Lionel Richie Recalls “Disastrous” Epic Brawl Between His Wives

Beverly Hills Altercation Revisited in Memoir

Lionel Richie opened up about a volatile moment from his past involving his first wife Brenda Harvey and then-girlfriend Diane Alexander in his new memoir Truly, calling the 1988 incident “the scandal of my century.”

The confrontation unfolded in Beverly Hills when Harvey allegedly discovered Richie and Alexander together. The encounter ended with Harvey’s arrest on charges including battery and trespassing. Although the charges were later dropped, the incident became tabloid fodder and left a lasting emotional impact on the singer.

Richie Describes “Most Awful Screaming Match of Life”

According to an excerpt published by People, Richie recalled the moment Harvey showed up unannounced at his beachside hideaway during their separation.

“What very few people knew was that Brenda and I were separated. I got a place at the beach, and I was hiding out there, trying to be alone, trying to decompress somehow, because it was killing everyone,” Richie wrote. “When the door opens, Brenda is standing there. There is a massive confrontation. Diane is in total shock and I’m trying to leave, to draw Brenda away. It’s the most awful screaming match of life, and it’s all in this small entryway.”

Marriage Fallout and Public Scrutiny

Richie and Harvey were married from 1975 until their divorce was finalized in 1993. During their marriage, they adopted Nicole Richie. The “All Night Long” singer later married Alexander in 1995. They had two children, Miles Richie and Sofia Richie, before divorcing in 2004.

Now 76, Richie reflected on the emotional toll of the media attention that followed the incident. “And I get it. Ladies and gentlemen, I get it,” he wrote. “That’s the saddest day in the life of a marriage. When you know you may love each other, still, and you have a history that you will always have, but it’s over. And you know it.”

He described the press coverage as “disastrous” but said the deeper pain came from watching Harvey suffer.

Richie has been in a relationship with Lisa Parigi since 2014. His memoir Truly, which details his personal and professional highs and lows, is available now.

Cassie Ventura Responds To Diddy’s 50-Month Prison Sentence: “Nothing Can Undo The Trauma”

Sean “Diddy” Combs received a 50-month federal prison sentence in Manhattan on October 3 after pleading guilty to domestic violence charges stemming from his long-term relationship with Cassie Ventura, who responded through her legal counsel following his courtroom apology.

“While nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed,” attorney Doug Wigdor said on behalf of Ventura. “We are confident that with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue healing knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration to so many.”

The 55-year-old music mogul stood before U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian, who delivered a harsh rebuke of Combs’s conduct during the sentencing hearing.

“A history of good works can not erase the power and control you had over the women you professed to love dearly. You abused them physically, emotionally and psychologically and you used that to get your way,” the judge said before sentencing Diddy.

Combs rose to fame through his Bad Boy Records label, helping launch the careers of artists like The Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige.

He later expanded into fashion, spirits and television, becoming one of Hip-Hop’s wealthiest entrepreneurs.

Now, the former entertainment heavyweight will serve his sentence at a federal facility and must register as a sex offender following his release.

EXCLUSIVE: Attorney Suing Fat Joe Claims He’s Receiving Medical Treatment After Rapper’s Lawyer Ruined His Rep

Tyrone Blackburn says his health has deteriorated as he accuses Fat Joe and attorney Joe Tacopina of orchestrating a public smear campaign and coordinating his arrest in an attempt to derail a $20 million lawsuit filed on behalf of a former Hip-Hop associate.

Blackburn, who represents Terrance “T.A.” Dixon in a federal case against the Bronx rapper, claims the pressure from Fat Joe’s legal team has pushed him into “severe medical distress” and compromised his ability to represent his client.

“These actions not only prejudiced me in the eyes of the public and my professional peers but also inflicted substantial personal and reputational harm that I continue to endure and are currently undergoing medical treatment for,” Blackburn said in a court filing.

The legal battle began earlier this year when Dixon sued Fat Joe, alleging decades of unpaid labor, sexual coercion, and psychological manipulation.

The lawsuit, filed in June 2025, accuses the rapper of forcing Dixon into thousands of sexually explicit acts under threat of violence or abandonment, while also denying him proper credit and compensation for his work as a lyricist and collaborator.

Fat Joe has denied all claims, calling them “disgusting lies,” and insists the lawsuit is an attempt to extort money through fabricated allegations.

His legal team, led by Tacopina, responded by filing a countersuit in April 2025 accusing Dixon and Blackburn of defamation, extortion and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Tacopina has been vocal in his criticism of Blackburn, calling the attorney’s filings “bogus” and accusing him of using AI-generated citations in court documents.

In defense filings, Tacopina described Dixon’s lawsuit as a “blatant act of retaliation” after Dixon was fired for misconduct.

But Blackburn says the legal attacks have gone beyond the courtroom.

On May 12, 2025, a 66-year-old process server attempted to deliver court papers related to Fat Joe’s lawsuit.

According to police, Blackburn reversed his vehicle and struck the man in the leg, causing minor injuries.

He was later arrested on June 25 and booked on multiple charges including felony assault, harassment, reckless driving and criminal possession of a weapon.

Blackburn insists the arrest was a setup.

“Defense counsel coordinated with local law enforcement to secure my arrest, asserting that I had ‘mowed down’ a process server with my vehicle,” Blackburn said. “This occurred despite my prior offer to waive service of process. This arrest, obtained through misrepresentation, has resulted in significant collateral consequences, including the suspension of my New York State Bar identification card and a hold on my pending open-carry license application.”

