Yandy Smith-Harris, Karlie Redd Fight Back Against Domestic Abuse

Yandy Smith-Harris spotlighted domestic violence awareness and survivor empowerment during a recent PIX11 News segment with fellow Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta castmate Karlie Redd, using their television platform to push for visibility and resources during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Appearing on PIX11’s New York Living on October 16, 2025, the two reality stars spoke openly about their advocacy work and the importance of community support for survivors.

Smith-Harris, the founder of the Big Heart Foundation and Karlie Redd used the opportunity to promote their organization’s Courageous Awards, which honor individuals who have endured and overcome domestic abuse.

The Courageous Awards ceremony, hosted by the Big Heart Foundation, takes place at Atlanta City Hall on October 22, 2025, from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. The event recognizes survivors and provides a platform for stories of resilience during a month dedicated to raising awareness about domestic abuse.

“A lot of times, people just don’t have the resources, and they just don’t know. So we felt like with our platforms, we can really spread the word. And we didn’t just want to spread the word. We also wanted to honor the people that are really out there doing the work, because they are really doing the work every day, all day. And with this award, we hope that we bring awareness to these organizations, and we honor the survivors that have used their platform and their stories to help other people,” Smith-Harris said.

Karlie Redd joined Smith-Harris on the PIX11 broadcast to help amplify the message, stressing the importance of connecting survivors with support systems and resources.

“My husband got arrested for domestic violence and it went viral,” Karlie Redd said. “A lot of people were reaching out to me in my DMs, and one particular situation that resonates with me, which made me think about the Courageous Awards and coming to Yandy about it.

“A young lady reached out to me and she was just so lonely and she was going through it and I said, go get a hotel, get away, you know, and she did. And then I just didn’t hear from her anymore. I mean, we were talking every day. And I said, okay, well, maybe she’s okay. Her family reached out and said her music killed her, and that they saw the DMs, and they were happy that she had someone to talk to. And from then on, I said, you know what? This is something personal for me.” Karlie Redd revealed.

Both women have used their visibility on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta to advocate for social issues beyond the screen.

With over 4 million Instagram followers, Smith-Harris has built an extensive digital following that she frequently mobilizes for causes tied to justice and community upliftment.

Karlie Redd, also a longtime cast member, has similarly leaned into advocacy work, using her platform to support initiatives that affect women and marginalized groups.

Booba Detained By Paris Police Over Rival Rapper’s Harassment Complaint

Booba was taken into custody on Wednesday in Paris after rival rapper Gims filed a police complaint accusing the outspoken rapper of harassment and online abuse.

The artist was detained and questioned by authorities over claims of psychological harassment and cyberbullying made by Gims and his wife, Demdem, over his song “Dolce Camara.”

The complaint is tied to their long-running public feud, which has played out across social media and in the press.

The arrest marks another legal hurdle for Booba, who has previously been indicted in a separate harassment case involving Magali Berdah, a well-known figure in French reality television.

His aggressive online persona and public clashes have made him a controversial figure in the French Hip-Hop scene.

Gims, a chart-topping artist with a massive following in the Francophone world, has largely avoided public spats but took legal action this time. The rivalry between the two rappers has simmered for years, fueled by insults, diss tracks and social media jabs.

According to French media outlet Le Parisien, legal proceedings are expected to move forward in the coming days.

Chrisean Rock Dumped By HoodTrophy Bino & It’s All Because Of Blueface

HoodTrophy Bino pulled the plug on his affair with Chrisean Rock after she refused to cover up that giant Blueface tat on her face—and he aired it all out on livestream like it was nothing.

The Los Angeles rapper, who started dating Rock back in August 2024, hopped on social media and made it real clear why he bounced: “If she can’t cover the s### up, then I’m gone. I don’t wanna look at a n####. I don’t wanna look at another n#### bro… It ain’t get covered up. The b#### don’t wanna cover it up, so I had to go.”

Yikes.

Bino didn’t hold back about how much he was into her, either, saying he loved Chrisean, but Blueface on her face just wasn’t working.

“I ain’t gonna lie, I was really in love,” he said. “I had to snap out of it because I was so f##### up, I was gonna crash out. If I ain’t snap out of it, she was gonna break my heart.”

Chrisean Rock and Bino first went public a few months ago, right around when Blueface started his four-year bid for violating probation on a 2021 assault case. She and Blue have had a chaotic back-and-forth for years and even have a kid together, born in 2023.

Now Blueface might be coming home soon.

His mom, Karlissa Saffold, said he’s “only days away from release.”

According to her, “He’s doing well, he’s doing his push-ups and sit-ups and preparing to come home. I get to talk to him couple times a week, he talks to the kids. He’s excited about coming home and getting to work and being a dad.”

That face tat has been a problem for a while. Earlier this year, Chrisean Rock hinted she might get it removed—maybe even move on from Blueface for good.

Clearly, that plan didn’t last long, and now she’s single again.

Angel Reese Makes Victoria’s Secret History As Missy Elliott Lights Up Stage

Angel Reese turned the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show into a moment for the record books Wednesday night (October 15) in Brooklyn as she became the first professional athlete to walk the brand’s iconic runway while Missy Elliott closed the night with a high-octane performance of her biggest hits.

The 23-year-old Chicago Sky forward strutted through Steiner Studios in two head-turning pink looks, marking a major crossover from hardwood to high fashion.

