Daddy Yankee Nukes El Cartel Records Over Wife’s Alleged Data Destruction Conspiracy

Daddy Yankee had to shut down his label El Cartel Records after accusing his ex-wife Mireddys González and her sister of trying to yank $100 million and delete years of receipts from his empire.

According to a wild federal lawsuit filed in Puerto Rico, the reggaetón legend had no choice but to shut down his label after discovering what he says was a full-on betrayal by his longtime partner and her sibling, Ayeicha González.

The drama kicked off when Yankee filed for divorce in December 2024 and asked for business records. Instead of handing them over, Mireddys allegedly flipped the script and tried to move $100M from company accounts into her own pockets.

She and Ayeicha didn’t stop there.

The suit says they locked Yankee out of vital emails and wiped out four years of financial and business history—including files tied to his farewell tour La Última Vuelta and a huge music catalog deal.

Forensics backed it up. Deleted emails. Missing docs. Gone.

Mireddys later admitted under oath that she deleted emails, saying through her lawyer it was about “protecting” her privacy, not hiding evidence.

Yankee founded El Cartel Records back in 2003 to run his music biz. He had put Mireddys in charge and let her appoint Ayeicha to key roles. That trust? Completely wrecked.

The lawsuit says he was iced out of his own financials for over a year before taking things to court. By December 26, 2024, a judge gave him full control over the companies. But by then, the damage was done.

He officially axed El Cartel Records on April 23, 2025, saying the data destruction made it impossible to run the business, respond to audits or track money moves.

He’s now suing for millions, claiming violations of federal laws and demanding the return of any deleted materials still in their hands.

Their nearly 30-year marriage ended in early 2025, and with it, a $200 million empire built on music, trust and now, lawsuits.

Diddy Says He’s Being Served Maggot-Infested Food In Hellhole Jail

Diddy is demanding his release from federal custody, claiming brutal living conditions and government overreach have turned his time at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center into a nightmare.

In a letter filed Sunday (August 3), Diddy’s legal team urged Judge Arun Subramanian to grant bail ahead of his October 3 sentencing.

The Hip-Hop mogul was acquitted last month of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges, but remains detained on lesser counts under the Mann Act, which criminalizes transporting individuals across state lines for unlawful sexual activity.

His attorneys argue the government is punishing him more harshly than others with similar charges, despite a jury clearing him of the most serious allegations.

“Hellbent on punishing him for being a user of prostitution services in a more draconian manner than anyone in U.S. history, the government continues to target him unfairly, just as it has done from the inception of this provably misplaced investigation,” the letter states. “Despite the jury’s verdict, it continues to make factual statements that are plainly at odds with what twelve New Yorkers found and to try to keep Combs incarcerated even though the jury rejected the serious charges that led to his pre-trial detention in the first place.”

The filing also paints a grim picture of life inside MDC, citing frequent lockdowns, poor medical treatment and unsanitary food.

“MDC routinely serves food that is expired and infested with maggots…lockdowns also remain common, despite the government’s claims,” the letter reads.

Diddy’s lawyers say the facility’s conditions have deteriorated further due to federal budget cuts. They reference a case where 25 inmates and a former corrections officer were charged in connection with smuggling and violent incidents at the jail.

“Living conditions at MDC remain inhumane, and the situation has worsened due to federal budget cuts,” the letter continues.

They also argue that Diddy has not posed any threat while in custody, noting his clean behavioral record during 11 months of incarceration.

“Violent people are violent in jail as well. Sean Combs has been free of violence of every sort,” the letter adds.

The defense emphasized that Combs, a father of seven, remains committed to his family and has actively participated in his legal defense.

The government has yet to respond publicly.

EXCLUSIVE: Grandmaster Flash Marks August 4 With 20-Hour Twitch Event

Grandmaster Flash will celebrate Grandmaster Flash Day on Monday (August 4) with a worldwide DJ marathon and digital celebration. Since 2023, Flash has been officially recognized by the City of New York City with his own commemorative day for his pioneering contributions to Hip-Hop and DJ culture.

“The mayor of New York was like, ‘Flash, we’re going to give you a plaque and your own day,’ and I was like, ‘What?’ They gave me a proclamation and they said August 4th is Grandmaster Flash Day,” he told AllHipHop. “They wanted me to be recognized for the things that I did, the technique that I invented that brought all the rappers to life and other things.”

Instead of another block party like the first year, Grandmaster Flash is taking the celebration online with his “Back2Back Raid Train” on Twitch. The event will feature more than 20 DJs from across the globe, including Skratch Bastid, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Icy Ice and Grandmaster Flash himself.

“Myself and some of my good friends who do the Raid Trains, we got together and said, ‘Let’s do a Raid Train on August 4,’ and here we are,” he said. “I like the idea of doing this because it gives me a chance to say thank you to all the DJs who adopted my techniques and all the producers that adopted the techniques and where it’s going.

