‘Kobalt’s owned by Lowe’s’: Alabama man buys Lowe’s drill with five year warranty. Then he tries to redeem it

Birmingham metro area Realtor Paul Decarlo (@soldbydecarlo) recently posted a TikTok video detailing his disappointment with his inability to obtain a new drill due to Lowe’s warranty policy.

“Well, I’m disappointed at Lowe’s,” Decarlo starts. “People, you need to keep your receipts because the Kobalt brand, which is a Lowe’s brand—Kobalt’s owned by Lowe’s—has a 5-year warranty on the tool, [3-year warranty] on the battery.”

Decarlo explains, “I’ve got this Kobalt drill with the date, serial number, and so forth. And they’re able to identify the store that was purchased in, where it was purchased, and it is [within the warranty] period. But it is not accepted without a receipt at Lowe’s, unfortunately.”

Lowe’s Warranty Policy Requires Paper Receipts?

Of course, keeping track of paper receipts is a job in itself. One person in the comments joked, “Oh, you mean that paper with the disappearing ink??” Others noted that using the app or store card might have saved this information.

“If you use My Lowe’s or Lowe’s credit card you don’t need a receipt,” said one commenter. “That’s why you use the app, it keeps track of all your purchases,” commented another. “Also if you link your credit card to your email, you will always get an email receipt if you choose both physical and digital receipt.”

One person recommended taking the extra step. “This is why you register it and upload your receipt online with Kobalt,” they said.

Valid Proof of Purchase

A rundown of the process is relatively straightforward. At some point, Decarlo purchased the Kobalt 24-volt 1/2-in. Keyless Brushless Cordless Drill, along with the battery and soft bag, at a Lowe’s in Hoover, AL. The items came with the warranty.

According to Lowe’s warranty policy, it will replace drills that meet this criteria for free. But here’s the caveat: You need a valid proof of purchase, i.e. a receipt. As commenters noted, there are several ways of maintaining your receipts digitally.

On some message boards, customers recall the company once employed a “no questions asked” policy, which ended around 2019. Decarlo and other consumers think requiring a physical receipt for warranty claims is extremely petty and unnecessary. Especially since Lowe’s can verify all purchases digitally. It presents a clear gap that frustrates customers and contradicts the brand’s alleged “hassle-free” warranty marketing.

Cardi B Accuses Ice Spice Of Leaking Explosive Phone Call As Manager Denies Involvement

Cardi B accused Ice Spice of leaking a recorded phone call that captured the Bronx rapper threatening violence.

In the audio clip, Cardi is heard yelling at James Rosemond Jr.—Ice Spice’s manager—during a three-way call, threatening to put hands on the 25-year-old rapper.

Her voice is unmistakable as she shouts, “I’ma show y’all! I’m not Latto! I’ma beat her the f### up! I’ma knock her the f### out! All y’all! I’ma beat her ass.”

The confrontation appears to trace back to July 2024, when Ice Spice dropped her debut album Y2K.

One track, “BB Belt,” sparked speculation that it contained subliminal jabs at Cardi. Tensions simmered until the leaked call poured gasoline on the situation.

Cardi didn’t wait long to confront Rosemond Jr. publicly. Taking to X, she posted, “But wait James… cuz I just know you didn’t only record the beginning of that conversation,” before urging him to “post the whole 11 minute convo when Ice Spice said she was in her feelings all because I said Sexyy deserved a BET Award.”

Rosemond Jr. quickly fired back, denying any role in recording or releasing the call. “I did not record or leak that call,” he wrote. “You hear me on speaker w/ ur manager Tubby who called me with you on three way & u can literally hear that in the clip. The audio didn’t come from me.”

He added, “I respect private conversations & I’m not in the business of leaking anything.”

Cardi wasn’t buying it. “James be foreal and be a man I was in my bedroom by myself… it was only you me and tubby on the call.. so you saying it was tubby??”

She also pointed the finger directly at Ice Spice, writing, “Your artist put a laughing emoji then leaked the convo then posted a trash ass clip of her song in less than a hour.”

The Bronx-born rapper’s frustration comes just weeks after her album Am I The Drama? topped the Billboard 200 and reignited her long-running feud with Nicki Minaj.

Cardi B Accuses Ice Spice Of Using Drama To Promo Upcoming Single

The timing of the leak didn’t go unnoticed by Cardi, who suggested the drama was being used to promote Ice Spice’s music.

Rosemond Jr. pushed back on that idea, accusing Cardi of manipulating the moment. “Your artist new song is not charting anywhere.. What can you possibly do for my rollout?? The gaslighting is insane,” he said.

Ice Spice, for her part, has stayed mostly quiet. She posted a laughing emoji on social media, then teased a new track titled “Pretty Privilege.”

In the snippet, she raps, “She might talk s### on the ‘gram, but she won’t talk it to my face,” a line many believe is aimed at Cardi.

The leaked call also dragged in other names, including Latto. Cardi, in the heat of the moment, said she’s not like “p####-ass Latto.”

She later apologized, writing, “I was ranting and hot at the moment but I fck with Latto HEAVY!!”

Despite the back-and-forth, Ice Spice has not made any official statement about the audio or Cardi’s accusations.