The arrest has added another layer of complexity to an already contentious legal war.

Blackburn’s team argues that the smear campaign is a deliberate effort to discredit him and distract from Dixon’s claims, which include allegations of sex trafficking, tax fraud, and misconduct involving minors as young as 15.

Dixon also accuses Roc Nation of helping to conceal and manipulate his authorship rights and royalties, claiming the label participated in efforts to intimidate him and obstruct his legal efforts.

Fat Joe’s camp has denied all wrongdoing and maintains that Dixon’s allegations are false and designed to pressure a settlement. Tacopina has threatened legal action against Blackburn for what he calls “desperate” tactics.

The case is currently being litigated in the Southern District of New York, with hearings scheduled through the summer and fall of 2025.

Kim Kardashian Claims Close Associate Put Hit On Her

Kim Kardashian Alleges Murder Plot in Season Seven Teaser

Kim Kardashian said someone she trusted tried to have her killed, a claim revealed in the newly released trailer for season seven of The Kardashians. The Hulu teaser, which dropped Wednesday, features Kardashian’s voiceover stating, “Someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life.”

The 44-year-old business mogul doesn’t identify the person or provide a timeline. However, the trailer’s tone and visuals suggest the incident left her deeply shaken. In one clip, she steps out of an SUV with a tense expression. In another, she appears emotional in a confessional, saying, “I’m happy it’s over.”

Police Presence and Family Reactions Heighten Drama

The trailer also shows a police vehicle arriving at a home as Kardashian says, “I am terrified out of my mind.” The moment adds to the gravity of her claim, though it remains unclear whether law enforcement investigated the alleged threat or if it was handled privately.

Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner also appear in the trailer, reacting to the tense environment. “Everybody’s kind of on edge,” Kendall says in a voiceover. Kylie adds, “I heard footsteps walking into my room.”

Childhood Home Sparks Emotional Memories

Beyond the alleged murder plot, the teaser also touches on the sisters’ emotional farewell to their childhood home. “Kylie and I have so much history in that house,” Kendall says. “We’ve snuck boys in that house and gotten each other out of trouble in that house and fought in that house.”

The new season of The Kardashians premieres October 23 on Hulu and Disney+.

Ice Cube Tour Bus Fire Bombing Investigation Results Are In

Ice Cube saw his tour bus go up in smoke last month in downtown Portland, Oregon, but investigators say the blaze wasn’t personal—it was random vandalism.

The fire broke out early on September 23 near Southwest Oak Street and Broadway, just hours after the Hip-Hop pioneer wrapped his Truth to Power performance at the Moda Center.

Portland Fire & Rescue crews arrived quickly, dousing the flames that had engulfed the front passenger-side tire and ventilating the smoke that filled the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

The rapper and actor wasn’t on the bus at the time of the incident. He had been on tour celebrating 40 years in the entertainment industry, with stops across the country featuring tracks from his N.W.A days to solo classics.

After speculation swirled online about whether the fire was targeted, Portland police issued a statement clarifying the nature of the incident.

“The front passenger tire fire of a charter bus on September 23 near the corner of SW Oak and Broadway is an open and active investigation that looks to be a random act of vandalism with no evidence of an incendiary device used to initiate the fire,” the department said.

Authorities haven’t made any arrests and the investigation remains open. Police are asking anyone with information to step forward.

The incident adds to a series of vandalism cases that have plagued downtown Portland in recent years. According to The Oregonian, city officials have been grappling with property damage and public safety concerns in the area.

Ice Cube, who rose to prominence in the late 1980s with N.W.A, has since built a multi-faceted career as a solo rapper, film star and producer.

The Moda Center stop was part of a national run that has drawn large crowds and highlighted his decades-long influence on Hip-Hop culture.

Nicki Minaj, Cardi B Continue To Threaten Each Other’s Kids, Families

Personal Attacks Escalate on X

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B reignited their long-standing beef on April 1 with a string of insults on X that veered into deeply personal territory—this time involving their children.

Minaj initiated the online clash by mocking Cardi’s financial status and appearance. “Camel & rat we are not fazed by botted tweets & bots in the comments. That’s precisely why you broke now,” she wrote.

She then took aim at Cardi’s friend before escalating to her children. “Desiree got fillers since I said she ugly now she ugliERRRRRR oh btch. camel let’s talk about YOUR kids today. THATS on the docket nigha! shuffles papers.”

Minaj followed up with a threat: “Ima kick your gums back into formation,” and added, “SHRUMP SAYS face ahh.”

Nicki Minaj Targets Cardi’s Daughter

Minaj’s most inflammatory post named Cardi’s daughter directly. “Dear Kulture VULTURE, your mom is pregnant with another monkey to add to her litter.” She continued, “The gag is that she was jealous of a little baby boy simply because his hair was longer than all 4 of you bald monkeys put together.”

These remarks triggered a heated response from Cardi.

Cardi B Responds With Harsh Accusations

Cardi fired back, calling Minaj “a sick pathetic loser ass demonic insane b####.”

“I said it back in 2018 and nobody believed me that you been talkin about my child since I was pregnant,” she wrote. “You BEEN jealous of my child.”

