Bobby Shmurda organized a special Father’s Day for 200 underprivileged families in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York. The event was attended mostly by fathers and their children.

The families present at Brooklyn’s The Win Shelter were served a Caribbean meal. The brunch menu included jerk salmon, curried chickpeas, stew chicken, mac and cheese, and other options.

The kids were also gifted gaming consoles, board games, action figures, footballs, jump ropes, princess-themed costumes, and other items. The fathers were given new T-shirts, underwear, socks, books, and more.

In addition, Bobby Shmurda also brought in three barbers to provide free haircuts to the dads and their children. Bobby also personally delivered and served leftover food from The Win Shelter event to the CAMBA Men’s Shelter in Brooklyn.

Bobby Shmurda (born Ackquille Jean Pollard) was released from prison in February after being incarcerated for over six years. His hit 2014 single “Hot N####” earned 5x-Platinum certification on the same day he was set free.

“I’m done with that [jail] s###,” said Bobby Shmurda back in February. “I’ll be light-skinned in Jamaica before I go back.”

“The Police Just Tried to Kill Us!” Nu Jerzey Twork Goes Lives and Puts Officer on Camera

Top Tier battle rapper Nu Jerzey Twork took to social media on Father’s Day to show his supporters the damage to his vehicle after police officers shot at him and his friends. In the background of his IG Live, fans could hear his associate asking to be read his rights before being handcuffed … and the officers refusing to honor his request.

The video starts with the New Jersey artist in the front seat of his car, shouting, “The police just tried to kill us!”

He eventually gets out of the car and that’s when his friend seems to be getting arrested. He takes the viewers on a tour of the scene and puts the camera on the officer that he believes shot at the back window of his vehicle. You can see the cracked glass and can hear the terror of being illegally stopped or shot at in his voice.

Despite his outrage, he is adamant to let the people know of the injustice — presumably perpetrated because he is Black, young, and looking like new money.

“The police just gotta kill us,” he shared. “That’s why so many innocent Black motherf**kers are dying today. Man, f**k the police.”

Then you hear a voice, maybe of another officer (though they say that he isn’t on the tape), confronting them about the incident. Still, Twork remains calm.  Tosses a cigarette in his mouth to keep his cool — and lays out his case for harassment.

He ended his live with a famous quote from N.W.A., “F**k the Police.

Fans erupted on Twitter after seeing the video, many mentioning that they were happy that he made it out alive.

Nu Jerzey Twork is a roster battler at the Ultimate Rap League and has been associated with The Goonies and NWX. Last year, he was in a car accident that left him pretty banged up. He is recovering. This harassment is not helping with his optimal healing. But that’s why he is nipping it in the bud. Check out his convo with Ooops, former Missouri Congressman, and Oscar-nominated icon.

Dennis Graham is a noted musician and singer, who plays multiple instruments. He and his superstar son are also connected to music royalty by blood as well.

His uncle is Willie Mitchell, the legendary Memphis-based music producer who churned out hits for Al Green, Syl Johnson, O.V. Wright, and others. Early in his career, Dennis also reportedly played the drums for famed Rock & Roll singer Jerry Lee Lewis.

“There’s nothing in life, nothing under the sun that can come between the love of a father and son/they’ll always walk together, walk together as one/ they’ll always be there like father and son,” Dennis croons during the song.

DMX’s Children Fight For Control Of Late Rapper”s Lucrative Estate

A battle for control of the estate of late rapper DMX is brewing – and it’s going to be complicated, to say the least.

According to reports, at least five of DMX’s 14 children are petitioning a court to be named administrator of DMX’s estate. Sources said DMX, who died of a drug overdose in April, passed away without a will.

Shortly after his death three of his sons – Xavier, 28, Tacoma, 21, and Sean, 19 – asked the court to put them in control of the estate.

The rap star’s two daughters Sasha Simmons and Jada Oden also lawyered up in an attempt to gain control of their father’s lucrative estate.

