Cheating CEO Resigns After Viral Coldplay Video Scandal

Andy Byron stepped down as CEO of Astronomer after a viral video showed him in an intimate moment with the company’s chief people officer during a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts.

The clip, captured by a concertgoer and later broadcast on massive venue screens, showed Byron and Kristen Cabot with their arms around each other.

The moment quickly turned awkward when Cabot covered her face and Byron dropped to the floor as the crowd reacted. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, narrating the scene live, quipped, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

The video, posted by TikTok user Grace Springer under the handle @instaagrace, exploded online, racking up over 100 million views and turning a night of live music into a corporate PR nightmare.

Astronomer, a New York-based tech firm specializing in DataOps, confirmed Byron’s departure in a statement.

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.”

The company added, “Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not.”

Co-founder Pete DeJoy will step in as interim CEO while the company begins its search for a permanent replacement.

The incident took place during Coldplay’s concert in Massachusetts and was filmed by venue staff, who projected the footage onto large screens for the audience.

The moment, meant to spotlight concertgoers, instead exposed a private interaction that quickly went viral.

Lizzo Explains How She Rapped With No Filter On Latest Mixtape

Lizzo cut loose on her third mixtape, My Face Hurts From Smiling, by ditching pop polish and refusing to revise her lyrics, thereby pushing her Hip-Hop persona to the forefront.

In a Billboard interview, Lizzo explained she normally reshapes her lyrics when crafting pop tracks, but this project was a different story.

“That’s how I start with everything, it’s like a freestyle and it’s typically kind of rappity, and then I add melody, and then I go in and adjust the lyrics and then be like, can you say this in pop music?” she said.

For My Face Hurts From Smiling, which dropped last month, she made a conscious decision to let her lyrics lead without a filter.

“I think that was the biggest thing, like with this project, I’m like, the first thing that comes out my mouth Imma say it. I’m not gonna edit myself,” she added.

The mixtape, which highlights Lizzo’s rap roots more directly than her previous LPs, also features a guest appearance from SZA on the song “IRL.”

The duo’s connection goes deeper than the music.

“There’s a lot of like genuine support and she’s one of the only people I can text at three in the morning when I’m crashing out,” said Lizzo. “I really appreciate her ’cause she understands, and I think it’s really hard for you to have someone in your life who’s known you for a long time and also understands the world you’re in.”

The project comes on the heels of Lizzo wrapping her fifth studio album Love in Real Life, which she confirmed she finished earlier this year.

Although she has already released the singles “Love in Real Life” and “Still Bad,” there’s no confirmed release date for the whole album.

The mixtape My Face Hurts From Smiling was released in April.

EXCLUSIVE: Sean Kingston’s Mom To Be Kicked Out Of U.S., Begs Judge For Light Prison Sentence

Janice Turner pleaded with a federal judge for mercy as she awaits sentencing in a wire fraud conviction that could send her to prison for decades.

The 62-year-old mother of Sean Kingston asked the court for compassion in a formal motion filed ahead of her sentencing on August 28.

Convicted in March 2025, Turner was found guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud. She now faces up to 20 years on each count.

Prosecutors claim she helped orchestrate an elaborate ruse using forged financial transactions and her son’s celebrity status to illegally acquire over $1 million worth of high-end merchandise, including luxury vehicles, electronics, and jewelry.

Turner is asking for no more than 30 months behind bars, citing her poor health, limited criminal background, and lack of personal profit from the fraud scheme.

Her attorneys argued that the long-term penalty she faces is excessive given the circumstances.

“A sentence of thirty (30) months or less will serve the purposes of sentencing by satisfying the need for deterrence,” the filing states, noting Turner did not benefit financially.

During the trial, the judge labeled Turner the “fixer” and “nerve center” of the operation, which involved convincing retailers to release goods without payment.

Sean Kingston did not testify in his own defense. Turner, however, admitted to making fake wire transfers.

Though both were found guilty, Turner’s consequences stretch beyond prison.

After her prison sentence, Turner is set to be deported to Jamaica, losing her U.S. residency and creating what her defense team describes as “permanent separation from her family.”

Given those stakes, Turner is requesting to be placed in a federal facility as close to Miami as possible to allow for family visits. The nearest women’s prison is located in Tallahassee, nearly 500 miles away.

Letters submitted on her behalf portray her as a kind and service-driven woman who has helped others through her community work. The defense has leaned heavily into her age and declining health, hoping it will influence the court’s final decision.

Turner will learn her fate when she returns to court on July 23, 2025.

Fat Joe Calls French Montana “Delusional” Over Hit Song Drama

Fat Joe called out French Montana during a recent episode of the “Joe & Jada” podcast, clowning him for overstating his role in their Grammy-nominated hit “All The Way Up.”

The Bronx rapper took a playful yet pointed jab at his longtime collaborator, saying French has been talking like he carried the track solo.

“You know your man French Montana, that n#### delusional man,” Joe said with a laugh. “We did ‘All The Way Up’ with French Montana. That boy, he be talking about it’s that golden voice… He just take too much credit for it. There’s a lot of n##### signed to delusional records. I’m being honest with you.”