Cardi denied ever speaking about Minaj’s child and accused her of projecting. “You’re jealous of my kids because they beautiful and f##### smart and that’s why god punished you with having a slow ass kid.”

She added, “You hate your child because you wish you could brag on him and his milestones but the only thing you can brag on is hair you f##### dummy.”

Cardi then challenged Minaj directly. “You said you gonna kick my child gums back??? Didn’t you say you was in NY??? This past words now.. WHERE TF YOU AT???”

“Cuz today gonna be the day I go to jail,” she warned.

Nicki Minaj Targets Jay-Z

Minaj shifted her focus by referencing Rymir Satterwaithe, the man who believes Jay-Z is his biological father. “Dear Rymir, I’m sorry that camel framed you by putting things in your car, allegedly. I’m sorry he wanted u in prison.”

She continued, “He’s WEAK. ugly too, but…I guess when you have money invested into the private prison system…welp…idk. This is all alleged.”

Minaj also posted the name “Cathy White” without context, followed by a bizarre collage featuring a distorted image of Jay-Z, Marge Simpson, a cartoon dinosaur and stacks of cash. The post was captioned “3.27.26.”

A Feud Years in the Making

The public rift between the two Hip-Hop stars began in 2017 after Cardi’s “Bodak Yellow” topped the Billboard Hot 100, leading to comparisons with Minaj. Tensions grew after their joint appearance on Migos’ “Motorsport” in 2018, with Cardi alleging her verse was changed without her knowledge. Minaj claimed she was misrepresented in interviews.

Later that year, the feud turned physical at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week when Cardi threw a shoe at Minaj. Cardi later accused Minaj of liking social media posts that insulted her parenting, which Minaj denied.

Between 2019 and 2020, the conflict simmered online and in interviews. Minaj used her Queen Radio platform to take shots at Cardi, while Cardi responded with indirect tweets and interviews.

In 2021, both artists faced legal battles and continued trading subliminal messages. Minaj’s supporters accused Cardi of mimicking her style. Cardi responded by calling Minaj bitter and controlling.

By 2022 and 2023, the feud spilled into music. Minaj released tracks with lyrics interpreted as digs at Cardi, who fired back through social media and interviews.

The latest exchange, which unfolded on April 1, marked one of the most personal and hostile moments in their ongoing feud.

Tyrese Gibson Released After Arrest In Fatal Dog Mauling Case

Tyrese Gibson was arrested Friday in Fulton County after his Cane Corso mastiffs killed a neighbor’s dog in a deadly encounter that has now led to animal cruelty charges.

The 45-year-old actor and R&B singer was booked at 5:59 A.M. local time and released shortly after posting a $20,000 bond, according to county jail records.

The charges stem from a September 18 incident in which Gibson’s dogs attacked and killed a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Henry in the smaller dog’s own backyard.

Surveillance footage captured Gibson’s four large dogs roaming the neighborhood and pawing at a neighbor’s door just before the fatal attack. Henry’s owner discovered the dog’s body late that night, drenched in saliva.

A post shared by TYRESE (@tyrese)

The owner said Gibson’s dogs had a history of wandering the area without leashes.

Fulton County Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer confirmed there had been five separate complaints about Gibson’s dogs in the 10 days leading up to the incident.

“It is the negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free,” Dwyer said. “And now they have killed an innocent animal.”

Gibson initially agreed to surrender the dogs on September 22, but when the officers arrived, he requested more time. Police warned they would obtain a search warrant if he did not comply. When they returned, neither Gibson nor the dogs were at the home.

Through his representatives, Gibson denied avoiding authorities. AllHipHop reported that Gibson claimed he was in Los Angeles with his family and legal team.

“Tyrese wants everyone to know he is not on the run,” his representative said. “He says he’s in LA with his family and his attorneys are working to figure this all out.”

His legal team issued a statement expressing sympathy for the loss.

“Mr. Tyrese Gibson wishes to extend his deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog in this tragic incident,” the statement read. “His heart is truly broken, and he has been praying for the family constantly, hoping they may one day find it in their hearts to forgive him.”

Though Gibson was reportedly out of town when the attack occurred, his attorneys said he took full responsibility.

“As soon as he learned what had happened, he immediately made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome his two adult dogs and their three puppies in safe and loving homes,” the statement continued. “The liability of keeping them was simply too great, and his heart could not bear the thought of anything like this ever happening again.”

This case adds to a string of legal issues for Gibson. In September 2024, he was briefly jailed for failing to pay more than $73,000 in child support to his ex-wife, Samantha Lee Gibson.

A Fulton County judge found him in contempt of court, and he was released after agreeing to settle the overdue payments.

Gibson is also battling nearly $500,000 in unpaid legal fees from his divorce, according to court filings from his ex-wife’s legal team.

The “Fast & Furious” star, who first gained recognition as an R&B artist in the late 1990s, has faced ongoing financial and legal troubles since his 2020 split from Lee Gibson. The two share a young daughter.

The animal cruelty case remains open in Fulton County. A court date has not been announced yet.

50 Cent Reflects On Near-Fatal Shooting That Transformed His Career

Near-Death Experience Became a Creative Turning Point

50 Cent revisited the 2000 shooting that nearly ended his life during a revealing interview on Fox & Friends, explaining how the violent ambush outside his grandmother’s home in Queens pushed him to reimagine his music and rebuild his career from the ground up.

