, fresh flowers, crystal chandeliers and private amenities, Williams said she’s unhappy and wants out.

Locked In and Cut Off

Williams has lived under court-appointed guardianship since 2022. Her current floor is secured, meaning she can’t leave without approval from both the facility and her guardian. She also has no access to a personal cell phone and can only make outbound calls from a landline.

After reportedly drinking heavily at the building’s penthouse restaurant during her birthday in July, Williams was relocated from a third-floor unit with large windows to the locked memory care floor. The new area lacks stoves, refrigerators and door locks for safety reasons. According to The Cut, the hallway smells like Febreze.

Health Diagnosis Disputed

In February, Williams’ team announced she had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and progressive aphasia. But she has denied the diagnosis and insists she remains mentally sharp.

Her attorney, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ, “She’s the same Wendy Williams that you know from TV. She’s a person who’s in control of her faculties and is a great human being.”

Tacopina strongly criticized the guardianship system, calling it “basically, incarceration.” He added, “This whole thing is about money, money, money, money,” and said the process was “despicably slow.”

Documents show Williams’ estate pays for her guardian Sabrina Morrissey’s services, a $10,000 monthly retainer for her personal lawyer and various legal fees. In 2024, attorneys raised concerns about her finances after Morrissey sold her 2,400-square-foot condo at a loss and gave away her two cats.

Her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, filed a $250 million lawsuit in June to end the guardianship, calling it “fraudulent bondage.” He also accused the presiding judge of being “crooked.” Hunter, who previously received $37,500 per month in alimony, saw those payments stop when the guardianship began. A judge dismissed his case on October 9, but he has the option to refile.

Williams and Hunter divorced in 2019 after she discovered he had a child with another woman during their 21-year marriage.

Public Appearances and Support

Despite her restricted living conditions, Williams has made a few appearances in public. She attended New York Fashion Week in September and told The Cut, “You know I’ve been out. So obviously I do go out.” She also attends a Brooklyn megachurch, which she said “gives me faith and keeps me very well in touch with God and myself.”

Her longtime friend Max Tucci, owner of the Manhattan restaurant Tucci, supported her claims about the facility. “This is, like, where billionaires send their grandmothers. But, you know, she doesn’t need it. Wendy doesn’t lie,” he said.

Son Speaks Out

Williams’ 25-year-old son, Kevin Hunter Jr., told The Cut he’s trying to stay out of the legal mess while focusing on his own life. “I’m really not trying to be too caught up in this. I’m trying to build, carve out my own path right now, away from everything. I just want her to get out of this. Because it’s not right,” he said.

Medical Review Pending

A new medical evaluation is expected in the coming weeks. Based on the findings, the judge could either maintain the current guardianship, ease restrictions, appoint a different guardian or end the arrangement altogether. However, sources close to the case say a full termination remains unlikely.

New Bad Bunny Controversy Over “God Bless America” Has MAGA Seeing Red

Bad Bunny Remained Seated During Patriotic Song at Yankee Stadium

Bad Bunny stayed seated during “God Bless America” at Yankee Stadium on October 10, drawing political attention just months before his scheduled Super Bowl halftime performance.

The Puerto Rican rapper and global chart-topper was spotted during the Yankees’ home playoff game against the Toronto Blue Jays by baseball superfan Laurence Leavy, known as “Marlins Man.” Leavy, seated two spots away, posted about the moment on social media.

“Yes, Bad Bunny was sitting and did not stand during God Bless America,” Leavy wrote. “I don’t agree but it’s his right AS AN AMERICAN to so choose.”

Manager Declined Request to Stand

According to Leavy, he approached the artist’s team during the game and asked if Bad Bunny would consider standing. The manager declined, citing political reasons.

“Mad at Trump for saying he’s is Latin and not an American. He thinks Trump doesn’t know Puerto Rico is in USA,” Leavy posted, recounting the exchange.

