Rick Ross has thanked his neighbors for making sure his animals returned to the Promised Land Zoo after several of his cattle, including some massive buffalo, strayed onto his neighbor’s property.
The unnamed woman complained to TMZ that the beasts had ventured onto the plot of land she occupies behind the rapper’s palatial estate twice this week. She voiced her concerns that the animals, which weigh on average up to 2,000 pounds when fully grown, could pose a danger to her two young children.
The neighbor also shared a video of the cattle traversing onto her land while a group of people attempted to steer them back home. She said she plans to file a neighbor dispute with the city after an attempt to speak to Rick Ross resulted in a confrontation with one of his employees. Check out the video below.
However, after receiving backlash for letting his cattle run wild, Rick Ross issued a response. According to Rozay, his animals are nothing to be afraid of. “They’re just grazers, they’re not meat eaters,” he explained in an Instagram Story.
“For everybody that’s wanting a statement and response for my bulls, my cows, a couple buffalos that got away in the community, this is my response: I always return stray animals,” Rick Ross declared. “Make sure you always keep a collar on your animal. And mine don’t have a collar c## you know it’s mine.”
Ross continued: “So when you see my buffalo, give it a carrot, give it an apple. They so kind. They so peaceful. Thanks everybody for watching. Thanks everyone for making sure my animals got back into the Promise Land.”
Hip Hop artist Ja Rule had something to say about NBA player Ja Morant. The Memphis Grizzlies All-Star recently found himself in hot water after brandishing a firearm on Instagram Live.
Following an investigation by the league and a meeting with Commissioner Adam Silver, the NBA suspended Ja Morant for eight games. Morant also reportedly entered a counseling program in Florida.
Chicago Bulls guard Patrick Beverley pointed the finger at parenting and Hip Hop culture as the causes of Ja Morant’s questionable actions. TMZ interviewed Ja Rule to get his thoughts on Beverley’s take.
“I’m sure there is,” replied Ja Rule when asked if there is any validity to gangsta rap motivating Ja Morant’s behavior. “Hip Hop is very influential. I’ve done things in my youth because of Hip Hop.”
The “Always on Time” hitmaker added, “Redman made ‘How To Roll A Blunt’ – we started smoking blunts. Snoop [Dogg] made ‘Gin and Juice’ – we start drinking gin and juice. Hip Hop is very influential. I’m not gonna say it’s not.”
Ja Rule Wants People To Let Ja Morant Heal
Ja Rule went on to say that he hopes Ja Morant has better people around him and avoids the streets. The 47-year-old New Yorker also wants the public to allow Morant to go through a healing process so he can return to the court.
For his part, Morant did take responsibility for his conduct. The 23-year-old South Carolina native sat down with ESPN’s Jalen Rose to discuss the recent headline-grabbing, off-court behavior that led to an eight-game suspension.
“I realize what I have to lose, and for us as a group, what we have to lose. It’s pretty much just that being more responsible, more smarter, and staying away from all the bad decisions,” said Morant.
The 2020 NBA Rookie Of The Year also stated, “The gun wasn’t mine. That’s not who I am. I don’t condone it or any type of violence, but I take full responsibility for my actions.”
Lil Nas X replied to comments questioning his sexuality in his usual fashion, trolling a couple of Twitter users who suggested he’s playing at being gay.
Fans flooded Social media with clips of the Georgia native’s performance at Lollapalooza Chile on Friday (Mar. 17), including one that implied Lil Nas X isn’t gay but fakes it for money.
The fan shared a clip of the Columbia Records artist performing his unreleased track “Down Souf H*es” featuring Saucy Santana.
“One day we will realise that Lil Nas X is not gay,” read the caption. “He just finessed the LGBT community and got to the bag. 🚀”
The “Montero” rapper caught wind of the tweet and clapped back with sarcasm, telling the fan how far he’s willing to go to prove his sexuality.
“do i have to give head at 3:45 am behind a mcdonalds in chicago on a friday night during the middle of pride month while streaming on twitch and ig live for y’all to realize i am really a fruitcake,” he asked.

