Jay Electronica Finally Released His Legendary Lost Album “Act II” On Streaming

Jay Electronica and mystery go hand in hand. The reclusive rapper who once sparked a bidding war between JAY-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs has returned to the spotlight—this time without saying a single word. His long-lost project Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn) quietly landed on major streaming services this week, years after fans thought it might never see the light of day.

For those who’ve followed his winding career, the sudden appearance of Act II feels like a Hip-Hop miracle. The album, which leaked in 2020 before briefly appearing on Tidal, had already reached mythical status. Now, it’s officially accessible on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and more under Roc Nation Distribution. Its arrival is paired with Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge), Jay Electronica’s equally elusive early mixtape that had been floating around YouTube and unofficial uploads for over a decade.

Act II boasts heavyweight features, including Jay, The-Dream, and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The project opens with “Real Magic,” which samples the voice of former President Ronald Reagan, a fittingly cryptic beginning for an artist who has always blurred lines between intellect, spirituality and surrealism.

While Jay Electronica hasn’t commented publicly on the new availability of the albums, Roc Nation confirmed the rollout by directing fans to the projects on X. The silence is in character. The New Orleans lyricist has built a career not only on his dense, almost prophetic rhymes but also on his rare appearances, leaving listeners perpetually wondering when—if ever—he’ll fully commit to the spotlight.

His 2020 collaboration-heavy A Written Testimony was hailed as his “official” debut, though it leaned heavily on JAY-Z. By contrast, Act II represents something deeper: the long-shelved work fans begged for, whispered about, and traded online for years. It’s the sound of an artist at his most inspired, weaving his philosophies with cinematic production and rare star-studded assists.

The re-release has reignited speculation that Jay Electronica may finally be ready to return with fresh material. Whether this is the beginning of a new chapter or simply a gift from the vault, the moment feels monumental for those who’ve been waiting since his Roc Nation signing in 2010.

For now, Jay Electronica remains what he’s always been—Hip-Hop’s great enigma. His voice, when it does surface, commands attention. And with Act I and Act II now streaming in perpetuity, unless pulled again, his legacy grows a little more tangible while his mystery remains intact.

Jaden Smith Shakes Up Paris Fashion Circles With New Louboutin Role

Jaden Smith just stepped into high fashion’s inner circle with a major title and a Paris address to match.

The 27-year-old rapper and style disruptor has been named men’s creative director at Christian Louboutin.

Smith will relocate to France to lead the design of four men’s collections each year, including shoes, accessories and leather goods.

According to a press release from the luxury label, he’ll also shape the brand’s creative tone across campaigns and events.

The appointment is the result of a six-year friendship between Smith and the legendary designer, sparked by a chance meeting in Paris.

Christian Louboutin praised his new collaborator, saying, “When I first met Jaden, I saw in him a natural fit for the Maison. His world is rich and multidimensional, his style and cultural sensibility are inspiring and his curiosity and openness are remarkable.”

Louboutin added, “I felt that with his creative direction our men’s collection would evolve in an exciting and dynamic way. He feels like the perfect addition to our creative team, and I am truly looking forward to having fun working with him on our men’s collections.”

Smith, who has long blurred the lines between fashion, music and activism, said the partnership felt instinctive.

“Merging my vision with Christian’s comes quite naturally because we see the world in a very similar way,” he said. “There’s a shared respect for creative freedom, and I think that’s why it works.”

He continued, “It isn’t just a title — it’s a creative home. Christian has given me a place to explore, to learn, and to create freely. His legacy is built on hard work and joy, and I want to carry that forward.”

Smith has been a fixture in fashion circles for nearly a decade.

In 2016, he modeled in a women’s wear campaign for Louis Vuitton, wearing a skirt and challenging traditional gender norms.

He’s also the co-founder of MSFTSrep, a clothing line known for its experimental streetwear and has walked red carpets in everything from custom Thom Browne to castle-shaped hats, including his headline-making look at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

His fashion choices have often made headlines, including when he wore his cut-off dreadlocks as an accessory at the 2017 Met Gala. Industry insiders have closely watched his evolution as he’s become a muse for several high-end designers.

This new role marks his most prominent position in the fashion world to date. Smith will begin his duties immediately, with his first collection expected to drop within the next year.

The Louboutin brand, famous for its red bottom soles, has been steadily growing its men’s division.

Smith’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to connect with younger, style-conscious consumers and expand the brand’s cultural reach.

Kanye West’s “Director Of Intellgence” Can Sue Rapper Anonymously Out Of Security Concerns

Kanye West was dealt a legal setback in Los Angeles after a judge ruled that a man suing the rapper can keep his identity hidden due to credible threats and security fears.

