DJ Khaled Explains Why He Stayed Neutral In Drake’s Drama With Rick Ross & Future

DJ Khaled kept his distance from last year’s tension between Drake, Rick Ross and Future, telling Fat Joe on the “Joe & Jada” podcast that he refuses to get involved when his longtime collaborators are at odds.

“I love Drake, I love [Rick] Ross, I love Future,” Khaled said on the latest episode of the podcast. “What it feel like is that I didn’t get in that energy. There’s two energies I’m not gonna get in: hate.”

The veteran producer, known for his chart-topping collaborations with all three rappers, made it clear that loyalty doesn’t mean taking sides.

“Those are my brothers. You can question my friendship. How? It’s impossible,” he said.

Khaled, who’s built a career on bringing artists together, said the beefs were less about deep-rooted issues and more about miscommunication.

“A lot of this s### is a misunderstanding and a lot of not [communicating]. And that’s what it be about,” he explained. “When it comes down to DJ Khaled, I’m the one that’s gone’ try to fix it.”

He added, “I love my brothers and my brothers know that. I would love to squash it.”

Khaled has a history of stepping in when things get tense. Years ago, Young Jeezy credited him with helping resolve his feud with Rick Ross, which eventually led to their collaboration on “War Ready.”

While he’s steering clear of the current drama, Khaled is focused on his upcoming album Aalam of God.

He’s already dropped two tracks—one with Post Malone and NBA YoungBoy, and another featuring a lineup of dancehall artists.

NBA YoungBoy Brings Out Sexyy Red In L.A.—Sparks Pregnancy Jokes

Sexyy Red lit up the Crypto.com Arena stage earlier this week during NBA YoungBoy’s “Make America Slime Again Tour” stop in Los Angeles, then lit up Instagram with a post that had people doing double takes.

The St. Louis rapper joined YoungBoy for a surprise appearance during the second night of his sold-out LA shows, delivering crowd-favorite tracks like “Pound Town” and “F My Baby Daddy” to a packed house.

But it was what happened after the show that had social media buzzing.

Red posted a series of photos with YoungBoy and added a caption that sent her followers into a frenzy: “Get me pregnant… who tf just said dat??”

The comment section lit up with jokes and warnings, referencing YoungBoy’s famously large family.

“aht aht you finna b the 12th bm,” one person wrote. Another added, “Don’t do it you gone be BM 35.” A third chimed in, “she serious that’s what make it funnier.”

YoungBoy, 25, has fathered at least 11 children with multiple women, a detail his followers never let him forget. But that didn’t stop Red from stirring the pot with her cheeky caption.

This tour marks a major return for YoungBoy, who is back on the road following his early release from federal prison in March.

He had been serving a 23-month sentence after being convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a case that stemmed from a 2020 arrest.

His legal troubles took a dramatic turn when former President Trump granted him a full pardon, ending his supervised release. Though his original release date was set for July, his legal team secured his freedom four months ahead of schedule.

Jon B On 2Pac’s Final Verse, Michael Jackson’s Call, Nas’ Pull-Up & 30 Years Of Classic R&B

Jon B is a rarity: a white artist in R&B who never compromised his craft for pop crossover. He stepped away from album-making for more than a decade to prioritize family, and now, returning to a transformed music landscape, he rises like a phoenix. Born Jonathan David Buck, Jon B is back with Waiting on You, a set steeped in classic soul. He brings along vibrant collaborators—Rick Ross, Tank, and Alex Isley—but the album, start to finish, is unmistakably Jon B.

AllHipHop sat down with the R&B mainstay at WonWorld Studios for a conversation that feels both like a reunion and a reset. Fresh off the release of his album Waiting on You, Jon is in classic form—writer, producer, vocalist—reaffirming the warm, soul-first sound that made Bonafide a touchstone in 1995 and still packs venues today.

In this candid talk, the singer revisits a pivotal era when Hip-Hop and R&B learned to share the same room, revealing how his studio session with Tupac Shakur, which turned out to be ‘Pac’s final recorded verse, helped push the line authentically. He salutes mentors and peers (Babyface, Nas, Tank, Donell Jones, Rick Ross) and spotlights rising collaborator Alex Isley, whose tone he calls timeless.

Beyond credits, Jon centers authenticity. He was reared in a classical music household with a lifetime steeped in Black music culture as well as an 18-year marriage that grounds the star between sold-out weekends and school-day routines. Jon B makes a powerful case for R&B that grows up without growing dull. Watch the full interview below or some of the highlights in the edited transcript.

Tupac: The Studio, The Blessing, The Last Verse

Jon B: “Hip-hop and R&B weren’t really fused yet. We didn’t give people a choice…‘take it or leave it.’ Tupac being on the record changed everybody’s mind.”

In the lab with Pac: “We were in the studio two weeks before he went to Vegas, three or four hours in and we were already halfway done. As tough as his persona was, Pac was the nicest, most diligent worker. He was cutting another song in the next room while working on mine.”

Afeni’s green light: “I was reluctant to put it out after he died, didn’t want to exploit my man. Afeni Shakur told me, ‘My son loved that song. He wanted it to come out.’ That’s what made me release it.”

Creative push: “I’d drift from the melody and Pac would lock me in, ‘Nah, it goes like this…’ He coached and produced me too.”

Babyface & The 18-Year-Old Major-Label Run

Jon B: “Babyface was and is a mentor—vocally and musically. Signing to Yab Yum Entertainment with Tracy Edmonds opened the door to Epic Records. I was 18 walking into Sony like, ‘Whoa’…publishing deal, record deal, Learjet flights to New York.”

Michael Jackson: Remix + Phone Call

Jon B: “I remixed ‘You Are Not Alone’—they didn’t ask many people. Michael called the studio: ‘I love it—it’s different from the original and I like it.’ Later I shook his hand at the BRITs. He’s the goat of goats—my first favorite artist.”

Nas Pulled Up to the House: “Finer Things”

Jon B: “Nas came to my spot—we’re playing pool, chilling. I play him the beat. He goes, ‘That’s some male Sade—smooth. I can rock over that.’
He wrote the song twice. First version was dope; he said, ‘I hate it, I’ll redo it.’ The second time, he asked for names, cars, visuals—turned it cinematic.”

