Zeethewizard Tragic Update: Dallas Rapper Dies Days After Pink House Club Shooting

‌Dallas rapper Zeethewizard died Monday at a local hospital after being critically wounded in a New Year’s Day shooting at Pink House Dallas nightclub.

The rapper was among five people shot during the club’s grand opening celebration around 4 A.M. Thursday morning.

The 25-year-old artist had built a promising career after transitioning to music following a sports injury that ended his athletic aspirations. Zeethewizard was an active member of the New Dallas collective, a Hip-Hop group that advocates for peace and unity within the city’s music community.

The collective’s mission of promoting harmony stands in stark contrast to the violence that claimed Zeethewizard’s life during what should have been a celebratory event.

BigXthaPlug was present at the Pink House Dallas event and reacted emotionally to the shooting incident that wounded his friend and fellow artist.

The shooting wounded four other individuals besides Zeethewizard, though police have not released information about suspects or potential motives behind the violence.

Dallas authorities continue investigating the incident that transformed a New Year’s celebration into a tragedy for the local Hip-Hop community.

Dallas police are asking anyone with information about the Pink House shooting to contact investigators as they work to identify those responsible for the violence.

EXCLUSIVE: DMX To Be Posthumously Ordained As Minister At Underground Railroad Site

DMX will be posthumously ordained as a minister at the Foster Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Tarrytown in a ceremony that honors his deep spiritual influence and lifelong connection to faith.

The late Hip-Hop icon, born Earl Simmons, will be formally recognized by the Gospel Cultural Center with a service at 3 P.M. inside the 164-year-old sanctuary, which once served as a stop on the Underground Railroad.

The church, founded in 1860, is one of the earliest African Methodist Episcopal Zion congregations in Westchester County and has been designated a historic landmark for its role in helping enslaved people escape to freedom.

“Earl Simmons wrestled with God in the public square, turning his pain into a ministry of raw truth,” said Bishop Dr. Osiris Imhotep, founder of the Gospel Cultural Center. “This ordination recognizes the divine calling he fulfilled every time he spoke a prayer into a microphone.”

DMX, who passed away in 2021 at age 50, was known as much for his anthems as for his spiritual vulnerability.

Throughout his career, he often opened shows with heartfelt prayers and closed albums with spoken-word invocations.

In tracks like “Lord Give Me a Sign” and “Prayer,” he blended emotion with spiritual reflection, turning his music into a form of ministry that resonated with millions.

The ordination ceremony will include scripture from Acts 17:31 and is expected to draw Hip-Hop lovers, faith leaders and community members alike to celebrate the legacy of a man who used his platform to preach as much as perform.

The service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

EXCLUSIVE: BIG U Says Breathing Machine Confiscated, Mail Missing After He Was Sent To “The Hole”

Big U says his health is deteriorating and his legal defense is unraveling after being thrown in “the hole” at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles.

He also claims jail officials confiscated his CPAP breathing machine, withheld critical legal documents and stopped him from attending his murdered son’s viewing despite a court order allowing him to do so.

The jailed record industry executive told a federal judge that he has been unable to sleep safely or prepare for his complex racketeering trial since being transferred to the Special Housing Unit, commonly referred to as “the hole,” on January 1, without explanation or prior notice of disciplinary action.

“Put frankly, death can occur for those who require breathing machines when they sleep if they do not have one. Therefore, since being in the SHU without it, I simply cannot allow myself to fall asleep whatsoever,” Big U wrote in a letter to U.S. District Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha.

“My additional mattress accommodation due to back and shoulder injury, and my eyeglasses have also not been provided in SHU. My knee brace was returned after a short period, but the lack of sleep support and proper bedding has made my physical discomfort worse,” Big continued.

In the same filing, Big U said his legal preparation has been severely compromised. He claims that jail staff took a USB drive containing discovery materials and personal legal paperwork and failed to properly log it.

“To my knowledge, the USB and those legal materials were not inventoried,” he wrote. “When I have asked about them, staff have not acknowledged that they exist or that they were taken.”

He also stated that his communication with his legal team has been disrupted and that his mail has been tampered with.

“Approximately twenty-five pieces of legal correspondence were extremely delayed or never reached me at all,” he wrote. “On multiple occasions, legal mail has arrived to me already opened, so of course not opened in my presence. On other occasions, I have been told mail was sent but I never received it. These problems have involved important materials such as my indictment and other case documents or legal notes.”

His filing also details a personal tragedy

While in custody, Big U’s son was fatally shot in Los Angeles in late 2025. He stated that the court granted him permission to attend a private viewing, but jail officials prevented it from occurring.

EXCLUSIVE: Big U Blocked From Son’s Burial After Court Rejects His Proposal

“Losing my child while I am in custody has been among the most challenging experiences of my life,” he wrote. “Despite that order, I was not permitted the contact or participation that the Court intended. The order was not followed. I was not able to be present for my son in the way the Court had authorized and made an exception for after his death. I was not allowed private viewing, even though there was a court order for this. Of course, I will never have that opportunity again.”

Big U is at the center of a sweeping federal racketeering case prosecutors say involves the “Big U Enterprise,” a criminal organization allegedly tied to the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips.

Authorities claim the group operated like a mafia-style syndicate for over a decade, engaging in murder, extortion, fraud, human trafficking and other crimes.

He has pleaded not guilty to all 43 counts in the indictment.

One of the most serious allegations accuses Big U of orchestrating the January 2021 murder of aspiring rapper Rayshawn Williams, allegedly in retaliation for a diss track aimed at him. The case, built on intercepted phone calls and extensive surveillance, was unsealed in March 2025.

Prosecutors argue that the scope and complexity of the charges, which include tax evasion, wire fraud, and robbery, justify delaying the trial to May 5, 2026.

Big U has elected to represent himself in certain aspects of the case and has requested additional legal support, including additional attorneys, investigators, and a communications specialist.

The trial is currently scheduled to begin on May 5, 2026.

6ix9ine Proud He’s Doing Time With Nicolás Maduro & Luigi Mangione “Bout To Eat Raman”

6ix9ine is heading to federal prison tomorrow and says he’ll be bunking up with none other than Nicolás Maduro and Luigi Mangione.