The plaintiff, referred to as John Doe, alleges he was hired by Ye in December 2022 as a “director of intelligence” during the artist’s short-lived 2024 presidential bid.

According to court records, Doe says he was tasked with digging into the personal lives of Kim Kardashian and Bianca Censori, including investigating alleged criminal activity such as sex trafficking.

Doe claims he hired private investigators to follow Ye’s wife during a trip to Australia and was ordered to gather intelligence on Kardashian based on the troubled rap star’s suspicions.

According to MyNewsLA, the court rejected Ye’s request to force Doe to reveal his real name publicly. The judge ruled that Doe’s anonymity in court filings would not interfere with the discovery process or depositions.

Doe says he suffers from PTSD and other disabilities stemming from his military service. He alleges that after reporting suspected child abuse at Ye’s Donda Academy, he was met with threats and intimidation.

According to the lawsuit, Ye told him, “You’re f***ing dead to me!” and played recordings that Doe perceived as threatening.

The legal filing also describes a chaotic environment within Ye’s inner circle.

Doe claims Ye’s behavior became erratic in mid-2024, after he started huffing nitrous oxide and had his titanium teeth installed.

He believes these changes contributed to Ye’s increasingly hostile conduct.

Doe further alleges that Ye’s operations manager warned him that his family could be in danger if he continued to be involved. He says he endured retaliation after raising concerns about the academy and watched other staff members leave under similar pressure.

The former employee is suing for retaliation, emotional distress, labor violations, and unpaid wages. He is seeking more than seven figures in damages.

The judge’s ruling, allowing Doe to remain anonymous, was issued in September 2025, clearing the way for the case to proceed.

Stefon Diggs In Baby Drama With Another Woman, One Day After Cardi B Announces She’s Pregnant

Stefon Diggs might be prepping for baby duty with Cardi B, but he’s also caught up in some serious baby mama drama in L.A. with another woman claiming he’s the dad of her infant daughter.

The New England Patriots wideout is juggling two baby headlines at once. Cardi dropped her pregnancy news on Wednesday (September 17), and now court docs show Diggs is in a paternity fight with model Aileen Lopera, aka Lord Gisselle.

Lopera filed papers in Los Angeles County back in December saying Diggs fathered her daughter, who was born in April. The kid’s now a few months old and she’s looking for him to step up.

Diggs clapped back in July, saying he’s “not certain” the baby’s his and asked the court for a DNA test to find out. A judge signed off on it on July 17, ordering both of them to get tested.

But so far, no word on whether those results are in, or what they say.

Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, told The U.S. Sun, “My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.”

Diggs’ lawyer, Tullo Mumtaz, didn’t say a word when asked about it Thursday.

All this is popping off right as Cardi B went public with her pregnancy, confirming she’s expecting her first child with Diggs. He even posted he’s hoping for a boy.

Diggs, 31, already has an 8-year-old daughter named Nova from a previous relationship.

The Maryland-born athlete has been in the NFL for a decade, starting with the Minnesota Vikings before racking up yards and Pro Bowls with the Buffalo Bills.

After a quick stop with the Texans in 2024, Diggs locked in a three-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots in 2025.

As for the paternity case, it’s still open in L.A., and nobody has said if the DNA test has been done or not.

Cardi and Diggs went public earlier this year. She was previously married to Offset and has three kids with him.

EXCLUSIVE: Best Buy Wants Out Of Diddy Assault Case Involving Contest Winner

Best Buy wants no part of the civil lawsuit tied to Diddy, telling a federal judge it had nothing to do with the alleged 2006 assault at the center of the case and should be removed from the litigation entirely.

The lawsuit was filed by LaTroya Grayson in December 2024. She claims Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted her during a party in New York City.

Grayson claims she was invited to the event through a radio contest and traveled from Oklahoma to attend, only to be drugged and assaulted by the Bad Boy founder.

She is seeking $15 million in damages.

In a court filing, attorneys for the electronics retailer argued that the plaintiff’s attempt to link Best Buy to the alleged incident relies on “speculation” and fails to show any real connection.

The company stated that it was only mentioned in the complaint due to a separate album listening event it had sponsored, which took place days earlier and at a completely different location.

Best Buy’s legal team said the claims against the company are not only unsupported but also fall outside New York’s statute of limitations. They argue that the causes of action listed — including RICO violations, negligence and emotional distress — either don’t apply to Best Buy or are time-barred.

The company also pointed out that Grayson failed to respond to its earlier motion to dismiss several of the claims, reinforcing its position that it should not be included in the case.

