Pete Rock Graciously Accepts Grammy Defeat After Common Collab Loses To Doechii

Ask any artist and they’ll say simply being nominated for a Grammy Award is a prestigious honor not to be taken for granted. Pete Rock, who was up for a Best Rap Album trophy for his collaboration with Common The Auditorium Vol. 1 and Best Rap Performance for “When the Sun Shines Again” featuring Posdnuos, knows this all too well.

On Sunday (February 2), the award was handed out to Doechii for her work on Alligator Bites Never Heal, her major label mixtape debut (Capitol Records), at the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Rock handled the loss well and took to Instagram to express his gratitude for being nominated in the same category as Eminem, Future x Metro Boomin, J Cole and, of course, Doechii.

“WE LOVE THE CULTURE!” he wrote. “WE GON KEEP IT PUSHIN S/O TO THE WINNERS TONIGHT @doechii & @kendricklamar on doing such a great job. Auditorium Vol.2 will be a fun challenge for me cuz its all about being better than you were yesterday! We got this king @common Dont even worry bout it. Salute to the @recordingacademy for the recognition.”

The accompanying graphic read: “Listen, 2 grammy noms is better than none. We represented the culture the proper way and got nominated twice. Only tells us the world is feeling Auditorium Vol. 1. Thank you to all who voted for us.”

Pete Rock, one of the most celebrated Hip-Hop producers in the genre’s history, isn’t letting his foot off the gas. As the title of The Auditorium implies, there’s another installment on the way. On Monday (February 3), Rock shared the cover art for and wrote, “Vol 2 will be interesting,” although he didn’t provide any further details.

Pete Rock first rose to prominence in the early 1990s as part of the duo Pete Rock & CL Smooth. Known for their classic album Mecca and the Soul Brother (1992), the duo is responsible for the single “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.),” which is widely regarded as one of the greatest Hip-Hop songs of all time.

Rock had a hand in pioneering jazz-infused Hip-Hop production, using soulful samples and smooth beats, and collaborated with legendary artists like Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., Public Enemy and JAY-Z. Solo projects include Soul Survivor (1998) and Petestrumentals (2001). His production style heavily influenced the sound of ’90s Hip-Hop and continues to shape modern beats. His signature technique of chopping and layering samples helped define the golden era of boom-bap Hip-Hop.

Drake Dons Bullet Hole-Ridden Hoodie On Tour Opening Night: “Still Alive”

Drake launched his Anita Max Win Tour with a bold statement, sporting a black hoodie ridden with fake bullet holes while smoke dramatically billowed from his back—seemingly addressing his survival after the Kendrick Lamar battle.

The OVO founder launched his tour of Australia and New Zealand at Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday (February 4).

He made a spectacular entrance to the concert, emerging into the packed venue through a haze of smoke and flashing lights.

Adding to the drama, Drake’s Take Care cut “Over My Dead Body,” blasted from the speakers as he descended.

Drake’s concert comes hot on the heels of Kendrick Lamar’s Grammys sweep on Sunday night. “Not Like Us” scooped five awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year—leaving many fans to speculate that it’s the final blow to Drake’s reign, with some even claiming there’s no bouncing back.

Drake appeared to address the chatter and the Kendrick Lamar feud before closing his Perth show.

“My name is Drake; I started doing music in 2008,” he told the crowd. “I come all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and no matter what, Drizzy Drake is very much still alive.”

He also took to Instagram after the show, sharing a few cryptic lines that seemed to hint at his reaction to the fallout from the battle.

“They thought einstein was lying & shakespeare was barely rhyming & edison wasn’t lit despite what he was designing,” he wrote. “So how can I give af what they say about my stars aligning.”

Diddy Accused Of Assaulting Male Rapper During Wild “Freak Off” Inside LA Nightclub

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing fresh allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting a 23-year-old aspiring rapper during a wild orgy.

A new lawsuit filed Monday (February 3) accuses Diddy of luring the young man with tantalizing promises of a record deal and studio time before allegedly assaulting him after an event in Los Angeles.

The plaintiff, identified as John Doe, alleges that the ordeal began at QC’s 20/20, a Southeast Los Angeles venue where Combs and his entourage reportedly hosted an exclusive after-party.

Doe claims he was told by an associate of Diddy’s that the music tycoon had taken an interest in his talent and would potentially offer him a contract through his iconic label, Bad Boy Records if his performance impressed.

Brimming with excitement, Doe performed his set and believed he had secured the opportunity of a lifetime.

Following his performance, Doe says he was ushered into a VIP breakout room in the back of the club, where he was handed a Ciroc Vodka-based cocktail, allegedly sent by Diddy.

Soon after consuming the drink, the lawsuit recounts, Doe felt disoriented, slipping in and out of consciousness. As his condition worsened, he says he realized he had been drugged.

According to the complaint, when Doe regained partial consciousness, he observed Diddy and numerous other individuals, including some unnamed celebrities, engaging in sexual activity with people who appeared to be unconscious, drugged, or possibly paid escorts.