The track, which also features Remy Ma, became a major success in 2016, earning Grammy nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. But behind the accolades, the song has been the center of a messy credit tug-of-war.

Joe’s remarks come amid ongoing legal tensions. Miami rapper Fly Havana has accused both Joe and French Montana of excluding him from the song’s creation credits and profits.

The active lawsuit claims Havana co-wrote the track but was never properly acknowledged or paid. While the legal battle continues, Joe has consistently recognized French’s contribution but maintains that the credit should be shared equally.

He’s made it clear that French’s narrative doesn’t match the reality of how the song came together.

Meanwhile, Joe and Jadakiss have been making waves with their “Joe & Jada” podcast.

Their recent interview with Clipse — the duo of Pusha T and Malice — went viral after they previewed a track from the group’s upcoming album Let God Sort Em Out.

In a clip shared online, Joe and Jada react to “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar, with the caption, “@jadakiss face says it all @clipse and @kendricklamar went CRAZY on this.”

Nicki Minaj Gets Congressional Support After Alleged Threat From TDE Affiliate

Nicki Minaj called out alleged threats and RICO-level corruption in Hip-Hop and got a swift response from Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who pledged to involve law enforcement and ensure her safety.

The rapper took to social media on Friday (July 18) after a livestream comment from Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate DJ MackWop. Minaj interpreted the remark as a threat and demanded federal scrutiny into what she described as “shady business” in the music industry.

Luna, a staunch conservative and vocal Trump supporter, didn’t hesitate. She responded directly to Minaj on X (Twitter_, writing, “Please text my cell, I will forward this to law enforcement immediately. Threats of violence and assassination should be taken very seriously. Hope you’re ok, we’ll talk soon @nickiminaj.”

The two spoke privately, and Luna later confirmed their conversation publicly, saying she would do everything in her power to protect Minaj. She also addressed the broader allegations of criminal activity in the rap world.

“We take threats of violence and assassination very seriously,” Luna added. “RICO is also illegal. I am deeply concerned that there has been unchecked corruption within certain aspects of the rap industry. Artists should be respected and not afraid of managers, labels, etc.”

Minaj replied with gratitude, tweeting, “Thank you for your time & attention to these matters as it relates to these thugs.”

Social media reaction was divided. Some users applauded Minaj for speaking up and involving authorities, while others compared her to Azealia Banks, suggesting she was spiraling into conspiratorial internet drama.

Nicki Minaj Announces She’s Snitching Over Livestream Remarks

The controversy stems from a livestream where DJ MackWop made a vague comment that Nicki Minaj perceived as threatening.

She didn’t hold back, connecting the moment to a larger pattern of intimidation and misconduct in the industry — and calling for a federal investigation amid her rants about JAY-Z and Roc Nation.

“It’s SNITCHING TIME,” she wrote after calling on authorities to act.

Jonathan Majors Teases Pregnancy Rumors With Meagan Good During Live Workout

Jonathan Majors tossed fuel on the baby rumor fire when he casually addressed speculation about Meagan Good being pregnant during the couple’s Instagram Live workout session earlier this week.

The actor set tongues wagging, responding to a user in the live chat questioning Good’s appearance.

“Who knows if she’s pregnant?” he said. “I can’t call it.”

The cryptic remark came as the two promoted their new wellness brand while dressed in matching fitness gear. Good’s toned appearance didn’t offer any obvious clues, but her surprised expression after Major’s comment had viewers reading between the lines.

The couple didn’t confirm or deny anything, but the timing of the comment—paired with a red carpet interview from the same day—only added to the buzz.

Speaking to ABC 3340 News, Good said, “We’re working on that right now,” when talking about having a family.

She added she feels “completely at home and completely peaceful” in their relationship and emphasized their bond by saying, “We’ve already been through the worst, so there’s nothing we can’t handle.”

Good also praised Majors’ parenting skills, saying, “I think he’s a phenomenal father,” which many took as another hint that the couple is preparing to expand their family.

The speculation isn’t new. Earlier this year, both Majors and Good dropped subtle clues about wanting children. Majors referred to married life as “leveling up,” while Good offered vague responses when asked directly about having a child.

As of Friday (July 19), there’s still no official word from the couple on whether a baby is on the way.

Jonathan Majors & Meagan Good Tie The Knot

Majors and Good tied the knot in March 2025 in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home. The only attendees were their mothers—Majors’ mom, a pastor, officiated the wedding, while Good’s mother served as the witness.

They announced their engagement in November 2024 at the EBONY Power 100 Gala, where Good debuted her ring.

The relationship began in May 2023, going public during a turbulent time for Majors, who was facing legal issues at the time. Good stood by him throughout his trial, and the two reportedly moved in together before marrying.

This marks Majors’ first marriage and Good’s second. She was previously married to DeVon Franklin until their divorce in 2022.

Donald Trump Hits “Wall Street Journal” With $10 Billion Defamation Lawsuit Over Epstein Letter Claim

Donald Trump launched a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal and its parent companies in Miami federal court, accusing the publication of falsely linking him to a risqué birthday letter allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein.

