‘It’s Just Our Standard Practice Because We’ve Been Burned’: Washington Man Denied Pizza Over the Phone Because He Wouldn’t Comply With the Store Policy. Then He Digs Up Dirt on a Worker

A Washington pizza company was surprised at the lengths customers would go to when they couldn’t place their order. That’s what Zac from Zac’s Zzas Pizza (@zacs.zzas), a pizza shop in the Yakima Valley, mentioned in a TikTok post with over 232,000 views.

Zac says the issue started with a simple phone call and then spiraled out of control. He states that on Feb. 18, a customer tried to place an order over the phone without paying for it. So, he refused to take the order. Then, he says the couple who tried to order the pizza came into the store asking where their order was and why they couldn’t place it over the phone, claiming Zac hung up on them. Zac says he let them know it had never been placed, as he had just been on the phone with them when they hung up on the other end without giving their card information.

Eventually, the couple made the decision to go on Facebook to air out their issues with Zac’s pizza shop, Zac says. He says they badmouthed the company at first; then, they found out about an employee’s legal issues and threatened to expose them.

“I don’t understand it,” Zac says. “This is petty at the highest level. OK, you’re trying to hold my feet to the fire for things that I have … nothing I could do about it.”

Zac Takes a Call That Leads Down a Rabbit Hole of Complaints

Zac says that on Wednesday, Feb. 18, he took a call that would lead to a series of threats against his business and employee.

“[A] gentleman called [and] wanted to place an order,” Zac says. “He had never placed an order with us before under that phone number, and our standard practice, because we’ve had problems with people not showing up to pick up their food, is that we take payment with first-time customers with that phone number.”

Because of that standard practice, Zac says he let the man know that he’d need his card information. He says the man told him that the policy was “weird” and that he’d never encountered a restaurant with it. Zac says the man ignored his request and continued ordering food.

He adds that he quickly let the man know that he couldn’t place an order over the phone without giving any card information, which made the man irate. Zac says he told him that he wasn’t going to change the policy. Instead, if he wanted, the customer could order the food in person, pay, and then wait for it.

Zac says he thought that was the end of the conversation—until he saw two cars pull into the parking lot.

The Couple Arrives at Zac’s Zzas Pizza Expecting Their Order

Zac says he noticed that a couple—a woman and the gentleman he presumably spoke to on the phone earlier in the day—had pulled into the restaurant’s parking lot. According to Zac, the woman told him that he “hung up on them and wouldn’t take their order,” something that he denied immediately.

“This is all on video at the restaurant as well,” Zac says. “Everyone, once you pull in the parking lot, you’re on video. We’ve got cameras inside. We’ve got signs all around the parking lot stating that you are on video, so there’s no surprises, right?”

Zac says he eventually told the woman that he wasn’t the one who hung up, her partner was. He says she went to speak to the man, and he continued saying that Zac “hung up” on him. Zac says he once again emphasized that he didn’t, so they stormed out of the store—but not before saying they’d review his business negatively online.

Why Is the Couple Threatening To ‘Expose’ Zac on Facebook?

Zac says the couple tried to message him on Facebook regarding their experience with the restaurant. He says they posted a negative review and sent multiple “threatening” messages to the pizza parlor.

Then, according to Zac, they seemingly found alleged information that is significantly more damning. Zac says they messaged him, letting him know that they knew information about one of his employees.

Zac describes the messages, saying, “They sent some screenshots of … I’ve got an employee that is going through some personal stuff in the … court system, so evidently they’re going to hang me out to dry because I have an employee that’s going through some things.”

Zac says he hasn’t fired the employee because he believes that people are innocent until proven guilty.

“I’m not gonna air out his laundry, but he’s claiming that he’s innocent,” Zac adds. “We’re gonna let the court figure that out ’cause we live in America, and that’s what the court system is for.”

He also states, “He is charged, not convicted. So, there’s two totally different things, and if he is convicted, he will no longer work for us. … That’s cut and dry.”

Zac adds that the employee was going to court the next day.

He defends the employee in his post, saying, “In the end, it does affect me, and I know that we have lost business because he’s there.”

But Zac states that he hadn’t seen the employee behave in any way that fit the crimes he was charged with. For that reason, he didn’t want to move forward with termination.

What Were the Crimes?

It’s unclear what the man was charged with based on Zac’s post, as he did not identify the employee. But commenter sleuths think they were able to piece together some information about the case.

Commenters Add Their Thoughts

Commenters are conflicted on whether to support Zac’s small business.

On Facebook, where Zac reposted the TikTok, a woman added, “I’m all down for the payment part. But avoiding the fact you have an accused child predator there… yeah I’d stop pretending he’s just going to court for something light. I’m still innocent until proven guilty… but I’m looking at the case… and boss… not a good look.”

Courtroom cooperation and federal testimony are looking this man in the eyes. These are rumors, but If even a fraction of what’s being reported is even halfway accurate, this is a legal nightmare.

Word on the curb is that two of his OTF affiliates, identified as Dede and Boogie, were seen in court allegedly cooperating with federal authorities. According to rumors and reports, they supposedly testified that Durk directed them to target Quando Rondo. They seek to exchange this info and avoid potential life sentences. The time will reportedly be reduced to between 10 and 20 years even if convicted. Wow.

Let that marinate.

