“N##### tryna shoot they shot, Stephen Curry,” raps Sexyy Red on one of her hit records. The St. Louis rapper’s line about the four-time NBA champion joins a lengthy list of Steph Curry lyrics throughout Hip-Hop history.
Amber Corrine recently caught up with Steph Curry for an interview. The conversation for Vibe included Corrine asking Curry to share his reaction to hearing his name dropped in Sexyy Red’s “SkeeYee” single.
“When Sexxy Red did it, I just started laughing. I don’t know. I had never seen her at a basketball game,” Steph Curry responded. “SkeeYee” lives on Red’s Hood Hottest Princess mixtape.
Additionally, Curry revealed his favorite rap bars that contain his name. He mentioned Drake’s “0 to 100 / The Catch Up” where the OVO frontman says, “I been Steph Curry with the shot. Been cookin’ with the sauce, Chef Curry with the pot.”
The guard for the Golden State Warriors also shouted out “Be Careful” by Cardi B. On that track, Cardi opens her first verse by rapping, “I wanna get married, like the Currys, Steph and Ayesha s###. But we more like Belly, Tommy and Keisha s###.”
Sexyy Red’s “SkeeYee” became her second entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2023. She also scored Hot 100 hits with “Pound Town 2” featuring Tay Keith and Nicki Minaj as well as “Rich Baby Daddy” off Drake’s For All the Dogs album.
As the Israel-Hamas War wages on, some people question why Aubrey Drake Graham has remained silent on the conflict.
Drake once proudly represented his Jewish heritage in his content. As a result, fellow Jewish celebrity DJ Vlad called out the Canadian Hip-Hop superstar for not speaking out on the ongoing, deadly situation in Israel and Gaza.
DJ Vlad also chastised Palestinian-American DJ Khaled for remaining silent as well. The VladTV founder interviewed DJ Akademiks to get his take on Drake choosing not to use his global platform to address the hostilities in the Middle East.
Has anyone noticed that the most famous Jewish person on Earth, Drake, and the most famous Palestinian person on Earth, DJ Khaled, haven't said a single thing about the Gaza-Israel conflict? It's not like Drake is too busy. He's been writing paragraphs about Joe Budden hurting…
“I do think when it comes to Drake and Khaled, it’s probably a concerted effort of not trying to isolate people,” argued DJ Akademiks. “It’s like, ‘Ok, if I say something, what will it even matter?'”
The controversial podcaster also added, “Do you think at this point that Drake is wearing the fact that he’s Jewish on his back? Not saying he’s not. I think he’s gone away from trying to be the, ‘Hey, this is the Jewish rapper.'”
Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, recently responded to the criticism directed at his son. The older Graham stated, “If you say something about this one, you’re going to get criticized. If you say something about someone else, you’re going to get criticized.”
Set It Off dropped on October 13 via Motown Records/UMG Recordings. The 60-minute project debuted at No. 5 with 70,000 first-week units. That 70,000 total includes 59 million streams and 25,000 pure sales.
“So proud of my baby!! Going against all odds… leaving his label, starting fresh, staying focused determined, and not letting nothing break him… he did that! ❤️ MY TURN,” tweeted Cardi B on October 22.
So proud of my baby!! Going against all odds… leaving his label, starting fresh, staying focused determined and not letting nothing break him… he did that! ❤️ MY TURN.
The “MY TURN” portion of Cardi B’s post on the X platform seemed to tease that her highly-anticipated sophomore album is on the way. It has been five years since the Bronx native put out 2018’s Invasion of Privacy.
Cardi and Offset appeared together on Set It Off. The celebrity couple collaborated on “Freaky” and the previously released “Jealousy” single. Set It Off also features Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Mango Foo, Latto, Young Nudy and Chlöe.
Back in September, Cardi B stated about Set’s latest studio LP, “This album is so good… I believe [it’s] Grammy-worthy. So much time, passion, love, sweat, and tears put into it. From the music to the visual.”
Offset’s Set It Off follows 2019’s Gold-certified Father of 4 which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. In addition, the Migos member made it into the chart’s Top 10 region with 2017’s Without Warning joint project with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage.