Why Damon Dash’s $25M Bankruptcy Might Not Save His Films

Damon Dash is under renewed legal pressure in Florida as an attorney representing filmmaker Josh Webber urges a federal judge to approve the auction of Dash’s business holdings, despite his Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing.

Christopher Brown, Webber’s lawyer, filed court documents arguing that Dash’s bankruptcy does not protect him from debts tied to defamation and other intentional misconduct. Brown also claims Dash continues to portray himself as financially stable in public, while failing to pay court-ordered damages.

“The bankruptcy filing only covers his personal property,” Brown wrote. “It does not impact the assets of Poppington LLC, which remain subject to auction.”

The conflict stems from a long-running dispute over the film Dear Frank, which Webber produced and Dash was originally hired to direct. Webber and his company, Muddy Waters Pictures, removed Dash from the project, accusing him of being intoxicated and unprofessional on set.

Dash later rebranded the film as The List and attempted to sell it to networks, prompting Webber to sue for defamation and copyright infringement. A jury awarded Webber more than $800,000 in damages.

Brown then moved to seize Dash’s business interests, including Poppington LLC, and requested that a U.S. Marshal oversee their public sale.

Podcast Comments Lead to $4 Million Judgment

The legal fight escalated in March 2024 after Dash appeared on the Earn Your Leisure podcast and accused Webber of stealing the film. According to court filings, Dash’s remarks allegedly cost Webber a $4 million deal with a film distributor.

Webber filed a new defamation suit and secured a $4 million default judgment after Dash missed court deadlines and failed to attend mediation.

Bankruptcy Filing Sparks More Questions Than Answers

Earlier this month, Dash filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Florida, listing less than $5,000 in assets—including a $500 phone, $2,500 in jewelry and $100 in cash. His filing also shows over $25 million in liabilities, including $8.7 million owed to the IRS and New York State, nearly $650,000 in unpaid child and spousal support, and more than $5.5 million in unsecured legal claims.

Brown argues that Dash failed to disclose valuable assets, including intellectual property and his life rights, which could be sold to repay creditors. Brown also pointed to Dash’s public statements, including a September 2025 interview on The Breakfast Club, where Dash claimed he had $5 million in the bank, a Sony Music deal for his group “Black Guns,” and a book contract.

Judge to Decide on Poppington Auction

Federal Judge Robert Lehrburger is reviewing whether the auction of Poppington LLC’s catalog—including films like Honor Up and Too Honorable—can move forward. Brown noted that Dash has not filed any legal motion to stop the sale and blamed Dash’s own legal maneuvers for delays.

In 2024, Dash’s one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella Records was auctioned for about $1 million to cover tax debts and support payments. The court has already approved the sale of Dash’s film studio and streaming platform. A decision on the Poppington assets is expected soon.

Young Thug Drops Shocking Admission About His Oral Hygiene Routine

Young Thug stunned viewers during a surprise appearance on Adin Ross’ livestream Tuesday night (September 30) by admitting he brushes his teeth just once a week while trying out breath-freshening candy.

The Atlanta rapper popped up unexpectedly on Ross’ Kick stream with a jaw-dropping hygiene confession that left the host visibly confused.

“How often you brush your teeth?” Ross asked while handing Young Thug a piece of candy, claiming it helped with bad breath.

“Once a week. What the f### you mean?” Thug replied without hesitation.

Ross, clearly taken aback, asked him how often he thought people should brush, prompting Thug to respond, “How often you supposed to brush them?”

Ross offered his own take, admitting, “I only brush my teeth once a day. I’m being real. Twice a day is a waste. You wake up that morning. No point in doing that at night.”

The exchange quickly made the rounds on social media, where users were baffled and amused in equal measure.

“Generational Fall off rn,” one person wrote.

“Once a week is diabolical,” another added.

One user accused Thug of trolling for attention: “Rage bait, race bait, stupid bait, nasty bait he doesn’t care he just wants engagement and attention.”

The livestream had originally been teased as Thug’s first full interview since his release from jail, with Ross announcing the event would stream on Kick on September 7.

But the plan shifted after Thug requested that Atlanta media personality Big Bank release their pre-recorded interview first, which addressed several of the controversies surrounding him.

Still, the two stayed in touch, and Thug eventually made his appearance on the September 30 stream.

During the brief cameo, Thug also voiced support for Sean “Diddy” Combs, saying, “Free Diddy. I overly love him. Love OG. Praying for your freedom every day.”

GloRilla Breaks Silence On Arrest After Violent Home Invasion: “We Were Victims”

GloRilla called out Georgia law enforcement Tuesday (September 30), after she was arrested in July on felony drug charges, insisting she and her family were victims of a terrifying home invasion—not suspects.

The Memphis-born rapper was out of town performing in Indianapolis during WNBA All-Star Weekend when three armed men broke into her Forsyth County home in the middle of the night.

A family member fired shots at the intruders, who fled before deputies arrived.

“I feel like me, and my brother and sister, we were victims in this situation,” GloRilla said in an interview with WSB-TV’s Michael Seiden. “But somehow, they’re trying to paint us out to be suspects, and I just feel like it’s all the way wrong.”

