Iggy Azalea had to make it clear she did not take a shot at R&B singer/songwriter SZA. Some social media users misinterpreted Azalea’s recent comments.
“Who’s Solana…? I don’t know that b####,” Azalea wrote on the X platform on Sunday (May 27). That tweet collected over 4,000 likes and over 800,000 views, as of press time.
Solána Rowe happens to be SZA’s birth name, so Iggy Azalea felt the need to explain her X post. Someone mentioned SZA in the replies to Azalea’s tweet. The New Classic album creator responded, “Girl, I’m talking about crypto.”
The Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal-founded Solana Labs launched the blockchain platform known as Solana in 2020 with the SOL cryptocurrency. Solana is viewed as an alternative to Ethereum.
After someone expressed finding the Solána (SZA)/Solana mixup funny, Iggy Azalea tweeted, “And I love SZA too! Not about to have Stan Twitter rope her into crypto s###, hahaha lmaooo.”
SZA released her sophomore album, SOS, in December 2022. The project spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. SOS also won Best Progressive R&B Album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
Erica Banks and Megan Thee Stallion have several things in common. Both Hip-Hop recording artists hail from the state of Texas and rose to prominence as part of Carl Crawford’s 1501 Certified Entertainment.
Those similarities between Erica Banks and Megan Thee Stallion led to fans comparing the two women. A new interview includes Banks leaning into the comparisons by throwing shade at Hot Girl Meg.
In January, Banks dropped her “I Think I Love Em” freestyle over Gucci Mane’s “I Think I Love Her” beat. Megan Thee Stallion also rapped over “I Think I Love Her” for a May 6th #MeganMonday freestyle.
Neighborhood Talk asked Erica Banks about a pinned comment on her Instagram page suggesting Megan Thee Stallion wants to go “freestyle for freestyle.” Banks answered by quoting a song by Meg’s rival, Nicki Minaj.
“Everybody can do a freestyle on whatever beat they choose,” Banks replied about Megan Thee Stallion. “But, it’s a big difference between me and you.”
The Kendrick Lamar versus Drake feud has diehard fans of both superstars ready to defend their favorite competitor at all costs. It seems T-Pain recently felt the wrath of Drake supporters for having fun with one of Lamar’s diss records.
Footage of T-Pain vibing to the Mustard-produced “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar spread across the internet. The Godfather of Auto-Tune showed off his dancing skills on stage in Las Vegas as the song played in the background.
Apparently, T-Pain’s live dance routine to the diss track did not sit right with some people. He took to the X social media platform to respond to the backlash over the clip.

“Welp! You heard it here first folks. Don’t drunk dance in a robe. Somehow it’s a political statement now.” T-Pain tweeted on Sunday (May 27).
He also wrote, “[Please] don’t let somebody else’s beef kill y’all’s fun. Let [people] dance PLEASE!! Mustard killed that f##### beat tho. It’d be pretty weird if you didn’t dance to it.”
In 2023, T-Pain spoke about Drake on an episode of hisNappy Boy Radio podcast. After admitting to making “simping” songs, Pain suggested the Canadian rapper is the new leader of the “simping” music movement.
Welp! You heard it here first folks. Don’t drunk dance in a robe. Somehow it’s a political statement now. 🤦🏿♂️ pls don’t let somebody else’s beef kill y’all’s fun. Let ppl dance PLEASE!! Mustard killed that f##### beat tho. It’d be pretty weird if you didn’t dance to it.
South London rapper K-Trap declared Soulja Boy banned from the U.K. after he questioned the street cred of its citizens.
During his recent spat with 21 Savage, Soulja Boy said he “cannot be scared,” of somebody from Britain. His comments left some Brits feeling slighted, including British Drill rapper K-Trap who called out Soulja Boy over his lack of “respect” for his home nation.
“We can’t let Soulja Boy come to the U.K.,” he said during a recent interview with influencer Billy the Goat. When asked if he was “banning” the rapper, K-Trap insisted he should be barred by everybody.