Her debut included a white lingerie set adorned with pink roses and a dramatic rose-covered shawl. For her second walk, she wore silver-and-white wings, a glittery pink cutout tee, and strappy heels.

“I literally could not stop smiling!” Reese said when she got the call for the show. “It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway.”

Her confidence on the catwalk mirrored her dominance on the court. Drafted by Chicago in 2024, the LSU alum quickly made headlines as the fastest player in WNBA history to notch 500 points and 500 rebounds. She earned back-to-back All-Star nods and was named the Sky’s 2024 Player of the Year.

“I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere,” Reese said. “We can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it.”

Meanwhile, Missy Elliott capped off the night with a crowd-thumping set featuring “Minute Man,” “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It” and “Lose Control.” Dressed in a sparkling outfit with platform boots and sculptural hair knots, the Hip-Hop legend brought her signature flair to the stage while models danced behind the scenes.

Snoop Dogg Takes Accountability, Delivers Message Of LGBTQ Love With New Song

Snoop Dogg launched a colorful new chapter in his children’s series Doggyland by teaming up with GLAAD and former The Voice finalist Jeremy Beloate for Spirit Day, just two months after his remarks about Disney’s Lightyear stirred backlash.

The Hip-Hop icon joined forces with Beloate—an openly LGBTQ singer he mentored on NBC’s singing competition—to debut a new song titled “Love is Love,” which promotes acceptance and celebrates diverse families.

“I think that’s why we’re able to take our platforms and do the things that unite people, because by seeing us together, it just shows that beautiful people are beautiful people,” Snoop Dogg said about the project. “You don’t have to put us in a box and think that I’m only supposed to hang with these type of people and you’re only supposed to hang with those type of people. People are people, and one thing I love about music is the universal language of all people.”

The track is featured in a fresh Doggyland episode where Beloate voices a puppy named Zippy, who performs the inclusive anthem alongside Snoop’s character, Bow Wizzle.

The animated episode includes scenes of same-sex parents with their children, reinforcing the message of love and unity. The lyrics echo that theme: “Our parents are different. No two are the same, but the one thing that’s for certain is the love won’t change.”

During a conversation with Beloate, Snoop reflected on the purpose of the project.

“It’s teaching parenthood. It’s teaching situations that kids in the world is going through right now in a beautiful way through song, dance, melody, just trying to get more clarity on how we live and the way we live,” he said. “And I felt like this music is a beautiful bridge to bringing understanding.”

He added, “It’s a beautiful thing that kids can have parents of all walks and be able to be shown love, to be taught what love is, because hate is taught and so is love. And I think that being able to have parents of all walks of life, whether it’s two fathers, two mothers, whatever it is, love is the key. And I think these kids are being loved by these great parents that are, you know, showing them an example of what family is.”

The collaboration arrives after Snoop’s appearance on the It’s Giving podcast, where he recounted taking his grandchildren to see Lightyear, which includes a brief scene of a same-sex couple. His grandson’s questions about the characters’ family structure left him at a loss.

“They’re like, ‘She had a baby with another woman,'” Snoop recalled. “Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie, is like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman! He admitted, “It f##### me up. I’m like, scared to go to the movies now. Y’all throwing me in the middle of s### that I don’t have an answer for.”

Following the backlash, a statement circulated online that appeared to be from Snoop, reading, “All my gay friends [know] what’s up, they been calling me with love. My bad for not knowing the answers for a 6-year-old. Teach me how to learn. I’m not perfect.”

However, his team later said the post was not official.

Beloate, who recently signed with Snoop’s Death Row Records, also released his debut single “Show Me (How Fast You Can Break My Heart),” produced by Matias Mora. On Instagram, he credited Snoop for giving him the space to explore his artistry.

“With the support of Snoop Dogg and after signing to Death Row Records, I’ve had the space to really discover what feels honest and true to me,” he wrote.

Spirit Day, celebrated annually on October 16, encourages public figures and organizations to wear purple in solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to speak out against bullying.

Snoop participated by wearing purple and using his platform to promote understanding.

Benzino Gets Roasted Over D’Angelo Tribute Video Gone Wrong

Benzino caught heat online Wednesday (October 15) after posting a tribute to the late D’Angelo that featured his own 2020 music video inspired by the neo-soul pioneer’s sensual visuals.

The Benzino video, titled “The Bigger Picture,” borrowed heavily from D’Angelo’s 1999 “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”—a slow, shirtless, sweat-drenched homage to intimacy that became a cultural moment.

But instead of praise, Benzino’s attempt to honor the late singer drew mockery and disbelief.

“I absolutely was influenced by the Amazing artist DAngelo Rip King your music is timeless,” Benzino wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, which had its comments turned off—possibly to avoid the exact kind of reactions that exploded elsewhere.

Once the clip landed on X (Twitter), the dragging began. One user reposted the video with the line, “No way he’s getting into heaven,” and the floodgates opened.

“Somebody called someone a ‘Sentient Neckbone’ on here a few days ago. Benzino fits that description as well,” one comment read.

Another chimed in, “I will never forget that someone said he looked like a muscle spasm in this video.”

A third user took aim at Benzino’s daughter, rapper Coi Leray. “Benzino should burn irl then go to Hell for that D’Angelo tribute video #MentalHealthMatters,” they wrote. “Dear Coi Leray, I’m sorry that that man is your father and so deranged.”

The original “Untitled” video debuted in December 1999 as the third single from D’Angelo’s Grammy-winning album Voodoo.