“It’s wonderful, and the great people at Twitch give me my freedom to play my deep collection. I can play stuff in the ’60s all the way up to now and nobody says anything.”

Widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of Hip-Hop, Grandmaster Flash revolutionized DJing in the 1970s by developing the Quick Mix Theory—an innovative method of extending breakbeats using two turntables. His groundbreaking work laid the foundation for modern Hip-Hop production and performance. In 2007, he and the Furious Five became the first Hip-Hop group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“For me, it’s 52 years, you know?” he said. “As far as technology is concerned, it’s absolutely wonderful. I get to play in the sandbox all over again with modern technology because I’m a geek. I’ve always loved gadgets.

The “Back2Back Raid Train” kicks off Monday (August 4) at 4 a.m. ET and runs until midnight on Grandmaster Flash’s Twitch channel.

Diddy’s Ex Gina Huynh AKA “Victim 3” Tells Judge He Is A “Changed Man”

Gina Huynh, the ex-girlfriend of Diddy, told a federal judge that the embattled Hip-Hop mogul is no longer the man he once was and pleaded for his release on a $50 million bond secured by his Miami estate.

In a letter submitted to the U.S. District Court, Huynh—identified in court documents as “Victim 3″—described Diddy as a devoted father and businessman, writing, “From that experience I have seen him primarily as a father, a family man and a businessman, roles that he has always striven to uphold.”

Diddy is currently awaiting sentencing in a high-profile case involving federal charges under the Mann Act.

His legal team is pushing for bail ahead of his October 3 court date, offering a substantial bond and proposing house arrest and travel restrictions. Prosecutors, however, remain firmly opposed, citing the severity of the charges and the risk of flight.

Huynh acknowledged the gravity of the allegations but urged the court to weigh Diddy’s family responsibilities.

“Our relationship, like many, was not always perfect, we experienced ups and downs, and mistakes were made,” she wrote. “But he was willing to acknowledge his mistakes and make better decisions in the future.”

She claimed that by the end of their relationship, Diddy had shifted his demeanor.

“By the time our relationship ended, he embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness that was markedly different from his past behavior.”

Huynh, who has previously accused Diddy of violent abuse—including a miscarriage she says resulted from one of his attacks—told the court she no longer views him as dangerous.

“I do not view Mr. Combs as a danger to me or to the community. This is his first criminal case. Throughout the investigation and proceedings he has been cooperative, respectful and compliant.”

She added that his release could help support his children and aid in the healing process.

“Allowing him to be at home will also support the healing process for all involved,” she said. “I respectfully ask that you consider these factors when deciding his eligibility for release.”

The judge has not yet ruled on Diddy’s renewed bail request. A decision is expected before his scheduled sentencing on October 3.

JAY-Z Rides Bike—Internet Can’t Believe It

Jay-Z riding solo on a bike through the Hamptons had the internet doing double takes and cracking jokes after a fan caught the whole thing on camera.

The clip shows Jay-Z pedaling down a quiet street with zero security in sight, which had folks online stunned that the richest guy in the history of Hip-Hop was out here movin’ like a regular dude.

No entourage, no black SUVs—just Hov, a bike and some sunshine as he pedaled through the leafy street, which had no sidewalks.

The video went viral after someone posted it online and social media ran wild with reactions. Some people were amused, others confused and a few were convinced there had to be security lurking nearby.

One person chimed in saying, “Welp of course they human beings they got life too Jay-Z can enjoy a bike ride in New York ain’t nothing wrong with that to be honest if people don’t harass him or tryna get pics w him.”

Another user added, “Trust me security is around somewhere.”

This whole thing went viral mostly because it’s rare to see someone like Jay-Z, who is worth over $2.5 billion, out and about without any obvious protection.

Typically, A-listers like him are flanked by bodyguards or rolling deep with a team. But here, he looked like any other guy enjoying a chill ride in the Hamptons, where he has a massive mansion.

He and Beyoncé have owned a gigantic spot in East Hampton since 2017. The place is called the “Pond House” and it’s no joke—12,000 square feet, seven beds, seven and a half baths and it sits on two acres right next to a 17-acre nature preserve.

Even billionaires need a little peace and quiet now and then and it looks like Jay found his moment to clear his head and get some cardio in.

Dallas Cowboy Drama Has Jerry Jones Evoking JAY-Z, Dez Bryant & Roc Nation

Jerry Jones Ignites Micah Parsons Trade Drama by Name-Dropping Jay-Z and Dez Bryant

WTHELLY? Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are back in the NFL spotlight for all the wrong reasons. This year’s training camp circus features a tense contract standoff with star linebacker Micah Parsons. You may have seen, he’s already trying to go to rival Eagles. He has submitted a formal trade request, but there is a wild twist that includes JAY-Z. The chatter includes Roc Nation Sports and former Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant. Sheeeeeeesh!