Both high-profile prisoners are being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where 6ix9ine will be heading on January 6 after violating his supervised release.

The rapper, who’s no stranger to wild situations, dropped the news in a video on Monday and couldn’t help but make light of the situation.

“Guys remember when I told you I was arrested and in prison with Diddy, the president of Honduras, and Sam Bankman-Fried and you guys thought I was lying? And then it came out that the president of Honduras was like ‘He’s such a cool guy,’ I put Diddy on the phone with Akademiks. Now, I’m about to go meet the president of Venezuela,” 6ix9ine said.

“I have that luck of just being locked up with presidents. Oh, and I’m about to meet Luigi too. I’m about to play chess with them n#####, eat ramen noodles,” 6ix9ine added.

Maduro is the former Venezuelan president who was snatched up by U.S. forces in Venezuela last Saturday. He’s now facing a whole list of serious charges like narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine-importation conspiracy and weapons-related stuff.

On Monday, he pleaded not guilty and said he was still the President of a sovereign nation.

Meanwhile, Mangione is still waiting for his day in court after being accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson back in 2024.

Before getting shipped off to Fort Dix, even Diddy spent some time at MDC Brooklyn while awaiting trial. He’s now serving a 50-month sentence tied to a prostitution transport case.

6ix9ine’s sentence is only three months, but leave it to him to turn a short bid into a circus.

DaBaby Drops News Video With His Daughter & Announces New LP “Be More Grateful”

DaBaby delivered a one-two punch of music and meaning on Monday (January 5) with the announcement of his next album, Be More Grateful, and the release of his new single “Don’t Insult Me,” featuring his daughter, Twin.

Directed by Nick Mays, the music video opens with paparazzi swarming the rapper and his daughter before Twin uses her powers to push back the chaos. The scene quickly pivots from confrontation to control, setting the tone for a track that blends personal reflection with sharp lyricism.

Throughout the video, DaBaby warns people not to play with him because he’s “put that iron on a few n#####” as Twin stays by his side.

“Don’t Insult Me” marks one of the most vulnerable entries in DaBaby’s catalog. The track arrives ahead of Be More Grateful, which drops January 16. Listeners who pre-order the album will instantly receive “Don’t Insult Me” and “PBJT,” in addition to previously released tracks “Letter to My YN,” “Paper Low” and “Out Ya Business.”

The rollout began with “Letter to My YN,” a motivational anthem designed to uplift the next generation.

The Belly-inspired video, featuring DaBaby and his nephew, emphasized mentorship and the importance of avoiding destructive paths. That message continues to echo throughout the new project.

On his birthday, DaBaby dropped “Out Ya Business,” a black-and-white visual also directed by Mays.

Shot inside a school, the video focused on discipline and mental clarity, aligning with the rapper’s recent efforts to use his platform for more than just chart-toppers. Offstage, DaBaby has expanded his outreach through his nonprofit initiative, DaBaby Cares.

Launched during Suicide Prevention Month in 2024 in memory of his late brother Glenn Johnson, the program aims to tackle mental health stigma and provide resources for youth.

Its first event, held at West Charlotte High School, provided students with access to mental health resources and a Youth Mental Health 101 guide.

50 Cent Uses Nicolás Maduro’s Arrest To Troll Diddy With Slick “Oil” Joke

50 Cent has found another opportunity to target his longtime rival Diddy by using Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s recent arrest and detention at MDC Brooklyn.

The Queens rapper posted an AI-generated Instagram meme showing Maduro speaking with Diddy, with the Venezuelan leader saying “They took my oil also!” in reference to both countries’ oil-related situations.

The timing of 50 Cent’s post connects two major news stories involving the same Brooklyn detention facility where both men have been held.

Maduro was captured by US military forces in Venezuela over the weekend and transported to New York, where he now faces narco-terrorism and cocaine importation charges at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

View this post on Instagram

50 Cent captioned his Instagram post with motivational language about productivity and success, writing, “Good morning ladies and gentlemen, may today be productive and prosperous towards you and your goals. Make your enemies watch your progress repeatedly.”

The message maintains his typical approach of mixing business motivation with personal attacks against his rivals. The meme specifically references the massive quantity of baby oil that federal agents seized during raids on Diddy’s properties as part of his prosecution.

Authorities discovered over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, which prosecutors said were used during what they called “freak offs” – elaborate sexual performances that Diddy allegedly organized and participated in.

Maduro’s oil reference also connects to President Trump’s recent comments about Venezuela’s petroleum resources during a Saturday press conference at Mar-a-Lago. Donald Trump announced plans for major US oil companies to invest billions of dollars in rebuilding Venezuela’s damaged oil infrastructure following Maduro’s removal from power.

The Instagram post represents another chapter in 50 Cent’s sustained campaign against Diddy, which has intensified significantly since the Bad Boy founder’s legal troubles began.

50 Cent has consistently used social media to mock Diddy’s situation, often focusing on the baby oil seizures and other embarrassing details from the federal case. His trolling efforts expanded beyond social media when he partnered with Netflix to serve as executive producer of Sean Combs: The Reckoning, a four-part documentary series that premiered in December.

The project examines numerous allegations against Diddy throughout his career and has become a major success for the streaming platform.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence after being convicted in July on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. A Manhattan federal jury found him not guilty on more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges, but the prostitution convictions resulted in his current incarceration plus five years of supervised release.

The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn has housed several high-profile inmates, including Ghislaine Maxwell and R. Kelly, and has faced criticism for its conditions and security issues.

As for Maduro, he appeared in Manhattan federal court on Monday morning, where he pleaded not guilty to all charges and declared himself a political prisoner and still the president of Venezuela.

A$AP Rocky Dances With Winona Ryder In Funny Visual For “Punk Rocky”

A$AP Rocky launched his latest visual spectacle for the single “Punk Rocky” on Tuesday, enlisting Winona Ryder for a surreal, genre-bending music video that previews his long-anticipated fourth album DON’T BE DUMB, set to arrive January 16 via A$AP Worldwide and RCA Records.