Despite the disagreement, Leavy described the reggaeton star as respectful. “He is super nice and humble,” he added. “Wish him the best.”

Trump Criticized Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Role

The moment at Yankee Stadium comes as Bad Bunny faces criticism over his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. Former President Donald Trump commented on the booking during a Newsmax interview, saying, “I never heard of him, I don’t know who he is, I don’t know why they’re doing it.”

The 31-year-old artist has been vocal about his political views and has previously altered his tour plans over concerns related to immigration enforcement. In an interview with Variety, he explained why he skipped U.S. cities during his tour.

“There was the issue of — like, f****** ICE could be outside (my concert),” he said. “And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

He suggested that people could travel to Puerto Rico or other countries to attend his shows.

Conservative Group Plans Alternative Halftime Show

The Super Bowl controversy has prompted a response from conservative organization Turning Point USA. The group announced it will host an “All American Halftime Show” during the NFL championship broadcast, promoting “faith, family and freedom” as a counter-program to Bad Bunny’s performance.

Bad Bunny addressed the backlash during a recent Saturday Night Live appearance, saying he was “very excited” about the upcoming show.

His decision not to stand during “God Bless America” adds to his ongoing efforts to highlight Puerto Rican identity and issues affecting the Latino community.

The Yankees hosted the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium on October 10.

Man Tries To Put Out Martin Luther King’s Eternal Flame By Taking A Leak On It, Sent To Jail

A man in Atlanta tried to extinguish Martin Luther King Jr.’s Eternal Flame by urinating on it at the King Center in Atlanta and now faces a stack of criminal charges.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Brent Jones at 4:30 A.M. Saturday after responding to a trespassing call at the historic site on Auburn Avenue. Police say they found Jones urinating in the reflecting pool near the tomb of Dr. King and Coretta Scott King.

According to arrest warrants, Jones caused nearly $3,000 in damage. He “began damaging the property further” when asked to leave “by urinating into the reflection pool at The King Center, where Dr. Martin Luther King and Ms. Coretta Scott King were laid to rest.”

Authorities say Jones didn’t stop there. He “also damaged the eternal flame at the location that is a memorial site for Dr. King Jr.” by urinating on it “to put it out.” Officers added that he was “stomping on the Eternal Flame, causing significant damage.”

The flame, which burns continuously, represents Dr. King’s vision of peace and equality. As described on the King Center’s website, it “symbolizes the continuing effort to realize Dr. King’s dream of the ‘Beloved Community.’”

The arrest report says Jones climbed into the flame’s pot and “stood in the pot damaging it” after ignoring orders to leave the restricted area. He also “proceeded to scatter the documents that were on the memorial podium for Dr. King Jr.”

Security tried to intervene, but Jones began attempting to fight the on-site guard. Once in handcuffs, he managed to slip out of his restraints and resisted officers during the arrest.

While in custody at the precinct, Jones allegedly “attempted to expose himself and urinate” again, leading to an additional public indecency charge.

He now faces charges including second-degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, public indecency and obstruction of law enforcement. He was booked into Fulton County Jail.

The King Center later described the incident as “minor,” without offering further comment on repairs or security changes.

This act follows another troubling incident in 2023 when a woman was arrested for allegedly trying to set fire to Dr. King’s birth home.

The King Center, a national landmark, draws thousands of visitors each year who come to honor the legacy of the civil rights icon and his wife.

Eminem To Become A Pop Pop Again, Haile Jade Reacts To News

Eminem’s daughter Alaina Scott revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Matt Moeller, making the rap star a grandfather for the second time and expanding his growing family.

Scott shared the announcement on Sunday on Instagram, posting a series of images that included a “Baby Moeller” onesie and a surprise reveal at their under-construction home.

One photo showed Scott leading Moeller, blindfolded, into a room filled with gold “Baby M” balloons. Inside, she presented him with baby sneakers and a positive pregnancy test.

