Mass Shooting At Rap Concert In Miami Injures 26 And Kills 2

Police in Miami are looking for a trio of gunmen who opened fire at a rap concert earlier this morning (May 30).

Over 26 people were shot, and two people were killed at the El Mula Banquet Hall after an album release party for local artist ABMG Spitta.

According to Miami-Dade Police Director Alfredo “Freddie” Ramirez, the trio of gunmen were waiting outside of the Memorial Day Weekend party in a white Nissan Pathfinder, in what investigators say was a targeted shooting.

As the crowd exited the banquet hall around midnight, the men, clad in hoodies and ski masks and armed with handguns and semi-automatic rifles, started shooting into the crowd indiscriminately.

To complicate the incident, people in the crowd began firing back at the white Pathfinder, which was able to escape.

Two people were killed at the scene, and the rest of the victims, including an unidentified rapper who was shot in the ankle, were transported to local hospitals in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Police have no suspects, however, they are reviewing surveillance footage and scouring social media for clues.

“These are cold-blooded murders that shot indiscriminately into a crowd and we will seek justice,” Miami-Dade Police director Freddy Ramirez said. “My deepest condolences to the family of the victims.”

Local police said they were not aware the crowded event was taking place, and that no off-duty officers had been working the venue when the gunshots rang out.

Meanwhile, a local business has offered up $100,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the shooters.

The last time ABMG Spitta made headlines was for knocking out a father in front of his child at the Off The Wall trampoline park in October of 2019.

The mass shooting capped off a bloody Memorial Day Weekend in Miami.

On Saturday morning (May 29), six people were wounded and one person was killed during a drive-by shooting in the trendy Wynwood District of Miami.

50 Cent Calls Out “Weirdo” For Taking Business Meetings On His Behalf

If people have not learned by now, the one thing to know about 50 Cent is this – you don’t play around with his money.

A man learned this the hard way earlier today (May 30), after 50 Cent called him out to his 26 million followers on Instagram.

The rapper/mogul has a problem with a guy who goes by the name of Quadir Kenney Sam, claiming he has been misrepresenting himself as an employee of 50 Cent’s spirits company, Branson Cognac.

“👀This guy is a whole fraud, he does not work for Branson or have anything to do with my brands and is going around taking meeting with club owner’s,” 50 Cent snapped. “@quadirkenneysam you are a f###### weirdo.”

50 Cent blasts man for repping Branson Cognac on his behalf

Some of 50’s fans were legitimately confused since Quadir Kenney Sam represents Branson so hard. He even has multiple pictures and videos of himself posing with 50 Cent on his Instagram page.

After 50 Cent’s jab, Quadir Kenney Sam’s comments were filled with insults, jokes, and questions. So far, Quadir Kenney Sam has not replied to 50 Cent’s accusations.

50 is notorious for going after people who owe him money or fool with his brands.

For example, in 2008, Fif went after Taco Bell after the fast-food giant sent him a letter, urging him to change his name from 50 Cent to “79 Cent,” “89 Cent” or “99 Cent,” to promote their value menu.

The letter was released to the public first, and 50 sued – and won – after claiming they were diluting his brand and cashing in on his good name without paying him.

More recently, the rap star solved court documents to seize Teairra Mari’s assets, after she lost a revenge p### case and was ordered to pay him over $30,000.

50 has also shamed his debtors in public, for welching on loans. His targets have included Randall Emmett, Young Buck, Jackie Long, Rotimi, and others.

Take a look at some of the comments captured on Quadir Kenney Sam’s post of himself at KOD in Atlanta, where 50 was a recent guest host.

Jay-Z Reveals The Amazing Reason He Learned How To Swim

Jay-Z’s appearance on LeBron James’s#### show “The Shop: Uninterrupted,” continues to produce gems for the internet to consume.

In the first clip to go viral, Jigga revealed he started his boycott of the Grammys in 1998 because the organization had snubbed DMX’s#### albums It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.

In the new episode, which debuted on May 28 on HBO Max, the rap mogul revealed why he finally learned to swim so late in his life.

According to Hov, the birth of his first child Blue Ivy prompted him to wade in the water and finally learn how to swim.

“I didn’t learn how to swim until Blue was born. This is a metaphor for our relationship,” Jay-Z revealed. “If she ever fell in the water and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t even fathom that thought. I gotta learn how to swim. That’s it. That was the beginning of our relationship.”

