Kodak Black’s Rolling Loud Appearance Begs The Question: Will He Make It Through Rehab?

Kodak Black performed at Rolling Loud Los Angeles over the weekend. But according to reports, he needed a helluva lot of supervision to ensure he stayed sober before his set. The Florida rapper, who’s on probation, recently tested positive for Fentanyl and was ordered to 30 days of in-patient rehab. But will he make it? According to sources, Kodak’s team kept a close on him. They even enlisted a physician to monitor his eating habits and another person who essentially had to babysit him.

Anyone familiar with addiction knows it’s entirely up to the person whether they want to get sober or not. You can’t force anyone into sobriety. It has to be their own decision. So the fact he was only able to stay away from drugs because he had supervision isn’t a promising sign. Kodak has yet to speak on the matter, so it’s all speculation at this point.

Kodak Black was arrested last July with 31 oxycodone pills and nearly $75,000 in cash. He was charged with one count of trafficking oxycodone and one count of possession of a controlled substance, according to the Broward County Clerk’s Office. He pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial.

Oxycodone is one of the most addictive pain killers out there. Therefore, they’re incredibly hard to kick. Kodak is presumably at a facility now where he’ll have to detox. Wishing the best for rap’s Super Gremlin—it’s not easy.

Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G, DJ Drama & Berner Are Going On Joint Tour

As if Snoop Dogg doesn’t have enough on his plate, the Death Row Records boss has just added a massive tour to his schedule. On Monday (March 6), Live Nation announced the High School Reunion Tour featuring Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G, Berner and DJ Drama.

The 33-date run will kick off on July 7 in Vancouver, British Columbia before heading to Washington state the following day. The tour will make additional stops in cities such as Denver, Toronto and Brooklyn before wrapping up in Irvine, California on August 27.

Snoop Dogg was the butt of one of Chris Rock’s jokes during his new Netflix special, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage. Rock asked, “When did Snoop Dogg become Morgan Freeman?” He went on to marvel at Snoop “selling everything,” including wine, beer, tampons and reverse mortgages. He ended the bit by assuring the audience he wasn’t dissing Snoop. After all, he said, he didn’t need “another rapper” mad at him, a reference to the Will Smith Oscars slap. Of course, it was all in good fun. His comments about Smith and Jada Pinkett, however, are a different story.

Tickets for the High School Reunion Tour will be available starting with artist and Citi pre-sales on Tuesday (March 7). They’ll go on sale to the general public on March 10 at 9 a.m. here.

GloRilla Concert Turns Into Death & Chaos In New York

Rising star GloRilla has made headlines after one person lost their life at her Sunday, Mar. 5 concert at the Main Street Armory in Rochester, NY.

Sadly, according to the Associated Press, someone falsely reported after the concert around 11:00 pm, someone in the crowd had a gun, prompting people to start to run in hysteria.

As a result, there was a crowd surge as people ran toward the exits. A stampede left one casualty and nine people hurt.

Originally, police found three of nine critically injured, and took them immediately to the hospital. One of the three, a 33-year-old woman, died in doctor’s care. The others remain in critical condition. The seven were treated but their injuries were not life-threatening.

During a news briefing about the incident, Police Chief David M. Smith said, “We do not have any evidence of gunshots being fired or of anyone being shot or stabbed at the scene.”

“What began last night as a night of live music and fun for the performer GloRilla ended in tragedy with one person dead and two more fighting for their lives,” the chief said.

The police are still investigating the incident.

The concert featured GloRilla and Finess2tymes and was packed.

GloRilla has burst on the scene with her hit song “Tomorrow,” featuring Cardi B with the epic alley-oop on the verse. Since the Grammy awards mini-performance and a few weeks on the Billboard charts, her stock has been up and people have been itching to see her.

Still, the city’s mayor Malik Evans said nothing like this should have happened, despite how popular and packed the concert might have been.

“If you go to a concert you do not expect to be trampled,” he said. “Your loved ones expect you to be able to come home and talk about the experience that you had at that great concert.”

“We are going to hold people accountable for what happened last night, period,” Evans said.