According to her legal team, more than $700,000 worth of property was stolen during the break-in.

But instead of focusing on the robbery, authorities arrested the 26-year-old rapper after discovering what court records describe as a large quantity of marijuana inside the home.

“Over $700,000 of items were stolen from her home,” said her attorney, Drew Findling. “So her brother and sister naturally called the police when this was all going on.”

GloRilla turned herself in and was released on bond the same day. Her legal team has since blasted the investigation, saying it prioritized drug charges over solving the violent crime.

“The most egregious part is that there seems to be no movement whatsoever in this home invasion, but rather, within 24 hours, there were warrants for her arrest for a marijuana possession case. That’s unconscionable,” Findling said.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office initially labeled GloRilla and her family as victims in a July statement, promising to pursue justice.

But with little progress, GloRilla and her attorneys are now weighing the option of launching their own investigation.

Cardi B Publicly Apologizes To Latto After Dissing Her In Heated Phone Call

Cardi B issued a public apology to Latto on Monday (September 30), after a leaked phone call with Ice Spice’s manager went viral and exposed the Bronx rapper calling Latto “p####” and threatening violence.

The audio, which surfaced online hours earlier, captured Cardi in a tense conversation with James Rosemond Jr., Ice Spice’s manager.

During the call, Cardi threw shade at Latto, accusing her of being scared to confront Ice Spice.

“Why you want to act dumb?” Cardi said in the recording. “I’m not Latto! I’m a beat her the f### up! I’ma knock her the f### out!”

The backlash online was immediate, forcing Cardi to clarify her comments and publicly apologize to Latto on social media.

“I was ranting and hot at the moment but I fck with Latto HEAVY,” Cardi wrote. “I respect everything about her including her team thats so sweet.. AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her a bag.”

The apology came just days after the two dropped the “Errtime (Remix)” on September 24, part of the deluxe version of Cardi’s album Am I The Drama?

Latto Addresses Cardi B Relationship

It marked their second collaboration following their successful track “Put It On Da Floor Again.”

Latto, who had to record and submit her verse within 24 hours to meet the album deadline, hasn’t publicly responded to Cardi’s apology.

But earlier this week, she told TMZ she wasn’t worried about catching any lyrical strays from Cardi.

“Me and Cardi locked in,” she said, adding that other girls should be “scared.”

Cardi also accused Ice Spice of using the moment to promote her upcoming single. She pointed out that Ice Spice posted a laughing emoji shortly after the call leaked, then teased her track “Pretty Privilege.”

The drama adds to a growing list of public feuds in Hip-Hop, particularly among women in the genre.

Cardi is also currently reigniting her long-standing beef with Nicki Minaj, which flared up again this week

Young Thug Prays For Diddy’s Release While Making Crude Baby Oil Gesture On Stream

Young Thug raised eyebrows Tuesday night (September 30) after bizarre baby oil antics and an unexpected show of support for Diddy during a livestream on Adin Ross’s Kick channel, just days before the music mogul’s sentencing on federal charges.

“What the f### you doing with that? Whoa,” Ross shouted as Thug approached him, holding the bottle while making a suggestive motion. “No baby oil in here, bro!”

When pressed about the odd gesture, Thug responded without hesitation: “Free the OG Diddy. Free the OG. For sure. That’s my OG.”

Ross then speculated that Diddy could be released after his sentencing on October 3. Thug replied, “Praying for him to get out.”

The moment quickly exploded across social media, with viewers confused by Thug’s stance.

One person posted, “Oh nah That jail really did sum to him.” Another wrote, “Why do all washed rappers transition to diddy supporters and baby oil jokes.” A third added, “he’s been on a the wildest run of L’s recently. Where is his PR team???”

The livestream appearance came just months after Young Thug resolved his own high-profile legal case.

In October 2024, he pleaded guilty to gang, drug and firearm charges tied to Atlanta’s YSL RICO investigation. The 34-year-old rapper had been behind bars for nearly two years before being sentenced to time served and 15 years of probation.

Diddy, 55, is currently awaiting sentencing after being convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution.

Federal prosecutors are pushing for an 11-year, 3-month sentence, while his legal team is requesting no more than 14 months. A judge recently rejected Diddy’s last-ditch attempt to dismiss the remaining charges.

‘Help Me’: Man’s Wife Taps On Glass While He’s Parked Late-Night At Shell Station, Then He calls Her To Confirm She’s Home

A content creator on TikTok recently exposed a creepy clip that’s gone viral on the internet. The original creator said it was the “scariest moment of his life,” according to @Dg_horror, who posted to his platform in a video with 2.5 million views.

In the video, @Dg_horror recounts a man’s experience driving home late. The man stopped off at a gas station to fill up and grab some breakfast items. A woman walked “right up” to the man’s car, looking nearly identical to his wife. The only thing was that his wife was at home at the time and had no reason to be at the gas station that late at night.

The woman started tapping on his window, asking him if he could unlock his door.

“For a second, he thought he might be losing it,” @Dg_horror said. That’s when he pulled out his phone to document the occurrence. He started his car and left the gas station, driving home at that point. When he got there, he showed the video to his wife, who was “stunned.” She had been home the entire time.

