Kanye West Escapes Charges For Snatching And Throwing Woman’s Phone

Kanye West has one less legal problem to worry about.

The G.O.O.D. Music boss was accused of snatching and tossing the phone of a woman he believed to be paparazzi. According to TMZ, the charges have now been dropped in connection with the January incident.

Documents obtained by the outlet from Ventura County District Attorney’s Office show that the woman’s phone was not damaged. However, while her $30 phone case was affected, she declined to press charges against Kanye West.

Widely circulated footage of the incident shows Kanye West leaving his daughter North’s basketball game in January before approaching a woman in a vehicle. The woman, who Ye seemingly believed was a member of the paparazzi, tells him that “he’s a celebrity.”

However, Kanye insists he does not want to be filmed. “If I say stop, stop with your cameras!” he replied.

The DONDA creator then reached into the woman’s car before snatching her phone and throwing it into the street behind him. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department reportedly arrived on the scene around 4:30 P.M. Law enforcement viewed footage of the incident before confirming Kanye West was the “named suspect in a battery investigation.”

Kanye West Says He Feels Like “Some Type Of Caged Animal”

A month later, Kanye West confronted a photographer filming him in West Hollywood. After asking the paparazzo to stop recording him, he engaged in a discussion with the freelancer, detailing his issues with photographers running down on him.

“Bro, just stop,” he urged. “Y’all paparazzi, you understand? Stop. Just stop … It’s like antagonistic. You got the shot … You don’t even know. Y’all just jump up on people like this.”

Ye then told the photographer he initially began taking medication because he “got mad at paparazzi.” Kanye West explained that his father was a photographer and asked for “balance,” from the paparazzo. “I can’t live in California in my life like I’m some type of caged animal to be judged and photographed,” he added.

EXCLUSIVE: 50 Cent’s Ex-Employee Files For Bankruptcy; Owes Rapper $6 Million

50 Cent’s efforts to collect millions of dollars from a former employee became more complicated.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Mitchell Green filed for bankruptcy after losing a $6 million judgment to 50 Cent’s Sire Spirits. Green, who worked in brand management for Sire Spirits, embezzled more than $2 million from the company.

After two years of stealing from Sire Spirits, Green confessed when someone threatened to reveal his misdeeds in an extortion plot. The liquor brand fired Green and took him to court.

A judge awarded more than $6 million to Sire Spirits in its legal battle with Green. Judge John Cronan denied Green’s motion to stay the execution of the judgment in February.

50 Cent taunted his ex-employee on social media. The G-Unit rapper sought to seize Green’s assets, teasing what he’d do with the man’s home on Instagram.

“I think i’m gonna put Epoxy floors in this place,” 50 Cent wrote. “I’m gonna keep it and his family pictures around, you know as a theme for the place. LOL.”

Green filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Tuesday (March 14). He received credit counseling from Cricket Debt Counseling in February. The bankruptcy filing temporarily halted 50 Cent’s plans to make Green pay.

EXCLUSIVE: NBA YoungBoy Victorious As Judge Lifts Draconian House Arrest Rules

A judge made NBA YoungBoy’s house arrest less restrictive on Wednesday (March 15).

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Judge Shelly Dick removed two of the conditions of NBA YoungBoy’s supervised release. The ruling allowed the Motown Records rapper to have more than three visitors at his home with no curfew.

“The Court issues this written Order modifying condition number 18 and condition number 19 of the Order Setting Conditions of Release, Document 142 filed on October 27, 2021, for the Defendant, [NBA YoungBoy],” the judge wrote. “It is hereby ordered that condition number 18 and condition number 19 of the Defendant’s Order Setting Conditions of Release are modified as follows: (18) No more than three persons may visit Gaulden at his home at any time. (19) No visitors are allowed at the Defendant’s home before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m. ‘Home’ is defined as the Defendant’s residence and all property and appurtenances of the residence. It is so ordered. Signed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this 15th day of March 2023.”

Judge Dick originally placed these restrictions on NBA YoungBoy in 2021. Other terms of his supervised release included not possessing a firearm and submitting to tests for prohibited substances.

NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, remains on house arrest for gun charges in Louisiana. He was allowed to relocate to Utah as part of his supervised release.

