Jay-Z Addresses Meek Mill Leaving Roc Nation

Back in July, Meek Mill revealed he is no longer part of Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management roster. The “Ima Boss” rhymer did point out that he still has some ties to the company and its leadership.

“All I seen today was Meek and Roc part ways… I’m personally handling my own business so I can take risks and grow,” tweeted Meek. “We came to that agreement together. I have a label deal with Roc for my artist and I got [REFORM Alliance,] super tied with them and many other investments [with Jay-Z].”

The Philadelphia-bred emcee also posted, “They ain’t stop nothing I’m doing. We made about a [$100 Million] together. Mike and Hov saved my life [before]. And put a lot of energy into it. I’m not behind on my favors in life [with] my people. I’m good.”

Later, news broke that Meek Mill signed with the William Morris Endeavor talent agency. The deal includes a partnership between WME and Meek’s Culture Currency initiative. WME represents the 35-year-old entertainer in all areas.

Jay-Z has now addressed his current relationship with Meek Mill. Instead of offering a response on social media, the Brooklynite rapped about Meek leaving Roc Nation on DJ Khaled’s God Did album title track.

“Me and Meek could never beef. I freed that n#### from a whole bid, Hov did,” says Jay-Z on the “God Did” song. The two rap stars are also aligned as members of the Board of Directors for the REFORM Alliance.

Jay-Z’s “God Did” verse also includes references to Kanye West, Rihanna, and LeBron James. The DJ Khaled-fronted collaboration features Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend, and Fridayy as well.

Offset Drops “CODE” Featuring Moneybagg Yo After Feuding With QC

Kiari “Offset” Cephus continues to release new music as a soloist. This week saw the arrival of “CODE” featuring Memphis-bred rapper Moneybagg Yo via Motown Records.

“CODE” dropped just days after Offset publicly clashed with Quality Control Music’s co-founder Pierre “P” Thomas. According to reports, Set sued the QC label over control of his solo music.

“N##### act like I’m the problem. I paid millions to get my rights back. N####, you blackballed me. I ain’t said s### one time homie. I ain’t spoke to you in 2 years. Now I drop and you want ya name on my credit?” tweeted Offset in response to P.

Rumors of a Migos breakup have circulated online for months. The speculation of dissension in the ranks rose when Quavo and Takeoff presented the “Us Vs Them” single as just a duo.

Around that same time, the National Battle Of The Bands announced an upcoming Migos performance by only promoting Quavo and Takeoff. That show takes place this weekend in Houston.

Meanwhile, Offset began letting loose his own tracks. The Baby Keem-produced “5 4 3 2 1” became Set’s first solo record in three years. The Atlanta native first went solo with the Father of 4 album in 2019.

Offset also released an official “CODE” music video. In addition to Moneybagg Yo, the Claire Arnold-directed visuals star supermodel Bella Hadid. Offset is credited as a co-creative director of the three-minute clip.

DJ Khaled Discusses Migos Breakup Rumors

Today (August 26), DJ Khaled released his thirteenth studio LP, God Did. The project hosts a song titled “Party All the Time” which features Migos members Quavo and Takeoff.

“Party All the Time” did not include Offset, the third member of Migos. The track arrived the same week that Offset publicly feuded with Quality Control Music co-founder Pierre “P” Thomas over leaving the label.

Zane Lowe recently spoke to DJ Khaled for Apple Music’s New Music Daily. While discussing his new God Did album, Khaled also shared his thoughts on speculation that Offset has parted ways with Migos and QC.

“Those are all my brothers, all three of them are my brothers, and from their big brother, we want to see them together no matter what,” said DJ Khaled. “Nobody says they’re not together, so I’m not going to be one of those guys that’s going to.”

He added, “Those are brothers. You’re asking me, I’m always going to be like, ‘Those are brothers, and it’s our job to make sure that they continue to be brothers.’ But obviously, they got their thing. I don’t know, but I could tell you this, that m############ Takeoff and Quavo on this album, called ‘Party All the Time.'”

