Cardi B Bashes World Leaders Amid Ukraine-Russia Crisis: “Stop Tripping About Power”

Cardi B has used her huge platform many times in the past to discuss social issues and share her political beliefs.

When a Twitter user asked her thoughts “about this whole Russia thing,” Cardi B was frank as ever in her response.

“Wish these world leaders stop tripping about power and really think about whose really getting affected (citizens),” she replied. “Besides the whole world is in a crisis.War,sanctions, invasions should be the last thing these leaders should worry about.”

When someone suggested that Cardi B did not write the tweet, the rapper and business mogul recorded a video response to give further insight.

Cardi began by confirming she had not been hacked. She told her followers she wanted to say “a lot of things” but is choosing to mind her business. She joked that because of her big platform, she might “get killed” for saying the wrong thing.

Following on from her tweet, Cardi B declared she was not on the side of either Russa or NATO but the citizen’s side. “At the end of the day the world is having a crisis right now,” she explained. “There’s inflation not only in America but everywhere in the world. It’s really hard to get the economy back up.”

She then mentioned embargoes and goods shortages while noting “China’s not really messing with us” adding to the issues. Cardi B also shared her frustration and her hopes for a resolution. “I really wish that all world leaders right now just really come with a logical conclusion but … whatever,” she said with a sigh.

Snoop Dogg & Diddy Tease Death Row & Bad Boy Collab: “We Gotta Do It”

Snoop Dogg continues to make legendary moves after his recent acquisition of Death Row Records and historic Super Bowl halftime show performance.

The West Coast OG dropped a short film to accompany his latest album “Bacc On Death Row,” over the weekend. The 43-minute-long video includes a clip of a FaceTime call with P Diddy, praising his friend’s recent success.

“Congratulations king, great move, great move,” Diddy told Snoop Dogg, who responded, “You taught me how to play chess, not checkers.”

Diddy called the Doggfather one of his “greatest students,” as Snoop told him how much of an inspiration Diddy is to him. “I’m so proud of you, that’s so incredibly dope,” Diddy said to the new Death Row boss. “I’m trying to make you proud of me,” the California native replied.

While Diddy told him how eager he is to see his plans for the label, Snoop got down to business.

“Now we can do what we want to do Death Row and Bad Boy,” Snoop offered as Diddy replied, “Yeah let’s do it!”

Snoop Dogg Says “Quit Playing With Me”

“We been doing it,” Snoop told Diddy. “Come on, Puff, I’m going to put it in the air, quit playing with me. I’m going to put it in the air n####, we left n##### hanging,” he said. The “Bad Boy For Life” hitmaker confirmed his agreement, “We gotta do that.”

The move would be a historic Hip-Hop collaboration if the two bosses joined forces. The infamous beef between Bad Boy Records and Death Row Records had a lasting impact on the culture. The feud raged on for years, pitting artists on the east and west coast against each other and resulted in the deaths of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. Watch Snoop Dogg and Diddy discuss the monumental move in the clip below.

Sylvia Rhone – The Godmother Of The Music Business

Female music industry executives are hard to come by, and female black industry executives are rare.

However, one woman has managed to transcend all barriers: Sylvia Rhone, who is regarded as the most influential female executive in the entire history of music.

Having occupied the top role in three major record companies, she has overseen the careers of artists as diverse as Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, and even Metallica.

Sylvia Rhone was born in Philadelphia on March 11th, 1952.

She grew up in Harlem, where her exposure to R&B influences like Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin and rock musicians like Jimi Hendrix gave her the grounding in a diverse range of music.

While initially working at Bankers Trust in New York City after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, her passion for music took over, and she landed a role as a secretary for Buddha Records in 1974.

Sylvia Rhone worked her way through the ranks in the white-male-dominated business of the time, landing gigs at record labels such as ABC Records, Ariola Records, and Elektra Records.

