When Rihanna announced her pregnancy, most people were overjoyed and happy that the singer got preggers after years of hard work in the music industry.
Her boyfriend ASAP Rocky is the toast of the town for most people.
So from our company AllHipHop to your “company” congratulations!
Nevertheless, there is a contingency of people that is unhappy with the news. Kinda. They – somehow – thought they had a shot with Rihanna and that now that shot is gone.
To that, I say:
They have decided to direct their anger and rage to one person. Brother Has.
I am sure you remember when A$AP Rocky was facing multiple years in jail while he was in Switzerland. If you recall, his crew beat up some local yokel overseas and got locked up. When that happened, he was in an international crisis that even Donald Trump had to get involved with.
ASAP was smart enough not to be all overly gracious to Donald Trump, but he was still extremely gracious to one man. Brother Has!
If not for the efforts of Brother Has, ASAP Rocky would still be incarcerated and unable to impregnate Rihanna.
There is a multi-verse somewhere where they don’t even meet each other and consummate their relationship with the birth of a new child. However, in this universe, this is happening!
And you can blame one man: Brother Has!
BrotherMan is a shadowy figure in the world of music and entertainment that has been pulling strings behind the scenes for years. He has been largely unnoticed by the mainstream, but folks like us know exactly who he is! He even has a blue verified check on IG.
We have no beef with him, but he is to blame for this current situation that has Rihanna blessed beyond measure with a new baby!
Comedian Bill Cosby’s criminal sex assault case may soon be revived in a judge acquiesces to the will of a Pennsylvania D.A. The prosecutor is making a bid to the U.S. Supreme Court to put the 84-year-old back behind prison bars to finish serving time on his 2018 drugging and molestation conviction.
According to ABC, four years ago, the man often called “America’s Dad” was convicted by a jury of slipping drugs to college sports administrator Andrea Constand in 2004 and then having nonconsensual sexual relations with her. He became the first, and one of the few celebrities, to be found guilty of these types of crimes in the #MeToo era.
Despite the conviction, Cosby was released in June of 2021 after Cosby’s team alleged to the judge that he believed he entered into an agreement with a former Pennsylvania D.A. that despite whatever he confessed, he would not be prosecuted.
With this understanding, he shared damning testimony that yielded to the court’s belief that he indeed abused at least one woman in 2005. That testimony, dug up illegally according to the defense, was a linchpin for his guilty verdict.
Last summer, however, a judge honored the original arrangement and let the disgraced funnyman out of jail.
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, District Attorney Kevin Steele is trying to revive the case. Looking at the facts, Steele says that the written evidence of this nonprosecution promise is a 2005 news release from Bruce Castor and that that does not constitute an immunity agreement.
The Philadelphia comedian’s legal team is pushing for the justice to reject the inquiry. Cosby’s lawyer Jennifer Bonjean wrote in the 15-page response filed Monday, Jan. 31, “Notwithstanding the commonwealth’s warning of imminent catastrophic consequences, the Cosby holding will likely be confined to its own ‘rare, if not entirely unique’ set of circumstances, making review by this court particularly unjustified.”
People will learn more about Cosby by watching, as reported by AllHipHop.com, W. Kamau Bell’s new documentary that premiered in January at Sundance.
U.K drill rappers Suspect AGB and Swavey AGB have reportedly arrived back in the U.K after extradition from Kenya.
The two members of the North London Drill crew Active Gxng, were arrested in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old in August 2019.
Kenyan law enforcement released a statement yesterday (Mon. 31) confirming the extradition.
“Murder Fugitives Wanted in U.K Finally Extradited,” DCI Kenya, the official Twitter account for The Directorate of Criminal Investigations-Kenya reports. “The two murder fugitives who were arrested by detectives last Wednesday, have finally been extradited to face trial in the U.K.”
DCI Kenya continued, “Mohamud Siyad Abdihakim ,24 and Monteiro Tariq Kennedy Mangal, 21, both British nationals, were arrested by Transnational and Organized Crimes detectives in Kilimani, following intelligence leads.”
They further state the pair were arrested in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old boy identified as Alex Smith, from London. “Metropolitan police who have been looking for the suspects believe that one of the two arrested fugitives carried out the actual stabbing, while the other one was driving one of the stolen cars.”
They claim Suspect and Swavey hid in the upmarket suburbs of Nairobi to avoid detention in the U.K and have now been extradited. They also state Tariq had a fake Somalian I.D card and a dagger in his possession at the time of the arrest.

