Nicki Minaj Calls Out Vogue Editor Anna Wintour Over Cover Snub

Nicki Minaj can’t believe she has never been invited to pose for the cover of U.S. Vogue.

During an interview with Joe Budden, the “Super Bass” rapper called out Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of the American fashion publication, for selecting celebrities such as Billie Eilish for the honor over her.

“You would think that right now hip-hop is the biggest, most influential genre in the world, you would think that the biggest female rapper of all time, who has set so many trends, would have been on the cover of American Vogue, but she hasn’t…when Billie Eilish comes out and she sets a trend with her green hair, she’s immediately put on American Vogue,” she commented. “But when a Black female rapper who has been setting the trend for 10 years does it, no one says anything. A big part of the reason why we’re not represented is because – what I think we’re doing now, I think we’re all speaking up for each other. So, I think now, we’ve all made it so, ‘No, people have to pay attention to what they’re doing, how they’re treating Black artists and Black people, and there has to be representation.’”

Nicki Minaj previously appeared on the cover of Vogue Arabia in September 2018.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the superstar spoke about how having pink hair has developed into an intrinsic part of her image.

“They think, ‘This is what I have to look like.’ I remember I would never see any female rapper wearing pink hair. Pink hair became a part of that starter kit. Every female rapper will put on a pink wig at some point, and I remember that was just the Nicki Minaj thing. That’s why when I said, ‘Pink wig thick ass,’ that’s an iconic Nicki Minaj line because that’s what she wears.’ Now it’s everybody: pink wig, thick a*s, right?” continued Nicki.

“Euphoria” Actor Loves Long Hours As HBO Defends Toxic Workplace Allegations

HBO network officials have defended “Euphoria” following allegations of a toxic work environment.

In February, editors at The Daily Beast published a report alleging that background actors working on the teen drama, run by Sam Levinson and starring Zendaya, had made complaints to the actors’ union SAG-AFTRA.

They complained over the alleged failure “to provide them meals on time and refusing to let people use the bathroom” and also claimed they were made to work 15-17-hour days.

In response, HBO bosses defended the show against the toxic workplace claims in a statement.

“The well-being of cast and crew on our productions is always a top priority. The production was in full compliance with all safety guidelines and guild protocols,” the statement reads, reports Deadline. “It’s not uncommon for drama series to have complex shoots, and COVID protocols add an additional layer. We maintain an open line of communication with all the guilds, including SAG-AFTRA. There were never any formal inquiries raised.”

Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs in the series, previously spoke to Variety about the working hours rumor.

“Whilst you shouldn’t suffer, to me, there’s great value in working hard. And for every hour that I’ve personally put in on that set, I can see it when I watch the show, and I can feel it when I’m walking on the street and people love the show,” he responded. “So for me, working long hours is like the greatest joy. And they just they take care of us. That’s my family. If I’m working long hours, Sam’s working twice as long, Zendaya’s working three times as long. We’re all in it together.”

“Euphoria,” which has been renewed for Season 3, is created, written, directed, and executive produced by Levinson and rap star Drake.

It also stars Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Angus Cloud.

There are no words to describe how incredible it is to be able to help someone find their strength and heal.”

In 2014, when Salice had grown a solid audience on Instagram, she turned her attention to YouTube, launching her own channel where she continues to document more personal aspects of her life and has amassed over 71 cumulative views. Megan Thee Stallion Blames “Double Standard” For Backlash Over Nasty Lyrics On New Song With “Dua Lipa”

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is speaking out on society and its double standards on gender politics in music, specifically regarding lyrics.

The Houston native is experiencing backlash again after dropping yet another sexually explicit song. This time the people are throwing shots at her new duet with Dua Lipa, “Sweetest Pie.”

Critics are saying the lyrics are X-rated and vulgar.

Megan barked back, asking why the same criticism is not applied to the “boys” that have similar content in their songs.

While kicking it with Dua Lipa on the “At Your Service” podcast, produced by the former British model, she said, “A boy could start rapping about popping pills and enjoying four women at one time, and nobody would have a problem with that. But if Megan Thee Stallion says, ‘Eat my p####’ one time, there’s uproar. Like, ‘You better not ever say that word again in your life.’”