D’Angelo, born Michael Eugene Archer, died on October 14 at age 51 after a private battle with pancreatic cancer.

His family described him as “the shining star of our family” and remembered his “extraordinarily moving music.”

Rapper Suave Drilly Shot Dead Outside Bronx Parole Office

Rising rapper Suave Drilly was gunned down Wednesday evening outside a Mott Haven parole office where the 27-year-old drill rapper had reportedly just completed a meeting.

The rapper suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso at the intersection of Alexander Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard around 5:50 P.M.

According to local reports, police officers arrived to find Suave Drilly bleeding on the sidewalk and immediately began administering chest compressions.

Emergency medical services transported the Bedford Park resident to NYC Health and Hospitals Lincoln, where doctors pronounced him dead. Video footage circulating online shows the desperate life-saving efforts as shocked bystanders watched the scene unfold.

Suave Drilly’s breakthrough came with “Opp Spotter,” featuring Spazz Drilly and Good Day Ray, which accumulated over 900,000 views after his release from prison in January 2024.

The track launched just before his June 2020 arrest as part of a sweeping gang investigation. His goal was to reach one million views while staying focused on his music career.

The rapper’s motivation extended beyond personal success. Suave Drilly dedicated his work to keeping the Drilly name alive, “in memory of his fallen brother, Dumout Drilly,” who died in 2018.

Suave Drilly faced legal troubles as one of 20 alleged G-Side Drilly gang members arrested in April 2022 on charges including murder, shootings and stabbings.

Drill rap emerged as a controversial Hip-Hop subgenre addressing gang life and street violence. New York Mayor Eric Adams met with drill artists in February 2022, clarifying his position on the music.

“We pulled Trump off Twitter because of what he was spewing, yet we are allowing music, displaying of guns, violence, we are allowing it to stay on the site because look at the victims. We’re bringing [social media companies] in, we’re going to show exactly what is being displayed, and we are alarmed by it. We are alarmed by the use of social media to really over-proliferate this violence in our communities,” Adams explained.

No arrests have been made in the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding Suave Drilly’s death.

Drake Unleashes Brutal Bars Against A$AP Rocky On New Snippet

Drake unleashed a new snippet from his upcoming album “ICEMAN” that appears to target A$AP Rocky and other rappers, marking his first musical response since his defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group was tossed out of court earlier this month.

The Toronto rapper delivered pointed bars over an ominous beat, with lyrics that many interpret as direct shots at Rocky’s recent legal troubles and loyalty issues within A$AP Mob.

“Talk about Drake and you get a whole lot/Talk about Drake and you get you some streams,” Drake raps in the leaked audio.

The most pointed verses seem aimed at Rocky’s assault trial involving A$AP Relli, where Drake questions loyalty among crew members.

“Man how the f### is your day one gonna testify so you can sit in a box/Either you ain’t never did s### for your brothers or they must’ve forgot,” he delivers with calculated precision.

This musical retaliation comes as Drake faces mounting criticism following his legal defeat against UMG. The judge dismissed his defamation case over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which labeled him a “certified pedophile.”

Drake initially accused UMG of artificially inflating the track’s streams before pivoting to defamation claims.

A$AP Rocky recently criticized Drake’s legal strategy in interviews with ELLE Magazine, calling the lawsuit counterproductive to Hip-Hop culture.

Rocky described the Drake-Kendrick battle as “healthy for Hip-Hop” while questioning Drake’s decision to involve lawyers rather than responding musically.

The timing appears strategic as Drake prepares to release ICEMAN, his ninth solo project. Johnny Manziel previously hinted at a November release window for the album, which already features singles “Which One,” “What Did I Miss?” and “DOG HOUSE.”

A$AP Rocky’s comments about A$AP Mob’s current dysfunction may have provided additional ammunition for Drake’s bars.

“I played a father figure for a lot of these guys despite us being close in age,” Rocky told ELLE Magazine about managing internal conflicts within the collective.

The snippet represents Drake’s first substantial musical response since the Kendrick battle concluded with widespread consensus favoring the Compton rapper.

Drake’s ICEMAN album remains without an official release date beyond Manziel’s November speculation.

Ksoo’s Brother Gets 12 Years For Deadly Revenge Plot

Abdul Robinson Jr. took a 12-year prison sentence on Tuesday in Jacksonville after admitting guilt in the aftermath of a deadly ambush that left rapper Charles “Lil Buck” McCormick Jr. dead, dodging a possible life term by cooperating with prosecutors.

The 27-year-old brother of Hakeem “Ksoo” Robinson struck a plea deal that dropped first-degree murder charges in exchange for his testimony and acknowledgment of his role as an accessory after the fact in the 2020 killing.

He had originally been scheduled for a separate trial alongside his brother and co-defendant Leroy “ATK Scotty” Whitaker Jr.. The murder stemmed from a brutal feud between Jacksonville Hip-Hop crews ATK and KTA.

Prosecutors said Lil Buck was targeted after releasing a diss track titled “Young Show Off,” which mocked the death of Willie Addison, better known in the local rap scene as “Boss Goon.”

Addison was the stepson of Abdul Robinson Sr., who later turned state witness against both of his sons. The elder Robinson’s decision to testify against his own sons added another layer of complexity to the case. His statements helped prosecutors tie the family to the murder plot.

Dominique “Butta” Barner, the getaway driver in the January 15, 2020, shooting, told jurors during the summer trial that all four men drove past Lil Buck’s Arlington home to scope out the scene before the killing.