READ ALSO: EXCLUSIVE: Judge Shuts Down Jay-Z’s Attempt To Get Lawyer Fees From His Alleged “Son” – For Now

Jerry Jones is beyond old-school. Dude was photographed in 1957 among a crowd of white students trying to keep black students from integrating at an Arkansas high school. He’s that kind of old school. Apparently, he has a certain “hands-on negotiating style,” and Parsons is not with it. He wants agent David Mulugheta to rep him and does not want to talk directly to Jerry. The Cowboys owner has attempted to bypass Mulugheta entirely. He wants to force Parsons into direct talks. Sounds very much like a slave owner.

But, Jerry Jones is not a slave owner. But he gives those vibes and Black people were not slaves – they were enslaved. Instead of being accountable, he opted to shift blame, naming a 2015 situation involving Jay-Z and Dez Bryant.

“Because when we have a problem with the player, the agent is nowhere to be found,” Jones told reporters. “JAY-Z said that Dez would make all meetings. JAY-Z and I negotiated the contract, spent hours. He said, ‘Anybody in my organization is on time.’ He said, ‘My office used to be on the street corner, and I’ve always been early. So, they will be on time.’ And what did I say? I said, ‘I’m going to call you [when I have a problem].’ He quit taking my call.”

HUH?!

A Dallas legend, Dez Bryant, fired back like a Jalen Hurts spiral! He basically said he can open the book of life on Jerry if he wants to keep mentioning his name. He’s got plenty of untold stories and he’s kept quiet. “Hey, Dez…”

Roc Nation Sports followed up and skewered Jerry in the process. I get the impression that they do not like him.

“In 2015, at the 21 Club, on a napkin, Jerry Jones, Juan Perez, Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter and Stephen Jones negotiated a five-year, $70 million deal, which included a $45 million guarantee and a $20 million signing bonus for Dez Bryant,” Roc Nation stated. “The claim that Mr. Carter or Roc Nation representatives did not return a call from Jerry Jones is not only a false statement, but it’s also a comical one.”

Now, the Cowboys have ruffled the feathers of three beasts: Parsons, JAY-Z and the ever-boisterous Dez Bryant. All this offseason drama as we walk into the new season. Per usual: Jerry is the center of it all. Dallas and peace are as common as a Super Bowl parade.

Donald Trump Unloads On Racist Sleazebag Charlamagne Tha God

Donald Trump didn’t hold back when Charlamagne Tha God showed up on Lara Trump‘s Fox News show and trashed his presidency—he jumped on Truth Social and went scorched earth.

The ex-president fired off a 2:30 A.M. post on Sunday (August 3), calling Charlamagne a “racist sleazebag,” a “Low IQ individual,” and a “dope.”

Trump went off, writing, “Why is he allowed to use the word ‘GOD’ when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?”

And he didn’t stop there. Trump blasted, “This dope, Charlamagne, would vote for Sleepy Joe or Kamala?” Then added, “He has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done.”

So what set Trump off?

Charlamagne showed up on Lara’s show the night before and ripped Trump’s time in office. He said, “the least of us are still being impacted the worst” and “people are hurting.”

But there was more.

Charlamagne also said that Trump’s refusal to drop the Epstein files might push old-school conservatives to take back the GOP. He called it a possible “political coup” against MAGA leadership.

And when asked who he’d vote for, Charlamagne leaned toward Kamala Harris over Trump. That combo of criticism—bashing his record, questioning his base’s loyalty, and suggesting he’d pick Kamala—clearly hit a nerve and was enough to trigger Trump’s late-night post.

Trump watches a ton of TV—according to reports, sometimes as much as eight hours a day—and he probably caught every second of that interview.

And like clockwork, he jumped online to fire shots before the sun came up.

“South Park” Pulled From Streaming Service Following Savage Trump Episode

South Park took direct aim at Donald Trump in its Season 27 premiere on Comedy Central, and now the long-running animated series is making a major streaming move that’s turning heads.

The satirical juggernaut, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, will be pulled from HBO Max on Monday (August 4), shifting exclusively to Paramount+ as part of a $1.5 billion deal signed in July. That agreement gives Paramount+ full streaming rights to all 26 previous seasons, its feature-length specials and at least 50 new episodes over five upcoming seasons.

The Season 27 opener, “Sermon on the ‘Mount,” marked the show’s return after nearly two years and wasted no time jumping into controversy. The episode featured a nude deepfake version of Trump wandering a desert and lying in bed with Satan. It also included a faux public service announcement mocking the former president, who hasn’t appeared in the series since 1997.

The White House wasn’t amused. Assistant press secretary Taylor Rogers slammed the episode, saying South Park “hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

At San Diego Comic-Con the following day, Parker and Stone offered a dry apology. When asked if they expected the backlash, Parker said, “We’re terribly sorry,” prompting laughter from the crowd,

The episode also caught the attention of The Late Show host Stephen Colbert, who praised the creators for their boldness. “And I completely agree with this one,” Colbert said during his monologue. “Because if the government interfered with private AI, innovators at South Park wouldn’t be able to make important videos like this one. That is a message of hope.”