“I definitely have to let people know that pleasure does not go one way,” the 27-year-old recent college grad continued. “So, if you get offended by a woman talking about how she likes to be pleased, then I think you need to take a step back and re-evaluate what you’re into.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0BrfGMSRBo

This is not the first time people have commented on her provocative lyrics.

However, she refuses to let the critics box her in and distract her from her walk on the path of sexual liberation.

“It definitely is a crazy double standard. But I feel like we are girls, right, and sometimes I just have to take it as everybody knows that we are superior,” she stated on the show. “I feel like we get critiqued so heavy because everybody just knows that women are the s###.”

The “Sweetest Pie” debuted this Friday, March 11th, to rave reviews and criticism from the sexually frigid.

She and Dua Lipa are going to sit back and watch the hate drive that song to the top of the charts… like it did her other controversial song, “WAP,” featuring Cardi B.

Stevie J Has Woman Pleasure Him During A Live Interview; Internet Reacts In Shock

Stevie J is a wild boy.

During a discussion with Leah Henry for her show “Leah’s Lemonade,” the former Bad Boy producer had a woman pleasure him during a Zoom interview.

At the top of the clip, he says to an unnamed woman, “Aye Yo … can you suck me off?”

The woman must have checked him and asked if he was aware of what she was about to do while he was being interviewed live, and Stevie replied, “I know what I said.”

Leah Henry kept it professional and tried to push through the interview as the reality show star kept moaning in pleasure.

She said, “One of the things you said about your time on ‘Love and Hip Hop’ is ‘I’m gonna be me 100% of the time.”

Stevie smiles in the camera and then looks back at the girl pleasing him, just after Leah asks the ironic question.

People responded in disdain to Stevie J’s antics.

“Doing too much,” one person wrote.

Another person blasted him for being too old for these kinds of shenanigans.

“If this is true he has hit an all time low. Cmon now..at 21 years of age I get it. At damn near 50, nah fam…smh”

Some suggested that he was purposefully acting out because the journalist was a woman.

“Any other interview be wouldnt of done that. Respect goes a very long way. Stevie could of did the interview at a later time.”

On Twitter people were just as disgusted.

“Why are people even interviewing Stevie J in 2022?” one person asked.

https://twitter.com/qveenasiah/status/1502713129389772810?s=20&t=cT4d4-KKkOOiD_J7Scfavg

“That’s exactly why Stevie J is where he is in life cause he don’t take nothin serious,” another fumed.

Stevie J is currently going through a divorce with his estranged wife, Faith Evans. Stevie, born Stevie Jordan, accused Faith of infidelity and filed for divorce in November 2021.

He is trying to get spousal support from Faith, but the 48-year-old singer is fighting off the attempt as their divorce winds through the court system.

EXCLUSIVE: Tekashi 69 Struggling To Make Ends Meet And Lives In Fear Of His Life

Rap star Tekashi 69 is notorious for flaunting his pricey jewelry and expensive car collection, but now the rapper has financial problems.

The Brooklyn rapper’s deal with TenThousand Projects expired last month, and he has not released music since his home confinement in 2020.

Tekashi 69 still has a publishing deal, but his royalty account remains unrecouped due to the enormous advances he accepted, so he is not receiving any income from the agreement.

“Right now, I am struggling to make ends meet. I do not know if I will ever command the kind of advances I was paid before my arrest, and my career stalled,” Tekashi 69 revealed.

The COVID-19 pandemic ruined his lucrative touring career, which was a significant factor in generating income for the rapper. To make matters worse, Tekashi 69 said he has no concerts booked for 2022.

According to 69, the income that he does receive supports himself, his two infant children, and their mother, in addition to his mom and his brother.

The rapper made the shocking revelation in a sworn declaration to Judge John P. Cronan, who is trying to determine the amount of damages 69 may have to pay for his involvement in the robbery of two people on April 3rd, 2018.

Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier claim the rap star traumatized them and ruined their lives after members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods robbed the pair in a case of mistaken identity.

The rapper was a passenger in an SUV with Nine Trey members Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, and Denard “Drama” Butler held-up people they thought were affiliated with J. Prince’s Rap-a-Lot Records.

Tekashi 69 stayed behind and filmed the broad daylight larceny in midtown Manhattan. The rapper posted the footage to his Instagram account, and the clip immediately went viral.

Tekashi 69, Shotti, and Drama were eventually convicted of the robbery and other numerous charges for racketeering with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

Shotti was hit with a 15-year sentence, while Drama was ordered to serve five years in prison.

Tekashi 69 cooperated with the government and received a 2-year sentence. He was released early due to the coronavirus’s risks to his health since he has asthma.

The rapper could lose millions over the robbery.

Wonzer and Dozier claim they lost their careers due to the incident. The pair say they have suffered severe psychological damages at the hands of Tekashi 69 and the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

They also said they live in fear of Tekashi 69 and his former gang, although the rapper admitted to the judge that he shares the same concerns.

Tekashi 69 said he lives in fear of retaliation at the hands of scorned Nine Trey Gangsta Blood members every day.

Tekashi 69 said an unfavorable verdict could send him to the poor house.

“It will surely bankrupt me in a way from which I will never recover to the permanent detriment and hardship of the family members who rely upon me, Tekashi 69 said.

Nilla Allin’s Latest Project ‘Nilla’s Diary’ Is a Must Listen

Nilla Allin is an artist who exudes self-assurance and drive. The emerging MC from Los Angeles is on her way to taking over the rap world with her relatable, uplifting words and outstanding vocal delivery. Nilla has grown an organic and large following due to her top-tier comedic sketches on Tik Tok and lifestyle videos on her YouTube channel. As a kid, the blossoming artist wanted to refine her innate writing and storytelling abilities and apply them to her rap career. Nilla Allin is a multidimensional musician that excels at all she sets her mind to, as seen by her tracks “Gotta Run” and “On N Off,” which have accumulated over 1 million listens in her first year of creating music.

Nilla Allin’s latest project, “Nilla’s Diary,” aims to take her music into a realm of openness and deep feeling. The songs on this new album are based on genuine diary entries from her old college journal, and they explore the concept of love in friendships and relationships. Nilla makes honest music by speaking about real-life issues that the general public can connect to.

“Nilla’s Diary” is the most vulnerable project I’ve worked on thus far,” expressed Nilla in an interview. “I believe others will find this body of work relatable as each song triggers a different emotion (anger, embarrassment, confusion, and finally ending with love & happiness). This project is about coming to terms with certain situations and accepting them for what it is; it’s about letting go of toxic friendships and relationships that don’t add value to your life and finally allowing yourself to have your happy ending.”

Nilla also said that she’s motivated by musicians such as Eve, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Aaliyah, and Doja Cat to go “all in” with her music career, which she began during her senior year of college at UC San Diego. Nilla is actively working full-time in a corporate job while also writing music and creating social media content. Nilla’s ability to wear numerous hats while pursuing a music career demonstrates that she has no boundaries in her plans to achieve her objectives. The artist’s hustle is encouraging, but Nilla’s tunnel vision for her own advancement is also the fuel that will ensure her music career’s durability.

“I am passionate about putting my creative content into the world for others to be inspired and motivated by,” she says. “For me, the best part about making music is the lives that I’ve impacted. I love feeling connected to my fans. Knowing that I influence individuals through my art is what inspires me to keep making music.”

As Nilla Allin’s career progresses, keep an eye out for additional visuals and freestyles from the artist this year, as well as a possible summer single release. Nilla has officially taken off, and she has a message for her admirers about what they should take away from her latest endeavor “Nilla’s Diary”:

“With this release, I hope to bring attention to a couple of situations we go through as women but do not usually talk about,” Nilla continues. “I hope fans can listen to this project and feel more connected to me as an artist by letting them in on these situations I’ve gone through with toxic friends and men in my own life. I also hope this project inspires my fans to care for themselves and love themselves first before they can love someone else romantically.”