Shock turned to fear as Doe claims he found himself the target of Diddy’s unwanted sexual advances. Wearing only partially removed clothing, he allegedly awoke to find Diddy groping him after what he believes was oral sex performed on him without consent.

The lawsuit contends that when Doe attempted to resist, Diddy’s security team physically intervened to subdue him.

Doe alleges that Diddy threatened his budding music career, saying he could call his manager and ensure he’d never succeed in the music industry if he didn’t comply with his demands.

Outnumbered and fearing for his safety, Doe says he pretended to cooperate before using a ploy to escape. He told Diddy and his team he needed water and a restroom break, which allowed him to slip out of the venue and flee in his car.

This latest lawsuit further deepens the crisis surrounding Combs, who is currently jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

These civil allegations bear echoes of previous accusations leveled against the music mogul and paint another grim portrait of Diddy’s alleged modus operandi.

Over 100 lawsuits have been filed against Diddy, portraying a man who, for decades, used his sprawling business empire encompassing record labels, nightclubs and entertainment ventures as a front for predatory behavior.

The lawsuit details a disturbing pattern of coercion, intoxication of victims with substances such as GHB and Rohypnol, and a calculated abuse of the allure of fame and fortune.

Tony Buzbee, who represents John Doe, is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, accusing Diddy of leveraging his industry stature to entrap and exploit vulnerable individuals.

Did Jim Jones & Juelz Santana Go MAGA?

Jim Jones and Juelz Santana are back in the mix, and this time, they’re throwing subliminals with a twist. The ongoing tension between Jim and Cam’ron doesn’t seem to be fading, and this new development only adds fuel to the fire.

Over the weekend, Jim enlisted Juelz to appear in a video that immediately had fans clutching their pearls. At first glance, it looked like they were rocking MAGA hats. The internet, as expected, went into an uproar, with people accusing them of being “diabolical traitors.”

But hold on, folks—plot twist. Upon closer inspection, the hats didn’t say “Make America Great Again.” Instead, they read “Make Dipset Great Again.” Ah, now that’s a statement to unpack.

Dipset was already great, in my opinion. The Harlem crew revolutionized Hip-Hop fashion, slang, and style in ways that are still felt today. However, the very guys who helped build the iconic brand apparently feel like something is missing. Cam’ron, the Dipset frontman, has been leaning more into his media bag alongside former rival-turned-co-host Mase on “It Is What It Is.” The sports talk show has been wildly successful, raking in big numbers (and money!) It seems like Jim and Juelz feel Dipset’s music legacy is what really needs to be brought to the front.

Is Cam even interested in this Dipset revival? I think the Verzuz killed all that. From the looks of it, he’s thriving in his new lane. Plus, let’s not forget that he and Jim have had on-again, off-again issues for years. Cam hasn’t exactly been enthusiastic about rekindling the rap group. I also think he blames Jim for the Verzuz debacle.

This latest stunt could be a strategic chess move from Jim to pull Cam into some mess. Will Cam’ron take the bait? Will he dust off the pink fur and step back in the booth? Or will he just laugh it off on his show and keep it pushing? Either way, Dipset drama never gets old. Stay tuned.

Killer Mike Fights Back: Grammy Clash Results In Lawsuit

Atlanta rapper/activist Killer Mike is making headlines again over the Grammys, but this time not for his music.

The artist is suing two private security firms after his arrest at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where he was detained over what he says was an unjustified and overly aggressive encounter.

According to legal documents, Killer Mike was stopped and ultimately arrested while attempting to access the red carpet area during the ceremony.

The incident occurred despite the heightened celebration surrounding his three-award sweep at the previous year’s Grammy Awards.

Security guards from S&S, Labor Force Inc., and JRM Private Security allegedly detained Mike and called the Los Angeles Police Department, leading to the rapper’s arrest on a charge of misdemeanor battery.

In his lawsuit, Mike claims the security companies were operating beyond their legal authority.

“There was some confusion around which door my team and I should enter,” Mike explained after the incident. “We experienced an overzealous security guard.”

The altercation escalated when guards reportedly grabbed Mike’s arm to prevent him from leaving the area. The legal complaint further alleges false arrest, assault, and battery against the rapper, stating that the guards had “no reason” to suspect him of any criminal wrongdoing.

It highlights that the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office ultimately declined to charge Mike, affirming he had committed no criminal act.

Released from police custody just hours after being detained, Mike didn’t let the experience pass without reflection.

Last July, the rapper dropped a personal track titled “Humble Me,” which includes a verse referencing his arrest.

Though the lawsuit is making its way through the courts, Mike’s team maintains that the incident was entirely avoidable and unnecessary.

The legal filings insist that S&S, Labor Force Inc., and JRM Private Security played a pivotal role in escalating what should have been a minor miscommunication into a major inconvenience for one of Hip-Hop’s prominent voices.

The 2024 Grammy Awards sought to honor artistic achievement, yet the arrest of an artist lauded the year prior has drawn attention for all the wrong reasons.