The rapper, born Curtis Jackson, was 25 when he was shot nine times in South Jamaica, Queens. The attack left him with injuries to his legs, hands and face, and derailed his early momentum in the music industry. The incident cost him his record deal and left him isolated.

“It shifted my concept,” Jackson said. “My first album concept was ‘Power of a Dollar,’ and then I went to ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’,’ the stakes just got higher.”

From Industry Rejection to Platinum Success

Following the shooting, Jackson said he had to navigate the music business alone after being dropped by his label.

“You look, and you go, well, what am I going to do?” he said. “The record company’s not answering the phone anymore. Everything’s changing. And then it’s like, you got to figure out how to do it on your own.”

That determination became the foundation for Get Rich or Die Tryin’, released in 2003. The album, which included the track “Many Men (Wish Death on Me),” chronicled his survival and became a defining moment in Hip-Hop.

Early Losses and Street Life Shaped His Perspective

Jackson’s resilience was forged long before the shooting. At age 8, he lost his mother in a house fire. Raised in one of New York’s toughest neighborhoods, he became involved in street life before turning to music as a way out.

The near-fatal shooting marked a turning point as he tried to leave that world behind. The trauma, he said, became the fuel for his creative and professional rebirth.

Expanding Into True Crime and Television

Now a media mogul, Jackson has stepped into the true-crime world as host of 50 Ways to Catch a Killer with 50 Cent, a streaming series on Fox Nation. The show follows investigators as they work to solve unsolved homicide cases.

“I had a team of people help me curate it, and what I do is try to solve things before they solve it on television,” he said.

Motivating Others Through Setbacks

Jackson used the interview to encourage others dealing with personal or professional struggles.

“There are no excuses. There’s no situation that they’ll go through, or that they can’t go through, and still be successful,” he said. He also hinted at future projects, including a possible second season of his crime series and a role in an upcoming Street Fighter film. But he made it clear he’s not chasing reinvention.

“I don’t want to be someone new,” he said. “I just want to be a better version of who I am.” The final two episodes of 50 Ways to Catch a Killer with 50 Cent are now streaming on Fox Nation.

Cardi B Caught In Three-Way Feud As JT Releases Diss Track “Barney B”

Cardi B finds herself at the center of a brewing three-way Hip-Hop feud as City Girls rapper JT released a scathing diss track targeting the “Barney B” while her longtime rival Nicki Minaj continues their recent social media battle.

The JT-Cardi B conflict dates back to 2022 when tensions first surfaced after JT congratulated GloRilla on her song “Tomorrow 2,” which featured Cardi B.

The situation escalated when Cardi seemingly took shots at JT and her relationship with Lil Uzi Vert on “Magnet” from her latest album “Am I The Drama?”

On that track, Cardi rapped: “All that dck ridin’, still ain’t get no feature-ass btch / She just mad she got a nia she be sharin’ bags with / My nia cheat, but I don’t stick no d##### in his ass, b*tch.”

So far, Uzi hasn’t said a thing, but JT and Cardi have been going back and forth on X.com, hurling insults at each other. The timing of JT’s musical response comes as Cardi B remains embroiled in a heated exchange with Nicki Minaj, which erupted on social media last week.

The Cardi B-Nicki Minaj feud reignited when Minaj mocked Cardi’s album sales, leading to a three-day war of words that included personal attacks on both rappers’ children.

The escalating feuds put Cardi B in an unusual position, fighting battles on multiple fronts. Her conflict with Nicki Minaj spans over a decade, while the JT beef represents a newer but equally intense rivalry. JT’s decision to release the diss track while Cardi battles Minaj appears strategic.

Both JT and Minaj have histories of supporting each other against common rivals, creating an alliance that puts additional pressure on Cardi B.

The feuds come as Cardi B promotes her sophomore album “Am I The Drama?” which recently topped the Billboard 200 chart.

Famous Rapper Sued For $27 Million, Stiffing Promoter To Fly On Jets, Buy Houses

Promoter Claims Rod Wave Pocketed Millions and Skipped Shows

Rod Wave is facing a $27 million lawsuit in Florida after a concert promoter accused the Hip-Hop artist of breaching a major tour deal and using advance payments to fund luxury purchases instead of completing his scheduled performances.

Grizzly Touring filed the federal suit, alleging the rapper—born Rodarius Marcell Green—accepted more than $57 million in tour-related payments but failed to deliver on his full commitment. According to the complaint, Wave only performed 26 of the 35 shows promised on his “Last Lap” tour.

“[Rod Wave] refuses to pay Grizzly a single penny of the more than $27 million he owes, and was required to pay in the first instance, and has instead chosen to spend his advance on private jets and lavish second homes,” said Grizzly’s attorney, Pravin Patel.

Contract Promised $40 Million for Full Tour

The legal dispute centers on a February 2024 agreement that guaranteed Rod Wave $40.25 million for completing the entire tour. Grizzly says the artist earned $29.9 million from the shows he did complete but then backed out of the remaining dates without returning the unearned portion.

The tour launched in October 2024 and was supposed to wrap by December. Grizzly claims delays began due to production complications, including problems with stage setup and breakdown. The company says those issues were Rod Wave’s responsibility, as he had approved the routing and logistics ahead of time.

Grizzly Accuses Rod Wave of Violating Exclusivity

Grizzly also accuses Rod Wave of breaching an exclusivity clause by announcing a new tour through a separate company. The lawsuit says this move directly violates the terms of their amended agreement.