DJ Khaled’s God Did also contains contributions by Drake, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, Future, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch, SZA, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, Gunna, Latto, City Girls, Jadakiss, and more.

Jamie Foxx Has Snoop Dogg In Hysterics With Spot-On Donald Trump Impression

Is there anything Jamie Foxx can’t do

Jamie Foxx is one of the most talented artists in the game, with critically acclaimed award-winning performances as an actor, comedian, and singer. However, his latest viral moment comes from his skills as an impressionist.

The multi-hyphenate flexed his talent while promoting his new action-comedy vampire movie, Day Shift. He joined co-star Snoop Doog on the Rap Radar Podcast hosted by Elliot Wilson and Brian “B. Dot” Miller.

“I love Snoop D-O Double-G. Great person,” Jamie Foxx said, mimicking Donald Trump’s distinctive cadence. When asked if he loves Death Row, he nailed some key Trumpisms in response: “I love Death Row Records. I love Death Ro…” as the group erupted in laughter, Foxx said, “Excuse Me. Excuse me, fake news. I love Death Row.”

He also turned to one of Trump’s favorite topics: Covis-19. “They tried to give me the virus,” Jamie Foxx yelled, Donald Trump style. “I beat the virus.”

Finally, Jamie Foxx couldn’t keep up going any longer and burst into laughter himself. “He said ‘they’ tried to give him the virus’,” he mocked, speaking in his own voice. “Who is they?”

Jamie Foxx shared his Donald Trump impersonation on Instagram and teased a new stand-up show coming.

“That time #donaldtrump showed up and the press junket for DAYSHIFT!!! Can’t wait for y’all to see my new stand-up!!! We coming!!!! #backonmyfunnyshit @netflix dayshift streaming now!!!

Lawyer Of Kenneth Petty’s Rape Accuser Suggests Nicki Minaj’s Team is Responsible For “Heavily Edited” Old Clip Resurfacing

Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty were trending on Twitter earlier this week (Aug. 24) after an old video resurfaced, seemingly of his accuser Jennifer Hough claiming she was pressured into pressing rape charges against him.

The now-viral video features Jennifer Hough stating that she wanted to drop the charges during the trial but was not permitted to do so in court. However, her lawyer claims the old recording is “heavily edited,” adding, “Nicki’s team should post the entire conversation.”

Kenneth Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995. He spent roughly four years in prison after Jennifer Hough alleged that he raped her in 1994.

The resurfaced recording begins with Jennifer Hough explaining what she said to the judge during the 90s trial. “Your Honor. I’m the person who pressed the charges, I would like to drop the charges. I made a huge mistake.” Hough claims the response was “Take it to the D.A.,” adding, “nobody wanted to hear s###.”

When asked if she was told she would go to jail for recanting her story, Jennifer Hough said that was not the case before claiming she wrote a letter instead. “I wrote the letter. I gave it to the D.A. and then I showed up at court.”  Check out the clip below.

Nicki Minaj addressed the alleged letter during an episode of her Queen Radio show in November 2019. “When the alleged accuser wrote a letter to the judge asking to recant the statements, she was told that she would go to jail for 90 days, allegedly, if she recants the statement,” the rapper said.

In the letter, Jennifer Hough alleges she stated, “I was pressured to press charges against him and that I wanted to drop the charges.” She added, “I didn’t want him to go to jail. I was young, I was 16.”

Jennifer Hough’s Attorney Says Clip is “Old” & “Heavily Editied”

However, Hough’s attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn said the resurfaced clip is doctored and claimed further evidence against Petty will emerge in the ongoing civil trial.

“The video clips online are old heavily edited clips between Jennifer and Black,” the attorney told Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee via text message. “Nicki’s team should post the entire conversation and not just snippets. We are not worried! In fact, the Queens DA is in the process of compiling over 200 pages of documents stemming from the 1994/5 rape hearing and conviction which we will use in our civil case against Kenneth.”

In August 2021, Hough filed a $20 million lawsuit against Kenneth Petty and Nicki Minaj for harassment and intimidation.