Was this a supernatural occurrence?

Commenters immediately focused their attention on the story, saying that it’s a possible supernatural occurrence. Some commenters referenced religious entities, while others said the incident had to have been an unknown supernatural force.

Mimics are often seen in fictional worlds, but some paranormal phenomena enthusiasts believe that they’re real, visible beings that “replace the voices of loved ones to lure victims.” They’re not inherently demonic, but they can sometimes be malevolent.

“The entities typically target isolated individuals and exploit emotional vulnerabilities through their voice mimicry abilities,” the blog reads.

Or is the explanation more sinister?

Other people thought that the incident read as something demonic. There’s a chance that the occurrence matches what is described in Christian dogma, a “familiar spirit.” As Sister Hub blog says:

“Demons have been around for a long time. They observe families and individuals over many years, which allows them to learn details about people’s lives. By using this knowledge, demons can impersonate deceased family members with alarming accuracy.”

While the blog describes these incidents of mimicry with deceased family members, it’s one supernatural explanation for what @Dg_horror described. Demons are “tempters, mischief-makers, and agents of chaos” that lead individuals to “moral downfall.” A woman who eerily looks like a familiar face or a spouse can be a lure.

@Dg_horror did not mention the original content creator, so it’s difficult to verify the validity of his claims. We’ve reached out to him via TikTok direct message to learn more about the original content creator and context of the first video.

Nicki Minaj & Cardi B’s Feud Explodes: Kids, Lawsuit Threats & Personal Attacks Fly Online

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B turned Twitter into a battlefield late Tuesday night (September 30) as their long-running feud reached a disturbing new level, dragging their children into the chaos.

The online clash reignited earlier in the day after Minaj questioned the legitimacy of Cardi’s album success.

What started as a jab quickly spiraled into a scorched-earth exchange that lasted into the early hours of Wednesday (October 1).

Minaj took aim at Cardi’s past comments about infertility, calling them offensive and threatening to sue.

Cardi fired back, “Girl it’s YOUR SON BIRTHDAY why are you on twitter dedicating essays to me??? For the love of god go to chuckie cheese.”

Minaj then referenced the notorious 2018 New York Fashion Week incident, claiming Cardi B suffers “seizures from the knot.”

She also accused Cardi’s upcoming project of being cursed, saying it “has been dipped in evil spirits & their sole purpose is to unleash the spirit of drama in your lives.”

Things got uglier when Minaj referenced Cardi’s daughter, tweeting “Barney B & kulture vulture” and “Kulture vulture you ugly too.”

Minaj followed up with a direct challenge: “Do something. We in NEW YORK. HEAVY ON IT.”

Cardi B Fires Back At Nicki Minaj With Shocking Allegations

Cardi denied having seizures and accused Minaj of drug use. “You haven’t even cut your f##### kid cake.. my god it’s 6 o clock in LA. You must’ve took your first line of the day,” she wrote.

The Bronx rapper then warned Minaj to back off her children. “Let this be the LAST TIME you mention my kids before I spill the tea on yours while you talkin about ABC’s!! You gon leave me TF alone today ho I’m sick of you b####!!”

Cardi escalated the personal attacks, writing, “Your daddy was a crackhead and your brother was raping his stepchild. You got medical records on me??? Post them b####!!!”

She also hit back at Minaj’s insult toward her daughter by dragging Minaj’s son into the fray. “Your hate is so deep dark and nasty because your son nonverbal cuz you f##### him up wit them drugs so you jealous of everybody kids and their happiness!!! B#### WHERE TF YOU AT STOP TALKING.”

Minaj responded with: “Cokey B PLS DONT SNIFF COKE WITH BABY #4/5. Word to Carlos.”

The insults didn’t stop there. Cardi challenged Minaj to a real-life confrontation. “DROP THE ADDY RIGHT NOW!!!! And don’t go tagging the feds and the police like you did 3 months ago.”

Minaj claimed Cardi’s team had previously begged her to collaborate. “Had the whole label fly out to CALI to BEG ME TO DO A JOINT TOUR & ALBUM WITH HER. I don’t wanna have to drop that RECORDED call. That’s why all the sabotage on my tour.”

Minaj also addressed Cardi’s police accusations. “Memba yall called cops on us last time? Made them tell us we had to leave NY b/c you & your man was afraid for yall lives???? Nah hoe. Drop the receipts. BARNEY B!!!!! You’ll be eating out the garbage cans of the Bronx in the name of JESUS. SOON.”

Cardi denied ever calling the cops and claimed Minaj’s husband was the one who violated probation. “Your dumb ass bum ass man went online talkin s### and doing threats while he was on probation DUMMY!!”

Cassie Ventura Says Diddy Hasn’t Changed At All In Chilling Letter To Judge

Cassie Called Diddy “Cruel” And Warned Of Retaliation Ahead Of Sentencing

Cassie Warned Judge of Diddy’s Alleged Threats

Cassie told a New York federal judge she fears Sean “Diddy” Combs will retaliate against her and others who testified if he avoids prison. In a victim impact statement submitted Monday, the R&B; singer said she remains afraid of what Combs might do following his conviction on federal prostitution-related charges.