The video, co-directed by Rocky alongside Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Becks, collectively known as The Three Musketeers, features a cast that includes Ryder, Danny Elfman, Thundercat and A$AP Nast.

The clip brings to life five of Rocky’s six alter egos from the upcoming album, including GR1M (played by Rocky), RUGAHAND (Tommy Revenge), BABUSHKA BOI (Thoto), SHIRTHEAD (the Williams twins) and DUMMY.

Ryder, who rose to fame in the late 1980s with standout roles in Beetlejuice, Heathers and Edward Scissorhands, adds a haunting presence to the video.

The two-time Academy Award nominee and Stranger Things star has long been a cult favorite for her offbeat roles and gothic screen presence, making her a natural fit for Rocky’s eccentric visual universe.

“Punk Rocky” is the first official single from DON’T BE DUMB, Rocky’s first full-length album in eight years.

The track was co-written by A$AP Rocky, Ghost, Ging and Zach Fogarty. Its gritty, lo-fi energy sets the tone for what Rocky has described as a push toward more deliberate and creative choices in both music and life.

The album’s cover art was crafted in collaboration with filmmaker Tim Burton, whose signature visual style helped bring Rocky’s six personas to life. Each character reflects a different chapter of Rocky’s career and identity.

A$AP Rocky has been teasing DON’T BE DUMB for more than two years through live performances, fashion collaborations and cryptic previews.

The album rollout follows a high-profile year for the Harlem-born artist, who served as co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala, was named creative director for Ray-Ban and became Chanel’s newest house ambassador.

He also previewed new material during headlining sets at Lollapalooza and Camp Flog Gnaw, giving audiences an early taste of the sonic direction of DON’T BE DUMB.

The album is scheduled to release January 16, 2026.

Island Boys Rapper’s Daily Fentanyl Addiction Exposed After Latest Arrest

Franky Venegas from the Island Boys got arrested on New Year’s Eve with fentanyl paraphernalia and now an acquaintance has revealed his alleged daily drug habit.

The 24-year-old TikTok star spent the first day of 2026 locked up in Collier County Jail following a traffic stop that exposed his ongoing substance abuse problems.

Deputies pulled over Venegas and driver Olivia Dubois near a Circle K gas station on State Road 29 in Naples around midnight. Officers said they observed suspicious movements by Venegas inside the black Mercedes-Benz as they approached the vehicle during a routine traffic stop.

The search of their vehicle revealed multiple items containing fentanyl residue that painted a disturbing picture of regular drug use. Deputies found a debit card with Venegas’ name that had a white powdery substance testing positive for fentanyl in the center console area.

Officers also discovered a cut straw with fentanyl residue where Venegas was sitting and a pill breaker containing the deadly synthetic opioid. The evidence suggested a pattern of frequent drug consumption rather than casual experimentation with dangerous substances.

Paris Livvy, a social media content creator who knows Venegas through influencer Jack Doherty, made shocking claims about the rapper’s drug use habits during an interview with WZVN-TV.

“They always do fentanyl like on a daily basis,” Livvy said about Venegas and his twin brother Alex. “I don’t even know how they do it.”

Livvy described Venegas as someone who became famous for being “weird” rather than talented, adding fuel to the brothers’ controversial reputation. “He’s kind of just like a joke,” she explained. “Like he kind of went famous for people being like this guy is so weird.”

The weirdest incident involving the Island Boys happened when the twin brothers posted a viral video of themselves tongue kissing each other. The controversial clip sparked massive backlash across social media platforms as fans expressed disgust over the incestuous behavior between siblings.

Franky and Alex Venegas defended the kissing video, claiming they were promoting content on their OnlyFans accounts. The brothers said the intimate moment was purely for financial gain rather than genuine romantic feelings between them.

The year 2025 proved especially difficult for both Island Boys members as their legal troubles mounted throughout the months. Franky faced his first major arrest in February 2025 during another Naples traffic stop that resulted in gun and drug charges.

Police found oxycodone pills and a spray-painted firearm without serial numbers during that February incident, leading to serious weapons charges. Franky remained out on bond for the altered firearm possession case when deputies arrested him again on New Year’s Eve.

Alex Venegas experienced his own mental health crisis in November 2025 when authorities detained him under Florida’s Baker Act. The involuntary mental health hold allows police to detain someone for 72 hours if they pose a danger to themselves or others.

The Baker Act detention happened during a livestream where Alex appeared to be having a psychotic episode that he later blamed on “multiple substances.” His brother Franky confirmed that Alex’s drug use contributed to his mental breakdown and subsequent hospitalization.

Livvy believes both brothers need professional help for their substance abuse problems rather than continued arrests and jail time.

“They’re just like not good people,” she said. “Like they’re very like crazy in real life and like they don’t really think and like definitely like I think they probably need rehab.”

Why Cardi B’s Wife Comments Have Hip-Hop Talking

Cardi B and marriage talk have collided at the exact moment Hip-Hop crowned her Rapper of the Year, and that timing is doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the rumor mill right now. The proclamation sent a few people into a mild panic, but the reality is simple. In a moment where Hip-Hop lacks true pop culture juggernauts moving serious units, Cardi stood tall while others stayed comfortable. That part is not really debatable.

Where things get sticky is not the charts or the sales but the heart. Or at least the Instagram captions. Cardi has been publicly referring to herself as a wife while very much still being legally married to Offset. No matter how you slice it, they are not together. This is not a union in spirit, energy, or reality. This is paperwork. A technicality. A lingering signature waiting to happen while lawyers circle the block.

The whispers say Offset wants his financial slice and that the divorce is not exactly friendly. That is the word on the street, not a sworn affidavit. At the same time, Cardi appears locked in with Stefon Diggs, a star receiver who comes with his own complicated headlines and a growing family tree that seems to sprout new branches every season. That is another conversation for another day and probably another headache.

What is interesting is Cardi’s framing. She is not presenting herself as single, confused or in between. She is presenting herself as a wife. That is intentional. With Diggs in football mode and Cardi clearly invested, it feels like she has already mentally walked down an aisle that the rest of us cannot see yet. Whether that aisle leads to peace or chaos is above my pay grade.