After sharing a few details about tracks on his upcoming album, Lil Nas X responded to another fan questioning his sexuality.
“I feel like he’s not really gay or not really that feminine it’s so forced,” a Twitter user wrote. He quote tweeted the comment responding with, “Oh no guys it’s the estrogen expert.”
However, he saw the funny side of some of the comments, laughing at one fan’s reaction to his new cornrowed ponytail hairstyle.
“Lil Nas X tricked the hell out of us. I thought his a** was a country cowboy when he came out, now he on stage twerking with a weave. I mean I like the new song but 😧” the fan tweeted.
“lmaoo,’ he replied, laughing at himself.
Meanwhile, Lil Nas had to apologize recently after a joke caused a tiff with the trans community.
Marlon Wayans wants to know why Jay-Z keeps leaving him off the Roc Nation Brunch invite list.
The comedian playfully addressed the sub in a recent interview, questioning why Hov has never invited him to his annual pre-Grammy Awards celebration. He raised the issue during a recent appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, saying, “I got a bone to pick with Jay-Z.”
Before he could address his gripe, his host interjected, joking that they share the same problem. “Oh my God bro, I got the same bone,” Big Boy stated.
According to Marlon Wayans, Diddy invited him to all his swanky parties, but the same can’t be said for Jay.
“I get in Diddy party all the time,” he added. “Diddy hit me, ‘Aye, like dat, come through, Ciroc, Deleon, take dat, take dat shot, come have a good time.’ Always! Jay-Z… crickets, crickets. Megan Thee Stallion was invited to the home of Vice President Kamala Harris for a Glamour celebration of Women’s History Month. The event took place in Washington D.C. on Saturday (March 18). The Grammy Award-winning rapper shared some snaps of her trip, including one with the VP herself. She wrote in the caption simply, “DC @kamalaharris.”
In one of the photos, Megan Thee Stallion—wearing a black and blue dress with a plunging neckline— playfully sticks her tongue out as Harris laughs. The others include more of Megan showing off her dress in front of Harris’s mansion.
Glamour‘s Editor-in-Chief Samantha Barry spoke about the magazine’s long history of advocating for women—before it was “fashionable.”
March is a really important month for us as we take account of the extraordinary achievements of women. For me it’s a time where we take stock of the past, celebrate the present, and plot the future. Glamour is 85 years old next year. We were one of the first magazines in the United States to really empower the working woman—our tagline in the 40s was ‘for the girl with a job’. Looking into the archives, these issues of Glamour equipped women to take on jobs when the world went to war, they had feminist writers who argued why women should go to college, long before it became the norm.
“And there were so many inches and issues dedicated to the fight for reproductive rights and the passing of Roe v Wade. And I wonder, as I say these words out loud, what those writers in the 50s, 60s and 70s would feel that we are still fighting that fight in 2023. We tackled topics like divorce, sexual liberation, motherhood and more in groundbreaking ways. And the history of Glamour is really woven into the history of women in America.”
In addition to Megan Thee Stallion, Nancy Pelosi, actors Simone Ashley, Nicole Ari Parker and Phoebe Robinson, soccer star Ashlyn Harris, founder/CEO Emma Grede, fashion designer and Fifteen Percent Pledge founder Aurora James and author and activist Marley Dias were among those in attendance.
Harris addressed the importance of women having paid leave, saying, “Economic empowerment of women is about an investment in the future of our country. When you lift up the economic status of women, you lift up the economic status of families and communities, and all of society benefits.”
This is about to get really deep and interesting. Gunna how’s the new song that has leaked, partially at least. And then the song he has begun to sing about his feelings on YSL. Specifically, he talks about the rumor surrounding him, leaving the organization, that young thug built. Obviously, most people know by now that Young Thug is incarcerated and looking at a tough trial for running an alleged criminal enterprise, disguised as a record label.
A number of people have been arrested and are actually acting as snitches in the case. Gunna has not been implicated as one of those that is directly testifying against Young Thug. He has made statements that sing to implicate his former buddy in criminal activity. Anyway, the real question is, “How will the fans and industry respond to him rapping about his new reality now?” He does not have Thugger as a protector anymore and a lot of people like Durk and Meek Mill have stopped following him.