“If I was your man, your knowledge would expand till we both are equal… There’s three things on my list… Number one, you got to be real… Number two, be who you are… Number three, give me peace and I’ll show you the world.” —Nas on “Finer Things” as recited by Jon B

Authenticity, Race, and Kicking Down Doors

Jon B: “Early on my complexion was a challenge, people made jokes. I didn’t see other artists in my lane getting that. I feel like I knocked down walls so the next man didn’t have to.
Before there was a Justin Timberlake or Robin Thicke, I’d already dropped three R&B albums with platinum singles. This isn’t dress-up. I’ve lived R&B and Hip-Hop since junior high.”

The New Album: Classic Soul with Heavy Friends

Jon B: “Waiting on You is me bringing it back to what you know me for. Guests include Rick Ross, Donell Jones, Tank, and Alex Isley (Ernie Isley’s daughter).

Tank pulled up to my studio. I asked which verse he wanted—he said, ‘You bodied those. Let me put a bridge on it.’ Then he gave it the bridge of life-piano, strings-uplifted the record.
Alex has this classic, Sade-esque subtlety but her own jazziness. She heard a joint and cut it exactly as I wrote it. That’s the best compliment to a songwriter.”

Marriage, Family, and the Business That Actually Works

Jon B: “I’ve been married 18 years—two daughters (18 and 11). My wife is my manager—clothes, videos, bookings. If it wasn’t for her, this might not be the same interview.
We keep it classy, no reality shows, but we did our first magazine cover together and hit Sherri and Tamron Hall to celebrate our 18th.
Real talk: a lot of rappers managed by their wives are the ones doing well. Corporations can take 20% and not really pull for you. Your wife will, because it’s her household too.”

30 Years In—And Still Selling Out

Jon B: “Thirty years since Bonafide—shows are sold out, people singing album cuts that weren’t singles. I’m going to sing my heart out until I can’t. The celebration continues.”

August Alsina Defends His Relationship With Younger Boyfriend—Slams Grooming Accusations

August Alsina shut down grooming accusations and confirmed his relationship with rumored boyfriend Zu, after a photo post sparked backlash over their age gap and timeline.

The New Orleans native, who turns 33 later this month, faced criticism online after hinting he and Zu have been together for nearly five years. That detail led social media users to question when the relationship began, prompting Zu to directly address the speculation.

“I’m a grown ass man, with his own mind and free will,” Zu wrote in a lengthy Notes app message shared to social media. “I met August when I was already of age, an adult. Aug didn’t even know me when I was 16 or 17…not sure where that came from.”

He confirmed their romantic relationship, adding, “Yea there’s a slight age difference but y’all pick and chooses who to judge when it comes to that. We will have known each other for 5 years toward the end of the year, so he’s speaking in future terms because that’s where we plan to make it.” He ended the post with, “Hope this clears up any confusion.”

But the internet didn’t quiet down.

One user commented, “‘August is my boyfriend’ gone head and clear the AIR for anyone confused.”

Others remained skeptical, questioning the maturity gap and timing.

One critic wrote, “it really doesn’t babe regardless if he met you at 18 or 19 you weren’t grown and he was grown as the f###.”

Zu clapped back, “Awwwe cry me a river.”

The exchange continued with the critic responding, “i’m not sad i wasn’t groomed or dating a predator i like people in my age group.”

Zu replied, “Everybody entitled to the opinion, ik what it is..and I’m living the greatest life.”

August Alsina Weighs In Following Backlash

Another user added, “This don’t clear up anything. If anything makes y’all sound more guilty.”

Alsina didn’t stay silent. He fired back in a separate post, writing, “Guilty? This word implies that you thought yall held some sort of court or dominion over two grown ass people to be judged for some sort of outcome…. The level of delusion and narcissism yall live in is psychotic! Yall don’t even hold authority in your own life… let alone, MINE! Heal & pay ya rent family!”

He also revealed, “Zu lied to me about how old he was when we first clicked up. Granted, he was over 18… but the fact still remains. & I found out later, upon meeting the family.”

Alsina dismissed the “predator” label and made it clear that Zu is with him by choice. “Play somewhere, where it’s safe,” he added, telling critics to stay out of their relationship.

Donald Trump’s Hair Has Internet Running Wild With Conspiracies

Donald Trump’s hair and health are the internet’s latest obsession and the theories are wilder than ever.

The internet has been set ruminating over speculation after new photos of the former president surfaced, showing him looking noticeably different. Social media wasted no time letting the jokes fly. Comments like “Where is his hair?,” “That is not a healthy man,” and “Grim Reaper do your thing” spread like wildfire, making Trump the reluctant star of another viral storm.

Trump disappeared from public view for a few days, which only created more conspiracy. When he finally popped back up, the pictures didn’t do him any favors. His hair appeared thinner. Some even said that wig is gone! Axnd that familiar orange glow seemed dimmer than usual. The hat he wore looked tight enough to be covering something. Some of the comments I saw wondered if Trumpy had quietly gone bald.

I know you heard this next rumor. A lot of folks online are convinced he’s dealing with some kind of health crisis. His hand, which has been photographed a lot, looks like it has a recurring growth. Theories are running laps around the truth, which we do not know. They go from minor illness to something far more serious. One extreme MAGA commented, “Cut that hand off, damn it!” They want to save the president. A lot of people do not want that.

The Trump doppelgänger theory made its way back to the front. Some claim the man seen on the golf course yesterday wasn’t him at all, just a stand-in double keeping up appearances while the real Trump rests. The man is almost 80. Those naps get longer and longer…until the big nap.

Seriously, the timing couldn’t be worse. While the world deals with mass shootings, wars and global instability, Trump’s priority seemed to be hitting the golf course. Is there something we should know?

We are in the distraction era.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Shocking Weight Loss Starts Rumors, Truth Prevails

The first thing I saw was, “He’s not on ‘roids anymore.” The internet can be a terrible place. So began my trip to find the truth in the rumors.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson traded in his normally giant physique for a leaner look at the Venice Film Festival. Like the internet dark places I peruse, audiences were stunned. The 53-year-old wrestler-turned-actor slimmed-down for his role as MMA legend Mark Kerr in the new film “The Smashing Machine.”