According to K-Trap, his U.S. peers stay exclusively in lavish hotels when they visit the U.K., protected by multiple security guards, never venturing into “the hood.”
“That was disrespectful,” K-Trap said, referring to Soulja Boy’s comments. “Any [American rappers] that’s come and locked in with real street n##### know it’s serious.”
Soulja Boy mocked British-born 21 Savage during their bank and forth earlier this month.
“You think I’ma let a p####-ass n#### from Britain talk to me crazy? You lame as f###, n####,” he said during an Instagram Live rant. “Take your p#### ass back to Britain, b####.”
21 Savage fired back with a tweet defending his British roots and right to rep ATL. “I been in Atlanta since 1st grade lost my virginity there got shot there in and out of juvenile there,” he wrote. “I went from the hospital in London straight to the projects yall think London is rodeo dr lol.”
21 Savage isn’t the only American rapper only too aware the U.K. has its fair share of street crime. Multiple rappers have been targeted by British crooks during their spells in London.
Julez Santana had an infamous run-in with London goons back in 2008 while Cam’ron was later forced to cancel a show, claiming 50 people came to the venue to rush him. Meanwhile, in recent times, Lil TJay was the target of a failed robbery during a mass brawl in 2021.
Cam’ron was slammed online after following his recent viral CNNinterview, but he’s continuing to see the funny side of the awkward interaction.
The rapper-turned-sports podcaster made headlines last week following his disastrous conversation with correspondent Abby Phillip. However, he wants to commemorate the interview by retiring his outfit to the “Hall of Fame.”
Cam took to Instagram to pay tribute to the black Diplomats t-shirt, bucket hat and sunglasses he wore during the infamous interview.
“You had a legendary week, man,” he said, speaking to the clothing. “I’m not leaving you guys; I’m just letting you know I’m proud of you. You going in the Hall of Fame. I’m proud, man. I gotta put y’all into the Hall of Fame.”
He continued, adding, “I can’t wear y’all again. Y’all had a Hall of Fame week. Look at the rays of light shining down on y’all.” Cam’ron also “retired” the can of the Pink Horse Power sex supplement he promoted in the CNN interview.
The Dipset member said he felt blindsided when Philip asked Cam about his reaction to the surveillance footage of Diddy assaulting Cassie Ventura and the subsequent apology.
He said Diddy behavior in the video was “egregious,” before distancing himself from the fallen mogul and turning on the antics. He took a swig of his supplement, telling Phillip, “I’m gonna’ go get some cheeks,” and questioned why he was there.
21 Savage fans were not ready for the surprise the rapper had in store for them, bringing out Drake as a surprise guest in his hometown.
On Monday evening (May 27) fans on the American Dream Tour lost their minds when 21 announced his Her Loss collaborator would be making a special appearance. The crowd roared as Drake came on stage with 21 Savage for an electrifying performance.

Meanwhile, 21 Savage caught some flack from Metro Boomin this past weekend, with the producer trolling him over his ties to Drake.
He was on Instagram Live when Metro hopped on for a chat. However, 21 quickly discovered that Metro dropped a few comments mocking him.
“Oh you was talkin s###?” 21 said after noticing Metro’s “OVO Savage” comment. “B#### get off my live. I ain’t even see all them other comments. I’m finna block that n####.”
After kicking him off the stream and joking about reporting him to Instagram, 21 Savage quoted Drake to troll the producer. “Metro shut your hoe ass up and make some drums n####,” he added.
21 Savage had vowed to stay out of the feud between the OVO honcho and the We Don’t Trust You co-creator because of his close relationship with both artists. He refused to get involved after K. Dot’s Metro Boomin assisted Drake diss “Like That,” kicked off the epic Hip-Hop beef.
“Metro my brother and Drake my brother,” 21 Savage said on Instagram Live earlier this month. “Them n##### going to figure that s### out eventually.”
Drake recently trolled the producer by rapping over the “BBL Drizzy” beat Metro created to mock him.
Kehlani is speaking out about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine following the tragic loss of life in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
The “After Hours” hitmaker branded her peers “disgusting” for remaining silent in the wake of the recent Israeli airstrikes that killed at least 45 Palestinians in a camp for displaced people.