“For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way,” Scott wrote in her caption. “There’s something indescribable about knowing there’s a little life growing, dreaming, and becoming, all while you go about your day, whispering prayers and hopes only they can hear. I’ve never felt more grateful for this gift and to grow our family, something we’ve wanted for so long. Thank you God for this blessing. Baby M, we can’t wait to meet you, little one.”

Her sister Hailie Jade Scott quickly commented on the post, writing, “Sooo happy for you guys. Can’t wait to be this little one’s auntie & elliot is so excited to meet his cousin.”

The news comes just months after Hailie Jade welcomed her first child with husband Evan McClintock. Their son, Elliot Marshall McClintock, was born on March 14, 2025. His middle name pays tribute to his grandfather, whose full name is Marshall Mathers.

Alaina is the biological daughter of Dawn Scott, the twin sister of Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott. Eminem adopted Alaina in the early 2000s after Dawn struggled with drug addiction. Dawn died in 2016 from a suspected overdose.

Eminem has often referred to Alaina as “Lainey” in his lyrics and has spoken publicly about raising her alongside his biological daughter Hailie and adopted child Stevie Laine.

In June 2023, Alaina married Moeller in a lavish ceremony that included an 80-foot aisle lined with thousands of white roses. Eminem walked her down the aisle during the flapper-themed celebration.

Eminem has consistently emphasized the importance of his children in interviews and songs. He has credited them as a major influence on his sobriety and career focus.

Both Alaina and Hailie Jade have kept relatively low profiles, occasionally sharing updates on social media but largely avoiding the spotlight that comes with their father’s fame.

Man Sentenced To Prison After Dangerous Nail Attacks On Trump Voters

Bucks County Man Jailed for Politically Charged Harassment Campaign

Alaric Dalberg received a jail sentence in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, after admitting to a months-long campaign of harassment aimed at supporters of former President Donald Trump. The 64-year-old Yardley resident pleaded guilty to stalking, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, and was sentenced Tuesday to serve between two and 23 months in the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Dalberg’s sentence, handed down by Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr., also includes 36 months of probation, a $1,000 fine, 100 hours of community service unrelated to politics and restitution to victims.

Nails in Driveways and Surveillance Footage

Between October 2024 and February 2025, Dalberg repeatedly targeted homes in Lower Makefield Township that displayed pro-Trump signs. He scattered nails and screws in driveways and, in one case, stalked a grocery store employee after a political argument.

Investigators used surveillance video and physical evidence to link Dalberg to the incidents. Police found a stash of nails in his vehicle. During questioning, Dalberg admitted to collecting the nails to target what he referred to as “Trumpers.”

Victims Describe Fear and Damage

One of the victims, Lisa Mason, said a mechanic warned her that a nail found in her tire could have caused a blowout on the highway. “It’s really sad that you have to wake up in the morning with a flashlight and look for nails and screws,” Mason told NBC10 Philadelphia.

Another victim, Sandra Liberato, said Dalberg followed her from her home to her workplace. Surveillance footage later captured him throwing debris near her car. Investigators matched his grocery store loyalty card to the time of the incident.

Liberato helped prosecutors build their case by collecting and labeling the nails and screws she discovered near her property.

Judge and Prosecutors Condemn the Behavior

Judge Bateman called Dalberg’s actions intentional and dangerous. “It was not an aberration,” he said. “Just because you disagree with their political views or personal views, do you decide to victimize them? It’s completely, unequivocally unacceptable to me.”

Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn also issued a statement condemning the politically motivated behavior. “People who think they are justified in engaging in criminal activity because the ends justify the means will have a dose of reality if they choose to engage in crimes in Bucks County,” she said. “It is plain and simple, we will not tolerate politically motivated violence or threats of violence, ever.”

Additional Penalties and Restrictions

Dalberg is prohibited from contacting the grocery store employee he targeted. His sentence also requires him to reimburse victims for any damage caused by his actions.

