(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper celebrated his first wedding anniversary by staging a Chicago, Illinois radio takeover with an hour full of love songs dedicated to his wife.
He shared the romantic radio programming with fans via Instagram, posting a photo of the couple from its wedding day alongside the news of the “commercial-free hour dedicated to Kirsten” on hip-hop and R&B station 107.5 WGCI.
Chance captioned the image: “Love songs from me to you babe. I love you forever. You make me special. Thank you.”
He also gave fans a glimpse at the way he had decorated the couple’s Chicago home, covering the apartment with red rose petals, while also gifting Kirsten with large bouquets of the flower.
Chance later posted video footage of a private dinner he had also organized for the loved-up pair.
Meanwhile, Kirsten, who shares two young daughters with Chance, gushed about her man in a sweet tribute on her Instagram page.
“1 year down and FOREBBER TO GO! I love you…,” she wrote beside a snap of the two walking back up the aisle after becoming husband and wife. “today has already been the most special… I got your back and your front till the end of time. #nevaend.”
He further claims (cause we could stop there but we can’t) that she is making him fear for his life. This is not the first time Future has expressed his concern about Eliza’s mental state.
But Eliza Reign is no victim and has her own tricks up her sleeve. She has filed her own documents, asking the courts to deny Future this mental evaluation that he seeks.
I can just see the damn feathers clucking.
Many believe that this recent flurry of litigation stems from her recent interview with Rah Ali. Others point to Lori Harvey wearing jewelry that had everyone thinking they were engaged.
Oh… Someone is crazy alright. Someone is indeed crazy.
(AllHipHop News) Jonathan “DaBaby” Kirk recently mocked a violent incident that took place at his event in Tampa on Saturday. After apologizing for slapping a female fan inside the Whiskey North club, the rapper took part in a skit with Michael Blackson that made fun of the situation.
Tyronesha Laws, the woman that was allegedly slapped by DaBaby, did not find the jokes funny. While speaking to TMZ, sheblasted the “Bop” performer for seemingly proving he did not really feel any remorse about hitting her over the weekend.
“I don’t feel like he was sincere with the apology. I was embarrassed,” said Laws. “I had people calling me, writing me on Instagram through fake pages. People seeing me at my job saying, ‘You’re the girl that got slapped.'”
She added, “My daughter wakes up in the middle of the night crying overhearing me on the phone with my lawyer talking about the situation. It’s hateful.” Discussions between Laws and Kirk’s respective legal teams are said to be taking place.
Originally, DaBaby suggested he was acting in self-defense because he was just reacting to being struck with a cellphone by someone in the crowd. According to Tyronesha, she was attacked for no reason because it was another person that actually pressed the phone to DaBaby’s face that night.
(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill has spent the last few years advocating for criminal justice reform as a co-chair of the REFORM Alliance. The Philadephia-bred entertainer is now questioning if law enforcement is purposely targeting him.
“Searching the jet againnnnnn ♂️somebody calling them, gotta be looking for drugs on us! That’s [an] insult,” wrote Meek on his Instagram Story on Tuesday night.
This is the second time in less than a week that officials searched the airplane Meek and his entourage used to travel to and from the Caribbean. The Championships album creator claimed he was being racially profiled in the previous incident.
“How many times we gotta be searched being black, man? I be telling them, ‘The least y’all could do is give us an explanation for being searched.’ Y’all already know we black. We be getting searched too much,” stated Meek in his IG Story posted over the weekend.

Plus, Hov’s only current likes on Twitter were for Electronica’s February tweets about the A Written Testimony album.
(AllHipHop News) As of press time, the number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the United States has reached 1,000. Public events around the country have been canceled, and Italy instituted a total lockdown in response to the medical crisis.
American rapper Cardi B expressed her concern about the possible pandemic to her nearly 60 million Instagram followers. The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker posted a video sharing her thoughts on COVID-19.
“I don’t know what the f*ck this coronavirus is about. I don’t understand how that sh*t went from Wuhan, China, now all of a sudden, this sh*t is on motherf*cking tour,” stated the Bronx rapstress in the IG clip.
She added, “I ain’t even gonna front. I’m a little scared. Sh*t got me panicking. A lot of you motherf*ckers think it’s a joke… Like I was thinking. But that sh*t right there – just because you think you’re immune to it. Guess what? Your pocket ain’t, b*tch. Because a lot of sh*t comes from motherf*cking China.”
Cardi then connected incoming products from the Asian country to the coronavirus outbreak in the US. The 27-year-old offered, “If you’re wondering why your weave or why your Fashion Nova motherf*ckinh packages haven’t arrived, guess what, b*tch? Coronavirus! I’m telling you, sh*t is getting real!”