For now, Killer Mike is using the legal system to address what he considers a blow to not just his dignity but also the standards expected at such a storied event.

50 Cent Drags Lil Baby Into Big Meech Feud: “WTF He Owe You?”

50 Cent is continuing to taunt Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, dragging Lil Baby into the fray after previously calling the co-founder of the infamous Black Mafia Family (BMF) a rat.

On Tuesday morning (February 4), the G-unit boss hopped on Instagram reposting a video from a content creator who goes by Zipwitthedrip, claiming Lil Baby and others canceled performances at Big Meech’s upcoming star-studded “Welcome Back” Concert later this month.

According to the post, Lil Baby axed his appearance at the bash after 50 Cent implied Big Meech was a “rat” and cooperated with the authorities at some point during his case.

50 Cent then added his own rumor about the Atlanta rapper in the caption.

“The funny s### is they was saying @lilbaby pulled up on them in a Ferrari truck pockets full of money, and didn’t give them nothing,” he wrote.

50 Cent added, “Lil Baby was 5 when you got indicted WTF he owe you?” before teasing his explosive BMF documentary.

“Tammy Cowin coming soon !” he added

50 Cent Taunts “Rat” Big Meech

50 Cent made his “rat” claims about Big Meech after the former Detroit crime family boss joined forces with Rick Ross—a long-standing nemesis of the “Many Men” hitmaker.

Rozay is set to host Big Meech’s “Welcome Back” bash in Sunrise, Florida, on February 13. Ross is also slated to perform his massive hit “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” with Big Meech for the first time.

50 Cent didn’t take the news well, hinting at a “tell-all documentary” that could reveal damaging information about Big Meech.

Kanye West Brags About Millions Seeing Wife Naked—Sparks Backlash

Kanye West put a fan on blast after they challenged the controversial rapper for boasting about millions of people rushing to see his naked wife.

West and his wife sparked backlash after Bianca Censori disrobed on the Grammys red carpet to reveal a sheer dress that left nothing to the imagination. Her barely-there outfit raised eyebrows and caused a stir online, with many arguing the dress was far too revealing.

Clips of the big reveal quickly circulated online, and the couple began trending as headlines focused on the risqué outfit. While much of the attention was negative, with social media users criticizing both West and Censori, Ye expressed pride in the spotlight his wife garnered.

Early on Tuesday morning (February 4), West took to his Instagram Story to share search traffic data from Grammys night, revealing that “Bianca Censori Grammys” amassed five million impressions—matching the search volume of “Grammy winners 2025.”

According to Ye, Censori generated more buzz than Kendrick Lamar, despite his sweeping wins, and even outshined Beyoncé, who finally secured her first Album of the Year Grammy.

He posted another screenshot on his feed, highlighting that searches for “Bianca Censori Grammys” outpaced those for the actual award winners.

Kanye West Fans React

Fans flooded the comments with criticism, leaving comments like, “You’re using your wife’s body to get relevant? That’s sad,” and asking, “is she a social experiment to you?”

However, Kanye honed in on one user who replied, “It’s an easy win when a man puts a naked woman on screen.”

Ye reposted the comment on Instagram and tagged her account.

“This is my favorite part,” he wrote. “Watch these comments get shut off quick.”

He then shared a screenshot of the user’s Instagram profile, adding, “Now watch this.”

Kanye West stans flocked to the user’s account, bashing them in the comments.

Meanwhile, West continued to bash his critic, whose bio states they are a photographer and art director. He shared a post from the creative’s page featuring models posing in underwear and another featuring a woman nude save for a pair of red shoes.

“Oh nothing sexual here…. But wait for it,” he wrote. “Now waaaaaaidaminute.”

After taunting the photographer, Kanye West continued bragging about his wife’s popularity.

“FEBRUARY 4TH 2025,” he announced. “MY WIFE IS THE MOST GOOGLED PERSON ON THE PLANET CALLED EARTH.”

Ye’s antics followed the launch of his Yeezy womenswear collection. He shared a video of Censori modelling the line’s first piece, a sheer thong bodysuit.

T.I. & Tiny Harris Score $53M Victory As Judge Reinstates OMG Girlz Lawsuit Award

T.I., Tiny Harris and the OMG Girlz are celebrating after a California federal judge reportedly reinstated the $53.6 million in punitive damages originally awarded in their copyright infringement lawsuit against O.M.G. Doll’s toy company MGA.

A jury previously awarded the entertainers a staggering $71 million in compensatory damages after winning their long-standing legal battle with the toy giant. The couple celebrated the victory as a win “for the culture,” but a later ruling reduced the award amount, potentially to $17 million

However, according to Tiny, the judge changed their mind and rescinded the ruling. The singer took to Instagram on Monday (February 3) with a filing from U.S. District Court Judge James V. Selna, upholding the original $53.6 million in punitive damages alongside $17.9 million in compensatory damages.

“Upon consideration of the evidence,” the filing read, “the Courts grants disgorgement of profits of $17,872,252 under common law misappropriation, and affirms the jury’s award of punitive damages of $53,616,759.”