Grayson’s lawsuit also names Bad Boy Entertainment, Atlantic Records, Delta Air Lines, a promoter, a radio station, and the hotel where she stayed. She alleges the defendants conspired to lure her to the party using deception and threats, profiting from a scheme that led to her assault.

Diddy has denied the accusations. His legal team called the lawsuit “pure fiction,” claiming Grayson “has no memory of the events, does not know who was involved and never spoke to Combs.”

Ashanti’s “Apple Bottom” Jeans Coming Thanks To Hubby Nelly

Ashanti is stepping into the fashion spotlight alongside her husband, Nelly, as the Grammy-winning singer prepares to collaborate with his revived Apple Bottoms denim line, bringing their two-decade-long love story full circle.

The Hip-Hop couple, who quietly tied the knot in December 2023, is now linking up professionally after welcoming their first child together, a son named KK, in July.

Nelly confirmed Ashanti’s involvement with the brand during an interview with PEOPLE, marking a new chapter for the early 2000s fashion label that helped define urban style.

Initially launched in 2003—the same year the pair first met at a Grammy nominations press event—Apple Bottoms became known for embracing curvy silhouettes and pushing forward a message of body confidence before it was a mainstream conversation.

“My fan base that had been showing me unbelievable support all throughout my career, they stood up for Apple Bottoms at that time, where I think just all of the urban fashion was really the fashion at the time,” Nelly told PEOPLE.

He added, “I’m a country boy, man. We like curves. My mama’s got curves, my auntie’s got curves.”

After years of public demand, Nelly relaunched Apple Bottoms in 2024, describing the return as “like reuniting with a long-lost relative.”

The brand has already partnered with rapper Latto for promotional campaigns and remains focused on celebrating body diversity and empowering women through fashion.

Ashanti’s upcoming collaboration with Apple Bottoms hasn’t been fully detailed yet, but her involvement adds a personal and professional layer to the brand’s resurgence.

Known for chart-toppers like “Foolish” and “Always on Time,” the singer continues to balance music success with new ventures in style.

Apple Bottoms, once a staple in Hip-Hop fashion, is now aiming to reclaim its place in the style world—with Ashanti helping to lead the charge.

Ghostface Killah’s Son Infinite Coles Confronts Father With Emotional New Songs

Infinite Coles Opens Up About Rocky Relationship With Ghostface Killah

Ghostface Killah’s son Infinite Coles is pulling back the curtain on his complicated relationship with his father. The rapper has two newly released songs, that make for an interesting mixture. He’s dropped “SweetFaceKillah” and “Dad & I” to get his point across.

On the tracks, I.C. doesn’t shy away from naming the pain he feels. “How you in a Mack truck, but forget you a father..is it me?/Am I not your cup of tea?/Are my pants not low, like your self-esteem?/Do I need to f##k a b#### just so you could see,” he raps.

The contrast between Ghostface’s larger-than-life persona and his alleged absence in the role as a father seems to hurt Infinite most. Then there’s the other side where he says, “You told me to man-up when I wear makeup, can you love me now?” Powerful.

The lyrics underscore a struggle that goes beyond one family. Infinite has been carving out his own lane in music with a sound that bounces between R&B and alternative influences. He took to rapping, I suppose, to get his point across. Let us not pretend that he has not been very open about his sexuality and his father. The old-school Hip-Hop world was predicated on toughness and very traditional masculinity. That was dominant and now, it seems, fluidity is more “the thing.”

For Ghostface, a Wu-Tang Clan icon, his son’s words sound like a direct challenge. I am wondering if this will ever resolve itself, because it feels like we get “an open letter to a father” every year or so.

The plea “can you love me now” is universal. I wonder how it will land with Ghostface who just dropped another album?

Whether Ghostface responds publicly or not, Infinite Coles has made his statement clear. I hope he can get past this either way. If his dad never likes him or accepts him, he’s going to have to figure that out. This has gone on for years. Turn a personal struggle into a personal flashpoint, because it may never be a cultural one.

Damon Dash Unleashes New Artist Nicky Licky On Cam’ron With New Diss Track

Damon Dash threw more fuel on his beef with Cam’ron and 50 Cent by rolling out his new artist Nicky Licky and letting her fire shots in a diss track called “Checkmate.”

The track takes aim at both 50 and Cam, with Nicky clowning 50’s age and comparing Cam’ron to Fredo from The Godfather Part II—basically calling him a backstabbing clown.

The song was previewed by Dame himself, who seems more than happy to use his new artist as a lyrical missile in drama with the two Hip-Hop heavyweights.