The transformation was like a shot across the world. Somehow, I think it was apart of the marketing of this movie. I had not heard of it until now. Also, it could be his run and being taken seriously as a thespian. At Saturday’s Miu Miu Women’s Tales event, The Rock stepped out in a blue button-up and black trouser. He has not looked like this in decades. He was joined by co-star Emily Blunt, who plays Kerr’s ex-wife, Dawn Staples.

Social media immediately started calling him “The Pebble.” Honestly, I think the jokes are corny, because “The Rock” is still a big dude. I am sure he could bust a couple skulls if needed. But that’s another story.

The film tells the story of Kerr’s rise in UFC and MMA and his struggles with prescription drug addiction. But according to Johnson, the story cuts deeper than cage fights.

At a Monday press conference, Johnson opened up about taking on the most challenging role of his career. “When you’re in Hollywood — as we all know, it had become about box office. And you chase the box office, and the box office can be very loud and it can become very resounding and it can push you into a category and into a corner,” he said.

“I just had this burning desire and voice that was saying, ‘What if there is more and what if I can?’” Johnson continued. “Sometimes it takes people that who you love and respect, like Emily and Benny, to say that you can.”

He admitted the role forced him to confront questions he’d avoided. “I looked around a few years ago and I started to think, you know, am I living my dream or am I living other people’s dreams? You come to that recognition and I think you can either fall in line — ‘Well, it’s status quo, things are good, I don’t want to rock the boat’ — or go, I want to live my dreams now and do what I wanna do and tap into the stuff that I want to tap into.”

This reminds me of Sly Stallone in “Copland.” That was a good movie but did not turn him into that heavy actor he sought to be. Hopefully The Rock gets some grace.

“I’ve been scared to go deep and intense and raw until now, until I had this opportunity,” he said at the press conference. Dame Dash would pause him, but we’re going to let it slide.

“The Smashing Machine” is set to hit theaters Oct. 3.

Cardi B Loses It Over Giant Rat While Selling Her Album In NYC

Cardi B pulled up to a New York City subway station pushing her new album, Am I the Drama? like a true street hustler—and had a full-blown meltdown over a massive rat crashing the scene.

The Bronx-bred rap queen was spotted in the subway, selling physical copies of her album like it was 1998.

“Good evening everybody. I am trying to change my life around. I used to be a ballerina. Trying to make a better example for my kids,” she said, walking through the subway car.

But the promo party hit a hard pause when a monster rat came sprinting past.

The thing was huge, and Cardi freaked out like she saw a ghost. Her face said it all—pure horror. She literally jumped back and looked like she was ready to call pest control on the spot.

“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god,” Cardi B said. “I can’t, I can’t. Get me out of here.”

Aside from the rodent drama, Cardi made it clear her album is dropping September 19, and she’s pushing pre-orders hard.

She flashed multiple versions of the project, including the limited “Court Edition,” which has trial-themed cover art. One person even bought one, and Cardi stuffed the money in her bra.

Smokey Robinson Lawsuit Fast-Tracked Over His Age

Smokey Robinson lost a key courtroom battle in Los Angeles, where a judge ruled that four women accusing the Motown icon of sexual assault can move forward with their $50 million lawsuit while keeping their identities hidden.

The plaintiffs, all former housekeepers, will be allowed to proceed under pseudonyms despite Robinson’s push to force them to reveal their real names.

His legal team argued the women forfeited their right to anonymity when they appeared at a May press conference wearing masks and sunglasses.

Their attorneys said the women, all Latina, hesitated to come forward sooner due to fears of “reprisals” tied to their immigration status.

For now, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory W. Brazile sided with the women, stating, “This early in the case, I don’t think their identities need to be revealed. Maybe later, but for now, you’re not harmed. You know who they are.”

Smokey Robinson, 85, has denied all allegations and responded with a $500 million countersuit accusing the women of defamation and elder abuse.

“Through this process we have seen the bizarre theatrics of yesterday’s news conference, as the plaintiffs’ attorneys outlined vile, false allegations against Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, trying to enlist the public as an unwitting participant in the media circus they are trying to create,” Smokey Robinson’s lawyer Christopher Frost said.

The trial is scheduled to begin on October 11, 2027. Judge Brazile prioritized the case due to Robinson’s age, noting that most civil trials are scheduled three years out.

GloRilla Drops Hilarious Diss Track Skewering Young Thug & Mariah The Scientist

GloRilla and Young Thug are keeping the rumor mill working overtime this week. Enough already.

Another leaked jail call exposed Thugger for throwing shade at the Memphis star by calling her “ugly”— and he did not mince words. Why did he think he was not being recorded? Big Glo wasted no time firing back in the most Hip-Hop way possible—she hit the booth. But she did it different than “Ether.” Her diss might be “cyanide” or some other poison. A scorched-earth diss over Hot Styles’ infamous 2008 “Lookin’ A## Ni##a” had her making us laugh and likely hurt some feelings at the same time.

The track kicks off with Glo poking fun at herself, adopting the name “Brianna,” because during the call, Young Thug dismissed comparisons to Rihanna. He called her “Brianna.” So she turned Thugger’s jab into fuel…and she went in.

A post shared by AllHipHop (@allhiphopcom)

From there, the gloves came off. She called Thugger “Young Bug” and clowned his appearance with wild metaphors. She compared him to everything from a Black and Mild to a “Jamaican Vegeta.” She said the man was like dirt under a BRICK. Do you all know how grimy that is? She even roasted his “eccentric” wardrobe:

“Cut shirt wearin’ a## nia, skirt wearin’ a nia
A bug on the ‘Gram ’bout to chirp lookin’ a nia
A pain in the a tryna hump lookin’ a## nia
A ho in the mirror ’bout to twerk lookin’ a ni##a.”

But Thug wasn’t the only one to catch strays. Mariah The Scientist, his longtime partner, also got dragged into the crossfire. Glo mixed humor with venom, calling Mariah a “sexy Winnie The Pooh” while questioning why she tolerates Thugger’s rumored infidelity. Well, that was…ugly.