Some that saw the optics claim the pair celebrated in the courtroom. Now, if true, that is not good for Durk and it also is not considered standing tall. The streets are really dead, but let me write enough for Google.

This stuff has not been independently verified here. Durk has branded OTF as a tight-knit unit built on loyalty and brotherhood. The Chicago rapper’s rise from drill pioneer to mainstream icon came with a code. Or so we thought. The Feds have a way of testing even the strongest hood dudes. By the way, this trial does not even come until August 2026.

Durk’s legal team has a serious battle ahead.

Kid Cudi Offered Bail Money For Shia LaBeouf After Mardi Gras Arrest Fiasco

Kid Cudi stepped up to help Shia LaBeouf after the actor’s arrest during Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans this February.

LaBeouf revealed during a Channel 5 interview that both Cudi and Thundercat sent representatives to arrange his bail after he was booked on battery charges.

The Transformers star said he received assistance from multiple people, but wasn’t sure who actually paid for his release from Orleans Parish Prison.

LaBeouf was arrested on February 17 after allegedly punching several patrons outside a French Quarter bar and using homophobic slurs. Police charged him with two counts of simple battery after witnesses reported the altercation during the Fat Tuesday festivities.

The actor spent time in a crowded drunk tank with approximately 50 other people before his unexpected release.

“I know Thundercat tried to get it going and Cudi did the same thing,” LaBeouf explained during the interview.

He described how assistants showed up at the jail trying to secure his freedom, but he didn’t recognize their names when guards asked about them.

The bailiff eventually told the representatives to leave and LaBeouf said he “just left on his own” without knowing who covered the costs.

LaBeouf and Cudi have worked together professionally before, when the actor directed a music video for Cudi’s track “Marijuana.”

Cudi’s willingness to help may stem from his own recovery journey and understanding of addiction struggles.

The Cleveland rapper has been open about his battles with cocaine and alcohol abuse that led him to rehab in 2016.

Cudi spent months in treatment after what he called his “rock bottom moment” and has since become an advocate for mental health awareness and sobriety support.

The Man on the Moon artist previously maintained six years of sobriety before relapsing in 2015.

His experience with addiction recovery and the program may have motivated his desire to help LaBeouf during a difficult time.

Cudi has spoken about the importance of support systems during recovery and the value of helping others struggling with similar issues.

The actor was later arrested again on February 28 on an additional battery charge and had his bond set at $100,000 with mandatory substance abuse treatment.

LaBeouf acknowledged his behavior was wrong during the Channel 5 interview and took full responsibility for the incidents. He described feeling “contrition” and said he would “deal with” the consequences of his actions.

LaBeouf revealed he had been sober for nine months before relapsing with kava consumption that eventually led back to alcohol use.

The actor has struggled with sobriety throughout his career and has been in and out of AA programs since age 18. His pattern of legal troubles often coincides with periods of drinking and substance use.

LaBeouf is scheduled to appear in Orleans Parish Criminal Court on March 15 for his arraignment on all charges.

Michael B. Jordan Breaks Down Thanking Mom At Actor Awards

Michael B. Jordan delivered an emotional tribute to his mother during Sunday’s Actor Awards ceremony after winning Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for Sinners.

The 39-year-old actor broke down while discussing how his mother’s sacrifices made his Hollywood dreams possible.

“Not even close, you know. Not even a little bit,” Jordan told Extra backstage when asked if he could have achieved success without his mother’s support. “There’s been so much in career where mom wasn’t able to be with me in these spaces, you know. So for her to join me on this run it couldn’t happen any other way.”

Jordan’s victory came after beating Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Jesse Plemons and Timothee Chalamet in the competitive leading actor category.

The Sinners star admitted he never expected to win against such established talent.

“I wasn’t expecting this at all. I’m so honored and privileged to be nominated in this category with people and actors and humans that I love and I love their work and I love what they contribute to our craft,” Jordan said during his acceptance speech.

During his emotional speech, Jordan specifically thanked his mother for the financial struggles she endured to support his acting ambitions.

“Mom, thank you for driving me back and forth to New York when we didn’t have money for the Holland Tunnel, or when we were looking for gas money and parking spaces,” he said while fighting back tears.

The actor also praised Sinners director Ryan Coogler for creating the right environment for his performance.

“And I want to thank Ryan Coogler, for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do and be fearless and create a safe space where we could find truth,” Jordan added.

Jordan’s win comes after a controversial moment at the recent BAFTAs ceremony, where Tourette’s campaigner John Davidson involuntarily used a racial slur while Jordan and co-star Delroy Lindo were on stage.

Davidson later apologized for the incident, calling himself “deeply mortified.”

One Dead, Two Wounded in Shooting Near Nipsey Hussle’s Restaurant Opening

A deadly shooting erupted near the grand opening celebration of Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Burger’s new Long Beach location on Sunday afternoon, leaving one person dead and two others wounded.

The violence occurred around 3:34 P.M. near Broadway and Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach, approximately half a block from where hundreds gathered to celebrate Nipsey Hussle’s restaurant chain expansion.

CBS LA reported that multiple people were shot and one person was killed. The gunfire sent crowds running through the streets as emergency responders rushed to the scene.

Long Beach Police Department officers detained two individuals in connection with the shooting while paramedics transported the wounded victims to local hospitals.

Witnesses described hearing multiple gunshots during what was supposed to be a community celebration.