Earlier this year, NBA YoungBoy dropped a new album titled I Rest My Case. The project marked his first release for Motown Records.

The Baton Rouge native decided to cut down on the gunplay in his lyrics on I Rest My Case. NBA YoungBoy made the change after interacting with Mormon missionaries during his time in Utah. He expressed an interest in getting baptized once he’s off house arrest.

XXXTentacion Murder Trial: Jury’s Verdict A Mystery After 6 Days Of Deliberations

A verdict remains elusive in the XXXTentacion murder trial.

Jurors wrapped up their sixth day of deliberations with no verdict on Wednesday afternoon (March 15). The jury will return to a Florida court to continue their discussions on Thursday morning (March 16).

Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams and Trayvon Newsome were charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of XXXTentacion. All three men face life in prison if convicted.

A fourth defendant, Robert Allen, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for his role in XXXTentacion’s death. The 26-year-old man testified against Boatwright, Williams and Newsome.

Allen identified Boatwright and Newsome as the masked men seen in the surveillance footage of XXXTentacion’s murder. Allen recalled Williams, the alleged getaway driver, egging on Boatwright and Newsome before the fatal robbery.

According to Allen, the four men plotted to rob someone on the day of the murder. They targeted XXXTentacion after seeing the late rapper walk into RIVA Motorsports in Florida.

Prosecutors accused Boatwright of firing the shots that killed XXXTentacion. Allen said Newsome grabbed the slain artist’s Louis Vuitton bag, which contained $50,000 in cash.

Allen explained how the men split the money in his testimony. He allegedly took $5,000 while the other three each grabbed $15,000.

Defense attorneys claimed Allen lied in court. They argued he was simply trying to avoid a life sentence.

XXXTentacion was shot and killed outside of RIVA Motorsports in June 2018. He was 20.

Hurricane Chris’ Lawyer Thanks Jury For Being Courageous Following “Not Guilty” Verdict

Rapper Hurricane Chris has been found not guilty of second-degree murder charges.

Surprisingly, he gained his freedom by his lawyers tapping into a Hip-Hop classic film, Friday. The attorneys referenced the character Deebo, played by Tommy “Tiny” Lister, in arguing the innocence of their client.

His lawyer said the jury was courageous in ruling in his favor, explaining it made a bold statement about the community—not just his client.

After the verdict, his attorney Alex Washington said, “We are proud of the jury. Finally, a jury that had the courage to say that ‘He’s not guilty.’”

“Everybody in Shreveport is not guilty,” he continued. “And this system is flawed. Sometimes, you know, we have poor investigations. In this case, a poor investigation has affected Mr. Dooley’s life since 2020. So, I appreciate the courage of the community to say no say not guilty.”

Angela Savage detailed the defense, tweeting, “In opening statements for Christopher Dooley aka ‘Hurricane Chris’ murder trial the Defense attorney described the deceased as ‘Debo’ a popular character from the movie Friday while showing a picture of the character.”

“Three 911 calls were played for jurors today. One witness in the calls says the deceased Danzeria Farris Jr. took his last breath at the Texaco on Hollywood Avenue. While listening to the calls from witnesses to 911 a woman left the courtroom in tears,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet.

She added, “Dooley faces two charges: SECOND DEGREE MURDER and ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN THINGS. He has pled not guilty and his attorney says he acted in self-defense.”

The rapper didn’t have much to say after leaving the courtroom, only, “Thank Jesus.”

AllHipHop.com would later report his remarks on the verdict, quoting him as saying, “Tonight, I was found not guilty of second-degree murder and illegal possession of stolen things.”

“I wanna thank God, my attorneys at the Washington & Wells Law Firm, and my family for standing with me as my life was on the line. They wanted to give me life if I was found guilty. Now I can hug my son and think about raising him to be a man,” Hurricane Chris continued, “This situation drained me and affected my health greatly. God, I give u all the glory. I got my life back and words can’t explain how I feel. Thanks to everyone who wished me well.”

The late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s ex and first child’s mother, Tanisha Foster,  is preparing to go to court with his family over a guardianship agreement for the care of their daughter. Reports are saying the “Marathon” rapper’s former sweetheart is struggling with his death— years after his premature demise.