By 1986, she had received a promotion to senior vice president and general manager of Atlantic Records, where she managed a variety of artists, including Brandy and En Vogue.

In 1990, she became the first African-American woman to head a major record company. Over the years, her roles in many record companies have not just seen her foster new talent but have also reinvigorated and furthered artists’ careers who were on the scrap heap.

In 1994, she became chairwoman of the Elektra Entertainment Group, where she oversaw the merger of three different record companies into one of the most diverse record labels out there.

Artists like Busta Rhymes and Ol’ Dirty Bastard were labelmates with various artists like Tracy Chapman, AC/DC, Pantera, Bjork, Metallica, and Missy Elliott.

By 2004, her life came full circle when she was appointed the president of Motown Records. Under her leadership, Motown started to match the success of larger music business platforms by adding contemporary artists such as Chamillionaire, Migos, Akon, and Lil Wayne to the label.

Since 2014, she has been chairwoman and CEO of Epic Records, where she has nurtured hip-hop artists such as 21 Savage, Bobby Shmruda, and Future to worldwide success.

Her visionary approach comes from her Harlem upbringing. She has used her background to bring enrichment to the cultural and artistic identity of the music industry by focusing on a diverse environment, musically, culturally, and racially.

Sylvia Rhone is a complete trailblazer in every sense of the word, having been the first African-American woman to be a CEO of a major record label owned by a Fortune 500 company. Her accolades are only secondary to her approach to preserving and protecting culture.

Upon receiving the Culture Creators Icon Award in 2018, in her acceptance speech, she stated, “Our one common goal is to protect the culture.”

Her role is not just as a pioneering black woman in modern America, but it’s the fact that her duties come from a place where she wants to protect identity.

Cardi B Posts Cryptic Tweet After Tasha K Says She “Ain’t Got” $4 Millon Judgement

Cardi B won her landmark defamation case against Tasha K last month and was awarded almost $4 million in damages. The rapper may have to wait a while for her money because Tasha K said, “I ain’t got it.”

Cardi B sued Tasha K in 2019 after the vlogger made various false allegations against her, including that she was a prostitute who had herpes and abused drugs. The court found Tasha K liable for defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress on January 24.

During a recent interview, the YouTuber was asked about paying the $3.8 million she was ordered to hand over to Cardi B.

“I ain’t got it,” said Tasha K as the hosts began laughing. “Listen, I ain’t got it. Don’t ask me for no money. I ain’t got it. But listen, we have business things in place that takes care of things like this.”

She added, “the appellate court and the supreme court is in process right now,” confirming she is currently appealing the court’s decision. As for that YouTube money she’s collecting, “It’s good,” she said, “but I got two chirren.”

Cardi B Says “BBHMM”

Meanwhile, shortly after clips of Tasha’s Ks interview emerged online, Cardi B took to Twitter with a cryptic message. “Think is a game but trust imma come for everything …..BBHMM.”

Although she did not spell out what she was abbreviating, many were quick to offer a translation. “Period sis,” was one reply. The tweet came with a gif of Rihanna’s “B#### Better Have My Money,” or “BBHMM,” as the acronym goes.

Earlier on Monday, Cardi B let it be known that she’s making that shmoney! During a Twitter spat, she revealed she makes a cool $1 million per show and even more outside the country.

“Over a M wit 1 album BIG SUPERSTAR are you dumb?” she wrote. “Waiting on my agent got like 3 overseas one for 2Ms.”

However, according to Cardi B, was merely informing fans of her performance fees. “If anybody lost this was about lil twitter debate lol,” she wrote in the comments of The Shade Room’s post.

Drake’s Alleged Stalker Seeking Restraining Order Against Him After Her $4 Billion Lawsuit Was Dismissed

Drake is being taken to court by a woman seeking a restraining order against him.

Radar Online reports a woman arrested on multiple occasions for trespassing at Drake’s mansion home is now seeking a restraining order against him. The outlet obtained court records that show Mesha Collins is asking the Los Angeles Superior Court to grant her an order of protection.