Queens battle rapper DNA got the stamp of approval from 50 Cent, who featured one of his songs on the latest episode of Power.
The track appears on the closing credits of episode 8 of Power Book IV: Force, titled “Dead Reckoning.” DNA took to social media over the weekend to celebrate the achievement. He shared a video of the song playing as the closing credits rolled.
“JUST FINISHED WATCHING POWER ‘FORCE’ EPISODE 8 N GUESS WHO SONG PLAYS AT THE END OF SHOW,” he wrote alongside the video.
DNA met up with 50 Cent earlier this year when The Final Lap tour rolled into Houston. The G-Unit boss was in town during the same weekend Ultimate Rap League hosted Summer Madness. 50 Cent and DNA joined URL co-founder Smack White in a video shout-out to promote the event.
Meanwhile, DNA is gearing up to host Halloween Havoc later this week (October 28). He’s set to face his longtime friend and fellow battle rapper, Wild N’ Out star Charlie Clips, in a showdown using solely wrestling-themed bars.
50 Cent called out Joe Biden for reportedly taking vacation amid chaos in the Middle East and uncertainty at Capitol Hill over House speakership.
The President and his wife took some time out over the weekend, heading to his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home. The couple was pictured relaxing on the beach as the conflict continued in the Middle East, but their so-called vacation was actually misinformation that started with an article at The Daily Mail.
Social media users blasted the President online for escaping the crisis, but did not realize it was erroneous and flat-out wrong. Among them was 50 Cent, who took to Instagram calling on Joe Biden to return to Washington.
On Saturday (October 21), Fiddy shared a headline from a report about Biden’s vacation that read, “Biden hits the beach with Middle East, Congress in chaos,” adding his reaction in the caption.
“Hey Joe get the f### up,” he wrote. “We in trouble man!”
A day later 50 Cent shared a report about his reaction to Joe Biden going on vacation amid the crisis. “50 Cent Flames Biden For Vacation With World On The Brink,’ read the headline.
“We got some real s### going on out here Joe,” the G-Unit founder wrote alongside the photo. “What’s the plan to get a tan and chill come on now.”
The only thing is 50 Cent misrepresented the president’s visit to Rehobeth. First of all, the president was not laying on the beach as represented in his instagram post. In fact, Instagram flagged the post. The statement read, “Independent fact-checkers say information in this post is missing context and could mislead people. Photo Does NOT Show Joe Biden Sunbathing On Beach During Gaza And U.S. House Crisises In October 2023 — It’s An Old Picture.”
Others on social media countered the narrative. JoJoFromJerz said, “President Biden went to Delaware this weekend. While there, he took a walk with his wife, secured critical aid into Gaza, spoke with his national security team, the POPE, the leaders of Germany, France, Italy, the UK and Canada.”
President Biden went to Delaware this weekend. While there, he took a walk with his wife, secured critical aid into Gaza, spoke with his national security team, the POPE, the leaders of Germany, France, Italy, the UK and Canada.
In an update on X (formerly Twitter) Sunday night (October 22), Biden responded to the chatter. He explicitly stated he talked to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about humanitarian aid to Palestinians. The two heads of state also discussed the efforts to free the remaining hostages held by Hamas.
“The first two convoys of humanitarian assistance arrived in Gaza yesterday,” Biden wrote. “We affirmed that there will now be a continued flow of this critical aid to Palestinians in need.”
He continued, “I also expressed appreciation for Israel’s support in helping to secure the release of two American hostages, and Prime Minister Netanyahu and I discussed ongoing efforts to secure the release of all remaining hostages taken by Hamas. We’ll continue to stay in close touch.”

The rapper who is currently embroiled in a legal battle over custody of his son with Blac Chyna, is taking some time out to relax on a beach trip. Tyga seemingly shed his worries – and everything else – during his trip, as shown in his vacation snaps.
He took to Instagram Sunday to post a few highlights from his trip. Tyga shared a series of photos of himself against a backdrop of golden sands, blue skies and crashing waves. The first few pics featured the “Brand New” hitmaker showing off his tattoos while wearing a pair of blue swim shorts, by the last slide, Tyga had ditched the clothes altogether.
