Sukihana recently sat down with Math Hoffa for the battle rapper’s My Expert Opinion podcast. The conversation included Suki explaining why she does not date men in the industry.
“I haven’t really talked to nobody in the music business. I be liking street n#####, for real,” Sukihana told Math Hoffa and the rest of his crew.
The Love & Hip Hop: Miami alumna also stated, “A lot of n##### in the music industry f### n#####. Do I wanna f### somebody that f### n#####? Nope.”
Additionally, Sukihana said, “Everybody’s gay… A lot of people are gay behind the scenes. No shade. I be gay sometimes too, so I would never judge nobody.”
Like Sukihana, several notable female rappers came out as bisexual. Male rappers like Lil Nas X, Isaiah Rashad and Taylor Bennett have spoken publicly about their same-sex attraction.
While homosexuality has been a taboo topic in Hip-Hop culture, some modern-day straight men have been more supportive of the LGBTQ community.
For example, Sukihana’s “S### Me Out Remix” collaborator NLE Choppa responded to speculation about his sexuality with a positive response.
In 2022, NLE Choppa tweeted, “I LOVE all so I don’t mind attracting both genders, but most importantly my sexual preference is women.”
Rick Ross has major expansion plans for his self-made zoo and has ordered a pair of elephants and some giraffes for his “Promise Land” zoo.
On Thursday (June 6) the MMG honcho took to his Instagram story to announce his plans. According to Ross, he’s ordering new animals and is taking steps to make his zoo legit.
“I just ordered two elephants, two elephants, a male and a female. Promise Land, get ready,” Ross began. “I’m a have and own two elephants that I can take care of and nurture that’s why I’ve already filed for my Zoo license.”
Rick Ross revealed he wants to “rescue an elephant” so he can nourish the animal and intends to have a “young lady rubbing [the elephant’s] undercarriage.”
Ross initially intended to start his zoo back in 2020 with giraffes but had to settle for buffalo. Now he’s gearing up to bring the creatures, the tallest terrestrial animals on earth, to the 235-acre estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.
“It takes time but guess what I am buying right now? Two giraffes,” Ross added. ”You going to have to climb up somewhere real tall to feed them things.”
Furthermore, once the elephants and giraffes arrive, Rick Ross wants Eddie Murphy to film Dr. Doolittle and Coming To America sequels at the Promise Land.
Rick Ross Extending Estate To Address Car Show Issues
After announcing his zoo plans, Rick Ross turned his attention to the controversy following his annual car show earlier this month, claiming he’s extended his property to accommodate the large crowds.
“I wouldn’t be the biggest if I didn’t address this,” he said. “For any and everyone that couldn’t make it into that Rick Ross car show, I just bought another 100 acres I’m chopping all the trees down.
Rick Ross may have some issues with his neighbors once the elephants and giraffes are housed in his zoo. He got into hot water with locals last year after allowing his buffalo to roam free, causing the enormous beats to traverse onto an adjoining property.
Jaguar Wright has been going viral recently after making wild accusations about industry figures, but now the singer is making headlines following reports she’s been arrested.
On Thursday (June 6) several outlets reported that Wright was accused of theft of property between $30K-$150K. She was booked in Dallas earlier on Thursday and is believed to be behind bars.
While further details surrounding her arrest are scarce, rumors are circulating on social media that Wright was nabbed for stealing a truck.
Wright allegedly called into the Sean Davie Way Show during a livestream, claiming there is “no charge” to keep her locked up. She also blamed blogger Tasha K for her arrest and vowed to sue. Furthermore, Wright asked the host to contact CNN in light of the situation and claimed she was arrested to prevent her from speaking out.
In recent months, Wright had touted various theories across a range of appearances, making accusations about Diddy, Jay-Z and Beyoncé and many others.
Earlier this week, Wright joined forces with reality TV personality Tokyo Toni, where the duo claimed Justin Biber performed a sex act on Odell Beckham Jr. at one of Diddy’s swanky parties.