“I am so scared that if he walks free, his first actions will be swift retribution towards me and others who spoke up about his abuse at trial,” she wrote in the letter to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian. “As much progress as I have made in recovering from his abuse, I remain very much afraid of what he is capable of and the malice he undoubtedly harbors towards me for having the bravery to tell the truth.”

Diddy Convicted of Federal Charges

Combs, 54, was found guilty in July of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution. He was cleared of more severe charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. His sentencing is scheduled for Friday in Manhattan federal court.

Cassie testified during the trial, describing an 11-year relationship she said was marked by abuse and control. She asked the judge to consider her experience when determining Combs’ punishment.

“I urge you to sentence Mr. Combs in a way that reflects the reality of the evidence and my lived experience as a victim,” she wrote.

Cassie Relocated Over Safety Concerns

In her letter, Cassie revealed she and her family moved out of New York due to safety concerns stemming from her testimony.

“We moved because I am worried that he or his associates will come after [us],” she wrote.

Cassie and Combs were in an on-again, off-again relationship from 2007 to 2018. She is now married to actor and trainer Alex Fine. The couple has three children, and she was eight months pregnant with their son when she testified.

Cassie Rejected Claims That Combs Has Changed

Responding to the defense’s argument that Combs has changed, Cassie pushed back hard.

“He will always be the same cruel, power-hungry, manipulative man that he is,” she wrote. “My experience was real, horrific and deserves to be considered.”

She called Combs “the manipulator, the aggressor, the abuser, the trafficker” and said he has “no interest in changing or becoming better.”

Combs’ sentencing is set for Friday in New York federal court.

Tyrese Gibson Addresses Dog Attack That Sparked Arrest Warrant

Tyrese Gibson is pushing back against claims he’s avoiding law enforcement after his Cane Corsos allegedly killed a neighbor’s dog in Atlanta. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for the actor and singer, who now faces an animal cruelty charge tied to the September 18 incident.

Authorities say Gibson’s four large dogs were seen on surveillance video roaming the neighborhood and scratching at a neighbor’s door shortly before attacking and killing a five-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Henry.

Repeated Complaints Before the Incident

Fulton County Police Animal Services reported they had received five complaints about Gibson’s dogs in the 10 days leading up to the fatal mauling. Officials say they had warned the entertainer multiple times about allowing his dogs to roam freely.

“It is the negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free,” said Captain Nicole Dwyer. “And now they have killed an innocent animal.”

Gibson initially agreed to surrender the dogs on September 22 but allegedly requested more time when officers arrived. When authorities returned with a search warrant, neither Gibson nor the animals were at the property.

Tyrese Responds From Los Angeles

Through a statement shared by Loren Lorosa on The Breakfast Club, Gibson denied he’s dodging authorities and said he’s currently in Los Angeles with his family and legal team.

“Tyrese wants everyone to know he is not on the run,” his reps said. “He says he’s in LA with his family and his attorneys are working to figure this all out. Tyrese says — if there was a demand for him to turn himself in on a certain day / time he would but he claims that’s not the case.”

Gibson’s attorneys confirmed he wasn’t in Atlanta when the attack occurred but said he accepts full responsibility for the actions of his dogs.

“Mr. Tyrese Gibson wishes to extend his deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog in this tragic incident,” the statement read. “His heart is truly broken, and he has been praying for the family constantly, hoping they may one day find it in their hearts to forgive him.”

The legal team added that Gibson took swift action once he learned of the incident.

“Mr. Gibson was out of town when the incident occurred, but he accepts full responsibility for his dogs,” the statement continued. “As soon as he learned what had happened, he immediately made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome his two adult dogs and their three puppies in safe and loving homes. The liability of keeping them was simply too great, and his heart could not bear the thought of anything like this ever happening again.”

The arrest warrant for Gibson remains active as of Monday.

Damon Dash Blames These Two People For His Financial Ruin

Damon Dash has issued a $100 million demand letter targeting attorney Christopher Brown and Claudia Jordan, accusing them of conspiring to damage his reputation and strip him of control over the film The List, formerly known as Dear Frank.

The Hip-Hop mogul alleges the pair, along with others, engaged in fraud, defamation and interference that led to his financial collapse. Dash claims their actions were part of a coordinated effort to seize ownership of the movie and push him out of the entertainment industry.

Dash’s demand letter outlines plans to file a civil RICO lawsuit, citing perjury, false claims and online defamation. He says the fallout from their alleged actions contributed directly to his bankruptcy, which currently lists over $25 million in liabilities and less than $5,000 in assets.

The conflict stems from a long-standing legal feud between Dash and Brown, who represented filmmaker Josh Webber in a copyright lawsuit. Webber was awarded $805,000 after a jury found Dash infringed on the film’s rights by claiming ownership.

Brown also filed a defamation suit against Dash in 2020, accusing him of making damaging public statements. In that case, Dash allegedly called Brown a “lawyer that made a living helping bad people steal money.” The lawsuit was initially filed in Massachusetts before being moved to California, where it remains active.