In the final image, Tyga is photographed from behind while strolling along the shore completely nude.
“my presence is a present…kiss my ass,” he penned in the caption, borrowing a line from Kanye West’s 2010 hit “Monster.”
Lil Baby has spoken out after a video surfaced online claiming to feature the rapper engaged in a sex act with another man.
The Atlanta native was trending on Sunday (October 22) as users on X (formerly Twitter) circulated the explicit clip, alleging Lil Baby was the man in the video. Some also suggested James Harden, who is good friends with Lil Baby, was the second person in the clip.
The internet had a field day with the video, with people sharing memes and roasting the rapper.
The “Detox” hitmaker soon caught wind of the rumors and took to social media to respond, denying he’s the man in the video and claiming he’s being used for clout. In an Instagram post Sunday night, Lil Baby slammed the “sick” rumors and said the video is clickbait.
“Y’all gotta stop using my name and likeness when y’all get bored,” he began. “Then the extremes mfs go to for clout is sick!! Ain’t no mystery in my history on NO LEVEL.”
He continued, “This my last time addressing any kind of dumb ass click bait Tf is wrong wit y’all.”
Lil Baby signed off with “no flaws -no cap in my raps.”
Check out his post and some of the reactions below.
This isn’t the first time Lil Baby has been the target of unfounded rumors surrounding his sexuality. Earlier this year, 50 Cent trolled him over a photo he took at Michael Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons. Fiddy posted the pic featuring Lil Baby hugging two men, implying he was engaged in a g###### act while taking a shot at Diddy too.
“See this is why I don’t go to no party Puffy and them at. Da f### is going on here?” he penned in the caption. “Get the f## off my young [ninja]. WTF!”
Blueface has proposed to his high school sweetheart, Jaidyn Alexis, but the happy occasion didn’t stop him from tearing into his mother after she commented on his engagement.
The “Thotiana hitmaker got down on one knee during the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers game at SoFi Stadium in L.A. on Sunday (October 22). Jaidyn Alexis was overcome with emotion as Blueface placed a huge diamond ring on her ring finger.
However, things soon turned sour as the rapper got into an online back-and-forth with his mother.
“Did this ninjas propose to the maid,” Karlissa Saffold posted on her Instagram Story shortly after the proposal. “Oh well it is October.”
Blueface hit back, comparing the size of his mother’s wedding ring to the one he gave his fiancé and dragging her for having children with multiple men.
In one video, Blueface, calling his mom by her first name, asks, “You wanna compare booty cheeks with my wife right? Bet! Let’s compare rings.” Check out the video below.
The MILF Music founder also followed up on X (Formerly Twitter), doubling down on his attacks.
“My mother is a w####,” he wrote. “Been married 3 times 3 kids by 3 different men an never married none of them men.”
He also accused his mother of marrying rich men “so she could divorce an take from them.” He continued, “An at the end of it all she’s sleeping with a bum every night sad story fr could never respect her as a women.”
Lil Yachty was scheduled to perform at the Thunderbird Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia on Saturday night (October 22), but the show didn’t go according to plan. Per TMZ, the 26-year-old rapper appeared to encourage the crowd to rush the stage, causing organizers to pull the plug. Concert attendees claimed Lil Yachty was yelling “fill it up” as he started his set. Fans then began climbing over railings and security guards to get to the mosh pit area to be as close to Lil Yachty as possible.
After performing three or four songs, Lil Yachty’s mic was cut and the house lights were turned on. Someone then announced over the speaker that if attendees didn’t return to their seats, the show would be canceled. Evidently, they didn’t follow orders quickly enough and the show ended prematurely.

Concert promoters have been on high alert since 2021, when Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival ended in tragedy. During the show, a crowd surge ultimately led to 10 deaths. Scott faced questioning in a deposition for various lawsuits filed against him last month. It marked the first opportunity for attorneys to question Scott about the horrific incident.