(AllHipHop News) As Doja Cat rises up the charts, she is starting to face more criticism from the public. For example, the LA-raised singer/rapper is now facing negative reactions on YouTube.
The video service placed Doja as the cover of its “#WCE” playlist. Some users questioned if her skin was lightened for the photo, and she fired back on Instagram.
“So if you’re stupid as f*ck you probably left a comment under this picture talking about this,” said Doja Cat as she showed what some of the YouTube commenters posted about her appearance.
The “Say So” performer continued, “Hey, how about I’m half-White, not entirely Black. My skin gets very light when I don’t tan. I was staying indoors a lot before that shoot. New f*ckin’ subject, d########.”
(AllHipHop News) Megan Thee Stallion is currently dealing with a legal dispute with her 1501 Certified Entertainment label. However, the rapper continues to produce new content.
Last night, Meg dropped the music video for “Captain Hook.” The clip, which she directed herself, arrived just days after the Houston representative released the “B.I.T.C.H.” MV.
Both tracks live on Thee Stallion’s new EP Suga. Her latest project is currently on pace to debut in the Top 10 with 37,000 – 42,000 first-week units.
In 2019, Megan’s Fever commercial mixtape premiered at #10 on the Billboard 200 chart. It managed to bring in 28,000 album-equivalent units in its opening week.
(AllHipHop Music) The Carolinas have been one of the more talked about regions in Hip Hop last year thanks to the mercurial rise of Da Baby. With that said, the Charlotte native wasn’t the only one putting on for the Carolinas, namely South Carolina newcomer PG RA.
Newly signed to Asylum Records, the emerging emcee is ready to carve out his own niche on a global scale with his distinctive delivery and overall aesthetic.
“PG RA embodies the authenticity forging its way to the forefront of today’s Hip Hop,” says Wayne “Wayno” Clark, VP, A&R for Asylum Records. “While he’s very young, his unique experiences offer a new insight into what the Carolinas represent. He’s creating an exciting, new lane for the next generation of lyricists.”
Having released his debut project, ‘CEO Vol.1’ in 2018, PG RA went on a remarkable run unveiling his follow up EP ‘Up & Boppin’ as well as 2019’s Blowing Candles. The latter went on to be heralded as one of the best independent releases of last year, receiving critical acclaim and organically hitting Apple Music’s Top 100 Album Chart.
As his star continues to rise, PG RA celebrates his first official offering as a member of the Asylum Records family with the release of his autobiographical new single “Made It.”
Produced by GRAMMY-nominated beatsmith Jetsonmade (DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Jack Harlow), the single will live on his forthcoming EP God’s Gift. The introspective track is an ode to the Orangeburg native’s life experiences and a celebration of perseverance. Check out the Young Chang-directed video here.
(AllHipHop News) Pop Smoke’s brother has slammed a fan for taking a photograph of the late rapper’s lifeless body in an open casket at his funeral.
Fans lined the streets of Brooklyn, New York to mourn Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Barakah Jackson, on Thursday, following his death aged just 20 last month after being shot twice during a home invasion in Hollywood Hills, California.
His brother Mike Dee slammed one person attending the memorial for taking photos of the hip-hop star’s dead body.
“Who TF (the f##k) sat in the funeral and took a pic of my brother in the casket?,” he wrote in an Instagram Stories post. “Like n##gas got no life, no morals, why even show up to the funeral if you gonna be on some fan s##t? The f##king world we live in son n##gas wanna sit on social media and do anything to gain clout.”
The intrusion came despite barricades being placed along the pavements of Canarsie, where the funeral took place, to keep fans away.
The “Dior” hitmaker’s death, which was initially reportedly the result of a robbery gone wrong, remains a mystery as no arrests have been made in the case.
(AllHipHop News) British TV watchdog OFCOM has rejected viewer complaints alleging rapper Dave’s performance at the Brit Awards last month was racist against white people.
Quadruple nominee Dave, who took home the British Album of the Year prize for Psychodrama at the ceremony, changed the lyrics to his hit, “Black,” to call U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson a “racist.”
“The truth is our Prime Minister’s a real racist,” he rapped, before criticizing the way mixed-race royal Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is treated by the U.K. media, and name-checking the Grenfell Tower fire and the Windrush scandal – government failures that caused outrage among Britain’s black community.
While 309 complaints were registered with the media organization, following the awards’ broadcast on the ITV network, the watchdog said it was “likely to be within most viewers’ expectations of this well-established awards ceremony.”