Barner testified that Ksoo “wanted him dead” over the diss track. Lil Buck was gunned down while sitting in his car at a shopping plaza after being followed from his home.

Investigators from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office pieced together the case using social media posts and lyrics that referenced the escalating gang rivalry.

Defense attorneys for both Ksoo and ATK Scotty argued that the state leaned too heavily on circumstantial evidence and that lyrics should not be treated as confessions.

Surveillance footage captured the fatal shooting, which prosecutors used to help secure convictions.

Despite their objections, both men were sentenced to life without parole on October 1, 2025. Ksoo and ATK Scotty have signaled plans to appeal.

First Taste Of Big L’s Posthumous Album Arrives With Nas-Assisted “U Ain’t Gotta Chance”

Big L is returning to the spotlight 26 years after his death with Harlem’s Finest: Return of the King, a posthumous album arriving October 31, featuring long-awaited collaborations with Nas and JAY-Z, and executive produced by his estate.

The announcement dropped alongside the release of “u aint gotta chance,” a new track featuring Nas, now streaming on all major platforms. The single marks the first official preview of the project, which is part of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It campaign honoring seven legendary Hip-Hop artists: Slick Rick, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Mobb Deep, Big L, De La Soul and Nas with DJ Premier.

The album is being promoted as Big L’s final and definitive body of work, with production led by the Estate of Lamont “Big L” Coleman and associate producers Mike “Heron” Herard and Royce 5’9. Additional contributors are expected to be revealed in the lead-up to the Halloween release.

Before his death in 1999, Big L had been days away from signing a deal with Roc-A-Fella Records. At just 24, he was already recognized as one of Hip-Hop’s most gifted lyricists, known for his razor-sharp punchlines, streetwise storytelling and complex rhyme patterns. His 1995 debut Lifestyles ov da Poor & Dangerous featured production from Lord Finesse, Showbiz and Buckwild, and included guest spots from Cam’ron and a then-unknown Jay-Z.

Between 1997 and 1999, Big L recorded with the Diggin’ in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.), a collective that included Fat Joe, Lord Finesse, Showbiz, O.C., Diamond D and A.G. After leaving Tommy Boy Records, he had been preparing to sign with Roc-A-Fella before he was shot and killed in Harlem.

His first posthumous album, The Big Picture, was released in 2000 through Rawkus Records and has since been certified gold. The project, executive produced by DJ Premier, featured appearances from 2Pac, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Guru and Remy Ma, among others. Tracks like “Ebonics,” “Deadly Combination,” and “Flamboyant” cemented his legacy as one of Hip-Hop’s most respected lyricists.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Nas reflected on Big L’s impact and what his presence could have meant for the genre had he lived.

“Big L was always ahead of his time. There’s some quotes out there from me about Big L, like how terrifyingly good that he was that made me have to step up my game. We were both signed to Columbia Records and I think the world never got a chance to get Big L the way they wanted him,” Nas said. “It’s a blessing to have this celebration of him, and it’s a reminder that there’s different variants of hip hop and they’re all dope, but when it comes to lyricists, Big L’s the standard. A lot of people are safe out there and rap because Big L’s not no longer around.

“There’s a lot of stuff floating around today that’s really not good. This album will remind you that it’s not about hype, it’s about art. And that’s what Big L’s doing with this album, reminding the world, reminding New York, that even though there’s different styles that you should do and play with, which are very dope, never forget what this s### comes from. The roots of this s### is serious talent.”

Comic Artists at NYCC Unite Against AI: “It’s A March Toward Mediocrity”

The Resistance Is Real: Artists Sound Off on AI at New York Comic Con

At this year’s New York Comic Con, the debate over generative artificial intelligence  (GenAI) wasn’t confined to panels or tech booths. As I pushed through Artist Alley, I marveled at the artists and creators that pour their souls into their artistry. And, became upset. Really upset.

As a youth, I came up knowing, studying and appreciating the supreme art of Denys Cowan. He is the trailblazing co-founder of Milestone Media, veteran of DC Comics and much more. So, I decided to speak to the legend and other phenomenal talents about what they thought. The range of views was serious, from AI being “a march toward mediocrity” to “f##k AI.” Goosebumps cover artist Tim Jacobus took it easier, compared it to the dawn of digital art. Still, he admitted GenAI could ultimately be adapted in the worst of ways.

From comic legends to rising indie creators, the conversation was clear: AI is shaking the creative world to its core. These people, artists who’ve built their careers on human imagination and countless hours honing their craft, are contend with an inevitable invasion. No matter what, these artists are determined to defend human creativity. AllHipHop’s Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur went booth to booth to hear what the real creatives think about the rise of the machines.

AllHipHop: What do you think about AI and its place in creative work?

Denys Cowan (Founder of Milestone Media, pioneering artist on The QuestionBatmanDeathlok):
I’m not a big fan of AI. I think it’s a march toward mediocrity. It’s easy to get on a computer and say some words and then the program rips off every artist around, going through thousands of images to paste together something that doesn’t even look real. Then people take credit for it as if they did something when they didn’t. They’re not artists — they’re people talking to machines. Don’t ever confuse that with something worthwhile in comics.

Dirk Manning (Writer and creator, Source Point Press):
The toothpaste is out of the tube. AI exists. It’s real, and it’s evolving. But nothing replaces human ingenuity or creativity. Generative AI doesn’t generate — it cultivates and harvests from other material. It’s not original. That’s why more than ever we need to double down on human-created work, on original ideas. That’s where real creativity lives.