Colbert’s show was recently canceled by CBS, which, like Comedy Central, is owned by Paramount.

Since its 1997 debut, South Park has become one of the most influential animated shows in television history. Known for its crude humor and fearless satire, the series has earned multiple Emmy Awards and maintained a loyal audience for more than two decades. Its ability to stay culturally relevant—despite criticism—has helped it remain a staple in the streaming era.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump remains one of the most polarizing figures in American politics. His critics have long accused him of promoting misinformation, stoking division and undermining democratic institutions. The deepfake portrayal in South Park only added fuel to the fire among those who view him as a dangerous influence.e

Soulja Boy Arrested In Los Angeles During Late-Night Traffic Stop

Soulja Boy was arrested early Sunday (August 3) in Los Angeles after police allegedly discovered a firearm during a traffic stop in the Melrose area, according to NBC Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed officers pulled over a vehicle around 2:30 a.m. local time and noticed a gun inside. The 33-year-old rapper, born DeAndre Cortez Way, was a passenger in the car and was taken into custody on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Authorities did not disclose the reason for the initial stop.

Social media posts suggest the rapper had been celebrating his birthday at West Hollywood hotspot Poppy just hours before the arrest. His birthday was July 28.

The “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” artist, who rose to fame in 2007 with his viral dance anthem, has had multiple brushes with the law over the years. In April, a Los Angeles jury found him liable for sexual battery and assault, ordering him to pay $4 million to a woman who accused him of abusing her over a two-year period.

In 2023, Soulja Boy was also named in a Securities and Exchange Commission case involving the illegal promotion of crypto assets. He and singer Austin Mahone were the only two celebrities among those charged who declined to settle with the SEC by paying $400,000 in penalties, interest and disgorgement.

This isn’t his first run-in with weapons-related charges. In 2014, he was arrested in Los Angeles for carrying a loaded firearm, though the case was later dismissed. In 2019, he was sentenced to 240 days in jail for violating probation after police found ammunition at his home.

As of Sunday, no further details about his latest arrest have been released by LAPD.

Deion Sanders & Karrueche Tran Dating Rumors Cleared Up

Deion Sanders found himself at the center of renewed speculation after Claudia Jordan revealed that Tracey Edmonds once directly asked Karrueche Tran whether she was romantically involved with the former NFL star—well before the public saw signs of a possible relationship.

Speaking on the Accidentally Informed podcast, Jordan said Edmonds confronted Tran at a social gathering, believed to be hosted by actress Niecy Nash, after hearing whispers about a potential connection between Tran and Sanders.

“Tracey had heard the whispers,” Jordan said. “She saw Karrueche at the event and asked her straight out, ‘Are you dating Deion?’ And Karrueche just laughed and said no.”

Jordan, who described herself as a longtime friend of Edmonds, said the moment was direct but respectful. She also shared a photo during the podcast showing Edmonds and Tran smiling together at what appeared to be the same event. “They looked like friends,” she said. “Like they were really cool with each other. That’s what makes this new development interesting.”

A post shared by @COACHPRIME (@deionsanders)

The conversation resurfaced after footage recently circulated of Tran appearing in Sanders’ short documentary For Your Glory, released in late July. In the video, Tran is seen sitting beside Sanders during his recovery from bladder cancer, visibly emotional and supportive. Neither Sanders nor Tran has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship.

The documentary marked the first time Sanders publicly addressed his cancer diagnosis. In the film, he opened up about the physical and emotional toll of his health battle, which included multiple surgeries and hospital stays. Tran’s presence in the film—tearful and attentive—added fuel to speculation about their closeness.

Jordan’s comments have added a new wrinkle to Sanders’ already high-profile personal life. The former athlete and current Colorado Buffaloes head coach has been under constant media scrutiny, not just for his coaching but also for his recent breakup with Edmonds after a decade-long relationship.

While there’s still no confirmation of a romance between Sanders and Tran, Jordan’s account suggests the story has been quietly unfolding for some time—long before it reached the public eye.

EXCLUSIVE: Phora Files For Bankruptcy, Still Owes Warner Big Loot

Phora filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Los Angeles federal court while still owing hundreds of thousands to Warner Records, the label he left in 2019 after a brief major-label run.

The rapper submitted the petition on August 1 through his business entity, Phora LLC, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

The filing lists estimated assets and liabilities between $1 million and $10 million and notes 50 to 99 creditors. It also states that unsecured creditors are unlikely to receive payment once administrative costs are covered.

Among the most significant debts is a $200,000 contingent and unliquidated claim by Warner Records, signaling unresolved financial obligations from Phora’s time with the label.

