Nebraska man takes cruise on Enchantment of the Seas. Then 2 windows blow out: ‘No thanks’

Kurt Goetzinger (@kurtgoetzinger), an Omaha, Nebraska, marketing professional, had a mostly pleasant Caribbean cruise end in seasickness. But it was all part of the harrowing experience in which 16-foot waves shattered two windows on Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas a week ago. The waves flooded cabins and injured two women as the ship rolled through rough Gulf of Mexico seas.

“You know what this is?” Goetzinger asked, pointing to two b### bags as he sat on a staircase. “They’re saying … we have 16-foot waves outside.”

He’s clearly not in the best shape, but it appears to be the case with many on the boat.

“Last night, two of the port windows on Deck 2 blew out,” he noted, adding that water was getting into the rooms. “This is the solarium. And, the pool’s obviously closed and empty. … Had some ginger ale and some ginger tea. That helped a lot.”

What Happened on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas Ship?

Candid Cruise reported on the effects of those few rough days. Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas departed Tampa, Florida, on Jan. 31 for a five-night Western Caribbean cruise scheduled to visit Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, before returning to Tampa on Feb. 5.

On the first night, two oceanview windows on Deck 2 failed under the force of the high-pressure seawater from the 16-foot waves. The rolling and pitching of the boat in the waves wasn’t friendly for the people who typically aren’t used to it.

Passengers shared photos and videos on social media showing water pooling in the corridors, soaked carpeting, and standing water under beds. Crew members were forced to lay towels throughout the hallways to absorb the incoming water.

One woman replied to a woman’s TikTok breakdown, calling out someone who claimed the reporting wasn’t factual.

“It’s all true because I am the woman with the 5-year-old child who was in cabin 2554, [on the floor where] the windows were busted. We had 4 rooms because of this [and] all [our] belongings basically all wet, all electronics broken. So all completely true,” she said.

Candid Cruise further reported that “passengers impacted by the flooding say they are awaiting further updates from the cruise line regarding cabin access and how the remainder of the voyage will proceed. Some guests aboard the sailing have stated that communication has been limited or non-existent following the incident.”

What About Goetzinger?

Goetzinger’s seasickness is not at all uncommon on large boats, even in calm seas. It is a form of motion sickness that occurs when the brain gets conflicting signals from different sensory systems. Not everyone gets motion sickness, and those who do can have it in varying states.

The typical symptoms are dizziness, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting, and those cold sweats that often precede the toilet runs. If it is already set in, get some air, or redirect your gaze onto the horizon for sensory stability. Many ships have motion sickness glasses or bracelets.

Ginger has long been a staple for motion and seasickness therapy.

For some, it can be partly or wholly prevented by Scopolamine-brand skin patches or oral pills. For the patch, put it behind your ear three to four hours before travel, or in this example, the cruise, and replace it every three days. Dramamine-brand (dimenhydrinate) antihistamine has always been a popular choice. Staying hydrated is always necessary, and eating a light meal with starchy foods before takeoff can help.

If you’re on a cruise, one source says to “book a cabin toward the front or middle of the ship. If you can, choose one on a lower level, closer to the water.”

Despite the experience, Goetzinger says that the trip was fantastic overall and he and his family will “absolutely be cruising with [Royal Caribbean] again.”

“I love when I say I’ll never go on a cruise and ppl are like, ‘you don’t even notice you’re on a boat!’ THEN WHY ARE THERE B### BAGS?” one person commented.

“No thanks – this is not a vacation this is a nightmare,” said another woman.

One person said they’ve experienced even worse: “[16-foot waves] is nothing, we hit 35 foot waves in Alaska once…even the crew was getting sick. High seas is THE WORST.”

But some, like Goetzinger, will always be back. “I’ve been on 33 cruises during every season, and I’ve never had any issues! I will never stop cruising!” one wrote.

AllHipHop reached out to Goetzinger via TikTok message and comment and to Royal Caribbean via email. We will update this story if either party responds.

@kurtgoetzinger Last night on Enchantment of the Seas was intense, and today isn’t much calmer. A major winter storm in the Gulf has brought some serious swells, I’ve heard over 16 feet. On deck 2, two cabin windows blew out and ocean water made its way into rooms and hallways. The ship was locked down for safety, so we stayed in our room most of the night. I started feeling a bit queasy late last night and went out for ginger ale and ginger tea. Seeing b### bags on the handrails definitely got my attention, but thankfully I didn’t get sick. Pools are closed and the top deck is completely shut for now. Riding it out and hoping things settle soon. #BeWellDoGood #lifeboatoftheicon #CruiseLife #RoyalCaribbean #GulfOfMexico ♬ original sound – KurtGoetzinger

Bad Bunny Super Bowl Show Triggers Donald Trump Nuclear Meltdown

Bad Bunny just delivered the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history. How did Donald Trump respond? A complete meltdown on Truth Social that proves he’s wildly out of touch with America.

The Puerto Rican superstar pulled in 135.4 million viewers Sunday night with his Spanish-language performance at Super Bowl LX. That crushes last year’s record of 133.5 million viewers.

Meanwhile, Trump sat in Florida posting angry rants instead of watching the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29-13.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”

The president kept going with his tantrum. “This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day.”

Trump also complained that “nobody understands a word this guy is saying” and called the dancing “disgusting.”

Apparently, the president missed the memo that 41.8 million Americans speak Spanish at home. That’s roughly 13.5% of the population, according to Census Bureau data.