On Monday (May 26), Kehlani took to Instagram with several posts condemning fellow artists. The singer revealed they needed help and support from her friend and therapist after the October 7 attack, and now the “rage” has returned.
Kehlani called out “people who have already beat the f###### game,” insisting they’ve lost any remaining “ounce of f###### respect.”
“It’s f### Israel and it’s f### Zionism and it’s also f### a lot of y’all too,” Kehlani said. “This is going to be in history books. This is going to be something that is referenced for the rest of f###### forever.”
In their caption, Kehlani said they “tried to drop some music & get my mind back right.” However, they added, “the rage is just EXTREMELY prevalent.”
They continued, “It should be f###### a lot of yall up but apparently it’s not???? what’s good yall??? we don’t sell out shows without A CROWD FULL OF PEOPLE. the songs don’t chart without PEOPLE. the trends don’t trend without PEOPLE. you don’t draw a line at beheaded babies or people burnt alive after 7 months the of plenty of other atrocities ?”
Kehlani concluded by urging people to “BE A F##### HUMAN BEING.”
Beyoncé was a shy girl who was bullied as a child, but she eventually found the courage to stand up to bullies to defend a friend, her mother recalled.
Tina Knowles revealed her famous daughter wasn’t always the confident, self-assured artist fans know and love. During a recent interview, the 70-year-old businesswoman shared her pride at Beyoncé coming to the aid of a friend and fighting back against the bullies.
Vogue asked Knowles about her favorite memories of her daughters’ childhoods as a mother to Beyoncé and younger daughter, Solange.
“She was very shy, and she got bullied a bit,” she said of Beyoncé. “But the day that she stood up for someone—she didn’t stand up for herself she stood up for them. I’m getting emotional talking about it. I was just, I couldn’t have been more proud of her.”
She also recalled Solange becoming an advocate for change from a very early age.
“Solange was her signing a petition in school,” Tina continued. “She was only in, like, fifth grade and she was up getting petitions signed. So she’s always been an activist.”
Tina Knowles also shared a precious memory of Kelly Rowland, who lived with the Knowles in her youth and is considered a daughter to the family.
“Kelly was always this kid that just tried to protect everybody,” Knowles added. “I have a memory of her with her best friend Barbara and her being a mediator and just being this little peacemaker.”
Knowles gave her “three girls” their flowers in her Instagram caption, praising them for being special. She also urged “Never compare the negatives, always praise the positive differences.”
Concerned Lil Wayne fans have started comparing the New Orleans native’s appearance to his Atlanta rap counterpart Future following a recent photo-op with well-known sports broadcaster Skip Bayless.
The entire discourse started after Bayless shared a photo of himself and Lil Wayne on Twitter (X) in order to tease some sort of content he and Weezy recorded.
“Wayne and I this afternoon at his house,” Bayless wrote in part before adding, “Great 3-hour convo about Luka, Ant Man, Caitlin, Wayne’s short-lived baseball career, a commercial he made with LeBron … and aliens. #Blessed.”
Wayne and I this afternoon at his house. Great 3-hour convo about Luka, Ant Man, Caitlin, Wayne’s short-lived baseball career, a commercial he made with LeBron … and aliens. #Blessedpic.twitter.com/Mndg9YeL7W
With the snapshot garnering well over four million views on the platform, it didn’t take long before Lil Wayne’s fans caught wind of the photo and began reacting. Along with remarks about Wayne’s appearance, a discussion comparing Weezy and Future developed after a user made a point about their age.
“Wayne & Future being the same age kinda shows you who the real drug addict is,” user @ZBankEnt wrote.
From there, the levees were broken, and the Future and Lil Wayne comparisons flooded the timeline as users quoted the remark with retorts of their own such as, “Future admitted that he wasn’t doing all the drugs he rapped about so there’s that” and “Wayne needs some help man.”
In another tweet in the thread a user joked “That black definitely cracked,” while another user added, “Codeine is a hell of a drug.”