Despite the smoke, Glo was quick to remind everyone this is “all fun and games.” No malice, just laughs and music. I think it was evident that she was “getting her lick back,” but that it wasn’t that serious. Thug apologized already.

Young Thug tried to put out the flames. He hopped on Twitter (X) to apologize directly: “@GloTheofficial first of all I’m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all, I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.. I’m sorry to u twin.”

The apology may have cooled things down a bit, but Glo knew we needed some entertainment. And in Hip-Hop, sometimes that’s all you need.

One of Akon’s Wives Files For Divorce Days Before 29th Anniversary

Grammy-nominated singer Akon’s wife has filed for divorce just four days before their 29th wedding anniversary, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Tomeka Thiam filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, ending a marriage that began in September 1996. The timing of the filing comes as the couple would have celebrated nearly three decades together on Sunday.

According to the court documents, Thiam is seeking joint legal custody of the couple’s 17-year-old child while requesting primary physical custody. She is also pursuing spousal support and wants to prevent the court from awarding any financial support to Akon.

The divorce filing sheds light on what has been a complex personal life for the “Smack That” hitmaker.

Akon has been notably cryptic about his marital arrangements in past interviews, with various reports suggesting he practices polygamy, though Thiam appears to be his only legally recognized spouse in the United States.

The singer has previously acknowledged having multiple relationships. In a 2007 interview with Blender magazine, he discussed having five children with different women, though he has since fathered additional children.

Thiam, an entrepreneur who has largely stayed out of the public eye, met Akon when she was 18. The couple has maintained a relatively private relationship despite Akon’s international fame and success in the music industry.

The divorce filing comes during a period when Akon has been focusing on various business ventures, including his “Akon City” project in Senegal and his recent announcement about re-recording his catalog in country music format.

As recently as July 2024, the couple appeared to be on solid ground. In an interview with US Magazine, they shared what they called “super simple” secrets to maintaining their long-term relationship.

“If you know that this person is for you, then it’s for you,” Thiam said. “And there’s nothing that nobody can’t do. ‘OK, baby, where my journey has gone is where I’m going.’”

Akon reportedly has nine wives and in addition to Tomeka, at least one of them, Amirah-Iman Thiam, lives in the United States.

As AllHipHop reported, Amirah filed a lawsuit against Publix in May of 2025, after she was “violated” by a male employee inside the store.

“That dress got me rethinking my lunch break,” the man said. Before she could react, the man grabbed her buttocks and vaginal area.

Representatives for Akon did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the divorce filing.

Akon rose to fame in the mid-2000s with hits like “Lonely,” “Smack That,” and “I Wanna Love You.” He has sold over 35 million albums worldwide and has been nominated for five Grammy Awards throughout his career.

Dave Blunts Ends Collaboration With Kanye West, Tells Rapper To “Find God”

Dave Blunts is done ghostwriting for Kanye West after their partnership led to a full-blown war with 50 Cent on social media.

The Utah rapper-songwriter hopped on his IG Story to shut down questions about his collabs with Ye, making it clear he’s out of the game with the Chicago rap icon.

“Stop asking me about YE music I don’t work w dude anymore I’m on my own path!” Blunts posted.

Blunts helped pen some of Kanye West’s most controversial tracks in recent years, including the one originally called “Heil Hitler,”—now renamed “Hallelujah.”

He once said writing it made him “feel like Oppenheimer… Like, ‘Oh, what did I just do?!’” That track and others caught major flak for racist, antisemitic and homophobic content.

Critics didn’t hold back, and Blunt’s name got dragged into the storm for allegedly enabling Ye’s wildest takes. Blunts also shared a screengrab of an alleged text between himself and Ye, in which he told the rapper he was done because Ye needed to “find god.”

Now Blunts is pressing the eject button and the timing lines up with his ongoing beef with 50 Cent, who’s been trolling Ye over his ties to Diddy and the whole legal mess surrounding him.

In June, 50 posted a bizarre AI photo of himself in an all-white suit with the caption: “We are wearing white in honor of the freak offs. Damn Ye you should have brought your dirty little wife with that Grammys outfit!”

Blunts didn’t waste a second clapping back, firing off: “@50cent your bm was getting pooped and peed on. Hold this L and stop riding dck.”

Not to be outdone, 50 fired back with an Instagram pic of Blunts, captioned: “Ye this ya manz? If I catch him im pushing down the stairs.”

That kicked off a full-on online war. Blunts dropped a diss track called “Hey Curtis” aimed squarely at 50. Since then, the two have been throwing shade at each other.

Dave Blunts originally linked up with Ye in February 2025 and quickly became his go-to penman. Multiple sources—and even Ye himself—have said Blunts wrote a lot of the recent material that got Ye into hot water.

As for Kanye West, he is battling lawsuits, including one tied to his Donda Academy that accuses him of anti-Black discrimination and mistreatment of staff and students.

New York Drill Rapper 22Gz Reportedly Beaten Terribly In Rikers Island Prison

22Gz Reportedly Assaulted at Rikers Island After Arrest in Shooting Case

Brooklyn drill rapper 22Gz allegedly faced violence behind bars almost as soon as he entered Rikers Island, according to chatter circulating from rivals and social media posts tied to the New York drill scene.

The rapper was recently taken into custody in connection with an attempted murder case stemming from a shooting several years ago. Almost immediately after being processed at Rikers, reports began to spread online claiming he was “brutally beat” by alleged members of the Mac Baller Gang (likely Bloods from what I’ve been told).

Some of those claims appear to come from adversaries within the drill culture. Known for controversial lyrics and frequent disses aimed at opponents and even deceased rivals, 22Gz has long carried tension with other crews in New York. In his track “First Day Out,” he referenced Mac Baller affiliates by name, adding to a history of bad “blood” between the crews.

Now, those same groups are taking credit online, saying they “put hands on him” once he arrived inside the notorious facility. Images and posts from alleged gang affiliates have fueled speculation that the beating was connected to disputes from the streets spilling over into jail.

However, none of the reports have been independently verified. In the drill world, it’s common for rivals to rush to the internet with exaggerated or false stories aimed at tarnishing another rapper’s reputation. Allegations of being attacked in jail can damage street cred, possibly slow streaming numbers and weaken street image, even if the claims aren’t true. So, that’s a thing.