While Jay-Z has his swimming abilities up the par, it’s unclear if he’s also worked on his diving skills. In 2013, he went viral after the paparazzi caught Jay-Z diving into a pool in the most awkward of positions.

The dive spawn thousands of memes placing Jay in a variety of hilarious situations, from diving off of the top rope of a wrestling ring, to him competing at an Olympic diving competition.

Gunfire Erupts On Boosie Video Shoot; One Man Critically Wounded

Rapper Boosie Badazz escaped death over the weekend, after gunshots erupted on the set of his music video.

Boosie was in Huntsville, Alabama around 4:30 PM, where he was shooting the video for his song “Clutchin” with Dee Rogers, when things went awry.

According to reports, over 100 people were on the set of video and some of them were armed with various weapons.

A video captured the moment the shooting started from the assailant, who let off at least four shots, sending everyone – including Boosie – running for their lives.

The police arrived on the scene almost immediately, where they came across people fleeing for their lives, as well as one man in his early 20’s, who was critically injured after being shot.

So far the police have no suspects and no motive for the gunfire.

This is the second time Boosie has been targeted in the last six months. In November of 2020, the Baton Rouge rap star was shot in the leg in Dallas, after attending a memorial service for slain artist Mo3.

Future Gets Dragged Online For Disrespecting Lori Harvey And Michael B. Jordan

Future’s diss to Lori Harvey might be backfiring against the Atlanta rapper.

The “Dirty Sprite” hitmaker had some harsh verses for Lori Harvey, on his collaborative track with 42 Dugg titled “Maybach.”

42 Dugg leaked an unreleased version of the song featuring Future dropping some barbed bars aimed at Lori Harvey, her stepdad Steve Harvey, as well as her new boyfriend Michael B. Jordan.

So far, neither Lori nor Michael has replied to Future’s toxicity, but the Twitter mob has been defending them both, while dragging Future over his lyrics.

“Lori Harvey ain’t ever spoke or said a word that’s how I know she playa on a different level lmao she a heart breaker fasho,” wrote one user.

Another person added: “Lori harvey lives in future mind rent free and its hilarious.”

Others commented that Lori Harvey was lucky she didn’t have a child with Future. In fact, Future’s cold war against Lori Harvey comes as he gears up for a real-life court battle with Eliza Reign, the mother of one of his six children.

The rap star is locked in a years-long child support fight with Eliza after he denied he was the father of their child – until a paternity test proved otherwise.

It is doubtful that Future even cares about the negative reception to his unreleased verse on “Maybach.”

During an interview earlier this week, the rapper said he had “tunnel vision” which makes him oblivious to criticism.

Cardi B Reportedly Heading To The WWE

Cardi B’s dreams are about to come true as she will soon be a part of the World Wrestling Entertainment culture.

According to a tweet by Andrew Zarian, host of the MatMenPodcast, the Bronx bomber will be hosting the league’s upcoming event. He captioned, “I can confirm that I was told cardi b is the host for SummerSlam this
year.”

https://twitter.com/AndrewZarian/status/1398451903873392641

Many are shocked, but the chart-topping rapper has been dropping hints for a while.

Many fans know that she has been rocking with the league since Eddie Guerrero and Booker T. She also told Lacey Evans, whose real name is Macey Estrella-Kadlec, in a Twitter exchange that she was interested in doing something with the brand.

Welp, this breaking news makes clear that when Cardi speaks, she gets what she wants.

The date for SummerSlam is scheduled for Saturday, August 21st. The location has not been announced but fans who cannot make it in person will be sure to catch it streamed on pay-per-view.

Earlier this year, the writers at the WWE played a practical joke on one of their star players.

On January 4, WWE champ Angel Garza thought that the league had “invited Cardi B, Kylie Jenner, and Ariana Grande to come here to watch RAW tonight.” He was sabotaged by another wrestler, Boogeyman. Fans immediately tagged Cardi and she blasted them … at first.

“Ok nomore wwE tweets I haven’t watched it in years,” she tweeted. “I was just confused on all the wwe tweets I was getting. Before this last thing I Hurd bout it was about a sexy wrestler name Carmella.”

Kwame Brown Lets Judge Joe Brown Go Off On Women…Cardi B & Lizzo!