One person told CBS LA, “We heard like 13 shots. It was supposed to be a good thing for people to come out. Some guy trying to do something for the community and jobs, and all that, so something like this happened. It’s terrible.”

The Marathon Burger opening drew significant attention from Hip-Hop community members and Long Beach residents.

Snoop Dogg served as an investor partner at the Pine Avenue location, joining Nipsey Hussle’s brother, Blacc Sam, in expanding the restaurant chain beyond its original Fairfax District roots.

Marathon Burger represents Nipsey Hussle’s entrepreneurial vision continuing through his family after the rapper’s death in 2019.

Blacc Sam launched the restaurant chain to honor his late brother’s legacy while investing in the community through food service. The Long Beach location marks the fourth Marathon Burger restaurant across Los Angeles County.

Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson had posted celebratory content about the restaurant opening just hours before the shooting occurred. The mayor’s social media posts featured ribbon-cutting ceremonies and photo opportunities.

Police investigators worked to determine what led to the deadly violence near the community celebration.

Event organizers emphasized that the shooting was not connected to the Marathon Burger grand opening celebration.

50 Cent Mocks Benzino After Car Accident, Feud Hits a New Low

Ready for more?

Hip-Hop beef has habitual line steppers. Lately it has felt less competitive and more uncomfortable.

Today, 50 Cent posted a photo of Benzino wearing a neck brace after the former Love & Hip Hop personality was reportedly it by a CAR, apparently during an altercation involving Crime Mob Diamond. The image quickly circulated online, with fans reacting predictably. Some laughed. Others questioned why an injury would be treated as entertainment.

Regardless of where anyone stands on Benzino personally, being hit by a car and ending up in a neck brace is not exactly lighthearted material. Fortunately, Benzino survived the incident, but the optics of mocking it did not sit well with many observers. By the way, that happened last week so this post it timed wild late.

In the caption of his post, 50 Cent suggested that God told him to share the image. His digital persona has often been just as aggressive as his music catalog, which should be a good thing.

Benzino did not remain silent. In retaliation, he circulated merchandise featuring 50 Cent’s late mother. It seems like he may be selling it. Historically, mentioning deceased family members has been viewed as crossing a line in Hip-Hop culture. And it still is.

The rivalry between 50 Cent and Benzino dates back years, rooted in industry disputes and personal animosity. Benzino, once down with The Source magazine, had public friction with 50 during the early 2000s, a period when media power and rap collided. Still beefing!

What feels different now is the tone of engagement. Social media algorithms reward outrage, shock value, and viral chaos. The louder and more offensive the moment, the faster it spreads. That reality encourages escalation rather than reflection.

There was a time when Instagram functioned primarily as a visual platform centered on photography, art, and curated life moments. Today, it often operates as a battleground where provocation outperforms positivity. The incentive structure favors whatever keeps users reacting.

The bar keeps dropping.

Sad.

Zendaya & Tom Holland Secretly Married, Stylist Law Roach Says

Zendaya just pulled off the ultimate plot twist and apparently none of us were invited. If Law Roach is to be believed, the Emmy-winning style star quietly married Tom Holland and left the entire internet clutching its pearls on the red carpet.

At the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, Roach, Zendaya’s longtime fashion architect and confidant, dropped what might be the most casually explosive quote of the year. While chatting with Access Hollywood, he declared, “The wedding has already happened,” before teasing the reporter with, “You missed it.” When pressed, he doubled down with a laugh: “It’s very true!”

Now, let’s breathe.

Representatives for both Zendaya and Holland have not confirmed anything publicly. But this isn’t coming out of thin air. The couple has been on a steady, low-key trajectory for years. Engagement speculation ignited at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards when Zendaya stepped out wearing a noticeable diamond on her left ring finger. TMZ confirmed the engagement shortly after, citing sources close to the pair.

The timeline checks out. An insider previously said Holland had been “wanting to propose [to the Challengers actress] for a while now. He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one.” In September 2025, Holland subtly confirmed their engaged status during a panel when he corrected a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his girlfriend. With one word, he clarified: “Fiancée.”

For a couple that met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and spent years insisting they were just friends, they have mastered the art of privacy in a world addicted to oversharing. Zendaya, 29, and Holland, 29, have built a relationship largely outside the spectacle machine.

If Roach is telling the truth, this would be a masterclass in moving in silence.

Just vows, rings and a secret.

And honestly, that might be the most Zendaya move of all.

I can see them married…

Kimora Lee Simmons Becomes Just “Kimora Lee” in Strategic Name Change

Fashion mogul Kimora Lee has legally changed her name to simply “Kimora Lee,” marking a calculated departure from her famous ex-husband’s surname.

The Baby Phat founder made the official switch as part of what sources describe as a “personal reset” for her business empire.

The timing connects directly to her escalating legal war with Russell Simmons over millions of shares of Celsius Energy Drink.

Russell filed a lawsuit alleging Kimora conspired with her estranged husband, Tim Leissner, to fraudulently transfer nearly four million Celsius shares to cover Leissner’s legal expenses.

Russell became an early Celsius investor alongside late basketball legend Kobe Bryant, and his investment generated substantial returns before the alleged theft.

The Hip-Hop pioneer claims he trusted Kimora with his business dealings even after their divorce, maintaining what he called a close family relationship.

