50 Cent Mercilessly Clowns Benzino’s Freestyle: “TF Wrong With Him?”

50 Cent wasted no time mocking Benzino over his latest freestyle, using social media to drag the former Source editor and reignite their years-long beef.

The G-Unit founder posted a clip of Benzino’s new trap-style freestyle on Twitter (X) and didn’t hold back. “Yo this is the worst s**t I heard this year, TF wrong with him he 60 years old bro. Nah this ain’t it!” he wrote alongside the video.

The jab is the latest in a series of public shots 50 Cent has taken at Benzino, a feud that has stretched across decades and platforms. While it’s unclear if 50 Cent believed the freestyle contained subliminal disses aimed at him, he rarely misses a chance to escalate their rivalry.

Their animosity dates back to the early 2000s, when Benzino was co-owner of The Source magazine and used the publication to criticize Eminem, 50 Cent’s longtime collaborator. That sparked a bitter back-and-forth, with diss tracks, interviews and social media posts fueling the fire. Over the years, the feud has morphed into a mix of personal insults, snitching accusations and even boxing threats.

Benzino recently challenged 50 Cent to a fight, saying, “We can get in the ring, and I’ll beat your ass Curtis. Yeah. Me and you could get in the ring for that money. 3 rounds, I’ll whoop you. You big and sloppy and too stiff. And I don’t believe all that golden glove s###. Alright, we gon’ put that to the side. Mayweather, holler at me. Believe me. I’ll be his Huckleberry.”

He didn’t stop there. In the same video, Benzino added, “I don’t give a fk about no Internet. I’m solid. 50 Cent, you’re a psy. My nephew, you’re a psy. If there’s any real, real issues, I’m not hard to find. But that’s a fact. What I just said was fact. And the paperwork’s out there. So I don’t want to hear about no snitching st. I don’t want to hear it.”

Despite Benzino’s repeated challenges, 50 Cent has mostly responded with ridicule, often brushing off the threats with memes and sarcastic posts. The two have never come to physical blows, but their verbal war shows no signs of cooling off.

The freestyle that triggered the latest round of insults was posted online earlier this week.

Too $hort, Ying Yang Twins Join Force With ProHoeZak On “What About Me”

Producer ProHoeZak Drops Music Video for “What About Me” Featuring Too $hort & Ying Yang Twins Ahead of Artificial Ignorance

East Palo Alto producer and artist ProHoeZak unveils the first glimpse of his forthcoming album Artificial Ignorance with the release of “What About Me.” The song is a hard-hitting single accompanied by a visually striking video. Featuring iconic West Coast rapper Too $hort and crunk pioneers the Ying Yang Twins, the track is a blunt examination of imbalance in modern relationships.

Pro is known for his deep roots in Bay Area funk and longtime collaborations with legends like Parliament-Funkadelic, Digital Underground and Snoop Dogg. He brings decades of industry experience to this release. But with Artificial Ignorance, he pivots toward the future. The video for “What About Me” was created using AI animation technology. However, this was a stylistic choice. It echoes the project’s title and its commentary on digital-age disconnection and emotional detachment.

Using “The Sounds of West Coast Funk” expansion kit for the Akai MPC Key 37, ProHoeZak blends G-funk basslines with Southern bounce. The combination of Too $hort’s seasoned slickness and the Ying Yang Twins’ high-energy delivery reinforces the track’s central warning. Kindness without boundaries can easily be manipulated.

“What About Me” sets the tone for Artificial Ignorance, a project exploring the absurdities of modern relationships, culture, and tech-fueled interaction. The single is now available on all major platforms, with the full album release expected soon.

British Rapper Sentenced To Life For Killing Charity Worker Over Rap Video

British rapper Renai Belle was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday (July 9) for the brutal, premeditated killing of charity worker Josh McKay after McKay refused to fund one of his rap videos, a London court found.

The 30-year-old rapper, who goes by Topz, stabbed McKay in the neck inside a Leyton barbershop on July 6, 2024, while McKay’s young son watched in horror.

The attack spilled into the street, where passersby tried to help, but the 33-year-old father of two died at the scene.

The Old Bailey heard that Belle’s motive stemmed from jealousy and rage after McKay declined to bankroll a music video. Belle had previously threatened McKay in a rap video, which prosecutors played during the trial.

“This was a savage and pre-planned attack, committed in broad daylight and with scant regard for passers-by,” said Detective Inspector Chris Griffith, who led the investigation. “What took place left the local community reeling, and two young children without their father.”