They also determined it was “not uncommon for artists to express personal political views during their performances.”
Dave wasn’t the only act to make a political statement during the ceremony – Tyler, the Creator thanked former Prime Minister Theresa May for banning him from the U.K. during his acceptance speech for the International Male Solo Artist prize.
“I wanna give a special shout out to someone who I hold dear to my heart, who made it so I couldn’t come to this country five years ago. I know she’s at home p##sed off. Thank you to Theresa May,” he said, referring to May’s 2015 complaints that his music “encourages violence and intolerance of homosexuality.”
(AllHipHop News) For a minute it looked like the rappers were taking the place of the crazy-ass boxers… now we know that ain’t true either.
It is the mixed martial artists who have snatched the title. All of them are losing their minds, as UFC is starting to dominate sports on a brand new level.
Two weeks ago, we were talking about Deontay Wilder crying because the big bad white boy whupped him good and also licked the blood off his neck.
Last week Joanna Jedrzejczyk left out the ring looking like the elephant man after talking mad smack about her boxing skills. Now, Brian Ortega is being accused of setting it off on Korean rapper Jay Park.
Jay Park was hired to translate for him during his UFC fight against Chan Sung Jung.
“I was just chilling. I was jetlagged and spacing out,” Jay Park said on the ESPN MMA Instagram account. “Then I see someone like pull up. And then they are like… ‘Hey dog are you like Jay Park?’”
That’s when it gets crazy. He says that as he stood up Ortega smacked him.
“As I stood up he like smacked me. It was very narrow… there were chairs behind me so I kind of fell back.”
But he did not take it like a little b##ch. Jay Park got up, he pushed him and the two began to scuffle.
Just watched the interview back and the funny thing is zombie didnt even say he pulled out. He actually said he already ran away from him once and i said “ducked him” so basically the same thing. Ppl who sayin i mistranslated to hype the fight are dumb
While no one knows why the fight really was started, it is safe to say that Ortega didn’t really want to hurt him. If he had, we know how those MMA folk do.
Just look at last weekend’s fight with Joanna.
Jay Park hasn’t yet filed charges against Ortega but has that option for about a year to file an official assault claim.
(AllHipHop News) Something inside of Eminem’s deranged, brilliant mind thought it would be a dope idea to have Mike Tyson punch the crap out of him in his new video, “Godzilla” featuring Juice WRLD.
The Brownsville slugger made a special cameo in the visual, tapping into his recently discovered acting skills.
You thought Mike was killing it on Broadway in his self-titled one-man show produced by Spike Lee or his role as “Roy” in “A Madea Family Funeral?”
Perhaps, you are only aware of his acting skills in his hilarious animated series, “Mike Tyson Mysteries.” Either way, if you are in the know and you then watch this film you can come to only one conclusion…
Even though Mike can’t act, he is so damn fun to watch.
In the video, Mike knocks the Rap God out. Em in a hazy daze says, “Oh what the f##k?… Mike?”
Tyson responds with: “Em, is that you? Ah, I didn’t mean this. Please man, I’m sorry, please forgive me. F##k.”
In the very next scene, you see him and Dr. Dre in the emergency room working on a broke up faced-Eminem.
We had not seen a rapper so messed up from a bout with Tyson since the Fresh Prince thought he was good to rumble with the heavyweight champ.
Tyson tweeted with a clip of the video, saying: “Had a good time knocking out @Eminem in his new video. Truly inspiring how you and Dre are still doing big things.”
But get your entire life and watch it in entirety.
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Bow Wow has sworn off drinking 50 Cent’s fancy cognac before his concerts after laughing off an embarrassing stage fall over the weekend.
The “Like You” hitmaker, who turned 33 on Monday, had been performing on the Millennium Tour in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday when he failed to notice an open trap door, and stepped right into the hole mid-song.
Video footage posted online shows Bow Wow hyping up the crowd before quickly turning around and falling into the gap, momentarily disappearing, as a security guard looks on in shock.
He managed to bounce back from the slip-up and continue with the concert.
But social media users have been mocking the incident online ever since, with 50 Cent posting the clip to his Instagram page and poking fun at his pal, as Bow Wow’s mentors Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri commented with crying with laughter emojis.
Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, has since responded to the online quip from 50, claiming he had been preparing for the gig by sipping on Fif’s alcohol brand in celebration of his birthday weekend.
“Thats what happens when u drink that f##king branson cognac before the concert,” he remarked. “Thanks fif! Im never drinking that s##t again”.
Bow Wow, who was uninjured in the fall, also proved he wasn’t above laughing at himself by sharing the same clip on his own Instagram profile, as he jokingly told himself, “You gots to be more careful Boweezy”.