Wright also claimed Nicki Minaj was responsible for leaking alleged audio of Diddy and Meek Mill. Additionally, Wright recently insisted that Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion have a hidden past despite the beef. According to Wright, Meg and Nicki made a sex tape, and she’s seen the proof, having watched it herself.
50 Cent is taking tips from Tyler Perry after expanding his ever-growing entertainment empire with the launch of G-Unit Film & Television studio in Shreveport, Louisiana.
On Thursday (June 6), 50 Cent was in his hometown at the Power Book II: Ghost season 4 premiere. Fiddy and the cast were also on hand to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the original Power show, which debuted in 2014.
AllHipHop was in attendance during a speech from the G-Unit honcho reflecting on his journey into film and television, promising much more to come. 50 Cent also revealed he’s taking advice from media mogul Tyler Perry to avoid potential pitfalls with his new studio.
“So I talked to Tyler on my way here,” 50 Cent told the crowd. “Tyler is no joke. He’ll f### you up if you think he ‘Madea.’ He don’t talk to me like that. I don’t know if he’s tougher when I’m he’s talking to me, but it just feels like I can learn some things from him.
‘So I’ll be out in Atlanta shortly to look at his facility so I can not make some mistakes that I could potentially make,” he added.
50 Cent also teased further projects in the works and wants Perry’s help to elevate into a “premium space,” in the industry. “There’s so much more to come. I’m standing in front of you, I currently have 34 shows across 10 different networks, you only aware of four,” he added.
“So my idea that to push diversity, it’s going to work. It’s been working to this point, it’s going to continue to work,” Fiddy continued. “But the idea is to bring in the premium space. I want to see myself in that kind of show. I don’t want to see myself in the cheaper [space].”
50 Cent’s G-Unit Studios reportedly became the second-largest Black-owned production studio in the world after Tyler Perry’s studio. After launching, fans jokingly compared Fiddy to Perry for following in his footsteps.
Lil Wayne won’t perform one of his rare deep-cuts featuring Kendrick Lamar, and it’s not what fans may think. At a recent concert, Lil Wayne addressed a fan’s request to see him perform “Mona Lisa” featuring K. Dot. But rather than address the bivouac elephant in the room, being that Kendrick and his protégé Drake were just involved in a fierce rap beef, Weezy spoke candidly, which in turn, created a moment that highlighted both his humility and dedication to his craft.
“People in front, listen, listen,” Lil Wayne said in part. “This is the second time I seen this within my last three shows. Somebody had a sign that said to do ‘Mona Lisa.’ I’m not sure if that means you, if y’all said y’all real Lil Wayne. So if you real Lil Wayne fans, do you know I don’t know the lyrics to my s###.”
As he continued, Wayne explained that there was more too the situation than just taking the time to perform the record—at least on his end.
“Do you know how hard that f###### song is, girl? You know what I mean?” Wayne continued, highlighting the difficulty of performing the song live. “I don’t like to rap the words, but I’m going to learn that s###. I’m going to learn it. I’m going to learn. I got you.”
Among his many songs, “Mona Lisa” stands out as a particularly challenging and noteworthy track. Released on September 28, 2018, “Mona Lisa” features Kendrick’s guest verse and was produced by Infamous and Angel “Onhel” Aponte. The song, part of Lil Wayne’s critically acclaimed album Tha Carter V, is widely considered a storytelling masterpiece that explores themes of deceit and betrayal through a gripping narrative. With intricate verses that weave a tale of a femme fatale, the track showcases Wayne’s lyrical prowess and storytelling ability.
The track “Mona Lisa” is renowned not only for its compelling story but also for its technical complexity. The song contains a staggering 94 bars, divided between Lil Wayne and Kendrick, with each artist delivering intense, rapid-fire verses that leave little room for error. Some of the lyrics that stand out include Wayne’s opening lines, “I got a story to tell, you know that I cherish these/Hop up in the coupe and I vanish.”