Victim’s Mother Speaks Out Following Sentencing

Before the stabbing, Belle drove with his ex-girlfriend, Tenika Parker, to pick up a knife and a balaclava from another man, Daniel Cooper. After the killing, Belle returned to Parker’s home to shower and try to destroy evidence.

Despite his efforts, police found blood traces and the shoes he wore during the attack inside Parker’s car. He was arrested two days later after a citywide manhunt.

Parker was convicted of perverting the course of justice and possessing a knife. She was sentenced to two years and three months. Cooper, who supplied the weapon, had already been sentenced for possessing a blade.

McKay worked with young people leaving foster care, helping them transition into jobs and housing. His mother, Bash Kehinde, said the sentencing brought no comfort.

“Today’s sentencing changes nothing for me and my family,” she said. “I will never see my beautiful son and his two children will now face life without their hero.”

Belle must serve at least 28 years before he is eligible for parole.

Boosie Badazz Rages Over Gilbert Arenas’ Arrest In Poker Case; Calls Out Racial Bias

Boosie Badazz unloaded on social media Wednesday (July 31) over Gilbert Arenas’ federal indictment tied to a high-stakes poker ring, calling the charges “b#######” and accusing the justice system of racial bias.

The Baton Rouge rapper didn’t hold back, defending the former NBA All-Star and slamming what he sees as a double standard in how Black public figures are treated when it comes to private gambling.

“THIS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE EARLY 1900s,” Boosie wrote on X. “THIS IS ANOTHER TACTIC TO TAKE ‘US’ DOWN. N IM NOT RACIST BUT THEY NOT GO LOCK UP A WHITE ATHLETE / ENTERTAINER UP FOR PLAYIN POKER AT HIS DAM HOUSE WITH HIS MILLIONAIRE FRIENDS.”

Boosie compared Arenas’ alleged poker setup to a casual dice game among friends, saying the whole thing was being blown out of proportion. “Set a poker game at his spot n won off the hands played,” he posted, arguing that entertainers and athletes have long hosted similar gatherings without legal trouble.

He also dismissed reports about the custom poker table bearing Arenas’ name, calling it “HOUSE DECORATIONS” and noting that many wealthy homeowners personalize their game rooms.

“ANOTHER TACTIC TO TAKE THE BLACK MAN DOWN. THE TRUTH HURTS,” Boosie added.

Gilbert Arenas Released On $50,000 Bond

Arenas, once known on the court as “Agent Zero,” was arrested and charged with three felonies: conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business, operating an illegal gambling business and making false statements to federal agents.

Federal prosecutors allege that from September 2021 through July 2022, Arenas’ Encino mansion was used to host underground poker nights, complete with armed security, private chefs, valets and women hired to serve drinks, give massages and keep players company. The indictment claims Arenas collected a rake from each game and coordinated with others to run the operation.

One of his co-defendants, Yevgeni Gershman, is described as a suspected Israeli organized crime figure who allegedly managed the games and recruited the women, who were required to pay a cut of their tips back to the operation.

The poker setup included a custom table labeled “ARENAS POKER CLUB” featuring a silhouette of Arenas and his jersey number zero.

Arenas pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Tuesday (July 30) and was released on a $50,000 bond. If convicted, he could face multiple years behind bars.

After his release, Arenas posted a video on Instagram denying involvement and hinting he would fully cooperate with authorities.

“This aint got shyt to do with me ‘just rented the house’ Wasnt apart of the Festivities,” he said. “#SnitchingGilComingSOON.”

Rick Ross & Benzino Mock 50 Cent Over Daphne Joy & Diddy Rumors

Rick Ross and Benzino are reigniting their feud with 50 Cent, dragging his ex Daphne Joy into the fray over her alleged ties to Diddy.

Rozay took a swipe at 50 Cent on Instagram, joking that 50’s young son Sire might need therapy—and a Chihuahua—to cope.

“I’m a buy him a puppy,” Ross said, suggesting a small dog might help the child deal with what he called future “trauma.”

Benzino also revived his long-running beef with 50 Cent by firing back after the rapper mocked his new freestyle “YN-Z.” On Wednesday (July 30), 50 posted a clip of the track on Instagram.

“The worst s### I heard this year,” he wrote. “TF wrong with him he 60 years old bro. Nah this ain’t it!”

Benzino didn’t waste time firing back. In an Instagram video, he challenged 50 Cent to a three-round celebrity boxing match and mocked his appearance, saying, “You got the body of a 65-year-old retired NFL lineman.” He also went after 50’s hairline and fashion sense.

But the most personal blow came when Benzino dragged 50’s ex, Daphne Joy, into the mix, referencing her alleged involvement in the ongoing legal drama surrounding Diddy.