The complaint, filed Tuesday (July 18), names The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones, News Corp, owner Rupert Murdoch and two of the paper’s reporters, claiming they published a “false, defamatory, unsubstantiated, and disparaging” story that Trump says never should have seen the light of day.

At the center of the suit is a 2003 letter WSJ reported was written by Trump to Epstein for his 50th birthday.

The article claimed the note was part of a leather-bound album curated by Ghislaine Maxwell, which allegedly included a nude sketch and suggestive remarks.

Trump flat-out denied ever writing such a letter, calling it “FAKE.”

He also took a direct shot at Murdoch, saying he looked forward to seeing him on the witness stand.

“We have just filed a POWERHOUSE Lawsuit,” Trump declared, before pivoting into a broader attack on the media. “This lawsuit is filed not only on behalf of your favorite President, ME, but also in order to continue standing up for ALL Americans who will no longer tolerate the abusive wrongdoings of the Fake News Media.”

The lawsuit accuses the Journal of “clear journalistic failures” and claims the story caused Trump significant financial and reputational damage.

Meanwhile, Trump is also calling for the release of sealed grand jury records tied to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

Donald Trump’s War On The Media

This legal battle is the latest in a string of controversial lawsuits Trump has filed against major media outlets. He previously sued CBS News and ABC News, including a $20 billion claim against CBS over an edited 60 Minutes interview. He’s also reached settlements with Paramount and Disney, each reportedly paying him $16 million.

Critics argue Trump’s legal blitz is part of a broader campaign to intimidate the press. Advocacy groups warn that his tactics, combined with media companies’ willingness to settle, could chill reporting and erode First Amendment protections.

Trump has also targeted outlets like PBS and NPR, taking steps to cut federal funding, over coverage that didn’t align with his narrative. He continues to label journalists who challenge him as “enemies of the people” and threatens lawsuits or regulatory action in response to stories he dislikes.

Tyler, The Creator Announces New Album At Live Show—Out in Just Days

Tyler, The Creator stunned the crowd at his Brooklyn concert Friday night (July 18) by revealing his ninth studio album, Don’t Tap the Glass, will arrive Monday (July 21) through Columbia Records—less than a year after his last release.

The announcement came via signage at the show and a swift update to his Golf Wang website, which now features fresh merchandise tied to the new project, including vinyl, tees and hats.

Don’t Tap the Glass follows 2024’s Chromakopia, marking the first time in Tyler’s career that he has released albums in back-to-back years.

Known for switching up his sound and aesthetic with each era, Tyler has hinted this record will introduce a new character and sonic direction.

In the weeks leading up to the reveal, Tyler teased fans with cryptic visuals and subtle clues online and during live shows. The clues had many speculating that something was brewing, but few expected an album announcement to land mid-tour.

Rumors about guest features have been swirling, especially after recent onstage appearances with Kendrick Lamar and Doechii. Pusha T also added fuel to the fire with a social media post reacting to Tyler’s teaser, though no official tracklist or lineup has been confirmed.

The surprise drop strategy has sparked a wave of reactions online. One user wrote, “CHROMAKOPIA dropped less than 9 months ago. Tyler, The Creator kept tradition dropping every other year from 2009-2021, each album having their own respective rollout. Now for the first time ever in his career he’s surprise dropping an album, on BACK TO BACK years… We won man.” Another added, “Tyler dropping two album in two years was never on my list.”

Tyler is currently finishing the North American leg of his Chromakopia world tour, with international dates in Australia and Asia set to follow.

Robbie Pardlo Dead At 46: City High Singer Remembered For Early 2000s R&B Hits

Robbie Pardlo, the voice behind City High’s chart-topping anthem “What Would You Do?” died Tuesday (July 17) at age 46 in Willingboro, New Jersey, surrounded by loved ones.

The cause of death has not been officially disclosed. While some reports have pointed to heart failure, his family has not confirmed any details.

Pardlo rose to fame in the early 2000s as one-third of City High alongside Claudette Ortiz and Ryan Toby.

Their debut single “What Would You Do?” became a cultural staple, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group in 2002.

Their follow-up hit “Caramel” also cracked the Top 20 and featured a remix with rapper Eve.

After the group disbanded, Pardlo continued working in music. He performed with the group First Take and collaborated with artists like Whitney Houston and Lil Kim.

A representative for the singer confirmed his passing to TMZ, adding that the family is planning memorial services and public tributes, with details to be announced soon.

Pardlo is survived by his wife, Anika, their two children, Lyric and Chord-Andrew, his mother, Marion and his brother, Gregory Pardlo—a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet.

Known for his love of storytelling through music, Pardlo helped shape a moment in early 2000s R&B and Hip-Hop that still resonates. City High’s music tackled real-life issues with honesty and emotion, and their lone album remains a time capsule of that era.

As of now, Ortiz, Toby and Wyclef Jean—who signed the group to his Booga Basement label—have not made public statements.

City High’s only album, released in May 2001, was praised for its raw lyrics and genre-blending sound. “What Would You Do?” originally appeared on the 1999 film “Life” soundtrack before becoming a breakout hit.