“Don’t play with God’s children!” Tiny wrote on the post. “So thankful & grateful to our amazing law team.”

T.I. and Tiny won the OMG Girlz lawsuit back in September 2024, although the case lasted several years, with the initial complaint filed in 2020.

Tiny formed the OMG Girlz group that included her daughter Zonnique Pullins in 2009. T.I. and Tiny alleged that MGA’s L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. dolls violated the intellectual property rights of their teen girl group OMG Girlz.

A jury ruled that 15 of the dolls infringed on the group’s trade dress, name, image or likeness. The couple was awarded $17.9 million in compensatory damages and $53.6 million in punitive damages.

This was the third trial in the case, with previous trials resulting in a mistrial and a win for MGA that was later overturned. MGA Entertainment denied the allegations and called the lawsuit a “money grab.”

Kanye West Fans In Uproar Over New Yeezy Bodysuit After Bianca Censori Drama

Kanye West is facing backlash online after launching his new Yeezy women’s collection with a sheer thong bodysuit—just a day after his wife, Bianca Censori, sparked controversy by arriving at the Grammys nearly nude.

On Monday evening (February 3), the outspoken artist took to Instagram to announce that his Yeezy womenswear collection was officially on sale, following last month’s teaser

He confirmed the launch with a photo, seemingly of Censori wearing the revealing item, the same bodysuit she wore to a Grammys afterparty.

“First women’s piece,” West captioned the post.

However, fans had plenty to say about the garment and flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts.

While some praised the bodysuit—like one man who claimed he “I just bought 5 of them”—the majority of responses referenced Censori’s history of wearing salacious outfits, accusing the rapper of parading his wife around naked.

“If she showed up alone to protest the censorship of the female body I would say ok werkkkk,” one person shared. “But it felt more like a Stockholm syndrome prisoner doing what they were told to do.”

Another demanded, “Please stop showing your wife naked or barely any clothes,” while a third insisted, “We do NOT wanna see your naked wife no more ye.”

Kanye West Praises Bianca Censori’s Outfit

Kanye West stood beside Bianca Censori on the Grammys red carpet as she dramatically shed her fur coat, unveiling a barely-there ensemble. She donned a sheer, form-fitting mesh dress that left nothing to the imagination.

Unsurprisingly, West saw nothing wrong with Censori’s outfit choice. He shared a post on Instagram praising her dress, although he quickly deleted it.

“Custom Couture Grammy dress for the most beautiful ever,” he wrote. “My love, my best friend and my wife.”

Censori’s x-rated outfit, combined with the couple’s swift exit from the ceremony, fueled speculation that security had “quickly escorted” her and West out of the venue. However, a rep for West debunked the rumours, claiming he left because the Grammys were “so dull and boring.”

Don Lemon Shuts Down Kanye West’s Grammys Controversy Claims

Don Lemon is firing back at Kanye West’s accusations following the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 2).

Speculation that West was booted out of the ceremony because of his wife Bianca Censori’s revealing outfit sparked an angry response. West believed Lemon started the rumor and blasted the veteran journalist as a “koon.”

However, on Monday (February 3) Lemon responded in a video shared on Instagram.

“First of all, Kanye, Yee, Ye, whatever your name is — I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys,” he said. “I actually corrected it. I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere. So, first of all, get your s### straight.”

He laughed before continuing and referenced West’s MAGA ties and support for Donald Trump in 2018.

“And you, of all people, calling me a coon?” he added. “Negro, that ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”

Earlier on Monday, Kanye West slammed Don Lemon on social media.

“This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies,” he wrote. “3 decades of innovating music and they always KOONS like this.”

Nonetheless, while Lemon initially reported hearing that Ye wasn’t invited to the Grammys and was “escorted out,” he later confirmed the rumor was untrue.

Lemon shared a video claiming a rep for Ye confirmed: “Kanye was indeed invited and he was not kicked out.”

EXCLUSIVE: Nick Cannon Accused Of Helping Zeus Steal “Wild-N-Out” To Make Ripoff – Viacom Sues

Nick Cannon has found himself at the center of a legal showdown after Viacom International Inc. filed a lawsuit claiming the actor and television host helped Zeus Network rip off his long-running MTV series, Wild’ N Out.

According to the suit, Zeus’s Bad vs. Wild is not just an imitation but a full-scale reproduction of the hit Hip-Hop improvisational comedy show, complete with the same set design, format, and even the host himself.

Viacom accuses Zeus of blatantly swiping its intellectual property.

“Zeus intentionally copied elements of Wild’ N Out in developing Bad vs. Wild, knowing that those acts constituted infringements of Viacom’s copyrights,” said George W. Kroup, an attorney representing Viacom.

“Zeus’s collaboration with Mr. Cannon—the longtime host and face of “Wild ‘N Out—in developing Bad vs. Wild further cements the conclusion that Bad vs. Wild intentionally ripped off Wild ‘N Out to profit off its creative elements, without having to do the work of creating original content itself. “

The suit claims that Bad vs. Wild adopted Wild’ N Out’s signature features, including two rival teams, live audience participation, celebrity guest appearances, DJ-integrated scoring, and championship prizes—elements Viacom alleges are unmistakable trademarks of its brand.