Claudia Jordan Accused of False Testimony

Dash also named Claudia Jordan in the letter, accusing her of giving misleading testimony and making public statements that painted him in a negative light. Jordan previously alleged that Dash acted inappropriately on set, a claim he denies. Dash insists his conduct was professional and focused on helping her prepare for the role.

According to Dash, the accusations were part of a broader plan to discredit him and gain control of the film. He believes the legal attacks were designed to drain his resources and remove him from the creative process.

Dash Pushes Back Amid Bankruptcy

Despite his financial and legal troubles, Dash continues to speak out. He has accused Brown of manipulating the legal system to extort him and has repeatedly challenged the legitimacy of the lawsuits filed against him.

The $100 million demand letter marks Dash’s latest move to regain his footing in the industry and reclaim control of his work. The dispute remains ongoing, with the defamation case still active in California as of 2020.

Kendrick Lamar’s Bogotá Show Was Doomed By One Critical Issue

Stage Setup and Permits Forced Last-Minute Cancellation

Kendrick Lamar called off his Bogotá concert Saturday (September 27) just hours before showtime after safety concerns and permit issues halted the event. Despite online claims that low ticket sales led to the cancellation, sources confirmed the show was nearly sold out, with only 2% of seats unsold.

Lamar’s team cited “stage issues and permit issues” as the reason for pulling the plug, noting the venue did not approve the use of pyrotechnics. “The show tonight was close to selling out before the show began,” a source posted.

Local Officials Raised Red Flags About Venue Safety

Bogotá city councilman José Cuesta Novoa publicly criticized the venue, warning about its condition days before the concert. “We mentioned this at the Public Audience against noise,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “This venue has structural and technical failures in its construction. I asked the mayor @carlosfgalan for the immediate closure of this venue.”

Local media reported that engineers flagged the aluminum stage structures during a safety inspection. The venue reportedly denied Lamar’s request to use fireworks, further complicating the production.

Technical Glitches and Long Lines Added to the Chaos

Unconfirmed reports also pointed to malfunctioning ticket scanners and long entry lines, though the main issues remained tied to the venue’s infrastructure and lack of permits. The concert was part of Lamar’s Latin America leg of the “GNX” tour, which launched in Mexico and was set to continue in Brazil.

Bogotá Left Waiting as Tour Moves On

There’s no official word yet on whether Bogotá will get a rescheduled date. Lamar continues his tour with upcoming shows in Brazil before heading to Australia later this year.

EXCLUSIVE: Diddy Allowed To Wear Slacks, Sweater & Shoes With No Laces At Sentencing

Diddy will be allowed to wear slacks, a sweater and lace-free shoes when he appears for sentencing on October 3, 2025—a rare courtroom privilege.

Federal Judge Arun Subramanian approved the request for Diddy to wear non-prison clothing, including a button-down shirt and pants, during the high-profile hearing. Diddy was convicted in July on two federal counts of transporting individuals for prostitution under the Mann Act.

He was acquitted of more severe charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking. His legal team attempted to overturn the convictions, arguing that the law had been misapplied.

They claimed the Mann Act, which was initially enacted to target pimps and traffickers, does not apply to Diddy’s alleged conduct.

His attorneys maintained he was not a trafficker; he was an amateur pornographer. Judge Arun Subramanian disagreed on Tuesday (September 30).

“To any modern reader, the plain meaning of prostitution is sex for sale. Every modern dictionary the Court consulted says the same thing,” Judge Subramanian wrote in a blistering opinion. “What happened in this case was transportation for prostitution even under Combs’s understanding of the term: Combs transported the escorts (who were financially motivated) and intended for them to engage in prostitution.”

Prosecutors are seeking a sentence of 11 years and 3 months, citing what they describe as violent and coercive behavior. Prosecutors allege Diddy used threats and intimidation against women and showed no remorse.

They are also pushing for the maximum allowable fine, arguing that his wealth and influence should not shield him from full accountability. Prosecutors said the evidence showed “a pattern of abuse” and that Diddy “has not accepted responsibility for his actions.”

Meanwhile, Diddy’s defense team is asking for a drastically reduced sentence. They argue he has already served the equivalent of 14 months in pretrial detention since September 2024.

They are requesting home confinement instead of additional prison time, citing his lack of prior convictions and the nature of the charges for which he was acquitted.

Judge Subramanian has denied bail several times, citing public safety concerns and the seriousness of the charges.

Diddy’s Thing For Men’s Bodily Fluid Ruins His Push For Freedom As New York Judge Refuses To Overturn Convictions

Diddy took a major L in Manhattan federal court Tuesday after a judge shot down his attempt to get two prostitution-related convictions tossed—leaving him stuck with a sentencing date this Friday on serious Mann Act charges.

The 55-year-old Hip-Hop boss was convicted in July for flying male escorts across state lines to hook up with his exes.

That move violated the Mann Act, a century-old law meant to stop sex trafficking. Diddy’s legal squad tried to argue the whole thing was way overblown and basically about some wild “freak offs” between consenting adults.

“This is wildly out of proportion to the conduct at issue—threesomes where fully competent adult men and women voluntarily crossed state lines and had consensual sex with each other, and the defendant made no money from the conduct,” his lawyers wrote. “We are unaware of any other Mann Act prosecution based on such conduct.”