Phora signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2017 after gaining traction with his independent project “With Love.” But after internal changes at the label, including a new CEO and staff, he chose to part ways in 2019.

He later said the split gave him complete creative control, noting that Warner discouraged the release of his song “Forgive Me.” After leaving, he dropped the track independently and described it as deeply personal.

Phora made the separation public by tearing up his Warner contract on Instagram. He returned to releasing music under his own label, Yours Truly, and launched a sold-out tour shortly after.

Another disputed claim of $400,000 from Oren Lang is also listed, making them the two biggest unsecured creditors in the case.

Phora signed the bankruptcy paperwork as the managing member of the LLC. He also filed a separate personal bankruptcy petition on the same day, according to court records.

Other notable creditors include Nixon Peabody LLP with a $77,689 claim, Lowe Law at $30,643, City National Bank with $25,016, and American Express at $9,164.

The remaining debts are owed to various production vendors, legal firms and service providers.

The filing includes a corporate resolution giving Phora the authority to pursue Chapter 11 protection and to hire legal counsel. Leonard Pena of Pena & Soma, APC, is representing the LLC in the case.

Chapter 11 will allow Phora to run his business and remain operational while reorganizing the debts under court supervision.

Rapper Who Threatened To Shoot Donald Trump Arrested—Again

Maine Musik, who once threatened to pop Donald Trump, got arrested again, in Baton Rouge, for more gun trouble, barely a year after finishing a six-year federal bid for the same kind of mess.

The Louisiana rapper, who was once in a group with Master P, got cuffed on July 31 for weapons charges. He’d only been out 11 months from his previous 75-month sentence after pleading guilty in 2019 for being a felon caught with a gun.

Back in 2016, cops hit him with gun and drug charges after a traffic stop. Then in 2018, he got snagged again when his car swerved near a guardrail at a checkpoint.

Officers said he was rambling with shaky hands and found a loaded piece stashed behind a loose panel in his ride. He admitted he was on probation for having codeine syrup at the time.

In 2016, Maine Musik was charged for his role in a robbery of Meaux Guns & Ammo in the city on July 6, 2015. In that case, he was busted after the Secret Service went to his house over a threat to Donald Trump that was posted on his Instagram account.

This led to investigators connecting him to the robbery, after they noticed the guns in his video for “Aint No Comin Down” matched some of the 50 guns that were reported stolen in a gun store robbery.

Maine’s known for putting on for Baton Rouge as a member of “The Luciano Family” featuring TEC, Ace B and Master P.

So far, authorities haven’t dropped the full details on this new arrest, but it’s looking like déjà vu for the rapper.

The Alchemist Delivers Brief But Promising Mobb Deep Album Update

Alchemist confirmed the long-awaited new Mobb Deep album is officially complete, revealing the news Saturday (August 2) with a brief but loaded tweet: “The next Mobb Deep album is done. Entirely produced by Havoc & The Alchemist.

The announcement marks a major moment for Hip-Hop loyalists, as it signals the return of one of the genre’s most influential duos. The late Prodigy and Havoc, known for their gritty lyricism and raw production, helped define East Coast rap in the ’90s. Alchemist, a longtime collaborator and producer for the group, has been closely tied to their sound since the early days.

While no release date has been shared, the tweet alone was enough to stir anticipation across the Hip-Hop community. Alchemist’s history with Mobb Deep includes production credits on several of their projects, including Murda Muzik, Infamy and Amerikaz Nightmare. His dark, sample-heavy style became a signature element of the group’s later work.

In addition to wrapping the Mobb Deep project, Alchemist has also been working with Erykah Badu on their upcoming joint album, Abi & AL. Their first single, “Next To You,” dropped last month and features a sample from Mobb Deep’s 1999 classic “The Realest,” further linking his current work to his legacy with the Queensbridge duo.

Mobb Deep’s catalog includes eight studio albums: Juvenile Hell (1993), The Infamous (1995), Hell on Earth (1996), Murda Muzik (1999), Infamy (2001), Amerikaz Nightmare (2004), Blood Money (2006) and The Infamous Mobb Deep (2014). Alchemist’s fingerprints are on many of those records.

Prodigy, born Albert Johnson, died in June 2017 at age 42 due to complications related to sickle cell anemia. His death left a void in the Hip-Hop world and cast uncertainty over the future of Mobb Deep. Havoc has since carried the torch, occasionally performing their classics and teasing unreleased material.

No further details about the album’s title or tracklist have been made public.

SIGNS: Donald Trump Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize

In the latest “WTF” news, convicted felon Donald Trump is now in the running for the Nobel Peace Prize after Cambodia credited him with helping to de-escalate a deadly border conflict with Thailand that left dozens dead and hundreds of thousands displaced.

Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister made the announcement Friday (August 1) in Phnom Penh, stating Trump deserved recognition for his direct involvement in halting the violence. “Give him the Nobel Peace Prize!,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt posted on X shortly after the ceasefire was confirmed.