Judge Joe Brown has not been on TV for quite a minute, but that is ok.

Judge Joe Brown is not playing with anybody. The former TV superstar judge is now more of a social media celebrity. Every so often, we hear him go off on somebody in a way that only reminds us that he’s getting up there in age. Maybe, just maybe, his filter is completely gone.

Well, in this new instance Judge Joe Brown goes off on Cardi B and Lizzo for the content they post on the Internet. He said, its wrong “when I see Lizzo with your bare ass trying to twerk in public in front of children” and remarks about Cardi B’s previous admission that she drugged and had men raped. I have to say, judge has no qualms expressing himself. Now, I don’t actually think most people would agree with what he just said in this particular video. What I think might be wrong is that some people feel like he singling out these two women, when men also do a plethora of things wrong in the culture.

Previous to this, I saw a comment in extremely poor taste of Judge Brown said about vice president Kamala Harris. And I just thought it was horrific what he said about our vice president. Now you may not like her and that’s perfectly your prerogative however I’m not gonna let him slander her in that way! But back to Kwame Brown, the verdict is still out on this guy. I get it he’s out for revenge and does not like some of the things people said about his basketball career. However, he’s giving Judge Joe Brown a platform to go off, kind a like hiding his hands though. I’m wondering what this guys deal is, Because I’m not completely convinced it’s genuine.

By the way, Stephen A. Smith got his revenge on Kwame Brown, focusing on his career – he says.

Jay-Z Reveals Grammy Boycott Started Over DMX Snub

In a moment that has now gone viral, Brooklyn rapper Jay-Z talked about why he boycotted the GRAMMY Awards in 1999 because the National Academy of Recording Arts & Science didn’t nominate DMX, who arguably had the best year in rap history.

In 1998, DMX made history by dropping two classic albums in one year, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.  It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, The Dog’s debut album dropped on May 19, 1998, and broke into the Billboard 200 charts at number 1, sold 251,000 copies the first week, and by 2000 had gone 5x platinum.

He and his label followed up with Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood that same year, on December 22nd.  That too went #1 with a bullet and stayed there for three straight weeks.

Still, with all of those accomplishments, the Academy did not recognize him and Jigga (despite winning Best Rap Album for Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life, was p##### and demonstrated it with his absence.

He recalls on Lebron James’ talk show, “The Shop: Uninterrupted,” “By the way, the first time I boycotted the Grammys was for [DMX]. We both came out that year, he didn’t get nominated. He dropped two albums—had two No. 1 albums in the same year—they didn’t even nominate him. I won that year for Rap Album, so my first Grammy win I wasn’t there. I wasn’t even in the building, because I boycotted it for him. There was a competitive thing, but it was big love.”

DMX and Jay-Z were connected for years and even let others float the idea of them becoming a crew (along with Ja Rule) called Murder Inc. Jay-Z stated that DMX was super competitive against him.

In the episode, he talked about their first meeting being a rap battle. Though remembering him in respect, he contends that the X couldn’t rap better than him with a laugh.  Ironically, their paths would cross again … this time as labelmates on Def Jam and touring together.

“My fondest memory of DMX is: he improved my stage show,” Jay-Z shared. “The lights are off. He’s in the hallway. It goes dun-dun. Now, the arena’s shaking, and I’m like, this is cool. Dun-dun. Then he goes grrrrr, and the f#####’ arena goes crazy. It’s deafening, and I’m like, ‘Oh, s###.’”

Jay-Z continued, “He’s running back and forth… Halfway through the show, then he takes his shirt off… the dog chain is drippin’, and he’s going nuts, and I’m like, ‘S###.’ This is halfway through.”

“First the guys were going crazy, now the girls were going crazy. Then he gets to the end, and he starts a prayer. And now they’re crying. The whole arena is crying tears. And they’re like, ‘Hey… now you go.’”

Seems like they were real friends.

Perhaps it was that friendship that moved Jay-Z when he was the president of Def Jam to clear X’s  $12 million debt with the label when he left.

Mary J. Blige “Walks” Into History At The Apollo Theater

“Wait a minute, what about my honey Mary?” — The Notorious B.I.G., “Just Playing (Dream)”

Apparently, The good folk at legendary The Apollo Theater heard Big’s petition and have finally honored Mary J. Blige by inducting her into the institution’s Walk of Fame.

