Eddie Murphy Returns For ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ Sequel At Netflix

Eddie Murphy will reprise his role as Axel Foley in a new Beverly Hills Cop movie.

According to Deadline, production has begun on a sequel titled Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley. The film is coming to Netflix, which secured a licensing deal for a fourth entry in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise.

Taylour Paige and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have reportedly joined the cast of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer also returns to the franchise after producing the first two films in the Eddie Murphy-led series.

Mark Molloy will direct the upcoming movie. Will Beall wrote the script.

The first Beverly Hills Cop film debuted in 1984. Eddie Murphy starred as Axel Foley, a Detroit cop who goes to Beverly Hills to solve his friend’s murder.

Beverly Hills Cop became a huge hit, spawning two sequels. The second movie premiered in 1987 and a third followed in 1994.

A fourth Beverly Hills Cop film has been teased for years. Last year, Eddie Murphy said he’d only portray Axel Foley again if he read a good script for a new sequel.

“They’ve been trying to make another Beverly Hills Cop for 15 years now,” he said in an interview with Desus and Mero. “Right now, Netflix has it, and they’re trying to develop a script. That’s what we’re supposed to be doing next. But I’m not doing nothing until the script is right.”

Rapper Mike Vallejo Highlights Experience Working On New EP SeamLAess

Various industries are changing drastically as the modern world progresses. Independent producers are making more and more music for the masses. Thanks to social media and digital media, giant labels no longer have the final say in what can and cannot be released. This allows musicians like Mike Vallejo to express their creativity more freely and control their sound more fully. Portland-based, Mikey Vallejo knows about adaptation, as he wears multiple hats in music and in business. He recalls freestyle battling in the high school cafeteria in front of his student body, crushing challengers while dreaming about when he would be able to drop his own EP.

A talented songwriter and producer, he deserves recognition for his unmatched skills. Both music enthusiasts and fans have praised him for his impeccable ability to put words together. The marketing and promotional strategies he has employed have also demonstrated a remarkable understanding of business. Lyricists also took inspiration from producers like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and others.

His belief that artists should be able to handle distribution, marketing, and overall engagement processes involved in building a good brand prompted him to hone his business skills. To thrive in the fiercely competitive music scene, Mike emphasizes that one must possess an entrepreneurial mindset in addition to talent. He compares the music industry to a fight game in which labels invest 90% of their efforts into thoroughbreds and 10% in artist development.

By utilizing NFTs, a gifted hip-hop artist is taking things to a whole new level. An innovative individual explained the inspiration behind the idea, saying, “I developed and tested specific engagements for music platforms like Spotify, iTunes, and Apple Music. Some labels were using outdated models in some cases. Today, leading artists are using cryptocurrency and NFTs as integral parts of their marketing strategies.”

He went on to add, “An interesting strategy to leverage is offering NFTs in lieu of other checkout methods, giving fans the rights and license to the music to promote, leverage and reuse at their discretion. Through this methodical approach, artists can raise upfront liquidity which in the past was loaned out by the label, where artists would be incentivized to just work harder to earn more.”

The visionary believes a decentralized platform in the music scene will effectively give back authority to artists and level the playing field. Furthermore, he realizes that NFTs can help eliminate the discriminatory nature of giant music labels towards new artists.

Mike Vallejo is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air in the music scene who advocates for himself and his fellow musicians who are striving to find their place in the industry. Moving forward, the outstanding hip-hop artist plans to continue making captivating music. But, more importantly, he remains steadfast in his mission of building an industry that welcomes all kinds of artists and fosters creativity.

Wild Alligator Waiting In Mississippi Popeyes Drive-Thru

It is the dang on biscuits… nobody or nothing can resist them.

A real live alligator was found in a local Popeye’s restaurant in Laurel, Mississippi, on Leontyne Price Boulevard last week (August 22nd).

According to WREG, authorities believe the extended rainy weather might have been the reason the three-foot reptile came through the chicken spot’s drive-thru.

Laurel Police Chief Tommy Cox said because the rain pours, more might pop up, so neighbors should keep their pets inside, just in case a gator gets crazy.

Witnesses called animal control to secure the wild animal, and by the time of their arrival, the gator had moved from the car lane and gone over to the fast-food joint’s dumpster.