“What you should be doing, is explaining to little Bruce Leroy [Sire] why Sleaze, Diddy, and a bunch of n##### were slutting her out,” he said. “I think he’s gonna have to owe him an explanation when he get older.”

The latest round of insults adds another layer to the years-long tension between 50 Cent and both Benzino and Rick Ross.

Diddy Demands Acquittal Or New Trial Over “Unconstitutional” Conviction

Sean “Diddy” Combs is pushing for a clean slate or a courtroom do-over after being convicted on two federal counts tied to transporting women for paid sex across state lines, according to new motions filed by his legal team in New York.

The embattled Hip-Hop mogul’s attorneys are asking the court to either toss out the guilty verdicts or grant a new trial, arguing the evidence presented during the eight-week trial failed to support the charges.

The case stems from violations of the Mann Act, a century-old law prohibiting the interstate transport of individuals for prostitution.

While Diddy was cleared of the more severe allegations — including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, which could have landed him a life sentence — the jury found him guilty on two lesser counts involving what prosecutors described as organizing travel for so-called “freak offs” with escorts and his longtime partner.

His defense team insists the government’s case was built on weak evidence and sensationalism.

They claim prosecutors “painted him as a monster” and that the jury’s decision to acquit on the most serious charges proves the case lacked substance.

“Sean Combs sits in jail based on evidence that he paid adult male escorts and entertainers who engaged in consensual sexual activities with his former girlfriends, which he videotaped and later watched with the girlfriends. That is not prostitution, and if it is, his conviction is unconstitutional,” the filing says.

They also argue that Diddy neither arranged for escorts to travel nor engaged in prostitution himself, noting he did not have sex with the women involved.

The legal team says the Mann Act was misapplied and that the charges unfairly targeted his private lifestyle.

If the court refuses to overturn the verdict, Diddy’s lawyers are requesting a new trial, citing insufficient evidence to support the jury’s decision on the two counts.

Diddy Seeks Bond With $50 Million Package

In a separate filing earlier this week, his attorneys renewed their push for pre-sentencing release on a $50 million bond.

They proposed a strict bail package that would keep Diddy at his Miami residence, require him to surrender his passport and limit his travel to the Southern Districts of Florida and New York for legal matters.

They argue that “exceptional circumstances” — including alleged threats to his safety at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center — justify his release, and point out that others convicted under similar charges have been granted bail while awaiting sentencing.

So far, the court has denied his bond requests, citing past domestic violence incidents and concerns he may pose a threat to others.

Detroit’s Ashwin Gane Unleashes ‘Twilight Tales’ & Redefines Trap Music

Ashwin Gane isn’t just releasing music. He’s engineering worlds. The Detroit-born, Indian-American phenom is stepping into the spotlight with Twilight Tales, an orchestral trap odyssey set to drop August 1, signaling his arrival as one of the boldest new voices in the genre.

With more than 6.5 million streams, 5 million video views, and a growing fanbase that’s packing out venues, Ashwin’s doing it all without a major label, industry co-sign or compromise.

“This isn’t just an EP,” Gane tells AllHipHop. “Every track is a chapter. Every lyric is a strategy. It’s a blueprint for survival in a cold world.”

He’s got 808s fused with haunting pianos, ghostlike choirs and auteur-level visuals – Christopher Nolan vibes. Twilight Tales isn’t just an EP. It’s a full-blown cinematic anthology in 10 parts. Each track builds on the previous track.

“I made this for those who lead quietly and win loudly,” he said.

Leading the charge is “Leeches,” a gut-punch of a single that dissects betrayal with bone-chilling precision. The music video, which racked up over 160,000 views in 10 days, looks more like a short film than your average trap visual. “Energy” has over a million views on YouTube. The EP includes the Billboard-charting “Regret It”, unreleased heaters like “Drowning” and “All Away,” and two cinematic remixes that push the boundaries of production and emotion.

If the music wasn’t enough, Ashwin is taking Twilight Tales to the people. He’s currently hitting Texas and Oklahoma on Phora’s Yours Truly: Texas Takeover Tour with dates in El Paso, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, OKC, and Dallas. And on August 16-17, he returns home for Ashwin Gane Presents Dream Cruise, an immersive live experience in Detroit.

And his reach is only growing. This fall, Gane will bring his cinematic trap saga to the NFL and NBA with scheduled halftime performances at the Chargers’ SoFi Stadium and the Clippers’ Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

Ashwin co-created Twilight Tales with Grammy-winning writer Poo Bear and R&B disruptor Justin Love.

He calls it “Mythic Trap,” a new genre altogether. With roots in Detroit and cultural bloodlines that stretch to South Asia, Ashwin Gane is positioning himself not just as a cultural architect.