The Queen of Hip Hop/ Soul reflected on her journey and her first time singing at the Apollo.

“My very first time performing here at the Apollo, I was not on stage as myself. I was on stage singing background for Jeff Redd. And from there on, it was all history.”

Some question her inclusion in this collective as other greats still have yet to be honored.

Even Billie Holiday, who transitioned in 1959, was just included six years ago — surely others have been looked over and deserved some sort of deference.

But is that fair, just, or even right in this assessment?

Consider the Yonkers native’s accomplishments in the less than 30 years as a solo artist and one might see how it is impossible not to give her a placard on the 125th St.
sidewalk.

She has twice been nominated for an Academy Award and thrice for the Golden Globes. Both nods celebrate her as a singer and an actor.

Out of her 31 GRAMMY nominations, she has collected nine of those golden trophies.

Mary also has countless BET and Soul Train Awards and earned the Black Girls Rock! Icon Award twice.

Her hits clutter the charts resulting in domination on all of them … regardless of genre.

And according to the singer, a documentary about her iconic album My Life will drop this June.

Moreover, she is ours and we think that if anyone deserves to be on the Apollo Theater’s Walk of Fame it is her … who represents the people of the Apollo more than she?

One fan named Sheila said it best.

“She is very deserving of this star. Mary J. means everything to me. She is the queen of R&B right now. Her voice is wonderful, marvelous. Her songs mean so much, they saved me.”

Another fan named Jacques Muna agreed adding, “She speaks from the soul. She sings from experience and her music is great, but it touches you. You can feel it. You can feel it, no matter where you’re from.”

Congrats, Mary!!!! We all love you.

Future Heading To Court To Fight Child Support For His Child With Eliza Reign

Atlanta native Future and the mother of his one-year-old daughter, Reign, still are not seeing eye-to-eye on child support.

Future, through his legal team, is asking the courts to set a date for trial to settle up issues surrounding the care of the child he shares with Eliza Reign.

The family court judge that has been assigned to the case had ordered them to work out their differences privately.

However, they have not and continue to bicker and take shots publicly.

The rapper, who is the father of six children, may be the source of much of the venom.

In 2020, he told the world Eliza referred to the little girl as a “check baby.”

As reported by AllHipHop.com, originally the woman had requested over $53,000 a month.
His response to that was that the baby was not his and that he needed proof.

After the DNA results confirmed his paternity, he offered to pay only $1,000. Not only did Eliza scoff, but so did the judge.

The judge determined that the “High Off Life” rapper should pay $3,200 a month for baby Reign’s expenses.

Eliza has asked for Future’s finances to be reviewed, subpoenaing his record contracts and business’ accounting.

She hopes new evidence will provide a reason for the child support amount to be reconsidered.

The fact that Future’s lawyers are requesting a date may help them move closer to resolve their dispute.

Victoria Elizabeth – “Drugs” Video

Multi-talented vocalist Victoria Elizabeth shares her new banger “Drugs” and its visual.

It’s the latest single from the Charlotte, N.C. artist, who has teamed up with fellow rising star T-Mac.

As Victoria explains it,

“The song has a young wild, and free-spirited type of energy that vibes with my intoxication lifestyle.”

That energy starts with both Victoria and T-Mac, whose lyrics and vocals both flirt with a woozy, sing-song quality that’s also immediately catchy, and it’s all perfectly complemented by ProdbyN1’s equally bass-heavy and melodic production.

Thanks to its sharp songwriting, earworm hook, and otherworldly beat, “Drugs” absolutely floats through your head as you listen to it. There’s a certain hypnotic feel to the track, which is yet another strong showing from Victoria.

If you want to hear more from this burgeoning talent, be sure to check out the new videos as well as her 2020 release, ‘The Last Call’ EP.

“Drugs” is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms through Supreme Regime (via EMPIRE.)

Kanye West’s “Goons” Threatened To Beat Up Tyson Beckford Over Kim Kardashian

Kanye West called his “goons” on Tyson Beckford three years ago … and now the model is telling the world what happened.

Wait … wait … wait … before you think it was about to get jiggy back in Chiraq, the Windy City where Yeezy was raised, think again.