Tim Leissner, a disgraced former Goldman Sachs banker, was sentenced to two years in federal prison for his central role in the massive 1MDB Malaysian government fund scandal.

Federal prosecutors proved Leissner helped steal billions from Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund, requiring him to forfeit nearly $44 million to avoid longer jail time.

The couple now faces eviction from their $25 million mansion, which Leissner admitted under oath was purchased entirely with stolen Malaysian funds.

After buying the property, Leissner immediately sold it to a real estate investment group, continuing to live there for a $60,000 monthly rent.

Kimora claims Leissner tricked her into signing the property sale documents, though court records show her signature authorized the transaction.

She also maintains she was paying the mortgage, but legal documents prove she was actually paying rent after the resale.

The rebrand represents Kimora’s attempt to distance herself from both Russell Simmons, who is accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women and Tim Leissner’s criminal conviction.

Leissner recently submitted a pardon request to former President Trump before beginning his prison sentence in February 2026.

Cardi B Claps Back At Critics Over Post-Baby Tour Commitment

Cardi B shut down critics who questioned her commitment to performing after welcoming her fourth child just three months ago.

The 33-year-old rapper launched her “Little Miss Drama Tour” on February 11 and has been selling out venues across the country.

The Bronx native welcomed a baby boy with NFL player Stefon Diggs in November 2025, then hit the road. Critics wondered if she could handle the demanding schedule so soon after giving birth to her fourth child.

“The fact of the matter is, so far every single show of mine has been sold out,” Cardi posted on X. “Packed from top to bottom! They said I wasn’t gonna commit after I gave birth, they said I wasn’t gonna take it seriously, but I take it very seriously.”

The “WAP” artist performs two-hour shows without breaks and treats each concert like a celebration with her audience. She emphasized her dedication to giving attendees their money’s worth during every performance on the tour.

Cardi expanded on her commitment in a social media video, addressing negative comments during presale periods.

“Every show has been sold out, and one thing that I love the most is that while my tickets on presale, there was a lot of haters and devils that kept trying to push this propaganda,” she explained.

The mother of four children with estranged husband Offset understands the value of hard-earned money from her working-class background.

She refuses to deliver anything less than a complete entertainment experience for ticket buyers who spend their money on her shows.

“I don’t like to play with my money, so I wouldn’t want to play with y’all money,” Cardi stated in the video. “So if y’all paying to see me, I’m gonna give y’all a hell of a show.”

The tour has received positive reviews from attendees who praise her energy and stage presence throughout the lengthy performances.

The tour continues through spring 2026, with additional dates under consideration due to high demand.

Tom Hanks’ Rapping Son Chet Haze Stranded In Colombia Without U.S. Passport

Tom Hanks’ son, rapper Chet Haze, found himself stuck overseas in Colombia after claiming his US passport had become invalid during his South American trip.

The rapper posted desperate social media messages asking for help to return home. His travel documents apparently expired while he was visiting the country, leaving him unable to board flights back to America.

The 33-year-old performer has made headlines before for his attempts to break into Hip-Hop music and controversial social media posts. Chet released several rap tracks over the years, but his career has been met with mixed reactions from the Hip-Hop community due to his privileged background and perceived cultural appropriation.

Chet’s passport issues stem from administrative problems rather than legal troubles. The State Department typically handles these cases through emergency travel documents for stranded American citizens abroad.

His father, Tom Hanks, has not publicly commented on the situation, though family sources suggest they are working to resolve the matter quickly.

His social media posts from the country showed him enjoying local culture and music before the passport problems emerged.

Passport expiration issues are common among American tourists who don’t check the validity of their documents before international trips. Similar cases typically resolve within 72 hours once proper paperwork is submitted to consular services.

Method Man Says He’s “Not OK” Following Oliver ‘Power’ Grant’s Passing

Method Man broke his silence about losing Wu-Tang Clan executive producer Oliver ‘Power’ Grant, who died at age 52 this week.

The Hip-Hop legend posted emotional tributes on social media after the group’s official Instagram account confirmed Grant’s death. Method Man wrote “Paradise my Brother safe Travels!! #pookie #power” before adding “Bruh I am not OK.”

Grant served as a founding member and executive producer on every Wu-Tang Clan album while building their business empire beyond music.

The visionary created the Wu Wear clothing line and helped transform the group from Staten Island rappers into a global brand.

Raekwon honored Grant’s memory by writing “POWER we been everywhere … now you everywhere! the most high is merciful love you.” GZA emphasized Grant’s essential role by stating, “We couldn’t have done it without him. Wu wouldn’t have come to fruition without Power.”

View this post on Instagram

The YouTube tribute video explains how Grant “helped shape the Wu-Tang era in ways most fans never noticed” and details his behind-the-scenes contributions to Hip-Hop culture.

Grant appeared in films such as Belly (1998) and Black and White (1999), alongside his Wu-Tang colleagues.

Grant opened up about his business philosophy in a 2011 Complex interview, where he explained his approach to diversifying Wu-Tang’s output.

“Initially, when we started doing the music, my interests just came from trying to figure out a way to diversify what we was doing,” Grant said.

He described his creative control over Wu Wear, saying, “that was all me. I had a crew of people who worked with me and helped me achieve and do the things that I wanted to do.”

The executive producer emphasized that his vision came from knowing the group personally before their business partnership formed.