Ashwin Gane is offering listeners a full cinematic experience, one chapter at a time.

Tyler, the Creator’s latest album, Don’t Tap the Glass, dropped without warning on Monday (July 21) and still managed to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 197,000 equivalent units sold in just four days, according to Luminate. The off-cycle release didn’t slow momentum, and Tyler acknowledged the moment in an Instagram Story earlier this week.

“Thank you to everyone who chose to give this a listen,” he wrote. “Announcing it just two days prior and reaching number one in such a brief period means a lot. Thank you. Spread the word!”

Meanwhile, Chromakopia, his eighth studio album, officially went Platinum in mid-July, marking over 1 million units sold in the U.S.

Meek Mill Calls Out Shannon Sharpe’s ESPN Exit After Lawsuit Settlement

Meek Mill weighed in on Shannon Sharpe losing his ESPN role this week, just days after settling a high-profile rape lawsuit.

The Philly rapper hopped online with his blunt reaction late Wednesday night (July 30). He wrote, “Yall too old to be getting fired fr.”

The comment came hours after news broke that Sharpe would not return to ESPN, following the resolution of a $50 million civil lawsuit filed in April by a woman identified as “Jane Doe.”

Sharpe addressed his departure on his “Nightcap” podcast Wednesday (July 30). He revealed he had asked ESPN to delay the announcement until after his brother Sterling Sharpe’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction.

“The only thing that I really asked is, ‘Guys, could we wait until Monday? My brother’s going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I really want it to be about him and I want it to be about my family,” Sharpe explained. “I said, ‘This coming out will overshadow everything he’s worked his entire life for.’ And, unfortunately, it didn’t happen that way.”

Sharpe added, “They did what they felt they needed to do, I’m at peace with that. I just wish this thing could’ve waited until Monday because I hate the fact that I am overshadowing my brother.”

The suit, lodged in Nevada, accused Sharpe of sexual assault, battery and inflicting emotional distress during alleged incidents in late 2024 and early 2025.

Sharpe denied the allegations through his legal team, calling the relationship “entirely consensual” and describing the lawsuit as a “shakedown.”

The case was settled in July, though the terms were not made public. No criminal charges have been filed.

ESPN has not issued a formal statement on the decision or its timing, though multiple outlets confirmed the separation followed the settlement.

Meek Mill Faced Backlash Over Photos

Back in April, Meek Mill caught heat online for posting a photo with two White female fans shortly after the lawsuit against Sharpe became public. Critics accused him of being tone-deaf. Meek dismissed the backlash, writing, “It’s a regular pic with fans. Internet melting the minds of the black community wthelly.”

Sharpe had taken a break from ESPN after Doe filed the lawsuit. However he had initially planned to return for the 2025 NFL season.

EXCLUSIVE: Megan Thee Stallion Wants Tory Lanez Sanctioned For Refusing To Explain Crazy Deposition

Megan Thee Stallion is urging a Florida federal judge to penalize Tory Lanez after he failed to explain his erratic conduct during a court-ordered deposition in her ongoing defamation lawsuit.

Megan’s attorneys have asked the judge to impose sanctions on Lanez for ignoring an April 17 order that required him to justify why he should not be held in contempt. The order followed a deposition on April 9 that quickly unraveled into what Megan’s legal team described as “bad faith” conduct.

Lanez is currently incarcerated in California, where he is serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He was formally served with the order but never responded by the April 30 deadline.

Megan’s lawyers noted that no hearing has been scheduled yet and have now filed a formal notice to move the process forward. They are asking the court to force Tory Lanez to cover all legal fees related to the deposition and to appoint a special master—at Lanez’s expense—to oversee any future testimony.

If that’s not granted, they’ve requested a hearing as soon as possible.

The deposition, conducted via Zoom from prison, was part of Megan’s $10 million defamation case against YouTuber Milagro Gramz.

The lawsuit accuses Gramz of spreading false claims about Megan’s mental health, honesty under oath and alleged substance abuse, allegedly in coordination with Lanez and his father.

During the deposition, Tory Lanez repeatedly interrupted proceedings, mocked the process and insulted Megan’s attorney, Mari Henderson.

At one point, he said, “Your hair is distracting me. There’s a reason for what I am asking. Your hair is distracting me.” He also added, “She should have waited to wait for that hair dye. It is the wrong blonde.”

He challenged Henderson’s authority to question him and made sarcastic remarks about basic legal terms. When asked to define “meet,” Lanez launched into a tangent: “Meat could be a hot dog; meat could be a steak.”

The deposition was cut short after about an hour due to his refusal to cooperate.