According to Radar Online, Drake’s alleged stalker filed the petition on February 18. However, days earlier, a judge denied Collins’s motion to revive the $4 billion lawsuit she previously filed against the Toronto hitmaker.

Although the details of Collins’s most recent petition are not available, her previous $4 billion suit accused Drake of invasion of privacy. She claimed the rapper leaked her business on social media and in his lyrics. The lawsuit was ultimately thrown out after Collins failed to respond to Drake’s motion to dismiss. The case was officially closed on February 16, Collins filed her petition for a restraining order two days later. A hearing has been set for March.

Mesha Collins has been arrested 3 times for trespassing on Drake’s property and at least five times for assaulting or spitting on his fans – details she omitted from her lawsuit. On one occasion in 2017, she entered his home and locked herself inside. Drake claimed he was unaware of who she was until she sued him and denied all the allegations.

Kendrick Lamar Leaving TDE Is A “Full-Circle Moment” According to Punch

Top Dawg Entertainment’s Punch sees Kendrick Lamar leaving the label as an example of growth.

In an interview with Mic, TDE’s president reflected on K. Dot’s impending departure from the label. Punch spoke positively about Kendrick Lamar branching out and beginning a new chapter of his career.

“I don’t even know if I would describe it that way as ready to leave, as more so ready to build his own thing,” Punch explained. “That’s a grown man right now. We watched him grow from a teenager up into an established grown man, a businessman, and one of the greatest artists of all time.”

He continued, “So, how long do you actually be signed up under somebody? It’s been almost 20 years. So, it’s time to move on and try new things and venture out.”

Punch praised Kendrick Lamar instead of wallowing over K. Dot’s exit. The TDE executive described the situation as a “full-circle moment.”

“He’s doing a great job developing Baby Keem,” he said. “It’s always been there, but now it’s just time and space where he can actually do it. It’s a beautiful thing to watch because that’s something that started with what we built in the beginning. To see it blossom, it’s a full-circle moment.”

Kendrick Lamar hasn’t dropped a studio LP since 2017’s DAMN. Last year, he announced his next album will be his final release for TDE.

Spend Your Greatest Moments of Love With Shamoun’s New Single, “Livin”

We were all taken aback when “Livin’” became an international hit. A meteoric rise in SHAMOUN’s career has been fueled by the song. As a result, people are talking about him.

He released a three-song EP this year. Like “Livin,” their popularity is on the rise. The EP, on the other hand, stands alone as a piece of art. We don’t know what SHAMOUN has accomplished, but the EP is an unforgettable experience.

Nothing about SHAMOUN was known to anyone in the music business until recently. As a result, when he suddenly came and published this EP, I was taken entirely by surprise. By the engaging and pleasurable nature of all of his works, his songwriting skills may be observed to be exceptional.

Kenny Muney On Coming Up With Key Glock, Signing To PRE And The Death Of Young Dolph

Kenny Muney leaves fans with one reminder: Time is Muney. Also the title of his highly-anticipated, newly released mixtape, the 16-track project hails standout features from Dreezy and fellow labelmates Key Glock and Big Moochie Grape. Being signed to Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire speaks volumes in itself, and Kenny Muney is here to keep Dolph’s name alive the best way he can.

In describing himself, Kenny states he’s “a talented hustler, that’s the best way to put it. I’m a gem. I’m someone you find, you just stuck on them by the time you finally find it. A lot of people probably not up yet but when they get on it, they going to be stuck.”

With the release of “Role Model,” a tribute track dedicated to the loss of his mentor, OG, and good friend, Kenny reminds folks exactly why Dolph is one of the greatest to ever do it. Hailing from South Memphis comes with its own battles and obstacles, and Dolph gave Kenny the push he needed to be seen in the big leagues. An opportunity that he’ll never take for granted, Kenny decided to leave the streets behind and fully commit to the music game… wearing his heart on his sleeve with each release.