Dalberg waived his preliminary hearing and proceeded directly to Common Pleas Court. His sentencing comes amid a rise in politically motivated crimes following the 2024 presidential election.

He was sentenced on Tuesday.

Busta Rhymes Denies Assaulting Ex-Assistant Or Making Employee Unclog Toilet With Hand In Defamation Countersuit

Busta Rhymes has formally denied accusations of assault and workplace abuse made by a former assistant, calling the claims false and retaliatory in a newly filed defamation countersuit.

In a response filed today (October 13) in Brooklyn federal court, the Hip-Hop icon and his company, Starbus LLC, rejected all key allegations made by Dashiel Gables, a former assistant who sued earlier this year.

Gables claimed he was physically attacked, underpaid, and blacklisted after working for the rapper between July 2024 and January 2025.

Busta’s legal team acknowledged Gables’ employment and $1,500-per-week salary but denied any wrongdoing. The filing disputes Gables’ claim that Busta Rhymes punched him in a Brooklyn lobby in January 2025, stating the two were present but that the alleged assault never occurred.

Following the incident, Gables said he sought medical treatment for facial injuries and filed a police report. Busta Rhymes later turned himself in and was charged with third-degree assault.

Gables’ lawsuit seeks $6 to $7 million in damages for unpaid wages, emotional distress, and physical harm.

The response also challenges Gables’ claims of wage theft, arguing he was not legally classified as an employee and was paid appropriately under the law.

Busta’s attorneys filed a countersuit for defamation, accusing Gables of deliberately spreading false and damaging claims to media outlets and at a public press conference.

Gables described a hostile work environment that included verbal insults, physical intimidation, and degrading tasks unrelated to job duties.

Among the most disturbing claims is an incident where another assistant was allegedly forced to unclog a toilet with his bare hand after the rapper said it wasn’t cleaned properly – allegations the rapper flatly denies.

“The foregoing statements are statements of purported fact, not opinion or protected rhetorical hyperbole, and they are false. [Busta Rhymes] did not assault or batter Gables, did not ‘routinely assault’ or spit on employees, did not make the alleged threats, and did not commit the other wrongful acts asserted as facts by Gables,” Busta Rhymes’ attorney J. Patrick Butler wrote in the filing.

The countersuit argues that Gables’ statements were made with “actual malice” and have caused serious harm to the rap star’s reputation and business opportunities.

“At the time he made or caused the Publications, Gables knew the statements were false, or acted with reckless disregard for the truth, including by fabricating allegations of criminal conduct and violence, omitting exculpatory facts, and deliberately ignoring contrary evidence. At a minimum, Gables acted negligently in ascertaining the truth,” Butler added.

Busta Rhymes is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, reimbursement of legal fees, and a court-ordered retraction of the statements.

EXCLUSIVE: Rod Wave Alleges Bribes, Botched Shows & Breaches In Blistering Reply In Fight Over $27M

Rod Wave is pushing back hard in court, accusing concert promoter Grizzly Touring of bribery, mismanagement and contract violations in a heated dispute over $27 million tied to his 2024 “Last Lap” arena tour.

The Florida rapper filed a scathing legal response denying all liability and claiming Grizzly breached their agreement first. He alleges the promoter tried to coerce him into what he called “indentured servitude” through secret contract terms and failed tour logistics.

“Following a failed attempt by Grizzly’s parent company at bribing Rod Wave’s former agent with under-the-table payments to gain the exclusive right to Rod Wave’s next five tours, Grizzly’s lawsuit represents an improper effort to force Rod Wave to specifically perform a personal services contract for Grizzly against his will,” Rod Wave’s lawyer James G. Sammataro snarled.

At the center of the clash is a failed tour deal that Grizzly says left them holding the bag after Rod Wave canceled nine of 35 scheduled shows.

The promoter claims it advanced over $57 million to cover performance fees and production costs, only for the rapper to abandon nearly a third of the tour.