Charlie Mack Bashes Chris Rock For Calling Jada Pinkett Smith A B##ch

Hip-Hop Forrest Gump and Will Smith’s longtime bodyguard/ friend Charlie Mack didn’t appreciate how Chris Rock lashed out at the actor’s wife during his live Netflix special, Chris Rock: Selective Outrage.

The comments came after Rock’s publicist Marvet Britto posted a glowing review about the performance.

“Life is not merely summarized by what is said or done to you….but how YOU choose to respond,” she wrote. “AN EPIC TOUR OF HEALING ENDING WITH AN EPIC PERFORMANCE!!!! So SUPA PROUD of my friend @chrisrock for working through his pain & cementing his legacy as the first live performance in Netflix history.”

Charlie Mack caught wind of the post and added his two cents in the comment section, challenging the veteran star maker.

He said, “Calling Jada a B, is calling everyone Black woman a B!!!! Jada has never spoken any words of disrespect on that Brotha!!!!! Never EVER, in fact, she done just the opposite!! Love on and celebrated him!!! And all of us for that matter!! And you stand in celebration of a Blackman viciously calling our Sista and B??”

He then wrote that his heart “bleeds” for Britto, noting he has always considered her a “Black Queen” and “Class Act” and that he has known Britto for more than 30 years.

Mack concluded, “Never thought I’d see this day,” before wishing her peace and “Brotherly Love.”

Before checking out, he added something for everyone to note, “Love is needed the most when deserved the LEAST!!!!! Our People are in bad shape!”

Angela Yee Responds To DJ Envy Calling Cap On Her Comments About “The Breakfast Club”

What appeared to be an amicable split between the original hosts of The Breakfast Club now seems to have some friction involved. Angela Yee and DJ Envy went back and forth in the media over the last several days.

The troublesome situation started after Anglea Yee appeared on The Tamron Hall Show. That interview on the daytime talk show included Yee reflecting on her decision to leave The Breakfast Club to host her own radio show on the same network.

In particular, Yee discussed the public sometimes wanting to hold her accountable for the actions of DJ Envy and fellow co-host Charlamagne Tha God. She also spoke about being the only on-air female personality on The Breakfast Club.

“Sometimes I would feel like I got it harder than [Charlamagne Tha God] did for some things that he said. And so I also want to make it clear that we’re all three individuals. You say what you say, feel how you feel, and I do too. But it’s hard because people affiliate you with the whole group,” Angela Yee told Tamron Hall.

Yee added, “I was the only woman who worked there too. I mean when it came to producers, camera people, and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in. I feel like I did need more backup because even things that I felt, as a woman – if somebody can’t understand your point of view because they’re not coming from where you come from. So that was hard for me too, to be the only woman there.”

DJ Envy Says Angela Yee Misspoke, Yee Releases A Statement About Her Comments

Over the weekend, DJ Envy addressed what Angela Yee had to say about her time on The Breakfast Club. At first, Envy responded to The Shade Room‘s Instagram post about the topic by commenting, “🧢That’s not true… 🧢There are plenty of women that work behind the scenes on [The Breakfast Club].”

Later, DJ Envy suggested Angele Yee just “misspoke” and that she would “clean up” her remarks. He also pointed out that iHeartMedia Executive Vice President of Programming, Thea Mitchem, oversees the hiring for the company that broadcasts The Breakfast Club.

Angela Yee took to Twitter to share more of her thoughts on the matter. The Lip Service podcast presenter offered further explanations on what she had to say on Tamron Hall about the lack of women working at her former show.

Yee tweeted:

Usually, I don’t comment or go back and forth with people but there’s too much spinning. “In the room” referred to the people in the studio: the producer, board op, videographer, and hosts. Yes, they are men. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t amazing women who are execs, salespeople, interns, and in other departments. I’ve said this on many occasions: that it can be hard when your viewpoint is different based on your experience. I didn’t anticipate that this would cause such a firestorm. Everyone texting me “are you ok” (which I appreciate!) and I know I don’t normally take the time to overexplain because it drags things out even more but that’s all 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Blueface Credits Cardi B For Changing His Life

Blueface has become one of the most controversial figures in Hip Hop over the last year. While the Los Angeles native is now more well-known for his social media and reality show antics, he did score a hit record in 2018 with “Thotiana” featuring Cardi B.