“Travis Scott’s deposition is typical legal procedure,” Ted Anastasiou, a spokesperson for Scott, said in a statement. “What is not typical is how the media continues to focus on him despite being cleared of any wrongdoing by extensive government investigations, including by the Houston Police Department. Travis is fully cooperating with the legal process while still remaining committed to his tour in support of his record-breaking album, ‘Utopia,’ and his charitable efforts to support at-risk communities.”
More than 1,500 cases were filed against Scott and other parties involved in the Astroworld Festival. Live Nation reached settlements with some of the families of victims who died. No charges were filed against Scott following an investigation by the Houston Police Department. A grand jury also declined to indict him and five other people on any criminal counts related to the deadly concert. Police Chief Troy Finner wouldn’t explain his agency’s overall conclusion.
A man of many titles, T.I. has done it all. He’s a family man, first and foremost, a rapper, actor, producer, businessman and entrepreneur. Tip was recently joined by Grand Hustle members DJ Toomp, David Banner, Zaytoven, DJ MLK, D.J. Scream, Rep. Nikema Williams and other Atlanta officials to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his Trap Muzik album at the ATL’s Vendure Kitchen and Cocktails.
“Trap music is basically a philosophical presentation set to music that lets everyone know that number one, there’s a way out, number two, you’re not alone; number three, the lessons that you’ve learned from it is not in vain,” T.I. said. “The circumstances that we endured were supposed to destroy us. They were supposed to take all opportunities off of the table for us.”
Williams, who represents Georgia’s fifth district, spoke about how much T.I. has inspired people in and around Atlanta and across the country.
“I was once a public-school teacher in Atlanta 20 years ago and literally had to put kids out of my class for singing T.I.,” Williams said. “It was because they saw somebody who represented them and the neighborhoods that they’re from and saw there was a way out of their current situation and circumstances. I know what it means to have someone you could look up to show you that there is so much more in this world. That is what T.I. has done for generations of young people and not just Atlanta, not just the south, but the country.”
T.I. was quick to thank everyone involved in his album Trap Muzik and the genre.
“Although it is the 20th anniversary of the album Trap Muzik, we are not celebrating the album. We are celebrating the culture. The culture has evolved and existed beyond the life of the album because of the contributions of so many others outside of myself,” T.I. said.
“Trap music means the struggle and the grind trying to get it,” P$C rapper Big Kuntry King added.
On October 10, T.I. made his directorial and writing debut in the movie Da Partments, nearly 22 years after releasing his debut album I’m Serious.
“There is a lot of work that we put in and there’s still a lot of work to be done,” T.I. said. “I’m excited about all of the parts of the journey. Da Partments is a story about community and all the nuances of that community, the people that existed and ambitions and life lessons that come with it and their struggles and their humor. Art is supposed to be a representation of life. This comedy represents the parts of life that I feel a lot of people come from but don’t get to see on television.”
T.I. also spoke about prominent and well-respected Hip-Hop historian NuFace, who coined the popular hashtag and phrase “NuFace Was There'” and what he means to the culture and music.
“NuFace’s contribution to culture is incredible, and it must be celebrated and acknowledged. He represents the value of preserving history,” T.I. said. “A lot of these things, I don’t think anybody including myself really recognized the true value of it in the future. His preservation of our memorabilia is synonymous with the preservation of having Mike Tyson’s first boxing glove or having the jersey that Michael Jordan first won a championship in.”
Best known as the “King of The South,” the multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning rapper has released 11 albums. His previous album, The L.I.B.R.A., was released in 2020. He’s best known for songs such as “24s,” “Rubber Band Man,” “You Don’t Know Me,” “Big Things Poppin,” “Be Easy” and “Family Connect.”
“Big Boi once said the object of the game of chess is to kill the King, and chess is obviously a game of life,” he said. “He was right about that, and I understand it more now than I did then. ‘Kill the King’ is really a reflection of the concept of killing the ego. ‘Kill the King’ is reflective of my understanding that one will starve the ego to truly find peace.”

Kim Kardashian has admitted that she is seeking a “more age-appropriate” relationship after her romance with Pete Davidson.
During the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” the 42-year-old reality star revealed one of her requirements for potential suitors.