Quavo Shooting For Wesley Snipes’ Role In “White Men Can’t Jump” Reboot

Migos rap star Quavo is shooting his shot to land a role in the upcoming remake of “White Men Can’t Jump.”

Fellow rapper Jack Harlow has been tapped to play the character of Billy Hoyle, initially played by Woody Harrelson.

During an interview with TMZ, Quavo said he would love to play Sidney Deane; a role made famous by legendary actor Wesley Snipes.

“I think they need to call me, so me and Jack Harlow can do it,” Quavo said. “I need to play Wesley Snipes’ role.”

Unlike Jack Harlow, who will be making his film debut, Quavo already has prominent roles under his belt.

The Atlanta rapper starred opposite Robert de Niro in the movie “Wash Me In The River.”

He even performed his own stunts. Quavo has also had minor roles in TV shows like “Atlanta,” “Narcos: Mexico,” “Black-ish.”

The original version of “White Men Can’t Jump” centered around two hustlers who team up to make some money playing street basketball.

The reboot of the classic is being penned by “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris, who will also serve as producer of the flick, along with Brooklyn Nets forward Blake Griffin and former NFL lineman Ryan Kalil.

So far, there is no word as to who will be cast as Gloria Clemente, whom sultry screen siren Rosie Perez originally played.

Nick Cannon Is Sad His “Dream” Talk Show Was Canceled

Nick Cannon has called his talk show “a dream come true” following the revelation that it is being cancelled after one season.

On Thursday, it was announced that The Nick Cannon Show is being axed after one series and is expected to come to an end around May.

During a recent episode of the show, the “Wild ‘N Out” host admitted he was sad about the news but understood the decision from a business viewpoint.

“This is show business, right? And we know the biggest word in that is ‘business’, and this is a business,” he said. “As a businessman, I know that as much fun as we have on the show, business is the thing that makes this whole thing tick and operate.

“Honestly, I show up each and every day bright and early to give you a show, but I’m also a businessman, and you understand when there’s certain forms and certain platforms. This has been a dream come true for me to be able to do this for you each and every day, but my business mind, I want to expand and elevate in a way.”

The 41-year-old praised the crew, calling them “the best I’ve ever dealt with” and his “family” and assured viewers that the show isn’t “going nowhere” and there will be more episodes before it ends.

“It’s truly been a blessing and this has been a dream come true and thank you all for allowing me to have my dreams and come into your home,” he concluded.

According to Deadline, ‘The Nick Cannon Show,” which premiered in September, suffered from poor ratings and was the lowest-rated single-host daytime syndicated talk show this season.

Kranium Talks “WI DEH YAH,” Going On Tour With Tory Lanez & The Evolution of Dancehall

Kranium is here to make sure dancehall music remains at the forefront of the music industry, releasing banger after banger while putting on for the genre in the most positive light possible.

Boasting an international presence and fanbase, the New York-based recording artist carries the nickname “Melody Gad,” which speaks volumes to the type of music he creates.

Moving to New York would be the gamechanger for Karnium, as he linked with uncle and mentor Screwdriver who took him under his wings. Soon, he would sign to Atlantic Records, joining the likes of Sean Paul, Wayne Wonder and Baby Cham to name a few and paving the way for a new generation of reggae artists to follow suit. To date, his standout singles do outstanding numbers, from “Gyal Policy” to “Can’t Believe It” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Wizkid.

Fast forward to today, Kranium returns with his newest effort titled “WI DEH YAH,” a Jamaican chant that translates to “we’ve arrived!” The record is paired with a cinematic visual shot in Miami, Florida where he resides, as he celebrates summertime in the spring.

AllHipHop: How you been since the last time we chatted?

Kranium: I can’t complain. Everything’s fine, just have lots of reorganizing and trying to figure out this record since it dropped.

AllHipHop: New single “WI DEH YAH” out now, how are you feeling?

Kranium: I’m feeling good. You know dancehall records are not like other records. They have to break in the streets. DJ’s playing it in the clubs, parties, and streets to where it becomes a movement.