Bad Bunny made history as the first artist to perform an all-Spanish halftime show. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin joined him on stage. The performance featured powerful imagery celebrating unity across the Americas.

The rapper held up a football, reading “Together, we are America,” while screens displayed “the only thing more powerful than hate is love.” He shouted “God bless America” and named countries from Chile to Canada while flags waved behind him.

Conservative group Turning Point USA tried to counterprogram with its “All-American Halftime Show,” featuring Kid Rock. That alternative show drew about five million viewers on YouTube.

Bad Bunny’s audience was 27 times larger. The viewership gap tells the real story here.

Americans overwhelmingly chose Bad Bunny’s message of unity over TPUSA’s divisive programming. Even California Governor Gavin Newsom declared Sunday “Bad Bunny Day” in his state.

Trump previously said he’d “never heard” of Bad Bunny, despite the artist being one of the most-streamed musicians worldwide. The president called Bad Bunny a “terrible choice” for the halftime show weeks before the performance.

Bad Bunny used his Grammy win last week to protest Trump’s immigration crackdown. “Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say: ICE out!” he said while accepting the award for best música urbana album.

“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens,” Bad Bunny added. “We are humans and we are Americans.”

The Super Bowl performance came just days after that Grammy speech. Bad Bunny didn’t mention Trump directly during halftime, but his unity message stood in stark contrast to the president’s divisive rhetoric.

Despite Trump’s meltdown, people loved Bad Bunny’s show. Social media buzzed with praise for the artistry and star-studded cameos throughout the performance.

The president’s angry reaction reveals more about his own insecurities than Bad Bunny’s performance.

Cardi B & Stefon Diggs Spark Breakup Rumors After Super Bowl LX

Cardi B was the talk of the Super Bowl…more than the game.

The postgame conversation after Super Bowl LX consisted of Bad Bunny and Cardi B. The whispers started at halftime. NFL star Stefon Diggs was failing fast as the Seattle Seahawks manhandled the New England Patriots – 29 to 13. The Hip-Hop and sports gossip universe noticed something else entirely: no support or love from Cardi.

Cardi B: News, Drama, Beef & More

According to social media detectives who never sleep, Cardi and Diggs quietly unfollowed each other shortly after the final whistle. On Super Bowl Sunday? In a losing effort? Add to that the fact that Cardi appeared to leave Levi’s Stadium early and suddenly the plot thickened again.

Cardi was spotted singing along to Bad Bunny from inside her car just after halftime. She made a brief cameo alongside Pedro Pascal, Karol G, Alix Earle, and Jessica Alba. Wonderful! Instead of celebrating a possible historic moment with her man, she left. DAMN!

Even before kickoff, there were signs. When an ESPN reporter asked Cardi if she had any inspiring words for Diggs ahead of the game, she reportedly offered a curt “Good luck” and kept it moving. Just good luck, my guy. LOL! Five baby mamas and numerous court cases will do that.

But, do remember just two weeks ago, Cardi was on the field celebrating the Patriots’ AFC Championship win over the Denver Broncos. She was yelling “We are going to the Super Bowl” in head to toe leather and looking very much like a proud partner. Now? ICY! What changed?

The two went public with their romance last May at Madison Square Garden and welcomed a son together in November 2025. This has been a whirlwind. A newborn, a Super Bowl loss, and an apparent social media split is a lot. Cardi has three children with Offset and Diggs has those five kids with five other women…

I guess Cardi unblended the family.

As always, nothing has been confirmed. AllHipHop rumors will stay in the mix like a fresh DJ blend.

She’s come a long way since we talked to her.

‘This happens all the time’: Midnight ballerina reveals the biggest ick she gets from customers. Then a bartender chimes in

A “midnight ballerina” revealed what her “biggest ick” was while working with customers. The answer, as it turns out, may just be how uncomfortable men can be in empty spaces.

TikTok user Sav (@savshop.us), a duffle bag seller and dancer, expressed dismay at customers complaining about the atmosphere in the club she works at.

“My biggest ick when it comes to customers is … [when] they’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, why is it so dead in here?’ Like, looking around, like, looking for other tables, other customers when there’s, like, a bunch of dancers there,” Sav explained. “Did you come in here to circle jerk with other customers, like, other patrons that came here to party?”

She posted her shock at some men’s behavior when walking into her club, which garnered over 3,000 views within the span of three days. Turns out, bartenders and others within the industry agree with her. Men, too, shared why they sometimes feel uncomfortable if they enter an empty club, adding to the conversation.

Why Would a Club Be Empty?

Many commenters rushed to add explanations as to why the club would be empty when a man comes in. Particularly, clubs tend to be emptier during the middle of the day rather than at night. It’s reasonable not to see anyone at the club at 3:00 p.m. on a weekday, like one commenter described.

“Had a man come in at open last week (like was literally at the door when we turned the music on) asking why we were dead,” said one viewer. “Like…sir it is 3 p.m. on a Tuesday. Girls aren’t even dressed yet. Why are YOU here?”

But for others, a club being empty could be a sign of something more dire. Industry workers consider empty clubs a recession indicator. For club visitors, it could also mean that something dangerous happened at the club to empty it out.

“Just like any other business, if it is empty there’s a reason,” added another commenter.  “Is it because its a weekday mid afternoon? is it because the ballerinas are scammers? … because it got raided recently?”

All of those reasons could run through an average customer’s head, making them more likely to step out if they feel unnerved by the lack of social atmosphere.