Before attending an Arsenal F.C. game with her sons while in London, Kim’s friends teased that there could be “cute guys” at the sporting event.
“Why are you all looking at me? I have age limits, guys,” Kim Kardashian told them. “I need just a little more age-appropriate. I need (someone in their) 40s.”
In a confessional during the episode, Kim stated that her friends are desperate to set her up with someone. However, she insisted that she is “okay” being single for the time being.
“When you’re single and all your friends are married, it’s like you have desperation on your face and everyone under the sun wants to hook you up with someone,” she said. “I’m genuinely just okay with being by myself for a minute and the right situation will come my way.”
Kim finalized her divorce from Kanye West, 46, in November 2022 after six years of marriage. They share four children, North, 10, Saint, seven, Chicago, five, and Psalm, four.
The Kardashians star was recently rumored to be dating NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., 30, but this has not been confirmed.
Producer DJ Muggs, widely known as a member of Cypress Hill, is indicative of many individuals whose work graced our eardrums in the era commonly referred to as Hip-Hop’s Golden Era. He continued to tack on considerable editions to his sonic résumé with Soul Assassins as well. DJ Muggs was recently at Manhattan’s SoHo House with director Jason Goldwatch for a screening for his new film, Death Valley, a video companion to the new Soul Assassins 3 album of the same name.
DJ Muggs isn’t someone who’s always out and about, so we seized the opportunity to speak with the iconic producer about his upcoming works. But first, we asked him a legacy question.
AllHipHop.com: Cypress Hill have always been pioneers.
DJ Muggs: We didn’t come out waving that flag. We just came out as a dope ass band. Our label was Columbia Records and if you listened you might think, ‘Oh, yeah! Those are latinos,’ but we didn’t want to wave that flag like that. We didn’t even want to show our faces. Columbia Records made us show our faces. You know what I mean? That was just because our music was dope as f**k.
And we were going head-to-head with all the m############. You were there in ’91? (Of course!) Then you know we went head-to-head with everybody. That’s what it was all about! But, you know what the f##k it is? Everybody’s shortsighted. You know what I mean?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmG_9et-D-o
AllHipHop.com:I am not trying to start anything but yes, Big Pun and Fat Joe had the streets on fire, but as far as artistry is concerned, it was Cypress Hill for me.
DJ Muggs: Yeah, I love Joe! I love Pun, too. But I love Cypress Hill, too. We’re still here doing our thing. I like to go away from the norm, myself. If nobody’s doing that, then I’m doing that. I don’t like following trends. I like setting them.
AllHipHop.com:What are some other things Cypress Hill pioneered that people aren’t aware of?
DJ Muggs: Back then, everybody was smoking weed, but nobody was talking about in their lyrics. We were the first ones who starting mentioning weed in our lyrics, now everybody does it. Even if you want to go back to the first Source Awards, we were rocking tattoos before anybody. I like to go away from the norm, myself. If nobody’s doing that, then I’m doing that. If everybody’s doing it, then I’m doing something else.
As previously mentioned, “Soul Assassins 3: Death Valley” is currently available on all DSPs. Fans can also catch DJ Muggs’ appearance in the 2022 documentary Cypress Hill: Insane in the Brain.

Julia Fox has opened up about her past relationship with Kanye West.
While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show to promote her new memoir, Down the Drain, the 33-year-old actress and mother of one compared dating West to having a second baby.
“I only could do it for so long because ultimately, I think he needed a full-time person and I just couldn’t be full-time,” Fox explained. “I had my son (Valentino), and then he’d wanna talk on the phone a lot, like, I’d have to change diapers, so I bought a pair of AirPods so I could keep it in while I was doing mom stuff.”
Fox then told host Drew Barrymore that her “overwhelming” and “unsustainable” relationship with Kanye West eventually became “too much.”
“Ultimately, I cannot put anybody else first,” she shared. “My son has to be first. It just became too much. I didn’t sign up to have two babies. I couldn’t do it. It felt like two babies.”
In a recent interview with [The Howard Stern Show](https://youtu.be/RG0sc6iwAjA), chart-topping artist Post Malone shared the surprising secret behind his noticeable weight loss.