To complicate the matters, his fiance of 5 years, Desiree Lindstrom, tried – and failed to be named executor of DMX’s estate, but a judge shot her down her attempt to be named his common-law wife.

Whoever gains control of DMX’s estate will have their hands full.

Kanye West helped raise millions for DMX’s family after his death on April 9, of a drug overdose.

Ye oversaw the design of a one-of-a-kind Balenciaga t-shirt, which sold out instantly.

Also, DMX’s streams shot up almost 1,000% following his tragic passing, answers posthumous album Exodus landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard 100 chart when it was released at the end of May.

But, Uncle Sam is still after DMX even in death.

The rapper, born Earl Simmons, owed $663,554.55 in back taxes, and the government It’s attempting to put a lien on his assets.

AllHipHop’s Incredible “Hip-Pop Day” With Dads From All Walks Of Life…And Their Kids!

Let’s be real, Black fathers have consistently gotten a bad rap from all angles. Whether it is Hip-Hop music, the media and entertainment, our partners or ourselves, we have taken blow after blow. We know now that Black fathers are more involved in their children’s lives than any other racial demographics. And that is the CDC, a governmental institution, Not Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. But it just seems like there is a societal bias against Black fathers, even though there are numerous movements that uphold the traditional, and progressive fatherhood stances that are necessary to move our culture forward.

AllHipHop joined forces with iconic, legendary photographer Ronnie Wright to capture numerous and varied images of black men and their children. This was not limited to rappers/entertainers but included writers, businessman, professionals and others that represent the vast, varied, and colorful spectrum that Black men in compass as good fathers. Furthermore, in the esteemed WonWorld Studios, we also conducted several interviews with the men and their kids. Some of these include Kangol kid of UTFO fame, legend scribe Jerry L. Barrow, actor/artist Jamar Greene, Beyoncé’s DJ Diamond The Artist, Derek Phillips of the Real Dad’s Network, and Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur, AllHipHop co-founder and CEO.

The inaugural AllHipHop Hip-Pop photoshoot was a unique, positive and unique experience that spoke to the divine responsibilities men have in this world. At times it seems like the world attempts to minimize the roles that the father has in his child’s life, but we feel that the role is the celestial balance that is necessary.

This is not to say that men are perfect, because we certainly have our challenges in front of us. Furthermore, it is understandable that we have not always held our end of the bargain when it came to serving our communities. But it also speaks to the seemingly insurmountable odds that we have faced since arriving on the shores of North America some 500 years ago.

These challenges have not stopped any of the men included in this photo shoot. In fact, the challenges have forced us to level up even more and demonstrate even more dedication to our children and collective village. So, when things don’t work out with the mothers, or in life such as business or professions, we continue on with our responsibilities. Hopefully, in the future, we as a society and as a culture explicitly say: it needs its men and begin to focus on a positive approach to encouraging fathers to be just that.

Dr. Dre And Allen Hughes Finally Bringing Marvin Gaye’s Story To Life

For years, Dr. Dre has been rumored to produce a biopic on Marvin Gaye.

Well, fans can rejoice as Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to the film that is called, “What’s Going On” and will bringing the life story of this iconic singer to the big screen.

Variety reports that The Chronic artist is teaming up with Jimmy Iovine and Andrew Lazar to produce the film.

Warner Bros. acquired Marcus Gardley’s script for over $80 million and worked with Gaye estate and Motown records to ensure that his music appears in the movie.

He has also tapped Allen Hughes to direct. Hughes is ecstatic. He commented, “Every film of mine…had some Marvin Gaye in it, and I’ve just always connected to him.”

The “Menace II Society” producer continued, “This is so personal for me.”

“When I made my first film with my brother, we were fortunate to get ‘What’s Going On’ into the trailer for ‘Menace II Society’, and it was a game-changer in elevating the marketing of that film. Every film of mine but the period film ‘From Hell’ had some Marvin Gaye in it, and I’ve just always connected to him.”