Why Does It Disgust Bartenders?

A bartender chimed in on the conversation, adding that she also didn’t care for men’s quips and comments.

“This! As a bartender at a spicy club I literally look at them like why do you care,” said one TikTok user.

But there are a few reasons why an empty space can be unsettling, especially at a “spicy” club. Even if authorities haven’t raided the club and there’s nothing “going on,” it might feel off.

Generally, being in a more empty space is more liminal than being in a crowded one. When a person expects a large and bustling atmosphere, it can be unnerving to step into one that’s completely empty. Most customers at clubs don’t expect them to be in-between spaces, which can ruin the vibe.

“It’s a vibe thing. You can go to a restaurant with great food and service but if 80% of the restaurant is empty it feels weird,” one viewer shared.

Commenters added that most of the time, men who come into clubs and wait around for other men do so because they don’t have money themselves or because they want an audience of other men.

Florida man orders $35 worth of DoorDash. Then he immediately has to throw it away: ‘Lord when you showed the dog I lost it’

A man had to throw away $35 worth of DoorDash food the moment it arrived at his doorstep. The reason why? There was quite a bit of dog hair attached to his delivery.

TikTok content creator Hunter (@hunterp1017) noticed that a photo of his delivery was sitting on a giant bag of dog food. When “Pocahontas” came to deliver his order, he realized that it was covered in dog hair, which made the delivery feel unsanitary. But what made it worse was how the man delivered his food. “Pocahontas” let his dog, which was sitting in the backseat of the vehicle, bite and tear at Hunter’s dinner.

Later, Hunter went to check the contents of his bags, noticing obvious quality issues that would make his food unsafe to eat. Posting to his platform, Hunter said that he “won’t be ordering from DoorDash again” after the experience. His video now has 570,000 viewers, with others adding their thoughts or even defending DoorDash by saying drivers aren’t “all bad apples.”

Hunter’s DoorDash Experience

When Hunter decided to order from DoorDash, he did so because he wasn’t feeling well. He had an incredibly rough day at work and was hoping for a pick-me-up to lighten his day.

The content creator noted that he doesn’t usually order DoorDash because it’s “so expensive.” DoorDash deliveries typically come with an additional service fee and food delivery fee, alongside other costs depending on the order location and the size of the order. Then, there’s adding a tip, which is usually somewhere between 15% and 20% of the base order.

When Hunter got an alert that his food was picked up, he looked at a photo supplied by the Dasher. There, he saw a concerning amount of dog hair in the car where his drink and food were.

Hunter sat at his kitchen window waiting for the order. And that’s when a Dasher named “Pocahontas” arrived. “Pocahontas steps out,” Hunter said. “Pocahontas is a six-foot-two, six-foot-three Black dude, and he’s reaching in to get my food. … He gets out of the car; he has my food bag. As he’s pulling the bag out, the dog is literally sticking his nose in my food bag and biting at the bag, and he’s, like, trying to get, like, get the bag away from the dog.”

Hunter Examines His DoorDash Order

Hunter went outside to meet the man, already knowing he didn’t want to eat the food.

“So, I walk out to the car. I get my mango drink. Look at this [expletive] when I get inside. As you can see right here, this was in the cup,” Hunter said, while directly pointing toward a dog hair floating in his beverage. “Now, the restaurant, for some reason, didn’t put a seal over the top of the cup, and I did say something to them about it, too. But that’s dog hair sitting on top.”

Later, Hunter urged other DoorDash drivers to have some “common courtesy” when delivering orders.

“Everybody has their own opinion, but if you’re gonna deliver people’s food and do stuff like that, have some common courtesy, and understand that not everybody wants dog hair all on their stuff,” he added.

DoorDash Horror Stories From Commenters

Viewers had their own horrifying encounters to share in the video’s comments section, ranging from drinks being consumed and refilled before making it to a person’s doorstep to drivers eating half of the order before it arrives.

“I work in a kitchen,” one commenter shared. “I wish we could tell the stories we have of DoorDash drivers and get people to stop ordering. We’ve seen people use their children to pick up the food, drink drinks and refill them, straight up tell us their going to eat the food in the car, leave half the order behind because they can’t follow the sign that says to check in with staff before taking order (we keep the hot food in a warmer and the cold separate so it doesn’t get hot), grab the complete wrong order, come in smelling so bad I can’t imagine the condition of their car. We seal our bags and have switched to only bottles for drinks to avoid the drinking and refilling situation, but I certainly won’t be ordering through DoorDash.”

Another commenter shared that they would never purchase meals from DoorDash, considering how uncleanly people can be.

“If I can’t go buy something I won’t eat,” they stated. “I’m not spending $25… for a McDonald’s meal or letting someone else other than the person making my food handle it. Some people are just not clean.”

Should Hunter Report the Situation to DoorDash?

Viewers urged Hunter not to see it as an issue with all DoorDash drivers. Instead, they recommended seeing it as an issue with just one person.

“Report it all to DoorDash,” added one viewer. “I’ve done this for years. I don’t mess with food, I’m clean and presentable, my car is always clean and smelling clean and I don’t have pets…I can’t do the hair all over the place.”

But, in the past, other customers have had issues reporting complaints to DoorDash. Customer support does not always support refunds or redeliveries, especially if the customer technically received their order.

DoorDash customer support has previously rejected claims of customers receiving the wrong items, such as a customer ordering Arby’s and getting cough syrup at their doorstep. That leads some platform users to rely on chargebacks.