AllHipHop caught up with Kenny in downtown Los Angeles, who was rocking multiple chains around his neck including PRE and his own brand WLE: Whole Lotta Errthang.

AllHipHop: Obviously you’re from South Memphis, what was that like growing up?

Kenny Muney: It’s a lot. You see a lot of stuff going on, just normal street s###. Memphis period is like that. You gotta find a way to make the best of it.

AllHipHop: When did you fall in love with music?

I always liked music. I always liked listening to music. I always used music to blow time, but I started playing with it with my homies. When I started making my own music, I started putting it out and people liked it. I kept doing it.

AllHipHop: What artists made you want to do music?

Kenny Muney: Dolph, Gucci, Boosie. Folks like that.

AllHipHop: How did Dolph catch wind of you?

Kenny Muney: S###, on the streets. I was doing what I was doing, that s### was spreading and people were f###### with it. He always f#### with people who work. He started hitting me up and I started hitting him back. I hit him up for advice, even before I was signed to him. He was f###### with me. He wanted to sign me way before I even signed.

AllHipHop: Why didn’t you?

Kenny Muney: Because I was trying to do what he was doing. I was trying to do it myself. Later on, he said, “Bruh, you still gon’ do it yourself. I’m just gon’ help you, be more hands on.” That’s what made me go on and sign to him.

AllHipHop: Because they don’t just sign anyone to PRE!

Kenny Muney: Hell nah.

AllHipHop: How did he reach out to you initially?

Kenny Muney: You know, Glock been signed to him. Me and Glock, he’s my brother. One day I said, “hey, I’m about to drop this tape. See if Dolph would post it.” He said, “S###, you ask him!” I DMed him like, “bruh, would you post this for me?” He posted it like “this joint hard. This m########### hard little bruh!” S### from there, I called him one day and said, “The radio tryna charge me blah blah blah.” He said, “That sounds about right, but I’ll see if they’ll do it for cheaper.” From there, anytime I want to know something, I’ll call him and he’ll give me the game.

AllHipHop: What was the conversation when you actually did sign?

Kenny Muney: Just like that. He’s like, “Bruh I look at it like you’re still doing your own thing, doing it however you want to do it. You just got a machine to help you now. You got somebody who sees your vision and understands, not just trying to capitalize off of it. Now I want to see you do what I’m doing.”

AllHipHop: Dolph was one of the biggest independent artists. You made a song called “Role Model,” what does that mean to dedicate that to him?

Kenny Muney: He’s my role model. Everything I wanted to do, that’s what he was doing. I paid close attention, I got to learn hands on. A lot of people don’t get to learn hands on from the people they’re watching. It was good I got to actually experience a real relationship with the person I looked up to.

AllHipHop: What was the vibe in the studio?

Kenny Muney: I ain’t gon’ lie, we were never really in the studio together. We always in the studio together, but not even recording. We just be chillin’, just kicking it. When we were recording, everybody really records on their own occasion. But when we’re together, we be chillin’. We never really think about music like that. But when it’s time to go over my tape, Dolph sits right here and we’re locking in. It be strictly locking in, he’s listening. We’re locked all the way in, he’s picking the songs.

AllHipHop: Is that what happened with Time is Muney?

Kenny Muney: Yeah fasho! A majority of the songs, he handpicked them. Usually he lets me do what I want to do, but we was eye to eye on his album. He’s like, “Bruh, you using this song.” I’m like “I don’t want to use that song!” He’s like “Even if you gotta force it, I’m using it!” We were on the same page with this tape for sure.

AllHipHop: Happy release day! How do you feel?

Kenny Muney: I feel good. Getting a lot of good feedback, they love it. You can’t hate it. Even my haters love it. That m########### hard, all the way through.

AllHipHop: How important is time?

Kenny Muney: S###, it’s way more important than money. For sure. You can’t make no money without time. You ain’t gon’ get nothing without time.