Gaining the rights to have the music such as “What’s Going On,” “Sexual Healing” and “Let’s Get It On” in the film is an epic coup for the studio.

Tragically, Gaye was shot and killed by his father a day before his birthday at the age of 44 on April 1 in 1984.

Many have tried to bring this story to the big screen but have not been successful. The family has rejected the pitches of moviemakers like F. Gary Gray, Cameron Crowe, James Gandolfini, Scott Rudin, Jesse L. Martin, and even Lenny Kravitz.

Another win for Dre.

Juneteenth Explodes Into War Between DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion And Pardison Fontaine

Juneteenth is supposed to be a holiday celebrating freedom, and the growth of the African-American community. Unfortunately, unity is not something DaBaby, Meg and Pardison Fontaine are interested in today (June 19).

The problems started after DaBaby was accused of re-tweeting a message making fun of Megan, who was shot in the feet, allegedly by Tory Lanez, on July 12, 2020 after a party in the Hollywood Hills.

DaBaby tried to deny re-tweeting the message. He blamed Twitter and tried his best to diffuse the situation after fans started tagging him and dragging him.

Earlier this week, Megan Thee Stallion unfollowed DaBaby After Tory Lanez dropped a video their collaborative single, “SKAT.”

Tonight, Megan indirectly accused DaBaby of supporting her in private, but doing something different in public, in an apparent reference to the DaBaby and Tory Lanez’s collaborative track.

Tory Lanez is still awaiting trial for allegedly shooting Megan in the feet. He is currently free on $190,000 bail and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

“This situation ain’t no damn “beef” and I really wish people would stop down playing it like it’s some internet s### for likes and retweets,” Megan ironically wrote on Twitter.

“Justice is slow… As we’ve all seen… Back to my good day,” Megan added.

DaBaby wasted no time replying, and denied he was an “industry n####.”

“You done let these folks get the best of you thug. ion got no bad energy for ya,” DaBaby said in an attempt to diffuse the situation, saying he had nothing to do with the situation between Tory and Megan.

Megan was quick with a clap back:

“My stance isn’t changed at all YOURS has. We already spoke abt This in private and you specifically said ‘that ain’t even no good business move why would I promote that s###’ but now this ain’t your “beef”? That ain’t real. But you stay on ya “business” my G,” Megan snapped back.

Pardison Fontaine seemed to get into the mix after DaBaby referred to Megan as a “b####” in a follow-up tweet.

“Ion Even go back and forth with my own b###### on the net now I’m on dis MF goin back n forth w/another n#### woman about some s### another n#### accused of 😂. How TF dat work?” DaBaby said.

Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine have been dating since February. The rapper, who co-wrote Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” and has collaborated with Kanye West, Ed Sheeran and others, chimed in to defend Megan.

“You a clown ass n#### doin clown ass s### then tryin to back pedal…n#### that’s what it is…u don’t ever got to address her again,” Pardison Fontaine told DaBaby.

“This matter ain’t about no public opinion or internet beef…so a n#### let a lot of that weak s### slide…,” Pardison Fontaine added.

“You must not know bout new,” DaBaby shot back.

On his next tweet, Pardison Fontaine went at Tory Lanez directly.

“YOU N##### IS CORNY alotta women is corny. ANY N#### THAT SHOOTS A WOMAN IS P#### ANY N#### THAT SIDES WITH IT CONDONES IT AFFILIATES THEY SELF WITH STANDS BESIDE THAT TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS A B#### ANY WOMAN THAT SUPPORTS IT FOR ANY REASON IS A (sic) F###### SAD BITTER OR CONFUSED,” Pardison Fontaine fumed.

Twitter exploded due to the irony of the beef breaking out on a day African Americans are celebrating. Take a look at some of the replies:

Tiffany Haddish Starring In Hip-Hop Dance Dramedy “Throw It Back”

Tiffany Haddish and young star Shahadi Wright Joseph are set to star in a new musical dance dramedy called, Throw It Back.