This whole beef is tied to their ongoing war over the “Paid In Full” franchise. Cam’ron, who starred in the original film, is reportedly working with 50 on a new series version of the movie.

Dame, who helped produce the OG flick, is definitely not cool with that.

He claims he’s working on his own version of the story—a docuseries for Revolt—and says 50 didn’t own anything during his heated Breakfast Club appearance on Tuesday (September 16).

As for Nicky Licky, Damon Dash introduced her as a “White lesbian Aaliyah,” saying she writes her own stuff, sings, and plays instruments. He’s clearly betting big on her and using this diss track to put her name on the map.

This beef has been simmering since Dame’s bankruptcy, and now it’s spilling into the music. With “Checkmate,” Dame’s making it clear he’s not letting anyone rewrite his story without a fight.

Ghostface Killah Scoffs At Drake’s UMG Lawsuit & Calls Rap “A Street Game”

Ghostface Killah shared his thoughts on Drake’s lawsuit against Universal Music Group, brushing off the legal drama and reminding everyone that Hip-Hop was born in the streets, not the courtroom.

Speaking with XXL while promoting his long-awaited album Supreme Clientele 2, the Wu-Tang Clan legend said he wasn’t fully up to speed on the lawsuit but had heard it was tied to Drake’s ongoing battle with Kendrick Lamar and accusations that UMG favored Lamar.

“I mean, would have never did it,” Ghostface said, making it clear that suing a label over a rap beef isn’t his style. “People be forgetting, sometimes rap is a street game. Man, we did this from the streets. Battle goes with rap, and it’s like, Yo, you got to be able to take it, man, and if you was to take that L it’s like, Yo, son, you lost. You can’t just go sue the company.”

He didn’t stop there. “Because even if there was nothing behind it, and he just would have beat you with bars, it’s like, Yo, bro, you got beat.”

Ghostface also made it clear he doesn’t get too caught up in industry squabbles. “I don’t like to stick my nose,” he said. “That’s small s### to me.”

When asked if lawsuits like Drake’s could hurt the competitive edge of Hip-Hop, Ghostface pointed to Drake’s global reach.

“Drake is big,” he explained. “He’s a big artist, so it got more light to it. Now if these little n##### on the block is doing it, it ain’t even get that much attention.”

He acknowledged Drake’s influence at UMG, saying, “They gave him crazy millions to get ahead and stay with Universal… He might got a voice in there.”

Ghostface Killah “Supreme Clientele 2”

The comments come as Ghostface celebrates the release of Supreme Clientele 2, his follow-up to the 2000 classic.

The new album dropped in August through Mass Appeal Records as part of their Legend Has It series and includes features from Nas, Raekwon, Method Man, Conway the Machine and Styles P.

“Everything was just right,” he told XXL. “The fans was calling for it, first of all. I could have been took care of business, but I was doing projects for other people.”

The album’s release coincides with the Wu-Tang Clan Forever: Final Chapter Tour, which includes European dates.

Despite the tour’s title, Ghostface made it clear he’s not stepping away from the mic anytime soon.

LeBron Finally Has Words For Drake After Rapper’s Attacks

LeBron James finally broke his silence about Drake after months of awkward tension and sneaky jabs, making it clear there’s still love, even if things are kinda weird now.

In a sit-down with Speedy Morman on 360 With Speedy, LeBron James addressed the elephant in the room: where he stands with the 6 God, following all the drama between Drake and Kendrick Lamar that lit up the Hip-Hop world.

“Always wish him the best,” LeBron James said. “Obviously, different places right now, currently. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing mine. But it’s always love for sure.”

That might sound chill on the surface, but let’s be real, this is the first time LeBron’s even acknowledged the weird energy between him and Drake since their bromance started looking shaky.

Everything started spiraling after LeBron was caught turning up at Kendrick’s Pop Out show in LA—right in the middle of K-Dot’s lyrical war with Drake.

And it wasn’t some lowkey appearance either. LeBron was front and center mouthing the words to “Not Like Us,” the same track that buried Drake in the rap beef.

After that, it didn’t take long for people to notice Drake’s petty level went up a notch. He took slick shots at LeBron in his “Fighting Irish Freestyle” and even switched up lyrics during his Wireless Festival set to make it crystal clear he wasn’t feeling the King anymore.

Then came the tattoo move, a strategic cover-up of a past tribute to LeBron James.

Still, LeBron’s response was calm, cool and drama-free. He kept it respectful, even though it is obvious they’re not where they used to be as friends.

Drake hasn’t fired back at the interview yet, but considering his track record, it wouldn’t be surprising if he slides something slick into his next song.