Carlations (Illustrator):
Stay with human artists forever. You want art painted by hand, created by hand, with a human brain. That’s it. That’s my whole thought.

Imanuel Smith (Digital Imaging Technician, member of the International Cinematographers Guild):
I don’t feel AI is reliable for creatives. True creativity comes from human beings — from our walks of life and personal experiences. AI appeals to people who are lazy and not creative. It makes it easier for the mediocre to stay in control. But as long as there are real human beings, there will always be a need for our perspective. I’m not worried about AI taking jobs — people will reject it.

Tim Jacobus (Artist, known for Goosebumps covers):
Like it or not, AI is coming. You can either fight it or learn to go with it. I remember when digital art came out — everyone said art was dead. It wasn’t. It just changed. Maybe AI can assist us. We don’t want it taking over, but it might be a new tool we learn to use.

TJ Sterling (Rae Comics, Okemus):
I can’t stand AI. It’s not for the people. It’s not for the culture. We don’t want something that doesn’t have a soul generating art. We want human beings making art — that’s the only way forward for creativity.

Greg Anderson Elysée (Writer, Is’nana the Were-Spider):
F##k AI. It makes people lazy. It steals artwork and takes away jobs. A lot of my homies have lost gigs over it. It’s feeding a machine that takes away our soul and sells it back to us. I’m done with it — down with the Terminators, down with the Matrix. F##k AI.

AllHipHop: So what’s next for artists in this new AI era?

Denys Cowan:
We keep creating. The real stuff — with hands, heart, and history. That’s what lasts.

Dirk Manning:
We remind the world that art comes from struggle, sweat, and soul — not software.

Greg Anderson Elysée:
We fight back. You can’t automate passion.

AI may be here to stay, but the resistance is loud and proud. From comic book titans to rising creators, the consensus at New York Comic Con says clearly, “machines can’t truly mimic humanity.” As one artist put it: “We’re not worried. People will always know the difference.”

Benzino Rips Charleston White For Targeting Young Black Men & Hiding Behind Police

Benzino torched Charleston White with a blistering takedown, calling out the controversial internet personality for his history of antagonizing rappers and accusing him of hiding behind law enforcement after provoking drama.

The former Source Magazine head addressed White during an appearance on “The Danza Project” podcast.

“Charleston White was a little ugly n#### from Dallas or wherever the f### he’s from. Little cockeyed n#### that never got p#### right?” Benzino said. “Married some woman that was taking care of him because you know, God bless her, but she’s not a looker. You know what I’m saying? Compared to now, he’s going crazy over some chick now. But when you look at his wife, you know he married her because she was taking care of him. A great church lady that probably has some money or something that was taking care of his little ugly ass.”

Benzino didn’t stop there. He likened White to Ephialtes, the deformed traitor from the film 300, saying, “the little hunchback n#### that wasn’t accepted,” and adding that White is “finally getting attention.”

Benzino’s criticism centered on what he sees as Charleston White’s pattern of stirring up conflict online—especially with younger Black men—and then involving the authorities once tensions escalate.

“He’s an agitator. He causes problems. Very disrespectful. Disrespectful [to] people’s mothers. Disrespectful [to] the dead. You don’t do that,” Benzino said. “And why are you doing it to these young Black men, regardless of what they’re doing and how they’re doing? Why are you doing it to them? You’re agitating them.”

He continued, “You were the agitator and the aggressor at first. They never did nothing to you. They didn’t know who you was. And then after they see you, if they do something, now you go to the police.”

White has made headlines over the last few years for threatening to involve police or federal authorities in disputes with Hip-Hop artists. In May 2024, he said he contacted the FBI over alleged threats from Boosie Badazz, backing up his claims with screenshots and videos. In 2022, he threatened T.I.’s son King Harris with jail time after a public spat, again citing safety concerns and potential legal action.

NBA YoungBoy Performs Lil Durk & King Von Diss In Atlanta With Lul Tim Onstage

NBA YoungBoy caused a stir online after performing his 2022 track “I Hate YoungBoy” in Atlanta for the first time, standing next to Lul Tim, the man once charged in the 2020 killing of King Von.

The performance took place during the Atlanta stop of YoungBoy’s 2025 MASA Tour on Wednesday (October 15).

The song, which sees YoungBoy target his rivals, including Lil-Durk, Gucci Mane, and Lil Baby, was met with loud cheers—even though the lyrics criticize some of the city’s most prominent rappers.

Clips of the moment quickly surfaced online, sparking intense commentary.

One user wrote, “lil durk locked up, his brother and best friend gone, whole hood slowly getting wiped and yb dissing him.” Another added, “He got lul tim right next to him the entire time…they on timing.”

A third chimed in, “Dissed Lil Baby and Gucci Mane in their home cities and performed this song where Durk lives and Von died… And the crowd screamed all the lyrics.”

The track “I Hate YoungBoy,” released in 2022, was a direct response to Lil Durk’s “AHHH HA.”

In it, YoungBoy calls out Durk and references King Von’s murder, while also dissing Gucci Mane for working with Durk.

Lul Tim Beats King Von Murder Charges

Tension between YoungBoy and Durk has simmered for years, especially after King Von was shot and killed outside an Atlanta nightclub in 2020.

Authorities say the altercation involved Von’s crew and associates of YoungBoy, including Quando Rondo and Lul Tim. Six people were shot in the exchange, and three died, including Von.