“fell through the hole tonight in philly!!!” he added. “NO MORE BIRTHDAY TURN UP (celebration)!!! Look at security tho! Thank god i caught myself and landed.”
If a show is good, it doesn’t matter who makes it. When you have good food and good ingredients, you will eat it because it is made well. – Russell Hornsby

Friday nights at 8pm are a little more intense and suspenseful with Russell Hornsby, the lead star of NBC’s top drama Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector. Are you tuned in?
Last week, AllHipHop stopped by Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector official press run at The Federal restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia to catch up on the hit shows’ current season. The space was packed with media influencers looking for all drama that surrounds the hottest procedural series on television.
Inspired by the best-selling book, The Bone Collector, which focuses on a slick serial killer that had New York City shook, NBC’s Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector dives a bit deeper into the mind and movements of a true psychopath who just can’t get enough of playing chess with the city and his victims. Determined to catch him, retired NYPD detective and forensic expert, Lincoln Rhyme, who was injured by the ‘path’ himself is on a mission to silence the killer.
Take a peek at the roundtable discussion exclusively between AllHipHop and one Russell Hornsby. Find out why he thinks Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector is good for television and his thoughts on representing for the culture in Hollywood.
AllHipHop: When fans see your work – what do they think?
Russell Hornsby: When people see me and see my work, they know that this is a man of integrity and stature. They think – he represents us well. He represents the culture well, but also has work of distinction. I’m from the rhythm section. You see that in the work. People will sit back and say I like that brother because he represents us well. So, my work – black people can enjoy and white people can say “that’s a talented brother.” It is not because I am a talented Black man, it is because I am a talented actor.
AllHipHop: Blacks are dominating the acting scene right now. Can you speak to that?
Russell Hornsby: We are getting into a different wave when it comes to our performance capabilities. As a Black man, we are showing that we have different qualities and different capabilities. We can speak at an elevated level and still show you Blackness. We represent this in our everyday life. Look at a Cornel West or a Michael Eric Dyson, these are brothers who get down, but you still know that they are from the rhythm section. I think that is important. Don’t lose your cultural integrity. Don’t lose your cultural specificity. I like Blackness and the diversity of it.
AllHipHop: What should Allhiphop.com fans take away from this season of Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector?
Russell Hornsby: We are looking at a different type of a procedure that we have never seen before. I think it’s more engaging than what you see on other procedural dramas. We are not just doing plot-driven shows. We are doing plot and character-driven. You are getting an opportunity to know who the Bone Collector really is as a man, as a human being, as a father, and as a husband. You are getting all those things – who was he in the past and what got him to this point? I think that is interesting. You’ll learn a lot about the backstory.
AllHipHop: Why did you take on this role considering other acting opportunities out there?
Russell Hornsby: The beauty of it is – they chose me. NBC called my representatives and said we want to offer this to Russell. I was very much aware of the project because other peers of mine had auditioned, read, and tested for it. However, what that said to me was “Russell you have something special to offer.’ I had to live up to that. I’m ready for a challenge at any level. The work speaks. It is not necessarily about the roles you choose – it is about the roles that people offer you. It is the roles [offered] that dictate how they think about you and what they think about you. This speaks to the high-level of how I am perceived in the industry.
Tune into Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector, Fridays 8/7c
(AllHipHop News)(AllHipHop News) Fugees rapper Pras Michel has been arrested in New York after failing to prove he had followed through with a court-ordered child support payment.
Pras has claimed he can no longer afford his monthly payments of $4,800, but had a recent motion to reduce the figure rejected in January after skipping out on a key hearing at Manhattan Family Court.
However, Severiano did not receive the money, and in court on Monday, Pras was only able to present a tracking number for a check he claimed a friend had mailed to his ex on his behalf.
Judge Carol Goldstein refused to accept his claim, telling the musician: “That’s not what I consider proof. You do not even know what day it was sent.”
Addressing his lawyer, Samuel Feldman, she added, “I understand that your client believes that somebody posted the money. The tracking number doesn’t work.”
She demanded Pras be taken into custody on a $5,000 bond, pending another hearing next week.
After the proceedings, Severiano’s lawyer, Robert Wallack, slammed Pras’ behavior, stating, “(His) excuses are nonsense and he deserves to sit in jail until he pays my client the more than $125,000 he owes her.”
The rapper previously insisted he wouldn’t be in such a financial mess if his bank accounts had not been seized by U.S. federal authorities in 2018, amid accusations of campaign-finance violations linked to former President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