Officials at Rikers Island haven’t released a statement confirming or denying that 22Gz was involved in a fight. But the talk highlights just how closely street rivalries and music reps are intertwined in New York’s drill movement.

We’ll have to wait.

This incident, if true, marks mark another chapter in the rapper’s crazy and turbulent career. If 22Gz can survive this, maybe he’ll make the change outside of the prison walls.

EXCLUSIVE: Sanctioned Lawyer’s Client Pursues New Diddy Claim Over Alleged Cocaine Deal

Joseph Manzaro pulled Sean “Diddy” Combs and his ex-assistant Brendan Paul back into the legal blender with fresh court docs in New York, saying the two were wrapped up in a 2015 drug run in Florida—and he swears Brendan flat-out lied under oath.

Manzaro says he saw Brendan scoop up a kilo of coke and another of meth in Deerfield Beach like it was no big deal. According to him, Brendan rolled into Florida on a motorcycle from Ohio and picked up the goods with no cash exchanged, claiming the price was already locked in.

He also claims Brendan was flexing about pushing meth to college kids and even mocked him after some kind of scuffle at a party. Manzaro says Brendan was hired through Instagram by Christian Combs—Diddy’s son—to help move product.

Now Manzaro wants the court to grill Brendan in a hearing to see if he perjured himself in Diddy’s blockbuster RICO trial, before the rap mogul is sentenced, which is scheduled to happen on October 3, unless the embattled Bad Boy founder is granted a retrial.

This isn’t Manzaro’s first wild accusation against Diddy.

Earlier this year, Manzaro went after Gloria and Emilio Estefan with a lawsuit that claimed there was a secret tunnel connecting their place to Diddy’s Star Island mansion, which led him to a secret room where he was sexually assaulted.

The court tossed that one, calling it “frivolous” after public records showed that none of the celebs named, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, or LeBron James, were even in Miami at the time.

Manzaro’s lawyer, Travis Walker, got hit with a $7,000 fine for filing that Estefan case without checking basic facts. The judge called the whole thing reckless.

Even after all that, Manzaro keeps showing up with new filings, tossing racketeering claims at Diddy, Brendan and whoever else he thinks is part of this supposed drug ring.

So far, the court has not taken him seriously.

Sofas That Match Your Lifestyle: Finding the Perfect Balance of Comfort and Style

In any home, the sofa is more than a piece of furniture. It’s where life happens — from movie nights and casual conversations to quiet moments of relaxation. The right sofa can transform a living space, making it more comfortable, functional, and stylish. Choosing one, however, is not always simple.

With countless designs, fabrics, and features to choose from, homeowners need to balance personal style with practical needs to make a smart investment.

Why the Sofa Matters

The sofa often acts as the anchor of a living room. Its placement defines the layout, influences the flow of movement, and sets the tone for the space. A thoughtfully selected sofa enhances both the look and feel of a room, providing comfort while expressing the homeowner’s personality.

Unlike accent chairs or coffee tables, the sofa takes center stage. It is also used more heavily than most other pieces of furniture, which makes durability a key factor in any decision. A well-made sofa is not just about immediate appeal; it’s about long-term performance.

Factors to Consider When Buying a Sofa

A sofa should be chosen with both heart and mind. While style is important, practical considerations are just as essential.

Size and Scale
The sofa must fit the room, leaving space for movement and other furniture. Oversized sectionals may crowd smaller rooms, while a petite loveseat might look lost in a spacious open plan.

Frame Quality
Durability begins with the frame. Hardwood frames, reinforced joints, and solid construction ensure the sofa holds up over time. Avoid particleboard or softwood frames, which tend to warp or break under pressure.

Cushioning
Comfort depends heavily on cushions. High-resilience foam offers firm support, while down blends provide a softer, more casual feel. Many companies now offer customizable firmness to match individual preferences.

Fabric
Fabric influences both aesthetics and durability. Families often benefit from stain-resistant textiles or removable covers, while leather or velvet makes a bold style statement. Performance fabrics combine elegance with practicality, making them a popular choice.

Customization and Sofa Design

One of the biggest shifts in the furniture industry is the growing demand for customization. Homeowners no longer have to settle for generic showroom options. Instead, they can design a sofa that fits their space, lifestyle, and personality.

For example, a personalized pink sectional designed to your specifications adds a playful yet sophisticated touch to any room. Customization allows adjustments in width, depth, arm style, leg finish, and cushion firmness, while choosing color and fabric helps the piece feel uniquely yours. In smaller spaces, a compact tufted loveseat might be ideal, while expansive pink sectionals can become a bold focal point in larger living rooms. This flexibility ensures your sofa complements the design rather than competing with it.

Sofas as Everyday Investments

Investing in a sofa goes beyond filling an empty space. It is a decision that influences comfort, wellness, and even lifestyle habits. A supportive sofa promotes better posture and relaxation. A spacious sectional encourages gatherings, while a cozy loveseat invites quiet downtime.

Over time, a well-made sofa becomes the backdrop of family milestones and everyday life. Whether it’s hosting friends, curling up with a book, or enjoying a streaming marathon, the sofa quietly supports some of the most memorable moments in a household.

Making the Right Choice

Finding the ideal sofa requires balancing design preferences with practical realities. Here are a few guiding principles:

  • Think about lifestyle: A family with young children may need stain-resistant fabrics, while a single professional might prioritize sleek design.
  • Plan for the future: A high-quality sofa can last over a decade, making it worthwhile to choose one that adapts to changing tastes and spaces.
  • Prioritize comfort: Style should never come at the expense of comfort. The right cushioning and dimensions make all the difference.

The most successful choice is the one that feels both beautiful and functional for daily living.

FAQs About Sofas

1. How long should a sofa last?
A quality sofa that is built with hardwood and has durable cushions can easily last 10–15 years or even more with regular care.

2. What type of sofa is best for small spaces?
Compact loveseats, armless sofas, and modular pieces work well in smaller living areas. Custom sizing also ensures a perfect fit.

3. Are custom sofas worth the investment?

4. Which fabrics are easiest to maintain?
Performance fabrics, leather, and removable slipcovers are the easiest to clean and maintain.