Despite the challenges of performing such a lyrically dense track, Lil Wayne’s promise to his fans was clear. Not to mention one could conclude that Wayne doesn’t have a dog in the fight concerning Drake and Kendrick’s conflict, despite his close relationship with Drizzy.
“This is for her and for the ‘Mona Lisa’ lovers. But this ain’t ‘Mona Lisa,’ but this for y’all. Let’s go,” he concluded, offering a different song in place of the requested track, but ensuring his audience felt appreciated and acknowledged.
Metro Boomin faced criticism from his sister over how he handled his issues with Drake and Soulja Boy. The producer’s sister called him out for never publicly responding to Soulja Boy insulting their late mother and devoting so much energy to the Drake beef.
“I thought about something,” she said on Instagram Stories. “This n#### Drake say, ‘Shut the f### up and make some drums,’ right? This n#### gets so out of his body and bothered by what he said, he go above and beyond to respond with a song. This n#### Soulja Boy say he sacrificed our mom and what this b#### say? Not a m############ thing. This n#### went quiet. This n#### didn’t say nothing. So that’s something you allowing people to think about you, but you get outcho body when a n#### call you a ho and tell you to make some drums. That s### bothers you? But when a n#### speaking on your momma, yo b#### ass don’t say s###? And I’m the crazy one? Yeah, okay.”
Soulja Boy repeatedly disrespected Metro’s mother, who was murdered in 2022, on social media in May. The outspoken rapper unexpectedly targeted Metro over a Twitter post from 12 years ago. Soulja Boy apologized after several days of online attacks.
“I apologize to @MetroBoomin for over reacting over an old tweet,” he wrote. “Condolences to his mom. I’m going to seek therapy and anger management. I’m done responding to hate, new or old.”
Drake dissed Metro on the song “Push Ups,” which dropped amid the OVO star’s much-discussed feud with Kendrick Lamar (and others).
“Metro, shut your ho ass up and make some drums, n####,” Drake quipped.
Metro fired back by releasing an instrumental diss track titled “BBL Drizzy.” The song went viral, spawning various versions of “BBL Drizzy.”
A school crossing guard named Kiara Lee has been arrested for peddling tobacco and marijuana to minors. The 26-year-old Penn Wood Middle School employee was apprehended after a series of shocking revelations surfaced, exposing her disgraceful behavior with students.
Text messages between Lee and a student unveiled their disturbing conversations about consuming edibles, authorities confirmed. Delaware County District Attorney Stollsteimer didn’t hold back, condemning Lee’s betrayal of public trust. “School crossing guards epitomize the role of public servant. They are entrusted with the lives of our children and hold a position of sacred trust. For an individual to abuse that trust is deeply disturbing and corrosive to the well-being of the entire community,” he declared.
WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL SYSTEM WOULD HIRE THIS DEGENRATE? APPEARANCE IS THE FIRST RED FLAG — Delaware County Police arrested 26 yr old Kiara Lee, a Pennsylvania middle school crossing guard, for giving students drugs, cigarettes, marijuana edibles, and smoking weed with one of them pic.twitter.com/DpAFWj9rgf
Lee now faces serious charges, including possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and corruption of minors. Outraged parents voiced their fury and disbelief. “It’s already bad enough as a parent, keeping them away from influences, but to hear that an employee of the borough would even sell to kids. It’s insane,” exclaimed Maya Bryant. Malekka Dade echoed the sentiment, “It’s a shame to have these people on these corners to do their job, to protect children, and now you’re telling me the kids are receiving drugs from them? It’s utterly disgusting.”
The Borough of Darby expressed their dismay in a statement, placing Lee on administrative suspension and banning her from their facilities pending an internal investigation. “We are grateful for the men and women of the Darby Borough Police Department for their hard work in making sure our community is safe,” the statement read.
The scandal doesn’t end there. Witnesses reported seeing Lee handing out e-cigarettes and weed edibles to middle schoolers, with one student’s guardian alleging that Lee had been supplying their child with vapes and marijuana edibles. Adding to the horror, there are claims that Lee even smoked weed with a student, maintaining contact through text messages where they shared their experiences with the drugs.