From a business standpoint, some will argue she should move differently. But Cardi has never lived her life based on focus groups or advisory boards. She moves on instinct and emotion, sometimes to brilliant effect and sometimes to public spectacle.

People are talking loudly, typing faster than thinking, and projecting their own anxieties onto her life. I will not join that choir. If she is happy, then she is winning. And in Hip-Hop, happiness might be the rarest flex of all.

MAGA Rocker Ted Nugent Calls Eminem “Total Idiot” Who Supports Jihadists

Rock guitarist Ted Nugent launched another verbal attack on Hip-Hop, this time targeting Eminem in a recent video where he called the Detroit rapper a “total idiot” over his political beliefs.

The 76-year-old rocker made the comments during his “Let’s Talk Music” video, where he regularly shares his conservative political opinions with fans.

Nugent specifically criticized Eminem and Jack White after their Thanksgiving halftime performance for the Detroit Lions, claiming both artists oppose secure borders and support transgender athletes in women’s sports.

“Eminem, the guy’s a… Both of those guys, Eminem and Jack White: total idiots,” Nugent said in the video. “They don’t want their country to have secure borders. They think men should destroy women’s sports.”

Ted Nugent continued his rant by connecting the artists’ opposition to Donald Trump with various political positions, making inflammatory claims about their stance on immigration and national security.

“When you hate Donald Trump, you want men in women’s sports to destroy women’s rights,” Nugent claimed. “That’s what these guys stand for. They don’t think our border should be secured. They think we should invite jihadists in who announce they want to kill the infidels, they announce they want to kill Americans and Jack White and Eminem say ‘bring those guys in.’ But their music is soulful.”

Despite his harsh political criticism, Nugent acknowledged both artists’ musical abilities, saying “their music is soulful” while maintaining his disagreement with their political views.

This latest outburst fits a pattern for Nugent, who has repeatedly targeted Hip-Hop artists and the genre itself with controversial statements over the years. In previous interviews and social media posts, the Michigan-born rocker has called rap music “racist” and questioned whether it should be banned, showing a consistent hostility toward the culture.

Nugent first gained fame in the 1960s as lead guitarist for the Amboy Dukes, a psychedelic rock band that scored hits with songs like “Journey to the Center of the Mind.”

He later launched a successful solo career in the 1970s with albums like Cat Scratch Fever and Free-for-All, establishing himself as a hard rock icon known for his wild stage performances and advocacy for hunting.

The guitarist also played in the supergroup Damn Yankees, which achieved commercial success in the early 1990s. However, Nugent’s musical legacy has become increasingly overshadowed by his political activism and controversial statements, particularly since becoming a vocal Trump supporter in 2016.

The rocker has consistently praised Trump as “the best President I’ve ever seen” and recently endorsed the administration’s deportation policies, calling immigration enforcement efforts “war” in media interviews.

Nugent’s political commentary has cost him concert bookings over the years and he was even officially branded a racist by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Michael B. Jordan’s Deadpan Face Becomes Instant Meme After Award Show Snub

Michael B. Jordan became the unexpected star of the 2026 Critics Choice Awards without saying a single word on stage.

The Sinners actor’s stone-faced reaction to losing Best Actor to Timothee Chalamet turned into the night’s biggest viral moment.

The cameras caught Jordan looking completely unimpressed as Chalamet delivered his emotional acceptance speech for Marty Supreme. His deadpan expression and poker-faced stare created an instant meme, with social media users losing their minds.

Fans went wild over the split-screen contrast between Jordan’s calm, almost bored expression and Chalamet’s tearful moment on stage. The visual became comedy gold as viewers watched the two actors’ completely different energy levels play out simultaneously.

Social media users described Jordan as looking “so done” and “unimpressed” throughout the acceptance speech. One viewer shared a split-screen of the moment and tweeted that the camera was on Michael B. Jordan while Chalamet thanked his partner of three years.

The Best Actor category was stacked with heavy hitters, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Joel Edgerton, Ethan Hawke, and Wagner Moura. Jordan was nominated for his dual role performance in Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which earned critical praise throughout awards season.

Despite the loss, Chalamet actually praised Jordan’s work during his speech, saying, “Michael, man, unbelievable. Just rewatched Sinners.” The compliment didn’t seem to change Jordan’s expression one bit.

Other concerned fans rushed to Jordan’s defense online, with one posting that they were ready to give him a hug if needed. Another summed up the hilariously chaotic moment by simply writing “I’m crying” in response to the viral clip.

The moment escalated when cameras captured Chalamet getting emotional about Kylie Jenner during his speech. Jordan’s unchanging facial expression throughout the entire sequence made the contrast even more dramatic for viewers watching at home.

While A24’s Marty Supreme lost the top film honor to One Battle After Another, Chalamet’s individual win still marked a major career milestone. The actor wrapped up his speech by gesturing toward Jenner and thanking “my partner of three years.”

Jordan will next appear in the highly anticipated Sinners sequel, which Warner Bros. fast-tracked following the original film’s success. The project reunites him with director Ryan Coogler for their fourth collaboration together.

Cardi B Slams Fake Rape Claim About Dad, Threatens To Expose “Real” Cases & The Barbz Lose It

Cardi B just proved once again that nobody should mess with her family after she demolished trolls spreading fake rape allegations about her father, Carlos Almanzar.

The Bronx rapper went nuclear on social media after someone shared a fabricated AI screenshot claiming her Dominican father was convicted of attempted rape in 1993 and served five years in prison. The entire story was completely made up, but that didn’t stop it from spreading across Twitter like wildfire before Cardi stepped in to set the record straight.

“First thing first, my dad never been arrested in this county.. my dad is a immigrant from the Dominican Republic.. he would be deported if he committed such a disgusting crime!!” Cardi B. fired back.

Cardi didn’t just defend her father, Carlos; she also threw some serious shade that many believe was aimed directly at Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty.

“I don’t know why yall like playing these games just for you to be fake mad when I post who got those real mugshots, real evidence, AND REAL cases for rape,” Cardi continued, emphasizing the word “real.”