7. What should I look for in a durable sofa frame?
Opt for hardwoods like oak or maple, reinforced joints, and kiln-dried construction for the strongest results.

8. How can a sofa influence the look of a room?
As the largest piece of furniture in most living rooms, the sofa anchors the space. Its color, shape, and size set the design tone.

Jonathan Majors & Meagan Good Reveal First Photos From Intimate Backyard Wedding

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good unveiled their wedding photos for the first time during a Thursday (September 11) appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, offering a rare glimpse into their private backyard ceremony officiated by Majors’ mother, Terri Anderson-Watson.

The couple, dressed in understated elegance, stood hand-in-hand at the altar. Good, 45, wore a delicate cream lace gown with thin straps and a short white veil, while Majors, 36, kept it simple in a white shirt and cream pants.

One photo captured them sharing a kiss, another showed them exchanging vows under the open sky

Anderson-Watson, who led the ceremony, spoke about the weight of her role.

“It was a strange position to be in,” she said. “As the pastor, I was concerned about their spiritual position in marriage because this is a vow they’re making before God. It had to be for real. It had to be deep, and it had to be lasting.”

She confirmed the couple completed premarital counseling before tying the knot and emphasized their shared values, faith and desire to build a family.

“She came as his friend and handed me anointing oil as I prayed for him, and then took this man as a friend in her arms and held his head in her hands, and cried and prayed with him,” Anderson-Watson recalled.

Jonathan Majors & Meagan Good Confirmed Marriage In March

The couple’s relationship began in May 2023, just two months after Jonathan Majors was arrested on assault charges stemming from an incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

He was later convicted in December 2023 of misdemeanor assault and harassment and ordered to complete a year-long domestic violence intervention program.

Despite the legal turmoil, Good remained by his side. Their engagement followed in November 2024, and Majors confirmed the marriage in March 2025, telling People that he asked Good’s father for permission before proposing.

Good, previously married to producer DeVon Franklin for nearly a decade, has been vocal about her support for Majors.

In August, she posted photos from her 44th birthday trip to Cartagena, Colombia, with Majors and their extended family, writing, “THEE MOST EPIC BIRTHDAY FAMILY TRIP EVER! Such beautiful memories I will cherish for a lifetime.”

Their Tamron Hall interview marked their first major joint appearance since confirming their marriage.

The couple spoke about how their shared faith continues to guide their relationship and future plans, including children.

EXCLUSIVE: 6ix9ine Facing Additional New Charges For Violating Supervised Release

6ix9ine has been busy calling out Young Thug for cooperating with prosecutors, but his own legal troubles have just worsened, as he now faces new federal charges for allegedly violating the terms of his supervised release.

U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer announced Friday that the rapper will be arraigned on additional violations tied to his supervised release.

His September 25 sentencing in a separate drug case will be delayed and the court will use that same day to formally present the new charges.

6ix9ine pleaded guilty in July 2025 to drug possession after cocaine and ecstasy were found at his Miami home. Prosecutors dropped two other charges in the drug case, related to a gun and fentanyl found in his home, after DNA evidence failed to link them to 6ix9ine.

That plea already put him in violation of his supervised release, which stems from his 2019 conviction for racketeering.

Judge Engelmayer previously warned Hernandez that continued violations could result in up to five years in prison, stating that the rapper appeared to believe “the rules don’t apply to him” due to his celebrity status.

In November 2024, 6ix9ine served 45 days in jail after a judge found he had traveled without permission and failed multiple drug tests.

He also tested positive for methamphetamine. After his release, he was placed under a strict schedule that included home confinement, detention and a curfew.

The new charges come as 6ix9ine remains under scrutiny for his conduct since cooperating with federal prosecutors in a major gang case. In 2019, he pleaded guilty to racketeering and several violent crimes tied to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, a New York street gang.

As part of a plea deal, Hernandez testified against other gang members, which drastically cut his sentence from a potential 47 years to just two.

He was also ordered to pay a $35,000 fine, complete 1,000 hours of community service and serve five years of supervised release.

Court officials have not disclosed the nature of the latest violations. The upcoming arraignment will determine how the court proceeds with sentencing and whether Hernandez will face additional prison time.

Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Killer Caught After Two-Day Manhunt, Donald Trump Confirms

Donald Trump confirmed that the man suspected of killing Charlie Kirk during a speech at Utah Valley University is now in custody, ending a tense 48-hour manhunt that drew national attention.

“I think with a high degree of certainty we have him in custody,” Trump said on Fox & Friends Friday morning (September 12), adding he was informed of the arrest just a few minutes before going live.

Kirk, 31, was gunned down on Wednesday (September 10) while addressing students at the Orem, Utah campus.

Authorities say the shooter fired from a rooftop before fleeing on foot into nearby woods. Surveillance footage captured a person dressed in black sprinting across buildings. A Mauser .30-06 bolt-action rifle, wrapped in a towel, was later recovered by the FBI.

Trump said the suspect, described as 28 or 29 years old, turned himself in after a minister recognized him and contacted his father.

“The father convinced the son,” Trump said. “They drove into the police headquarters, and he’s there now.”

The suspect’s identity has not yet been released by law enforcement. FBI Director Kash Patel is expected to provide further details during a press briefing later Friday.

Kirk, who co-founded Turning Point USA at just 18, became a prominent figure in conservative youth politics. His organization helped mobilize thousands of young voters and played a significant role in Trump’s political base.

Trump also announced that Kirk will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and confirmed he will attend the funeral in Arizona.

Ice Cube Drops Wisdom On Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 Stream

Ice Cube dropped in on Kai Cenat Thursday (May 16) during the Twitch star’s record-breaking Mafiathon 3 stream, delivering laughs, wisdom and an unexpected dose of nostalgia after the stream hit his goal of 400,000 subscribers.

The 56-year-old Hip-Hop icon made his entrance as part of Cenat’s month-long streaming marathon, which has featured a rotating cast of celebrity guests and viral moments.

Ice Cube’s appearance added another layer of star power to the already headline-grabbing event.

At one point, Cube FaceTimed Mike Epps, who praised Cenat’s earlier segment with Marlon Wayans, saying it “had me on the floor.” Cenat immediately extended an invite for Epps to join the stream.