“Adding insult to injury, [Rod Wave] also has publicly announced that he plans to launch a new tour through his own touring company, in direct violation of his exclusivity obligations under the Amended Tour Agreement,” Patel said. “And [Rod Wave] has made unfortunate statements about Grizzly, falsely claiming that some of the Shows during the Last Lap tour were cancelled or rescheduled as a result of poor scheduling and routing by Grizzly, which is simply not true.”

Dispute Over Tour Delays and Public Remarks

Grizzly claims Rod Wave made misleading public comments suggesting the tour delays were the promoter’s fault. The company says the problems stemmed from Rod Wave’s own production decisions and that it continued to cover venue and crew costs while trying to reschedule shows.

The promoter says it sent multiple demand letters to Rod Wave and his company, Hit House Entertainment Inc., but received no repayment or cooperation. Rod Wave’s legal team reportedly argued the contract became invalid due to “unilateral” and “last-minute” changes to the tour schedule. Grizzly denies that claim and says all changes were agreed upon in advance.

Promoter Seeks Damages and Court Order

Grizzly is asking a federal judge to award more than $27 million in damages, plus compensation for lost profits and legal fees. The company also wants the court to block Rod Wave from launching any new tours without their involvement, citing concerns about long-term business harm.

The original agreement was signed in February 2024. The case could set a precedent for how courts handle large advance payments and exclusivity clauses in the live music industry.

Killer Mike Applauds Young Thug & YFN Lucci For Squashing Longstanding Feud

Killer Mike is reflecting on the long-awaited truce between Young Thug and YFN Lucci, two of Atlanta’s most polarizing rap figures whose nearly decade-long beef finally came to a close after both served time behind bars.

Speaking on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, the Grammy-winning rapper and activist revealed that he and T.I. tried to mediate the conflict years ago, but their efforts were ignored.

“Violence is not good for money,” Mike said. “You guys who think that you run the streets — God bless our souls ’cause I been one of those guys — we don’t run s###.”

The feud, which erupted in 2015 after Lucci’s manager was allegedly killed by affiliates of Young Thug’s YSL crew, escalated into one of the most publicized rap rivalries in Atlanta.

It spiraled into social media threats and eventually criminal charges. Lucci was arrested in January 2021 for alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting.

Thug was taken into custody in May 2022 on RICO charges tied to an alleged criminal organization.

Killer Mike said “very powerful people” asked him and T.I. to step in and convince both artists to “cut the b#######,” but the warnings didn’t stop either from landing in prison.

After Young Thug and YFN Lucci’s respective releases in late 2024 and early 2025, something shifted. Instead of reigniting the feud, the two rappers chose collaboration over conflict.

Young Thug featured Lucci on his track “Whaddup Jesus,” while Lucci returned the favor with “Still Waiting” on his own album.

YFN Lucci Addresses Young Thug Reconcilliation

YFN Lucci explained the change of heart during a SiriusXM interview.

“We been through a lot,” he said. “Everybody lost people. We lost people. Most important, we lost our time. We had to be away from our family.”

He added, “Come home, it’s like, damn, what the hell can a n#### do to grow? We gon’ keep doing this s### and end up back in jail… or we gon’ fix this s### and make [it] look good for the A?”

Killer Mike praised their decision to move forward, calling it a smart shift in priorities.

“I just want to tell the athletes and the entertainers to take yourself more seriously than the homies around you take you,” he said. “‘Cause they want you to be the top of the streets, and I’m telling you, you can be top of the suites if you play it right.”

Both rappers dropped new projects on September 26. Young Thug released UY SCUTI and YFN Lucci unveiled ALREADY LEGEND, each featuring the other as a guest artist—a clear signal that the beef is behind them.

EXCLUSIVE: Convicts Diddy & Disgraced MAGA Billionaire Plot AI Platform From Jail

Diddy and Miles Guo Pitch AI Support Platform From Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs and Miles Guo, both incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, are working together on a proposed artificial intelligence platform aimed at helping at-risk youth and formerly incarcerated individuals.

The collaboration between the Hip-Hop mogul and the Chinese billionaire—also known as Ho Wan Kwok—was revealed in a court filing from Guo, who described their shared vision for a digital tool focused on emotional rehabilitation and community support.

“I have had multiple conversations with him, and they have been peaceful, enlightening and motivational,” Guo wrote. “He really cares about his name and his reputation.”

Combs Convicted on Prostitution Charges

Combs was convicted in July on two counts of transportation for prostitution. Prosecutors accused him of organizing sex parties involving escorts and drugs. He was cleared of more serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, following an eight-week trial.

Guo Convicted in $1 Billion Fraud Scheme

Guo, who was convicted in July 2024 for running a massive investment fraud, has not yet been sentenced. Last month, a federal judge ordered him to forfeit $1.3 billion in assets, including luxury homes, yachts and vehicles. According to Reuters, it’s one of the largest financial crime penalties ever issued in New York.

In his letter to the judge, Guo praised Combs’ behavior during their time in custody. “He personally asks me that when we are released we can create an AI platform so that we can help the people,” Guo wrote.

AI Project Aims to Help Youth and Ex-Offenders

The proposed platform would offer support to young people, returning citizens and musicians looking for direction. Guo said the two men often discuss how to give back and use their past mistakes as lessons for others.