The “White Iverson” singer, known for his unique blend of Hip-Hop and rock, has always been candid about his life and choices. This time, he opened up about the changes he made to his diet while on tour, which led to a significant drop in his weight.
Post Malone revealed that the first step in his weight loss journey began during his tour. He consciously decided to switch up his diet, opting for healthier choices.
“I remember I went on tour, and I was like, you know what, I’m going to eat grilled chicken, I’m going to eat carrots, and I’m going to have a little bit of white rice every night,” he shared with Howard Stern.
But the real game-changer for the artist was a simple condiment: hot sauce. Post Malone was taken aback when he discovered that hot sauce had no calories.
“I was blown away. I was like, wait, what is actually going on? Hot sauce has no calories in it. This is sick! Something good that doesn’t have calories,” he exclaimed. This revelation became a staple in his meals, adding flavor without the added calories.
The singer also mentioned the challenges of maintaining a healthy diet while on tour. After performing, artists often finish late, leading to limited food options.
“Usually, at the end of the day after a show, you’re done, you finish up around 2:00. You don’t really know what city you’re in, you don’t really know where you are, you’re just in the bus. So it’s like, what’s really open? And it’s always greasy stuff,” he explained.
By making a conscious effort to avoid such foods, Post Malone managed to shed 20 pounds. Inspired by the initial results, he continued with his healthier choices and kept the momentum going.
Young Thug may find himself in a challenging position during his RICO trial, primarily due to his own statements.
In May 2022, Young Thug and 27 others were indicted under Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
The charges ranged from murder to carjacking. While many members, including Gunna, have since taken plea deals, Young Thug staunchly maintains his innocence.
He argues that YSL merely stands for “Young Stoner Life” and is a record label. However, the prosecution contends that YSL is an acronym for “Young Slime Life” and paints Young Thug as the mastermind behind a notorious drug-dealing gang in Atlanta.
To bolster their case, they’ve presented a two-hour interview with Young Thug in the months following a harrowing incident involving Lil Wayne’s tour bus.
In July of 2015, near Atlanta, Lil Wayne’s touring convoy was ambushed with gunfire. The alleged assailant, Jimmy “Peewee Roscoe” Winfrey, was later linked to the attack.
The music community was rife with rumors suggesting the shooting resulted from ongoing disputes between Lil Wayne and Birdman since the former was trying to leave Cash Money Records. Officials in Cobb County suspected Young Thug may have ordered the shooting.
Winfrey was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus. However, he was released from prison in November 2020. Just two years after his release, Peewee Roscoe faced re-indictment on RICO charges related to the YSL case.
Days after the 2015 incident involving Lil Wayne, Young Thug was detained on an unrelated charge for making terroristic threats, but the conversation with the police largely revolved around the attack on Lil Wayne.
While at the DeKalb County Jail, a detective named David Raissi from Cobb County and federal agent Tyra Cunningham visited the rapper. They wanted to talk to him about the incident involving Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus.
Before being read his rights, Detective Raissi told Young Thug that he wasn’t being charged for the shooting, and neither he nor Agent Cunningham planned to charge him for it. In fact, Young Thug was never charged for the shooting. He was only in jail for the separate threat charge from DeKalb County.
Young Thug had a lawyer, but only for the DeKalb County issue.
Even so, the detective and agent read Williams his rights. Young Thug didn’t sign the rights form but talked about the shooting with them for about two hours.
The chat was paused for 15 minutes because Williams had a hearing about the DeKalb issue. He came back and continued the conversation. He never asked for a lawyer during his talk with authorities.
Young Thug desperately tried to suppress the lengthy conversation, claiming that his right to have counsel present was violated and, thus, should not be admissible in his current RICO case.
Since Young Thug wasn’t charged for ordering the hit on Lil Wayne’s tour bus, Judge Ural Glanville decided his right to have a lawyer present during questioning wasn’t violated.
This is because the right to have a lawyer only starts when you’re charged with a specific crime. So, in this case, the court found that Williams didn’t yet have the right to a lawyer for the tour bus incident.