An officer had to secure the alligator with a catch pole and placed the reptile in a dog box in the rear of his vehicle.

It took two people to get the alligator back to the wild. The officer was joined by the game warden with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) to liberate the beast outside of the city limits.

One animal control supervisor informed WREG it is not uncommon and that they catch about one gather every year. However, this makes the second one picked up this year.

While being relocated, the alligator was not harmed, according to the source.

Atlanta And New York Rappers Top A Viral 50 Worst Rappers Of All Time List

Another Hip-Hop list has gone viral, causing an uproar with fans who are mad that their rapper made the list.

The list posted by Ekin Lee, aka Mr. Kindness, is the “50 Worst Rappers of All Time” and places Silk the Shocker in the number 1 spot.

The South is heavy on the list. Louisiana had three No Limit Soldiers (Silk the Shocker, Master P, and C Murder) on there, while Cash Money/Young Money members (Birdman, Mannie Fresh, and Gudda Gudda also made the list.

However, Atlanta has the most people represented. Lil Yachty, OJ Da Juiceman, and Gunna, Soulja Boy, Bow Wow, Ying Yang Twins, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Future, Iggy Azalea (by way of Australia), and Playboi Carti (really Riverdale) made the list.

States like Texas (Lil Flip, Vanilla Ice, Riff Raff, and Mike Jones) tied with Florida (Lil Pump, Kid Buu, Plies, Flo-Rida).

The Midwest was represented by St. Louis (Chingy, St. Lunatics, and Nelly) and Chicago (Smokepurpp, Chief Keef, and G-Herbo), who tied with three slots.

But California trumped them with five rappers the creator of the list called wack: Yeat, Blue Face, Lil B, Nick Cannon, and Eazy E.

Daddy and daughter rappers Coi Leray and her dad Benzino made the list, holding it down for The Bean, landing in the top 20 at 12 and 17, respectfully. She beat him by only five spots.

Don’t think the list has an East Coast bias.

Seven of the artists, considered the worst rappers in history, are from New York City. Those names are 6ix9ine, P. Diddy, Cardi B, Waka Flocka, French Montana, and remarkably The RZA, making the Big Apple the location with the second most wack rappers on the list.

Fans were not happy with the list.

” They put lil B on the top 50 worst rappers of all time list. That man birthed a whole genre because of one song.”

“Ight even if you dont like yeat, there are infinitely worse rappers out there. Yeat should not be on the worst 50 OF ALL TIME.”

“How you got a top 50 worst rappers OAT and have future young thug lil uzi carti Gucci mane Eazy E Lil boat YB and Chief keef that’s the problem the rest of the n##### on the list are ass but having those rappers on a all time worst list is crazy”

Which artists do you think are missing or should not have been included?

Megan Thee Stallion Gets Role in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’

Houston native Megan thee Stallion continues to power through 2022 like a boss, scoring a role in a beloved Marvel superhero TV show.

According to The Cut, the rapper will have “an undisclosed role in “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.'”

The news slipped while the Grammy Award-winning artist talked about her upcoming projects, and “She-Hulk” was listed.

“Marvel fans have expected the rapper to appear in the Disney+ series ever since stunt performer Marche Day added Megan Thee Stallion’s stunt double on She-Hulk to her resume,” comic book trade CBR stated.

This is good news considering all the conflict she has been having with her label. As AllHipHop.com has reported, she has been going full out letting people know just how dirty she thinks Carl Crawford and J. Prince have been doing her.

Don’t expect the “She-Hulk” series to be super hardcore like so many other Marvel titles.

The lead writer of the flick, Jessica Gao, said the film’s creator, Charlie Cox, “has such reverence and love for that character.”

“It’s clear that the character meant so much to him, but he also came very game to play around,” she said. “He was totally up for more funny banter and having this fun dynamic with Jen and She-Hulk.”

Megan is also starring in an upcoming comedy called “F###### Identical Twins.”

He also dropped a new album “Petty Grammers” this Year that has been getting great reviews on multiple platforms. Which has hits “The Puablo Show” https://youtu.be/fPyzxZvgQro “Trick U” https://youtu.be/py5wUmtGfug  “Stylin on em” https://youtu.be/2mdbHwVWk9s

Britney Spears Says Family “Killed” Her With 13-Year Conservatorship

Britney Spears has accused her family of having “literally killed” her by placing her under a restrictive conservatorship for more than a decade.