Another standout moment came when Cenat showed Cube the AMP Cypher, which included a cameo from Kevin Hart. Cube, clearly caught off guard, reacted with a laugh: “This n####! G######! I can’t get away from this G###### Chocolate Drop.”

As is tradition for Cenat’s guests, Ice Cube closed out his segment with a motivational message.

“Always believe in yourself,” he urged viewers. “Always push and always look within for your inspiration. It’s not always out, it’s in. Go with your gut. Go with your instincts. Mind your own business. You live longer. Remember that from your homie Ice Cube and always, always, man, give 110 percent. And give thanks to the man upstairs, man. Be grateful. The stream, which runs throughout September, has racked up millions of views and continues to dominate social media with viral clips and guest appearances.

Young Thug Drops “Man I Miss My Dogs,” Apologizes To Drake, Lil Baby, & More

Young Thug opened up about fractured friendships and personal regrets in a raw seven-minute single released Thursday night (September 12), using “Man I Miss My Dogs” to apologize following the fallout from leaked jail calls.

The Atlanta rapper, born Jeffery Williams, uses the track to apologize to Mariah The Scientist, Drake, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Future and Gucci Mane following a string of personal conversations that were leaked online in 2025.

The calls, recorded during his time in custody from 2022 to 2024 as part of the YSL RICO case, revealed intimate details about his relationships and unfiltered opinions about fellow artists.

The song opens with a direct message to Mariah The Scientist, who stood by him throughout his legal ordeal.

“Baby, I’m sorry, one of my biggest fears is losing you to the internet/Waking up in our bed without you right by my neck/ Saying don’t you break a sweat, pillow talking ain’t my game,” he raps.

He then turns his attention to Drake, who he criticized in one of the leaked calls. Thug walks back those comments and thanks the Toronto rapper for his loyalty.

“Drizzy, you my brother/ You know I ain’t going against you/ I got manners/ Everything you did for the rap community can’t ban you/ Never diss you/ Came to visit me at Cobb County like my kin do/ F### the jail call, you know the other calls we had.”

Elsewhere in the track, Young Thug reaches out to Lil Baby, noting that the rapper had stopped answering his calls. He reflects on their shared history in Atlanta’s Hip-Hop scene and asks for a chance to reconnect.

He also addresses 21 Savage, who was heard on leaked audio discussing Gunna’s plea deal.

Young Thug Issues Apologies On Instagram

Before releasing the song and video, Thug posted messages to those he was addressing, and the response was immediate. Both Drake and 21 Savage “liked” his Instagram post, signaling some level of support for the olive branch.

“Man I Miss My Dogs” is expected to be part of Thug’s upcoming album UY SCUTI, which is rumored to drop Tuesday (September 19).

The project will be his first full-length release since his legal issues began and appears to focus heavily on reconciliation and reflection.

Thug’s return to music comes as he attempts to reclaim his narrative after a turbulent legal battle and the public fallout from the leaked calls. His release terms include probation restrictions that may shape his future performances and appearances.

Ice Spice Is Thick Again & Here’s The Secret To Her Jaw Dropping Body

Ice Spice hit the internet with body goals and bars, flexing her curves in the new “Gyatt” video with Latto and letting the haters know her glow-up had nothing to do with shots or shortcuts.

The Bronx rapper has been super open about her body changes lately—especially after dropping 20 pounds last year, which had people online losing their minds.

Some said she looked too skinny and others accused her of hopping on the Ozempic bandwagon.

Now she’s showing off the results of what she says is real work and real food. In an interview with Nylon, Ice laid out the secret sauce to her thick comeback.

“Protein is great for you. I love protein. I try to get a lot of protein in, to be honest. That’s the key to being thick. You can’t be thick without mad protein. I swear.”

Her latest video for “Gyatt” puts it all on display. The visuals are full WWE fantasy with both Ice and Latto rocking bold fits, shaking the ring with energy and curves.

Fans online have already been hyping her up for looking “so much healthy and better now.”

Ice says the bounce-back came from keeping her meals clean, hitting the gym, and grinding through a tough tour schedule—not some magic weight-loss injection.

“You lazy-ass b###### never heard of a gym? It’s called the gym, it’s called eating healthy, it’s called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting at home all f###### day, it’d be easier to stay big,” she said during a live chat on X Spaces in 2024.

Ice Spice has been real about her body journey, both when she slimmed down and now that she’s thick again.

Trey Songz Finally Settles Digital Penetration Lawsuit

Trey Songz resolved a civil lawsuit tied to a 2018 New Year’s Eve encounter at a Miami nightclub that led to serious allegations of sexual assault, avoiding a courtroom showdown just weeks before trial.

The R&B singer, born Tremaine Neverson, was accused by Jauhara Jeffries of groping and digitally penetrating her without consent while on the dance floor.

Jeffries filed the lawsuit in 2021, claiming assault and battery stemming from the incident at a South Florida venue. Neverson, 40, denied all allegations.

The case had been scheduled to go before a jury next month, but according to a report by Billboard, both parties reached a confidential out-of-court settlement.

“This court has been advised that the matter has been settled as to all parties and therefore, it is hereby ordered and adjudged that this case is dismissed,” wrote Judge Antonio Arzola in a court order. “The court reserves jurisdiction to enforce the settlement and to enter orders necessary to this enforcement.”

Attorneys for both Jeffries and Neverson declined to comment on the resolution.

This is not the first time the “Slow Motion” artist has been named in a sexual misconduct case. In 2022, he reached a settlement with another woman who alleged he assaulted her during a 2016 party.

Neverson is also facing an upcoming trial stemming from a separate 2021 sexual assault claim. That case is scheduled to begin on March 16, and the Virginia-born singer is expected to testify.

Jay-Z Defends His Times Square Casino Plan Despite Backlash

Jay-Z is moving full steam ahead with plans to plant a Caesars Palace casino in the middle of Times Square despite community advocates and stakeholders’ criticism.

The Hip-Hop icon and Roc Nation founder has teamed up with SL Green and Caesars Entertainment to secure one of three downstate casino licenses in New York.

Their joint proposal would bring a multibillion-dollar Caesars Palace Times Square to the city’s most trafficked entertainment corridor.