Memorial details are expected to be shared by the family in the coming days.

AllhipHop extends condolences to Pardlo’s family and loved ones.

Claressa Shields Calls Out Laila Ali With $15 Million Offer

Claressa Shields just threw down a massive challenge to Laila Ali with a $15 million offer to settle their long-standing rivalry in the ring.

Shields, the undefeated three-division world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, announced in a video that the money is ready and she’s waiting on Ali to accept.

“We got the $15 million!” Shields announced. “Let’s make a fight between me and you. The best versus the best. The GWOAT versus Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Laila Ali. Let’s make it happen.”

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

The move comes after Ali recently addressed rumors about a potential comeback, saying during an interview with Fight Hub TV, “Where’d that rumor come from? The rumor I heard was that I said, ‘Unless somebody had $15 or $20 million, don’t even call me about this.’ That’s all I heard! Unless somebody calls ME and says they have it, we’re not even going to have this conversation. I’m not trying to come back and fight, but if somebody were to offer that kind of money I’d actually have to think about it.”

Ali, 47, retired from boxing with an unblemished 24-0 record and has long maintained she wouldn’t return unless the payday was massive. Shields, 30, has spent years calling herself the GWOAT—Greatest Woman of All Time—and has often taken aim at Ali’s legacy.

Claressa Sheilds Reacts To Laila Ali Addressing Age Difference

Their back-and-forth has simmered for years, but Shields’ latest move may be the closest the sport has come to seeing the two icons face off. She even reposted a clip of Ali discussing their age gap with a fan comment that read, “For years, Laila Ali, while retired, has been throwing shade and talking trash about Claressa Shields. Apparently, she wants the smoke. I don’t want to hear anyone talking about Claressa is picking on an old lady.”

Shields added, “Imma leave this right here.”

Despite the buzz, no contract has been signed and no date has been set. But Shields’ team has confirmed the money is real and the offer is on the table.

In the meantime, Shields is set to defend her undisputed heavyweight crown against Lani Daniels on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Wendy Williams Spotted Riding Scooter In NYC On 61st Birthday

Wendy Williams made another rare public appearance in Manhattan on Friday afternoon (July 18) — riding a mobility scooter as she turned 61.

The former daytime TV host smiled as she rolled along, wearing large black sunglasses and a bright yellow T-shirt with a sunburst-like design on the front, paired with denim shorts, fishnet stockings and a pair of Timberlands.

Wendy Williams chatted with people as she made her way to a New York deli, striking a contrast to her current life inside a memory care facility, where she says she feels trapped and alone.

On Thursday, July 17, she celebrated her birthday with a dinner at the iconic Delmonico’s steakhouse, surrounded by a small circle of friends.

Williams told TMZ, “[being out] of guardianship.”

Since 2022, Williams has lived under a court-ordered guardianship following her diagnosis with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.

Credit: Elder Ordonez/INSTARimages

In August 2024, the court declared her legally incapacitated. She has been living in an assisted care facility in Manhattan.

She has publicly disputed the court-appointed guardian’s claims that she suffers cognitive decline. Speaking out through her legal team and in interviews, she has maintained that she’s capable of managing her life again.

Her memory care experience has been described in her own words as “suffocating,” “very lonely,” and “prison-like.” Williams has stated she’s blocked from seeing many family and friends and spends her days around elderly residents with advanced memory disorders.

In 2023, doctors confirmed her diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

Despite this, Williams insists she’s mentally capable and has asked the court to end her guardianship. In February 2025, she formally petitioned for termination, claiming she had passed cognitive tests and was capable of living independently.

Recent weeks have brought legal and public support from her family. Last month, her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, filed a $250 million lawsuit, naming her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, the presiding judge and several others.

The complaint accuses them of stripping Williams of her constitutional rights and damaging her finances and mental health.

Singer Suzi—Who’s Worked With Jim Jones & Tory Lanez—Talks 360M Streams & Doing It All Herself

New Milford, New Jersey? Even stars have an origin story. Suzi, a multi-faceted talent, hails from a town most people have never heard of. A self-made powerhouse, she has done what many artists only dream of. She’s managed to work with artists like Jim Jones, Tory Lanez and Fetty Wap and had her music streamed millions of times.

On her debut single, “Nobody’s Better,” she partnered with Fetty Wap and got 93 million YouTube views. That catapulted her onto the global stage—but there’s more. Suzi isn’t just a singer. She’s a one-woman creative factory, producing her own vocals, visuals and everything in between. Her recent résumé includes a feature on Jim Jones’ “That Sh#t Still in Harlem” and Tory Lanez with “SPECIAL4U.” But, she also has a fresh new EP Hit the Target. She’s not waiting for a seat at the table, she’s building her own.

We caught up with Suzi at a recent event, where she shared what drives her, how she handles TikTok-era pressures and what’s next on her radar.

AllHipHop: Tell us about yourself.

Suzi: I’m an independent recording artist from New Jersey and New York. I dropped my first song “Nobody’s Better” featuring Fetty Wap 10 years ago. And you might’ve heard me again on Jim Jones’s “That Sh#t Still in Harlem.”