Grizzly asserts it guaranteed Rod Wave $40.25 million for the full tour and that he used a portion of the funds to purchase luxury properties and charter private flights.

The company is seeking damages, lost profits and a court order to block him from promoting future tours independently.

The promoter also accuses Rod Wave of violating an exclusivity clause by announcing new solo shows through his own company, Hit House Entertainment. Grizzly argues this move directly breached their agreement and undermined the tour.

Rod Wave’s legal team paints a different picture.

In his response, he claims Grizzly and its production partner, 360 Production, rescheduled shows without his approval, causing logistical chaos and damaging his brand. He says those decisions—not his actions—led to the tour’s collapse.

He also disputes the $27 million figure, arguing it’s inflated and not supported by the terms of their contract. According to his filing, he already earned nearly $30 million from the shows he completed and has no legal duty to return any unused advances.

Rod Wave further argues that the exclusivity and “right of first refusal” clauses are unenforceable under Florida law, especially since Grizzly allegedly failed to uphold its end of the deal.

The most serious allegation in his filing involves an alleged bribery attempt. Rod Wave claims Grizzly tried to insert unauthorized contract terms by offering his agent secret payments.

He says the maneuver failed, and the lawsuit is a retaliatory effort to trap him in a one-sided business arrangement.

He and Hit House Entertainment are now seeking to void the entire agreement and block any future obligations tied to the failed tour.

Rapper Armani White Busted For Dancing In The Middle Of I-75 In Kentucky

Rapper Armani White was arrested in Kentucky after police say the chart-topping rapper shut down part of Interstate 75 to film a music video in the middle of traffic.

Officers from the London Police Department responded to a series of 911 calls reporting that White was seen climbing onto the concrete median of I-75 and dancing while his crew recorded the scene.

The Philadelphia artist was taken into custody Sunday night in Laurel County and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and illegally stopping on a limited access highway, according to police records.

He was booked at the Laurel County Correctional Center and later released. The incident occurred while the 26-year-old was on the road supporting T-Pain’s current tour.

White shot to stardom in 2022 with the viral hit “Billie Eilish,” a track that flipped N.O.R.E.’s 2002 classic “Nothin” into a social media juggernaut. A 16-second teaser clip posted to Instagram and TikTok in February 2022 helped launch the song into global popularity.

The track exploded across platforms, racking up over 60 million streams and generating more than 41 billion views on TikTok. That momentum led to a record deal with Def Jam in July 2022.

In August 2023, Billie Eilish herself acknowledged the viral tribute by inviting White on stage during one of her shows.

South London Rapper Giggs Brings Out JME During NFL London Series

Giggs brought a heavy dose of South London grit to the NFL’s London Series on Sunday (October 12), performing at halftime of the New York Jets and Denver Broncos game held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Denver Broncos edged out the Jets 13-11, but it was the South London MC who stole the spotlight.

The halftime show hit its peak when Giggs surprised the crowd by bringing out JME, who delivered his hit track “Man Don’t Care” to a roaring crowd.

“It’s a huge moment to be a part of the London Games,” Giggs said. “I’ve been on a journey with my music, and to get to share that with my city and the NFL fans is something I’m really proud of.”

Known for his deep voice and raw delivery, Giggs has been a fixture in UK Hip-Hop since his 2007 breakout with “Talkin’ da Hardest.” That track still resonates today—Cleveland Browns players were recently caught vibing to it in the locker room.

The NFL has leaned into music to boost its global appeal, using halftime performances to connect with local audiences.

Just one day before the Jets-Broncos game, the NFL hosted its Creator Flag Football Game at Copper Box Arena. Gunna and British rapper Aitch served as celebrity captains, leading teams stacked with NFL legends, influencers and entertainers.

The NFL’s London Series this year includes three regular-season games: Vikings vs Browns on October 5, Jets vs Broncos on October 12 and Rams vs Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on October 19.

Last week, British singer Raye performed during halftime, continuing the league’s push to localize entertainment for international audiences.