Blackburn also told Radar Online, “the same man that threatened her life on IG live does not deserve a comment. Ask that rapist to explain the transcript from his plea hearing where he admitted to attempting to rape Jennifer.”

During her interview with The Real earlier this year, Jennifer alleged her family forced her to retract her rape allegations. Check out the clip below.

Michigan Rapper Cliff Mac Indicted In Murder-For-Hire Plot

Flint rapper Cliff Mac was hit with multiple charges for allegedly hiring someone to murder a woman for $10,000.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan announced the indictment of Cliff Mac on Thursday (August 25). He was charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in personal injury, murder-for-hire resulting in personal injury and using a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

Authorities said Cliff Mac, whose real name is Clifton E. Terry III, hired a 25-year-old man named Andre D. Sims to kill a woman who lives in a suburb of Detroit. Sims shot the intended target multiple times, but the victim managed to survive the shooting.

“Terry solicited Sims to murder a female Sterling Heights resident for $10,000 in cash,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. “On November 27, 2020, Sims traveled from Grand Rapids to Flint where he obtained a vehicle. In the early morning of November 28, 2020, Sims drove to the victim’s residence in Sterling Heights and parked across the street. When the victim left her residence several hours later Sims approached her vehicle and fired seven to eight gunshots at the victim. Despite being shot multiple times, the victim survived.”

Cliff Mac allegedly agreed to pay Sims $2,500 following the failed hit. Sims was indicted for his role in the murder-for-hire scheme in March.

If convicted, Cliff Mac faces the possibility of life in prison. He’s also charged with first-degree murder in a separate case in Flint.

Barbie Ferreira Leaves Euphoria After Tension On The Set

Barbie Ferreira has quit Euphoria after two seasons.

The 25-year-old actress, who plays Kat Hernandez on the HBO show, announced on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday night that she was leaving the series before its third season.

“After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye,” she wrote beside co-star Hunter Schafer’s drawing of her character. “I hope many of you could see yourself in her like I did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today. I put all my care and love into her and I hope you guys could feel it. Love you Katherine Hernandez.”

Barbie’s announcement comes six months after it was reported that Kat has been relegated to a supporting role in season two due to on-set tension between Barbie and showrunner Sam Levinson, who writes and directs all the episodes.

The reports alleged that Barbie walked off set and some of her scenes were cut as a result of their fallout.

In March, she indirectly hinted that the story wasn’t completely accurate during an interview with Insider, insisting that some of the speculation is “not rooted in the truth.”

“What’s interesting about this season is there are so many more eyes on it that even the news cycle has been so interesting to see,” she stated. “I’ve seen so many different things and a lot of it is untrue and some of it’s kind of like mundane little things.”

Barbie also addressed her reduced screen time in an interview with The Cut, explaining that Kat’s journey was “a little more internal” and “a little mysterious to the audience” in season two.

Euphoria season three is expected to star Zendaya, Hunter, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow and Alexa Demie.

Twitter Teases Lil Pump For Getting Ignored In Japan

Millennial rapper Lil Pump was shocked he did not gett the Will Smith/Jay-Z treatment overseas.

He went to Japan and was a little miffed that people didn’t recognize who he was. The miff-osity was captured on video and shared online. After the viral clip of him getting basically ignored by droves of Asian people, folk called him out and said it should be a wake-up call.

Some teased the “Gucci Gang” chart-topper for not being as big as he thinks he is.

Twitter went crazy.

“Lil pump trying to act surprised as if he didn’t fall off years ago,” one person tweeted.

https://youtu.be/gVC-tMMrMc0

“Japan chews and spits out idol pop groups weekly. Lil pump really thinks a country that makes 15 ‘spice girls’ groups a month is gonna know who/what a soundcloud rapper is?”

One person put a different spin on it, reminding the world who has his back.

“Patriots know him, and he loves America. That’s all that matters. #UltraMAGA #LilPump #USA.