“Thotiana” rose to No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Blueface the highest-charting single of his career. The song has 350 million streams on Spotify. A music video for the remix with Cardi B amassed more than 250 million views on YouTube.

Over the weekend, Blueface took to Twitter to share his thoughts on how “Thotiana (Remix)” came together. According to the Cash Money Records affiliate, Cardi B played a huge role in changing his viewpoint on creating collaborations with other artists.

Blueface Says He’s Only Doing Business One Way In 2023

“When I got that Cardi feature, I never spoke with her prior to the studio session or recording of the music video,” explained Blueface. “Everything was done from management to management to ensure professional business. No money was exchanged for anything because it made [sense] for everyone, no leverage.”

The Famous Cryp mixtape creator also tweeted, “That feature changed my life fasho, that’s the only way we doing business in 2023.” 2018’s Famous Cryp hosts the Cardi B-assisted “Thotiana” remix as well as the “Respect My Cryppin'” single.

YG, Snoop Dogg, Offset & More Rap Stars Also Collaborated With Blueface

Fellow West Coast rapper YG appeared on another version of “Thotiana” that collected over 78 million YouTube views. The Recording Industry Association of America certified “Thotiana” as Platinum in 2019.

In addition, Blueface’s “Daddy” with Rich The Kid peaked at No. 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 weekly rankings. He scored a No. 90 entry as a guest on the Gold-certified “Slide” by French Montana as well.

Throughout his career, Blueface also recorded music with Snoop Dogg, Offset, G-Eazy, The Game, Tyga, Gunna, DaBaby, NLE Choppa, DDG, and more. Famous Cryp reached No. 29 on the Billboard 200. The project remained on that chart for 19 weeks.

Jonathan Majors Dominates The Box Office With ‘Creed III’ & ‘Quantumania’

Creed III scored big at the box office. The motion picture stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis “Donnie” Creed and Jonathan Majors as Damian “Diamond Dame” Anderson.

According to reports, Creed III launched with $58.6 million. That amount is the highest debut for the Creed franchise. The original made $29.6 million in its opening weekend in 2015.

Creed pulled in a final domestic total of $109.8 million and a global total of $173.6 million. 2018’s Creed II opened with $35.6 million and ended up making $115.7 million domestically and $214.2 million worldwide.

Furthermore, Creed III reportedly broke the record for the highest domestic box office debut for a sports movie. The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production also brought in $100,458,008 at the international box office.

In addition to Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors as the leads, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad also make up the Creed III cast. The boxing drama serves as Jordan’s directorial debut.

Jonathan Majors also appeared in the weekend’s No. 2 movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The Marvel Studios/Walt Disney Studios superhero film grossed $12.5 million from March 3-5.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hit theaters on February 6 and opened with $106 million domestically. The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a $419.6 million global sum.

Jonathan Majors plays Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Paul Rudd returned as Scott Lang/Ant-Man with Evangeline Lilly back as Hope van Dyne/Wasp.

Before entering the MCU, Jonathan Majors earned critical praise for his role in HBO’s Lovecraft Country. The 33-year-old Emmy nominee also acted in films such as White Boy Rick, Da 5 Bloods, The Harder They Fall, and Magazine Dreams.

Joe Budden Refers To J. Cole As A Coon For Collaborating With BTS Member J-Hope

South Korean singer/rapper J-Hope of BTS teamed up with Dreamville Records co-founder J. Cole for the “On the Street” single.

The K-Pop artist and the Hip Hop artist’s song arrived on March 3. The track’s official music video amassed over 14 million views on YouTube in three days.

While BTS fans seem excited about J-Hope linking up with J. Cole, Joe Budden slammed the collaboration. The retired rapper criticized Cole for working with the Jack in the Box album creator.