In a 22-minute audio message published to her YouTube channel but subsequently deleted on Sunday, the “Toxic” singer slammed her dad Jamie and her mother Lynne for the legal arrangement brought in following her 2008 breakdown that lasted until November 2021.

“How did they get away with it?” Spears, who recently returned to music with an Elton John duet on Hold Me Closer, asked. “And what the f### did I do to deserve it? How the f### did they get away with it? How is there a God? Is there a God?”

She went on to explain that she deeply feared “judgment” over airing her views over the conservatorship, which gave her father and court appointees control over her finances, career, and medical care.

“I get nothing out of sharing all of this,” she explained. “I have offers to do interviews with Oprah and so many people for lots and lots of money, but it’s insane. I don’t want any of it. For me, it’s beyond a sit-down proper interview.”

The 40-year-old began her legal battle to free herself from the conservatorship in 2020 after hints that she was unhappy with the arrangement sparked a fan campaign. She won her legal battle and married Sam Asghari in June this year.

Neither her parents nor siblings Jamie Lynn and Bryan Spears were present at the wedding.

Revealing the strength of her feelings towards her family in the new audio, Spears added: “They literally killed me. They threw me away. That’s what I felt like, my family threw me away,” she continued. “I know now it was all premeditated and a woman introduced the idea to my dad and my mom actually helped him follow through and made it all happen.”

The star also claimed she had six vials of blood taken from her each week but that speaking about her experiences and making new music was helping her “mend.”

Britney’s mum responded to the recording on Instagram, writing: “I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you!”

Although the musician is now free from the conservatorships, legal battles over Jamie’s actions and the use of Britney’s fortune during the arrangement are ongoing.

He denies bugging his daughter’s bedroom and electronic devices to keep tabs on her.

Babygrande Records Presents Chelly Flame “Bandz”, the Official Music Video

If you’re into sexy-trap music, then I invite you to check out the brand-new song and music video by hip-hop artist Chelly Flame on Babygrande Records called “Bandz. “Bandz” without a doubt is the new strip club anthem for 2022 and you can also watch the official music video on YouTube here:

The track starts with a smooth trap beat and a catchy synth intro. Chelly Flame wastes no time and immediately blows the listener away at the beginning of the song with pure talent and skill.

It becomes clear that this artist has some serious talent and she can easily keep up with established artists in the rap scene. I love the line ‘I make you think I want you then I leave you, that’s my old trick’.

The verse that begins about 40 seconds into the song speaks for itself. I love the line ‘if all we got is time, then tell me why are you rushing?’.

The verse is followed by the catchy chorus and I can hear real strength in Chelly Flames vocals, yet at the same time it’s very easy to listen to and it’s not overpowering.

But not only the vocals are spectacular, but the beat and melody also are perfectly balanced and really make this song shine. The mixing and mastering are certainly done to perfection.

This track can easily position itself at the top of the charts. I can see millions of listeners all around the globe enjoying this track. I also respect her style when it comes to delivering the lines on top of the melody.

This track is super catchy, easy to listen to, even on repeat, and the way she delivers each line is flawless. Everything really flows. But it doesn’t end there, because the official music video is also worth mentioning here (see above). The video features some amazing drone shots, Chelly Flame looking flaming hot in several different stylish outfits and each scene is perfectly tailored to the music.

This is a lawyer in Houston that happens to be white. Anyway, we are still figuring out what is going on. Here’s what we know. The alleged altercation went down right outside of a private dinner. Not sure for who, but it reportedly happened at a high end restaurant. I am assuming both men appeared there and had friction. That purported friction turned into a fracas. That fracas turned into a rumor.

These guys have been at odds for a long, long time. We are looking at over 15 years! The word spread fast and hit the inna webs!

I hope this is just a rumor but most of these rumors have roots in reality. First, there was Benny The Butcher and Freddie Gibbs – now this! Damn! The old heads may need to rethink their way of resolving conflict.

6ix9ine Tells Police Girlfriend Hit Him, Now She Locked Up For Battery

Jade, the girlfriend of rapper 6ix9ine, was arrested over the weekend while hanging out in Miami, Florida, after the couple got into a fight.