“At the end of the day, it was just something I made for us, for them to project to the people,” Grant explained.

Wu-Tang Clan received a nomination for the 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class.

Why Is Shia LaBeouf Calling Out Kendrick Lamar?

HUH?

Shia LaBeouf appears to have taken aim at Kendrick Lamar, and the reasoning feels unclear at best. In a recent interview, the actor claimed he asked Kendrick whether he supported Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. According to Shia, Kendrick declined to choose either side and allegedly said he did not care about that conversation.

View this post on Instagram

If that exchange happened as described, it should not shock anyone familiar with Kendrick Lamar’s history.

READ ALSO: Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Shia Labeouf Coming For Eminem’s Crown?

For years, Kendrick has approached social issues through music rather than party politics. Albums like To Pimp a Butterfly and DAMN. explore systemic racism, faith, survivor’s guilt, personal responsibility, and the psychological weight of being a Black man in America. That is cultural commentary. It is not partisan campaigning. There is a difference between being political and being a mouthpiece for a political party.

Kendrick has never built his brand around endorsing candidates. He has performed at major events and spoken about social injustice, but he has consistently avoided attaching himself to specific campaigns. That line has been clear throughout his career. So if he declined to publicly back Trump or Harris, that would be consistent with how he has always moved.

READ ALSO Will Drake Or Lil Yachty Repond To Shia LaBeouf?

The expectation that every influential figure must publicly declare a political allegiance has grown in recent years. Some artists embrace that role. Others reject it. Kendrick appears to fall into the latter category. That does not make him apolitical. It simply means he chooses to communicate through art instead of endorsements.

Shia LaBeouf, on the other hand, has had a complicated public journey. He has faced legal issues, including past arrests tied to disorderly conduct and public altercations. In addition, he has publicly discussed struggles with substance abuse and mental health. In 2020, he was sued by musician FKA Twigs over allegations of abuse, which he has denied in part while also acknowledging harmful behavior and seeking treatment. These events have shaped public perception of him in recent years.

That context raises a fair question. Why target Kendrick Lamar at all?

Kendrick is not known for podcast rants or celebrity call-outs. He keeps a relatively low profile, rarely engages in public feuds, and focuses on music and family. Whether people want him to be more outspoken during election cycles is one debate. But criticizing him for maintaining consistency feels misplaced.

There is also a broader cultural tension here. Some believe that silence during political moments equals complicity. Others believe that preserving artistic independence is a form of integrity. Kendrick’s career suggests he values independence. His activism has lived in verses, not voter guides.

At the end of the day, Kendrick Lamar is not bothering anyone. He has carved out his lane in Hip-Hop and remained disciplined about staying in it. If he chooses not to publicly align with candidates, that is his right. Inspiration does not always come wrapped in a campaign banner.

Shia is undeniably talented as an actor. Many people still root for him to find stability and peace. But focusing energy on questioning another man’s political posture might not be the most productive move, especially when that man has consistently chosen to let his art speak.

Kendrick Lamar’s Legacy In Context

To fully understand this moment, it helps to remember Kendrick Lamar’s cultural impact. Emerging from Compton in the early 2010s, Kendrick quickly became one of Hip-Hop’s most respected lyricists. good kid, m.A.A.d city told a deeply personal story about adolescence and morality. To Pimp a Butterfly became a soundtrack for conversations around race and policing in America. He later won a Pulitzer Prize for DAMN., a rare honor in Hip-Hop history. Kendrick’s legacy has been built on introspection, social awareness, and disciplined artistry. He has influenced a generation without attaching himself to political campaigns, proving that cultural power can exist outside of party lines.

Cardi B Ends Beef With Trump Advisor Out Of Fear She Will Be Kidnapped

Cardi B backed down from her legal threats against Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz after revealing she felt paranoid about government surveillance.

The Bronx rapper dropped her lawsuit plans following a heated Twitter exchange that started over Nicki Minaj bot allegations and escalated into personal attacks.

The drama began when Bruesewitz criticized a Politico report claiming Nicki Minaj’s social media presence was artificially boosted by bots.

Bruesewitz accused the study’s authors of having undisclosed ties to Cardi’s management team through agent Mike ‘G’ Guirguis.

Cardi initially fired back with deleted posts threatening legal action against the political strategist. She demanded proof of any connections between herself and the bot analysis company Cyabra.

“Show me where I’m affiliated with this company,” Cardi wrote in her now-deleted response to Bruesewitz’s allegations.

Bruesewitz doubled down on his claims and questioned why Cardi removed her lawsuit threats so quickly. The exchange grew more intense as both sides traded accusations about political motivations and business relationships.

The situation took a dramatic turn when Cardi revealed her real reasons for ending the beef during an X Spaces conversation. She admitted feeling genuinely scared about potential government retaliation.

“I don’t even play that s###. I don’t want no smoke with nobody from the f###### government, b####. I don’t want no beef with no white folks that work in the m############ White House, because, God forbid, my m############ plane blow up on some weird s###. I get kidnapped, they play with my family,” Cardi explained during the live audio session.

The rapper expressed paranoia about being monitored by federal agencies after her public dispute with a presidential advisor. She worried about surveillance and potential threats to her safety and family.

“It makes me feel like people that are in power and are in the White House is watching me and looking at me and stalking me. M############ might be outside my hotel

Bruesewitz responded to Cardi’s retreat with a victory lap on social media, posting his message of forgiveness.