That reference to “real cases for rape” appears to be a direct shot at Kenneth Petty, who was actually convicted in 1995 for the attempted rape of Jennifer Hough when both were 16 years old in 1994. Petty served over four years in prison for that conviction and is currently facing ongoing civil lawsuits from his victim.

The timing of Cardi’s clapback is especially interesting given the explosive feud that erupted between her and Nicki just a few months ago in October 2025.

That online war started when Nicki tweeted insults about Cardi’s pregnancy and album sales, leading to days of back-and-forth attacks on social media that got so nasty it even dragged their children into the beef.

Cardi’s parents have always been important figures in her life story.

Her father, Carlos Almanzar, immigrated from the Dominican Republic and worked as a taxi driver in New York, while her mother, Clara Almanzar, is from Trinidad and Tobago and worked as a cashier. The Grammy winner has frequently spoken about how her mixed Caribbean heritage shaped her identity, often switching between English and Spanish in interviews and on social media.

What made the fake allegations even more ridiculous is that Cardi pointed out the obvious flaw in the trolls’ logic – as an immigrant, her father would have been deported immediately if he had committed such a serious crime.

“Stop playing wit me and my family and leave me the fck alone fr before I start some s### today,” Cardi warned, making it clear she was ready to take action against anyone spreading lies.

Cardi didn’t hold back in calling out the “deranged” behavior of people who would weaponize rape allegations for internet drama.

“I seen yall trying to spread that s### all day yesterday… yall know I don’t play about my family, now when I start suing people then what?? What type of deranged people like to play around wit rape?” she posted.

Many fans believe the Barbz were behind the false allegations, citing the ongoing tension between the two fanbases, which has only grown since the October 2025 social media war.

Cardi has a proven track record of winning defamation lawsuits, so anyone thinking about spreading more lies about her family might want to think twice.

Trump On Military Strike Against Colombia: “Sounds Good to Me”

President Donald Trump has set his sights on Colombia as his next potential military target following the successful capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro over the weekend.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday, January 5, Trump made some crazy comments about Colombian President Gustavo Petro that sent shockwaves through diplomatic circles across Latin America.

“Colombia is very sick, too, run by a sick man, who likes making cocaine and selling it to the United States, and he’s not going to be doing it very long,” Donald Trump said during the press conference, clearly targeting Petro with his harsh criticism.

When a reporter asked directly whether the United States would pursue military action against Colombia, Trump responded without hesitation: “It sounds good to me.”

The threatening remarks came just one day after American forces successfully captured Maduro in a dramatic raid that whisked the Venezuelan leader to New York to face drug trafficking charges in federal court.

Trump had previously issued a stark warning to Petro during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago immediately following the Venezuela operation, telling reporters that the Colombian president “does have to watch his ass.”

“He’s making cocaine and they’re sending it into the United States, so he does have to watch his ass,” Trump said at the time, making clear his administration’s growing frustration with Colombia’s role in the drug trade.

The Colombian government wasted no time responding to Trump’s latest threats, with the Foreign Ministry issuing a strongly worded statement late Sunday rejecting the comments as completely unacceptable.

“It represents an undue interference in the internal affairs of the country, against the norms of international law,” the Foreign Ministry said in its official response to Trump’s military threats.

Petro, who has been a vocal critic of American foreign policy in the region, condemned the Saturday attack on Venezuela and has positioned himself as a defender of Latin American sovereignty against what he views as American imperialism.

The Colombian Foreign Ministry is expected to formally protest Trump’s threats through diplomatic channels and may seek support from other Latin American nations in condemning what they view as unacceptable interference in their internal affairs.

Orlando woman’s boyfriend gifts her $6K Chanel bag from Cruise collection. Then she unboxes it—and loses it: ‘I’m still in shock this passed quality control’

Imagine opening up a $6,000 luxury bag just to find out it’s broken. This Orlando woman and her boyfriend have some surprising post-Christmas errands to run after unwrapping this Chanel bag disaster.

Caitlyn Rose (@caitroseallday) posts a variety of luxury fashion content. Her TikTok is filled with unboxing videos of Dior, Tiffany, and especially Chanel. However, one of her latest Chanel unboxing videos took an unexpected turn and has left viewers perplexed, questioning if the item is even authentic.

‘The Weirdest Unboxing Ever’

In a video with three-minute video with 1.8 million views and 55,000 likes, Caitlyn builds up a Chanel bag reveal. “This was NOT what I expected when I opened my ‘new’ Chanel bag…” she writes in the on-screen caption. Caitlyn was gifted this $6,600 Chanel flap bag from the 2025/26 Cruise collection from her boyfriend. But some things about the bag just weren’t right.

The unboxing starts off normal. The first red flag for Caitlyn was that there was no sticker on the tissue paper. Instead, the tissue paper was just folded on top of the item. Additionally, it was strange to Caitlyn that the bag was wrapped inside the protective dust pouch. When Caitlyn finally takes the bag out of the dust pouch, she notices two even grander flaws.

“There’s a security tag stuck on it?” Caitlyn asks her boyfriend as he’s recording the unboxing.

“I don’t know?” her boyfriend responds in confusion.

“Is this a stolen purse?” she jokingly asks.

Then she notices the bag’s strap is broken.

“Um, why is it broken already? You guys, that’s not supposed to happen. Oh no, this isn’t good. I’m getting upset,” Caitlyn says.

Viewers Are Just as Confused as Caitlyn

“This is so weird. This bag doesn’t look new,” points out one viewer.

“SIX THOUSAND FOR THAT BYE,” says another.

“If that bag is new I’m Leonardo Di Caprio,” someone else says.

Chanel’s Redemption

A few days later, Caitlyn posted a video of her and her boyfriend bringing the bag into the Chanel store. The merchant reviews the bag and offers Caitlyn and her boyfriend champagne.

“They would have cut this either way, I don’t know,” the merchant says about the security alarm left on the bag, also unsure what exactly happened and why they received the bag in this condition. Caitlyn was able to exchange the bag successfully. The video goes on to show her having a shopping spree in the Chanel store. They leave after “eight glasses of champagne” and with several shopping bags from their spree.