The five-day conflict between Cambodia and Thailand erupted last week, with both sides blaming each other for initiating the violence. At least 43 people were killed and more than 300,000 residents were forced to flee their homes near the border.

According to Reuters, the fighting began to subside after Trump phoned Thai Acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai on July 26. A ceasefire agreement was reached in Malaysia two days later, ending the most severe military standoff between the two nations in more than 10 years.

Chanthol publicly thanked Trump for his role in brokering peace, saying his intervention was instrumental. “He deserves to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize,” Chanthol told reporters.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by AsiaOne (@asiaonecom)

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded annually to individuals or groups who have made significant efforts to promote peace and cooperation between nations. The ceremony takes place in Oslo, Norway on December 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death.

Cambodia’s nomination makes it the third country to put Trump forward for the prestigious award. In June, Pakistan said it would recommend Trump for his involvement in defusing tensions with India. Earlier this month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu submitted a formal nomination, citing Trump’s role in the 2020 Abraham Accords, which normalized diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab nations.

In his letter to the Nobel committee, Netanyahu wrote that Trump had “created new opportunities to expand the circle of peace and normalization” in the Middle East.

Trump has also supported Israel’s military operations in Gaza and approved a mission in June targeting Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities.

Cambodia’s decision to nominate Trump came hours after the U.S. reduced its proposed import tariff on Cambodian goods from 49 percent to 19 percent. The original tariff, announced during Trump’s “Liberation Day” speech at the White House on April 2, would have hit Cambodia harder than any other Southeast Asian country. The U.S. is Cambodia’s largest export market, with major American brands like Gap, Levi’s and Nike relying on the country’s factories for production.

Chanthol expressed gratitude for the lowered rate, which also applied to Thailand and Indonesia. Vietnam received a slightly higher 20 percent rate.

Despite the accolades, Trump remains a deeply polarizing figure on the world stage. His critics point to his inflammatory rhetoric, controversial policies and legal troubles as reasons he should not be considered for any international honor. Public opinion polls consistently show that Trump is one of the most disliked political figures in modern American history, with high unfavorable ratings across multiple demographics.

Cardi B’s WWE SummerSlam Surprise Makes Pregnancy Rumors Crazier

Remember my words…Cardi B is probably pregnant. I know you other media are reading this right now.

Cardi B hit the WWE SummerSlam stage Saturday night (August 2). She was a true in show-stopper. The fashion was on point, but she wasn’t doing any body slams. It was quite the opposite. But it was her body that was being looked upon and analyzed. I was looking for whether or not she’s expecting.

READ ALSO: Cardi B & Stefon Diggs Expecting? Rumor Mill Goes Half On Baby

She was dressed in a dramatic all-black outfit draped with oversized feathers and a sweeping train. She may have thought she was hiding it, but it made me focus more. Google keeps saying, there is no credible information indicating that Cardi B is pregnant.” A-YO! Put some respect on my name. By now, social media is lit up. I noticed how carefully the cameras framed her. Every angle stayed high, deliberately avoiding her midsection. Just neck-up glam. She looked great and was entertaining. But…there’s a big but.

There’s a reason for all that camera trickery. While no official statement has been made, fans and critics alike are betting big that the Bronx-bred rapper is indeed pregnant. Again, this is not new information really, but remember where you heard it first.

My early rumors hinted that Cardi and her team might delay her highly anticipated album rollout due to the possible baby news. But instead of slowing down, it looks like the rumors are going full throttle. SummerSlam is one of the WWE’s biggest stages, and Cardi used it as a major spotlight for her upcoming single.

Despite the buzz, visuals of her performance aren’t out there like that. She barely performed. She just played the song and lip synched the vocals. She didn’t name the song either, so we don’t even know the title yet. For now, I am calling it “Hello” until corrected. One thing is clear—the rollout is not stopping. It’s moving fast. Am I The Drama? is a philosophical question more than an album title at this point.

Because pregnant or not, people are watching and waiting.

Gillie Labels Johnny Manziel Drug Addict-Alcoholic As Cam Newton Beef Explodes

Johnny Manziel threatening to smack Gillie Da King isn’t going over well with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast co-host, who labeled the former NFL quarterback a coke head who needs to check into Alcoholics Anonymous.

“Come on, Johnny. Out of all the m############ you could f### with, Johnny, what the f### would make you stop at me, man? Huh? I know what it was. I know exactly what it was. It ain’t no secret,” Gillie Da King said, with white powder all over his face, in a nod to cocaine.

It all started up after Cam Newton decided to leave Jalen Hurts off his top 10 quarterback list, which Gillie—who reps Philly hard—took real personal.

Gillie was feeling it at his birthday party, where clowned Cam while waving around a fake Super Bowl trophy and roasting him for never winning the big one.