“We talk about how to give back to society, to speak their minds freely and help the young generation from the mistakes he has learned from,” Guo wrote.

Despite their vastly different backgrounds—Combs as a global music icon and Guo as a political exile and convicted fraudster—the two appear to have found common ground in their desire to use their experiences for public benefit.

Guo’s sentencing date remains pending. His letter, however, paints Combs as someone seeking redemption through leadership and future planning.

“Because he has seen what this can do to your family and walking through the hell of this darkness, he almost found his light again,” Guo wrote.

Whether the AI platform ever becomes reality is unclear. But the correspondence offers a rare look at how two inmates are trying to transform their incarceration into something constructive.

On Friday (October 3), Combs was sentenced to four years in prison.

Kevin Gates Causes Speculation With Ferocious New Song—An Alleged Boosie Diss

So… remember when everybody swore Kevin Gates and Lil Boosie patched things up? Then didn’t even have a thing to patch up, because they mostly said there was no beef. But, then they “made good” on whatever was going on. Yeah, well the streets are whispering that might not be the case anymore. Gates just dropped a joint called “F## Em” and it’s so raw that YouTube slapped an age restriction on it. That alone should tell you the energy is different.

Now, folks online are already dissecting the lyrics, and some are convinced he’s firing subliminals in Boosie’s direction. Nothing is named directly, but if you know the history, you know the eyebrows are raising. It wasn’t that long ago they were FaceTiming with NBA YoungBoy and Fredo Bang to “squash everything,” right? But Hip-Hop being Hip-Hop, one verse can flip all that back into question marks. Boosie is looking at some jail time and I cannot imagine he wants any beef with anybody. He’s asking Trump for a pardon.

But…check out this line:

You ain’t New Orleans to Baton Rouge/still in the trenches controlling traffic/you don’t pull up and hop out solo/you ain’t MR. LOUISIANA/ay what’s happenin’/b#### I’m here/I’m Mr. Louisiana…”

And this is reportedly Boosie’s chain…

Is Gates really talking to Boosie? Or is this just Gates — unfiltered, uncut and letting stray bullets fly? By the way, he does call out “The DA” and others like “hoes” and whatever. Anyway, Boosie has said over and over, “I ain’t never had no issues with Gates.” But when a record is literally titled “F## Em,” you already know people are going to start guessing.

Don’t get it twisted, I’m not saying there’s a war brewing in Baton Rouge. But if Boosie even thinks this record is about him… all that FaceTime family reunion could be out the window.

UK Rapper Dave Reveals First Solo Album In Four Years With Surprise Announcement

Dave lit up Instagram earlier this week with a surprise reveal of his third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, set to drop October 24, marking his first full-length project in over four years.

The South London rapper, born in Streatham, shared the news on his official page with the album artwork and a direct message to his followers: “THE BOY WHO PLAYED THE HARP MY 3RD ALBUM 24TH OCTOBER 2025 PRE ORDER LINK IN BIO.”

A post shared by SANTAN (@santandave)

Fellow British rappers quickly flooded the comments, with Potter Payper hinting at a possible feature, Stormzy expressing his excitement, Chip writing, “Looking forward to this,” and Nemzzz adding, “That time.”

Pre-orders are now live on Dave’s official website, though no tracklist or guest features have been announced yet.

The 27-year-old lyricist hasn’t released a solo album since 2021’s We’re All Alone in This Together, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. Albums Chart and landed at No. 10 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.

His 2019 debut, Psychodrama, also topped the U.K. chart and won the Mercury Prize and a BRIT Award for Best British Album.

Dave’s rise began in 2016 when Drake jumped on the remix of his song “Wanna Know.” A year later, he dropped the Game Over EP, which helped cement his place in the U.K. Hip-Hop scene.

But his influence stretches beyond music. At the 2019 BRIT Awards, Dave used his performance to call out the U.K. government’s handling of the Grenfell Tower tragedy. His politically charged track “Question Time” earned him an Ivor Novello Award in 2018.

In 2023, Dave teamed up with Central Cee for the single “Sprinter,” which held the No. 1 spot on the U.K. Singles Chart for 10 weeks, setting a record for the longest-running rap chart-topper in British history. The track appeared on their joint EP Split Decision.

Anuel AA Allegedly Attacked Man At Theme Park Leaving Him Injured & Son Terrorized

Lawsuit Alleges Violent Attack At Florida Water Park

Anuel AA is at the center of a civil lawsuit in Florida after a man claimed the Latin trap artist physically attacked him at Universal Orlando Resort’s Volcano Bay, resulting in serious injuries and emotional distress for his family.

The suit, filed by Fernando Dávila, accuses Anuel AA—real name Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago—of launching an unprovoked assault in a public area of the park on April 25, 2025. Dávila says the incident left him hospitalized with long-term physical damage, including hearing loss and disfigurement.

Victim’s Family Claims Emotional Trauma

The complaint also includes claims from Dávila’s daughter and her mother, Theresa Castillo, who say they witnessed the alleged beating and suffered “severe emotional trauma” as a result. The family is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages for medical expenses, lost income and psychological harm.

According to the lawsuit, Dávila was “violently attacked and beaten by the defendant (Anuel) who was present as a guest, in an unprovoked incident in a public and accessible area of the park.” The court filing lists a range of injuries, including “bodily harm, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, hearing loss, hospitalization, medical expenses and aggravated pre-existing conditions.”