The rapper said she was drunk and got violent with him.

According to TMZ, Rachel “Jade” Wattley was taken into custody on Sunday, August 28th, after being hit with battery charges related to domestic violence.

A video released by the outlet shows the couple arguing. Jade is surrounded by a group of young ladies, while the “GOOBA” rapper goes back and forth with her.

Moments into the footage, one of the women that appears to be with Jade attempts to hit the rainbow-haired chart-topper but misses.

When 6ix9ine is done entertaining the dust-up, he gets back into his car, despite people gathering around and trying to figure out what was happening.

At this point, Miami-Dade Police Department officers show up on the scene. A police report notes the couple started going at it (verbally) after being escorted out of a club.

The report also states that 6ix9ine told the police officers that his girlfriend hit him, showing them the marks she allegedly made on his body.

Witnesses confirm the rap star’s statement, saying she hit him while the two were inside the club. She is also said to have grabbed his bejeweled chain.

Outside of snitching on his girl, the officers said he was not cooperative with them about getting details regarding the incident. Luckily, officers could obtain surveillance videos from inside the club and other evidence to ensure the charges stick.

6ix9ine said Jade was intoxicated and believed her friends were hyping her up.

“I’m gonna get her out jail — she attacked me in front of the police. I told them, ‘You have to evaluate her. She’s obviously under the influence. I don’t plan to press charges … I’m the one trying to bail her out,” he said.

Jade’s bail was set at $1500.

3 Critical Mistakes That Aspiring Musicians Should Avoid At All Costs As Per Aryf

While numerous experts talk about the things that aspiring musicians should do, not many people talk about the potential pitfalls and mistakes that musicians should avoid. Of course, it’s essential to understand what to do, but it’s just as important to look at what not to do. So, we brought in an expert to guide us on the critical mistakes musicians should be careful of committing. Aryf a renowned name in the music scene, gave us the top 3 most common, lethal oversights that lead musicians to their downfall.

Aryf hopes that by learning about these, aspirants can take corrective measures well in advance and steer clear of possibly disastrous results.

Not Practicing Enough

Getting cocky will benefit no one. You might be exceptional, but if you don’t practice consistently and hone your skills even further, you will be replaced with younger talent. While Aryf asks musicians not to be on edge constantly over this, he says that it is crucial to understand the importance of practice.  “You cannot undermine the importance of practicing each day. Your special skills are bound to get rusty over time, from vocal cords to instruments. The only way to stay on top of your game is to sharpen your skills, learn new things, and never lose touch with your humble side.”, Aryf notes.

Not Keeping in Touch with Their Fans

Many musicians start with the right idea – they have a finger on the pulse of their target demographic and create content that will find its audience once released. But somewhere along the way, artists forget why they’re doing this and who they’re doing it for. When you have music to sell, you are no longer doing it for yourself; you become part of a larger ecosystem with buyers’ wishes to recognize and abide by.

“It is easy to lose sight of what’s important once you get the taste of fame. But don’t be one of those musicians who isolate their fans when things start looking up. Remember – your fans are the ones who made you, and if they so choose, they can make your whole world come crashing down, too. If you respect them and their wishes, you will always enjoy a splendid career.”, Aryf advises.

Having Limited Range

“Think of your favorite meal – is it just one big plate of desserts? That wouldn’t be too satisfying, would it? Imagine having that and only that every day for the rest of your life. You couldn’t. Then why should your fans put up with the limited range of your music?” Aryf explains.

Figure out what your fans love most about you – it could be your songwriting technique or a particular genre. Then, to not be too ambitious, keep that one thing fans love about you the same, and experiment with other factors.

Switching things up a little gives your fans a pleasant surprise, yet not so much that it would make you unrecognizable and uncomfortable.

Versatility is tough to achieve, but it might be one of the ways to ensure that your fans never use words like “same,” “predictable,” or “boring.” when describing you.

The rapper thanked many people who influenced her career and mourned the two late stars as musicians who passed away after struggling to deal with their fame.

“I wrote this down, I don’t know why y’all but this is what this was in my spirit to say, I wish that Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson were here,” she said from the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

“I wish that people understood what they meant and what they were going through. I wish people took mental health seriously even for the people who you think have the perfect lives.”