According to RadarOnline.com, on Monday, Mar. 13, she took to Instagram to share a message about her love for him, saying she “would have took those bullets” for him, referring to the fatal shooting that took Nip’s life.

Foster said, “I miss my child’s father. I wish he was here to see my accomplishments.”

“It’s almost 4 years of him being gone so just think how I feel,” she continued. “I met him in my teens, and he been my roll dog ever since. I spoke with him 30 mins [sic] b4 [sic] his death. I was one of the last persons he spoke with. I wish I was there I would have took those bullets.”

The reflection comes right before the fight.

The family is currently fighting over custody rights regarding Emani, the rapper’s 14-year-old, and will square off in court in April.

AllHipHop.com reports, Hussle’s family is clear, because of her inheritance, it is best for Emani to primarily be with the family.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, Nipsey Hussle was shot by Eric Holder, who has recently been convicted of the star’s March 31, 2019, death.

EXCLUSIVE: Chuck D Announces Bring The Noise App For Hip-Hop Fans 35+

Public Enemy juggernaut Chuck D has announced a new app called Bring The Noise. Chuck appeared on an episode of NextStar Media’s NewsNation show, The Exchange with Chris Cuomo, on Tuesday (March 14) where he made the reveal. The app will have a soft launch on Wednesday (March 15) and, as he explained in the caption, target Hip-Hop fans 35 and up with videos, interviews, RAPstation TV all 11 RAPstation channels (helmed by Chuck).

“Breaking NOISE: This AINT Chucks App its RAPs App 35+,” he wrote on Twitter. “FAM = Film Art Music. Bring The Noise we NOT telling anyone to leave their Social Media.. This is Culture Media. You might Not KNOW me BUT you definitely don’t KNOW those people you checked ‘I accept’ to. BRING THE NOISE APP.”

Speaking to AllHipHop, Chuck D explained the Bring The Noise app will initially be available solely to people in their inner circle to try it out. Then, they can invite others before it’s officially available in the App Store.

“The simple fact of the matter is Bring The Noise is culture media not social media,” he says. “People are invited from anywhere. We aren’t uninviting anyone under 35, but we have our small segment of what we think technology and the whole realm can do for the art form. We specialize in the culture—which is film, art and music, or ‘F.A.M.’

“And look, this isn’t Chuck D’s app. Nobody looks at Facebook and calls it Mark Zuckerberg’s app. Nobody looks at Twitter and calls it Elon Musk’s app. So why not us? We fully expect to be bombarded and attacked. We’ll have naysayers, it will crash—just like those others. We are evolutionary here, but we think the revolution in every aspect.”

And Chuck D assures users it will be safer. He continues, “We’re not trying to take people away from what they what they already got, like YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. They all try to make things that emulate TikTok, which is always in danger of being in the United State because the government says it could be used as a tracking device. We think we have a nice secure system that will add on to the realm of social media. Culture media, we think, is a little bit better.”

To register for the app, people will have to include their phone number, so there’s “no hiding” behind fake emails and names. Chuck is looking forward to the launch but doesn’t have any unrealistic expectations. He says, “We aren’t out to change the world. We ain’t out to flip society. This isn’t social media. This is culture media. We hope to be boring and unattractive to people under 35. We are more concerned about the quality of the engager and not the quantity. We’re very sure of what we’re not, as opposed to what we are. It’s a good time to be able to go into and choose what you want to be involved with. We hope culture media spreads and metastasizes.”

He adds with a laugh, “It’s almost like we’re in the mall, right? But in the top floor of the mall you got to take an elevator. That’s where we got a high level of cuisine. We’re not Burger King next to the food court and the jungle gym. All we have to do is maintain our quality and we’re good.”

MC Sha-Rock Goes Off Over First Female MC Claims, Name-Checks Debbie D And Pebblee Poo

MC Sha-Rock apparently reached a point where she could no longer tolerate numerous accounts of Hip-Hop history as it relates to women in rap. On Tuesday (March 14), the “Mother of the Mic” hopped on Facebook and Instagram Live and went in on Debbie D for insisting she’s the first solo female rapper.

Noticeably frustrated, MC Sha-Rock—a founding member of the Funky 4 and later, the “plus one” in the Funky 4 +1, sailed though her trailblazing contributions to the culture, which includes being the first to be on national television and first to land a record deal. She also challenged anyone who thinks she’s lying to come with receipts.