Judge Glanville indicated that the two-hour dialogue between Young Thug and the police would be deemed admissible evidence during the RICO trial.
“[Young Thug] o##### waived his Miranda rights before speaking with Detective Raissi and Agent Cunningham. [Young Thug’s]’ statements to them were voluntary and thus admissible. The evidence presented showed that [Young Thug] voluntarily waived his Miranda rights o#####, despite his refusal to sign the Miranda waiver form, after [Young Thug] was read his rights. An oral waiver of Miranda is a proper waiver of such rights,” Judge Glanville explained.
As previously highlighted by AllHipHop, Young Thug is gearing up to summon several renowned witnesses to vouch for him, including T.I., Killer Mike, Lyor Cohen, and Trae the Truth. The trial has yet to begin. It has been hampered by several delays as both sides attempt to pick jurors.
Adding to these complications, Young Thug’s health became a concern when he was hospitalized for two consecutive days, causing further delays in the YSL RICO case.
Mobile gaming has come a long way since the early days of Samsung or Nokia phones. What was once seen as a pastime for casual gamers has evolved into a formidable force in the world of eSports. The transformation of this activity from a simple distraction to a competitive sport has been nothing short of remarkable.
The Evolution of Mobile Gaming
In the not-so-distant past, video games were primarily associated with consoles and PCs. PC titles are still more advanced today: one can trade cs2 skins and get money or communicate through an in-game chat on their computer. However, as technology developed and smartphones became ubiquitous, a quiet revolution was brewing.
Today, mobile gaming has emerged from the shadows of its console and PC counterparts to claim its own significant share of the gaming market. This article delves into the fascinating journey of how mobile gaming has evolved.
The Humble Beginnings
Mobile gaming started with basic titles like Snake, Tetris, and Space Impact. These games served as entertainment during downtime, but their limitations were clear.
The advent of smartphones with powerful processors, high-resolution displays, and responsive touchscreens revolutionized the niche. Games like Angry Birds and Temple Run showcased the potential of these devices.
The Rise of the Freemium Model
In-app purchases and ads allowed developers to monetize their games effectively. Freemium titles like Clash of Clans and Candy Crush Saga began dominating app stores.
The Mobile Gaming Revolution
As smartphones became more capable, developers started creating more immersive gaming experiences. Casual gamers began to take mobile gaming more seriously.
Multiplayer and Social Integration: The inclusion of multiplayer modes and social features allowed players to compete with friends and strangers worldwide. Mobile versions of games like PUBG and Fortnite took the world by storm.
Mobile eSports Emerge: The competitive scene within mobile gaming began to thrive. Titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Arena of Valor established themselves as eSports giants.
Mobile Gaming Trends
As the industry continues to gain momentum, staying abreast of the latest trends is essential for both players and industry enthusiasts.
Cross-Platform Play: Many mobile games now support cross-platform play, allowing gamers to compete against players on other devices such as consoles and PCs, breaking down traditional gaming barriers.
Augmented Reality (AR) Gaming: Games like Pokémon GO introduced the world to AR gaming, blending virtual elements with the real world. This trend continues to evolve with games like Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
Cloud Gaming Services: Services like Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce NOW are bringing high-end PC and console games to smartphones, further blurring the lines between different gaming platforms.
The Dominance of Mobile eSports
Mobile eSports tournaments now offer substantial cash prizes, drawing in professional gamers and teams from around the world. A wide range of genres is represented in eSports, from battle royales and MOBAs to card games and racing titles, appealing to a broad audience.
Major corporations and investors are pouring money into mobile eSports, recognizing its potential for growth. This has led to increased prize pools, better infrastructure, and bigger events.
The Competitive Scene
Professional mobile gamers are now as revered as their PC and console counterparts. They train rigorously, have sponsorships, and compete in global tournaments. They are also making a name for themselves on platforms like YouTube and Twitch, creating content, and attracting audiences with their skills and personalities.
For aspiring eSports players, there are clear paths to success. Climbing the ranks in games, joining teams, and participating in qualifiers are common routes to the top.

Cher has declared that she “will leave” the U.S. if Donald Trump is re-elected as president.