Joe Budden Explains His Issue With The J-Hope/J. Cole Collab

“J. Cole’s pandering,” said Joe Budden on the “Sign Language” episode of his bi-weekly podcast. Budden added, “This is why people pander, by the way, because it works. ‘Let’s land the K-Pop star/J. Cole merger.’”

As some of The Joe Budden Podcast co-hosts expressed a different opinion about the “On the Street” track, Budden stared into the camera. The New Jersey native then held up a whiteboard with the word “COONS” written on it.

“My point ain’t about whether I like it creatively or not. My point is just recognizing what it is,” stated Budden after walking around the room with the whiteboard.

Both BTS & J. Cole Found Success On The American Charts

BTS is one of the most commercially successful music acts in the world. The Big Hit Music-backed boy band also became chart-toppers in America with six No. 1 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and six No. 1 entries on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

J. Cole is widely viewed as one of the greatest rappers of his generation. The Grammy winner released the No. 1 albums Cole World: The Sideline Story, Born Sinner, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, 4 Your Eyez Only, KOD, and The Off-Season.

Dreamville Records just released Creed III: The Soundtrack on March 3. The project includes J. Cole’s “Adonis Interlude (The Montage)” produced by Dr. Dre. Plus, Dreamville recently announced the 2023 Dreamville Festival.

Yung Miami Declares She’s “Not Sharing” Her Man In Next Relationship

Yung Miami appears to be tired of having to share her man with other women.

The City Girl, who has been seeing Diddy for over a year although the pair maintain they’re still single, took to social media on Sunday to issue a declaration about her next relationship.

After debuting a new single at Rolling Loud on Saturday evening (Mar. 4) with fellow City girl JT, Yung Miami was in need of some TLC.

“It’s been a long week I just want my man 😓,” she tweeted on Sunday. However, while she did not say what got between her and her man, she returned with a follow–up tweet a short time later.

“I’m not sharing my next n####!” Yung Miami stated although she failed to say what prompted the tweet.

Elsewhere, this weekend, the Caresha Please host revealed she has no plans to ever tie the knot.

“I don’t want to get married cos I feel like men are not faithful,” Yung Miami said during a recent Instagram Live session. “I take everything personal, I will never forget. If my husband cheats on me, Imma kill him.”

Diddy Says “Yung Miami Is Not My Side Chick”

Last year, Diddy defended Yung Miami after fans dragged her online. She was called a “side chick” after the Hip-Hop mogul announced the birth of his daughter, Love Sean Combs.

“@yungmiami305 is not my side chick,” Diddy tweeted last December. “Never has been, never will be. She’s very important and special to me, and I don’t play about my Shawty Wop. I don’t discuss things on the internet and I will not start today.

“So think what you want,” he continued. “But know that if you do something to hurt mine, I’m gonna to come to your house and we’re gonna talk about it like human beings. LOVE.”

Yung Miami also insisted she and Diddy have a mutually beneficial relationship.

“People think that I’m like a side chick and he just do whatever he want and I’m just head over heels. No it go both ways,” she said. “Ain’t nothing one sided over here.”

She also revealed that she knew about the baby before she was born in October.

Rihanna Jokes About Sibling Rivalry Over Oscars Performance, Shares Adorable New Video & Pics

Rihanna is heading to the Oscars next week, but her baby son isn’t too happy about missing out on the show.

The 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show star and first-time Academy Award nominee will need a babysitter for the Mar. 12 ceremony, where she is due to perform her nominated song “Lift Me Up.” Nonetheless, she will have one baby on-board as the star recently announced she and A$AP Rocky are expecting their second child.

Rihanna shared an adorable video of her little man crying while joking he’s upset at missing out.

“My son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him,” Rihanna penned in the caption. “Swipe for tb of my fat man.”

She also shared a cute video of the baby watching the music video for the Oscar-nominated song. The track, which appears on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, is in the running for Best Original Song. Check out the sweet pictures below.

Rihanna On Protecting Her Son’s Privacy

Rihanna recently unveiled her second pregnancy during her performance at the Super Bowl. The fiercely protective parents are yet to reveal their son’s name, although they did open up about parenthood during their recent British Vogue cover shoot.