Haddish will be number two to Wright Joseph, a Brooklyn starlet, who has been slaying the game with movies like “Us,” “The Lion King,” and “Them.”

And this will be the first film where Joseph takes the lead.

The story is about a shy high school senior named Wytrell who blows up after a big rap star from Miami comes through and offers the school’s dance team a spot in his new music video.

The journey to get to the top is crazy as she has to push dance-battle-after-dance-battle to gain her spot.

According to Deadline, the soundtrack will have Southern Hip-Hop songs and classic Black college bands playing signature songs.

The Hollywood trade publication also reports that Shadae Lamar Smith, who has made a career as a music video director for Will.i.am, will direct the film.

It will be her directorial debut. It is also her debut as a screenwriter. She wrote the film with Rochée Jeffrey, a 2021 Film Independent Screenwriting Fellow.

Shahadi Wright Joseph was born a star and possibly born for this role. Both of the parents of this Forbes 30 under 30er are dance teachers.

She and her sister, Sundari, have been dancing (African, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Ballet) since they could walk. Her sister just got accepted into the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and will start in Fall 2021.

Lil Baby Buys Out Footlocker And Gives Everything Away

Lil Baby went to a local Atlanta footlocker and bought the whole store out.

A video has gone viral with the Quality Control artist coming out the retail chain with hundreds of black and white-striped Footlocker bags. But this was not just a luxury shopping spree for him, his girl, and his crew, LB snatched up all the sneakers to give back to his community.

“That was some s### I did cause I seen a lot of them had on flip flops. When I say save community I mean centers, programs, jobs. You can’t imagine the the s### I don’t post,” Lil Baby said.

Whether this was a powerful punctuation on economic justice for the first national recognition of Juneteenth (a redistribution of commercial wares, denied to a few who cannot afford minor luxuries) or a dope gesture to support dads on Father’s Day, the “The Bruised Up” rapper used his own money and creativity stepped to help those in need.

This isn’t new for the chart-topper.

Less than a year ago, he made a post on Twitter stating that he wanted to use his earnings from his hit song “A Bigger Picture” to make a difference and had over a million dollars to donate to communities in need.

“I got 1.5 million dollars to donate off of “Bigger Picture “ I want the money to go we’re it’s needed.”

Keep up the good work.

“I don’t want to donate to just any organization, but I will be letting my fans kno exactly we’re the money goes”

“Lawyers ,Bonds , Play Grounds , Jobs , youth activities , things that WE can really benefit off of.”

Drake Claims Beaten Man At Hollywood Nightclub Deleted Evidence That Could Have Exonerated Rapper

Chart-topping rapper Drake is asking a California judge to sanction a man who tried to sue him over an alleged assault in a Hollywood nightclub.

According to court documents, Drake and his legal team believe that Bennett Sipes willfully destroyed evidence that might exonerate him of the crime that allegedly happened two years ago. They are asking that the sanction totals $85,582.

Apparently, when Sipes came into the Delilah nightclub that night, no one told him that Drake was the Champagne Papi. Once in the club, on March 24, 2018, he noticed that his then-girlfriend, Sommer Ray, was in the VIP area with Drake and Odell Beckham Jr. and he got embarrassed.

He made a scene in the exclusive area of the club — but to no avail. Shorty stayed with the superstars. Sipes claims that he left, went to the bathroom. Originally, the scorned lover stated that Drake’s security followed him and beat him up. He later recanted that allegation.

The “Hotline Bling” rapper, of course, denied this stating, none of his “employees pushed, manhandled, shoved, kicked, punched, assaulted, or battered Sipes.”

To further prove that he didn’t set homie up, the Young Money rapper said that Sipes has or had text messages that cleared him and his team of any wrongdoing. This could be key evidence.