Darby Borough Chief Joseph Gabe minced no words, expressing the community’s outrage. “While marijuana might not seem like a big deal to some folks in the community, I think we can all agree that crossing guards should not be providing narcotics — even if it is ‘just’ marijuana — to our kids,” he stated emphatically.
Facing two felony counts of drug possession with intent to deliver, two misdemeanor counts of corruption of a minor and two misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, Lee was unable to post the $20,000 bail. She now finds herself behind bars in the Delaware County jail scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 14. The community will be watching closely, demanding justice for this gross betrayal of trust.
Flavor Flav has announced his own SiriusXM show with LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio titled Flavor of the Week. The premiere is scheduled for June 10 at 10 p.m. ET.
The Public Enemy legend made the big reveal via Instagram on Thursday (June 6), writing, “FLAVOR FLAV::: Getting ready to ROCK YOUR BELLS every Monday with the Flavor of the Week on Rock the Bells Radio on SiriusXM,,, broadcasting from the new Sirius Studios at the Wynn Las Vegas!!”
Flavor Flav is a man of many talents; not only does he play multiple instruments, he’s also omnipresent lately in the world of pop culture. From attending Taylor Swift concerts and advocating for Red Lobster’s redemption to sponsoring the U.S. Women’s Olympic Polo Team, nothing is off limits for the spry 65-year-old.
In January, Flavor Flav and fellow Public Enemy member Chuck D reconvened for a track called “Everywhere Man.” While not necessarily a Public Enemy reunion track, it marked the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees’ first collaboration in years. The concept sprouted from Chuck, who noticed Flav was popping up in the most unexpected placess.
With the assistance of new technology, “Everywhere Man” was translated into 27 different languages. They collaborated with artists around the globe to get the rhythm and music right in each of the languages, which included Arabic, Bangladesh, Chinese, Dutch, French and German.
It began last spring, when Flavor Flav was a guest speaker at Harvard University. While there, he and Sam Hollander worked with students from the Harvard Business School’s Innovation Lab. They eventually formed an A.I. company, Harv Aid, to best translate and perform the song.
“I give my thanks to God for even being able to have the power and opportunity to do all of this,” Flavor Flav told AllHipHop at the time. “A lot of brothers from our era aren’t here to talk about it, but God has been preserving us. We ended up becoming mouth pieces to the world. Our music, it helped shape and change a lot of people’s lives and it even helped change our own. I’m just grateful to be able to wake up today.”
And that zest for life will surely be evident on Flavor of the Week. After all, Flav’s colorful personality never fails to inspire.
Pharrell is flipping the biopic concept on its head with his film Piece by Piece, which hits theaters on October 11. The acclaimed artist told his life story through Lego animation with the help of director Morgan Neville.
“What we made is not like any other movie,” Pharrell told Variety. “I don’t know what a comp for it would be. People can try and label it. It’s just its own film. It’s mind-blowing, in a way, the freedom that we were able to put together in the film, but that only works if you’re channeling your subject.”
The Neptunes producer was reluctant to agree to a biopic when his agent approached him with the idea years ago. Pharrell changed his mind when he was given the creative freedom to do whatever he wanted.
“Everyone was doing [biopics] at the time, and I was like, ‘Hell no,'” he said. “I never want to do what everybody else is doing. Everybody’s taking the Lincoln Tunnel, then I want to take a plane … But when he finally said the magic words, ‘You can do it any way you want,’ I knew deep down inside that I wanted to do it through Lego.”
The upcoming film features Lego versions of Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Timbaland and more.
“Everybody comes through so well. It’s so captivating when you see it,” Pharrell said. “I enjoy stop-motion animation. But that’s not what this is.”
Pharrell also created two new tracks for the movie.
“There are two new compositions,” he said. “One is made for a specific scene. And the other one is made for a specific scene but tells the story; it’s like my thesis — [which is] that God is the greatest, that awareness, just understanding that that’s the story.