Just weeks after the failed deposition, Tory Lanez was stabbed 14 times inside the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. The May 12 attack left him with collapsed lungs and multiple injuries to his back, torso, head and face. He has since recovered enough to breathe without assistance.

The court has yet to schedule a hearing on the contempt motion.

Dr. Dre’s Mixing Console Used For Iconic Albums Breaks Auction Record

Dr. Dre‘s legendary SSL 4000 G+ mixing console used to craft era-defining albums by Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, JAY-Z, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani and Mary J. Blige  fetched $165,000 at auction, setting a new high-water mark for Hip-Hop studio gear.

The sale, handled by memorabilia platform The Realest, shattered the previous record of $69,000 held by RZA’s E-mu SP-1200 drum machine, which was used on Wu-Tang Clan’s 1993 debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).

The console, currently on display at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, was purchased by collector Ryan Zurrer, who shared his excitement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Grateful to pick up the signature instrument that Dre took the time to perfect the beat… brought the oldies, taught you to smoke trees… still DRE,” Zurrer posted. “This iconic part of hip-hop history will be available to the public (at the Hip Hop Museum)—because it ain’t no fun if the homies can’t have none.”

The auction, titled “Straight Outta the West Coast Hip-Hop,” also featured memorabilia from N.W.A’s DJ Yella,  Snoop Dogg, Xzibit and others. Items included DJ Yella’s RIAA plaque for Straight Outta Compton, handwritten lyrics by Snoop and signed scripts and art proofs from Xzibit.

The Realest, known for authenticating and selling rare collectibles, works with major sports leagues like the NFL and NBA, as well as entertainment brands including NBC/Universal, Paramount Pictures and artists like J Balvin.

A pioneering force in Hip-Hop, Dr. Dre rose to prominence with N.W.A. before launching a solo career that redefined West Coast rap. His 1992 debut, The Chronic, became a cultural milestone, and his production work helped shape the careers of Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar. Dre’s influence extends beyond music into business, with his Beats by Dre brand becoming a global success.

Ryan Coogler & Regina King Teaming Up On Harlem Horror? “Bitter Root” Rumors Swirl

Regina King. Ryan Coogler. Monsters. Harlem in the 1920s.

This is reportedly happening, people. As Sinners continues its successful run, we have another one on the horizon. The energy brewing right now could an epic conversion from a most daring comic book to the big screen. Yes, an incredible adaptation is on deck, according to reports. Word on the street is Bitter Root, the award-winning comic, is getting the Hollywood treatment. The series blends horror, history and Hip-Hop-level swagger together. You saw the names. There are powerhouses pushing this to the light.

Bitter Root is set in 1924 Harlem and follows a Black family of monster hunters. But these aren’t your average monsters. They’re called Jinoo and they’re born from hate and racism. When hatred takes over a human soul, it literally transforms them into a creature. And this family, which has its own trauma and beliefs, has to come back together to stop the evil.

According to internet reports, Regina King is directing and producing the movie. Yes, Regina King, who we love from 227. She’s all grown up and has pushed out classics like One Night in Miami and Watchmen.

Ryan Coogler and wife Zinzi Coogler are allegedly producing it under their banner Proximity Media with Sev Ohanian. David F. Walker, Sanford Greene and Chuck Brown. Bitter Root‘s creators are reportedly locked in as executive producers. That means the source material will be right and exact.

The script is being retooled as we speak and there’s no release date yet. I’m thinking this will be like Jordan Peele-style social horror set in the Harlem Renaissance. One source told me, “It’s gonna flip the superhero genre on its head.” I’m here for it.

Bitter Root is not your typical capes-and-costumes flick. It’s comic pulp meets politics. With Regina King at the helm, this could be the film that changes how Hollywood handles our stories. Well, Sinners kind of did that already, but we can always take a few more.

Here are some pics of the Bitter Root (Middle: David F. Walker and Sanford Greene) crew and the AllHipHop squad (Chris Brown and Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur) a few years ago.

Keefe D Begs Supreme Court To Dismiss 2Pac Murder Case—Claims Snitching Was Protected

Keefe D wants out of his murder case, and he’s telling Nevada’s top court that his years of snitching should’ve kept him safe from ever getting charged.

The 62-year-old Duane “Keefe D” Davis is trying to get his case tossed, saying he had a deal with law enforcement that protected him from getting jammed up after talking about what really happened the night Tupac Shakur got gunned down in Vegas in 1996.

Keefe’s legal team is pressing the Nevada Supreme Court to shut the case down, claiming his old cooperation with cops came with promises that his words wouldn’t get thrown back at him.