A post shared by MC Sha-Rock (@iammcsharock)

MC Sha-Rock and Debbie D have been going back and forth for more than 30 years.

Lisa Lee, Debbie D and Sha-Rock appeared in the 1984 film Beat Street as one-third of Us Girls, one of the highlights of the seminal movie. Pebblee Poo, another rapper claiming to be the first solo female MC, was given the harshest language from Sha Rock.

Sha said people had taken her “kindness for weakness.” As Sha-Rock explained in the Live, she was “brought to this point.”

On Monday (March 13), Debbie D went on Instagram to restate her position. She wrote, “My claim is hip hop’s first female SOLO MC/Rapper. In plain English, this means, in the 80s, whenever I performed, the only person you saw on stage with the mic, was me. This is a promotional picture of me and my deejay, Wanda Dee. MC Debbie D and DJ Wanda Dee are the female counterpart to MC Busy Bee and DJ AJ. In the 80s, prior to records becoming the norm, pioneers performed a show created between the Emcees & the DJ. Having your own DJ, guaranteed the Emcee a successful show because you rehearsed it; a soloist can’t do that changing DJs every week!

“This is why if someone claims to be a soloist, I ask, who was their DJ because every soloist who promoters booked to perform, had one. To know about me and my work as a soloist I’d like to point you to flyers, DJs and Promoters such as: Kool Herc, Sandwich, Afrika Bambaataa, Armstrong, Mike and Dave, RC Pac Man, Man Dip Lite, Mix Master Mike (NJ) and many others, including Fly Ty (Cold Chillin/Juice Crew) who secured my record deals as a soloist.”

A post shared by MC Debbie D, Ph.D. (@mcdebbied)

Pebblee Poo has been quiet, but Debbie D doubled down on her position and mentions MC Sha-Rock at the end of her post.

She continued, “Either of these DJs and Promoters mentioned above, have ever booked any female MC who makes a claim as the first soloist. Let us not confuse or try to champion a female Emcee who you saw at a jam rhyming on the mic alone ONLY WITH THEIR CREW or at one or two parties, with Debbie D, the female Emcee who built an entire early career performing as a soloist every week, with her OWN DJ on 100s of shows, including battles, as evidenced on flyers and cassette tapes.

“Sha Rock, in her memoir Luminary Icon (p. 180), wrote: ‘Debbie D was holding it down by herself on stage, with her DJ Wanda Dee, as her back up. She was on fire! I figured since she was making a name for herself as a soloist, we could really benefit from making her a part of the group.’ You tell me, is Sha Rock, the first female MC in hip hop wrong? MC Debbie D holds the title as the first to carve the path for the female MC/Rap SOLOIST, one who performs alone. Point. Blank. Period.”

AllHipHop has reached out to both MC Sha-Rock and Debbie D for comment.

Omi In A Hell Cat Gets Five Years In Prison And Gives Up $30M In Assets To Feds

Popular YouTuber Omi in a Hellcat has been sentenced to more than five years in federal prison. Besides losing years behind bars, the media influencer also had to give up a lot of his personal assets— that fans have seen him floss for years.

According to Fortune, Omi In A Hellcat, whose real name is Bill Omar Carrasquillo, pleaded guilty to conspiracy, copyright infringement, fraud, money laundering, and tax evasion last year and other charges connected to what the Justice Department suggests is one of the most “brazen and successful” TV piracy schemes ever prosecuted by the government.

He and two others created technology where they could hack encrypted cable boxes and later stream or resell the copyrighted content to a different audience.

Omi in a Hellcat is said to have created a hood version of Netflix with about 100,000 subscribers before it was shut down by the DOJ in 2019.

The feds say he was generating more than $34 million in revenue a year.

The sentence of five years is coupled with the 36-year-old relinquishing nearly $6 million in cash, his luxury cars (like his Lamborghini Huracán EVO, 1996 Chevrolet Impala, and Ford Mustang), and his many properties across the Philadelphia area, including the surrounding suburbs.

In total, at the Tuesday, March 7 sentencing, the DOJ has demanded he ante up more than $30 million in assets.