Donald Trump Decides He Probably Isn’t “Heaven-Bound” During Flight To Israel

Donald Trump shared a moment of reflection aboard Air Force One en route to Israel Sunday night (October 12), admitting he may not be destined for heaven despite his recent diplomatic efforts.

“I’m being a little cute,” Trump told reporters during the flight, adding, “I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven. I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound.”

Trump was responding to a question about whether his involvement in brokering a ceasefire deal and facilitating a major hostage release might improve his spiritual résumé.

“I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One,” Trump added. “I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”

Trump’s remarks came just ahead of his arrival in Israel on Monday (October 13), where he marked the release of 20 Israeli hostages from Gaza.

The agreement, which ended over two years of captivity, also included the return of the bodies of deceased captives. In exchange, Israel agreed to release approximately 1,700 Palestinian prisoners.

Trump’s comments marked a noticeable shift from his earlier tone during an August interview with Fox & Friends, where he said, “If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I think that’s pretty… I want to try to get to heaven if possible.”

He also acknowledged his spiritual standing during that same interview, saying, “I’m hearing that I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole. But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons.”

The trip to Israel follows a fragile ceasefire in the region and a rare moment of international cooperation.

Inside the Handmade Universe of Dolo Tonight

Dolo Tonight, born Jonah Elias Rindner, is an American indie rock artist signed to Epitaph Records whose music and aesthetic combine narrative concepts, pastel visuals, and eccentric lyricism into a world of their own. His work reflects the influence of surrealist cartoons, VHS-era nostalgia, and absurdist comedy, placing him in a lineage of artists who have treated music as immersive storytelling.

Raised in Watchung, New Jersey, Rindner was drawn early to shows like The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Adventure Time, and The Amazing World of Gumball. He also absorbed the surrealist humor of Adult Swim programs such as The Eric Andre Show and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. These influences shaped his approach to music as something unpredictable, cartoonish, and slightly chaotic, using humor and surrealism as creative tools.

His fascination with physical media culture also informs his work. Bootleg VHS tapes, second-hand DVDs, and retro television shows serve as touchstones for his 2025 debut album on Epitaph, DVD Rental Store. Designed as a concept project, the record was structured to resemble a cinematic rental-store collection, with interludes, skits, and callbacks tying the songs together into one larger narrative. Each track was built around its own story, with characters, costumes, and imagery created to exist within the same surreal world.

Before the album, Dolo released the single Stranger Things in 2024. Its music video featured a giant papier-mâché head as a visual centerpiece, setting the stage for the surreal handmade aesthetic that would define his later work.

The album rollout emphasized collaborative and DIY artistry. Dolo enlisted close friends to construct costumes and props by hand, many of them inspired by bootlegged Japanese films and early-2000s television aesthetics. This approach gave each video and visual its own distinct texture while keeping the entire project unified as part of the same cartoon-like universe.

Hate You Now and Hotel on Your Heart, released as singles in 2025, carried this aesthetic into their video treatments, staged with colorful, handmade costumes and VHS-inspired imagery. When the full album arrived later that year, Two Pens emerged as its focus track, presenting friendship through eccentric lyrics and pastel cartoon visuals. Live Your Life balanced a straightforward melodic hook with surreal imagery and became Dolo Tonight’s first track to enter the UK’s Official Singles Downloads Chart.

The sound of DVD Rental Store was shaped by producer Ryan Spraker and mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone. Together they created a hybrid style that merged pop hooks with indie rock instrumentation, designed to support the cinematic and conceptual qualities of the album.

Visually, Dolo Tonight’s presence reinforces the same ethos. Known for his bright pastel clothing, he often favors outfits that feel nostalgic and friendly, reminiscent of a 2000s-era art teacher. The style is comfortable yet expressive, playful yet approachable, and it reflects the same happy, colorful energy that runs through his music. His curly hair and easygoing aesthetic contribute to the overall identity of the project, positioning his look as part of the same cartoon-inspired world.