Hunter says he intended to report the order because he wanted his money back. It is unclear whether he got it.

Cardi B Responds To Super Bowl Rumors, Just Not How Fans Expected

Well..we called it…kinda! Remember this:

RUMORS: Cardi B Super Bowl Cameo Rumors With Bad Bunny Heat Up

There was a rumor floating around that Cardi B was going to be at the Super Bowl. Guess what? She was. Just not in the way many people imagined.

A lot of fans assumed Cardi would be performing on the main Super Bowl stage with Bad Bunny. That did not happen. The halftime spotlight ultimately went elsewhere, but if you were paying close attention, you could spot Cardi B in the cut. Blink and you missed it. She appeared briefly in the background during the performance, not as a featured artist and not on the mic.

View this post on Instagram

That makes sense. Cardi B is clearly positioning herself for a moment that belongs entirely to her. No guest appearances. No shared stages. When she does it, it will be her show, on her terms.

Still, her presence mattered. Cardi came out to support her Puerto Rican brother, and that solidarity did not go unnoticed. The performance itself was electric. Despite predictable backlash from the usual corners of the internet, the overwhelming response from real viewers was positive. Even people who do not consider themselves Bad Bunny fans admitted the show was strong.

And guess what…a lot of other Latinos were there too. The link is below in the news.

Let’s be honest. A lot of the hate came from the same places it always does. Some folks are not critiquing music. They are reacting from a place of resentment. Most people I spoke to said the performance delivered, period.

Meanwhile, the conservative counter-programming did not go as planned. Turning Point USA, along with Kid Rock, attempted to stage an alternative halftime experience. It landed with a thud. While there were claims of strong online viewership, multiple attempts to boost visibility fell apart.

One of the biggest failures happened on X, formerly known as Twitter. Efforts to stream performances ran into clearance issues and were abruptly halted. At the same time, as Bad Bunny continued trending at a higher level, searches and clips tied to his performance were suddenly hard to find. Whether intentional or not, the optics were bad.

There is more to unpack here, but the takeaway is simple. Culture cannot be counter-programmed this way. Authentic moments rise. Manufactured outrage does not.

Legacy Context

Super Bowl halftime shows have always reflected cultural power shifts. From Michael Jackson redefining spectacle in the 1990s to Hip-Hop’s long fight for legitimacy on that stage, these moments signal who is driving popular culture. For years, Latin music and Hip-Hop were treated as side attractions rather than centerpieces. The visibility of artists like Bad Bunny, and the quiet but intentional presence of Cardi B, reflects a broader reality. The culture no longer asks for permission. It shows up, whether the gatekeepers are comfortable or not.

What did you think about the performances and the backlash? Drop your thoughts in the comments.

Coco Jones & Karl Kani Evoke Whitney Houston’s Super Bowl Legacy Through Black Excellence

Coco Jones honored Whitney Houston and Black fashion history by wearing a Karl Kani designed ensemble while performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” at Super Bowl LX. It all went down at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara California in an effort to connect legacy style with modern spectacle.

Before the lights and cameras of the NFL’s biggest stage ever captured Jones, another Super Bowl moment had already been etched into cultural memory. In 1991 Whitney Houston delivered a now legendary rendition of the national anthem at Super Bowl XXV in Tampa Florida as the New York Giants edged the Buffalo Bills 20-19. Houston’s white tracksuit became as iconic as her voice that day, symbolizing poise pride and athletic grace at a moment when the world was watching.

That image served as the foundation for Jones’ performance look more than three decades later. Designed by fashion icon Karl Kani, the outfit reworked Houston’s original silhouette into a high fashion statement without losing its athletic essence.

The familiar tracksuit was transformed into a mini bubble skirt with a sweeping train paired with a cropped jacket trimmed with red, black and green. The result blended classic streetwear and Black excellence into a massive statement.

“It kept that athletic feeling but elevated it into something elegant and dramatic,” Kani told Essence when describing the approach behind the look.

For Kani the Super Bowl moment carried weight far beyond fashion.

Founded in 1989 his brand helped define modern streetwear through oversized silhouettes bold logos and denim that resonated across Hip-Hop culture. His designs were worn by Aaliyah, Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z, especially in the 1990s. Kani later became the first Black designer to secure a full page advertisement in The New York Times helping legitimize the genre and open doors for future designers.

“I’m overwhelmed,” Kani said. “They could have gone to any designer in the world—Gucci, Fendi, Prada. But they came to Karl Kani. To pay homage to streetwear and to a brand that meant everything to me that’s something special.”

Reflecting on the journey Kani pointed to perseverance as the defining factor.

“It speaks to the resilience it took for us to be here 35 years later with a brand that started on the streets of Brooklyn,” he said. He added that streetwear and Hip-Hop were once labeled trends destined to fade. “But we’re still here.”

The Super Bowl performance was a visual reminder that Black culture continues to shape the world’s biggest stages on its own terms.

Bobby Shmurda Video Sparks Rumors After Fans Notice Strange White Substance

Bobby Shmurda has found himself back in the rumor mill. A self posted video has people talking about what is going on. The clip spread fast, not because of a new song or announcement, but because we noticed a white substance on his face after a playful moment with two women. The guessing game officially begins.

View this post on Instagram

Now let’s slow this down.