Noose-Like Rope Found Hanging Near Black History Museum In Atlanta

Dan Moore Jr., president and CEO of the APEX Museum, called the discovery of a rope hanging from a tree outside the historic institution in downtown Atlanta a deliberate attempt to instill fear and evoke racial trauma.

The rope, which had a loop at the bottom, was found on Wednesday afternoon near the museum’s entrance on Auburn Avenue, a street once known as “The Richest Negro Street in the World.”

The museum, founded in 1978, is the city’s oldest cultural center dedicated to African American history.

Atlanta police and Georgia Homeland Security responded to the scene. Investigators said the rope was too small to be officially classified as a noose, but the symbolism wasn’t lost on the museum staff or the surrounding community.

Moore issued a statement calling the act “an attempt to transform a site of learning and remembrance into a place of fear.”

He added, “It aimed to transform a site of learning and remembrance into a place of fear, which is precisely why this should not…MUST not happen in our time.”

“For Black communities in the United States, a noose is a symbol of terror representing lynchings, hatred, racial violence, and a system that once publicly sanctioned the murder of Blacks to enforce white supremacy,” Moore said. “Placed beside a museum dedicated to Black life and resilience, the rope reads as an act of intimidation: a clear message intended to wound…silence…and to remind people that the same threats and violence of our country’s past can be conjured in the present.”

He urged communities to reject these acts using both legal means and moral clarity.

“Such symbols of hatred in or near these institutions are a travesty that dishonor the work of scholars, activists, descendants, and survivors who have labored to turn historic stories full of pain and achievement into education and hope for the future,” he said.

The museum is currently preparing an exhibit on the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre, adding emotional weight to the rope’s appearance.

Atlanta police released a brief statement saying, “Officers are investigating the circumstances. At this time, there is nothing significant to report.”

Homeland Security has since removed the rope for evidence and determined it did not meet the technical definition of a noose.

The incident comes amid national scrutiny following the death of 21-year-old Demartravion “Trey” Reed, a Black student found hanging from a tree on the campus of Delta State University in Mississippi.

While local officials have said there is no evidence of foul play, Reed’s family, represented by civil rights attorney Ben Crump, is demanding an independent investigation.

Damon Dash Demands $100M & Threatens RICO Lawsuit Amid Claudia Jordan Feud

Damon Dash is not going quietly into the Hollywood night. Notice I said “Damon” and not Dame, because this man is coming out different. He’s bringing the whole legal bazooka with him. Just days after Claudia Jordan unleashed a fiery tirade accusing Dame of being a “pervert” on the set of Dear Frank, Dame, I mean Damon, has fired back with a $100 million DEMAND.

If they do not pay, he will come with a civil RICO SUIT. Yes, you read that right—$100 million. Vy the way, when I first saw this, I thought it was $100,00. Damon says there’s a whole racket of folks out here conspiring against him, from lawyers to producers to even Claudia herself.

Let’s rewind for a second. Claudia Jordan went nuclear and accused Dame—not Damon—of wildly inappropriate behavior on the set of Dear Frank. “You was a f###### pervert on set,” she blasted in an IG Story. She even clowned him personally, saying, “You thought you was hot. You’re not. You’re a fat f###### mess.”

Dame, meanwhile, tried to defend himself in a Breakfast Club interview, admitting he gave Claudia a p#### tape to “study” for a scene but claiming it was meant to avoid talking sex directly with her. I am not sure if this is worthy of popping the popcorn yet. But let us continue.

Now Dame has flipped the script. In a scorching letter sent out like a legal shotgun blast, Dash accused a laundry list of people—Chris Brown, Esq. (not the singer), Josh Webber, Brian White, Tony White, Claudia Jordan, Larry Smith, Muddy Waters Films and others—of running a coordinated scheme to destroy him. On IG, he said it was a “checkmate” move. He says they misappropriated his film The List, stripped his credits, retitled it Dear Frank and left him uncompensated. OK. I think I can get that popcorn, but watch what he says next.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Dame Dash (@duskopoppington)

Damon’s claims are below:

  • Budget Fraud: He says producer Tony White lied about the budget to edge him out.
  • Business Theft: Larry Smith allegedly cut Dame out of a Las Vegas cannabis grow operation—yes, including a strain named “Pink Mink” for Cam’ron.
  • Bankruptcy Sabotage: He claims Chris Brown (again, the lawyer) interfered with his Roc-A-Fella equity, pushing him into bankruptcy.
  • False Testimony: Dash accuses Claudia of publicly praising his directing, only to later testify under oath that he didn’t direct the film at all, while allegedly cashing in on projects linked to his enemies.