Although he is not the first artist to construct a fictional universe around his music, Dolo Tonight approaches it through a distinctive blend of indie rock, cartoon surrealism, and DIY aesthetics. Each song on DVD Rental Store was designed to function as a character-driven story, while the visuals expanded those stories into living imagery. Taken together, his catalog represents an attempt to create a cartoon-inspired, VHS-era world in music form, one that positions him as part of a contemporary wave of artists treating records not just as collections of songs but as expansive universes of their own.

De La Soul Confirms New Album Title Amid “Legend Has It” Series Rollout

De La Soul is one of the trailblazing Hip-Hop acts scheduled to release a new album this year as part of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It series.

Speaking to AllHipHop last month, Maseo revealed the album’s title is Cabin in the Sky. The project will include posthumous contributions from De La Soul co-founder Trugoy the Dove, who died suddenly in February 2023.

Posdnous and Maseo confirmed the title in a recent panel alongside Slick Rick, Ghostface Killah, Nas and other Legend Has It artists while talking about the spiritual nature of the project.

“Normally when you’re working on an album, you let the title come to you,” Pos said. “At one point it was like De La’s new album, and we’re working, working and I come across this movie, and I was like, ‘Yo, this title is crazy, cabin in the sky.’ Immediately, I was like, ‘Dave.'”

Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It series is a celebration of New York Hip-Hop most cherished acts, with each project designed to honor the lasting cultural impact of legendary rap figures. Announced in April, the label promised to roll out seven new albums from a lineup that reads like a hall of fame: Nas & DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Raekwon, Big L, De La Soul and Slick Rick, along with the “epic return” of a surprise guest.

In addition to music, Mass Appeal has teamed with Marvel to produce a special comic book series reimagining each artist as superheroes—debuting at Comic Con in October and further blending music, narrative and visual artistry.

Several albums in the Legend Has It series have already been released in 2025. Among them are Slick Rick’s first album in 26 years, Victory; Ghostface Killah’s highly anticipated Supreme Clientele 2, Raekwon’s The Emperor’s New Clothes and Mobb Deep’s Infinite.

Upcoming releases include Nas & DJ Premier’s deeply-awaited collaborative album, posthumous tributes from Big L and, of course, De La Soul. The series doubled down on Mass Appeal’s mission to “preserve the past, celebrate the present, and push Hip-Hop into the future,” ensuring these trailblazers’ legacies remain vibrant.

The Cool Kids Unleash Dynamic New Comeback Album “Hi Top Fade”

Chuck Inglish and Sir Mikey Rocks, collectively known as The Cool Kids, dropped their latest album, Hi Top Fade, on Friday (October 10).

Released by A-Trak’s label, Fool’s Gold, the 15-track effort is a return to the duo’s signature retro yet futuristic boom bap flavor. The first single from the album, “Banana in the Tailpipe” featuring Seafood Sam arrived in July, “Foil Bass” followed in August and “95 South” featuring A-Trak and Sango dropped last month along with a video.

For the visual, The Cool Kids tapped GL-Joe to direct, the same videographer who shot “Black Mags” in 2007.

Hi Top Fade marks The Cool Kids’ first project since their triple album Before S### Got Weird (Chapter 1)Baby Oil Staircase (Chapter 2) and Chillout (Chapter 3).

Speaking to SPIN in September, Mikey and Chuck reflected on all of the challenges they had to overcome to get to the point where they were ready to make another Cool Kids album. Despite everything they went through both personally and professionally, their friendship never wavered. It was that bond that has carried them through the last nearly two decades of making music together.

“We got ravaged by a lot of things,” Mikey said. “We were victims of predatory industry stuff. We are victims of not knowing how to navigate through this business with the type of people that you have to deal with in the music industry. We were just kids who made good music. We saw other artists stealing our ideas and record labels stealing our money. It was tough.