According to Radar Online, Drake’s defense team said these “deleted messages” would exonerate him. And further show that Sipes was chilling, and this was a money grab.

The motion reads, “The texts and emails that were intentionally destroyed go to the very heart of Sipes’s case, and almost certainly include damning admissions.”

Sipes did get into a fight that night.

It was with Younes Bendjima, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex. Bendjima maintains this fight was in self-defense.

Roc-A-Fella Lawyer Calls Co-Founder Damon Dash A Thief; Sues For Trying To Sell Jay-Z Classic As An NFT

The cold war between Roc-A-Fella founders Jay-Z and Damon Dash is about to heat up – or maybe explode. Roc-A-Fella is suing Damon Dash, who co-founded the label with Jay-Z and Kareem “Biggs” Burke.

The legal beef stems around Damon Dash’s attempts to mint Jay-Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt, as an NFT. Dame already had one auction planned but it was canceled.

Roc-A-Fella’s lawyer Alex Spiro marched into court and sued Damon today (June 18), claiming he is probably planning another auction, and they want to put a halt to it right away.

“The clock is ticking. Dash had planned to sell at a SuperFarm Foundation online auction on June 23, 2021, the copyright to Jay-Z’s debut album Reasonable Doubt, recognized as one of the greatest recordings in history. That auction was cancelled, and Dash is currently frantically scouting for another venue to make the sale. It’s not a matter of if, only when,” Sprio said. “But Dash does not even own Reasonable Doubt or its copyright and, therefore, has no right to sell the album or any rights to it. Instead, RAF, Inc. owns all rights to Reasonable Doubt. The sale of this irreplaceable asset must be stopped before it is too late, and Dash must be held accountable for his theft.”

Roc-A-Fella’s lawsuit against its own founder claims Reasonable Doubt is not Damon’s to mint and sell as an NFT.

It’s interesting because Damon Dash has said in multiple interviews that he still owns a portion of the masters to Reasonable Doubt. The release is Jay-Z’s classic debut album, which was released on June 25, 1996.

In 2004, after almost 10 years in business, Jay-Z, Damon, and Biggs sold the remaining 50% of Roc-A-Fella to Def Jam for $10 million.

That same year, Jay-Z was named President of Def Jam Records. In 2008, Jay-Z reportedly bought himself out of his contract with Def Jam for $5 million to start Roc Nation.

Jay-Z owns all of his masters except for Reasonable Doubt, which he co-owns with his former partners.

“Dash’s status a minority shareholder in RAF, Inc., gives him no right to sell a company asset,” Spiro added. “The bottom line is simple: Dash can’t sell what he doesn’t own. By attempting such a sale, Dash has converted a corporate asset and has breached his fiduciary duties. His planned auction of Reasonable Doubt would result in irreparable harm. The Court should stop Dash from attempting to sell the copyright to Reasonable Doubt, require Dash to return the NFT of Reasonable Doubt to RAF, Inc., and hold him accountable for this brazen theft of RAF, Inc.’s most prized asset.”

In previous interviews, Jay stated he was willing to give up everything – all of his masters – his stake in Roc-A-Fella, and his position at Def Jam – to be the sole owner of Reasonable Doubt, which he dubbed his “baby.”

Roc-A-Fella is asking a judge to grant a temporary restraining order against Damon as the court battle begins.

Wiz Khalifa To Flex His Acting Skills With Role As George Clinton In Movie “Spinning Gold”

Wiz Khalifa is what people call an entertainment “multi-hyphenate” and triple threat. He can rap, he is a producer and now he can add actor to his repertoire.

The rapper will soon be showcasing his acting skills in a movie that deep dives into the life of Neil Bogart, the founder of Casablanca Records.

The Pittsburg emcee will play the role of George Clinton, the Parliament leader that took funk music to the next level, in a new film called Spinning Gold.