This is kind of true. As AllHipHop.com reported in 2020, the Miami native endorsed the former president, Donald Trump.

He captioned on Instagram, “All I gotta say is Trump 2020, b####! F### I look like paying an extra 33 in tax for Biden, b#### ass n####? F### ‘Sleepy Joe’ n####! Trump 2020, b####!” screamed Lil Pump into his phone camera. He seemed to be referring to former Vice President Biden’s proposed policy of raising taxes for individuals earning over $400,000 annually.”

Kodak Black To Learn His Fate In Drug Bust In September

Kodak Black will find out if he’s heading back to jail in September.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, a judge will decide whether or not to revoke Kodak Black’s supervised release on September 23. The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, is currently out on bond following his July arrest on drug charges.

“Bill K. Kapri Final Hearing re Revocation of Supervised Release reset for 9/23/2022 01:30 PM in Miami Division before Judge Jose E. Martinez,” a notice of hearing reads. “30 minutes have been reserved for this hearing; if additional time will be required, please contact the courtroom deputy to arrange.”

The notice adds, “Counsel are reminded that Defendant is expected to voluntarily surrender at the conclusion of the hearing should the sentence include incarceration. Extended surrender will not be considered unless a defendant is actively cooperating with the Government and the Government requests an extension of the surrender date.”

Florida Highway Patrol arrested Kodak Black during a traffic stop on July 15. He was charged with trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities seized his Dodge Durango and roughly $75,000 in cash. Kodak Black pursued legal action to recover his car and money.

Vivica A. Fox And Jada Pinkett Smith No Longer Speak Thanks To Will Smith

Vivica A. Fox is yet to speak to Jada Pinkett Smith after blasting the talk show host’s reaction to her husband Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at this year’s Oscars.

While speaking to People, Vivica, 58, was asked for her reaction to Will’s return to public life after the infamous incident, where she admitted she hasn’t had contact with the married stars.

“I think they’re just really going through a season of healing right now,” she explained of their silence towards her.
“Listen, I love Will Smith. He’s one of my favorite people on the planet. We all make mistakes. If there’s one person that deserves a second chance, it is him. I think he’s taken full accountability for his actions, and he apologized.”

Vivica, who starred alongside Will in “Independence Day” and Jada in “Set It Off,” previously spoke about the slap and the resulting backlash on “The Wendy Williams Show,” addressing Jada’s comments on the incident during her “Red Table Talk” series.

Jada had said, “My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile. With the state of the world today, we need ’em both.”

To which Vivica responded by saying she “wished that we could have had a little bit more accountability and for it to not seem so self-righteous on Jada’s part.”

Tommy Lee Infatuation With Penis Continues At Live Show

Tommy Lee has shared the story behind the full-frontal nude selfie he recently posted on social media.

Earlier this month, the Mötley Crüe drummer uploaded a photo of himself fully naked on Twitter with no explanation and on Instagram with the caption “Oooooopppsss.”

The Instagram post was later deleted, but the picture remains up on Twitter.

Tommy explained what led to the post at a San Antonio concert on Sunday, telling the crowd: “A couple of weeks ago, we had like a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a motherf**king bender, bro.

“I got f###### sideways as f### and got naked and posted pictures of my dick.” The rocker then issued a challenge to concertgoers.

“Usually, I mean I’m a t#### man, so I like to see t######, but tonight is equal-opportunity night,” the 59-year-old said. “Tonight I wanna see everyone’s dick. C’mon boys, pull your s### out. Pull your f###### junk out. Let’s go.”

Pointing to a man in the audience, he added: “He’s ready to pull his dick out. Show the whole world that m############ hot dog.”

When the attendee didn’t oblige, Tommy responded: “The wife says no? Divorce!”
Mötley Crüe is currently on tour with Def Leppard and special guests Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

After Tommy’s nude selfie was deleted, he posted a meme of a nude man standing in front of an elephant captioned “How do you breathe through that little thing?”

Did Racism Make John Boyega Quit “Star Wars?”

John Boyega has confirmed his exit from the “Star Wars” movies.