“Thanks for playing, @iamcardib , and I appreciate you dropping your frivolous lawsuit threat against me! I forgive you!” Bruesewitz wrote on X.

The original Cyabra report that started the controversy claimed over 18,000 bots were artificially amplifying Minaj’s posts across social media platforms.

Bruesewitz will appear on a podcast next week to discuss the incident further.

“Sinners” Crushes NAACP Image Awards Competition With Michael B. Jordan Leading Charge

Michael B. Jordan claimed two major honors at Saturday’s NAACP Image Awards ceremony, while Ryan Coogler’s horror film Sinners collected an impressive 13 trophies out of 18 nominations.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium event saw Jordan take home both Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture and the coveted Entertainer of the Year award for his dual performance in the acclaimed thriller.

Miles Caton earned the Breakthrough Performance award while Delroy Lindo and Wunmi Mosaku secured Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress honors, respectively, for their roles in the Warner Brothers production.

Director Ryan Coogler swept multiple categories, including Outstanding Motion Picture, Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture, and Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture, with the entire cast also receiving Outstanding Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture recognition.

The film’s soundtrack also earned recognition during the ceremony, cementing Sinners as the night’s biggest winner ahead of the upcoming Academy Awards season.

Coogler delivered a powerful acceptance speech that resonated throughout the auditorium.

“Since our people been here over four centuries, there’s always been a lot of lies told about us. And a lie, no matter how powerful the person saying it is, is still a lie and the truth, no matter how little power the person saying it has, is still the truth, and the truth is y’all are loved, y’all are beautiful and y’all are powerful and mighty. And bless y’all. Thank y’all so much.”

Jordan used his Best Actor acceptance moment to honor his late Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman, delivering an emotional tribute that brought the crowd to their feet.

“Y’all really don’t understand how much this means to me, being here. I used to come here when I was a kid, when I was about 15 years old, sneaking in through the back as best I could,” Jordan said during his speech.

The actor continued his heartfelt remarks, adding: “This is a place where I always felt encouraged, always felt like I was being celebrated and nourished. You told me it was OK to keep going because I felt seen here, I felt comfortable, I felt the love. That’s why I love being here, and I love you guys so much.”

Jordan concluded his acceptance speech with a dedication that moved the entire ceremony: “And I was thinking about lead actor, and I was thinking about what lead actor meant to me, and, honestly, I’ve got to dedicate this award to Chadwick Boseman. I love being Black. I love y’all.”

The horror film’s success at the NAACP Image Awards positions it as a strong contender for the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony scheduled for March 15, 2026.

Deon Cole’s Nicki Minaj & Donald Trump Jokes Ignite Death Threats From MAGA & Barbz

The world can be harsh, but this feels like a breaking point.

Death threats?

Last night, Deon Cole took the stage as host of the 2026 NAACP Image Awards, an annual celebration of Black excellence that has long balanced culture, entertainment and sometimes social commentary. The ceremony has historically blended inspiration with sharp humor. Think of past hosts who used the platform to critique politics, pop culture and even the audience itself. That tradition continued this year.

But what started as roasting turned into something darker.

During his monologue, Cole cracked jokes about several high profile figures, including Donald Trump, Nicki Minaj and 50 Cent. The comedian leaned into satire, even framing part of his commentary as a mock prayer. We laughed.

In one segment, Cole referenced Minaj’s recent public support of Trump and her alignment with the MAGA movement. He joked, “Lord, we want you to bless our sister Nicki Minaj. She’s been going through a lot lately and hasn’t been herself, Lord. I believe whatever’s in her body is affecting her brain, Lord.” The punchline drew pure laughter from the audience.

He also addressed the recent BAFTAs controversy involving a Tourette’s activist who shouted the N-word during a presentation. Cole warned, in jest, that anyone in the audience with Tourette’s “better read the room tonight.” This is humor but definitely sensitive territory.

The NAACP Image Awards have always provided space for bold commentary like most shows of this nature. Over the years, the show has addressed racism, police brutality, political tension and cultural issues. Comedy has often been this vehicle, but the reaction is now something otherworldly. Or, it could be very Earthly in nature.

Within hours, Cole reportedly began receiving threatening messages, even death threats.

Supporters of Trump took issue with the political jabs. Some members of Nicki Minaj’s fan base expressed outrage online. Others aligned with 50 Cent criticized the comedian. A few individuals crossed the line entirely, referencing Cole’s late mother in cruel online posts.

That is where the situation moves from debate to danger.

Criticism is one thing. Death threats are another. Comedy has long operated in uncomfortable spaces. From Richard Pryor to Chris Rock, George Carlin to Sam Kinison, to Tony Hinchcliffe and Roseanne Barr…pushing buttons has been part of the art form. There have been times when racism seemingly seeps in these spaces too. The audience groans, cheers or condemns, but rarely do they face what Cole now faces.

When fans move from disagreement to intimidation, it signals something more troubling about our digital culture. Oftentimes, it is a reflection of leadership. Social media does not help as it often rewards extremism over reasonable thought. A joke can become a rallying cry for harassment instantly.

Whether you found Cole funny or offensive is subjective. But threats and personal attacks are not commentary. They are escalation.