Adding to the controversy is Nick Cannon and his involvement.

The lawsuit claims his role as the host of Bad vs. Wild directly violates his contract with Viacom, which prohibits him from engaging in projects that compete with or imitate Wild’ N Out.

“Zeus has caused Mr. Cannon to violate his written agreement related to Wild’ N Out,” said Kroup, emphasizing what Viacom describes as intentional interference by Zeus Network in its contractual relationship.

Viacom alleges that Zeus compounded the damage by marketing the new show as a high-octane version of Wild’ N Out, reportedly tagging it as “Wild ‘N Out on steroids” in promotional materials.

Further, the network accuses Bad vs. Wild of tarnishing the reputation of Wild’ N Out by featuring content the lawsuit calls harmful and offensive, like racial and gender stereotyping, explicit imagery, and glorification of violence—elements far removed from the original show’s “good-natured humor,” according to Kroup.

“The damage caused by Zeus’s interference with Mr. Cannon’s contract is magnified by the wave of negative publicity which emanated from Zeus’s unoriginal content and colorist and sizeist stereotyping,” Kroup added referencing the show’s controversial “Lightskin vs. Darkskin’ episode.

In addition to Cannon, the lawsuit also names several former Wild ‘N Out cast members and crew who now work with Zeus on the competing series.

Viacom claims this collaboration blurs the line between the two shows, creating confusion for viewers who may believe the productions are officially affiliated.

The lawsuit seeks a permanent injunction to halt Bad vs. Wild’s production and distribution and financial damages, including treble damages for willful infringement.

Viacom is also asking for Zeus to hand over profits made from Bad vs. Wild and reimburse all legal fees.

Zeus Network has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.

50 Cent Attacks “Rat” Big Meech, While Promising Tammy Cowins Tell All – Here’s Why Its Explosive

50 Cent reignited drama in the Hip-Hop world by taking to Instagram and posting an image of a rat, a direct swipe at Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory.

The incendiary post came just days after Big Meech, the co-founder of the infamous Black Mafia Family (BMF), was spotted rubbing shoulders with Rick Ross—a long-standing nemesis of 50.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Rick Ross (@richforever)

The bad blood between 50 Cent and Rick Ross runs deep, stretching back to 2009 when the two clashed publicly over diss tracks, leaked personal details, and a series of legal skirmishes.

Their dispute hit new peaks when 50 Cent released a scathing track mocking Ross’s past as a correctional officer and followed it up by publicizing an alleged sex tape of Ross’s ex-partner.

The strained relationship between 50 Cent and Big Meech hit center stage after the latter shared an image standing beside Rick Ross.

Ross, whom 50 has feuded with for over a decade, is hosting Big Meech’s welcome home concert in Sunrise, Florida, on February 13, where he will perform his massive hit “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” with Big Meech for the first time.

It’s definitely going to be an epic moment – but 50 Cent is furious. The reaction from the G-Unit powerhouse was anything but subtle.

The image of the rat had the words, “I think I’m Big Meech.” The caption read: “The biggest mistake he ever made was not sustaining his relationship with (Tammy Cowins) her tell all Docu reveals the truth”

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by 50 Cent (@50cent)

What sets this saga apart is the potential role of Cowins, a producer on 50 Cent’s “BMF” TV series about Big Meech and his brother Southwest T and their personal and professional narratives.

Cowins played a pivotal role in securing the rights to Meech’s story, which 50 Cent later transformed into a hit series.

Yet Tammy’s own backstory has raised eyebrows.

Reports suggest that Cowins, once closely connected to Meech, acted as a federal informant for the DEA in 2009, supplying authorities with sensitive information.

50 Cent has deftly incorporated Cowins into his unfolding narrative, dropping cryptic hints about her involvement and alluding to a possible “tell-all documentary.”

Whether the Grammy-winning artist intends to unravel details from Cowins’ alleged cooperation with federal authorities or use her as a tool to discredit Big Meech remains to be seen.

Either way, it’s clear that 50’s grievances stretch far beyond social media posts.

Adding fuel to the fire, speculation around Cowins’ role has intensified since 50 officially announced that the upcoming season of “BMF” would be its last—a move that coincided noticeably with Big Meech’s public photo-op with Rick Ross.

Despite Cowins’ apparent retreat from public life, her name is resurfacing in ways that suggest a deeper collaboration—or conflict—with 50’s plans.

Big Meech’s association with Rick Ross may, knowingly or not, have placed him at the epicenter of a battle over loyalty and power.

Kai Cenat Had Mob Of Little Kids Chasing Him After 2025 Grammys

Kai Cenat made some noise at the 2025 Grammys. First of all, he squashed the beef with Elliot Wilson over their differences in philosophy as it relates to journalism. Kai has never established himself as a journalist, but I think that he was getting interviews that Wilson felt were for him.