Or how unspoken illness can effect people and you shouldn’t speak so harshly on people without knowing everything. https://t.co/rODdp7ge3H

What do you think? Does Lil Wayne really look that bad? Or does Future just look that much better than him? To be fair, Wayne is technically 41 while Future is 40.
Killer Mike honored the Dungeon Family, late producer Rico Wade and his fellow Atlanta rap peers André 3000 and Big Boi in one fell swoop with his recent Instagram post.
On Monday (May 26), Killer Mike shared a series of photos with his nearly two million Instagram followers, capturing his reunion with André 3000 and Big Boi amid Memorial holiday weekend. In the caption of the post, Killer Mike included a tribute to Wade, the founding member of the Dungeon Family and one-third of organized who passed away on April 13.
“See They Tried to Tell Ya’ll, Um Him!!!!” Killer Mike wrote in part. “Real Rap No cap that is why we laffed cuz I was saying that. Dungeon Family 4eva! #RipRicoWade Fearless Leader and Visionary.”
Killer Mike utilized the post as a means to reflect on his relationship with his Outkast collaborators and their shared backgrounds with the Dungeon Family.
“Happy Birthday 3stacks @andre3000,” he added. “Thank you and @bigboi for giving me the opportunity to change my life! #MICHAEL.”
In the comment section of the post, several rappers showed love including Atlanta artist Ralo, who called Three Stacks the GOAT, and Big Sean who wrote, “Need the Dungeon Family 4eva album really.”
AllHipHop confirmed the tragic news of Wade’s passing with his representative last month. He was just 52 years old. In a heartfelt post he shared on Instagram, Killer Mike expressed his grief which nearly left him speechless.
“I don’t have the words to express my deep and profound sense of loss,” he wrote. “I am Praying for your wife and Children. I am praying for the Wade family. I am praying for us all. I deeply appreciate your acceptance into The Dungeon Family, mentorship, Friendship and Brotherhood. Idk where I would be without ya’ll. This is a part of the journey. You told me ‘It ain’t been hard throughout the journey, it’s been a Journey.’ The journey ain’t gonna be the Same Journey without U. Like U say tho Umma ‘Stay Down on it’….we all are.”
James is most recognized from his standout role on SHOWTIME’s The Chi, which returned for its sixth season on May 10, and he might be on a few R&B playlists. Either way, Luke James’ talents speak volumes — not only about his passion but also the dedication to his craft.
The New Orleans native is currently celebrating his newest role, THEM: THE SCARE, on Amazon Music. The new series arrive on the heels of their first installment, subtitled Covenant, which took place circa 1952.
AllHipHop had the pleasure of chatting on the red carpet with Luke James, who was all smiles. James recently became a father to nine-month-old Wolfe and couldn’t wait to get back home.
AllHipHop: What’s the best part about fatherhood?
Luke James: Being present. I really feel present right now and in time, and really understanding what time really means. The value.
AllHipHop:How old is Wolfe?
Luke James: Nine months.
AllHipHop:They grow so fast.
Luke James: So fast, oh my gosh. That’s why I’m trying to hurry and get to the crib. You know? It’s a new day.
AllHipHop:Does he know that daddy is a star?
Luke James: I don’t know. But he looks at me like one, so that means everything.
AllHipHop:Can you give us an exclusive sneak peek on the new season of The Chi?
Luke James: Whoa, exclusive? Things are gonna really get shaky with Victor trying to play two worlds. Playing two worlds, it’s going to get really shaky.
AllHipHop:Who would be in your R&B Mount Rushmore?
Luke James: What time period? Marvin Gaye…
AllHipHop:Today.
Luke James: Mount Rushmore: Joe, Babyface, Boys II Men. Oh wow, it’s a lot of them. Tank.
AllHipHop:You gotta do the R&B Money podcast!
Luke James: Yeah I want to. But Tank is someone I grew up listening to, became my brother and is still here. You gotta look, and is still relevant like hell. It’s hard to do that as a Black artist, we age out. He’s forever. That’s Mount Rushmore.