Lul Tim was arrested and charged with felony murder in Von’s death. But in August 2023, prosecutors dropped the charges before indictment, citing self-defense.

YoungBoy’s Atlanta performance came just weeks after his scheduled Chicago show was abruptly canceled.

While no official reason was provided, online speculation tied the cancellation to his long-standing beef with the city’s drill scene, particularly Lil Durk.

Nas Calls On Kendrick Lamar For A Future Collaboration

Nas brought up Kendrick Lamar and a potential collaboration during a new interview, saying he’s ready whenever the vibe is right.

He shared his admiration for Kendrick Lamar during a sit-down with Complex published Wednesday (October 15), opening the door to a collab.

“Oh man, you know, it’s just all about the artist. When you get the chance to record and work together, it, to me, it should feel like really natural and, you know that would be great,” Nas said.

“I’d love to work with him, but I feel like it just has to be smooth the way it connects, you know, ‘cuz it just got to be fire,” he added. “Anything I do with anybody, especially someone like him, I just want to take my time with.”

The Queensbridge legend then extended an open invitation: “So, we’ll see. Hopefully, you’d be so kind to do a song with your brother, man.”

He didn’t stop there. Nas sent a message to the entire rap community: “All you MCs out there, man, give me a call, man. Got some verses here and there.”

Nas Hails Kendrick Lamar As “The One”

This isn’t the first time Nas has praised Kendrick. In a recent interview, he called the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Hip-Hop’s “North Star,” calling him “one of the top-tier lyricists and creators in the game,” adding, “he’s the one.”

Nas’ respect for Kendrick runs deep, and the feeling is mutual. Kendrick has cited Nas as a significant influence on his own work.

While fans continue to hope for a joint track, Nas has been busy behind the scenes. He’s gearing up to release a new project with DJ Premier under the Mass Appeal Legend Has It series.

The upcoming album, entirely produced by Premier, is expected to drop in December and feature some of Hip-Hop’s most respected voices.

As for a Kendrick collaboration? It’s not on the calendar yet, but Nas made it clear — the door is wide open.

‘I’d be scared to drink it’: Woman tries to buy milk at Walmart. Then the price of the 2% gallon stops her in her tracks

A Georgia woman is stunned when she arrives in the milk aisle at Walmart and finds a gallon of 2% costs under $1.

TikTok user Josh’s Mom (@mrsheathere) posted a video with her discovery on Sep. 13. In the video, she is walking through her local Walmart.

“How much are y’all paying for milk where y’all are at?” she says. “I’m at Walmart trying to get groceries, and I needed some milk. I grab my little 2 percent milk, but you’ll never believe how much it is. $.92. A half gallon’s up here. $.53.”

She does acknowledge it’s not an across-the-board price. “This is on the Walmart brand milk,” she says. “When was the last time a gallon of milk was $.92? I can’t recall ever. This is just blowing my mind. Now what I need to see now is everything else come down a little bit.”

Viewers React to the Price of Walmart Milk

In the comments, viewers reacted with shock and jealousy at the low cost of Walmart milk where Josh’s mom lives.

“Can you mail me some milk?” joked one person.

A second person said, “Wait, what? I’m paying $4.58 in the Poconos, Pennsylvania.”

“Somebody messed up or it’s old,” guessed a third viewer.

Others said they wouldn’t consume milk that cheap. “I don’t trust it,” wrote one.

What Is Going On with the Price of Walmart Milk?

This  isn’t surplus or rancid milk being sold at a discount. Instead, it appears to be the product of Walmart’s decision to open a milk processing facility in Valdosta, Georgia, earlier this year. It’s part of an effort from Walmart to shore up its supply chains and maintain the prices of its Great Value and Sam’s Club’s Member Mark brands.

As far as whether the milk is trustworthy, it’s sourced from area farmers and bottled at the Walmart plant. The milk will go to approximately 750 Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in the Southeast. And with regard to Josh’s Mom’s hope that other goods will get the same treatment? Walmart is working to eventually implement similar strategies with beef and vegetables.

‘I’m scooping them up’: Missouri man goes to Walmart. Then he buys 6 Troy-Bilt riding lawn mowers

An Arkansas man goes to Walmart in Missouri and finds six Troy-Bilt riding lawn mowers at a significant discount.

TikTok user Arkansas Boy (@arkansasboyy1) was at a Missouri Walmart on Sep. 20 when he found a deal so good he had to capitalize.

“Walk… Do not run…” he says to start the video. “But I am getting the last six models they have at my local Walmart. All these Troy-Bilt motors: $695.”

Why Is This Troy-Bill Riding Lawn Mower Price Significant?

“These things are usually $2,595 or more,” he says. “This is in Missouri, so maybe in Arkansas too. But y’all call your local stores before going up there. These things are good, good looking for this price. I’m scooping up six of them. Y’all go scoop ‘em up while you can.”

In Arkansas Boy’s mind, this is the perfect resale opportunity. “That comes out to like $750” after taxes, he says. “You should be able to sell them anywhere from $1,000-$1,500 on the internet. This is an amazing, amazing deal for Marketplace, Amazon, whatever. I haven’t seen a clearance like that in a long time. Make sure you call your local places before you just boogie on up there and screw yourself out of time. Make sure to take your truck and trailer.”

Viewers React to the Walmart Troy-Bill Clearance ‘Deal’

In the caption, Arkansas Boy reveals the sad truth: “The most important part of it all is you need to call and make sure because it’s probably not true—because this is all a joke.”