Judge Arun Subramanian wasn’t buying any of it. He clapped back with a no-nonsense ruling, saying the whole thing still fell under prostitution—even if Diddy wasn’t pocketing cash from it.

“To any modern reader, the plain meaning of prostitution is sex for sale. Every modern dictionary the Court consulted says the same thing,” the judge said. “What happened in this case was transportation for prostitution even under Combs’s understanding of the term: Combs transported the escorts (who were financially motivated) and intended for them to engage in prostitution.”

Diddy beat the bigger charges like sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, which could’ve landed him a life sentence. Still, those two Mann Act hits could cost him up to 20 years behind bars.

His defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro tried to paint him as a voyeur who liked filming his wild sex life, saying it was all covered by the First Amendment. But prosecutors weren’t going for that either. They said he paid his exes back for setting up the sex sessions, making him legally responsible.

The court testimony got graphic fast. Cassie, Jane Doe and other women told the court Diddy bankrolled the hookups and was way more than just a spectator.

Judge Subramanian broke it down in brutal detail: “Evidence at trial showed that when Combs filmed, he didn’t typically give notice ahead of time or ask for consent, as a film producer would; and that he masturbated, suggesting that the purpose was his immediate sexual gratification.”

It didn’t stop there. The judge added, “The evidence showed that Combs ‘and the escort would both … have intercourse’ with Ventura at the same time. And after Ventura or Jane finished having sex with an escort, Combs would have sex with Ventura or Jane, often while the escort’s semen was still on their body. At other times, Ventura would ‘put [the men’s] semen on [Combs], usually on his chest, on his nipples.’”

Yeah. That’s in the official court opinion.

With the judge locking in the convictions, federal prosecutors are now pushing hard for 11 years and 3 months behind bars, plus the biggest fine allowed. They say Diddy used threats and fear tactics and hasn’t shown the slightest bit of remorse.

They also told the court he’s “not accepted responsibility for his actions” and has a “pattern of abuse.”

On the flip side, Diddy’s lawyers are asking for a much lighter sentence. They claim he’s already served the equivalent of 14 months in pretrial lockup and want him to do the rest on house arrest. They also brought up his clean criminal record and the fact that he beat the more serious charges.

Judge Subramanian has denied him bail more than once, pointing to the seriousness of the case and concerns over public safety

FBI’s Kash Patel Slammed Assata Shakur Tributes As Disrespectful To Police

Kash Patel Slammed Assata Shakur Tributes as Disrespectful to Fallen Police

Patel Condemns Public Praise for Shakur After Her Death in Cuba

Kash Patel criticized online tributes to Assata Shakur following her death in Havana last week, calling the praise an insult to law enforcement and the memory of slain New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster.

“Joanne Chesimard didn’t ‘fight for justice.’ She murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster in cold blood then fled to Cuba to escape accountability. The FBI never stopped calling her what she was: a terrorist,” Patel wrote on X. “Mourning her is spitting on the badge and the blood of every cop who gave their life in service.”

Patel, 45, a former federal prosecutor and Trump administration official, currently serves as FBI Director under former President Donald Trump.

Shakur’s History and Criminal Conviction

Shakur, born Joanne Chesimard, was a member of the Black Liberation Army and the godmother of Tupac Shakur. She was convicted in 1973 of killing Foerster during a traffic stop on the New Jersey Turnpike. After escaping prison in 1979, she fled to Cuba, where Fidel Castro granted her asylum in 1984.

The FBI later placed Shakur on its “Most Wanted Terrorists” list, offering a $1 million reward for information leading to her capture. She remained in Cuba until her death in April 2024 at an undisclosed age.

Tributes From Political and Educational Groups

Despite her criminal record, several progressive organizations honored Shakur’s legacy after her passing. The Democratic Socialists of America posted, “Rest in Power, Assata Shakur. The American state brutally oppressed Assata and her Black Panther Party Comrades. The Cubans welcomed her and other Black Revolutionaries with asylum, and their solidarity and loyalty allowed Assata to live out her days in Havana.”

The Chicago Teachers Union also shared a tribute, writing, “Today we honor the life and legacy of a revolutionary fighter, a fierce writer, a revered elder of Black liberation, and a leader of freedom whose spirit continues to live in our struggle.”

Political Leaders Push Back

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Democrat, joined Patel in condemning the tributes. “She was convicted of the murder of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster, who was executed in cold blood,” Murphy posted on X. “There are so many worthy heroes to celebrate. She is not one of them.”

Shakur’s affiliation with the Black Liberation Army—a militant offshoot of the Black Panther Party—connected her to a group involved in armed robberies, police shootings and bombings in the 1970s.

Shakur’s Defense of Her Actions

In her 1987 autobiography, Shakur claimed she was wrongfully targeted and said she was punished for political beliefs and actions she viewed as justified.

Shakur died in Havana in late April 2024, closing a decades-long chapter of one of the most polarizing figures in American political and criminal history.

D4vd Swatted Days After Teen’s Body Found in Tesla

D4vd was the target of a swatting hoax at his family’s Hempstead home in Texas just ten days after police discovered the decomposed body of a 15-year-old girl in the trunk of his impounded Tesla in Los Angeles.