Snoop Dogg believes Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s epic rap beef elevated Hip-Hop lyricism and ushered in a revival of real lyricism, paving the way for the demise of mumble rap.
The West Coast legend refused to be drawn into the specifics of the battle but gave both rappers their flowers. He weighed in on the feud during an interview with Entertainment Tonight published Monday (May 27).
“Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing because the writing has been upped since the confrontation,” he said.
Furthermore, Snoop Dogg claimed Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef permanently altered the Hip-Hop landscape.
“As far as what they did for the industry and the rap game, they made you rap again. You can’t mumble your way and gimmick your way to a song no more, buddy. So thank y’all,” he added.
Nonetheless, Snoop Dogg declined to pick a side, remaining neutral. “Those are my nephews,” he explained. “I’m not in the middle of it. I support both of them and that’s personal business, not my business.”
Despite his desire to remain neutral, the Death Row Records boss found himself embroiled in the beef. Drake recreated Snoop Dogg and Tupac’s voices on his Kendrick Lamar diss “Taylor Made Freestyle” using A.I.
“They did what? When? How? Are you sure?” Snoop sarcastically asked his Instagram followers after the song dropped. “Y’all have a good night.”
The nearly-mythical Wu-Tang Clan album, Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, is essentially folklore at this point.
The sole copy of the project has been passed around like a hot potato since falling into the hands of incarcerated “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli several years ago. But now, according to The Guardian, those willing to shell out the money to fly to Tasmania (yes, in Australia) can hear the album for the first time.
The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart has apparently acquired the album on loan from digital art collective Pleasr for its upcoming exhibition “Namedropping,” which will “explore status, celebrity and notoriety.” Its appearance at MONA will be the first time that the album has been loaned to a museum since the original sale.
MONA will hold free, ticketed listening sessions from June 15-24, where members of the public can hear a “curated” 30-minute mix of the album, played from a personalized Wu-Tang PlayStation 1 inside MONA’s recording studio, Frying Pan.
“Every once in a while, an object on this planet possesses mystical properties that transcend its material circumstances,” Jarrod Rawlins, MONA’s director of curatorial affairs, said. “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin is more than just an album, so when I was thinking about status, and what a transcendent namedrop could be, I knew I had to get it into this exhibition.”
Pleasr said it was “honored” to partner with MONA to support RZA’s vision for the album. It said in a statement, “Ten years ago, the Wu-Tang Clan had a bold vision to make a single copy album as a work of fine art. To ‘put it in an art gallery … make music become a living piece like a Mona Lisa or a sceptre from Egypt. With this single work of art, the Wu-Tang Clan’s intention was to redefine the meaning of music ownership and value in a world of digital streaming and commodification of music.”
Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, widely considered one of the most valuable albums ever made, was recorded in secret between 2006 and 2013 and lives in a decorative silver box. It reportedly features contributions from all surviving members of Wu-Tang Clan—and curiously, two appearances from Cher.
The album’s creation was an attempt at illustrating the impact of streaming and piracy on the value of music. Wu-Tang producers Cilvaringz and RZA once described it as “a 400-year-old Renaissance-style approach to music” and said they hoped by “offering it as a commissioned commodity” it would “inspire and intensify urgent debates about the future of music.”
The saga of Wu-Tang Clan’s Once Upon a Time in Shaolin is comprised of many different chapters.
A single two-CD copy was pressed in 2014 and stored in a secured vault at the Royal Mansour Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco, then auctioned through Paddle8 auction house the following. year. A legal agreement with the purchaser stipulated that the album couldn’t be commercially exploited for 88 years (2103), although it can be played at listening parties.
Shkreli was the winning bidder at $2 million to many people’s chagrin. RZA explained the sale was complete before Shkreli’s controversial price hike of the anti-infective agent Daraprim. After learning Shkreli was behind the purchase, RZA said Cilvaringz and the Wu-Tang Clan donated a “significant portion” of the proceeds to charity, including the Children’s Literacy Society, the Hip-Hop Chess Federation and TTAC, an institution focused on showcasing alternative cures for cancer.