NLE Choppa: Men Need To Go Celibate To Have Control Over “Second Head”

Bryson Lashun Potts is not afraid to give out his sometimes controversial opinions. The rapper better known as NLE Choppa continues to use social media as a platform to express his views on health and wellness.

Over the weekend, NLE Choppa turned his attention to male sexual activity. The 19-year-old Me vs. Me mixtape creator shared his way of thinking on abstaining from sex with his 1.5 million Twitter followers.

“It’s important for men to go celibate. When the genitals act as if it has a [mind] of its own that’s a problem. You must be able to have self-control over your second head. That’s true discipline 💯,” tweeted NLE Choppa on August 26.

Around 30 minutes later, NLE Choppa returned to the social media site to also comment on reframing from eating. He connected not eating to not having sex as a way to avoid lustful urges.

“Fasting from food is also extremely important if you can control your appetite you can literally accomplish ANYTHING,” posted Choppa on Twitter.

The “Shotta Flow” hitmaker continued, “Fasting from sex and food are two forms of walking away from LUSTING ENERGY. Lust can kill you. Build a strong mindset to escape that trap many are victims to. 🙏🏽.”

NLE Choppa Also Claimed He Can Help Cure Cancer

NLE Choppa’s message about celibacy and fasting comes after he expressed his sexual desires in the “S### Me Out” music video. The song was part of a promotional tie-in with the plant-based burger chain Slutty Vegan in Atlanta.

In addition to commenting on sex, NLE Choppa repeatedly claimed to he can help other people cure diseases like cancer. The Memphis-raised rhymer even offered to assist Pop superstar Justin Bieber with his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis.

“As long as you have good intentions, you pray over these things, you talk to them, and you give it to people with the right intentions and they use it and they hear you out consistently with the things that they do within themselves every day, you can help someone. You can help save a life,” said NLE Choppa.

Halle Bailey Stars In DDG’s “If I Want You” Music Video

Rising rapper Darryl “DDG” Granberry Jr. recently revealed his new music video for “If I Want You.” The visuals star the Pontiac, Michigan, native’s real-life girlfriend Halle Bailey.

“If I Want You” is a precursor to the forthcoming It’s Not Me, It’s You album. DDG previously released Valedictorian via Epic Records in 2019. The Die 4 Respect mixtape landed last year.

Singer/actress Halle Bailey plays DDG’s on-screen love interest in the “If I Want You” video. Since its premiere on YouTube, the clip has amassed more than 560,000 views on the platform.

DDG also dropped “Storyteller” in June. “Elon Musk” featuring Atlanta rapper Gunna hit DSPs in February. That song has collected more than 32 million streams on Spotify.

Previously, the Recording Industry Association of America awarded DDG’s “Moonwalking in Calabasas” with a Platinum plaque (1 million units). He also earned Gold certification (500,000 units) for “Arguments” in 2020.

DDG began growing an online fanbase through his content on YouTube. His Lil Yachty diss track “Big Boat” garnered a lot of attention in 2017. DDG’s debut EP, Take Me Serious, came out the following year. XXL then added the former Central Michigan University student to its 2021 Freshman Class cover.

Halle Bailey rose to prominence as one half of the R&B duo known as Chloe x Halle with her sister Chlöe Bailey. The Beyoncé protégés released 2018’s The Kids Are Alright and 2020’s Ungodly Hour.

Chloe x Halle spent time as cast members on Freeform’s college-set sitcom Grown-ish. Plus, Halle Bailey took on the role of Princess Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action version of The Little Mermaid. She will also portray Young Nettie in The Color Purple remake.

DDG and Halle Bailey reportedly began dating in late 2021. The couple has been seen attending industry events together, including the 2022 BET Awards. Back in January, DDG also uploaded a vacation video to his PontiacMadeDDG VLOGS channel on YouTube which featured cameos by Halle Bailey.

Jack Harlow Brings Out Fergie For “First Class” VMA Performance

Kentucky-bred rapper Jack Harlow scored his second #1 single with “First Class.” The Come Home the Kids Miss You track debuted atop the Hot 100 chart in April.

Jack Harlow’s “First Class” interpolates the chorus of another Hot 100 chart leader. Fergie’s “Glamorous” featuring Ludacris topped the Hot 100 rankings in 2007.