“New York City is the entertainment capital of the world, so the idea of a world-class casino here makes perfect sense,” Jay-Z said in a recent interview with City & State New York.

The casino is more than a gambling destination for Jay-Z—it’s a cultural play.

“The project brings positive, lasting benefits through meaningful partnerships and investments: from supporting cultural institutions like the Civil Rights Museum to uplifting local theaters such as Town Hall and Sony Hall,” Jay-Z said. “Our goal is to create opportunity and ensure this project delivers real value to the communities that need it most.

He called Times Square “the heartbeat of New York; a place where millions of people come every year to see Broadway shows, shop, celebrate the New Year, and experience the city’s unmatched energy.”

While the proposal promises jobs and economic growth, it has drawn backlash from critics concerned about the casino’s potential impact on Black and working-class communities, particularly regarding gambling addiction.

Jay-Z has addressed these concerns by promoting “responsible gaming” and community investment programs as part of the project’s framework.

Still, the rapper-turned-entrepreneur firmly believes that the casino will be a net positive.

“Our vision is to build a destination that draws even more people into the neighbourhood, generating new energy, new business, and new opportunities for everyone,” he said.

This isn’t Jay-Z’s first foray into the gaming world. In 2008, Roc Nation operated a casino within the Las Vegas location of the 40/40 Club, establishing the company’s foothold in the industry.

The New York State Gaming Commission will ultimately decide which proposals move forward. Several heavyweight bidders are vying for the licenses, hoping to tap into the lucrative downstate market.

Jay-Z’s pitch includes collaborations with Broadway theaters, local nonprofits and community groups, aiming to blend economic development with cultural preservation in the heart of Manhattan.

The broader debate over casino expansion in New York continues to stir tension.

Proponents say new venues will bring jobs and tax revenue, while opponents fear increased gambling-related harm and neighborhood disruption.

The final licensing decisions are expected later this year.

HBCUs Locked Down After Black Students Targeted With Threats Amid Rising Political Violence

Hampton University and Southern University were among at least six historically Black colleges and universities that went into lockdown Thursday (September 11) after receiving threats deemed hoaxes by the FBI, reigniting concerns over the safety of Black academic institutions.

The affected schools included Alabama State University, Virginia State University, Clark Atlanta University, and Bethune-Cookman University.

Spelman College also issued a shelter-in-place order due to its location near Clark Atlanta. The FBI confirmed it was investigating the threats but said no credible danger had been found.

“The FBI is aware of hoax threat calls to a number of historically Black colleges and universities,” the agency said in a statement. “The FBI takes these threats very seriously because it puts innocent people at risk.”

Despite the absence of confirmed danger, schools reacted swiftly.

Hampton University canceled all nonessential operations and sports events through Friday. Virginia State University announced on Facebook that “out of an abundance of caution, VSU remains on lockdown.”

Southern University locked down its entire Baton Rouge campus, including its law school, and advised students and staff to “shelter in place until further notice.”

The university later lifted the lockdown but canceled all activities for the remainder of the weekend. Clark Atlanta University and Bethune-Cookman University also activated emergency protocols, citing safety concerns.

The Congressional Black Caucus issued a sharp rebuke of the threats, calling them “vile” and “a chilling reminder of the relentless racism and extremism that continues to target and terrorize Black communities in this country.”

The group demanded that the FBI and Department of Justice “act swiftly to fully investigate these threats and pursue the appropriate legal action against those responsible.”

Civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton also weighed in, referencing the recent shooting of conservative speaker Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.

“We have seen too much violence on our campuses, whether it was the brazen murder of Charlie Kirk yesterday or the threats against these HBCUs today,” Sharpton said. “Colleges and Universities should be a place of free expression and debate in a way that’s respectful, engaging, and productive. What we have seen the last two days is anything but that.”

This week’s threats mirror a disturbing pattern from 2022, when 49 HBCUs received bomb threats, some repeatedly. The FBI later identified a juvenile as the source of most of those racially motivated hoaxes.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that those threats triggered federal hate crime investigations.

Officials have not linked Thursday’s threats to the Utah incident. As of Thursday evening, all lockdowns had been lifted, but several campuses remain on alert.

Charleston White Laughs Off Charlie Kirk Death After HBCU Drama: “Didn’t Nobody Shoot Me”

Charleston White insulted Charlie Kirk and his family in a profanity-laced rant, mocking the conservative figure’s recent death during a campus event and contrasting it with his own controversial appearance at an HBCU just one day earlier.

White, known for his inflammatory remarks, dismissed Kirk’s killing with zero remorse.

“I don’t give a f### about [Charlie] Kirk’s death. N####, I don’t give a f### about no white man dying. I don’t give a f### about no white boy dying, I don’t give a f### about no peckerwood. F### his kids, I don’t give a f### about that white boy’s kids,” White said in a video posted online. “All the poor n##### that’s died? I don’t give a f### about white on white crime. White people don’t give a f### about black on black crime.”

Kirk was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while hosting a “Prove Me Wrong” Q&A; session at Utah Valley University.

The 31-year-old was struck in the neck by a single round from a bolt-action rifle. His wife and children were present at the Utah event but were not harmed.

Kirk died shortly after at a local hospital.

The shooter fired from a rooftop and fled before authorities arrived.

The FBI and Utah officials are still searching for the suspect and have released images of a person of interest.

A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

White used the tragedy to draw a comparison to his own incident at Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was chased off campus after making inflammatory remarks during a debate event on September 9.

“Didn’t nobody shoot me on the college campus,” White said. “That’s why they need to stay off them white folk campers. Had they been to an HBCU, they just would of just recorded it.”

White’s appearance at the historically Black college quickly unraveled when he told the audience, “F*** racism, I don’t believe in racism,” and “I don’t give a damn about no HBCU, I went to a white school.”

The crowd responded with outrage and White was escorted out by security after students followed him off stage.

Doubling down, White added, “Ah, they think I care about a white man gettin’ killed. N####, I killed a white man. He shoulda had protection.”

Law enforcement confirmed the shooting was premeditated and targeted.

The incident has drawn condemnation from political leaders, including Donald Trump, who called Kirk a “legend.”