In a new interview with The Guardian, the music icon, who is dating rap producer Alexander Edwards, stated that if Trump returns to the Oval Office as president, she will leave the country.
“I almost got an ulcer the last time,” Cher, 77, said of Trump’s first presidency between 2017 and 2021. “If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave (the country).”
Elsewhere in the interview, Cher discussed the laws that are being passed in the U.S. against trans people.
“It’s something like 500 bills they’re trying to pass,” Cher stated. “I was with two trans girls the other night – and of course my own child (Chaz Bono, who is trans). I was saying, ‘We’ve got to stand together.’ I don’t know what their eventual plan is for trans people. I don’t put anything past them.”
Cher has been a long-time supporter of the LGBTQ community. Her 54-year-old son Chaz, whom she shares with her ex-husband Sonny Bono, began his transition in the late 2000s.
Cher is currently gearing up to release a holiday album titled Christmas.
The album, her 27th, was released on Friday. Christmas consists of 13 tracks and features guest artists, including Stevie Wonder, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Bublé, Tyga and more.
Cher said the album “doesn’t scream Christmas every second and isn’t filled with songs you know by name.”
The album’s first single, “DJ Play a Christmas Song,” dropped earlier this month.
NLE Choppa is speaking out after his mother reported him missing last week.
The 19-year-old rapper explained his whereabouts in one of his recent Instagram Stories, but was clearly uncomfortable with the allegations he was “missing.” As he wrote, “I appreciate y’all showing concern but the missing narrative isn’t cool, especially knowing that people really do go missing everyday. I took a little time to myself to get back to my roots, but trust I’m all good. Apologies to anyone that was worried. We don’t run from battles we take em up chin up. IM BACK.”
NLE Choppa’s mother, Angeleta Potts, alarmed his fans on Thursday (October 19) with a social media post that read: “I haven’t heard from my son in hours, which is highly unusual for him. One thing I’ve always known about my son is that he never disappears without explanation. Another post from “management” encouraged anyone who has seen Choppa to get in touch with Potts.
Less than 24 hours later, Potts returned with a promising update, explaining, ““Thank you for the PRAYERS and SUPPORT,” she wrote. “Choppa’s ok he just needed a minute, but didn’t communicate it to his love ones. I never intended to scare anyone with my post nor did I expect for people to think he is missing But the frustrations of being the mother of a celebrity can be a bit much and overwhelming at times.”
NLE Choppa released his second studio album, Cottonwood 2, in April, which included the singles “S### Me Out” and “Do It Again” featuring 2Rare. But just days ago, some of his fans accused the Memphis-bred rapper of falling off, which perhaps explains he need for a break.
“Folks pissing me off,” he tweeted. “What NLE y’all watching bug beg it up […] Y’all keep asking for old NLE like the music I ain’t been giving y’all recently ain’t getting plaques! I’m tryna grow as [an] artist but y’all want me backtracking on BS. But bet that up. I’m on straight dirt y’all got me f##### up. One of the most streamed artists this year BUT BET.”
Jada Pinkett Smith has addressed longstanding rumors that she is gay.
In her newly released memoir “Worthy,” the 52-year-old actress wrote of her past sexual experiences with women.
“Now, there have always been rumors that I’m gay – that I like women,” Jada Pinkett Smith wrote. “Maybe that had something to do with the clubs where I hung out, like the Catch, one of the leading LGBTQ+ spots in LA at this time that had nights for getting up and doing lip-syncs, and where I myself, on several occasions, got up onstage and lip-synched to all kind of songs.”
The “Red Table Talk” host went on to reveal that while she “had a few sexual experiences with women,” she realized that “when it comes to sex, I love men.”
“Still, I cherish the beauty of women inside and out,” Jada continued. “And I have never stopped being infatuated and in awe of women of all ages, sizes, and colors. My belief is – women are the most amazing creatures on the planet, and I hold reverence for women through my friendships.”
Previously released excerpts of the star’s memoir have detailed her relationship with late rapper Tupac Shakur, how she overcame suicidal ideation, and the revelation that she and Will Smith had been secretly separated for the last seven years.