MTV tapped Jack Harlow to perform at this year’s Video Music Awards on Sunday night. The 24-year-old Generation Now recording artist shocked the audience by bringing out Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas.

Harlow’s performance opened with him walking through an airplane set. Other celebrities – such as Saucy Santana, Chlöe Bailey, and Lil Nas X – made cameos in that scene. Then Fergie showed up on stage.

https://youtu.be/Y6aMwTS0EVM

This is not the first time Jack Harlow teamed up with a special guest for a live televised performance. The 2022 BET Awards included Harlow sharing the stage with R&B legend Brandy for another rendition of “First Class.”

Additionally, Jack Harlow served as one of the co-hosts for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. Hip Hop stars LL Cool J and Nicki Minaj joined Harlow as masters of ceremonies for the event held in Newark, New Jersey.

Jack Harlow left the Prudential Center with four trophies, the most for any act. His single “Industry Baby” with Lil Nas X won Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, and Best Visual Effects. “First Class” also grabbed the Song Of The Summer honor.

Come Home the Kids Miss You dropped on May 6. Harlow’s latest body of work debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart by earning 113,000 first-week units. “First Class” also spent 21 straight days at No. 1 on Apple Music’s Global Daily Top 100 chart.

Bad Bunny Kisses Male Dancer During 2022 VMA Performance

Madonna, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera infamously shocked the world back at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards with an on-stage, same-gender kiss. This year’s VMAs included Bad Bunny locking lips with a male dancer.

Bad Bunny ran through “T### Me Pregunto” from Yankee Stadium for MTV’s televised ceremony. At one point, the Puerto Rican rapper kissed one of his male backup dancers live on stage.

In addition, Bad Bunny kissed a female dancer during the performance. Two years ago, the Spanish-speaking entertainer sparked conversation when he dressed in drag for the ‘Yo Perreo Sola’ music video.

Bad Bunny’s man-on-man smooch came after Lil Nas X kissed his own male backup dancer at the 2021 BET Awards. That moment involving LNX sparked a backlash from individuals in the Hip Hop community such as Boosie Badazz and Benzino.

https://youtu.be/4XSReWvcPWo

Bad Bunny had a big night at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. Ten-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony presented the 28-year-old part-time pro wrestler with the VMA for Artist Of The Year. Bunny beat out Drake, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, and Lizzo for that honor.

Un Verano Sin Ti, Bad Bunny’s fourth studio album, is one of the best-selling music projects of 2022. The LP has spent nine non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, moving more than 2 million units since its release in May.

The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards also presented top prizes to Taylor Swift (Video Of The Year – “All Too Well”), Billie Eilish (Song Of The Year – “Happier Than Ever”), and Best New Artist (Dove Cameron). Hip Hop superstar Nicki Minaj received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

First-Week Sales Projections For DJ Khaled’s ‘God Did’ Are In

On August 26, DJ Khaled released his thirteenth studio LP via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records. God Did arrived with numerous special guest features.

Contributions by acts such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, Kanye West, and Eminem likely helped DJ Khaled pull in substantial streams for the God Did album. HitsDailyDouble reported the project’s predicted sales numbers.

According to the outlet, DJ Khaled’s God Did is on pace to rack up 105,00-115,000 first-week units. That range should be enough to give the New Orleans-born deejay/producer his fourth #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

Previously, Khaled scored Number Ones with 2016’s Major Key, 2017’s Grateful, and 2021’s Khaled Khaled. Grateful spent two weeks in the top spot. Nine of his releases reached the Top 10 of the weekly album rankings.

In addition to God Did, other Hip Hop projects will also debut on next week’s Billboard 200. Dreamville recording artist J.I.D. also dropped The Forever Story on August 26. That set will likely open with 27,000-30,000 units.

Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio Volume 1 is projected to bring in 25,000-30,000 units over the tracking period. The 28-track compilation hosts the rapper’s Billboard Hot 100 #1 single “Super Freaky Girl.”

God Did also features Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Roddy Ricch, Quavo, Takeoff, SZA, Nardo Wick, Kodak Black, Don Toliver, Travis Scott, Gunna, Latto, City Girls, Jadakiss, and more. DJ Khaled’s “Staying Alive” single with Drake and Lil Baby peaked at #5 on the Hot 100 chart.