And the fans: how are they looking at him? I know he has lost a lot of core fans, but what about those that are no so concerned about the code of the streets? I would venture to say that the suburbs may continue to support Gunna. Look at Tekashi 69? That dude has not lost a chain yet! I don’t think all his money is from Wish, you feel me?
“Heard the rumors said I’m packing up and flying out/We ain’t going nowhere I’m staying here, gone fight it out/I meant like f**k it/Let’s just give these n***as dark clouds/Been gone for months And I just keep seeing these dark clouds.”
– Gunna

Pras Michel, a member of the acclaimed music group The Fugees, is facing difficulties in his attempts to serve former President Bill Clinton and Rudy Giuliani with subpoenas, as the pair seem to be dodging the musician’s efforts to have them testify in his trial over the 1MDB scandal.
Pras is connected to the case by associating with Jho Low, a central figure in the scandal.
The 1MDB scandal, which emerged in 2009, revolves around the misappropriation of billions of dollars from the Malaysian state investment fund, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
Jho Low allegedly used his connections with influential figures like Kim Kardashian, Busta Rhymes, Paris Hilton, and many others to launder money (without their knowledge) and sustain a lavish lifestyle.
However, Pras Michel is accused of collaborating with Low to facilitate the transfer of large sums of money from foreign banks to the United States.
In collaboration with Low’s illicit funds, Pras is accused of funneling millions of dollars to back the 2012 presidential campaign of then-President Barack Obama, utilizing a minimum of 20 proxy contributors to obscure the actual origin of the finances.
In June of 2021, a Washington D.C. grand jury issued an updated indictment against Pras alleging that he helped initiate an unauthorized, covert operation around 2017, aiming to persuade the then-President’s administration and the Department of Justice to abandon their investigation into Jho Low.
According to documents obtained by AllHipHop that were provided to the court by Pras Michel’s lawyer, David Kenner, a former attorney for Death Row Records, the musician has made extensive efforts to serve subpoenas on Clinton and Giuliani.
Despite several attempts as recent as the past 24 hours, individuals connected to these witnesses have acknowledged the attempted service but communicated their refusal to accept the subpoenas on behalf of their clients.
Robert Costello, an attorney who has represented Giuliani, stated that he would refuse to accept service for his client unless permitted explicitly by Giuliani.
Meanwhile, separate investigations have revealed that Giuliani might have been in Tennessee, with possible plans to travel to Texas. Resources are currently deployed in both locations to attempt successful service.
Furthermore, after multiple attempts to serve Bill Clinton at various locations, a process server received a call from someone named “Chris.”
This individual claimed not to be authorized to accept service unless authorized by Clinton. “Chris” did not confirm whether they are an attorney but provided a phone number linked to a law firm named Williams Connolly LLP in Washington DC.
Pras and Kenner expect to complete service on Clinton and Giuliani by March 25, 2023, based on current information and prior experience.
As the trial continues, Pras Michel remains in a difficult position, with his connection to the 1MDB scandal casting a shadow over his musical career.
In fact, earlier this week, it was revealed that Pras was working with an intermediary to raise funds by offering the opportunity to acquire a share in the rap star’s future income as an artist.
Terrace Martin, celebrated musician/producer for Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and many more, is mourning the death of his father, jazz artist Curly Martin. Terrace announced his father’s passing last week with an Instagram post that read, “Rest well master teacher. I will continue the mission. I love you dad. Rest in power & love Curly Martin.”
Condolences from his friends, fans and peers flooded the comment section. Snoop Dogg wrote, “Stay strong. My mamma greeting him at the gate,” while Robert Glasper wrote, “My n-gga…u made him proud.” Kamasi Washington added: “Rest in Power Curly Martin! T your father is an amazing and beautiful spirit. As he travels to the next phase of life I’m sure he is most proud of the man in you that he has still on this earth. I love you Terrace praying for strength and peace for you and your family.”