AllHipHop: Talk about what that phrase means for you, for Jamaica?

Kranium: Yeah, WI DEH YAH more like I’m in the building! We’ve arrived. It could be you’re going somewhere, someone asks “where you at?” WI DEH YAH, I’m outside. It could mean that you reached a specific destination. It can mean that you’re actually pulling up to a destination. Any context, it’s good.

AllHipHop: What inspired the original melody?

Kranium: The crazy thing is I normally freestyle melodies that I feel in the studio. I went in the studio, I heard the beat and the first thing that came to mind was happy, party vibes. That vibe of celebrating. That really inspired where I took the record to.

AllHipHop: What inspired the verse or hook? Could you break it down for us?

Kranium: I was in there hyped. I wanted something uptempo and vibrant. I wanted to have something not too hard, but more of a catchy hook. Not saying much, but saying much if that makes sense. I wanted a vibe. For me, I don’t really write records. I freestyle all the records. The inspiration comes from me just hearing the beat and wanting more tempo. Obviously, it’s a sample by “Start It Up” by Alex Mali. The crazy thing is when I got the beat and heard it, I never heard the actual sample. I went to listen to the song after I heard the beat. The beat was given to me by Non Native and Bordeaux. I just felt drawn to it. We did 5 records, I was just drawn to that song without hearing the sample in it. It was crazy.

AllHipHop: When you made it, were you like “this is the one”?

Kranium: Yeah, this is a vibe. You can’t beat it. Once you hear it, it touches your soul. That’s what I love about the “WI DEH YAH” record.

AllHipHop: Why did you choose to release this as your first record of the year?

Kranium: Honestly, I wanted to do something different. A lot of artists tend to drop songs closer to summer, with a summer vibe. I wanted the upperhand of dropping more uptempo records. Not too close to summer, but close enough where by the time it gets to Spring, it gets hot. I wanted to have at least 3 months prior to work the record to get it to where it needs to be. Remember in America, dancehall music isn’t a priority, it’s a flavor. To get the flavor, you need to take your time to get the spice to really catch on. I wanted to make sure we give enough time.

AllHipHop: Last time I interviewed you, you said Dancehall is a very unique genre, especially signing to Atlantic. You mention how Sean Paul was one of the first to sign, how has he influenced you?

Kranium: Sean Paul has influenced me a lot. I grew up in New York City and on MTV and BET, that’s all we would see. For me, seeing Sean Paul was the inspiration I needed. Dancehall is a very unique genre. Not everybody gets it. But when you do you can’t stop. That’s what I love about it. My inspiration comes from hearing other dancehall records that came up before me.

AllHipHop: Talk about influencing this new wave of artists, and how it feels to be impacting the current sound.

Kranium: It feels good. Amazing. But I don’t think about it like that. When I’m old like 60 or 65, in my old days, I’ll think about all the influence I’ve transferred. I see myself as an upcoming artist. I keep my mind focused on what else can I sing that people will really like? I don’t really think about the influence and who likes me as an artist, I just do what I think I need to do to keep the vibe alive.

AllHipHop: How was it shooting the music video? I know it co-stars Tanto Blacks.

Kranium: It was good because Tanto Blacks is somebody who’s always watching vibes. He’s a vibey guy full of energy. The video definitely captured our personalities, the whole dancehall scene. If you watch a dancehall video, that’s what it’s like. The vibes are fire, the girls are all over the place. Dancehall is raw, and that video is very raw. That’s why people like it so much.

AllHipHop: What was the best memory and where did you shoot it at?

Kranium: I shot it in Miami. The best memory was me riding the motorcycle. The guy who came with the motorcycle asked “can you ride a bike?” Bro, I own bikes. [laughs] He was so scared thinking I’d fall. It was dope. I was shocked how many girls on set were fans of my music. One girl was showing me her playlist that’s straight Kranium. It was a great feeling. We just had so many different nationalities there.

AllHipHop: How excited are you to tour “WI DEH YAH”?