AllHipHop: That’s big. What was it like working with Jim and Fetty?

Suzi: So fun. Both of them are incredibly humble and kind. It’s inspiring to see people who’ve made it still be down to earth and super supportive. Shout out to both of them for real.

AllHipHop: Especially Jim, since he’s not from Jersey.

Suzi: Exactly! But the energy was there either way. Fetty repped Jersey, but Jim showed mad love.

AllHipHop: You’re in a crowded game. Everyone’s got a mic, camera and a dream. What makes you different?

Suzi: I do everything. I’m an audio engineer, songwriter, vocal producer, video editor, graphic designer. I even create my own content. I’m obsessed with creating. That first song did over 360 million streams worldwide. I think that speaks for itself.

AllHipHop: Wow. That’s next level. Who inspired you coming up?

Suzi: So many! I came up in that hybrid era. Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, then JLo and Britney, and more recently Ariana Grande and Kehlani. Just so many artists who do it all. I always gravitated toward the ones who were multi-dimensional.

AllHipHop: You mentioned Jersey. What part?

Suzi: North Jersey. A small town called New Milford. No one ever knows it—we’re right near Hackensack. But now? I’m putting it on the map.

AllHipHop: You definitely are. Any new music out?

Suzi: Yup! I just dropped an EP called Hit the Target. It’s available on all platforms. And I’ve got a lot more music coming this year, so stay locked in.

AllHipHop: The industry’s changed a lot. It’s TikTok this, algorithm that. How do you feel about all that?

Suzi: I’m not gonna lie. I don’t love that we have to constantly crank out content. It takes time away from what I really want to do: be in the studio, making music. That’s what fuels me. But I get it. It works for some folks, and I respect that. It’s just not my favorite part of the game.

AllHipHop: I feel you. I got some advice today about making content easier with AI involved.

Suzi: AI is here whether we like it or not. If it helps us, cool. But I hope we use it the right way. It shouldn’t replace the art.

AllHipHop: Facts. Any last words for the people?

Suzi: Just have fun! And stay tapped in—it’s Suzi!

Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show” Axed After Trump Settlement Criticism

Stephen Colbert revealed Thursday night that his reign at The Late Show will conclude in 2026, as CBS shuts down the long-running program amid broader financial constraints across late-night television, but of course, Donald Trump is somehow involved.

“I want to let you know something I found out just last night. Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending The Late Show in May,” Colbert told the stunned studio audience, who responded with a chorus of groans. “Yeah! I share your feelings. It’s not just the end of our show. It’s the end of The Late Show on CBS. I’m not being replaced. This is all just going away. I do want to say that the folks at CBS have been great partners.”

CBS confirmed the program’s conclusion was strictly a cost-driven decision. Executives stated that the issue was unrelated to viewership, content, or the company’s legal disputes.

“It’s purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late-night,” the statement said. The network added, “We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late-night television.”

Colbert stepped into The Late Show chair in September 2015, succeeding David Letterman, who held the role for over two decades.

Before that, Colbert hosted The Colbert Report on Comedy Central for nearly a decade, satirizing politics and media sharply since 2005. During his emotional announcement, Colbert offered gratitude to his team and supporters who’ve been part of the journey.

“I’m so grateful to the Tiffany Network for giving me this chair and this beautiful theatre to call home. And, of course, I’m grateful to you, the audience, who have joined us every night. I’ve had the pleasure and the responsibility of sharing what we do every day with you in front of this camera for the last 10 years,” he said. “It is a fantastic job. I wish somebody else was getting it. It’s a job that I’m looking forward to doing with this usual gang of idiots for another 10 months.”

CBS’s announcement coincides with a turbulent era for its parent company, Paramount, which has settled a $16 million lawsuit brought by Donald Trump over an allegedly altered interview involving Vice President Kamala Harris on 60 Minutes.

While Paramount’s producers denied all wrongdoing, Colbert openly criticized the company leadership over the payout to Donald Trump.

The news also comes as Paramount advances a major $8.4 billion merger with Skydance Media, pending approval from the Federal Communications Commission, signaling a wider industry transformation with direct implications for network programming.

The final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is set to air in May 2026.

Woman Who Filmed Viral Coldplay Affair Video Defends Decision To Post It

Grace Springer filmed what she thought was an awkward kiss cam moment at a Coldplay concert in Boston on Wednesday (July 16) and ended up igniting a viral storm that exposed a pair of corporate executives in an apparent affair.

The 28-year-old from New Jersey captured Andy Byron—CEO of $1.3 billion software company Astronomer—and his Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot sharing an intimate moment as Coldplay frontman Chris Martin directed the kiss cam toward them at Gillette Stadium.

Byron quickly ducked behind a barrier while Cabot turned her face away, visibly startled. As the crowd reacted, Martin quipped, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.” Springer posted the clip to social media, unaware of the fallout it would cause.

“I had no idea who the couple was. Just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it,” she told The U.S. Sun. “A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games… win stupid prizes. I hope their partners can heal from this and get a second chance at the happiness they deserve with their future still in front of them. I hope, for them, my video was a blessing in disguise.”