Bobby has always been animated online. Antics…jokes…chaos..these things are is thing. In the video, he asks one of the women for a kiss on the cheek. She obliges, he turns his head, and suddenly there is white residue visible on his face and forehead. Some say it looks like baby powder. Others suggest makeup transfer (wink, wink), especially considering the amount of cosmetics involved. Still, the streets have offered a third option, and that’s the one everyone says…in hushed tones.

To complicate matters, the visuals include two white women, which predictably triggered side commentary from the Hotep peanut gallery. Somewhere, you can almost hear Dr. Umar Johnson clearing his throat. But that conversation feels like a side quest. The real issue is perception, and perception can be ruthless when it meets a looping video and no context.

What makes this moment sting a little more is the larger question over Bobby’s career. Before prison, he was lightning in a bottle. He was hitmaker with crazy energy and helped push Brooklyn drill into the mainstream. After his release from the bing, the momentum never really returned. Songs came and went and the buzz faded. We just wondered…what happened?

None of us know what Bobby is actually dealing with. A few seconds of video should not be treated like a diagnosis. But optics matter. What is that white stuff? We already feel unsure about the direction. Maybe this is nothing. Maybe it is exactly what it looks like. Or maybe Bobby is just being Bobby and letting the internet do what it does best. Talk.

Either way, the comments are loud, the rumors are moving, and once again, Bobby Shmurda is trending for everything except the music.

Bad Bunny Super Bowl Show Silences MAGA Nutcases With Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin & Karol G

Bad Bunny delivered a historic Super Bowl halftime performance Sunday night (February 8)at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.

The Puerto Rican superstar became the first Latino artist to headline the big game solo.

The 31-year-old reggaeton king took the stage between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. His 13-minute set celebrated Latin culture on America’s biggest stage.

Bad Bunny performed in a field of grass and on top of “La casita,” a traditional house in Puerto Rico. He opened with “T##í Me Preguntó,” before launching into “Yo Perreo Sola.” The crowd erupted as dancers in khaki skirts filled the field.

He then transitioned into a medley of his biggest hits, including “EoO,” “VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR,” “MONACO,” “BAILE,” “INoLVIDABLE NUEVAYoL,” “El Apagón,” “CAFÉ CON RON,” and “DtMF.”

Cardi B and Karol G made brief appearances in a swarm of dancers, but Lady Gaga grabbed the spotlight with her part on “Die With a Smile,” and Ricky Martin was a special guest for “LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii.”

Others who appeared in the swarm of dancers include Jessica Alba, Young Miko, Pedro Pascal and Alix Earle.

The show faced political controversy leading up to tonight.

Conservative group Turning Point USA organized a competing “All-American Halftime Show” featuring Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.

The low-energy alternative programming aired on YouTube, Rumble and partner networks.

Kid Rock framed his show as “David and Goliath” against the NFL. He said his group would “play great songs for folks who love America.” The TPUSA event promoted “faith, family and freedom” as an alternative to Bad Bunny’s performance.

Despite the organized boycott, millions of conservative viewers still watched the Super Bowl. Many took to social media expressing frustration with Bad Bunny’s Spanish-language performance.

Twitter exploded with complaints from MAGA supporters who felt alienated by the show.

But Bad Bunny’s performance proved his critics wrong. The artist brought energy and spectacle that transcended language barriers.

The halftime show featured Bad Bunny honoring his Caribbean heritage in his second Super Bowl appearance. He previously joined Shakira and Jennifer Lopez as a guest performer in 2020.

Tonight’s show represented a cultural milestone for Latino representation in American sports. And the majority of viewers embraced Bad Bunny’s historic performance tonight. Social media is filled with praise for his energy and cultural celebration.

Famous Drill Rapper Converts To Islam, Changes Name To Akhil

Central Cee just dropped some major personal news during a casual livestream moment. The UK drill star told viewers he converted to Islam and changed his first name from Oakley to Akhil.

The 27-year-old rapper made the announcement while chatting on PlaqueBoyMax‘s stream. Someone asked about his real name and Central Cee casually said he took his shahada and became Muslim.

“I just changed my name and took my shahada, I am a muslim now,” he told the stream. The shahada is Islam’s declaration of faith that formally brings someone into the religion.

Central Cee explained his new first name is Akhil, which means “intelligent” or “wise” in Arabic. He kept it simple and didn’t go deep into his reasons or timeline for converting.

Friends on the stream congratulated him quietly. The whole moment felt natural and unforced. Central Cee treated it like any other life update, not some big announcement.

Fans had been wondering about his faith since 2023. He posted Arabic text on Instagram that translates to “I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil.”

People started asking questions, but he never confirmed anything until now. His music already hinted at this spiritual shift. On his 2025 track “Booga,” Central Cee raps about repentance and Islamic practices.

“Lord, forgive us as I’m a sinner, repent and pray, you accept our sunnah,” he said on the song.

The West London rapper grew up in Shepherd’s Bush with his English mother and Guyanese-Chinese father. His parents split when he was seven and he lived with his mom and two younger brothers.

The Muslim community welcomed Central Cee’s announcement online. Many praised how low-key he kept the news instead of making it a publicity moment.

Eve Reveals Why She’s “Steering” Son Away From Hip-Hop Career

Eve just dropped some real talk about her four-year-old son’s future. The Hip-Hop legend doesn’t want Wilde Wolf Cooper following her rap footsteps.

“I’m trying to keep him away from rapperdom,” Eve told Jennifer Hudson during a recent interview. “I mean I don’t mind. I had a good life. But I would rather…”

The Ruff Ryders icon has different dreams for her little boy. She wants him behind the wheel instead of behind the mic.