“But the thing that would take us back to a place of alignment and balance was when we would get together. And that didn’t even have to be for a recording or musical reason—just together anywhere in the same space. That’s where we figured out just how strong our friendship actually was.”

Their chemistry is as strong as ever throughout the entirety of Hi Top Fade. Coupled with collaborations with A-Trak, Sango, Seafood Sam and more, it’s a wild ride from start to finish. Standouts include “Banana in the Tailpipe,” “Foil Bass,” “Live Wire,” “Dang…” just listen to it.

Megan Thee Stallion Breaks Down Sharing Her Mental Health Journey With Taraji P. Henson

Megan Thee Stallion broke down in tears while speaking about grief and depression during the “i AM The Table” Benefit Brunch hosted by Taraji P. Henson on Sunday (October 12) at National Harbor, Maryland, revealing she was frightened by the depth of her own sadness and turned to therapy to survive.

The Grammy-winning rapper and philanthropist opened up during an emotional conversation with Henson at the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation’s inaugural brunch, which capped off the 5th Annual “Can We Talk?” Multicultural Arts & Wellness Summit.

The event coincided with World Mental Health Day and aimed to raise awareness and support for mental wellness in underserved communities.

“Through all of that grief, I was just working and trying to be the best Megan I could be,” Megan said, her voice cracking as she paused to collect herself. “And I didn’t know I needed therapy until one day, I was just like, Damn, I’m really sad, and it’s really scary how sad I am.”

The rapper revealed the pain that pushed her to seek help. “And it was, it was like, I didn’t care what happened to me,” she continued. “And I didn’t want to feel like that, like I should care about my life.”

Megan’s emotional admission came as she reflected on the years following the death of her mother and manager, Holly Thomas, who died in 2019 from a brain tumor.

That loss left Megan reeling, both personally and professionally, a struggle she later explored in her 2024 Prime Video documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words.

After her mother’s passing, Megan battled depression, suicidal thoughts and a collapse in self-worth.

The trauma was compounded by the 2020 shooting involving Tory Lanez, which further strained her mental health and led her to prioritize therapy as a form of recovery.

UK Drill Rapper Charged With Killing Convicted Child Offender Ian Watkins In Prison

Broadday, the UK drill rapper born Rashid Gedel, was charged with the murder of disgraced former Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins, who was fatally stabbed inside HMP Wakefield, a maximum-security prison in West Yorkshire, on Saturday morning.

The 25-year-old rapper and another inmate, 43-year-old Samuel Dodsworth, appeared in Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Monday (October 12). Both confirmed their names but entered no pleas, BBC News reports.

The pair were remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear before a Crown Court judge at a later date.

Watkins, once a chart-topping rock singer, was serving a 29-year sentence for a string of child sex crimes, including the attempted rape of a baby.

He was convicted in 2013 and branded a “dangerous sexual predator” by prosecutors and the public alike.

The fatal attack took place inside Wakefield Prison—often referred to as “Monster Mansion” due to its population of high-risk offenders.

Following the stabbing, the facility was locked down as authorities launched an investigation into the killing and reviewed internal security protocols.

This wasn’t Watkins’ first brush with violence behind bars. In 2023, he survived another assault that left him with minor injuries.

Broadday’s latest charge adds to his already lengthy rap sheet. In August 2023, he was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the 2021 stabbing death of Sven Badzak, a 22-year-old aspiring lawyer.

That attack, which took place in Kilburn, northwest London, was reportedly a case of mistaken identity.

Gedel and co-defendant Shiroh Ambersley were part of a six-man group that targeted the wrong person in what police described as a gang-style ambush.

Badzak was stabbed multiple times and collapsed before dying at the scene. His 16-year-old friend also suffered several stab wounds but managed to escape and seek help at a nearby store.

Gedel and Ambersley were each handed life sentences with a minimum term of 27 years for Badzak’s murder.