Anyway, on Sunday night (February 2), some people speculated that Kai pulled another one of his infamous stunts. As the Grammys ended and celebrities filed out into the streets amongst the people with very little security, a slew of children were chasing after him.

Now, these were not young men and women, these were straight up children running after him as he left the Crypto.Com Arena, where the Grammys were held.

There were so many feral kids running around, people in observance speculated that Kai Cenat told them where he would be and invited them to chase him around like they would chase Michael Jackson or something.

It was quite the spectacle and most people just kind of shook their heads. That’s clearly how he has maintained his tremendous celebrity. And that celebrity has gotten him a lot of money.

Anyway, Oprah Winfrey’s best friend and established journalist, Gayle King, was treated similarly, but we know that she didn’t call anyone; people just wanted photos with her. But she also didn’t have security and just had some handlers who were helping mitigate the situation.

So, she was just running toward her car or whatever and taking selfies along the way. But it was pretty cool to see such an influential and wealthy person among the regular folks.

Another person who was pretty welcoming was Dr. Dre. After the awards show, Dr. Dre was seen taking pictures with just about everyone.

But most notably, he took pictures with the first responders to the wildfires in Pasadena. And they took a huge picture with all of them and he was in the center. It was a pretty dope visual. And, Dr. Dre appeared to be in great spirits. It almost would seem like his “attitude” is gone. Did you see what I did there?

Anyway, those are just some of the sights and sounds that we saw during the surrounding events at the Grammys.

Kanye West’s Grammy Awards Red Carpet Stunt Might Have Just Cost Him $20M

Kanye West may have cost himself a whopping eight-figure payday after his controversial red carpet appearance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards with his wife, Bianca Censori.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, sources in Tokyo claim investors have pulled the plug on two high-profile concerts at the Tokyo Dome this May. The bankrolling group is reportedly citing outrage over the couple’s nearly nude outing at the Grammys, during which Censori wore a see-through dress exposing her “unmentionables.”

The rapper-turned-fashion mogul, who’s lived in Tokyo for much of the past year, was reportedly set to perform in front of thousands. A lucrative deal worth $20 million was already in place, but Japanese investors were horrified by the Grammy night stunt.

“Kanye completely misjudged Japan’s cultural climate,” a Tokyo insider revealed. “The country is experiencing a significant movement around women’s rights and the MeToo conversation is strong here. What he did is seen as coercive control, which is utterly unacceptable.”

During the red carpet walk, West was overheard issuing commands to Censori, who initially wore a black fur coat over the sheer outfit. A lip reader claimed West instructed her, “You’re making a scene now… drop it behind you and turn, I got you.” Censori reportedly nodded and complied before the couple made their swift exit into a waiting limo.

The backlash in Japan has been swift and severe. “

The investors backing the concerts are extremely upset,” a source close to the situation said. “It’s highly likely they will pull the funding. He’s not welcome anymore.”

Censori, a 30-year-old architecture graduate from Melbourne, Australia, has her own intriguing backstory. Her father Leo Censori is a convicted criminal, and her uncle Eris Censori was once dubbed “Melbourne’s Al Capone” after being sentenced to life for murder.

After graduating and briefly running a jewelry business, Censori joined Yeezy as an architectural designer. The couple reportedly tied the knot in a private ceremony shortly after West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian, although no official certificate has been filed.

Their relationship has drawn controversy from the start, including a police investigation last year when they were spotted allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior on a water taxi in Venice. Despite the scandals, insiders claim Censori believes she’s West’s “muse” and supports his artistic vision.

Babyface’s Grammys Snub Outrages Boyz II Men, Khloé Kardashian & Dionne Warwick

Multiple stars have come to the defense of Babyface after the R&B star became the subject of a controversial incident at the 67th Grammy Awards.

On Monday (February 3), Boyz II Men vocalist Shawn Stockman recently expressed his frustration on Instagram regarding an incident in which Babyface was abruptly cut off during an interview with the Associated Press. The moment, which has since gone viral, occurred after Babyface’s interview was interrupted by the reporter shouting for Chappell Roan, who had just walked by. The move led Babyface to hand off his microphone and walk away in apparent frustration as he muttered, “Go do that.”

“This really, really bothered me,” Stockman said in the video he shared on Instagram. “A friend of mine was on the red carpet being interviewed by a couple of young ladies. And during his interview, they saw someone that was, I guess, currently hot right now. They basically interrupted my friend, who’s a legend in the music business—not just Black music, but in music in general.”

Stockman emphasized the lack of respect often shown toward music legends and compared it to how athletes are treated in the NFL and NBA.

“That would never happen in the NFL or the NBA,” he said. “You would never disrespect Magic Johnson. You would never disrespect any football legend, Deion Sanders, or whoever.”

Stockman’s sentiments were echoed by Khloé Kardashian, who condemned the “disrespectful” incident in a long winded reaction on Twitter.

“This is so disrespectful how Babyface was treated in this interview,” Kardashian wrote in part in the tweet. “Babyface has had such a significant impact on the music industry, in sooo many ways. Its maddening to see a LEGEND not get the respect and attention they deserve. He is a pioneer and deserves so much better than this.”