“The rest of the music is music that Chad [Hugo] and I made together and songs also that I made by myself, and that we produced and wrote for other people. It’s one big fun musical documentary biopic.”
Halsey disclosed more details about the health struggles referenced in her new song “The End.” The Columbia Records singer said she was diagnosed with lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022.
“Thank you guys for the unbelievable amount of love for ‘The End’ and the support you’ve shown me since its release,” she wrote on Instagram. “I realize everyone is catching up with news I’ve held in for a very long time, and I wasn’t sure how much I wanted to share. You’ve all been so kind so I want to share a bit more.”
She continued, “In 2022, I was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. Both of which are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life. After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I’m feeling better and I’m more grateful than ever to have music to turn to. I can’t wait to get back where I belong: With you all. Singing and screaming my heart out.”
Halsey told fans she was “lucky to be alive” when she released “The End” on Tuesday (June 4). She tagged the Lupus Research Alliance and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in a post promoting the single.
“Every couple of years now, a doctor says I’m sick/Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks and then they lay it on me/And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain/And I don’t like to complain, but I’m saying sorry/When I met you, I thought I was damaged goods/Had a f##### up childhood/And there’s poison in my brain and in my blood,” she sang on “The End.”
Ice Spice responded to criticism of her debut albumY2K’s cover art on Thursday (June 6). The Capitol Records artist insisted the album’s title was intentionally placed on a trash can for the cover.
“David LaChapelle is #Y2K!” she wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “soooo sweet + legendary he didn’t even charge me c## he f#### wit a real b####. thank U for all the incredible art you’ve put out through the years this cover means everything to me & yes Y2K was placed on the trash can on purpose can u guess why?”
Top Dawg Entertainment’s Reason was among the many people questioning Ice Spice’s Y2K cover art on social media. He believed the title’s placement on a trash can was a mistake.
“Nobody caught putting the name on a trash can as a mistake?” he wrote. “Being serious like somebody on the team gotta catch that right?”

Ice Spice’s Y2K is scheduled to drop on July 26. She said her mom inspired the album in an interview with Apple Music.
“Thankfully, I had my mom, so growing up I’d see her really embody the ‘Y2K’ aesthetic in its truest form,” she explained. “It’s duck nails. It’s a tramp stamp. It’s brown lip liner no matter where you go. So, thankfully I had her as my inspo growing up. And of course, just like the internet, you feel me? Just like anyone else.”
She continued, “The crazy thing is it wasn’t just a definitive moment, it was just this ongoing process of, ‘What should we name the album?’ And then I have a book full of pages of album names and different ideas, and I just really find the beauty and simplicity and I was just like, ‘You know what? I want it to be short. I don’t want it to be this super long phrase.’ It was going to go either way. It was going to be super long phrase or one word. There was no in between for me.”
Y2K will feature 10 songs. Ice Spice’s debut album includes her singles “Think U the S### (Fart)” and “Gimme a Light.”

Hot 97’s 2024 Summer Jam concert featured some of music’s top stars. For example, New York native Method Man and New Jersey native Redman hit the stage at New York’s USB Arena on Sunday (June 2).
Following the show, Method Man expressed his frustration with the audience’s reaction to his performance. The Wu-Tang Clan member took to social media to share his thoughts on the situation.
“Not our crowd at all,” Meth wrote on Instagram. “Thanks again, New York and the whole tri-state (that showed up to the event) plus Pete [Rosenberg] and Ebro [Darden] I got love for you guys, but never again. At this point, the generation gap is just too wide for me. #nevercomingback.”
TMZ caught up with Soulja Boy to get his reaction to Method Man’s remarks about this year’s Summer Jam. According to the “Crank That” hitmaker, the New York crowd should have been more aware of the iconic MC.
“I don’t think he means that. He probably just in his feelings,” Soulja Boy said about Method Man’s declaration to never return to Summer Jam. “He’s probably gonna perform at a future event. But shout out to him.”