U.S. District Judge Harvey Bartle III said, “Thirty million dollars is a lot of money [but] tangible objects aren’t everything. You have a large following and there may be people who think if you can get away with it, they can too.”

Donte Mills explained his client had a hard life and tried to access the American dream, saying, “There’s something to be said for someone who never had a chance but made one for themselves and who did everything in their power not to be that person they were expected to be.”

Omi grew up in the rough streets of North Philly in the 80s and 90s, as one of 38 children. His mother was deported when he was young and later died of an overdose. His father was a drug dealer who taught him how to make crack at 12 years old.

His dad would spend time in jail, leaving him to be raised by relatives and in the foster system until he was old enough to make a way on his own as a hustler.

SZA’s ‘Ctrl’ Album Spends 300 Weeks On The Billboard 200 Chart

After controlling the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for ten non-consecutive weeks, SZA’s latest album currently sits at No. 2. SOS is not the only project by the songstress to have a Top 25 position on the Billboard 200 at the moment.

2017’s Ctrl presently sits at No. 23 on the weekly Billboard 200 rankings. SZA’s debut studio LP has now remained on that chart for a milestone total of 300 weeks. It has stayed on the Billboard 200 since its debut.

Originally, Ctrl opened at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 by earning 60,000 first-week units. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the Top Dawg Entertainment-backed body of work as 3x-Platinum.

SZA’s Ctrl is the second-longest charting album by a female R&B artist behind Anti by Rihanna. 2016’s Anti crossed the 300-week mark on the Billboard 200 in February 2022. That project now has 358 weeks on the chart.

SZA recruited Hip Hop stars Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, and Isaiah Rashad as well as singer/songwriter James Fauntleroy as guest features on the 14-track standard version of Ctrl. A deluxe edition includes seven additional tracks.

Singles such as “Love Galore,” “The Weekend,” and “Broken Clocks” live on the Ctrl album. SZA earned five nominations, including a Best New Artist nod, at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards off the success of Ctrl. However, the Recording Academy controversially shut out SZA that year.

SOS arrived on December 9, 2022. SZA’s sophomore set debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 by racking up 318,000 first-week units. The single “Kill Bill” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The RIAA has already certified SOS as Platinum.

The event marks the fourth installment of the elite-level co-ed battle rap marquee franchise and takes place on Mar. 19 at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, GA.

Smack White’s gunna and the first face of the URL, legendary Baltimore artist Tay Roc will take on the First Lady of the URL herself, Harlem’s Ms. Hustle, to headline the card. The grudge match has been a long time coming, with Hustle calling out Roc for years. Hustle, one of the most skilled women in battle rap, promised fans a “barfest” in their clash this weekend.

Tay Roc Takes On Ms. Hustle For His 50th URL Battle

However, the clash takes on even greater significance, marking Tay Roc’s fiftieth battle on the Ultimate Rap League. The Gun Bar King is one of the sport’s most consistent emcees, with a matching resume that outshines many of his peers.

His list of past competitors reads like a who’s who of battle rap, featuring the best of the Smack era emcees alongside rising stars. Loaded Lux, Murda Mook, Hitman Holla, Hollow Da Don, Aye Verb, K-Shine, and Dizaster are among the many battle rap legends he’s stood in front of over the years. While newer URL stars on his resume include three times Champion of the Year Geechi Gotti, and 2020 Women’s Champion of the Year, Viixen The Assassin.

Last December, Tay Roc shared a list of all his URL battles, 48 at that time with one more clash locked in.

With so many classic battles and legendary opponents, Roc has very few big battles left on the league. Accordingly, he’s been giving shots to rising star battlers, deserving of a chance to face the URL legend. After bouts with fellow Maryland battlers, Swervo and Ryda, Tay Roc faced Snakeyez before taking on Stumbles for his 49th battle just a month later.

The rest of the card is also stacked with heavy-hitting matches featuring some of the sport’s most talented. Watch the trailer above and check out instructions to purchase the live stream below.

Damian Lillard Explains Why He Doesn’t Enjoy What The NBA Is Becoming

With Ja Morant’s personal issues going viral in recent weeks, the NBA has remained in the headlines for news taking place off the basketball court. Seven-time All-Star Damian Lillard also recently shared his thoughts on the current state of the league.