The video exploded overnight. Springer said it had a few thousand views when she went to bed. By the next morning, it had jumped to 7 million. As of Friday (July 18), it had surpassed 46 million views and 4.9 million likes.

The moment became a trending topic online, with many users criticizing the pair for their public display.

“Sorry for the wife but glad they’re being exposed and embarrassed,” one person wrote. Another added, “They are both incredibly stupid, sorry. Why would you go to a concert of all places if you are having an affair.”

Byron has served as Astronomer’s CEO since July 2023, while Cabot joined the company nine months ago. Her LinkedIn profile describes her as someone who “wins trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants.” Byron had previously praised her as a “proven leader” with “exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management.” Cabot, in turn, said she was “energized in my conversations with Andy and the Astronomer leadership team.”

In response to the backlash, Byron appeared to issue a public apology, but it was later proven to be fake. In fact, the statement originated with a 50-follower account called “Peter Enis”—as in “P. Enis.”

Rumors that the moment was staged were quickly shut down by production staff. “At a concert tour like this one, the cameraman/woman at this particular part of the show are just scanning the crowd and picking up random people,” a crew member told The U.S. Sun. “This situation would have been totally random.”

Another insider added, “It’s a shtick Chris does every show, picking out audience members etc. Their reaction made it much worse – very cringey. Not sure what they were thinking. Maybe they tried doing the math and thought the chances are super low at two to 50,000 that they would be seen on the big screen.”

Beyoncé Show Turns Dangerous As Bug Scare Triggers Stampede

Beyoncé drew tens of thousands to her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Atlanta, but the night ended in chaos when a bug sighting led to an escalator mishap that injured 11 people at a nearby train station. The incident unfolded just after midnight on Tuesday (July 15) at Vine City Station, adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where Beyoncé had just wrapped her sold-out show.

According to Stephany Fisher, senior director of communications for MARTA, “Just after midnight on Tuesday, July 15, 11 people leaving the Beyoncé concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta were injured on an escalator at Vine City Station.

One person suffered a broken ankle, seven people were transported to the hospital with cuts and scrapes. And one person declined transport. Two people requested medical assistance after reaching their destinations.”

The chain reaction reportedly began when a 10-year-old girl screamed after spotting a cockroach, triggering panic among the crowd. “There was someone who started to scream outside of the station. She was startled by a bug outside, outside the large crowd,” acting MARTA CEO Rhonda Allen told the transit board.

Fisher added, “MARTA Police on scene said there was a scream, and witnesses said the person who screamed was reacting to an insect. I believe there’s also video on TikTok of a woman claiming it was a 10-year-old relative who screamed when she saw a bug.”

The sudden commotion caused the escalator to surge, resulting in a pileup of passengers. The equipment’s manufacturer, Schindler, later confirmed the escalator itself did not malfunction. “As previously stated, we are aware of the incident that occurred at Vine City Station on July 15. As reported during yesterday’s MARTA Working Session, the escalator was inspected by state officials the morning following the incident.

“And there was no indication of equipment malfunction; rather, preliminarily it appears that the escalator was overloaded beyond design capacity causing the unit to briefly accelerate. And the brakes to engage as part of the unit’s multi-layered, code-required safety system,” the company said in a statement.

Despite the chaotic ending, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour continues to dominate the summer concert circuit. The genre-blending project has packed stadiums across the country, with critics praising her bold foray into country music and her ability to seamlessly fuse it with her signature sound.

Tee Grizzley’s Aunt Was Murdered in 2019—Now Police Think They Know Who Did It

OK, this one’s a little confusing, but hang with us.

Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley has been carrying a heavy loss for years, the tragic murder of his aunt and manager, Jobina Brown, who was shot and killed in 2019 while sitting in a car with Grizzley on Detroit’s east side. Damn.

He survived, but his aunt didn’t. It turned into a cold case. Until now.

This week, police have officially charged a man with the murder, and he’s not just some rando. He’s a Chicago affiliate of the 600 crew with deep roots in the drill scene. They have strong ties to big names like Booka600 and Lil Durk.

Now here’s where things get weird.

Tee Grizzley has a known relationship with Booka600. In fact, Booka is the one who introduced Tee to Durk. All of this led to collaborations and even a joint mixtape. These were people in the same circle. WTH?

The man, named Woo, who was just charged in the murder is reportedly someone who grew up with Booka600. He’s been seen in music videos with 600 Breezy and other members of the crew. So how did a guy from Chicago end up in Detroit, allegedly gunning down Tee Grizzley’s aunt?

That’s what has everybody scratching their heads.

Police say shots were fired into a black Chrysler with Tee Grizzley and two others inside. His aunt, 41, was killed instantly. Authorities still don’t know if Grizzley was the intended target and don’t have a clear motive. Oddly, Tee Grizzley has never really addressed the shooting publicly and even once claimed he wasn’t in the car at the moment of the shooting. The report says he was.

So what gives?

Now the Iiternet sleuths and street commentators say there may have been beef between Woo and Booka. Grizzley was just caught in the middle, because how his homie get knocked for this case. Also, Booka was just promoting Tee on the gram a few weeks ago! Others believe it could’ve been mistaken identity or street politics. The idea that someone from Grizzley’s rap circle, extended or otherwise, was behind the murder is leaving fans stunned.