The damages, according to Dame, add up to one hundred million dollars. He demands everyone cease and desist with their “fraudulent, defamatory and harassing” actions immediately—or prepare for court.

So here we are. Claudia calls Dame a pervert. Dame calls Claudia a liar. And in the middle sits Dear Frank, a film that seems destined to be remembered more for lawsuits than cinema. If Dame is serious about this RICO claim, this battle could drag on for years and pull in a whole cast of characters. Meanwhile, the internet is eating it up…like popcorn.

Below is a copy of his post on Instagram…the proverbial “checkmate” as he called it.

Memphis Bleek Claims JAY-Z Stopped Rapping Because No One Can Compete

Memphis Bleek says JAY-Z isn’t dropping new music because no one in Hip-Hop is pushing him to do it.

During a sit-down on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast Monday (September 17), the Roc-A-Fella alum explained that the rap mogul’s creative fire was once fueled by rivals like Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., and Eminem—but today, that competitive spark is missing.

“So now I feel it’s to a point Jay needs to be challenged to do music,” Bleek said. “Not saying that somebody need to diss him or competition. He just feels like there’s no one on his level. When Eminem was making music, Pun was making music, Biggie, Tupac, those guys, he had competition to be like, ‘Oh, I got to be number one.’ It’s no competition for Jay now.”

Bleek also pointed to JAY-Z’s early ambivalence about fame, noting that his longtime friend never intended to stay in the spotlight for decades.

“If you go back to his first album, second album around that time, he always was talking about retiring after his first album,” Bleek added. “Then he was like, I’mma retire after the second album. He never wanted to do this and be this glamorous superstar. He wanted to be the biggest businessman. So that’s why, if you see music, is the backbone, but his business is his personality. That’s who he is, the businessman. And that’s what overshadows the music.”

He even joked, “Unless he want to battle me.”

Memphis Bleek Sparks JAY-Z Comeback Rumors

The conversation comes weeks after Bleek unintentionally stirred up buzz about a possible JAY-Z comeback during an appearance on “Drink Champs.”

He recalled a backstage chat with Hov at Beyoncé’s final “Cowboy Carter Tour” stop in Las Vegas, where he asked for a verse.

“I said, ‘Listen, I know you working. Save me a verse,'” Bleek said. “He’s like, ‘Alright, I got you.’ So if it happens, it happens.”

That offhand comment snowballed into full-blown album rumors—rumors JAY-Z quickly shut down.

According to producer Cash Cobain, JAY-Z personally called him to deny any new project was in the works.

Bleek later confirmed the clarification himself on his “ROC Solid” podcast with Cam’ron, saying, “That n#### called me, ‘Yo Bleek, when the last record you heard of mine that the album dropping?’ I said, ‘N#### chill. Let’s just call it wishful thinking.’”

As of now, JAY-Z has made it clear he’s not planning to release new music anytime soon.

Kid Cudi Threatens Consequence For Claiming He Drugged Up Kanye With Pills & Tanked Drake Collab

Kid Cudi is threatening legal action after Consequence accused him of derailing a major Kanye West and Drake collaboration and encouraging drug use during a turbulent time in West’s life.

The Cleveland-born rapper fired back after Consequence made several claims linking Cudi to West’s 2016 mental health crisis and the collapse of a rumored joint project between West and Drake.

Cudi said his team issued a cease-and-desist letter demanding a retraction from his former G.O.O.D. Music labelmate.

“The other day, rapper known as Consequence, made some statements about me, made some allegations that were extremely false and we sent a cease and desist and told him to take it down and retract his statement. He waited two days to take it off. Twitter still hasn’t retracted this statement,” Kid Cudi said in a video statement.

Consequence had implied that Cudi’s personal issues, including a feud with Drake and a so-called “meltdown,” contributed to Kanye’s breakdown and hospitalization.

He also suggested Cudi influenced West to “take pills and rant on stage,” referencing the infamous Sacramento concert where Kanye West abruptly ended the show and was later hospitalized.

“The things he said were pretty f###### disturbing,” Cudi continued. “Let me be clear. I had nothing to do with Kanye not doing that Glad album with Drake and our damn sure had nothing to do with him being hospitalized and going to the psych ward.”

Cudi, who has been open about his own mental health struggles, made it clear he found the allegations harmful and irresponsible.

“This is some crazy s### to just be saying whatever the f### you wanna say in a moment, you know, try to be a hater and just spewing lies that s### is not a f###### joke. It’s not funny, you know.”

He also pushed back against the drug accusations.