Kranium: I’m very excited about the tour. Touring is where I get to express myself on stage and have fun. A lot of people are always shocked at how I can actually sing. Because I don’t really sing on records, I flow. People come to the show and see I have an acoustic vibe. It’s an experience. There’s a bunch of women on stage dancing, all types of craziness. I can’t wait to see the people, go to the parties and afterparties. Everything that comes with it, I love it.

AllHipHop: What state are you most excited to perform in?

Kranium: It’s always good to perform at home: New York City. That’s home. You get to invite your family. Ain’t nothing better than being on stage with your family in the audience. Boston also holds a special place in my heart. Boston is where i had my first sold out show.

AllHipHop: What’s your favorite song to perform?

Kranium: It depends what market I’m in. If I’m in Africa, “Can’t Believe.” If I’m in Europe, “We Can.” In Canada, “Stamina.” Obviously “Nobody Has To Know” is always going to be classic for a lot of people.

AllHipHop: How does it feel to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Toxic?

Kranium: It’s a good feeling! Not a lot of artists get the opportunity to represent their culture in the height of a pandemic. “Gal Policy” was such a huge record in the core. Whoa I literally had a hit song in the midst of the world shutting down.

AllHipHop: What are those convos with Beres Hammond?

Kranium: Beres Hammond and I a lot of conversations. We talked about crossover music. I said “I don’t think there’s such thing as crossover music. There’s no such thing as a dancehall crossover artist. I think it’s a myth people created, it’ll never happen.” Crossover is not necessarily a song you see, a type of song you hear. It’s just a great record that people love. There’s no blueprint. Sean Paul’s “I’m Still In Love With You,” all of these are big records across the world created in the small island of Jamaica. That’s what we talked about.

AllHipHop: What are you most excited for next?

Kranium: I’m excited to tour different cities and touch the people and fans. Watch how much I’ve grown. Happy to see people sing some of the songs word for word. I was working on my album for a while, I took a lot of time to really lock in. I’m most excited about tour with my friends. That’s most important, just sharing memories that can last forever. I love driving in America, that’s one of my favorite things. I drive to Florida and back to New York sometimes.

AllHipHop: How long is that drive?!

Kranium: 17 hours. I like driving. I love driving in America. I did it before I went on a tour with Tory Lanez. In 2016, we did 80 shows and 40 cities.

AllHipHop: How was touring with Tory Lanez?

Kranium: It was the most amazing thing. I met some good friends. It was me, Tory Lanez, Jacqueez, A Boogie was on for a minute, Taylor Bennett. Everyone on that tour turned out to have their own career. That tour had a lot of stops. I met a lot of rappers, the first time I seen everybody. The biggest memory on the tour was: “that girl is a real crowd pleaser.” Swae Lee “Black Beatles,” everyone was freezing. I watched the man perform and the whole entire crowd froze. I saw Ty$ perform, you know me and Ty$ go way back.

AllHipHop: I was gonna say, your video with Ty$ has crazy numbers!

Kranium: Yeah, a lot. Two of them, one was 92 million views and the other was 107 million views. That’s why I create music and don’t care about nothing else on the side. You lock in and just have fun. I love music, I don’t really think about anything else. I think about glory after. If it comes, it comes. Because if you do something, you’ll get what you deserve from it. I just try to keep my mind focused.

AllHipHop: Do you have any goals for yourself?

Kranium: I feel that goals are a myth that people create in their brains. I do everything to the best of my ability for what I want. If I get it, then that’s it. That’s how I look at it. I’m not trying to set no long -term goals, I just do exactly what I think need to be done. Whatever I get from being great at what I’m doing, I accept it.

AllHipHop: Do you have advice for someone who wants to do what you want to do?

Kranium: Not to many people care about the artist, but everyone cares about a hit song. Don’t let the song be your sound, people love it more that way. I feel some artists are mistaken: they make the first song bigger than who they are themselves. They don’t love “Nobody Has To Know” or “Gal Policy,” they love Kranium too. The beauty of what they appreciate from your record is you as a person. Be the sound, don’t let the song be you.