In January 2016, Shkreli promised he’d release the album for free if Donald Trump won the 2016 U.S. presidential election—which he did. After Trump was elected, Shkreli streamed excerpts of the album online. Shkreli then attempted to sell Once Upon a Time in Shaolin on eBay in September 2017, with the winning bid passing $1 million. But Shkreli was incarcerated on unrelated fraud counts before the sale could be finalized. RZA attempted to buy the album back, but he was contractually unable to at the time.
“I’ve actually tried to get it back but the paperwork and the contract stops me from getting it back,” he explained to Rolling Stone. “When [Shkreli] put it on eBay, the first thing I did was call my lawyer, and I was like, ‘Yo, let’s go.’ And they said, ‘All right, check with your contract.’ And it’s no, you can’t do it. Ain’t that a b####?”
Following Shkreli’s securities fraud conviction, a federal court seized Once Upon a Time in Shaolin along with his other assets. In July 2021, the U.S. Department of Justice sold it to non-fungible token collectors PleasrDAO for $4 million to cover his debts.
Mike Tyson is reportedly recovering after requiring emergency medical attention during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
The boxing legend, set to return to the ring to take on social media star Jake Paul in July, was aboard a flight on Monday (May 26), when he suddenly became unwell about 30 minutes before the plane was scheduled to land.
Mike Tyson reportedly became “nauseous and dizzy” after suffering from an existing health issue. According to eyewitnesses, flight staff enquired if there was a doctor on board.
Paramedics came to his aid once the flight landed in L.A., and the 57-year-old received treatment while still onboard. The plane had been delayed by two hours in Miami because of the heat.
Nonetheless, Tyson’s team says the boxer is doing well and is grateful to the paramedics who treated him.
“Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,” his representatives told The New York Post. “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
Mike Tyson is just weeks away from his Jake Paul fight on July 20, and the younger fighter doesn’t intend to pull any punches.
In a recent TMZ interview, Paul acknowledged that Tyson is capable of knocking him out “in an embarrassing fashion.”
Nonetheless, Paul believes he can “channel” Tyson and get a victory. “So, I have to reciprocate that same energy. But Mike Tyson is a killer. He’s ruthless. He’s the most vicious champion ever. So, I have to channel that Mike Tyson energy to finish him. And the legend must fall.”
Jelly Roll unveiled an unusual personal quirk while discussing his victory at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where he won Music Event of the Year for “Save Me,” a duet with Lainey Wilson.
The Hip-Hop artist revealed on the Audacy podcast that he only wears new socks, a practice he attributes to fear of developing “stinky feet.”
“Can I tell you a frivolous habit I have?” Jelly Roll said coyly during his podcast appearance. “Don’t judge me for this, y’all. I promise I grew up very humble, but I only wear socks once.”
Despite his typically modest demeanor, this 39-year-old confessed to indulging in his most indulgent habit. “I buy socks in bulk … It’s the most frivolous thing I’ve done with my success,” he said.
The quirky revelation came shortly after Jelly Roll celebrated a significant career milestone with his ACM award win.
Even in the glow of such triumph, the singer emphasized the little extravagances his success afforded him.
He explained more about the rationale behind this seemingly excessive habit: “I’m sorry, I hope I didn’t let nobody down with that, but when you’re fat, you can’t have stinky feet too, so you gotta have fresh socks!”
Navigating your path through obscurity without a survival guide is not a task for the timid. It requires innate bravery and steadfastness to challenge the norms and go against conventional beliefs, a trait found in true visionaries.
Bringing your inherent talents into the spotlight is a profoundly spiritual and fulfilling journey in life. A dream can propel an individual across the globe or, at times, lead them to their final resting place.

50 Cent claims he always knew the truth following a recent rumor about Diddy hooking up with a male producer.
Social media star Josh Ostrovsky, aka The Fat Jewish, claimed Diddy threatened him after catching the fallen mogul “spooning” with another man at a swanky party.
During a recent episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. Ostrovsky recalled a story he first told in 2015. He said he was at a “Black excellence” event at Diddy’s Star Island mansion when he happened upon Diddy being intimate with another man.