“I’ve never even been a pill guy in my life,” he said. “Like n##### know me, I don’t do pills, fam. Like, who are you talking about?”

Tensions between Cudi and Drake have simmered for years. In 2016, Cudi called out rappers who use ghostwriters, which many took as a jab at both Drake and West.

Drake later responded with pointed lyrics on “Two Birds, One Stone,” referencing Cudi’s mental health.

Steph Curry Slams Killer Mike Over Ayesha Curry Insult: “Stay In Your Lane”

Steph Curry fired back at Killer Mike after the rapper co-signed a TikTok mocking Ayesha Curry, blasting him on social media for backing what he called a disrespectful jab at his wife.

The online dust-up started when TikTok creator B##### Woodz posted a video accusing Ayesha of making her husband look bad by publicly expressing her insecurities about not receiving male attention.

In the clip, Woodz said she is “struggling not to cheat on her husband” and often talks about being “frustrated” with Steph’s fame and how other women desire him.

“She wants to go be GloRilla or some s###,” Woodz said. “Like, we get it, bro. Just go drop an album or some s###. Stop embarrassing this man. It’s getting pathetic.”

Killer Mike, a four-time Grammy winner and one-half of Run the Jewels, jumped into the comment section with laughing emojis.

“My n#### said she wanna go be Glo!!!” he wrote. “Man Steph doesn’t deserve the embarrassment [for real]. God bless him.”

That didn’t sit well with Curry, who responded directly to Mike’s comment in a comment captured by The Shade Room. “@killermike naaaaa not you Mike,” Curry wrote. “I’m cool [staying] silent and letting these other clowns have [their] moment!”

He didn’t stop there. “But you’re better than that @killermike. Stay in your lane and let God keep blessing me like he is. We r good over here,” Curry added, signing off with a peace emoji.

The back-and-forth put a spotlight on Curry’s willingness to defend his wife publicly, especially when the criticism crosses a line.

Steph and Ayesha, who met as teens and tied the knot in 2011, have built a high-profile family life with their four kids: Riley, Ryan, Canon and Caius.

Jimmy Kimmel Pulled For Charlie Kirk Tribute Until He Donates & Apologizes

Jimmy Kimmel will be pulled from dozens of ABC affiliate stations as Sinclair Broadcast Group plans to replace Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a tribute to Charlie Kirk, while demanding both a public apology and a personal donation to Turning Point USA in response to Kimmel’s on-air criticism of the political right’s reaction to Kirk’s assassination.

Deadline reports the programming change will take place Friday (September 19), with Sinclair citing what it called “inappropriate and deeply insensitive” remarks made by Kimmel during his September 15 and 16 monologues. Sinclair’s vice chairman, Jason Smith, said the company expected Kimmel to issue “a formal, direct apology to the Kirk family and make a meaningful personal donation” to both the family and the conservative organization Kirk founded.

Kimmel had used his monologues to mock Donald Trump’s televised eulogy, accuse Republicans of politicizing Kirk’s death, and criticize efforts to shift blame away from far-right extremism.

The backlash was swift. ABC and Nexstar suspended the show across several major markets, and the Federal Communications Commission backed the move.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr signaled support for Sinclair’s action and hinted at upcoming regulatory reviews of national networks’ influence over local broadcasting, calling for greater broadcaster accountability.

Jimmy Kimmel Axing Triggers Intense Criticism

The decision ignited outrage across Hollywood and Capitol Hill. Critics called it censorship and a direct attack on free speech.

Actor Ben Stiller, comedian Wanda Sykes, actress Sophia Bush and MSNBC’s Chris Hayes all condemned the blackout, with Hayes calling it “the most straightforward attack on free speech from state actors I’ve ever seen in my life and it’s not even close.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, New York Governor Kathy Hochul and Senator Chris Murphy also blasted the move, accusing the Trump administration and GOP leaders of using Kirk’s death as a tool to silence dissent.

Online, the reaction was no less intense. Supporters of Kimmel and free expression called the blackout “pathetic,” “fascism,” and said “the First Amendment doesn’t exist in America anymore.”

Others compared the move to broader cancel culture trends, pointing to similar removals of journalists and academics who criticized Kirk or the right.

Despite the uproar, Kimmel has yet to make a public statement. A network spokesperson confirmed the show is “preempted indefinitely” while internal discussions continue.

Young Thug Confirms He Rescheduled Album To Avoid Clashing With Cardi B

Young Thug is stepping aside for Cardi B—at least for a week. The Atlanta rapper confirmed Thursday night (September 17) that he’s pushing back the release of his upcoming album UY SCUTI to give Cardi space to shine with her own project.