The NAACP Image Awards were created to uplift and honor Black achievement in entertainment, politics and community leadership. They have also served as a space for reflection and critique. If comedians cannot test boundaries without fear for their safety, the space for cultural conversation shrinks.

The bigger question is not whether Deon Cole went too far. It is whether we have.

Comedy has always walked a thin line. In the age of viral clips and hyperpartisan loyalty, that line feels thinner than ever. As audiences, we have to decide whether we can separate satire from warfare.

One thing is clear. Disagreement should never turn into threats.

Krissy Yamagucci’s Passing At 35 Marks Heartbreaking Loss For Battle Rap

The battle rap community is devastated as it mourns the loss of veteran female battle rapper Krissy Yamagucci, born Christ Lee Boothe, who reportedly passed away at 35.

A respected pioneer in women’s battle rap, Krissy helped lay the foundation for Queen of the Ring, playing a vital role in solidifying it as the world’s greatest all-women’s battle rap league.

Her impact was not limited to the movement’s early years. She remained active, sharp, and dangerous on the stage, continuing to prove why she was regarded as one of the culture’s most commanding performers.

News of her passing, believed to have occurred on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, was confirmed by family on Thursday, February 26. The announcement sent shockwaves through a community she helped build.

Her family member, Lyfesize Diivadoll, shared the heartbreaking statement on Instagram.

“It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved family member,” the post read. “She was a beautiful soul inside and out, a devoted mother of two intelligent boys, and a powerful female battle rapper whose presence commanded every stage she touched.”

The tribute continued, highlighting both her artistry and her devotion to her family.

“Her beauty radiated far beyond appearance — it lived in her confidence, her humor, and the fearless way she spoke her truth. Funny, well-spoken, and incredibly talented, she was truly the life of every show and left a lasting impression on everyone who witnessed her gift. Above all, she was a proud and loving mother who poured her strength, wisdom, and love into her sons every single day.”

A GoFundMe has been established to assist with funeral services and to provide continued support for her two sons.

Yamagucci battled across major platforms outside of QOTR, including CHROME23, Bullpen Battle League, Rare Breed Entertainment, and many other smaller leagues.

She also appeared on the Baddie Rap Show hosted by Murda Mook and was a breakout star on Baddies of Battle Rap, reaching the semifinals against Nadia Ali.

Her resume includes memorable performances against Tori Doe, Cee the Boss, Star Smilez and others.

More recently, she delivered a decisive win over rising star Yoshi G — a calculated and commanding performance that nearly shut the FAMU alum down as an emcee. It was proof that Krissy’s legacy was not frozen in nostalgia.

She was still evolving and still winning.

Beyond battle rap, Christ Lee Boothe was building a catalog as a recording artist.

Her 2024 single “Stand Out” showcased her ability to craft structured records while maintaining the confidence and sharp delivery that defined her battle persona.

She also appeared on collaborative releases, including “Heaven,” extending her reach onto streaming platforms and demonstrating that her artistry stretched beyond face-offs and crowd reactions.

For Krissy, music was not an afterthought. It was an expansion. Battle rap sharpened her pen; recording allowed her to shape it differently. She wasn’t content with viral moments alone. She was building a body of work.

Tributes from leagues and friends poured in as news spread.

Her Harlem sister and fellow battle rapper wrote, “WE LOVE YOU KRISSY!!! Forever in our hearts! Your name will live on baby.”

Battle rapper C3 shared, “I have been crying since 5 am. smh. I’m going to miss you, friend.”

Shooney Da Rapper posted, “Wow I’m hurt by this man… RIP Krissy.”

Babs Bunny wrote, “I’m extremely sad to see you go @krissyyamaguccci I took the time out to make this video for you,” later adding, “I keep coming back to your page cause I don’t want this to be true.”

Her home league, Queen of the Ring, honored her as foundational to its success: “To a true pioneer of the ring: Thank you for over a decade of brilliance on the QOTR platform. A natural-born star and gifted lyricist who helped define the world’s number-one female battle league. Rest in power, legend. Your legacy is etched in history and in our hearts forever.”

Bullpen Battle League wrote, “We send our sincere condolences to the family. It was a pleasure to have worked with her.”

Ultimate Rap League added, “Rest in Peace to Krissy Yamagucci. The culture will truly miss your unique style, charismatic presence, and upbeat attitude. Prayers to her family, friends, and the entire battle rap community.”

A candle lighting service took place on Friday, February 27, in Harlem, New York, where loved ones and supporters will gather to celebrate her life before burial.

Swizz Beatz Faces Double Financial Battle With IRS & 1MDB Lawsuit

Swizz Beatz owes the Internal Revenue Service more than $5.7 million in unpaid federal taxes while simultaneously battling a separate $7.3 million lawsuit connected to the 1MDB corruption scandal.

The Grammy-winning producer received his latest tax lien in January 2026 for $1,242,984 in unpaid 2024 income taxes, the New York Post reports.

Combined with outstanding liens totaling $4,482,273 for his 2022 and 2023 filings, the 47-year-old music mogul faces a staggering $5,725,257 federal tax bill.

Swizz Beatz’s business manager, Jeffrey Feinman, called the tax debt “old news” and claimed “there are certain issues under dispute” while the producer works toward resolution.

Alicia Keys remains unnamed in any of the tax liens against her husband of 14 years.

The Bronx-born producer’s financial troubles extend beyond tax issues into federal court proceedings related to the massive 1MDB Malaysian corruption scandal.