On September 18, officers armed with rifles arrived at the residence following a 911 call falsely claiming gunfire, screaming and a possible death at the property. The entire response was captured on police body cameras, showing officers approaching the home with weapons drawn.

The parents of the 20-year-old singer, born David Anthony Burke, answered the door visibly alarmed.

“Someone is messing with us,” his father repeated to officers, while his mother asked them to check the property in case someone was hiding nearby.

Police confirmed the call was a swatting prank, a dangerous tactic where false emergencies are reported to provoke an armed law enforcement response. No arrests were made and no official report was filed.

The hoax came shortly after the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that the body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been discovered in the trunk of D4vd‘s Tesla on September 8. The vehicle had been towed from a location where it had been parked for weeks.

“The vehicle had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so Ms. Rivas Hernandez may have been deceased for several weeks before the discovery of her body,” the LAPD said in a statement.

Hernandez, who weighed 71 pounds and had wavy black hair, was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a yellow metal chain bracelet and stud earrings at the time of her death, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

Investigators have not yet determined how she died. However, police acknowledged there may be “criminal culpability” related to the concealment of her remains.

“The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet determined the cause or manner of Ms. Rivas Hernandez’s death,” LAPD said. “As such, it remains unclear whether there is any criminal culpability beyond the concealment of her body.”

Hernandez had been reported missing from her Lake Elsinore home earlier this year. Sources told TMZ that D4vd’s friends believed she was 19, though she was actually 15 when her body was found—just one day after her birthday.

D4vd, who rose to prominence on TikTok with tracks like “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me,” canceled his U.S. tour on September 19 and paused the release of his deluxe album “Withered.” He has not made any public appearances since vacating his Hollywood Hills residence, which was searched by detectives.

The swatting incident adds another layer of scrutiny to a case already drawing national attention. False emergency calls like these have become a growing concern, especially when tied to high-profile investigations.
A spokesperson for the artist has not responded to requests for comment.

The LAPD continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Hernandez’s death, which was confirmed on September 8.

BREAKING: Judge Shoots Down Diddy’s Attempt To Have Prostitution Conviction Dropped

Diddy lost a key legal battle Tuesday (September 30) in Manhattan federal court, where a judge refused to toss out two prostitution-related convictions, setting the stage for his sentencing on Friday (October 3) on charges tied to the Mann Act.

The 55-year-old Hip-Hop mogul was found guilty in July of arranging for male sex workers to cross state lines for paid encounters with his girlfriends—violations of the Mann Act, a 1910 federal law originally aimed at curbing sex trafficking.

In previous court filings, Diddy’s lawyers claimed the conviction was unprecedented and an overreach into his personal habits involving “freak offs.”

“This is wildly out of proportion to the conduct at issue—threesomes where fully competent adult men and women voluntarily crossed state lines and had consensual sex with each other, and the defendant made no money from the conduct,” Diddy’s lawyers said in court filings. “We are unaware of any other Mann Act prosecution based on such conduct.”

U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian rejected Diddy’s bid to overturn the convictions, brushing aside his legal team’s argument that the charges were an overreach.

“To any modern reader, the plain meaning of prostitution is sex for sale. Every modern dictionary the Court consulted says the same thing,” Judge Subramanian wrote. “What happened in this case was transportation for prostitution even under Combs’s understanding of the term: Combs transported the escorts (who were financially motivated) and intended for them to engage in prostitution.”

Diddy was acquitted of more serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, which could have carried a life sentence. However, the two Mann Act violations still carry significant weight—up to 20 years in prison.

Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro painted the mogul as a voyeur who enjoyed filming and watching amateur adult content, which she said falls under First Amendment protections.

Prosecutors countered that Diddy reimbursed his ex-girlfriends for arranging the sexual liaisons, making him culpable under federal law.

Testimony from Cassie, Jane Doe and other women played a central role in the case, with prosecutors alleging Diddy financed the encounters through his partners, effectively paying for sex across state lines. The judge agreed.

“First, Combs’s conduct is not protected by the First Amendment. First Amendment protection
applies “only to conduct that is inherently expressive,” Judge Subramanian wrote. “Evidence at trial showed that when Combs filmed, he didn’t typically give notice ahead of time or ask for consent, as a film producer would; and that he masturbated, suggesting that the purpose was his immediate sexual gratification.

“In fact, he sometimes participated in the sexual activities. The evidence showed that Combs ‘and the escort would both … have intercourse’ with Ventura at the same time. And after Ventura or Jane finished having sex with an escort, Combs would have sex with Ventura or Jane, often while the escort’s semen was still on their body. At other times, Ventura would ‘put [the men’s] semen on [Combs], usually on his chest, on his nipples,’” Judge Subramanian said in his opinion.

The ruling solidified the convictions and cleared the path for Diddy’s sentencing.

Federal prosecutors are seeking a sentence of 11 years and 3 months, citing what they describe as violent and coercive behavior.

They are requesting home confinement instead of additional prison time, citing his lack of prior convictions and the nature of the charges he was acquitted on. Judge Subramanian has denied bail several times, citing public safety concerns and the seriousness of the charges.