Rihanna revealed they were forced into sharing images of their baby for the first time after being caught by paparazzi during the magazine’s beach photo shoot.

“I just went straight into protective mode,” Rhianna recalled. “Like there wasn’t even time for rage. [Rocky and I] drove up to the trailer area and we sat in the car chatting and working out how we move forward. As parents it just feels so icky, like a violation. … As we were speaking, we knew they were making calls and deals.”

The couple scrambled to share a video of their son on TikTok to beat the paparazzi to it.

“Throw me to the wolves,” she said. “Do what you want with me. But he doesn’t have a say in any of this. We’ve been protecting him thus far and you don’t have any consent to be posting photos or selling photos of my child, a minor. Get the hell out of here with that.”

Chaka Khan Apologizes For ‘Greatest Singers List’ Comments After Shading Mariah Carey & Adele

Chaka Khan has apologized after sharing some less-than-kind remarks about the singing abilities of Mariah Carey and Adele.

The legendary singer claimed she didn’t mean to cause offense and said she was baited into making the remarks. Chaka Khan made the comments after being asked for her reaction to being ranked number 29 on Rolling Stone’s list of The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time earlier this year.

However, in a lengthy Instagram post, the iconic songstress expressed her regret and announced plans for a foundation to empower other artists.

“Recently, I was asked about a list of the ‘greatest singers of all time’ and instead of questioning the need for such a list, I was pitted against other artists and I took the bait,” Chaka Khan began. “As artists, we are unfairly put into ‘boxes’, ‘categories’ or on ‘lists.’ Being an artist or musician is not a competition. It’s a gift, for which I am truly grateful.”

She then went on to state: “It was not my intention to cause pain or upset anyone.,” before offering her sincere apologies “to anyone that felt this way.”

Chaka Khan continued, “Thank you for all the love everyone has shown me, unconditionally. I have always been about empowering others and I started a foundation for that very purpose. I will be announcing soon.”

The “Ain’t Nobody” hitmaker rounded out her post with a message of love. “Empowering all artists is most important because we truly are the architects of change…and change begins within the heart.  I love you all and God bless – Chaka,” she concluded.  Check out her post below and listen to her comments at the end of the page.

Chaka Khan Says It Must be “Payola”

During her interview with Andrew Goldman for his The Originals podcast, which aired last week, Chaka Khan suggested that Mariah Carey’s placement at No. 5 on the controversial list must be “payola.”

She also scoffed at Adele landing at No. 22 and Mary J. Blige ranking at 25. “OK, I quit,” she declared. “These are blind b######! They are blind as a m############ bat! They need hearing aids… These must be the children of Helen Keller!” the 69-year-old continued.

GloRilla Reacts To Reports Of Multiple Victims Injured In Stampede Following Rochester Show

GloRilla has responded with shock to reports of chaos following her concert in Rochester, New York, on Sunday night.

Shortly before midnight on Sunday (Mar. 5), concertgoers flocked to social media with reports of several people needing hospital treatment following the show at Main Street Armory.

“Major emergency response at the Main St. Armory after a concert,” one reporter stated. “Had witnesses telling me at least three women were trampled as concertgoers left the venue. I also saw a firefighter performing cpr presumably on a victim on scene.”

Multiple people reported fans were trampled in a stampede at the event, while others reported hearing shots fired. One user claimed the police scanner reported 3 “unconscious” individuals were rushed to hospital after being trampled. They also claimed the fire department called the situation “A mass casualty event.”

Harrowing footage too distressing to share has emerged online showing multiple people lying motionless on the ground as scared fans plea for help.

Elsewhere another report suggested “Possibly up to 5 not breathing,” and a possible overdose, with emergency services being drafted in from other areas to assist. A possible stabbing victim was also said to be transported to Rochester General Hospital.

“I’m so emotional leaving this concert,” said one Twitter user following the GloRilla concert. “Ppl were literally getting trampled, ppl screaming that they can’t breath. like I literally can’t believe my experience.”

The CMG artist reacted to the reports on Twitter, claiming she was unaware of the events that unfolded.