Wiz isn’t the only one set to star as an iconic musician in this production. The sultry Soul and R&B singer Ledisi will play Gladys Knight and Tayla Parx will play Donna Summers.

The feature film will be a biopic about Bogart’s life. In addition to the aforementioned superstars, his roster at Casablanca Records during the 1960s and 1970s included names like KISS, Parliament, Village People, while his time heading up Buddah Records churned out hits for The Isley Brothers, The Edwin Hawkins Singers, and Bill Withers.

Comedian Jay Pharoah and singer Jason Derulo have been tapped to be in the cast, but no word on who they will be playing. What has been reported is that this will truly be a music movie, with new renditions of some of Casablanca Records’ biggest hits.

According to Deadline, these are the songs that will be redone by the current cast: Donna Summers’ “Last Dance” and “Love to Love You Baby”; Parliament’s “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)”; the Isley Brothers’ “Fight the Power” and “It’s Your Thing”; Gladys Knight’s “Midnight Train to Georgia”; Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me” and “Ain’t No Sunshine” Kiss’ “Rock and Roll All Nite” and “Shout it Out Loud”, Village People’s “YMCA”; and “Oh Happy Day” by the Edwin Hawkins Singers.

Offset Gives Props To Cardi B For Loving Stepkids

Cardi B loves her stepchildren “the same way” as her daughter.

The “I Like It” hitmaker is mother to two-year-old daughter Kulture with her husband Offset, and is also stepmother to his three other children, Jordan, 11, Kalea, six, and Kody, also six.

And ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday, the Migos rapper has praised the way his wife treats his own children with as much love and respect as their daughter.

“She usually surprises me with an expensive gift, man,” he said. “That’s how it usually goes. She always just give me love… My other kids who ain’t hers… (she) gives them love the same way. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Offset is looking forward to his gifts, but “more than anything” else, he just wants to spend the day with his brood.

“(I want) to be at home more than anything, just enjoying the kids… running around (and saying,) ‘Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!'” he added.

“Being able to see them all at once just running around, it’s beautiful. Just with the family (having) family time. It’s wild, man. It’s non-stop. ‘Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! I want to do this! If he’s doing something, I want to do it! He ain’t pass the controller! He’s playing the game too long! He won’t give me my iPad! He’s watching the iPad too long!’ But they love each other so much.”

The rapper is also keen to teach his children important life lessons.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he continued: “I want them to understand that they got to work hard. Life is not easy… I want them to respect the moral of life, respect other people, and not act so spoiled… I have real life conversations with them. Sometimes they ask, ‘I want this, this, that’… I don’t say yes to everything. Mostly because I didn’t have it.

“I see a lot of people say, ‘I didn’t have it coming up, so I give them whatever they want.’ I don’t do that because how I got to the position I’m in right now is by not having access to everything… I tell ’em (to) save money… I’m trying to teach them that early because even though we’re blessed to be able to give them what they need, they’ve still got to understand the real-life situations in the world.”

EXCLUSIVE: Suspects Accused Of Killing XXXTentacion Ordered Into Court As Fans Honor Rapper’s Passing

The four suspects accused of killing XXXTentacion are heading to court this September, as their capital murder cases wind through court.

Dedrick Williams, Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, and Robert Allen have a mandatory hearing in front of Judge Michael Usan on September 3, 2021.

Each one of the suspects will appear in court with their respective attorneys for the hearing, where a trial date could finally be set for their roles in killing the rap star, on June 18, 2018.

All four of the suspects have been charged with stalking XXXTentacion outside of a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The rap star was shot inside of his BMW i8 in a botched robbery attempt.

Three of the suspects in the case, Robert Allen, Trayvon Newsome and Dedrick Willams, tried in vain to be released on bond in the case, and both of them failed.

Allen was granted an Arthur Hearing but his request for bond was denied in September of 2018.

Newsome was granted his Arthur Hearing, but his request was denied in February of 2020. Ditto for Williams, who also had an Arthur Hearing for a motion to make bond in May, but his hearing was canceled.