AllHipHop: One thing you want people to get from this project?

Kenny Muney: To invest your time and invest your money. Believe in what you’re doing. Know that it might take time and it might cost you some money, but you’ll get there if you sacrifice. Decide that those two things, you gotta have one to make the other one happy. You could have all the ideas, you can have everything, but if you don’t invest the time, you’re not gonna make the money.

AllHipHop: What songs mean the most to you on the project and why?

Kenny Muney: I ain’t gonna lie, every song. Every song has its own different variation of Time is Muney. On each song, it’s me expressing how I spend my time. Whether I’m talking about the past experience, whether I’m talking about what I want to do or what I’m doing, it’s me talking about my time. There’s not an exact song that I like the most, because they’re all hard! They’re literally all hard. Not just my whole tape hard, nah. Every single song is like damn! I gotta listen to some songs 50 times before I go to the next one.

AllHipHop: You have features from Glock, Big Moochie Grape
<_ allhiphop.com=”allhiphop.com” features=”features” big-moochie-grape-the-newest-artist-signed-to-paper-route-empire=”big-moochie-grape-the-newest-artist-signed-to-paper-route-empire” =”“>, and Dreezy. How’d that happen?

Kenny Muney: I met Dreezy when I was on tour. We was on the Dum & Dummer Tour, she pulled up to the show.

AllHipHop: Oh, I was there! In Los Angeles at The Wiltern?

Kenny Muney: Yeah, he introduced each other. We just started chopping it up. I started coming back and forth to LA recently, we knew a mutual person. We ended up putting it together and making it happen. I f### with Dreezy, she’s hard for sure!

AllHipHop: What’s your relationship with Key Glock?

Kenny Muney: That’s my dawg! He’s who I started rapping with. We started rapping together. He’s hard, that’s my brother before anything. Before no music. Honestly, we don’t even talk about music. At all, we talk about mamas and partnas. We got the same partnas, same everything. That’s my dawg!

Kenny Muney

AllHipHop: What was it like seeing his come up? Because he’s hard as f###.

Kenny Muney: It’s motivating. A lot of people look at their partna next to them and they don’t like what they see or feel entitled. Bruh, he’ll tell anybody, I’m his biggest fan. That’s my dawg! Whatever he’s doing, I’m proud and I’m happy for what he’s doing. I’ma do my own thing and do how I do it, but it’s always gonna be me supportive of what he’s doing and vice versa. I always use it as motivation like damn, my boy be turnt. I like it, I love it! It makes me happy because I know where he comes from.

AllHipHop: Hip-Hop in general took a huge loss. What was your reaction when you heard about Dolph’s passing? How did you cope?

Kenny Muney: Still coping. The feeling is indescribable. It makes me do what I know he wants me to do. I got a strong enough bond with him that I know what he’d want me to do in these types of situations. All I can do is think, like I said from the beginning of me starting to do this, “What would Dolph do?” I just have to figure it out.

AllHipHop: What’s your favorite Dolph song?

Kenny Muney: Not going to lie, I got so many different favorites. It’s an old song, you have to be super into Dolph to know it. It’s a song called “No Panties.” It’s old Dolph, super old. Dolph knows I like when he be talking his s### about women. Not in a bad way, but this song’s playa. It’s my favorite song

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio at all times?

Kenny Muney: My gun, of course. My peace. If I need people around me, if that’s gonna make me feel peaceful, I need that. If I don’t want nobody in there, I need everybody to leave. My peace for sure, and I gotta have some chicken. [laughs] Chicken fasho, I gotta eat some chicken.

AllHipHop: How you like your chicken?

Kenny Muney: Fried, with honey mustard and ranch.

AllHipHop: What were you going through recording “Petro”?

Kenny Muney: I was thinking about how to get a point across in a different type of way, without getting in trouble. I had to make it make sense.

AllHipHop: I see you selling stuff in the video.