In March 2002, The Mirror reported 16-year-old Alex Smith was murdered in an ongoing feud between gangs from Camden, North London. Arif Biomy, 19, was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 21 years. Yusuf Yusuf, also 19, was sentenced to 34 months detention for his part in destroying two stolen vehicles used in the attack. Police say this could have helped two other people involved in the murder flee the country. These men are thought to be Suspect and Swavey.
“Suspcicious Acitivty”
Meanwhile, a post appeared on Suspect’s Instagram page confirming his arrest. Despite the rapper’s current circumstances, “Suspect’s Management Team” dropped a trailer and the tracklist for a new project. They claim “Suspect is innocent” and will be back. They pleaded for fans to support “Suspicious Activity,” out on Feb. 6.

Diamond Blue Smith, aka Baby Blue Whoaaaa, was arrested in 2020 for an alleged Payment Protection Program (PPP) scheme. The U.S. Department of Justice claimed the Pretty Ricky member attempted to scam the government out of $24 million in loans provided by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
Baby Blue and Pennsylvania towing company owner Tonye C. Johnson were charged with wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud in federal criminal complaints filed in the Southern District of Florida.
In August 2021, Baby Blue pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The 37-year-old Miramar, Florida resident was later sentenced to 20 months in federal prison.
“This sentencing serves as a deterrent to anyone who would commit fraud targeting COVID-19 relief programs,” stated Acting Assistant Director Jay Greenberg of the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division.
Jay Greenberg added, “Programs like these were created to help individuals during a pandemic, not for fraudsters to take advantage for personal gain. The FBI will continue to pursue criminal actors who engage in this activity.”

Soulja Boy has been working hard to make sure his legacy includes being recognized as the first rapper to… well, do everything. The “Crank That” hitmaker felt the need to correct fellow internet-savvy rapper Lil B on one of his takes.
On Monday, Lil B tweeted, “Wiz Khalifa was the 1st rapper I seen on Twitter. This was during MySpace. He was already huge on Twitter!” Those comments caught the eye of Soulja Boy.
The souljaboytellem.com album creator quote tweeted his “Swag OD” and “Y.G.R.N” collaborator and added, “😂😂😂you must be high as F##. I was the first rapper on Twitter. B stop that.”
Soulja Boy later posted, “Check the dates. Why u just cap 🧢 like that?” SB also uploaded screenshots of his Twitter profile and Wiz Khalifa’s Twitter profile.
According to the images, Soulja Boy joined Twitter in October 2008. Wiz Khalifa apparently signed up for the social media service in February 2009. For the record, Lil B first began engaging on Twitter in May 2009.
“Soulja don’t lie I see you bra!!!!!! Big homie!!!!!!” The BasedGod responded to Soulja Boy. Lil B returned to the 15-year-old platform to write, “@souljaboy is the big homie family and 1st rapper period!”
While Soulja Boy was checking Lil B over his tweet, Wiz Khalifa was reminiscing about 2010. The Pittsburgh-raised spitter tweeted to Lil B, “Love you, bro. Still remember Vegas when ‘Black and Yellow’ first came out.”
Some of the earliest high-profile rap stars on Twitter include Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter (November 2008), Sean “Diddy” Combs (December 2008), Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (December 2008), Wale (December 2008), Joe Budden (January 2009), and Fabolous (February 2009).