But those same interviews, confessions and even his book are now the backbone of the state’s case against him.

“Mr. Davis cooperated with law enforcement over the course of more than a decade, relying on repeated assurances that his statements would not be used against him — yet those very statements now form the core of the state’s case,” his lawyer Carl Arnold told ABC in a statement. “That is a clear due process violation. This case is under scrutiny both nationally and internationally. In such a high-profile prosecution, it’s critical that our justice system not only uphold the law, but be seen to be fair, consistent, and constitutional.”

The murder case, which sat cold for nearly three decades, came back to life after Keefe started talking in interviews and dropped a memoir, Compton Street Legend, laying it all out.

Prosecutors say he ran point on the hit, handed out the gun and rode in the car that pulled up on Tupac and Suge Knight near the Vegas Strip on September 7, 1996.

Tupac Shakur, 25, was shot four times and died six days later. Suge Knight was grazed and survived.

Hours before the shooting, Pac and his crew had jumped Keefe’s nephew Orlando Anderson inside the MGM Grand. Cops say that the fight triggered the revenge hit that killed the rap legend.

Keefe, a known Crips shot-caller from South Central, got indicted in 2023 and locked up in Vegas. He’s pleaded not guilty and is still sitting behind bars waiting for trial, which got pushed to early 2026.

He also made headlines claiming Diddy offered him millions to take out Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight. Diddy has consistently denied any part in the hit and hasn’t been charged.

Keefe’s defense says there’s no physical evidence, no eyewitnesses and no corroborating evidence to support the confessions.

Now, the state’s highest court will decide if Keefe’s snitch deal covers him, or if he’s finally gonna face a jury.

Karrueche Tran, Coach Prime & Internet Side-Eyes: Are They Dating Or…Godfamily?

Karrueche Tran and Deion Sanders have the Internet all caught up. It’s a mess out here. First came the tears, then came the bedside vigil. Now comes the rumor that has me rubbing my temples. People are saying Karrueche Tran is really Coach Prime’s goddaughter. WTHELLY?

Let’s run it back.

Last week, Karrueche Tran was front and center in a new docu-series, For Your Glory, produced by Deion Sanders Jr. In the footage, the actress/model was seen weeping at the hospital as Sanders underwent surgery to remove cancer from his bladder. It was hard to watch. She held his hand and asked the hard questions. All we saw was a devoted partner or really invested family member. The internet chose… the former. But then there are the rumors.

The dating rumors are hitting harder than Ray Lewis. Folks can’t help but mention the 20-year age gap. Deion Sanders is 57 (almost 58). Karrueche Tran is 37 and glowing. He’s recovering from a major surgery. She’s in what society insists is her “prime.” Love can come in different forms, people.

But it does get murky. What if she’s actually his goddaughter? The chatter was that Karrueche Tran’s father was once a football player and that’s how she and Sanders became family. Based on what I have looked up, (which is simply Google), it’s not checking out.

Digi-archives don’t show any substantial info about her father being in the NFL or even affiliated with Deion Sanders. Honestly, her dad has been respectfully absent from the public eye or something else…just M.I.A. The court of public opinion is still looking. Social media detectives have been dusting off old Karrueche Tran pics, digging through vacation shots and questioning it all. They say she’s trying to “secure the bag.”

Sanders definitely has a bag to be secured. He’s worth somewhere from $45 million to $70 million. Either number makes him one of the most valuable coach/influencers in the country. Neither Karrueche Tran or Coach Prime have said a word.

Honestly, I just hope he’s got someone solid by his side. Whether she’s the girlfriend, goddaughter or just a compassionate companion. If Karrueche Tran is there for love—good. And if she’s not? Well, as long as she’s helping him heal—keep it up. Keep his spirits high. They are both deeply religious and that might be the true connective tissue. This has to be a spiritually, emotionally and physically grueling recovery. God can get us through all things.

Coach Prime is reportedly staying in the game. Personally, I’d like to see him get some real rest. But if he’s gonna keep pushing, he’ll need support. We’ll stay on this one.

MAGA Melts Down Over Oprah Winfrey’s Road In Maui During Tsunami Alert

Oprah Winfrey became the center of a swirling online controversy after social media users accused her of blocking evacuees from using her private road in Maui during a tsunami scare triggered by a powerful offshore earthquake.

The magnitude 8.8 quake struck off the coast of Russia, prompting tsunami alerts across several regions, including Hawaii, Japan and parts of the U.S. West Coast.

As thousands of Hawaiians scrambled to reach higher ground, gridlock gripped the island. Amid the chaos, rumors spread that Winfrey had refused to open her gated access road in the Kula region, where she reportedly owns 1,000 acres.