In the comments section, viewers appeared to be too depressed about the high cost of riding mowers to even care about being pranked.

“That’s what they should be priced,” said one viewer.

“I remember when they was $599 new,” said a second person.

A third viewer joked, “Better off spending $700 on a reliable tractor from the 70s.”

Another person agreed. “Nice. Should get a solid week of use before they break down.”

The State of Troy-Bilt Riding Lawn Mowers

Troy-Bilt’s Bronco 46 Riding Lawn Mower retails for $2,299. It comes equipped with a 547cc engine, AutoDrive transmission, and a 46-inch, side-discharge, twin-blade, steel cutting deck design.

The company was founded in the 1930s and operated for decades by a parent company called Garden Way, which declared bankruptcy in 2001. After the bankruptcy, an Ohio company called MTD Product, Inc. purchased the Troy-Bilt assets. By 2011, the brand was struggling to compete with the Minneapolis-based Toro

Online reviews of the brand appear mixed. Some consumers express skepticism about longevity and durability. Others say that’s appropriate for what they view as an entry level mower. “If you know how to fix them, they are great,” wrote one Reddit user. “Mainly because people who don’t know will just throw them out. But if I’d put my money on a new mower I can buy in the store, I’m gonna go for a Toro.”

‘There might be a camera’: Orange County woman buys vibration plate. Then it starts broadcasting people speaking in another language

Maryana Dvorska (@maryanadvorska), an influencer based in Orange County, recently unboxed a vibration plate she purchased from the TikTok Shop. But she was freaked out after the plate began broadcasting audio of people speaking in another language as she was lying in bed.

The 36-second video shows an unnerved Dvorska, who might have been woken up from a nap.

“OK, I’m so scared right now,” she says. “So I was just laying on the bed right here, and earlier today, I unpackaged this, like, vibration plate that I got off of TikTok shop. Please watch this next video, because it just randomly started talking. And can somebody translate what they’re saying and what is going on? Do I need to get this thing out of my house? What is going on?”

What Language Is This Vibration Plate Speaking?

Dvorska has stitched in an eerie second video of a language that sounds Asian, but isn’t immediately distinguishable, coming from the vibration plate. The voices of what sounded like a conversation prompted a “whoa” from a male voice. The critical point here, though, is that the unit appears to have powered itself on, or has some latent power that keeps it from fully powering down.

Dvorska commented later that “someone said it has Bluetooth and most likely picked up a nearby frequency.” Another person concurred: “It’s most likely the Bluetooth! Mine also [connects] to my upstairs neighbors TV/computer sometimes. The last time it connected to a Teams meeting, and I could hear everything.”

However, many warned that the vibration plate, which people use for a variety of purposes, from muscle toning to improving circulation, could pose a risk to home security.

“There might even be a camera and a mic recording you,” said one commenter. “I would definitely get that out of my house immediately. It’s not worth the risk.”

Other TikTokers have had similar issues. One woman who detailed how her vibration plate suddenly cutting on didn’t make sense. Her family did not live near anyone close enough for Bluetooth connection to be a factor. It has also powered itself on somehow.

The TikTok Shop Device Dvorska Purchased

The device that Dvorska purchased on the TikTok shop, the Chinese-made Merach-brand PulseVib V30 Pro vibration plate, has Bluetooth connectivity designed to play music through the integrated speaker when connected to smartphones.

The TikTok Shop’s page for the item is rather light on specifics, mostly pushing different colors, reviews, photos, and other products.

In recent years, instances of Bluetooth being vulnerable to attacks that can compromise home devices and data storage surfaced online. People found that Bluetooth was used to eavesdrop on unsuspecting victims. Bad actors have also hacked into headphones, smartwatches, and vehicles to collect call logs, emails, and location histories.

According to Kaspersky, a cybersecurity firm, “most fitness trackers connect to your phone via Bluetooth. This means that potential security holes could allow hackers to access your information.” CNBC reported in 2022 that fitness trackers “generally connect to a user’s phone via Bluetooth, leaving personal data susceptible to hacking.” Aura, a digital security company, cites that “hackers and criminals can use your device’s Bluetooth connection to steal data or spy on you.”

Dvorska’s vibration plate scare is a reminder that smart fitness equipment can come with connectivity features that should be thoroughly researched. Consumer advocates and security experts recommend reviewing product specs out of the box or online. Users should also disable Bluetooth when they’re not using the device, and unpair all connections they don’t actively need.

‘They need to refund you’: New Yorker hires Taskrabbit to put up curtain rod. Then she sees what he did

A New York woman is outraged after the Taskrabbit she hired to put up a curtain rod leaves her wall full of holes.

TikTok user ProducHER (@producher_nyc/) posted a video about her experience last week. “Y’all, I hired a Taskrabbit and look what this [expletive] did,” she says to start the video. “Look what he did.”

What Did the Taskrabbit Do to This Woman’s Wall?

The audience doesn’t have to wait long to find out. The TikToker shows off a curtain rod that is barely hanging on with multiple holes in the drywall next to it. A nail is hanging out of one of the holes. “First of all, this is not even sturdy in the wall, “she says, jiggling the rod. “He created multiple holes in my wall. Look at my walls, y’all. And then, also, too, he left some blue marks. He’s like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t think it would be a problem.’ What?”