That’s when Manziel lost it.

The former Heisman winner came out swinging on social media, calling Gillie “the biggest f###### loser on the planet.” But he didn’t stop there. Manziel warned Gillie, “If I see you, just know I’m going to slap the f### out of you, trust.”

Gillie fired back at Manziel, letting him know that if he raised his hand to the Philly rapper, he would end up in the hospital.

“It ain’t 1917 no more, Johnny. This is 2025, n##### fight back, Johnny. The f### make you think you just gonna slap a n#### and do what, just gonna walk off about your business?

“Now, let me tell you something, Johnny. I need you to check into AA, Alcohol Anonymous, and I need you to check the f### out of AAB. African-American business, Johnny,” Gillie fumed.

Lil Tay Turns 18—Heads Straight To OnlyFans

Lil Tay is trending again after the internet’s infamous chaos magnet told her 2.3 million TikTok followers she’s diving headfirst into adult content—right after her 18th birthday.

The viral teen, who’s been in and out of controversy for years, claimed she’s already got spicy content lined up and ready to go.

“The night of my 18th birthday, one minute passed midnight, I got to work,” she said. “I filmed all the content and it’s finally coming out tomorrow. This is for everybody that has preordered since, like, 2023. It’s coming. It’s finally here. Everybody that’s preordered.”

She’s clearly gunning for the same kind of bag Bhad Bhabie pulled in, who reportedly raked in up to $75 million since launching her OnlyFans right after turning 18.

She made $1 million in her first six hours and over $4 million in one day. Tay’s clearly aiming for that same energy—and money.

According to Lil Tay, she’s already been hit up by industry talent agencies offering her fat checks to partner up.

“A whole lot of agencies have hit me up even before my birthday, because they were like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s gonna drop the link,'” she said. “She’s gonna make a bag. They’re like, ‘We’ll give you 30 to 40 Ms to sign with us and drop the link with us.’ I’m like, why would I need you, though? I am the bag.”

When someone asked if she thought this move might mess up her life, she didn’t flinch.

“I don’t think 50 mil is gonna ruin my life,” she said. The livestream didn’t fly with her brother, though, who jumped in and shut it down real fast.

“No, get the f### off live_…_ This is a Chinese household. You’re not f###### dropping no f###### links,” he said in the viral meltdown.

The internet, of course, exploded. Some people called it fake or a skit, and others weren’t buying the act, but still admitted she could probably cash out.

Whether she actually drops the link or this is another clout-chase moment, Lil Tay knows how to keep her name in the mix—and she’s clearly watching Bhad Bhabie’s playbook.

Cardi B & Stefon Diggs Expecting? Rumor Mill Goes Half On Baby

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs might be expecting a whole new bundle of noise. But this isn’t album or the roar of the Buffalo Bills fans. Oh yeah, you now what it is.

According to several whispers in very reliable ears, the rap superstar is reportedly pregnant. And it’s allegedly Diggs who’s the alleged soon-to-be dad. This relationship has already stirred up drama. Just ask Offset, but now it all may just get louder.

This baby rumor isn’t brand new, but it’s heating up again. It feels true. My sources are saying there was serious deliberation behind the scenes about whether Cardi was even going to go through with the pregnancy. I heard they weren’t in agreement on how to proceed.

From what I’m hearing, Stefon was not on board initially. One source told me, “There was an understanding that it wouldn’t happen… but she went ahead anyway.” Whoa. I cannot believe she can hide a pregnancy from her man.

Now, here’s where things start adding up. Cardi’s second album has been moving at a snail’s pace. No massive official rollout, modest press run and barely a whisper on music blogs. This is Cardi B we’re talking about, so why so quiet, B?

Word is that the baby and the album might be arriving around the same time. That means everything from tour plans to video shoots to promo might be on pause. Or delayed. Imagine trying to drop a highly anticipated sophomore album while dealing with morning sickness!?

I don’t know, folks. I;m just relaying what I have been told. I do know that I really want to hear what Cardi has for us on another album. And let’s not even get into the Offset of it all! I am hearing he’s likely to go ballistic over this. She may need to get another restraining order. At some point, somebody is going to have something slick to say.

So many questions. Buckle up. This might be Cardi B’s realest rollout yet.

Stay tuned.

Muhammad Ali’s Last Living Immediate Family Member Has Died

Rahaman Ali, the younger sibling of boxing icon Muhammad Ali, died Friday (August 1) in Louisville at age 82, following hospice care at Norton Audubon Hospital, according to the Muhammad Ali Center.

Ali, born Rudolph “Rudy” Clay before converting to Islam, was known not only for his own boxing career from 1964 to 1972 but also for his quiet, consistent presence in the Louisville community. He was a fixture at the King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church, where he and his wife regularly volunteered with the Jesus Movement, helping distribute food and clothing to those in need.