Rapsody, Hi-Tek, Busta Rhymes, 9th Wonder, Pharoahe Monch, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lil Eazy E, PJ Morton, DJ Rhettmatic and Adrian Younge were among the many others surrounding Terrace with love, a testament to his impact on the culture.

Ernest “Curly” Martin was a renowned jazz drummer born in Omaha, Nebraska and member of the Omaha Black Music Hall of Fame. He was recently honored with a Life Achievement Award from the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award (OEAA). He passed away on March 13 at the age of 79 following a long illness.
“He was Omaha’s last real jazz musician from the days of North Omaha being a music town,” longtime friend/mentee Paul Allen IV tells AllHipHop. “But he was a real musician, so he played all styles of music throughout the years. He cared about teaching young people and stood for the excellence that this town was known for in its heyday. He held everyone up to that standard until the end and called them out if they fell short.”
Curly is survived by fiancée Cynthia Taylor and a host of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday (March 25) in Omaha. Find the information below and keep scrolling for more of Terrace’s posts.
DJ Scratch is well rooted in Hip-Hop culture. As a member of EPMD, he produced the tracks “Funky Piano” and “Rampage” from 1991’s Business As Usual. He also worked on a remix for “I’m Mad” in addition to being the duo’s official DJ. He later linked up with Busta Rhymes and started producing for Flipmode Squad, LL COOL J, Q-Tip and many more. Needless to say, he’s been around. But despite his vast knowledge of Hip-Hop, he thinks there are some discrepancies that need to be discussed.
Not long after MC Sha-Rock sparred with Debbie D over first female MC claims, DJ Scratch had a message for the OGs. On Saturday (March 18), DJ Scratch shared a Facebook status that read: “All the first generation of Hip Hop from all New York City boroughs need to sit in a room & get this history sorted out correctly.”
The post produced a cascade of comments from people who were primarily in agreement. Many agreed Hip Hop was older than 50 but still gave credit to Kool Herc. As one person wrote: “Coming from the outside looking in, I think the culture is older than 50, but Herc’s event can still be recognized as the seminal moment. That was the Genesis moment.
“Everybody can’t be called a Founder but the contributions of men like Grandmaster Flowers has to be recognized. All of the Boroughs need their space and recognition as contributing to the birth of the culture but DJ Kool Herc’s party still is recognized as the moment the others incidentally birthed.”
Unsurprisingly, that comment also sparked a debate and someone quickly pointed out Flowers wasn’t considered a Hip-Hop DJ. Another commenter brought up DJ Hollywood, who is still labeled a “disco” DJ to this day. It’s these nuanced arguments that DJ Scratch clearly thinks need to be resolved.
Hip Hop officially turns 50 on August 11, the same date in 1973 Kool Herc and sister Cindy Campbell threw the Back To School party at 1520 Sedgwick Ave. in the Bronx.
San Francisco is on the path to becoming the first major US city to provide reparations to its eligible Black residents, with a bold plan that has sparked a heated debate.
The proposal includes giving $5 million to each qualifying individual, providing an annual guaranteed income of $97,000, and offering homes for $1 per family.
While advocates argue that such measures are necessary to address the historical injustices of slavery and racism, some critics, including white individuals angered by the plan, have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns.
The reparations plan is considered by many to be the most comprehensive policy effort in the US on the contentious issue of reparations.
Backers of the proposal assert that it’s crucial in redressing the long-standing effects of slavery and racist policies that have disproportionately impacted Black Americans in various aspects of life, such as poverty, health, incarceration, and economic status.
However, detractors – including some political liberals in San Francisco – have labeled the plan a financial and political disaster. They argue that residents of California, who were never slave owners, shouldn’t be forced to provide financial assistance to people who were not enslaved.
Even the San Francisco chapter of the NAACP spoke out against the proposed plan.
Moreover, some have raised concerns over the feasibility of funding such an initiative amidst a downturn in the tech industry in Silicon Valley, which serves as San Francisco’s primary hub.
The cost analysis of the proposals has yet to be completed by the committee, with the panel’s final report expected to be released in June. It will then be up to the state legislature to draft any actual measures and decide whether to vote to pass them.