The two were at Ralph Lauren’s 50th-anniversary party, where luminaries like Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey were also in attendance. According to Beckford, one of the first male supermodels of the 90s, Kanye was sitting across from him desperately trying not to make eye contact before ordering the hit.

Por Que?
Glad you asked.

The former Ralph Lauren model took to social media and said that Kim Kardashian’s body wasn’t “real.” Actually, in 2018, he said in a comment of one picture of her, “She is not real, doctor f##### up on her right hip.”

To add insult to injury, he added a green throw-up vomit emoji.

The fancy gala happened a little later in the year. Beckford, while being interviewed on the “Let’s Go Live! with Sharon Carpenter” Instagram show, spoke about the encounter.

He recalled the experience.

“I was standing in the middle of Oprah Winfrey and Hillary Clinton. He was on the other side of the table, and when I tried to make eye contact with him, he wouldn’t look at me,” Tyson Beckford explained.

Beckford talked about going into the bathroom and while there being approached by Ye’s homey, who said, “I suggest you get out of this bathroom before I wipe you all over the wall.”

“I’m like, ‘You did not want no smoke.’”

He told the host, “I had on my tuxedo. I would have undone my tie and got into it if you wanted to, but you didn’t. I think you didn’t realize how big I was.’”

Well, maybe Kanye didn’t want the smoke. But his ex-wife did and gave it expressly to Beckford, almost after he made the initial statement.

After he said that he didn’t “care for it personally,” in his comment, she clapped back with an emoji exclamation, reading with piping hot tea, Kermit the Frog, and nail polish, “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it,” implying Beckford was gay.

But Beckford continued to drag the plastic surgery comment.

“My opinion on women who do plastic surgery stays the same, not for me!” he wrote in part. “I personally don’t care for it! Done end of story!…

“Always gonna pick a Beyonce over anyone else.”

Jay-Z To Address Wall Street Big Shots At Investor Conference

Rapper and businessman Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter will tell his story to a room full of money-makers at The Robin Hood Foundation’s annual investor’s conference.

John Griffin, the founder of Blue Ridge Capital and Robin Hood board chair, told CNBC, “We are especially excited to welcome Jay-Z, one of the greatest entrepreneurs of his generation, to speak at the conference.”

One of the few certified billionaires in the Hip-Hop community, Jigga will break down his road to riches, detailing how he went from a local drug dealer in Brooklyn to the power broker that has made some of the most significant deals of the last twenty years.

“He exemplifies the visionary, cutting-edge investor that shares our stage each year to provide expert insights while supporting the measurable and sustainable programs Robin Hood operates to elevate New Yorkers out of poverty,” Griffin continued.

He will surely talk about his Tidal + Cash App/Square deal that resulted in him becoming a member of the financial services titan’s board of directors.

He will surely talk about his liquor companies: D’ussé Cognac and Armand de Brignac.

Armand de Brignac is popularly known as Ace of Spades and the rapper sold a 50 percent ownership stake of that hood favorite to Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) earlier this year.

He will talk about his 8-figure-plus investment into the cannabis industry, starting with his brand Monogram weed company. Jay-Z will definitely stunt on them with his accolades as a musician, an entertainment executive, and a talent scout.

Probably, the biggest stunt of them all will be how he got the biggest superstar in pop music, Beyoncé, to be his wife and mother of his three children.

His rags to riches story is iconic and the true-life representation of Robin Hood.

Four Times A Charm! Usher To Be A Dad Again

Usher is to become a dad for the fourth time.

The “Yeah!” hitmaker and girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea, who are already parents to eight-month-old daughter Sovereign Bo together, revealed they are expecting another bundle of joy.

Usher hosted the iHeart Radio Music Awards on Thursday night (May 27) – where Jenn showed off her growing bump.

The happy news comes after Usher gushed about his and record executive Jenn’s daughter during an interview with U.S. TV show “Extra,” explaining of Sovereign’s name: “So, Sovereign, man, is such a beautiful word and name to me, you know, a supreme ruler is obviously the defined name. She’s definitely ruling the household, but Sovereign Bo — Bo is at the end of it, so (she’s) my little ‘reign-bo.’ ”

Usher is also dad to Naviyd, 12, and 13-year-old Usher V from his marriage to ex-wife Tameka Foster.

The singer was also previously married to Grace Miguel from 2015 to 2018.