Universal Orlando Also Named In Suit

The legal action doesn’t stop with Anuel. Universal Orlando Resort is also being sued for what the plaintiffs say was a failure to provide adequate security and properly respond to the situation. The lawsuit argues that the park’s alleged negligence made the altercation worse.

The plaintiffs have requested a jury trial and are pursuing damages for both physical and psychological suffering.

No Comment From Anuel AA Or Universal

Anuel AA’s legal team has not issued a public response to the allegations. Universal Orlando Resort has also remained silent about the lawsuit.

The case is expected to proceed in Florida courts in the coming months.

This isn’t Anuel’s first encounter with the legal system. In 2016, he was arrested on federal weapons charges after police discovered several firearms and more than 150 rounds of ammunition during a raid in Santurce, Puerto Rico. He served 30 months in prison and was released in 2018.

Teenager Charged in Assault Of Elderly Arena Worker At Controvesial Rapper’s Concert

Teen Charged After Violent Outburst at T-Mobile Center

NBA YoungBoy headlined a concert in Kansas City that ended in chaos when a teenager attacked a 66-year-old arena employee, drawing felony charges and raising concerns about venue safety.

The incident happened on September 21 at the T-Mobile Center during the rapper’s performance. A video that quickly spread online shows the teen pushing longtime staffer Thomas Schlage to the ground and repeatedly punching him. The teen also allegedly hit a security guard while being removed from the arena.

The 16th Judicial Circuit’s Juvenile Office in Jackson County charged the minor with one felony count of assault and one misdemeanor. His name has not been released due to his age.

Seating Dispute Escalates Into Physical Attack

The confrontation reportedly started over a disagreement about seating. Pastor Robert McDaniel, who witnessed and recorded the incident, told Rolling Stone, “He was asked to move to another place, because his ticket wasn’t where he was sitting. And immediately he just completely lost it.”

Schlage, who has worked at the venue for years, described the teen’s aggression as overwhelming. “I mean it is serious; I went down and had blows to my head. Just getting him off, getting him off of me … because he was so enraged, so we were just, in essence, trying to protect the fans.”

Arena Worker Calls for Accountability and Respect

Despite the physical toll, Schlage responded to the charges with measured words. “Accountability is important,” he said. “It was kind of sad things got to this point. Restraint, cooperation, and respect are important lessons to learn.”

The T-Mobile Center has not commented on whether it will update its security protocols following the incident.

NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, has a well-documented legal past involving charges related to drugs and firearms. Most recently, his Chicago concert was canceled due to security concerns, according to NBC News.

Because the suspect is a minor, court proceedings will remain sealed.

Bad Bunny Explains Why He Did 100 Pullups After Jay-Z Called About Super Bowl

Bad Bunny Got the Call Mid-Workout

Bad Bunny was in the middle of a training session when Jay-Z called with career-defining news: he’ll headline the 2026 Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Puerto Rican artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, immediately felt the rush.

“I was in the middle of a workout,” he told Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden. “I remember that after the call, I just did like a hundred pull-ups. I didn’t need more pre-workout s— or whatever. It was very special. was so special.”

First All-Spanish Set in Super Bowl History

The 31-year-old will be the first artist to perform an entirely Spanish-language set during the Super Bowl halftime show. His announcement video, filmed on a beach in his hometown in Puerto Rico, was released online by Apple Music, the NFL, Roc Nation and Bad Bunny just a day before the official confirmation.

“I’m really excited for my friends, my family. Puerto Rico, all the Latino people around the world. I’m excited about my culture. I’m excited about everything, not just for me. It feels really good. The beach where we record[ed the announcement] is my hometown beach. So it’s a very special thing for us,” he said.

Jay-Z Praises Bad Bunny’s Cultural Impact

Jay-Z, who has worked with the NFL since 2019 through Roc Nation to produce live music events, praised Bad Bunny’s influence and what he represents.

“What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage,” Jay-Z said in a statement.

Bad Bunny previously appeared at the Super Bowl in 2020, performing alongside Shakira during her halftime set. This time, he’ll be front and center.

Tour Plans and Super Bowl Timing Align

The halftime performance will coincide with Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. He initially avoided U.S. cities due to concerns about ICE presence at venues. Speaking to i-D magazine, he explained, “There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate — I’ve performed there many times.”

He has since added U.S. dates, which will now align with his Super Bowl appearance.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL,” he said.

Super Bowl LX will be held in the Bay Area on February 8, 2026. The game and halftime show will air on NBC and stream on Peacock and NFL+.

Brooklyn Drill That Appeared With Donald Trump Hauled Off To Prison To Start Five-Year Bid

Sheff G began serving a five-year prison sentence Wednesday morning in Brooklyn after pleading guilty to attempted murder and conspiracy charges tied to a sprawling gang investigation. The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Michael Williams, was taken into custody at Brooklyn State Supreme Court at 9 a.m.

The charges stem from a 140-count indictment that targeted 32 alleged affiliates of the “8-Trey Crips” and “9 Ways Gang,” which prosecutors say were responsible for a wave of violence across New York City.

Prosecutors Linked Lyrics to Street Violence

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez described Williams as both a “founding father” of Brooklyn drill music and a “gangland godfather.” The case has reignited national debate over the connection between drill rap and real-life violence, with authorities citing lyrics and social media posts as evidence of criminal activity.