“I walked in a room I shouldn’t have walked into, and I saw him hooking up with a dude,” he explained. Basically, like, full spooning situation.”
Ostrovsky identified the man as producer Felix da Housecat. He claims Diddy spotted him and asked why he looked scared. “Everyone in the room stopped,” he said. “I was like, ‘Is this the bathroom?”
According to Ostrovsky, he was told, “This is a room where male celebrities hook up.”
On Monday morning (May 26), 50 Cent shared a clip from the podcast on Instagram.
“Don’t feel bad I told them something wasn’t right,” he captioned his post. “They just couldn’t see it till now. The Diddler in full Effect.”
Meanwhile, Ostrovsky claims Diddy’s team asked him to say he was joking about the alleged Felix da Housecat encounter after he told the story on a podcast.
Ostrovsky then repeated the story on Hot97 but it never aired. He claims the host was scared, telling him “I’m not going to run this interview because Diddy’s insane. He blew up Kid Cudi’s car.”
Diddy has been dropped by another company after a major eyewear retailer ditched his Sean John frames amid his ongoing legal woes.
America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses are severing ties with the disgraced Bad Boy Records boss, per TMZ. A new report from the outlet reveals stores were instructed to remove Diddy’s merch from the shelves last Tuesday (May 21).
Diddy’s Sean John frames are also absent from the website. The company reportedly axed the frames from their online platform last month.
While the eyewear brand did not specify why they pulled the frames, the directions to staff came just two days after Diddy apologized for the brutal assault on his former girlfriend captured on surveillance video.
It’s not just Diddy’s Sean John company that’s taking a hit. Last week, Peloton revealed it stopped using his music. The exercise company made the move following “concerns” from patrons. The company informed customers they “paused the use of” Diddy’s music and removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series.
Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that the Feds are deploying an unconventional strategy in their ongoing investigation. Sources speculate that the Feds might be attempting to drain his considerable finances. Diddy is reportedly nearly at billionaire status, although the latest moves from brands severing ties will be hurting his pockets.
Earlier this month, two more women came from accusing Diddy of sexual assault.
21 Savage kicked Metro Boomin off his Instagram Live session over the weekend after the producer trolled him over his relationship with Drake.
On Sunday evening (May 26) 21 Savage was vibing on IG Live, listening to music when Metro Boomin joined him for a chat. Unfortunately, Metro was having audio issues, and so couldn’t be heard.
However, 21 Savage soon noticed that Metro had trolled him in the chat and turfed him off the stream.
“Oh you was talkin s###?” 21 said after noticing Metro’s “OVO Savage” comment. “B#### get off my live. I ain’t even see all them other comments. I’m finna block that n####.”
If blocking him wasn’t enough, 21 Savage then apparently reported Metro Boomin to Instagram.
“He’s bullying me,” he said while seemingly completing an Instagram form. “Submit report.”
21 Savage then took a leaf out of Drake’s book, borrowing his infamous line, adding, “Metro shut your hoe ass up and make some drums n####.”
— All Things Battles 🖊🔥 (@AllThingsBatRap) May 27, 2024
Despite the trolling, 21 Savage insisted he would remain neutral during Metro’s recent beef with Drake.
“Don’t keep coming on to my muthafuckin Live talking about no muthafuckin beef,” Savage said during an IG Live earlier this month. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Them n##### going to figure that s### out eventually.”
Makeout Shinobi is an Independent R&B/Soul artist who’s really starting to catch momentum with his single “Conversations.” The single has officially broken into the iTunes Top 40 R&B US Charts. This achievement is particularly interesting as the chart is predominantly occupied by major artists with substantial backing from major labels. Makeout Shinobi, New York based artist, stands out as an independent artist who’s sticking it to the majors by competing with them without that same big label push.
“Conversations” is a whole vibe. Makeout’s voice is truly unique and you can feel that he believes every word he sings. The single has a unique music video that has true cinematic pull. We highly recommend diving into Makeout’s full allure, but at the very minimum, give his viral single “Conversations” a listen and check out the official music video on YouTube.