“I would love him to be a race car driver,” Eve explained. “I mean probably more for me. But he already loves Lewis Hamilton. Like he already knows who he is. He loves cars like his daddy.”

That daddy connection runs deep. Eve’s husband, Maximillion Cooper, built his empire around fast cars and racing culture. Cooper founded Gumball 3000, the legendary motor rally that combines luxury cars with celebrity culture.

The British entrepreneur started Gumball 3000 in 1999 as a 3,000-mile international road rally. Cooper met Eve during one of these rallies in 2010, where she performed at the launch party.

They married in 2014 at the end of that year’s rally.

“He is a car boy,” Eve said about Wilde Wolf. “It’s like it’s in his blood.”

Eve’s protective stance makes sense. She’s seen Hip-Hop’s challenges firsthand during her 25-year career. The Philly native climbed from underground battles to Grammy wins, but she knows the industry’s dark sides too.

Her recent Grammy recognition for “You Got Me” brought back memories of those early struggles. The Recording Academy honored her verse on The Roots’ classic track more than 25 years after its release.

“I’ve been dealing with a lot of emotions,” Eve admitted about the long-overdue recognition. “I feel like I might have to go back into therapy to deal with these emotions.”

Those emotions connect to years of industry battles and personal growth. Eve’s new memoir, Who’s That Girl? reveals the vulnerable side behind her tough exterior.

The book explores her journey from the streets of Philly to international stardom. It also shows how motherhood changed her perspective on success and legacy.

Meanwhile, Eve’s preparing her own celebration. March marks the 25th anniversary of her Scorpion album, and she’s planning something special.

“I’m actually celebrating the 25th anniversary of Scorpion coming up,” she revealed. “So we are looking at pulling some people in and doing and reimagining some stuff.”

Kid Rock Song He Should Perform At MAGA Halftime Show

Putting this out here just in case you don’t want to read:

“Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage. See, some say that’s statutory. But I say it’s mandatory.” – Kid Rock

Kid Rock finds himself at the center of an uncomfortable situation on Super Bowl Sunday. A 2001 lyric is back, just as Turning Point USA gears up for the “All American Halftime Show.” This is considered conservative counterprogramming to Bad Bunny’s NFL performance. Kid Rock is a POS and this song is helping more people realize that.

“Cool, Daddy Cool,” is the name of the song. Here it is, right around the 2:20 mark:

Somehow – in the weirdest way – this song made its way into the animated family movie Osmosis Jones. “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage. See, some say that’s statutory. But I say it’s mandatory,” the rocker raps. Part of the verse was delivered by Joe C, Rock’s longtime hype man. He passed away but here’s a stray: F you too. Faith, family, and freedom? Uh….

The timing could not be worse for Turning Point USA, which has positioned its Super Bowl stream as a values driven alternative to the NFL halftime show. We all know that is a bunch of crap as we have the Epstein Files in the background. Kid Rock boldly professes a sexual longing for underage girls. Nice and, frankly, on brand. By the way, at a 2001 Saturday Night Live appearance Rock made comments about the Olsen twins – just 14 years old at the time. “Why is every guy in America waiting on these chicks to turn 18?” he said at the time. “If there’s grass on the field, play ball.” WTF?

Rock has not directly addressed either controversy. Of course he has not addressed it. He’s a coward and a creep.

Bad Bunny’s selection as the NFL halftime headliner has angered some MAGA supporters due to his outspoken immigration views and use of Spanish. Why? They were here before you people. Last weekend at the Grammys, BB made history as the first Spanish language artist to win album of the year. At the event, he said “ICE out! We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans.”

That. FKN. Part.

As Super Bowl LX kicks off in Santa Clara on Sunday, Kid Rock needs to have several seats in a dumpster where he belongs.

Michael Eric Dyson Rips “America’s Chief Racist” Donald Trump

Michael Eric Dyson tore into President Trump’s racist social media post that depicted Barack and Michelle Obama as apes.

The Vanderbilt University professor and Hip-Hop scholar called Trump’s actions calculated and disgusting. Dyson spoke to WGN News after Trump shared an AI-generated video showing the former first couple as primates.

Trump posted the racist clip Thursday night on Truth Social. The video was part of a longer conspiracy theory rant about elections. But the Obama imagery drew immediate backlash from both Democrats and Republicans.

“The dehumanizing of Black people and comparing them to apes is to suggest that they are animals, that they are creatures,” Dyson said. “The dehumanizing of black people and comparing them to apes is to suggest that they are animals, that they are creatures. People have remarked in the past that Michelle Obama didn’t belong in Vogue magazine; she belonged in National Geographic.

“This is the attempt to articulate and re-articulate a vicious belief that black people are not worthy of human consideration, that they are fundamentally animals, that they are closer and more akin to a state of nature where they must be somehow civilized and brought from their African home and brought here to America under the penalty of white supremacy to be made into whole human beings,” Dyson continued.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt first defended the post. She told reporters to “stop the fake outrage.” But hours later, she blamed a staffer and said the post was removed.

Donald Trump refused to apologize when reporters asked him about it Friday night. He said he didn’t make a mistake.

The timing of Trump’s post made it even worse. February is Black History Month, making the racist imagery particularly offensive.

“Donald Trump is shameless and he didn’t even apologize. He took it down and blamed it on a staffer as opposed to saying this is horrendous. He can’t do that because fundamentally, he is America’s Chief Racist,” Dyson snapped.