“I’m just now hearing about what happened wtf 😢😢😢,” GloRilla tweeted. “Praying everybody is ok. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼”

Official details are scant at this time. This situation is developing.

50 Cent Says Melle Mel is Out of Touch For Suggesting Eminem’s Successful Because He’s White

50 Cent has fired back at Melle Mel over the comments the Hip-Hop legend made about Eminem.

During a recent interview, the Furious Five member claimed that Slim Shady is only ranked a top-five rapper because he’s white. 50 Cent didn’t like what he was hearing, and took to Instagram to defend Eminem, although he later deleted the post.

“There was more money selling dope than being in Hip Hop when Melle Mel was popping, the culture has grown so much,” Fiddy penned. “I am not sure if it would be what it is today with out artist like Eminem. S### I am not sure I would be who I am with out him but you know it is competitive so n##### gonna hate. LOL f### outta here ! We sucker free.”

Melle Mel Says Eminem Wouldn’t Be A Hip-Hop Great If He Were Black

50 Cent was responding to Melle Mel’s comments about Eminem in a recent interview with the Art of Dialogue.

While Melle Mel acknowledged, “Obviously, he’s a capable rapper,” he pushed back at Em’s Top 5 spot on Billboard’s greatest rappers list.

“If you was talking about sales, he sold more than everybody. “If you talking about rhyme style – OK, he got a rhyme style. But he’s white! He’s white!” Melle Mel declared. “If Eminem was just another n#### like all the rest of us, would he be Top 5 on that list when a n#### that can rhyme just as good as him is 35?”

After stating that he would be “greater than Elvis,” if he were white, Melle Mel doubled down on his stance that Eminem wouldn’t be considered among the Hip-Hop greats if he were Black.

“If he was a Black rapper, he wouldn’t even make the list probably,” Melle Mel said. “Busta [Rhymes] … see this is the difference between who writes what list. Busta, I would say, is the No. 1 rapper overall. Nobody’s gonna take Busta. Busta could rap just as good as Eminem. Eminem, he has his style. He’s got a nice little tricky, gimmicky style … But to say that he would be [able to] sell as many records if he was just another brother, that’s not true. It’s just not.” Watch the interview below.

Lor Sosa & Fat Trel “Extra Mean”

Lor Sosa is a Baltimore-based MC that is leveling up with each release. His melodic sound is taking him next level. When it comes to bars, he is always witty with his verses. He paired with DC legend Fat Trel on his newest visual for “Extra Mean.” Trel is fresh out of jail, but his contributions to “Extra Mean” proves he has not lost one step. The two flashy MCs flex their muscles in the Worldstar Hip Hop video premiere. Both DMV representatives have been on their grind for a while, and fans of both highly anticipated this link-up.

Lor Sosa is coming off the heels of a fantastic 2022. He has used his momentum to leverage better visuals and more significant opportunities from around the industry. He has spent time on both coasts, but he will always have ties to Baltimore. With over 350K followers on Instagram, he is pushing to build a lit career on and off social media. He spent Grammy weekend networking and connecting with plenty of the industry’s A-list stars. His wave is growing, and “Extra Mean” is moving in the right direction.

Michael B. Jordan’s “Creed III” Shatters Rocky’s Box Office Records, And There Are Rumors!

Sylvester Stallone has a long-running beef with a man that bought the rights to Rocky Balboa in 1976, when he was a struggling actor. That original movie was made for about $1 million. And it went on to make nearly $300 million at the box office, according to a report I read. Franchise producer Irwin Winkler is not giving up his prize, even if he took advantage of Sly when he was a young buck. Sly does get paid off it, but only a fraction of what he would if he owned it. And here lies the back story of “Creed III.” This is the first movie in Rocky franchise history that does not feature Rocky Balboa. This movie is definitively about Adonis Creed.

That said: the Michael B. Jordan-directed “Creed III” has broken box office sales records for ALL SPORTS MOVIES. This includes Rocky flicks too. The movie made $58.6 million over the weekend. Shout out to Jonathan Majors, writer Ryan Coogler and MBJ. They are a powerful force that I think will continue to grow in Hollyweird. That said: Sly may never come back to the franchise or he comes back negotiating weak! I do hope he eventually returns, but he better get right with MBJ. The pair had creative differences in addition to the beef with Winkler.