The 33-year-old Atlanta-bred rapper also stated, “That’s New York, though. Everybody’s supposed to know who he is. I don’t know, that’s crazy. There probably was a lot of young people in the audience.”
In addition, Soulja Boy referred to Method Man as a legend. He then suggested the 53-year-old Tical 2000: Judgement Day album creator will return to Summer Jam in the future.

Azealia Banks slammed Rihanna and A$AP Rocky while defending Chris Brown and calling out critics for canceling the singer.
The controversial artist has spent the past couple of days ranting about the industry and her peers in her Instagram Stories. On Wednesday night (Jun 5), she turned to Chris Brown. Banks branded Brown “the best artist of this generation,” and described the backlash over his assault on Rihanna as “self-righteous b#######.”
Banks then went in on Rihanna, claiming A$AP Rocky is gay and suggesting the Fenty billionaire would have been better off with Chris Brown.
“Look at who she’s with now,” Banks began. “A n#### that wears back-out shirts. He’s on camera shooting one of his best friends … on camera kicking a female fan in the face. Really?”
She continued, trashing A$AP Rocky’s rapping abilities and accusing him of hiding his sexuality. “Rocky’s definitely a butch queen. I don’t know how nobody told Rihanna that. Maybe she like it, maybe she’s into that stuff. But Rocky’s definitely not a straight man,” Banks added.
“Are we really responsible for trying to make Chris Brown’s life a living hell if sis is not responsible enough to make good choices of partner? It’s kinda weird,” Banks stated. “Rihanna’s done a lot of menacing and a lot of f###### with b###### just to end up with a gay boy. A broke untalented gay boy at that.”
Azalea Banks Goes In On Cardi B, Doja Cat, Ice Spice & Bia
Meanwhile, elsewhere in her characteristic tirade, Azealia Banks threatened to rip Doja Cat’s top off and ridiculed Bia over her Cardi B diss. She also had words for the “Like That” hitmaker and Ice Spice, among others.
“Cardi you got to at least try because there’s no merit in reading everybody else’s s### off the page,” Banks said. “And lord knows I love me some Miss. Ice Spice, but a lot needed to be done after ‘Munch.’ All of the rest of the singles pale into comparison.”
The headline-generating Drake versus Kendrick Lamar battle continues to make news. After the two Hip-Hop superstars’ years-long feud came to a head in 2024, Hip-Hop fans closely followed the rivalry’s updates.
For instance, social media users recently noticed Drake removed a post about his diss track “The Heart Part 6” from his Instagram page. That move by the OVO Sound leader sparked questions.
Then Drake also took down his “Push Ups” and “Family Matters” Instagram posts. TheFor All the Dogs album creator has not publicly explained the deletions as of press time.
While Instagram no longer houses those diss records directed at Kendrick Lamar, OVO fans can still listen to “Push Ups” and “Family Matters” on DSPs.
Drizzy pulled the controversial “Taylor Made Freestyle” from Instagram in April following a legal threat from the Tupac Shakur estate. The song featured artificial intelligence-created Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg verses.
Previously, Drake seemingly expressed his desire to move on from his beef with Kendrick Lamar. In May, he wrote on his Instagram Story, “Good times. Summer vibes up next.”
The first musical offerings from Drake following the highly-publicized clash with Lamar polarized listeners. Sexyy Red tapped him for “U My Everything.” A track titled “Wah Gwan Delilah” featuring Drizzy also hit the internet.
Lil Durk revealed he checked himself into rehab to treat his addiction to Codeine and Xanax and now plans to build a treatment facility to help others in his hometown.
In a recent interview, the Grammy Award winner admitted he just returned from a rehab stint. Durk said he intends to “embrace” his time in the facility and be vocal about his journey to inspire others to seek help.
“It was tough at first, but it ain’t that tough ’cause I really knew what I wanted. I knew what was holding me back,” he said, before adding, “I wanted better. I want to be a better man, a better father, a better leader.”
The Chicago native realized he needed to get his life back on track before he could help anybody else. “It helped a lot,” Lil Durk said of his time in rehab. He also revealed he wrote music with greater clarity during his spell in treatment.