As for now, Woo has been charged and appeared in court. This situation is much more complicated than anyone thought. I am leaving the rest of this up with the news section. I’m tired.

Stay locked in.

Rapper Ca$h Out & Mom Convicted Of RICO, Sex Trafficking

Atlanta rapper Ca$h Out can forget about picking up the microphone, because a Fulton County, Georgia jury just convicted the rapper of multiple counts in his RICO case over sex trafficking.

The rapper was found guilty of rape, pimping and aggravated sodomy as part of a years-long operation that prosecutors say trafficked women across Atlanta.

He was convicted on two counts of sex trafficking but cleared on a third. He was also acquitted of charges including sexual servitude, aggravated assault and maintaining a place of prostitution.

Georgia authorities accused Ca$h Out of spearheading a criminal operation alongside his mother and a third defendant.

His mother, Linda Smith, who also goes by “Mama Ca$h Out,” was found guilty of one trafficking count and acquitted of another and a prostitution charge.

Tyrone Taylor, the third man listed in the indictment, was convicted on all counts except pimping. Charges against Taylor included rape and aggravated sodomy.

The case, which unfolded in a Fulton County courtroom, exposed an organized sex ring stretching over the years. Prosecutors told the court that multiple victims were sexually assaulted by Ca$h Out and Taylor and coerced into prostitution.

Close to 60 witnesses were called, building a case centered on coercion, exploitation and alarming abuse. Several women testified that Ca$h Out or his mother took the money they earned from performing sex acts.

Some described being raped. One woman said she wasn’t allowed to eat unless she engaged in sexual acts for money.

Authorities also introduced a video from a prostitution sting as part of the prosecution’s evidence, arguing it illustrated the organized nature of the trafficking ring Ca$h Out led.

While the state charged Ca$h Out using RICO statutes usually reserved for mob-related crimes, prosecutors argued the organization operated like a for-profit criminal enterprise involving sex work and violence.

The trio is scheduled for sentencing later this year.

Ca$h Out rose to prominence with his hit single “Cashin’ Out” but had mostly slipped from the spotlight before authorities opened the criminal investigation in 2019.

Shannon Sharpe Folds To Tony Buzbee – Settles $50M Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Shannon Sharpe has reached a private settlement in a $50 million civil lawsuit filed by Jane Doe, who accused the NFL Hall of Famer of rape, battery and deliberate infliction of emotional distress during a two-year relationship that ended in early 2025.

“Both sides acknowledge a long-term consensual and tumultuous relationship. After protracted and respectful negotiations, I’m pleased to announce that we have reached a mutually agreed-upon resolution. All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice,” Tony Buzbee revealed.

The case, filed in Nevada in April, was led by attorney Buzbee, widely known for handling hundreds of lawsuits involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Filed under a pseudonym, the plaintiff claimed that Sharpe raped her in October 2024 and again in January 2025, even after she said “no” multiple times and cried through the encounters.

“A woman can say ‘yes’ to consensual sexual relations with a man ninety-nine times, but when she says ‘no’ even once, that ‘no’ means no,” the civil complaint read.

Sharpe labeled the suit a “shakedown” and denied all the accusations, pointing instead to what he said were consensual interactions that involved sexual role-play.

Buzbee released multiple audio files alleged to feature Sharpe making threatening remarks, including one where he’s heard saying he would “choke the s###” out of the plaintiff.

The fallout for Sharpe was swift. Sharpe stepped away from his role as commentator on ESPN First Take and canceled his eight-city Nightcap NSFW Tour with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.

From Beats to Bets: Why Hip-Hop Fans Are Vibing with Online Pokies for Real Money Wins

Hip-hop culture and online pokies for real money wins have created an unexpected yet perfect blend. This dynamic combination has transformed the digital casino world. The connection runs deeper than chance and stems from shared values of risk-taking, dreams of luxury, and the excitement of big wins.

Amazingly, online casinos embrace this cultural fusion today. They feature games that capture hip-hop’s creative spirit and energy. Some include graffiti-style slots and games based on the luxurious lifestyles of hip-hop stars. Let us explore this unexpected bond and its impact on hip-hop fans and the gambling industry.

Why Hip-Hop Fans Are Drawn To Online Pokies

Hip-hop represents more than music. It embodies a lifestyle of self-expression, hustle, and authenticity. This lines up with online gaming’s bold and strategic nature. Interestingly, the virtual reels of casino games also offer players a sense of control. It is similar to the confidence expressed in hip-hop lyrics.

Moreover, the cultural connection goes deeper. Dice games were common in many neighborhoods of hip-hop artists. So gaming metaphors flow through the genre naturally. In fact, artists like Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and The Notorious B.I.G. use gambling to symbolize life’s bigger challenges.

Music-themed online pokies also create a perfect mix for hip-hop fans. The games have high-energy soundtracks and attractive visual elements like urban-inspired aesthetics. Not only that, but they also have symbols representing hip-hop culture’s iconic items. This includes gold chains, luxury cars, and high-end sneakers. All these attract more hip-hop fans to online pokies.