NYPD Assistant Chief of Detectives Jason Savino said during the investigation, “If Sheff said something, it happened. A simple text, ‘We got to get a big one,’ created a war.”

Although prosecutors initially sought a 20-year sentence, the judge reduced it to five years, noting there was no proof that Williams personally fired a weapon. He will also serve five years of post-release supervision.

Before his arrest, Williams was riding a wave of success. He had just wrapped up an 18-city tour with Sleepy Hallow, ending with a packed show at Manhattan’s Terminal 5. In an interview with FOX 5 NY’s Lisa Evers, Williams said, “We be doing the shows, and after the shows we be doing the meet and greets. So we really like getting to talk to the fans and see what songs they like.”

When asked about violence at his performances, he responded, “Not at all. Not at all Lisa.”

Despite his rising profile, Williams had a long history with street gangs. He joined the 83 Gangsta Crips at age 12 and had previously served time before turning to music full-time.

Political Appearance Raised Eyebrows

In May 2024, Williams and Sleepy Hallow appeared on stage with former President Donald Trump during a Bronx campaign rally. Both artists were already facing gang-related charges at the time, and the appearance drew widespread attention.

After posting $1.5 million bail in April, Williams used his brief freedom to launch a record label with Sleepy Hallow, secure a major deal and collect multiple gold and platinum certifications.

Because his conviction came through the state court system and not federal charges, Williams is not eligible for a presidential pardon. He officially began serving his sentence on June 12, 2024.

Jimmy Fallon To Avoid Politics After Jimmy Kimmel Suspension & Pressure By Trump

Fallon Distances Himself From Political Jokes

Jimmy Fallon made it clear from New York this week that The Tonight Show won’t be diving into political waters, especially after Jimmy Kimmel was briefly taken off air by ABC. Speaking to CNBC on Tuesday, Fallon emphasized his commitment to keeping his show focused on humor, not headlines.

“Our show has never really been that political, you know,” Fallon said. “We hit both sides equally, and we try to make everybody laugh, and that’s really the way our show works.”

Kimmel’s Suspension Prompted Industry Buzz

Kimmel’s late-night program, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, was temporarily pulled by ABC on September 17 after his remarks about conservative figure Charlie Kirk drew attention from the Federal Communications Commission. He returned to the network six days later.

Fallon used his own monologue on September 18 to address the confusion surrounding the situation with his usual comedic tone.

“Well guys, the big story is that Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC after pressure from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), leaving everyone thinking WTF? What’s going on?” Fallon joked. “This morning I woke up to 100 text messages from my dad saying, ‘I’m sorry they cancelled your show.’ And I go, ‘That’s not me!’ That’s Jimmy Kimmel!’”

Fallon Praises Kimmel But Stays His Course

Despite the controversy, Fallon had kind words for Kimmel during his interview and on air.

“He’s a decent, funny and loving guy,” Fallon said. “And I hope he comes back.”

While Kimmel’s suspension sparked larger conversations about free speech and content boundaries in late-night television, Fallon said he’s sticking to his formula.

“Our monologues are kind of the same that we’ve been doing since Johnny Carson was hosting The Tonight Show,” Fallon said. “So really, I just keep my head down and make sure the jokes are funny.”

Writers Keep the Show Balanced

Fallon credited his team for helping maintain the show’s tone and direction.

“We’re just trying to make the best show we possibly can and entertain everybody,” he said. “We have a lot of clever, smart writers.”

Kimmel resumed hosting duties on September 23.

Dave Chappelle Mocks American Censorship, Charlie Kirk, At Riyadh Comedy Festival

Chappelle Says It’s Easier to Speak in Saudi Arabia Than the U.S.

Dave Chappelle didn’t hold back during his set at the Riyadh Comedy Festival in Saudi Arabia, using the stage to compare speech rights in the Middle East to those in the United States. The comedian told the crowd, “It’s easier to talk here than it is in America.”

His comments, delivered in a country widely criticized for its crackdown on dissent and press freedoms, immediately drew attention for both their substance and their setting.

“Right now in America, they say that if you talk about Charlie Kirk, that you’ll get cancelled,” Chappelle said, according to The New York Times. “I don’t know if that’s true, but I’m gonna find out.”

Other Comics Weigh In on the Controversial Venue

Chappelle wasn’t the only high-profile name at the event. The festival lineup also featured Bill Burr, Pete Davidson, Jack Whitehall and Jimeoin. But not everyone in the comedy world was on board with the venue choice.

Marc Maron took a jab at the festival during a recent performance, questioning how it could even be marketed. “I mean, how do you even promote that? ‘From the folks that brought you 9/11. Two weeks of laughter in the desert, don’t miss it!’” he said. “But don’t let that stop the yucks, it’s gonna be a good time!”

Comedian Declined Offer Over Censorship Rules

Atsuko Okatsuka turned down an invitation to perform, citing strict content restrictions in her contract. She revealed that she would have had to “adhere to censorship rules” regarding what topics she could joke about.

Her decision highlighted the tension between performing in a country with known speech limitations and maintaining creative autonomy.

Festival Continues Despite Scrutiny

Despite the criticism, the Riyadh Comedy Festival remains on the calendar and is expected to run through early October 2025. The event continues to draw international acts, even as debate grows over the implications of performing in a country with a restrictive record on civil liberties.