Rapper Sues Juice Wrld Over Stolen Song Allegations

Juice Wrld’s estate is going to have to battle another legal lawsuit over one of the rapper’s#### songs.

A rapper who goes by the name of Ghost Loft, claims Juice Wrld illegally sampled a portion of his song to make the record “Scared Of Love.”

According to documents obtained by TMZ.com, Ghost Loft says he made a record called “So High” in 2013.

Ghost Loft says Juice Wrld used 16 bars of his beat on “Scared Of Love,” which was included on his album Goodbye & Good Riddance,” which hit stores in 2018.

Ghost Loft says the track’s co-producer Mitch Mula has acknowledged he used a portion of “So High,” to create “Scared Of Love,” but he was never credited – or paid.

In addition to Juice Wrld’s estate, the late rap star’s mother Carmella Wallace is named as a defendant in the lawsuit.

This is not the first time Juice Wrld has been accused of swiping someone else’s song, and then being sued for it.

In October of 2019, the rapper, born Jarad Higgins was hit with a $15 million lawsuit filed by the now-defunct, pop-punk band Yellowcard.

Yellowcard insisted Juice WRLD’s big hit “Lucid Dreams” borrowed “melodic elements” of their song “Holly Wood Died” without permission.

Tragically, Juice Wrld” died of an alleged drug overdose in December of 2019 at Midway Airport in Chicago.

Shortly after his death, in July of 2020, Yellowcard decided to dismiss the lawsuit, although they may still file a complaint in the future.

Pop Smoke And King Von Featured On “F9” Soundtrack

Rap newcomers Pop Smoke and King Von will be posthumously serving up new material for fans as part of the soundtrack to the new “Fast & Furious” film, “F9.”

Pop Smoke is featured on a collaboration called “Lane Switcha” with Skepta, A$AP Rocky, Juicy J, and Project Pat, while Von appears alongside Lil Durk, Offset, Kevin Gates, and Trippie Redd on “Hit Em Hard.”

Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Jackson, was murdered in a Hollywood Hills home invasion-gone-wrong in February, 2020.

King Von was shot and killed in a fight outside an Atlanta, Georgia bar in November of 2020.

Future Completely Disrespects Lori Harvey, Steve Harvey And Michael B. Jordan In Leaked Verse

Rap star Future maybe heading for some beef with Lori Harvey’s new man, Michael B. Jordan.

The Atlanta rapper continues to disrespect his ex-girlfriend for unknown reasons. This time, 42 Dugg leaked the original version of their collaborative track called “Maybach” and it’s quite offensive.

https://twitter.com/42_Dugg/status/1398049763577110531

Magic City/I’m the owner tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her/Must have forgotten to tell her daddy/She begged me not to leave/Put baguettes on your ankles damn near up to your knees/She didn’t have a choice but to go f### a lame after me/Realest n#### hit the t###, she damn near OD’ed

Pretty harsh stuff from the Atlanta rapper, who dated Steve Harvey’s stepdaughter for about 8 months until she moved on to Michael B. Jordan.

It seems as though the Future’s insults are having no impact on the happy couple, which could be fueling his anger. Yesterday (May 27), the lovebirds were all smiles on social media after they posted pictures of themselves coordinating their outfits together.

On one of the captions in the pictures, Lori Harvey labeled MBJ “LOML,” short for “love of my life.”

Earlier this month, the current “it couple” were spotted out together attending the premiere of Michael B. Jordan’s latest film, “Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse.”

While Future may think he’s a lame, Michael B Jordan recently earned the title of People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” which might make him kind of a big deal.

Cardi B Pleads With Judge To Drop Autograph Assault Lawsuit

Cardi B has urged a judge to dismiss an autograph seeker’s assault lawsuit against her, insisting he instigated the alleged attack.

According to documents obtained, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker claims Giovanni Arnold can be heard on video verbally attacking her and her husband Offset, after unsuccessfully and aggressively trying to get her autograph following a Met Gala after-party in 2018.

According to Cardi, Arnold can be heard shouting: “Please beat me up. I’ll take all of your money.”

In his lawsuit, Arnold alleged three of Cardi’s security guards obliged and beat him up, but she counters the unnamed assailants did not work for her and she didn’t instruct them to beat up anyone.

She also pokes fun at her accuser’s claims she was a threat to him, explaining she was seven months pregnant at the time.