In a thread of tweets in which she shared a screenshot of the definition of the term “decorum” Dionne Warwick also expressed her disbelief, writing, “13x Grammy Award winning Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds? Am I seeing this correctly?”

The AP has since released a statement on the matter, writing, “We are deeply sorry for cutting our interview with Babyface short on our YouTube livestream of the Grammys red carpet. We have apologized to him through his representative and to our viewers on the livestream.”

Babyface, however, appeared to be unfazed by the moment. He shared a tweet the following day showcasing his dapper outfit for the occasion.

“GRAMMY’S 2025,” Babyface wrote in the tweet stamped with a trophy emoji.

Alicia Keys Presented With Dr. Dre Impact Award—But Not Everybody Was Celebrating

Queen Latifah presented Alicia Keys with the Dr. Dre Impact Award at the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 2)—but not everybody was celebrating. While Keys undoubtedly deserves the recognition, it’s the name of the award that was giving people pause.

As one person observed, “No one finds it weird that a female rapper who penned an anti-domestic violence anthem, Queen Latifah, is giving Alicia Keys an award named after a notorious domestic abuser?! The Grammys needs to rename the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award after someone respectable.”

“Who you calling a b####?” is right. Now, I’ll be the first to admit—I still bump Dr. Dre’s music; from The Chronic to songs like “Forgot About Dre” and “Still D.R.E.” But, as I get older, it gets harder to stomach the blatant misogyny and sexism running rampant in a lot of popular music.

One of my favorite albums, Beastie Boys’ Licensed to Ill, which I credit for introducing me to Hip-Hop in 1986, has a song called “Girls” that I skip. When I was a young kid, I didn’t understand just how absurd it was. These days, it’s like, “Pfft, do your own laundry, dick.”

Back to the subject at hand. Dr. Dre has a history of disrespecting women that dates back to the 1980s, when he physically abused his former girlfriend Michel’le on a regular basis. In fact, during an interview with The Breakfast Club, Michel’le claimed Dr. Dre even shot a gun at her during an argument, missing her by inches.

She left the bullet in the door so he would see it and noted, “He never tried to shoot me anymore. Thank God. But the beatings were—it was a lot… His last wife, I just couldn’t do it anymore. It’s too much.” She eventually began to self medicate with prescription pills and alcohol. She ultimately left Dre after she discovered he was engaged to another woman.

Following the 2015 release of the film Straight Outta Compton, Dre issued a statement to The New York Times to address the omission of abuse from the film. In the op-ed, he apologized to the women he has hurt, but Michel’le didn’t buy it.

“He apologized to the public,” she said at the time. “I don’t think that was an apology to me, because if it was, he would’ve either called me without the public and said ‘Michel’le, I am so sorry for what I did to you 20-something years ago,’ that’s an apology.”

In 1991, Dr. Dre infamously assaulted former Pump It Up! host Dee Barnes during an industry party. The incident, which transpired after she aired an interview with Ice Cube discussing his fallout with N.W.A, led to legal action, but it also seemed to put a target on Barnes’s back. Following the assault, she struggled to find work in the industry. In a 2019 interview, she told me she was homeless and, as a result, I helped her with a GoFundMe. The story went viral, with Variety, Essence, XXL and Rolling Stone among the many publications picking it up.

“I had never asked for public help before, but I then remembered a long time ago while I was going through the assault trial in 1991, people were sending me checks for my legal fees,” she told me at the time. “I never cashed any of them—not one—but knowing I had that support kept me strong enough to continue to face each court date.”

In 2017, HBO released a series called The Defiant Ones about Dr. Dre and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine in which Dre, once again, talked about the abuse he inflicted on various women throughout his life.

“Any man that puts his hands on a female is a f###### idiot,” he says in the doc. “It’s a major blemish on who I am as a man.” (Barnes’ $22 million lawsuit against Dre was settled out of court in the ’90s.)

Needless to say, maybe Keys—who is supposed to represent a “strong, independent woman who don’t need no man” [look up that meme if you haven’t seen it; it’s hilarious]—should have thought twice when accepting the honor. While it’s entirely possible Dr. Dre has changed his ways, his contentious 2021 divorce from his wife of 25 years, Nicole Young, suggested otherwise. But, of course, that’s a case of he said-she said.

We might never know the truth—but shout out Alicia Keys nonetheless. With 18 Grammys and dozens of other awards, she’s gonna have trouble finding space on her mantle.

Kanye West Labels Don Lemon “A Koon” For Starting Salacious Grammys Rumor

Kanye West and his basically naked wife, Bianca Censori, were rumored to have been escorted out of the 67th Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 2).

But according to West, that was a lie. On Monday (February 3), the controversial artist hopped back on Instagram to set the record straight.

Sharing an old photo of journalist Don Lemon, he told his 20.7 million followers, “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always KOONS like this.”