Jussie Smollett In Protective Custody For His Own Good After Outburst In Court

Jussie Smollett will be in protective custody during his time in jail.

A judge sentenced Jussie Smollett to 150 days behind bars on Thursday (March 10). The Empire actor received jail time for lying to police about a fake hate crime.

Jussie Smollett is serving his sentence at the Cook County Jail in Chicago. The Cook County Sheriff’s Office said solitary confinement was abolished at the jail in 2016.

“Mr. Smollett is being housed in his own cell, which is monitored by security cameras in the cell and by an officer wearing a body-worn camera who is stationed at the entrance of the cell to ensure that Mr. Smollett is under direct observation at all times,” the Cook County Sheriff’s Office noted in a press statement.

Other inmates won’t be allowed in the jail’s common areas when Jussie Smollett is out of his cell.

“These protocols are routinely used for individuals ordered into protective custody who may potentially be at risk of harm due to the nature of their charges, their profession or their noteworthy status,” the Cook County Sheriff’s Office explained.

Jussie Smollett maintained his innocence during an outburst at his sentencing. He also insisted he’s not suicidal.

“I did not do this, and I am not suicidal,” he said at the hearing. “If anything happens to me when I go in there, I did not do it to myself, and you must all know that.”

50 Cent Puts Serious Pressure On Teairra Mari Over $50,000 Debt

50 Cent continues to pursue a debt owed to him by Teairra Mari.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, 50 Cent asked a judge to find Mari in contempt for not turning over her financial records. The outspoken rapper has been trying to collect a $50,000 debt after Mari lost a revenge p### lawsuit against him.

Mari sued the Power executive producer and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad, who posted an explicit photo of her on social media. 50 Cent reposted the image on Instagram, but a judge dismissed the case against him.

50 Cent initially received a $30,000 judgment to cover his lawyer fees in 2019. The debt increased over the years as Mari never paid up and avoided disclosing her finances.

She even released a diss song to 50 called “I Aint Got It” in April of 2019.

“[Mari] has been the subject of repeated sanctions by this Court but has been seemingly unswayed by such actions and has not paid any money towards the Judgment or sanctions against her, making the increased penalties associated with a finding of contempt necessary,” the G-Unit artist argued in a court filing.

50 Cent wants Mari to be found in contempt and seeks an additional $5,235 to cover his legal fees. He will now wait for a judge to make a ruling about his request.

In the midst of exploring Rap’s ramifications, Nicki and Joe, examine the idea of Hip-Hop’s use of poetic license. So, as the conversation continues, the notorious narrator tackles the challenging notion. To clarify, she speaks on then genre’s unspoken suggestion of “keeping it real.”

Surprisingly, this is when the “Do We Have A Problem?” lyricist brings up Future’s name. In particular, the accompanying anecdote includes a particular situation with The ATLien. Certainly, Nicki Minaj gets blown away.

“I remember I had a conversation with Future in the studio one time,” Barbie states, “and he said something I’ll never forget, and he laughed while he said it.” A resigned nostalgia wraps her words, then she shares “He was like, ‘Yeah, you know, people be thinking I’m really doing a lot of drugs because I rap about it all the time. But, they don’t even be knowing I’m a lightweight.’”

With this in mind, the “Bussin” wordsmith reacts, “I said, ‘Errr?’ in my head because there are a lot of people that are huge Future fans, for instance. And that’s how they’re going to feel closer to him because they’re doing what they’re hearing him rap about not knowing that he’s not like that.”

All things considered, is Hip-Hop simply a musical genre or an ever-evolving culture? Overall, what is expected from its contributors?

‘Not Gangsta’: Cardi B Addresses A Video Of Texas Middle School Students Assaulting Their Teacher

There is a difference between the Bronx bombshell Cardi B who canvases the radio with hit songs like “Up” or “WAP” and seems to be about that life … and Belcalis Almanzar, who is the mother of two.

Cardi, who has a three-year-old Kulture and a six-month young son, is not with the madness.

After seeing the video of Texas middle school students bloodying the forehead of a substitute teacher by bashing him with a metal chair on Wednesday, March 2nd, the rapper took to social media to let the kids know that their actions were “not gangsta.”