I am seeing a number of rumors on the internet. 1) The Creed franchise will continue past this third iteration. Creed 1 & 2 made hundreds of millions so it is a bankable brand. 2) The next Creed will likely stray further into uncharted waters, as his daughter is looking like somebody of interest. 3) MBJ, Majors and Coogler are probably going to make for a dynamic force in entertainment, as they have already revealed some of those plans. It is an exciting time. 4) Creed 4 is definitely coming.

TikTok recently hosted  their Visionary Voices Black Hollywood Brunch, bringing together the Black community and its allies in honor of visionary creatives and culture change makers in media and entertainment to celebrate Black History Month.

The Visionary Voices Black Hollywood Brunch featured an engaging discussion on trendsetting impact of the Black TikTok community moderated by TikTok’s BlackTikTok Community Manager Alexzi Girma.

The panel featured honorees from BlackTikTok’s inaugural Visionary Voices list including @juicybodygoddess, @kahlilgreene and @_itzpsyiconic_ (aka “Terri Joe”).

@Thirteenlune and @poshcandleco.com’s beauty and candle products were available for attendees as gifts.

A few lucky attendees were also able to win @brandonblackwoodnyc bags as well. The CFDA Award nominee was also on the Visionary Voices list.

Between a perfect brunch spread and vibes curated by DJ Kara, the brunch did not disappoint.

Does Playboi Carti Worship Satan?

Playboi Carti is something else. But, what is he though? That is the real question.

You guys might recalled that Playboi Carti was recently branded a “serial abuse” for choking his then-girlfriend who also happened to be pregnant. This happened in December and he managed to catch an assault charge to go with it. You know that Iggy Azalea, Carti’s ex and BM, co-signed the abuse and reasserted that she was abused as well.

So, there’s that history, but does that add to the rumor that he worships a big, red and evil man-god? It might and it might not. First of all, let me put this here: a girl left Rolling Loud because he sounded “demonic.” Various grunts and sounds didn’t help those rumors either. What was happening during the performance was disturbing too. Carti’s performance at Rolling Loud Cali was cut short after only a few songs. His performance resulted in fans acting a complete fool. Some fans reportedly lit fires, others jumped over barricades and some were injured. Some rumors even stated that somebody died during the performance, but that was not true.

So, about a year ago, I got a rumor about Carti too. I didn’t push it out there because it was already old when the person told me. But Carti reportedly came to a university on the East Coast. I won’t say the exact school, but I will say it is a bigger city. Carti performed at the basketball stadium of the school and a witness said he likely worshipped the big red guy that some say does not exist! First, she said he had an inverted cross. Secondly, he and his people trashed the box office were they occupied, which also means they could be like a rock group. She said he and the crew were “nasty, dirty, devil worshippers” – her words. She also said they didn’t tip. WOW.

DJ Pooh Announces New Series Based On 2001 Film “The Wash” With Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre

DJ Pooh has announced a new series based on the 2001 film, The Wash. On Friday (March 3), DJ Pooh shared a Twitter post featuring a photo of an orange bucket and air freshener with “The Wash” logo. He wrote in the caption, “It all comes out in ‘The Wash.’ New series coming!”

Released in November 2001, The Wash starred Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre alongside appearances by Eminem, Ludacris, Kurupt, Shaquille O’Neal, Xzibit and Pauly Shore. (Eminem was deliberately left uncredited for his role in this film so 8 Mile would be his feature film debut.) DJ Pooh, who also wrote and directed the film, plays a gang member named “Slim.”

The plot revolves around two roommates—Sean (Dr. Dre) and Dee Loc (Snoop Dogg)—who’ve failed to pay their rent. Consequently, their landlord’s given them a three-day eviction notice. So, they agree to get a job at a local car wash, but things go awry rather quickly.

DJ Pooh—who also co-wrote the original Friday film—didn’t provide any further details on the upcoming series. Until that happens, revisit a clip from the O.G. film below.