Cardi B Backs Bad Bunny & Anti-ICE Stance In Super Bowl Show

Celebrities lined up to defend Bad Bunny at Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fanatics Super Bowl party. The Puerto Rican superstar faces his biggest stage Sunday (February 8) when he headlines the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.

Cardi B didn’t hold back her feelings about the historic performance. The Bronx rapper made her stance crystal clear during the exclusive gathering.

“I’m actually very proud, you know what I’m saying? I’m proud of everything that he’s been standing up for against ICE and everything,” Cardi B said. “And it’s just like, I feel like everything is like aligned and how Hispanic, Latinos, whatever you want to call everybody, you know, everybody got different terms. It’s like we standing, they standing, we standing, we all standing strong.”

Jamie Foxx took direct aim at critics trying to divide the country. His message carried weight as tensions continued building around the performance.

“They goofing you right now. They goofing you, telling you that America is just for certain people. No, man. It’s all of us. That’s what makes us dope,” Jamie Foxx said. “Don’t let the goofballs win cuz they goofy.”

Jamie Foxx added his voice to the growing support network. The Oscar winner praised Bad Bunny’s artistry and global appeal during the party interviews.

“I want to see Bad Bunny do his thing. You know, I don’t see anything wrong with it. I mean, he’s a very popular artist, very world-renowned and a true artist,” E-40 stated. “I feel like, especially with what’s going on with America right now.”

The support comes as Bad Bunny faces mounting political pressure. His Grammy Awards speech calling out ICE sparked nationwide controversy. Conservative groups launched petition drives demanding his removal from the halftime show.

President Trump announced he won’t attend the Super Bowl, citing disagreement with the halftime show choice. Conservative advocacy groups organized alternative programming to compete with the performance.

Still, Bad Bunny will make history Sunday as the first solo Latino headliner in Super Bowl halftime show history. His performance at Levi’s Stadium represents a cultural milestone for Hispanic and Latino communities nationwide.

Sunday’s performance will determine whether Bad Bunny’s message of unity resonates with the massive Super Bowl audience or deepens existing cultural divisions.

Joy Reid Labels Nicki Minaj A MAGA “House Pet” On Don Lemon Show

Joy Reid launched her most vicious attack yet on Nicki Minaj, calling the rapper a Republican “house pet” during an appearance on The Don Lemon Show.

The former MSNBC host didn’t mince words when discussing Minaj’s recent embrace of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.

“There’s a reason that the other side is giddy about having Nicki Minaj, a rapper they despise, a rapper they don’t respect,” Joy Reid said during the segment.

Reid then delivered her most inflammatory comment, comparing Nicki Minaj to an animal.

“The reason they want her on a leash as their house pet cuddled at Donald Trump’s feet, the reason she is the new house pet is because they need, N-E-E-E-D Black people to give them ‘cultural cool,'” she continued.

The attack comes just days after Trump posted and deleted a racist video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. Trump refused to apologize for the February 6 post, claiming a staffer made the error.

The feud between Joy Reid and Nicki Minaj dates back to September 2021. Reid criticized Minaj on The ReidOut after the rapper shared vaccine hesitancy on social media.

Nicki Minaj fired back then, calling Reid “thirsty to down another black woman” and accusing her of being an “uncle tomiana doing the work” for white men.

Now Reid has escalated the conflict with even more personal attacks.

“She’ll never be Rihanna. She’ll never have a brand like Rihanna. She’ll never be Beyoncé,” Reid said on Lemon’s show.

Reid called the 42-year-old rapper a “Black female rapper who clearly don’t care that much about Black people or immigrants, even though she was an undocumented immigrant.”

Nicki Minaj’s political transformation has been dramatic. In 2020, she said she wouldn’t “jump on the Trump bandwagon” after criticizing his immigration policies.

But by 2025, Nicki Minaj became one of Trump’s most vocal celebrity supporters. She called herself Trump’s “number one fan” at a Treasury Department summit in January.

EXCLUSIVE: Drake Pushes To Shut Down Public Battle Over Stake Gambling

Drake, Adin Ross and gambling platform Stake are demanding that a New Mexico court toss out a class-action lawsuit accusing them of promoting an illegal online casino.

Drake and Aidn Ross say users didn’t read the fine print and that the dispute belongs in private arbitration, not a public courtroom.

The legal battle stems from two New Mexico residents, Nathaniel Torres and Rory Michie, who claim they were misled into gambling real money on Stake.us, a so-called “social casino” they say mimics the real gambling site Stake.com.

Online gambling is banned in New Mexico and the plaintiffs allege the site used celebrity endorsements to mask its true nature.

According to their complaint, Stake.us lured users with free-to-play marketing while using two types of in-game coins to simulate real-money gambling.

They argue that Drake and Ross, as high-profile promoters, glamorized risky betting behavior and targeted vulnerable users, including people with gambling issues and young viewers of Ross’s livestreams.

Lawyers representing Drake and Ross say that before placing any bets, Torres and Michie had to agree to the site’s Terms and Conditions. That agreement, which they accepted again in August 2025 after an update, included a clause requiring “any and all” disputes to be resolved through individual arbitration.

It also waived their right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.

The fine print didn’t just apply to conflicts with the company itself. It also extended to disputes with Stake’s “contractors, agents, licensors, subcontractors, or suppliers.”

Drake and Ross, both paid endorsers of the platform, argue that they fall under that umbrella and are therefore shielded from court litigation.