“Girl we need the new haul!” says another comment.

Luxury Items on a Quality Decline?

Caitlyn’s experience seems to be part of a larger conversation happening lately about the quality of luxury goods. Many fashionistas are finding that the care poured into luxury bags nowadays is just not the same as before.

A New York Times opinion article called “Obscene Prices, Declining Quality: Luxury Is in a Death Spiral,” written by Katharine K. Zarrella, recounts this fashion editor’s deplorable experience with a pair of Marc Jacobs Kiki boots.

“The right heel cap fell off after a handful of wears, revealing a flimsy plastic cavern. I got it replaced, only to have a four-inch platform base snap off like a rotting tree limb days later. Timber! Two passers-by heaved me up, and I limped home, barefoot,” Zarrella remembers.

A CNN article from December 2025 showcases similar challenges people have had with items from Miu Miu and Maison Margiela, and has several fashion experts weigh in. Some experts noted that social media, which wasn’t as much of a thing in the past, has made complaints about luxury goods more visible. However, they also noted that they do believe there has been a shift to overall lower quality products.

The article cites several reasons why quality might be declining, like labor issues, cutting corners in the production phase to save time and money, and rustic trends like deconstructed seams and hems, as just some of the current fashion quality culprits.

Adin Ross Fears Joe Budden, Calls Cops

Adin Ross is the corny streamer of the year. He’s gotten a little too comfortable playing games he clearly does not want finished. If you have been watching this train wreck, you already know the pattern. Ross runs his mouth online, hides behind screens and security. What a b####!

Joe Budden openly said he hoped Glasses Malone would actually follow through on checking Ross over his repeated disrespect toward Doechii. Budden just let it fly. He basically said what a lot of people were thinking and Ross did not like it one bit. Instead of reflecting, Ross asked Joe to “pull up.”

Sounds tough, right? Except right after that, in the same sentence, he made it clear that police were with him. Yes.n He invites confrontation and in the same sentence, but says he has cops. He ain’t tough. That is pure cowardice.

He only seems powerful, bucking up when it is safe. Strip that away and what is left? Not much. And that is the problem with this entire situation. These streamers live in a digital bubble where disrespect has no immediate consequences. But Hip-Hop is not built like that.

All of this started because Black people asked Ross to stop disrespecting Doechii. Just stop, you bozo. She raps, she sings, she is dope, and whether you think she is an industry plant or an oak tree, it is not your culture to play with like that. Ross loves to remind people that he is Jewish, and nobody has an issue with that. The issue is why he feels so emboldened to test Black culture while offering nothing but antagonism in return. FOH.

Look at this and I am not cleaning the language on purpose:

What makes it worse is the entourage, specifically that Black sidekicks. AK too. The people standing next to him who should know better. In some ways, they are worse than he is. That complicity is just as nasty as the disrespect itself.

Reality will tap in with him soon. That is just how the world works.

Chelsea Handler Sparks Outrage With Racist Nicki Minaj Joke

Chelsea Handler found herself at the center of a racism controversy after making a questionable joke about Nicki Minaj during her opening monologue at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards on January 5.

The comedian and television host, who was tapped to host the 31st annual ceremony, delivered what many viewers are calling a racist comment when she said, “I haven’t been invited to a black person’s house since Sinners. Only person who has invited me is Nicki Minaj but who wants to go over there?”

The remark immediately sparked outrage on social media, with viewers accusing Chelsea Handler of making racially charged comments about the rap superstar.

“I haven’t heard the name Chelsea Handler in years. L O L Attention seekers know speaking on the queen will get them some media time. Losers,” one user fumed.”

The timing of Chelsea Handler’s comment is particularly notable given Nicki Minaj’s dramatic political transformation throughout 2025. The “Super Bass” rapper underwent a complete ideological shift, evolving from a Trump critic to becoming what many describe as a full-throated MAGA supporter.

Nicki Minaj spent years criticizing Donald Trump’s anti-immigration policies; however, 2025 marked a complete reversal as she began openly supporting Trump and JD Vance, whom she controversially called “an assassin” during a Turning Point event.

The rapper’s political evolution included appearances at conservative events alongside Erika Kirk, where she expressed anti-transgender views and praised Trump as a “role model.” The transformation has alienated many of her longtime fans while gaining her new supporters in conservative circles.

Social media erupted following Chelsea Handler’s monologue, with users calling the joke “racist,” “classless.”

Blueface’s Mom Says She Almost Had An Affair With Shaq, Who Used A Codename: “Donovan”

Blueface’s mom, Karlissa Saffold, is not playing games when it comes to people trying to act like they don’t know her and Shaquille O’Neal just found that out the hard way.

The rapper’s mother took to Instagram Stories on January 4 with a blunt threat. She wrote, “Don’t make me put you in my book now, Shaq,” followed by a laughing emoji, but nobody was really laughing because this felt like a serious warning shot.

The situation stems from claims Karlissa made about having a romantic connection with the basketball legend, and apparently, Shaq has been denying that he even knows her. That didn’t sit well with Karlissa, who decided to remind him about their alleged history in the most public way possible.

The really interesting part is that she brought up the name “Donovan” in her post, saying it was Shaq’s codename when they were supposedly talking. That’s the kind of specific detail that makes you wonder whether she’s really telling the truth about their alleged interactions.

View this post on Instagram

Karlissa also referenced a 2023 interview she did on The Jason Lee Show, in which she said she did not want Shaquille O’Neal to see her children. During that interview, she said Shaq came to her house and kept calling while she was trying to put Blueface to sleep.

“You know I don’t want him to know I got the kids, and couldn’t put him to sleep, so I just stopped answering,” she said during that interview, painting a picture of someone who was definitely in her personal space.

Now she’s basically telling Shaq that if he wants to keep playing games and acting like he doesn’t know her, she’s got receipts and she’s not afraid to use them.

The mention of “my book” suggests she might be working on some kind of tell-all project where she could spill all the tea about their alleged relationship.