“My main goal is peace, being with the family and staying out of b#######,” he added. “I just see myself staying on the right track and trying to change a lot of lives.”
Lil Durk believes he can help tackle the stigma surrounding rebab with his facility. “If I do it, they gonna do it,” he said. “From here on, it’s all action.
Durk also opened up about his mission to curb violence in Chicago. “I’ve been talking to a lot of the bloggers,” he said, insisting they “narrate” the violence. “Everybody ain’t gonna change but we gonna save as many people as we could.”
In a recent interview, Lil Durk talks about his rehab journey, his desire to build a rehab facility, and his efforts to reduce the violence in Chicago. pic.twitter.com/82vJQqtKU4
Earlier this year, Lil Durk admitted that a past Percocet addiction led to him having a pacemaker fitted.
“I was takin’ so many pills, I was so high, I really abused it/Started sellin’ Percs, I turned around and started to use it,” he rapped on “Old Days.” “Had to get a pacemaker/My heart was skippin’ deuces.”
Meanwhile, Lil Durk confirmed his commitment to ending gun violence in his hometown during a recent appearance on the Big Facts Podcast.
“The number one priority for us in the streets and politician-wise, is to stop the violence and slow it down as much as possible. It starts with everybody just coming together,” Durk stated.
Drake is continuing his run of high-stakes sporting bets with two wagers on upcoming NBA and NHL playoffs games totaling a jaw-dropping $1 million.
The OVO honcho kept a relatively low profile following his epic battle with Kendrick Lamar, until earlier this week when he left fans baffled after joining fellow Toronto native Snowd4y on “Wah Gwan Delilah.”
However, he has been indulging in his love of sports. On Thursday (May 23), Drizzy popped out to support his hometown’s latest sports franchise for his first public appearance following the feud. He attended an event to celebrate the WNBA’s plan to expand the league with a new team in Toronto.

Now, the serial gambler is turning his attention to the NBA and NHL playoffs. On Wednesday (Jun 5) Drake took to Instagram to share his latest wagers. He placed two $500,000 bets on the Dallas Mavericks and the Edmonton Oilers to win game 4 of their respective playoff games on June 15.
If his teams win, Drake stands to more than double his stake. “Dallas cause I’m a Texan Oilers are self explanatory,” he wrote in the caption.
Drake is no stranger to gambling eye-watering sums on his favorite teams and athletes. Back in 2022, he reportedly bet over $1.25 million on Super Bowl LVI in a total of three different bets.
He won two of them and lost one after the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 and made more than a quarter of a million.
50 Cent was catching heat after taking a selfie with controversial Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert during his recent trip to Washington, D.C.
On Wednesday (June 5), the entertainment mogul met with several members of the United States government at Capitol Hill and The White House amid his ongoing and long-running battle with spirits company Beam Suntory.
However, one photo-op had fans branding 50 Cent a “sellout” after posing with scandal-ridden GOP representative Lauren Boebert. He took to Instagram to address the backlash while referencing Boebert’s infamous groping incident.
“Wait, wait, guys i took pictures with everyone and all you seem to care about is Lauren,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption. “What did she do in a dark theater that hasn’t been done, my God ! Hey I don’t have chlamydia by the way. LOL”
However, fans were quick to voice their disapproval in the comments section, with many claiming the backlash stems from the staunch Trump ally’s politics and not the 2023 theatre scandal.
“We don’t care what she does in dark theaters, what bothers us is what she does in Congress,” one person wrote.
“It’s not her giving a handy,” said another. “It’s her spreading antisemitism, anti LGBTQIA rhetoric, and so much more. She votes with those who want to get rid of contraception and abortions.”
The criticism arose after 50 Cent shared the photo while noting Lauren Boebert makes “the white house look good.”
One user branded the photo-op the “weirdest post of all time,” while others questioned if he lost his mind.
“But why would you even take a picture with this embarrassment to Congress?” read one complaint.