Kenny Muney: I was selling gas out the store, actual gas. They was getting a discount on 93.

AllHipHop: Any goals for yourself?

Kenny Muney: One day when I get old, I’m done rapping and I’m done being in the streets, I want a hotel. It’s 24 hours trappin’. What hotel you know don’t got someone there? It’s someone always at the hotel.

AllHipHop: What’s the hotel gonna be called?

Kenny Muney: Moneifa, it sounds like money. [laughs] It gotta be somewhere where I’m bringing in money. It’s gotta be somewhere turnt. It ain’t gonna be in the hood fasho, you gotta have your paper to come there.

AllHipHop: What are you most excited for next?

Kenny Muney: S###, I just dropped this tape. I ain’t gon’ lie, the deluxe is already ready. I’m just waiting on them to tell me they’re ready for it.

AllHipHop: Who’s they?

Kenny Muney: You. The fans. Everybody! Whenever y’all ready for it, I’ma drop it.

AllHipHop: You got extra features on there?

Kenny Muney: You’ll have to see.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?

Kenny Muney: Time is Muney out right now, run it up. They finally let the right type of person in the door, so run it all the way up! It’s relatable. If you want to get some money, turn it on and you gon’ get you some money. When you get in your car, make sure you turn it on and that’s it!

The platinum plus producer is renowned for crafting hits for Sean “Diddy” Combs, 50 Cent, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, and numerous other entertainment greats. “I’’ve been working a long time. I sat down to count the 50 R&B pop artists in my career, ” he says. “I’ve made a historical amount of records.”

Now, the Bronx, New York native is stretching his wings as he cranks out his first book, “Life of Amadeus: The Beat Goes On.” During the pandemic, this hit maker reflected deeply on his illustrious career and decided to share his remarkable story. A motivational speaker, the newly minted author is now talking to kids and young people, encouraging them to chase down their dreams.

In this exclusive conversation, Amadeus talks about his experience as one of Diddy’s hitmen, producing for all the greats, as well as the status of Trey Songz, who is presently being accused of sexual assault. As Songz’s musical director, he has been instrumental in the R&B singer’s professional life and professional success. Drama aside, the King of the Bronx is stepping into his own light all the while lifting those around him.

A self-admitted church boy, he’s managed to navigate through the rigors of the rough and tumble world of music. And, somehow, he has not lost himself in the process. These days, as we manage through the pandemic, Amadeus holds down a weekend residency with Drai’s Nightclub of Las Vegas, employing his expertise as a drummer. He is also a proud father to Antwan Jr., and Ariana.

Donald Glover Recalls Being Accosted By Racists In The U.K.

Donald Glover and the “Atlanta” writing team have recalled how they were racially harassed while shooting season three in London last year.

During the Television Critics Association’s virtual winter press conference last week, Donald and his co-writers, Stefani Robinson and Stephen Glover, discussed how they were approached by a group of people near a closed bar one night while they were in production in the British capital in April 2021.

One of the men asked the crew whether they could break into the venue because “you guys all carry hammers.”

Hammer is a slang term for a gun.

“It was so insulting, but not insulting at the same time because it took us five minutes to fully understand,” Stefani explained, before describing how the encounter began to escalate. “He got to a point of like if the insinuation was lost on us, he got specific and he was like, ‘You guys are Black, you’ve gone to jail and you do things like that.’ Like he kept doubling down on it.”

In addition, Stephen – who is Donald’s brother – recounted how the Atlanta writers were speaking to a woman when one of the men from the group started making offensive allegations.

“She’s talking to us. And then, after a minute, the guy just runs back down the street and grabs her and throws her over his shoulder, and he’s like, ‘Run. They are going to rape you, like, rape you.’ The girl was literally, like, ‘I’m sorry,’ as she’s being taken away. So, it was pretty bad,” continued Stephen, while Donald added: “We are just standing there, like, ‘What just happened?'”