“Yall know I wasn’t dropping Friday. It’s a ladies day. Do yo s### @iamcardib,” he posted on X (Twitter), signaling his support for Cardi’s new album Am I The Drama, which is set to arrive Friday (September 19).

Originally scheduled to drop UY SCUTI on the same day, Thug will now release the album on Friday (September 26), which coincides with Doja Cat‘s Vie.

That shift has sparked some chatter online, with Doja’s supporters pointing out the new overlap.

Cardi responded with encouragement, writing, “And you better step next week …you got this, You know this !!”

UY SCUTI marks Young Thug’s first full-length project since 2023’s BUSINESS ISBUSINESS. The album is expected to feature collaborations with Future, Travis Scott, Ken Carson, and 21 Savage.

While Mariah the Scientist was rumored to appear, recent personal drama between the two may have changed those plans.

Production credits on UY SCUTI include heavyweights like Metro Boomin, Wheezy, Southside, 9Jay, Dez Wright, Juke Wong, Rosen Beatz and Taurus.

The project will likely feature two previously released singles. “Money on Money,” featuring Future, dropped April 25 and touches on themes of betrayal and loyalty.

More recently, Thug released “Miss My Dogs,” a somber, piano-led track that reads like a series of personal letters. The song addresses fractured relationships and leaked jail calls involving Mariah, Drake, Lil Baby, Future, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane and others.

Each verse serves as a direct apology, with Thug reflecting on lost friendships and strained bonds.

A due date hasn’t been announced, but Cardi confirmed the baby will arrive before the tour begins in February.

Dave Blunts Unloads On Kanye West, Says Rapper Kissed Transgender Woman

Dave Blunts tossed gasoline on his breakup with Kanye West by dropping a diss track that calls out Ye by name, drags their failed collab and throws jabs over some serious personal stuff.

The 25-year-old Iowa rapper aired it all out in a brutal verse that hit the internet right after a text thread between him and Ye leaked.

“Kanye West made me diss the Jews/B#### I’m speaking out this my truth/i’m so sick of tired of being groomed/

He didn’t tiptoe around anything either. “47-year-old billionaire, but for me he’s fanned out,” Blunts raps. “Told me that you loved me, b#### you was never even my friend…”

Blunts aim at Ye’s past scandals, including the antisemitic mess that had folks calling for accountability and led to his cancellation last year and said Ye kissed a transgender woman.

This fallout didn’t come out of nowhere. Blunts was actually deep in Ye’s creative circle earlier this year, working on tracks for the upcoming album In a Perfect World.

He wrote three songs solo—including the controversial “Heil Hitler,” which had already raised eyebrows when it was released.

Now, Blunts adds Kanye to a growing list of rap heavyweights he’s clashed with, including 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg.

Video Of Bhad Bhabie On Car Hood During Battle With LeVaughn Surfaces As Relationship Implodes

Bhad Bhabie and LeVaughn’s wild breakup saga hit another level on Wednesday (September 17) after he posted a video showing her on top of a car mid-argument, and it’s only adding fuel to the chaos surrounding their relationship.

The Bhad Bhabie versus LeVaughn drama took a nasty turn this week, when she dropped serious abuse claims on Snapchat, accusing him of hitting her “at least 500 times” during their three-year relationship.

Bhad Bhabie said he didn’t care at all after she had a miscarriage and was still bleeding. According to her, he even spat in her face while she was pregnant.

LeVaughn didn’t stay quiet. He fired back on Instagram, called her a “schizophrenic,” and posted a clip showing Bhad Bhabie crying during one of their fights. He didn’t really try to deny anything; he just laughed it off and kept moving.

Now, a video of Bhad Bhabie clinging to a car’s hood during one of their public spats is making the rounds online and it’s giving people a whole new look at how intense things really got between them.

That clip, along with previous footage showing him hitting her outdoors in June 2024, is resurfacing as folks revisit the toxic history between the two.

This relationship has been messy from the start. They linked up in mid-2020 after a mutual friend introduced them and things got serious fast. They both got inked with tribute tattoos in April 2023. She had his name and “1111” (his birthday) tattooed on her, and he got her name tattooed on his neck.

By the end of 2023, Bhad Bhabie revealed she was pregnant. Their daughter, Kali Love, was born in March 2024. They even threw a baby shower in February and shared all the pictures online, as if everything was perfect.

But behind the scenes, it was chaos. In July 2024, she accused him of putting hands on her and dropped a security video as proof, then deleted it. This month, she said she was done for good and blamed him for the miscarriage.