“Whenever we do an event, they are always there. We have a food and clothes closet and he made sure that the participants had enough food to go out the door. He and his wife would always be the last one to leave,” said Wanda McIntyre, director of the Jesus Movement. “We already miss the presence when we have our prayer breakfast.”

Ali was admitted to the hospital on July 19 and remained under hospice care until his death. His family, deeply rooted in the California neighborhood of Louisville, remained closely involved with the church throughout his final days.

Ray Barker, known locally as “Sir Friendly C,” emphasized Rahaman’s behind-the-scenes influence. “Knowing your role in the community is so important. Some of us like to be out in front, some of us like to be quietly behind and he was that latter one,” Barker said. “He liked to be behind, but he always showed up to lend his hand and lend his famous name to encourage the youth. He was like a quiet thunder.”

The Muhammad Ali Center released a statement highlighting Rahaman’s lifelong support of his brother. “You can’t tell Muhammad’s story without mentioning Rahaman,” said DeVone Holt, the center’s president and CEO. “He was one of the most constant sources of support for Muhammad during this (sic) career and their relationship was a true example of what it means to be ‘my brother’s keeper.’”

Hana Ali, Muhammad Ali’s daughter, shared a heartfelt tribute to her uncle on Instagram. “My Uncle Rahaman, lovingly known as Rock, was a sweet, gentle soul with a heart as big as the world,” she wrote. “He had that same sparkle in his eye that my father had… that same light, that same mischief, that same love.”

Lorenzo Tucker III, whose mother was among Rahaman’s closest friends, said the bond between their families was strong. “My mother was his best friend so as soon as they put him into hospice, he called for her to come down. They have always been close with the family,” Tucker said. “We speak to them every day because that’s how closeknit everyone is.”

McIntyre added that Rahaman’s uplifting spirit left a lasting impression. “He was a great encourager like his brother was. I think his encouragement, his smile, his uplifting the people was great and the support that he gave Jesus Movement, he and his wife, meant so much to us,” she said. “He encourages the young men to know that everything is good, everything is positive and it’s all what he said it would be.”

Rahaman Ali was born July 18, 1943.

Hitman Howie Tee, Pioneering Hip-Hop Producer Behind Special Ed & Chubb Rock, Dies

Brooklyn’s own Hitman Howie Tee helped define the sound of late ’80s and early ’90s Hip-Hop, has died. The cause of death has not been revealed at the time of this writing.

Born Howard Thompson in London, he was raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Howie Tee was 61.

Questlove of The Roots sang Howie Tee’s praises.

“I feel like Howie was such an unsung MONSTER of a producer during hip hip’s early development——I know De La was a life changing moment for us but Howie was a cat who definitely crossed the aisle when it came to unusual music: I mean for Special Ed he put The Beatles & Ripple in the same box I was mind blown. Not to mention all those little cartoon & showtunes interstitials on “Bang Zoom” & “Buggin”

Mixing in tv themes & Mel Blanc & showtunes showing Pop ear candy over the hardest beats.

Truly an unsung hero.”

Hitman Howie Tee made his mark as one of Hip-Hop’s most versatile, influential and low-key sonic architects. He was a master of beats and a king of turntablism.

Furthermore, Howie Tee crafted hits that helped launch the careers of artists like Special Ed, Chubb Rock, The Real Roxanne, and U.T.F.O. He shaped a generation of Hip-Hop fans, artists and producers.

In the early 1980s, Howie Tee emerged as a member of electro-rap group CDIII, which dropped a pair of singles on Prelude Records. He soon shifted gears to another bubbling rap act out of BK.

A production partnership with U.T.F.O.’s Kangol Kid pushed him into true prominence. Together, they introduced the world to Whistle, a trio whose 1985 single “(Nothing Serious) Just Buggin’” became a global b-boy anthem.

Soon thereafter, Howie Tee became the in-house producer at Select Records. It was there that he created his most recognizable songs – Special Ed’s breakout single “I Got It Made” and Chubb Rock’s dance hit “Treat ‘Em Right.”

Both tracks climbed the charts and proved Howie Tee could balance the streets with commercial appeal.

By 1991, Howie Tee struck platinum pop success. He co-produced the Billboard Hot 100-topping “I Wanna Sex You Up” by Color Me Badd.

The record’s style helped set the tone for early ’90s R&B / Hip-Hop fusion. He would later produce or remix tracks for artists like Madonna, Heavy D, M### Priest and Little Shawn, among others.

Howie Tee also served as a mentor, helping shape the next wave of Hip-Hop creators. Most notably, he guided a young Spencer Bellamy, who later found cult fame under the moniker East Flatbush Project with the underground smash “Tried by 12.”

Though often overlooked by mainstream media, Howie Tee’s fingerprints are all over the golden age of Hip-Hop. His sample-driven, funk-rooted beats were the backdrop to some of the culture’s most formative records.

At the time of publication, details surrounding his death have not been publicly disclosed.