Florida Quality Inn guest demands refund of 5-night stay after seeing common local bug. Then the front desk worker hangs up on her: ‘You handled that as professional as possible’

A Florida hotel employee responds to a guest who is demanding a refund of an entire five-night stay after seeing a harmless and common bug in her room. Here’s why the employee is staying firm in her decision.

TikTok creator Brittany Houston (@brittany.houston20) works overnight at a Quality Inn by Choice Hotels in Florida. She often records her side of customer phone calls to illustrate the difficulties of the job.

Late last week, she posted a video that shows her arguing with a guest who called to seek a refund for a full five-day stay because she found a bug in the room. As of this writing, the video has 2.7 million views.

“Ma’am, what we’re not about to do is yell at me,” Houston tells the woman. “I understand you’re asking for a refund, but you demanding a refund and asking for a refund are separate things. I can promise you that.”

Why Is a Quality Inn by Choice Hotels Guest Seeking a Refund?

It becomes evident that the guest is complaining about a commonly found local bug. “You do realize you’ve been in there for five days, correct?” Houston asks. “OK, and you do realize it’s Florida, correct? Ma’am, I’m just saying, you said it’s a Palmetto bug. So, a big roach is a palmetto bug. It is Florida.”

A palmetto bug is a species of cockroach that is often found in the leaves of the palm tree found across the state of Florida. Although they mostly live outside, palmetto bugs do venture indoors occasionally in search of shelter.

“If it’s still alive after all these hours, and it’s still in your room, 100% I can come kill it for you,” Houston says. “But I’m telling you right now if you keep using the language that you’re using, I will go ahead and put you on the ‘do not rent’ list.”

Viewers React to the Hotel Employee’s Palmetto Bug Customer Complaint

In the comments section, viewers offered their opinions on the palmetto bug and whether the situation warranted a refund.

“Palmetto bugs are the Florida state bird,” joked one viewer. “Born and raised Floridian here. You just gotta get used to them. Even the cleanest house will probably have a palmetto bug in it at some point.”

“Wanting a refund for a palmetto bug in Florida is like wanting one because there’s sand,” said a second person. “It’s Florida.”

A third user stated, “I love when people stand up for themselves.” However, not everyone agreed. “Girl, ain’t nobody on that dang phone,” another person wrote.

Are Palmetto Bugs Really That Big of a Deal?

In a Reddit thread posted to r/Florida two years ago, a person asked, “Why does everyone in Florida think palmettos aren’t roaches? They are literally roaches. Where are y’all getting this idea that they’re not the same?”

In response, one person said, “Palmetto bugs are a cockroach, but they are not pests. They are helpful native detritivores that keep our environment healthy by breaking down excess wood and leaves. German or American cockroaches are pests that can swarm or spread disease, as well as infest your house. Basically, if you see a palmetto bug, it probably wandered in because it’s cold. Just throw it outside.”

While palmetto bugs can be detrimental to human health, they generally aren’t an infestation risk in a home or hotel that is regularly visited by pest control, as Houston said her hotel is. In the event of an infestation, palmetto bugs can present challenges—even for pest control professionals to handle. And, yes, the Reddit user is correct that palmetto bugs are good for the environment.

50 Cent Backs Down For Once – Vows To Leave Claressa Shields Alone For Now

The Hip-Hop world witnessed something rare on Sunday evening when the king of social media trolling decided to pump the brakes on his latest target.

50 Cent has been going back and forth with boxer Claressa Shields and rapper Papoose for weeks, but now he’s calling for a timeout.

“Ok the truth is I’m a claressa shields fan, think she is an amazing fighter and she got a Big fight coming up, so I’m gonna chill and let her focus let’s go champ!,” 50 Cent posted to Instagram on Sunday evening (January 4).

The G-Unit boss rarely backs down from online beef, making this admission particularly surprising for fans who have watched the drama unfold over the past month.

View this post on Instagram

Things started heating up in December 2025 when old tensions between 50 Cent and Papoose resurfaced. The beef stems from years of back-and-forth between Pap and 50 Cent, including comments about Pap’s estranged wife, Remy Ma

By New Year’s Day 2026, the situation had exploded into a full-blown AI video war that pulled Claressa Shields directly into the crossfire.

50 Cent posted manipulated clips showing Papoose and Shields in dramatic scenes from old movies, while Papoose fired back with his own AI content depicting the G-Unit boss in feminine clothing.

Claressa Shields wasn’t having any of the disrespect and decided to set the record straight about her relationship with 50 Cent. She revealed that he paid for her flight and hotel when she attended his charity event in Shreveport, which completely contradicts his recent trolling behavior.

“You hooked me up with a flight to Shreveport and a hotel room – talk about a VIP,” Shields fired back in her own Instagram post. She also reminded everyone that 50 Cent had invited her to help with his nonprofit work for kids and that he had even performed on stage while holding her heavyweight championship belt.

When someone can prove you were showing them love behind the scenes while trolling them publicly, it makes the whole situation look fake and calculated rather than genuine.

The timing of 50 Cent’s sudden change of heart isn’t coincidental, as Claressa Shields has been preparing for one of the biggest fights of her career.

She’s scheduled to defend her undisputed heavyweight championship against Franchon Crews-Dezurn on February 22, 2026, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

‘Drunk, belligerent, fallin’ all out’: Chili’s worker calls police on ‘drunk’ mom about to drive home with 7 kids. Then he gets fired

A Florida Chili’s server (@powerupmyah) says he was fired after calling 911 on a customer he believed was about to drive drunk with seven children in her vehicle. It is a decision that has sparked debate about whether restaurant workers should face consequences for prioritizing public safety over corporate interests.

@powerupmyah tells the story across six clips.

He starts the story off saying two kids had arrived and were waiting for their parents. The parents, two women, arrive, but with five other children in tow, bringing the total to seven kids.

“I greet the table, and they begin to [start talking about] entrees. Of course, me being me, I said, ‘Hey, guys. Do you guys wanna get started off with some drinks and maybe some appetizers?’”

One of the mothers then says, “Oh, no. We need to get our order in.’”

The first complication arrives when he discovers they will want a split check. But it gets progressively worse after he comes back from his other tables.