For now, the core issue isn’t whether Stake.us is legal; it’s whether this dispute should be handled in court or behind closed doors. Drake, Ross, and Stake want the case paused while an arbitrator determines not only the merits of the claims but also whether Drake and Ross should even be part of the case.

J. Cole Surprise Campus Visit Draws Thousands At NC A&T

J. Cole pulled up to North Carolina A&T on Friday night with thousands of students waiting. The Grammy winner drove to Greensboro to sell copies of The Fall-Off at the same HBCU where his career started.

Cole announced the surprise visit on Twitter earlier that evening. He wrote about the full-circle moment he was about to experience.

“NC A&T. First time I ever sold a physical version of my own full project was on your campus during Homecoming,” Cole tweeted. “We sold The Come Up for $1 out the trunk of this car. I’m bout to drive to Greensboro right now to see if I can sell a couple copies of The Fall-Off tonight. Full circle !!!”

The Fayetteville rapper released The Fall-Off just one day before his campus visit. He calls this his final album as he considers retirement from music.

Students surrounded Cole’s car when he arrived on campus. Video from WFMY News 2 showed the massive crowd that gathered for the unexpected appearance.

J. Cole took pictures with students and sold physical copies of his new album. The moment recreated his early days when he would visit NC A&T’s campus to sell The Come Up mixtape for just $1.

“As a teenager I had copies of the Fayettenam Bommuh’s album that Nervous gave me to sell. I used to go up to gas stations, trying to sell the album to strangers: “Yo, you like Hip-Hop??” Was the beginning of the sales pitch. When I was working on this album, I had the desire to go feel that feeling again, and that’s what I’m about to do. Trunk Sale Tour 26!! I don’t know where we bout to drive to, but catch me outside! Cop a CD from me or just show love. I truly appreciate all the love and the reaction to the music,” J. Cole said.

North Carolina A&T holds special meaning for the rapper. He references the HBCU in his music and has always shown love to the school throughout his career.

The surprise visit became part of Cole’s “Trunk Sale Tour” for The Fall-Off. He’s been stopping at meaningful North Carolina locations that played important roles in his early career.

Battle Rapper Geechi Gotti Jailed Without Bail In Butler County, Ohio

Geechi Gotti was arrested in Butler County, Ohio, on February 5 and is facing four drug possession charges and one failure to comply charge.

Cops booked Marcus Fantroy, Geechi’s real name, on multiple possession of drugs charges. The charges involve schedule one and two substances.

Geechi Gotti also received a failure-to-comply charge for ignoring a police officer’s signal.

Schedule I or II drugs typically include cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, meth, LSD and certain prescription opioids and stimulants.

In Ohio, these charges could result in a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

The arrest occurred far from Geechi’s home base in Compton, California. Butler County sits in southwestern Ohio. Battle rap fans expressed shock at seeing the West Coast legend locked up in the Midwest.

Geechi built his reputation as one of battle rap’s most consistent performers. Members of the battle rap community flooded his social media with prayers and messages of support.

No court date has been announced for Geechi’s charges.

Kid Rock’s MAGA Festival Crumbles As Artists Flee Show

Kid Rock‘s Rock the Country festival just lost its South Carolina stop after a wave of artists bailed on the MAGA-friendly event.

The Anderson County show scheduled for July 25 and 26 got axed after too many performers dropped out. County administrator Rusty Burns confirmed the cancellation to Fox Carolina.

“Anderson County has been proud to host Rock the Country for the past two years,” Burns said. “The event was a huge success drawing tens of thousands of visitors, making a multi-million-dollar economic impact on the Upstate.”

The festival bills itself as celebrating 250 years of American freedom. Critics call it a MAGA fest because of Kid Rock and his loud Trump support.

Ludacris was the first big name to jump ship. His team told AllHipHop he was never supposed to perform there. Shinedown delivered the final blow with a public statement.

“Shinedown is everyone’s band,” they said. “We feel that we have been given a platform to bring all people together through the power of music and song.”

The rock band added, “Our band’s purpose is to unite, not divide. With that in mind, we have made the decision that we will not be playing the Rock The Country Festival.”

Shinedown said they “do not want to participate in something we believe will create further division.”

Creed, Morgan Wade and Carter Faith also quietly dropped off the bill without public statements. The original Anderson lineup featured Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Gretchen Wilson, Parmalee, Chase Matthew, Lakeview and Fox N’ Vead alongside the departed acts.

The New York Times called Rock the Country “a vision of the MAGA movement in pure party mode” when covering the 2024 version. They said it felt like Trump rallies without Trump showing up.

Last year, Trump himself introduced Kid Rock’s set via video message. “Fight, fight, fight, win, win, win, for the American people,” Trump said.

Country artist Gavin Adcock went on a Biden rant at the 2024 festival. “F### you Joe Biden, you c########## m###########,” he shouted onstage.

The 2026 tour still has seven other stops planned across eight states from May through September. Kid Rock, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Riley Green, Hank Williams Jr., Ella Langley and Lynyrd Skynyrd remain on the lineup.

Nelly stayed on the tour despite the controversy. He performed at Trump’s 2025 inauguration and defended it by citing his military family background.

“I was born in a military base in Austin. My father served, my grandfather served, my uncle served, my auntie served,” Nelly said. “If these people can give their life for the office, Nelly can perform for it.”

Rock the Country launches its 2026 run May 1-2 in Belleville, Texas.