A federal judge denied Swizz Beatz’s motion to dismiss himself as a defendant in October 2025, forcing him to remain in litigation over $7.3 million allegedly connected to fugitive financier Jho Low.

Liquidators claim Swizz Beatz received the disputed funds through shell companies controlled by Low, the alleged mastermind behind the $7.65 billion 1MDB fraud.

Court documents reveal that the producer owned Andy Warhol’s “Round Jackie,” which Low allegedly gifted him in 2014 and that the Department of Justice later recovered as part of its 1MDB investigation.

The music executive has maintained his innocence regarding the 1MDB allegations, with his attorneys stating all payments were received “without actual fraudulent intent.”

This marks the producer’s third major tax crisis since 2008, when he and former wife Mashonda Tifrere accumulated $2.6 million in federal liens across New York, Georgia and California.

He previously resolved a $655,785 IRS debt in 2016 for unpaid taxes from 2009, 2014 and 2015.

The producer has continued his expensive hobbies despite mounting legal costs, reportedly spending millions on more than 50 racing camels for his “Saudi Bronx” team competing in Middle Eastern races.

Bhad Bhabie Somberly Plays With Her Toddler After Sad Cancer Update

Bhad Bhabie spent some good family time with her baby girl, Kali Love, after receiving troubling news from her medical team this week about her ongoing battle with blood cancer.

The 22-year-old rapper posted a cute video of herself on her IG stories, showing her spending time with the toddler as the two snuggled and played on the bed.

Bhad Bhabie seemed sad as the two played. The video comes after she shared a brief but powerful message on X Saturday that left supporters rallying around her with prayers and encouragement.

“Bad news from my doctor yesterday, god has the last say so not my cancer,” Bhad Bhabie wrote to her millions of followers.

The statement came without additional details about her specific diagnosis or treatment plan, but sources close to the situation confirm she continues receiving medical care for blood cancer.

The Florida native first revealed her cancer battle in November 2024 when critics questioned her noticeable weight loss after giving birth to her daughter.

She shut down speculation by explaining that cancer medication caused the physical changes people were commenting on across social media platforms.

“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose weight. I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running w the worst narratives,” she stated on Instagram Stories at the time.

The announcement prompted an outpouring of support from her dedicated fanbase, who flooded the comments with messages of hope and faith.

Bhad Bhabie rose to fame after her memorable 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil, where she coined the phrase “Cash me outside, how bout dat.”

She later transformed that viral moment into a successful rap career, becoming the youngest female rapper to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

She also hit the jackpot after launching her OnlyFans account in 2021, which has since raked in over $75 million.

The young mother has been balancing her health challenges, raising her infant daughter, and maintaining her music career.

While Bhad Bhabie has been under consistent medical supervision since her diagnosis, the specific type and stage of her blood cancer have not been publicly disclosed, respecting her privacy during treatment.

50 Cent Documentary Rumors… Could T.I. & Tiny Doc Take Battle Too Far?

There’s chatter bubbling up again, and before we go any further, let’s be clear: this is rumor territory. There is no verified reporting, no official announcement, and no credible sourcing that confirms any of this. But since it is being discussed publicly, let’s unpack what is being said.

Tasha K, the controversial podcaster who previously lost a high-profile defamation lawsuit to Cardi B, recently hinted at a possible documentary involving T.I. and Tiny Harris. According to her claims, the project could allegedly be backed by 50 Cent. Again, this is speculation and rumors.

Still, the timing makes people curious.

50 Cent has built a second career as a formidable executive producer in television and film. His documentary work and crime-based storytelling have often targeted powerful figures, including his well-publicized critiques of Diddy. So the idea of him turning his lens toward the Harris family is not outside the realm of possibility. It would, however, represent a serious escalation in what has already been an intensely personal back-and-forth.

Last week, the Harris family responded aggressively to 50 Cent’s online commentary. Diss records surfaced. Memes were posted. Social media trolling reached another level. It was multi-generational and coordinated in a way we have rarely seen directed at 50. If there was ever a moment where he appeared to take more of a promotional posture and less of a combative one, it was now. He shifted attention toward his television ventures and business projects.

That pivot is what has fueled the rumor machine. If he is not sparring publicly, is he building something behind the scenes?

Here is where things get complicated. The legal matter involving T.I. and Tiny was previously settled in their favor. A documentary revisiting that chapter would have to navigate facts carefully. Settlements do not prohibit storytelling, but they do frame the narrative. Depending on perspective, the same set of facts can be presented in dramatically different ways. That is the power and danger of documentary filmmaking.

And if this were to unfold, it would not be one-sided. The Harris camp has referenced legal documents, prior allegations tied to 50 Cent, and other controversies that could be reintroduced into public discourse. A documentary war could easily become a mutually assured destruction battle.

But let’s back up…

This is Hip-Hop. It thrives on lyrical combat, cultural debate, and competitive energy. What it does not need is endless cycles of destruction that pull families, children, and old legal wounds back into the spotlight. These are RICH public figures with enormous platforms. Most people watching from the sidelines are just trying to navigate rising costs, political tension, and global instability.

If this rumor turns out to be nothing, then it fades as quickly as it appeared. If there is something brewing, then transparency will eventually surface. Until then, it remains talk.

For now, maybe cooler heads prevail. Maybe.