Chili’s Customers Start to Get Rude

“Everything’s hunky dory. I swing back by the table,” he continued. “She says, ‘Aren’t these chips and salsa bottomless? Hurry up and get us some more. What are you doing? I want a chip for all of us.’”

Then even the children start to bark at him.

He asked his food runner to get the food out as quickly as possible, especially since he’s also dealing with several other tables.

At some point, the customer asked for the manager to complain about his service.

“So, as she’s over there complaining about me, of course, for God knows whatever reason,” he went on, “I’ve served her her alcoholic beverages, OK? So, she’s good and drunk. Real good intoxicated. Your girl had her a good little time at Chili’s Bar and Grill. You feel me?”

But after the complaints, the manager comped the bills and tacked on free dessert as well.

Then, things took a major turn.

‘She’s Drunk’

“So now they’re walking out, mothers yelling at the kids yet again, of course, stumbling out,” he said, noticing something troubling.

“And I said, ‘Oh, no. She’s drunk,’” he quickly assessed. “Getting behind the wheel and finna go drive sven children—seven children—home.”

“Y’all know what the DUI rate is? With seven babies?” he asked. “Oh, what else could one do? I called 911: ‘I would like to report a drunk driver that is loading her seven children up into a minivan and is about to “Hit the Road Jack.”’”

There is a major note here.

“Mind you guys, Chili’s just made us do this SafeServ alcohol training or whatnot, whatever the case may be,” he said. “And for people to sit up here, come in here, and get intoxicated and then go and drive is insanity to me.”

About making the call to the police, he said, “I don’t play those games. [They were] drunk, belligerent, falling all out.”

More on this shortly.

The Police Arrive at Chili’s

He says he provided a description of the adult customers, and the police arrived quickly. They surrounded the customers’ van in the Chili’s parking lot. This all took place around closing time.

“So then the police come in, saying, ‘Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Who called?’” he recalled. He told them that he made the call.

“So now I’m sitting here giving them the quick rundown of what happened,” he continued. “I’m like, ‘Here goes her drinks. Here goes her receipt.’ And that’s that.”

But the manager was unsure why she was not the point person.

“She sees the police is there, but they’re not talking to her,” he said, “Well, of course, love. This has nothing to do with you at this point. This is beyond you. You comped their bill. They’re out of here. They’re out of Chili’s.”

In hindsight, this action alone, his calling the police, apparently not allowing the manager to make the call, likely had its own consequences.

He says the drunk woman took a breathalyzer test, and the police allowed the two women to switch places and drive home.

The case seemed closed.

The Investigation and Termination

“So, boom. Now everything was hunky dory. She said, ‘I have to document this,” he said. “She ran around the whole entire store asking everybody what they saw. After a nice little game of telephone, ‘What did you hear? Did you hear? What did you hear?’ You know? After so many versions, then it got back to the GM.”

Eventually, he talks to the general manager about the ordeal.

“I go, ‘Hey, how are you doing? Respectfully, sir, let’s get to the point.’ I am not one of those to beat around the bush,” he recalled of the meeting.

He said the general manager called back within two to three hours. The TikToker said he saw the setup coming.

He remembered thinking: “I’m sure you’ve read plenty of documentation, and you heard from this person and that person. You know what happened. Don’t sit up here and insult my intelligence.”

He says he reiterated the fact that he did, in fact, call the police.

The general manager finally returned and fired him. But he declares, in plenty of explicatives, that he couldn’t care less.

“With that being said, that is how I got fired from bogus-[expletive] Chili’s.”

Some Points to Return

Now, this former Chili’s server’s explanation of the SafeServ training deserves some emphasis.

ServSafe Alcohol training teaches servers about their personal liability when serving alcohol. This includes criminal, civil, and administrative liability. Servers are supposed to ensure intoxicated customers get home safely and inform fellow staff that service has been stopped so they can keep the customer from driving while drunk.

In practice, this server fits in the middle ground. He, himself, acknowledges that the customer was drunk, so he actually did not stop service prior to intoxication. However, to be fair, points of intoxication vary per person and can be difficult to judge if you’re tending to other patrons.

On the flip side, he did the one thing he was trained to do: He called the police and did not assume the driver was OK to drive. What it appeared he did not do was inform his working manager of his actions for consultation before calling the police.

Let’s do a quick breakdown of the paradox in his firing:

What Chili’s requires from employees:

  • They required employees to complete SafeServe/Responsible Vendor training.
  • They learned personal liability for serving intoxicated customers.
  • They were tasked with understanding the duty to prevent drunk driving.

What Chili’s effectively punished:

  • Actually applying that training.
  • Taking action to prevent a woman from driving drunk with seven kids in the van.
  • Calling the police, as the training suggested.

Even though he was a little petty, he showed genuine concern for the safety of the seven children. The training prepared him for this specific responsibility, but his management team punished him for exercising it.

Had he allowed them to leave unabated, and they were in a drunk driving accident, he could have been held personally (and criminally) liable.

A Similar Story

Over a decade ago, in 2013, Twyla DeVito, a bartender at the American Legion Post in Shelby, Ohio, was fired after calling police to report a regular patron who drove away intoxicated. The patron was found with a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit in the state. Two days after the patron’s arrest, her commander told her she was “bad for business” and fired her, according to ABC News.

But like the server in this story, DeVito told ABC News she had no regrets: “If he had gotten in a wreck, that would have been on me, because I was on my shift. It was in a lose-lose situation. I choose to possibly save a life.”

One commenter noted, “You also saved Chili’s millions in lawsuits because if that lady would’ve gotten into an accident, that whole store would’ve been sued for even letting her drive. That’s why bartenders are required to cut you off if they notice that you’re overly intoxicated.”

Another person replied that it was likely why the manager let him go. “That’s why they fired him!” she wrote. “They didn’t want him knowing this information. I’m sure he [could] sue for false termination and get that money!!!!!”

The prevailing belief in the comments section was that he acted reasonably and rationally. “You ain’t wrong,” one person said. “You would have felt horrible if you didn’t call! I love that you did what you felt was necessary.”