Her team wasted no time shutting that narrative down.

“As soon as we heard the tsunami warnings, we contacted local law enforcement and FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) to ensure the road was opened,” a spokesperson told The Mirror. “Any reports otherwise are false. Local law enforcement are currently on site helping residents through 50 cars at a time to ensure everyone’s safety. The road will remain open as long as necessary.”

The backlash surfaced quickly on platforms like X and Instagram, where users accused the media mogul of prioritizing privacy over public safety. The claims, however, were not supported by local authorities.

According to BBC News, Hawaii’s tsunami warning was later downgraded to an advisory, with officials anticipating strong currents and minor coastal flooding rather than a full-scale disaster.

By Tuesday night (July 29), Hawaii Emergency Management Agency director Stephen Logan confirmed that evacuees were cleared to return to their homes.

EXCLUSIVE: Roc Nation CEO, Daughter Set For Courtroom Showdown That Includes Meta Rep

Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez will face off with her daughter Demoree Hadley during a hearing in Miami on Thursday (July 31) as part of a high-stakes legal clash over alleged violations of a social media gag order tied to a bitter family lawsuit.

The showdown is set for 2 P.M. before Magistrate Judge Lauren Louis, where Perez‘s legal team will argue that Hadley knowingly broke a court directive by posting restricted content online, including a controversial video and interview clips.

The courtroom drama stems from a lawsuit Hadley filed in May 2025, accusing her mother—the CEO of Roc Nation—of orchestrating her involuntary psychiatric commitment under Florida’s Baker and Marchman Acts.

Hadley claims Perez falsely reported she was suicidal and abusing drugs, which led to her being hospitalized for nearly two weeks.

In the same suit, Hadley also alleges Perez interfered in her marriage by falsely accusing her husband of domestic violence. Perez and Roc Nation have denied all claims and filed motions to dismiss the case and strike specific allegations.

Tensions escalated after the court issued a gag order on June 25, 2025, barring Hadley and her husband from making public statements about the case.

Roc Nation argues that Hadley ignored the order by sharing clips from an interview she conducted with online personality Tasha K, which went viral and drew intense online scrutiny

Roc Nation claims the post was designed to embarrass Desiree Perez and provoke public backlash.

Hadley insists the post was an accident. She says Tasha K tagged her as a collaborator, which automatically published the video to her Instagram page. According to Hadley, she removed the post as soon as she realized it violated the order.

Roc Nation contends the move was intentional and claims it led to a surge in threatening messages directed at Perez and her legal team, including death threats.

The situation worsened when Hadley posted a second video featuring a private conversation between Perez and her stepsister.

The footage, allegedly obtained through a home security system owned by Perez, included discussions about Roc Nation and personal matters unrelated to the lawsuit.

To support their case, Roc Nation plans to call multiple witnesses, including Alistair Thompson from Guidepost Solutions LLC and a representative from Meta Platforms Inc.

Hadley and her husband, Javon, may also be asked to testify to verify the authenticity of the social media posts.

Hadley’s attorneys argue the post was not deliberate and say their client acted quickly to comply with the court’s order. They plan to challenge the severity of the accusations and oppose any disciplinary action.

Perez is asking the court to issue a new order forcing Hadley to delete all related posts and banning her from sharing any further content about the case.

The court may also impose sanctions on Hadley, including possible contempt charges.

The outcome of the July 31 hearing could influence the direction of the broader lawsuit, which is scheduled for a jury trial on October 5, 2026.

Shannon Sharpe Cut From ESPN After Rape Allegation Settlement

Shannon Sharpe has officially parted ways with ESPN less than two weeks after settling a civil lawsuit in which a woman accused him of rape and abuse during their relationship, according to The Athletic.

The former NFL star and media personality has not appeared on the network since late April, shortly after the $50 million lawsuit was filed. ESPN has not issued a public statement regarding his departure.

The civil complaint, filed in April by a woman identified as Jane Doe, alleged that Sharpe sexually assaulted her twice—in October 2024 and January 2025—during a relationship that began in 2023, when the two met at a Los Angeles gym. She also claimed he recorded their intimate encounters without her consent and made threats of violence.

Sharpe denied the accusations, calling the lawsuit a “shakedown” and asserting the relationship was consensual. His attorney, Lanny Davis, said Sharpe had previously offered $10 million to settle the matter before it was filed, but the woman declined.

Last week, the woman’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, announced the case had been resolved and dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. No terms of the settlement were disclosed.

Sharpe had previously stated he intended to return to ESPN in time for NFL training camp. That return obviously won’t happen.