Viewers React to the Taskrabbit’s Handiwork

In the comments section, viewers expressed outrage on ProducHER’s behalf. More than one person said that Taskrabbit should compensate her for the damage. “Refund?! They need to pay you for the damage,” one wrote.

Others joked that they didn’t realize the quality of Taskrabbit work was so low. “You coulda did this,” wrote one person. A second said, “Me if I decided to be a Taskrabbit.”

Some viewers focused the blame on the Taskrabbit himself. “This is appalling,” wrote one person. “This man never used tools in his life. He clearly had no clue what he was doing.”

And another person said this would keep them from using the service in the future. “Welp, this just convinced me to not hire a Taskrabbit to put together my coffee table,” they wrote.

Will Taskrabbit Compensate You For Damages?

Taskrabbit notes on its website that it is not liable for “the acts or omissions of users” and its service does not include insurance coverage. However, the company will cover claims involving property damage, bodily injury, and theft for up to $10,000.

Of course, this “happiness pledge” comes along with fine print. The person submitting the claim can’t have violated the platform’s terms of service or previously submitted a claim related to the same task. The terms also ask that users first try to get the Taskrabbit to resolve the issue and even file a claim with their personal insurance if possible.

In practice, it’s less clear whether consumers benefit from this policy. In a Reddit post to r/TaskRabbit five months ago, a customer complained that the policy didn’t cover damages that occurred after 30 days. While some commenters offered sympathy, others said that’s the risk you run not going with a traditional contracting service.

“I believe that’s the cost we pay when we hire someone cheap from TaskRabbit instead of going with a professional company with insurance,” one said.

Nicki Minaj Slams Brakes On Retirement Talk, Promises Her Best Album Yet

Nicki Minaj flipped the script on her own exit announcement and told her supporters that she’s not walking away from music or shelving her 2026 album.

During an impromptu Twitter Spaces session late Wednesday night (October 15), the Queens-born rapper dismissed her previous claim that she was quitting and reassured her loyal base that she’s still in full control of her career.

“I am the conductor of this train,” she began. “Okay? When I want it to slow down, I slow it down. When I need it to speed up to give everyone a heart attack, I speed it up. But right before everyone thinks they’re about to go ‘Poof!’, I press the brakes. Why? Well, I don’t explain myself to c####, but I’ll explain myself to you. Why is because I can.”

The declaration came just 24 hours after Minaj stunned her followers with a post, claiming she was done with music and canceling her next album. “Ok I’m not going to put out the album anymore, she wrote. “No more music. Hope you’re happy now [JAY-Z]. Bye, Barbz. Love you for life.”

That post followed a string of accusations aimed at JAY-Z and Roc Nation, with Minaj alleging they tried to manipulate her into touring and releasing new music.

“They came BEGGING the QUEEN for a tour & album,’ she claimed. “I said NOPE!!!!! Wanted to patch it up. They needed help from the QUEEN & the BARBZ.”

She also mocked JAY-Z’s failed Times Square casino bid, writing, “It was a resounding NOOOOOOOO… just like the casinooooooooo.”

But by Wednesday night, the tone had shifted. Minaj said she had just written a “beautiful new song” and teased that her next project would be one of her best.

“Just know that I’m very happy with you guys and with the next chapter,” she added. “Nothing is going to stop that. We are in the best musical place I’ve ever been in, ever in my life. And just complete musical clarity.”

She added that the album would rank in the “top two” of her career and described her current creative state as a personal reintroduction.

“I don’t want to say rebirth, but like almost like an introduction to myself when I started. But not talking about the sound, which is normally what people talk about, but the person.”

Minaj also hinted that a global tour is still on the table. When a South African fan joined the Spaces chat and asked about a show in Johannesburg, she replied she’d have her team look into it.

Her remarks come amid a long-running feud with Roc Nation, which she has accused of blacklisting her, using bots against her, and profiting from the TIDAL sale without sharing revenue.

Nas Shares His Thoughts On Potential Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance

Nas shut down any speculation about ever headlining a Super Bowl Halftime Show during a recent interview, saying he’d rather watch from the sidelines than take center stage.

“I can’t say I don’t want to do a Super Bowl, but I don’t,” he told Complex. “Why would I do that? Leave it to the professionals.”

While Nas acknowledged, “I’m a pro at what I do,” the Super Bowl is not for him.

The Queensbridge legend made it clear that the glitz and spectacle of the NFL’s biggest night isn’t his scene. “

I want to watch dope halftime shows,” he added. “And that’s what has been happening lately, so salute to all of them.”

As Bad Bunny gears up to make history as the first solo Spanish-language artist to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2026, Nas is staying focused on his own creative path—one that’s never relied on stadium-sized theatrics.

Nas Joins Forces With DJ Premier

Instead of chasing arena lights, Nas has been immersed in his latest collaboration with DJ Premier.

The two Hip-Hop veterans have joined forces for a highly anticipated joint album, which marks the first full-length project between the longtime collaborators.

The album, still untitled publicly, is set to drop in December as part of the Mass Appeal series Legend Has It

The still-untitled album is slated for release in December as part of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It… series — a campaign celebrating seven legendary Hip-Hop acts: Nas & DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Mobb Deep, De La Soul, Big L, and Slick Rick, each dropping brand-new projects throughout 2025.

Though he called the Super Bowl performance “super rockstar s###,” Nas has always leaned into lyrical craftsmanship and cultural impact over flash.

Since his 1994 debut, Illmatic, widely hailed as one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums ever made, Nas has remained committed to storytelling and substance.