What Makes Hip-Hop Themed Slots So Engaging

The genre’s spirit is perfectly captured in hip-hop-themed online pokies. They feature immersive design elements that go way beyond the reach and influence of basic background music. These games blend visual aesthetics with authentic soundtracks. This creates an experience that resonates deeply with fans of the culture.

In addition, music acts as the heartbeat of these games. Hip-hop-themed pokies blend actual tracks from renowned artists, unlike typical slots with repetitive sound effects. For instance, the slot, Snoop Dogg Dollars, plays a hip-hop soundtrack and voiceovers of the rapper. They improve the gameplay experience by adding varied tones and energy to each roll.

The games also feature progressive jackpots and cascading reels that mirror hip-hop’s dynamic nature. Titles like Loaded offer impressive prizes that line up with the genre’s celebration of success. For fans who want both style and substance, online pokies real money brings that energy to life with real stakes. Overall, these games get what hip-hop is about: expression, risk, style, and stacking up wins.

The Role Of Influencers And Social Media

Social media has emerged as a battleground where hip-hop and gambling culture collide. It creates powerful ways for fans to find online pokies for real money wins. Hip-hop artists have evolved beyond making music. Some now serve as gambling influencers with massive reach.

Some rappers occasionally also stream on platforms like Twitch or Kick while playing virtual games and engaging with fans. These streams give fans unprecedented access to watch their favorite artists win big or lose it all immediately. This creates deeper connections that traditional marketing cannot match.

Social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube have also multiplied hip-hop’s gambling influence. Artists show live gaming sessions to millions of followers. It makes betting seem normal in entertainment. Several hip-hop music videos also feature or have casino scenes and high-stakes gambling. They shape how audiences view the lifestyle.

Opportunities And Challenges Ahead

The fusion of hip-hop and online pokies creates exciting possibilities but also raises serious concerns.

The online slot scene has changed dramatically and rapidly. Modern technology creates immersive experiences that appeal to hip-hop fans. Some casinos today offer tailored musical environments and AR/VR technology. This helps players connect more deeply with the games.

However, the slot industry faces major regulatory challenges. Laws about gambling differ across regions, from getting licenses to rules about ads. Hence, many hip-hop-themed casino games must adapt to strict gambling laws in different places.

Protecting vulnerable people also remains a big concern. Young fans of hip-hop face higher risks from gambling ads that feature artists they love. Furthermore, managing intellectual property makes growth harder. Getting rights to music or artist brands needs complex and costly agreements. Smaller platforms often can not afford to work with popular artists, which limits opportunities for collaboration.

The Beat Continues

Hip-hop culture’s merger with online pokies goes beyond a simple trend. It reflects a natural development of shared values. The future of this cultural blend hinges on the ability of both industries to balance new ideas with responsibility. Players looking for genuine experiences will find more sophisticated hip-hop-themed games, while developers must work within complex rules to protect vulnerable groups.

EXCLUSIVE: UMG Slams Salt-N-Pepa—Says Rappers Don’t Own Their Music

Salt-N-Pepa launched a lawsuit in federal court to reclaim the rights to their most iconic recordings, but Universal Music Group says the pioneering rap duo never owned those rights in the first place.

The legal fight centers on Salt-N-Pepa’s attempt to terminate UMG’s control over works like Hot, Cool & Vicious and Very Necessary, which include chart-toppers such as “Push It,” “Whatta Man,” and “Shoop,” among others.

The group served a termination notice to the label in May 2022, claiming the Copyright Act allows them to regain ownership after a certain number of years.

However, UMG rejected the filing and responded with a motion to dismiss on July 17, 2025, stating that the group had no legal standing.

UMG’s main point is that Salt-N-Pepa never directly signed away the rights themselves. Instead, contracts for those albums were inked back in 1986 by producer Herby “Luv Bug” Azor through his production company, Noise In The Attic.

UMG says that makes NITA the author and copyright holder, not Salt-N-Pepa.

“Because plaintiffs, as alleged, did not grant rights in the recordings, they may not terminate any such grant,” attorneys for UMG argued in court records. Under 17 U.S.C. § 203, only the original author or the person who handed over the rights can terminate that agreement.

Even if Salt-N-Pepa were somehow able to regain control of the original recordings, UMG claims it would retain ownership of remixes—especially the heavily licensed versions of smash hits like “Push It.”

The label notes that those are considered “derivative works,” which are protected separately and permanently under existing contracts.

To make matters more complex, Salt-N-Pepa are also accusing UMG of “conversion,” a legal term for wrongfully taking or controlling someone’s property.

However, UMG argues that copyright law doesn’t permit such a claim in New York and contends that the Copyright Act supersedes it anyway.

UMG also urged the court to pause all discovery in the case, stating that reviewing decades-old contracts, email chains, and documents is unnecessarily expensive and premature.

The label believes the entire case should be dismissed without going to trial.

A federal judge will decide whether the lawsuit moves forward or is dismissed, according to court filings made on July 17, 2025.