Damian Lillard appeared on an episode of former Orlando Magic guard JJ Redick’s The Old Man and the Three podcast. Their conversation included Reddick asking Lillard how the NBA changed since his 2012-2013 rookie season.

“When I came into the league, you had to earn, not just what you get from the team… You had to earn your space on the team. It was no, ‘Oh, you’re the sixth pick of the draft, it’s your team.’ What is this ‘your team’ stuff?” replied Damian Lillard.

He continued, “I think now the biggest difference is you don’t have that veteran presence. So you got players who are more talented than ever coming into the league, they’re getting picked 1,2,3,4,5, and they’re making more money than those picks ever made. Now only that, not you’re giving them the keys to the franchise.”

The 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year went on to say he believes some of the younger players in the NBA only play for stats. Damian Lillard claims the goals for his career are less about himself and more about the success of his team.

Damian Lillard Says He Thinks About How The NBA Is Changing All The Time

“I feel like I play for the love of the game,” stated Lillard. “I want the competition. I want to know what it feels like to win. I want to see my teammates do well. I want to see my teammates get paid. I enjoy the bonding part of it. We spend more time with each other than anybody.”

He added, “While I understand we play to win championships, we all want to win the championships, we can’t keep acting like nothing matters. Like the rest of this stuff, the journey, doesn’t matter. We can’t keep doing that.”

The sixth overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft also told JJ Redick, “There’s so many ways that the league is different. I think about it all the time. I don’t know if I can just play a long, long time, because I don’t enjoy what the NBA as a whole is becoming.”

Damian Lillard has played all eleven seasons of his NBA tenure with the Portland Trail Blazers. In addition, the 32-year-old Oakland native released several Hip Hop albums under the stage name Dame D.O.L.L.A. 2016’s The Letter O studio LP charted on the Billboard 200.

Cardi B Brings Awareness To “Gruesome” Death Of Rasheem Carter

The family of Rasheem Carter reported him missing on October 2. A month later, Smith County law enforcement found the 25-year-old Mississippi man’s remains in a wooded area with his head reportedly severed from his body.

“At this time, we have no reason to believe foul play was involved, but the case is still under investigation. The remains were transported to MS Crime Lab for DNA confirmation,” read a November 3 Facebook post from the Smith County Sheriff’s Office about the Rasheem Carter case.

On that statement, Smith County Sheriff Joel Houston recently told NBC News, “It was just letting the local or general public know that at this time no one else is believed to be involved.” Sheriff Houston added, “It does seem to have caused unnecessary headache, but we only have what the evidence tells us. At that time, the evidence didn’t suggest anything.”

Rasheem Carter’s mother, Tiffany Carter, claimed Rasheem told her that white men in the community had been targeting him. The Carter family and civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump called for the United States Department of Justice to open a federal investigation.

“They have recently found remains that they believe are also Rasheem Carter at another part of where he went missing, and what that tells us, is that this was a nefarious act. This was an evil act. Somebody murdered Rasheem Carter. And we cannot let them get away with this,” said Benjamin Crump at a press conference on Monday.

Cardi B Calls For Her Followers To Research The Rasheem Carter Case

Hip Hop superstar Belcalis “Cardi B” Almánzar Cephus tweeted about the Rasheem Carter case on Tuesday afternoon. The 30-year-old entertainer has more than 29 million followers on the Twitter social media platform.

“The details of #rasheemcarter’s murder [are] INHUMANE and soo gruesome!!! Actions and awareness needs to be taken!! PLEASE READ UP ON HIS STORY!!!!” wrote Cardi B on Twitter. Previously, the Grammy winner advocated for justice in other suspicious death cases of African-Americans such as Breonna Taylor.

According to his relatives, Rasheem Carter’s front teeth were missing from the top and bottom rows of his mouth which may indicate a pre-death assault. In addition, Benjamin Crump told the media that investigators found Rasheem’s spinal cord in another location away from his severed head.

A medical examiner could not determine the cause and manner of death. An autopsy report by the state insisted signs of animal activity on Rasheem Carter’s remains made any conclusion questionable. Apparently, authorities suggested wild animals may have torn Carter’s body apart.