Kanye West and Censori showed up at the Grammys red carpet allegedly “uninvited” despite West being a 2025 nominee. Entertainment Tonight then claimed the couple had been thrown out out of the event, writing in a post, “ET has learned that the rapper, his wife, and an entourage of about five people showed up to the Grammys uninvited. Kanye walked the red carpet with Bianca, who appeared to be fully naked under her fur coat. ET was told that the couple was then escorted out of the awards show.”

That rumor was quickly debunked by several outlets. An insider close to the Recording Academy told TMZ that West, who was nominated for Best Rap Song for “Carnival,” was “an invited guest” and “wasn’t forcibly removed from the event,” adding that he “walked the red carpet, got in his car of his own volition, and then left…police and Grammys security never got involved.”

Par for the course, West and Censori made a provocative entrance, which appeared to be a desperate ploy for attention. Initially arriving in a long black fur coat, Censori disrobed on the red carpet to reveal a sheer, see-through slip that left little to the imagination.

The bold “fashion choice” sparked widespread criticism across social media platforms, although some viewed her attire as a daring fashion statement. But most people wondered why she wasn’t arrested for “indecent exposure.”

PARTY later confirmed the existence of the album while hyping up the project during an interview.

When asked what his favorite collaboration he has ever released, PARTYNEXTDOOR hinted it was his joint project with Drake. He also shared some details about the tracklist.

“The one we doing right now,” he replied. “All 15, all 15 we doing right now.”

Drake recently teased his PARTYNEXTDOOR album while sharing a message of positivity to his fellow Torontonians.

“Love to all the 6’ers,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Winter months are the toughest. S### can be depressing so take care of yourselves and try show love to each other.”

Meanwhile, Drizzy may have been absent from the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 2), but his presence loomed large as Kendrick Lamar dominated the night, sweeping the show with his scathing Drake diss, Not Like Us.

The audience chanted “A-MINORRRR” in unison as K. Dot collected his Record of the Year Grammy.

Lamar also clinched his four other nominations, winning Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Drake may not have addressed Lamar’s wins but his father did. Read what Dennis Graham had to say here.

Janelle Monáe Disses Nelly For Trump Performance In Freestyle  At Grammys After-Party

Janelle Monáe unleashed on Nelly during a Grammy after-party, blasting the rapper for performing at President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The singer and actress joined Anderson .Paak at a West Hollywood bash following the award ceremony. The two entertainers were performing an impromptu session when Nelly’s 2002 hit “Hot in Herre” came on.

Although Janelle Monáe started off singing the hook, she quickly switched to freestyling to take shots at Nelly.

“F### you Nelly!” She began. “I used to like Nelly… but then he went to perform for Donald Trump. F### that n####. I don’t give a f###. I’m with my family ain’t nobody gonna hate on us. I care about women.”

Monáe continued, expressing solidarity with various marginalized groups targeted by Trump’s recent executive orders before returning to Nelly.

“F### you, Nelly, you sold out. I used to think you was cool. But now you look like a m############ fool,” she added. “I might be a little tipsy but I know everything I’m saying. F### you n####. Get a new attitude.”

Nelly faced intense backlash for performing at the Liberty Ball for Trump’s inauguration.

However, he responded to the criticism while standing by his decision, insisting he wasn’t endorsing Trump.

“He’s the president,” he said. “He won […] He’s the commander-in-chief of what I would like to say is the best country in the world. That’s why I’m not telling you who to vote for. He’s the president of the United States, not the candidate for the United States. I respect the office. It don’t matter who is in office. If they can put their life on the line for whoever is in office, I can damn sure perform for whoever is in office.”

Doechii Makes Grammy History: Emotional Speech Inspires Black Women Everywhere

Doechii had a lot to celebrate on Sunday, collecting her first-ever Grammy Award, delivering a standout performance at the ceremony, and dropping a brand-new single just hours after claiming the golden gramophone.

The TDE artist clinched the coveted Best Rap Album award for her breakthrough mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, making history as the first female artist to receive the nod for a mixtape.

Additionally, her win marks only the third time a woman has claimed the category, following Lauryn Hill’s win as part of the Fugees for The Score in 1996 and Cardi B’s solo triumph with Invasion of Privacy in 2019.

Doechii delivered an inspirational acceptance speech presented by Cardi B, the last woman to win the Best Rap Album Grammy.

“I know that there is some Black girl out there, so many Black women out there that are watching me right now,” she stated. “I want to tell you: You can do it. Anything is possible!”

Doechii echoed the phrase as the crowd erupted in applause, rising to their feet for a standing ovation.

“Don’t allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you, that tell you that you can’t be here,” she continued. “That you’re too dark or that you’re not smart enough or that you’re too dramatic or you’re too loud. You are exactly who you need to be, to be right where you are, and I am a testimony. Praise God!”

Elsewhere during the ceremony, Doechii performed a high-energy rendition of her singles “Catfish” and “Denial is a River.”

The “Swamp Princess celebrated her win with her fans by dropping a brand new single, “Nosebleeds.”

Despite her Grammy win, Doechii is gearing up to release her debut album, due later this year.