She tweeted, “Disgusting this generation is really lost … I went to school wit a lot of gangstas and no matter what they never put their hands on a teacher.”‘

The students are now internet famous after a clip has gone viral of them assaulting their teacher during a school day at the DeSoto West middle school, located in a suburb near the City of Dallas.

After the altercation, the school canceled classes. Teachers still came to work to talk about the school’s new security policy to better protect the workers and students at the school.

The district issued a news release to announce the new changes.

“DeSoto ISD is intent on re-establishing a culture and climate that emphasizes safety, security, and educational excellence,” it read in part.

The change and new training on responding to these cases are needed.

After being struck by the chair, the teacher started throwing chairs himself — reacting to the violence he had experienced from the students.

“Kids this is not respected, not cool, not funny, not tough, not gangsta …. it’s giving y’all p—y,” her tweet concluded.

KXNG Crooked Airs Out Why Slaughterhouse Broke Up!

Usually, the best information comes directly from the source. With that, KXNG Crooked airs out why he believes Slaughterhouse broke up. Of course, he does not mince words.

First off, perception shapes reality. Needless to say, following Slaughterhouse’s disbanding, the Long Beach wordsmith candidly shares his thoughts. Above all, the Hip-Hop supergroup was composed of highly skilled artists with blunt personalities.

Be that as it may, somehow the talented group splintered. “I finally had to accept that this is over,” states the respected rapper. Moreover, he adds, “I finally had to accept that, you know, this is over. ” Next, he offers, “I need to close the chapter on this in my life, because it’s bringing me low vibes.”

Regardless, of the past shenanigans, Crooked Intriago is constantly evolving. Perhaps, that’s why he and Joell Ortiz have reconnected. Together, the duo wax poetically on their joint project, Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse.

Generally speaking, the illustrious MC thoroughly opens about why Slaughterhouse split up. “I brought a situation to the table, I gave it one last shot … one more time, here’s a great deal fellows, we can put the music out through system that has nothing to do with the Universal system,” he reveals.

In addition, KXNG Crooked explains why he was working to go around Universal. In fact, this is “because that’s where all the people who were opposing Joe were, they were in the Universal.  So here’s another system,” he confides.  “They can’t block you.  They can’t hate on you.  Here’s the deal, it’s negotiable give me a call.  Everybody calls me but Joe,” bittersweet nostalgia wraps his words

Finally, the Eastside lyricist breaks it down, “Joe said he don’t want to do the deal. So I said Joe call me and tell me what you want … he never called me.  Weeks and weeks and months went by and the deal just disappears.”

Now, is the time to check out the creative evolution of KXNG Crooked.

Jussie Smollett Deserved Every Bit Of Jail Time According To Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot

Jussie Smollett was sentenced to 150 days of jail time and 30 months probation for staging a fake hate crime on Thursday.

Back in December, the “Empire” star was found guilty on five counts of felony disorderly conduct for lying to police about a racist and homophobic attack he staged on himself in Chicago in January 2019.

Jussie Smollett faced up to three years in prison for each charge but did not receive maximum sentencing on Thursday due to his lack of previous criminal record.

Smollett must pay $120,106 in restitution and a $25,000 fine along with the jail time.

When the sentence was handed down, Jussie repeatedly said that he was “not suicidal” and “was innocent.” Video footage from the hearing also shows him telling the judge, “Your honor, I respect you, and I respect the jury, but I did not do this, and I am not suicidal, and if anything happens to me when I go in there, I did not do it to myself, you must all know that.”

Special prosecutor Dan Webb recommended prison time, accusing Smollett of “knowingly” denigrating “true hate crimes” and refusing to show “a single act of contrition.”

Defense lawyer Nenye Uche called Webb’s recommendations “overkill, beating a dead horse” and described them as “retribution” instead of justice.

However, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot disagreed and scolded Jussie after his courtroom antics. According to Mayor Lightfoot, Jussie got precisely what he deserved.

The 39-year-old’s legal team plan to appeal the sentence.