Indie Arie is standing in solidarity with Neil Young, removing her music and podcast from Spotify.
Young requested the streaming platform remove his catalog in protest against podcaster Joe Rogan. His view is “The Joe Rogan Experience” has been spreading damaging misinformation concerning coronavirus and vaccines. India Arie agreed although she has additional issues with the broadcaster. She released a statement on Monday evening (Jan. 31), citing her reasons for the decision.
“It’s Also His Language Around Race”
“I have decided to pull my music and podcast from Spotify,” said Arie. “Neil Young opened a door that I must walk through. I believe in freedom of speech. However, I find Joe Rogan problematic for reasons other than his Covid interviews. For me, it’s also his language around race.”
She continued, “What I am talking about is respect – who gets it and who doesn’t. Paying musicians a fraction of a penny? And him $100M? This shows the type of company they are and the company that they keep. I’m tired.”
Furthermore, the “Brown Skin” hitmaker is not here for anyone coming at her in the comments section. “I wonder who else is tired,” India Arie added in the caption. “Any slick talkers with private pages will be blocked. #worthy #paymusicians #deletespotify #respectmusicians #whatifweallleave”
A spokesperson for Arie confirmed to Rated R&B that the singer has already filed official requests to have her music taken down. She currently has 1.3 million monthly listeners on the streaming service.
India Arie Blasts The Music Industry
Meanwhile, the singer recently used the viral social media 10-year challenge to highlight “how TRASH the music industry is.”
“Seeing old pictures reminds me of how TRASH the music industry is,” she began in a series of posts on her Instagram Story. “SHEER and utter Trash. The music industry is racist.sexist.deceitful. It steals from artists. Trash. I’ll never heal from all of it because some of it shaped my life in ways I can’t get back. BUT! I LOOOOOVE who I am. So, I imagine the journey was meant to be. But those old pictures. The industry made me feel like I WASN’T beautiful. I can tell you some STORIES HONEY!”
However, India Arie is grateful for the experience and has emerged on the other side wiser and “MORE beautiful.”
“But in truth — I was just WAY ahead of my time,” she continued. “I used to really try to do everything right. Now? I do what’s honest. I’m grateful to have been heard! but also I paid a HIGH cost. And for ANYONE who I paved the way for — YOU are why it was all worth it.”
She added, “I HAVE GROWN FREE! And MORE beautiful. And exponentially SOULFUL! So. the journey was worth it. And MY MOST POWERFUL DAYS ARE STILL TO COME! And to everyone who in the industry who hurt, used, sued, played, stole from, betrayed me. THANK YOU. And Also [F### You].”
However, he is back delivering a stern message, although the intended recipient of his tweet is unclear. He posted a cryptic tweet during the early hours of Monday morning (Jan. 31.)
“You did not hit my girl/lil chick/ whatever you call it,” Meek Mill declared. “I just ripped b4 you,I know it’s a lil exciting we touch the same woman lol you don’t gotta downplay me to boost ya ego up lol just vibe out.”
However, people were confused and speculated about who Meek Mill might be referring to. Who is the chick? Who is the guy he’s subtweeting? Is he trying to “downplay” Meek to boost their own ego? So far, the questions remain unanswered.
Meanwhile, his former girlfriend and the mother of his one-year-old son posted a cute video yesterday. The pair separated in 2020 shortly after the birth of their child. Fashion designer Milan “Milano” Harris looked gorgeous, sporting a chocolate bodysuit from her brand.
She took to Instagram to show off her dancing skills, bopping along to dance anthem, “Gonna make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now.)”
“Did I kill it or nah,” she asked in the caption. Perhaps Meek Mill was scanning the comments and saw a response that had him battling the green-eyed monster.
Meanwhile, back on Twitter, Meek was being roasted in the replies to his outburst. While a few laughed and agreed, most were confused or simply wanted him to stop tweeting.
When one confused commenter asked for an explanation, another responded with “He had sex with a woman. Somebody had sex with that woman after , and that somebody is making it seem like he took her from Meek. Meek is explaining that it’s just his leftovers.”

In years past, one could find a Black History Month event in almost any corner of culture. But with the Omicron virus wreaking havoc on our nation, it has become progressively harder to have a meet-up to celebrate Black excellence in person.
But thanks to streaming services, platforms that have taken over how people consume content in the privacy of their own homes, people can celebrate BHM with the flick of a remote control.

Christian Hip Hop artist GAWVI is no longer a member of the Reach Records roster.
Lecrae’s label dropped GAWVI over lewd misconduct allegations. Reach Records issued a statement about his release on Monday (January 31).
“Due to behavior that is inconsistent with our core values, we have ended our professional relationship with GAWVI,” the label announced. “This was a tough decision for us because of the level of complexity and because we invest in our artists not just for their talent, but also as brothers and sisters in Christ.”
Reach Records continued, “This is something we have been processing for over a year and have wrestled with what would be the right way forward. New details that were provided made us realize today’s decision was necessary. We also want our actions to be a reflection of love, care, and concern for those who fail and those who are affected by our failures.”
GAWVI’s been accused of sending unsolicited pics of his private parts to multiple women while he was married. Christian rap website Rapzilla detailed the allegations against him in a story published on Monday.
“Each of us needs God’s grace and we invite you to pray for the families and individuals whose lives are being impacted,” Reach Records said regarding GAWVI. “This is not a chance to throw anybody away. We continue to hope for restoration to be the outcome.”
Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker tattooed themselves with an album title they’re not even using.
In a TikTok video posted by Machine Gun Kelly, the Interscope Records artist revealed his next album will be titled Mainstream Sellout. The LP was originally supposed to be called Born With Horns, which MGK and Travis Barker both got tattooed on their forearms.
“OK, we’re friends no matter what, right?” MGK questioned Barker – who said yes – in the TikTok clip.
Machine Gun Kelly followed up, “Remember when we got the new album name tattooed on our arms?”
The video then flashed back to six months ago when the two got the Born With Horns ink. After cutting back to the present, Barker came to the realization that MGK was changing the title.
Both men began laughing as MGK confirmed the switch. Barker asked what the new title was, leading to a graphic unveiling the Mainstream Sellout name.
Mainstream Sellout will be the follow-up to 2020’s Tickets To My Downfall, which was Machine Gun Kelly’s first pop-punk album. The rapper-turned-singer’s change in style helped him reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the first time in his career.