Before his media career took off, Sharpe made his name on the football field. A three-time Super Bowl champion, he retired in 2003 as the NFL’s all-time leader among tight ends in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns—milestones later surpassed. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Following his retirement, Sharpe transitioned into broadcasting, gaining widespread attention as co-host of FS1’s Undisputed alongside Skip Bayless. After leaving that show in 2023, he joined ESPN and launched two successful podcasts, Club Shay Shay and Nightcap, both of which drew millions of subscribers and featured high-profile interviews.

Ozzy Osbourne Gets King-Worthy Send Off With Thousands Attending Funeral Procession

Ozzy Osbourne drew tens of thousands to the streets of Birmingham on Wednesday (July 30) as mourners lined Broad Street to honor the late Black Sabbath icon with a public funeral procession following his death on July 22 at age 76.

The hearse carrying Osbourne’s casket passed the Black Sabbath Bridge, where his widow, Sharon Osbourne, and their children Aimee, Jack and Kelly Osbourne stepped out to take in the sea of tributes left by grieving supporters. Sharon, visibly emotional and looking dangerously frail, leaned on her children as they walked together. After a few quiet minutes at the bridge, she turned to the crowd and raised Ozzy’s trademark peace sign.

The crowd erupted into chants of “Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy, oi oi oi!” and “Thank you, Ozzy” as the family returned to the vehicle. Purple floral arrangements spelling out “Ozzy” rested atop the casket. A private memorial was scheduled for later that day at an undisclosed location, limited to close friends and family.

Earlier in the day, a local brass band kicked off the procession with renditions of Osbourne’s classics, including “Iron Man.” The tribute followed Osbourne’s final public appearance in Birmingham earlier this month during “Back to the Beginning,” a farewell concert celebrating Black Sabbath’s legacy. Though seated due to spinal injuries and Parkinson’s disease, Osbourne attended the event and was described as being in good spirits.

Ozzy’s death marked the end of a decades-long career that helped shape heavy metal and redefine rock performance.

Known for his haunting vocals and theatrical stage presence, Osbourne rose to fame in the 1970s as the frontman of Black Sabbath. With tracks like “Paranoid,” “War Pigs” and “Iron Man,” the band laid the foundation for heavy metal. Osbourne later found solo success with hits like “Crazy Train” and “Mr. Crowley,” and became a pop culture fixture through his reality TV show, The Osbournes, and his unfiltered public persona.

Concerns have also grown around Sharon Osbourne’s health following her emotional appearance at the procession. Supporters online expressed worry after seeing her visibly distressed and physically leaning on her children. Sharon, 71, has previously spoken about her own medical issues, including a hospitalization in 2022. She has lost a drastic amount of weight in the interim, and fans are worried she could suffer further health complications due to Ozzy’s death.

“Seeing Sharon so fragile at the Black Sabbath bench, standing in front of all the tributes, completely shattered it was so hard to watch,” one person wrote. “She looked like a woman holding herself together by a thread, surrounded by so much love and yet completely lost without him.”

Another added, “Sharon Osbourne is inconsolable. Mannnn, i hope she survives the heartbreak. She really loved Ozzy.”

The fast-food chain rolled out the partnership Tuesday (July 29) on Instagram with a post that read, “Glo Da P ain’t ever steered you wrong — 4 items for $4?! The collab is more than a marketing move—it’s a personal milestone. GloRilla, born and raised in Memphis, worked at a Checkers location in 2016 while finishing high school.

“Checkers is where I got my start, and now I’ve got a meal deal with my name on it,” GloRilla said in a statement. “Life comes with ups and downs, but this moment means a lot to me. I’m grateful to Checkers & Rally’s for riding with me—and trust, it’s all the flavor and all the fire, for just four bucks.”

GloRilla’s Checkers Deal Marks Full Circle Moment

A resurfaced video shows her taking orders at the drive-thru, long before she became a Grammy-nominated artist.

Now, she’s not just serving food—she’s starring in a national campaign. The rollout includes a commercial series titled “One Big Collab,” spotlighting her journey from employee to brand partner.

The timing couldn’t be better. GloRilla has been trending for more than just her music.

She recently posted videos flaunting her gym gains in revealing outfits. “Natural no bbl,” she captioned one clip. “But I’m still gone give em hell.”

She also rang in her 26th birthday with a Cabo getaway, where she was spotted getting close with NBA player Brandon Ingram.

Just days earlier, she hosted the first-ever “GloRilla & Friends GLO Bash” on Friday (July 25) at FedExForum in Memphis—a full-circle moment that brought her back to the city where her career began.

That concert followed her arrest on felony drug charges following a police search of her home..