Meanwhile, Williams’ friends have been sending Judge Usan letters, in hopes of swaying the judge. The most recent letter came from one of Williams’ friends named Toccara Black.

Black said she has known Williams for 15 years. She also doubted his involvement in killing XXXTentacion.

“I don’t believe that he is a person that will do [sic] such a crime. Dedrick Williams is someone wouldn’t see no one heart with his caring heart. I truly believe that he was around set of friend [sic] at the wrong time,” Toccara Black wrote to Judge Usan.

XXXTentacion’s fans most likely feel otherwise, as they celebrate the third anniversary of his death.

Legendary “Hip Hop Heads” Art By Iconic Artist André LeRoy Davis Going Up For Sale As NFT’s

The Universal Hip Hop Museum is fundraising crazy to meet its $300 million goal to open in the next few years.

According to a press release, the UHHM will benefit from an innovative gesture from Hip-Hop Heads (nft.HipHop), a fin-tech company focused on NFTs founded by The Source co-founder Ed Young.

This donation will come from the sale of several NFTs from the art from the iconic illustrator André LeRoy Davis and might yield some big dollars for the institution.

The marketplace will go live at noon ET on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at nft.hiphop and run for 36 days, with one of each Hip-Hop Head NFTs, based on Davis’ art auctioned off each day.

André LeRoy Davis became famous for his Hip-Hop centric “The Last Word” caricatures featured at the end of each issue of The Source magazine during its Golden years.

His artist profile images have been sold for “big bank” in the past, with auction houses like Sotheby’s selling images of Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs from 1997 for anywhere from $8,000 to $12,000 or the late Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor for close to $15,000.

This project that will benefit the UHHM, the first inclusive and extensive museum to honor Hip-Hop in its entirety, is called “103 Hip Hop Heads First Editions.”

The collection features 103 NFT creations with 47 editions in each series. Each of the 103 series features an animated portrait of a famous figure from the culture. The avatars that represent this limited-edition series will feature 47 acts selected from the 47 years of Hip-Hop Art.

The release states, “The animation loops at a rate of ~47.8 seconds to pinpoint the time of creation in the Hip Hop Era. The animation background code is generated by the most significant numbers in Hip Hop history with the sine waves and animation frame rates dependent upon these numbers creating the plasma-type flow illustrating the passage of the Hip Hop Era through these years.”

One very special component to these NFTs is that featured artists will be able to curate the experience with the “whale” that purchases the art.

In addition to launching the NFT, Woods, Davis, and the UHHM board and development team are open to working with legacy artists to establish their own NFTs, for the purpose of building the financial portfolio of their estates.

Here’s How You Can Stay At House Where Outkast Recorded The Biggest Hits

Rapper Big Boi is giving fans the chance to rent the Atlanta, Georgia home where Outkast recorded some of their biggest hits to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album Atliens.

The hip-hop star is offering three overnight stays at the pad known as The Dungeon via Airbnb, with the June and July bookings available on a first come, first served basis once the application goes live on June 25.

Successful devotees who live in the Atlanta area will also be given an added bonus – a ride to and from the home in an Escalade.

Once there, guests will be invited to take a tour of the famed basement, where OutKast and the Goodie Mob, both part of The Dungeon Family collective, created some of their earliest works, and even signed their names on the walls of the makeshift studio.

Other rooms are designed to pay homage to Atlanta venues which inspired the music of The Dungeon Family, while there is also a top-of-the-line studio filled with Yamaha audio equipment – a more recent addition to the property.

The home previously belonged to producer Rico Wade’s mother, but Big Boi purchased it two years ago, and now he’s teamed up with Airbnb bosses to offer up each of the overnight stays for just $25 .

As part of the deal, Airbnb officials will be making a donation to the Atlanta Public Schools Music Department to expand resources and increase access to music education for young students, reports TMZ.