While appearing on radio station SiriusXM’s “Tell Me Everything” with John Fugelsang, the English actor, who plays Finn in the epic space franchise, revealed he would not be coming back for another feature.

“At this point I’m cool off it. I’m good off it,” Boyega said of the Disney property. “I think Finn is at a good confirmation point where you can just enjoy him in other things, the games, the animation. But I feel like (Episode) VII to (Episode) IX was good for me.”

He added: “With the allies that I’ve found within Joel Taylor and Jamie Foxx, Teyonah Parris, Viola Davis, all these people I’ve been working with… versatility is my path.”

Boyega is currently promoting his upcoming films “Breaking” and “The Woman King.”

In the interview, the actor also discussed the racist hate he received from the “Star Wars” fandom while he played Finn.

Fellow “Star War” actor Moses Ingram faced a similar experience during the Obi-Wan Kenobi show’s release.

Disney and Obi-Wan co-star Ewan McGregor issued statements defending Ingram.

“Moses Ingram being protected makes me feel protected,” Boyega said of the incident. “It makes me feel like, ‘Okay, cool. I am not the elephant in the room.’ Because when I started, it wasn’t really a conversation you could bring up.

“But now to see how blatant it is, to see Ewan McGregor come and support… for me, (it) fulfils my time where I didn’t get the support.”

The 30-year-old previously blasted Disney for sidelining Black actors in the “Star Wars” films.

Tracy Morgan, Jimmy Fallon Accused Of Enabling Sexual Assault

The woman suing Horatio Sanz for alleged sexual assault has added Jimmy Fallon to the suit.

In a filing obtained by Deadline on Tuesday, the woman, who claims former “Saturday Night Live” star Sanz sexually assaulted her in 2002, added Fallon, Tracy Morgan, and SNL creator Lorne Michaels to the complaint as “enablers.”

The original filing claimed Sanz assaulted the woman – who remains anonymous – when she was 17. It reported that the alleged sexual assault occurred at a “Saturday Night Live” party with multiple witnesses present.

NBC was also implicated in the complaint as the official party host.

The updated filing named “SNL” alumni Fallon and Morgan as willing participants in the “after-parties” and “after-after-parties” in which underage teenage girls were allegedly given alcohol.

It named Michaels as having fostered this predatory environment.

Using the pseudonym Jane Doe to protect the plaintiff’s anonymity, the woman’s attorney said of her assault: “Sanz and his enablers lured Jane into their celebrity world and made her feel like a cool kid for drinking and partying with a bunch of famous grown-ups… Instead, they destroyed her life.

“Jane has spent the past two decades struggling with the repercussions of what they did to her; now it’s their turn. We look forward to holding NBC, Sanz, and everyone else who enabled this disgusting behavior accountable.”

An NBC spokesperson responded to the updated filing by announcing that the network “intends to renew its motion to dismiss” the suit.

Cormega Gives Details On Nas/Alchemist Collab, The Realness 2 Info, Why He Takes Respect Over Likes

Cormega has changed and evolved. The Realness, his debut album, featured Mobb Deep and Tragedy Khadafi, The Alchemist and many others when it touched down in 2001. It certified Mega as a legend and the album is one of several classics that has sustained his lengthy tenure in rap.

In that time, he has continued on his independent path, collecting respect. “Now I want people, because I never had it,” He tells AllHipHop’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur. “I don’t have a chip on my shoulder now.” Back in the day, Nas first mentioned Cormega on “One Love,” leading many to believe that’s the cause fo his success. They could not have been more wrong. Mega has shown and proved time and time again that he’s worthy.

Now, on the verge of The Realness II, Mega SZA has arrived yet again like a gust of cold air on a hot day. The new album, a partnership with Viper Records, is looking like another classic in his catalog. The new album features Domingo, The Alchemist, Nas, Havoc, StreetRunner, Tarik Azzouz, Lloyd Banks and many more. This interview with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur has so many gems, as well as Cormega opening up about why it has taken so long for him to return to us.