The reparations debate has gained traction in the US in recent years, particularly following the nationwide racial justice movement in 2020.
One of the main challenges discussed in San Francisco is determining who qualifies for reparations. Although approximately 50,000 Black people reside in the city, how many would be eligible is unclear.
To qualify under the current plan, an individual must be at least 18 years old and have identified as Black or African American in public documents for a minimum of ten years.
Despite supporting the reparations plan, the idea faces fierce backlash from some white people who disagree with the city’s proposal.
These individuals have taken to Twitter to express their disapproval, contributing to the ongoing debate over the fairness and feasibility of the plan.
Fun Fact: 1/3 of Africa was Slave. Blacks owe Blacks Reparations.#Reparations

Well-known Brooklyn-based rapper Casanova, born Caswell Senior, is experiencing another delay in sentencing for the ongoing Gorilla Stone Nation case.
Casanova is among the 18 individuals charged as members of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone gang in a comprehensive RICO case that emerged in December 2020.
The gang stands accused of various crimes, including drug trafficking, violent assaults, and the murder of a 15-year-old boy in Upstate New York.
Initially, Casanova faced charges of racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to knowingly and intentionally manufacture, distribute, or dispense, or possess with intent to manufacture, distribute, or dispense, a controlled substance (crack cocaine, cocaine, and marijuana), and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
He initially pleaded not guilty, and the rapper asserted his innocence, arguing that his high-profile status and connections to specific individuals made him a target for the authorities.
The rapper also admitted to being the shooter in a July 5, 2020, incident at a Florida party involving other gang members. During the altercation, Casanova fired at a rival over a gambling disagreement.
Additionally, the rapper acknowledged his involvement in a 2018 robbery in Manhattan that left a woman named Niya Rucker severely injured.
Moreover, Casanova confessed to conspiring to traffic a minimum of 100 kilograms of marijuana and being a key figure in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation.
He has now pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to conduct and participate in the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity and one count of conspiracy to distribute over 100 kilograms of marijuana.
His new sentencing date is now scheduled for June 27, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. Casanova faces up to 60 years in prison.
Lil Boosie is always in the news, but his son is not. His son Tootie Raww is out there, seemingly living his young life. You might remember him, because he used to play around with T.I.’s son King. At first, I thought they were beefing for real, but it was all young, rich kid antics. Nevertheless, there’s a rumor that suggests Tootie may have crossed over.
These digital streets are saying that he was caught with a gun, drugs and a whole bunch of money. Sadly, there is not much more to this rumor, so it may be false. Still, the rumor could be linked to a lot of which has played out over social media. Some have even brought Charleston White into this because they were going back and forth a bit over social media.
One thing for sure is that this young dude grew up with a rich dad that has a lot of power in the hood! Why wouldn’t he just go be a rapper or a student? Hopefully, Tootie Raww is not in trouble, but looking below, it seems like he is claiming to be harassed. Based on the video and the description, he was knocked down in Austin during SXSW. Austin is as liberal as it gets for TX, but it is still the south. Seeing Tootie Raww out and about with what looks like a citation…I think he will be ok!
Reflecting on her new sound, Azealia indicated she has been experimenting with her voice.
“My voice has definitely matured a lot, and I feel really sexy when I sing now,” she said. “When you’re younger, especially when you come from theatre like I do, you’re kind of listening to yourself as you sing to make sure that you sound pretty. But I don’t care about sounding pretty. Because I’ve realized that I’m f###### gorgeous.”
And while “212” hitmaker Azealia may have made her name as a rapper, she never wants to be defined by just one genre.
“I do have some house songs, but a lot of my category is technically electronic music, and people really do gloss over how great of a traditional rapper I am,” the 31-year-old continued. “I’ve done everything. I’m singing opera on (2014 track) JFK. I’m doing dembow on (2020 song) ‘Salchichón.’ I’m doing bossa nova with that cover of ‘Chega de Saudade.’ I put out a f###### Christmas record. I just like music.”
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have filed a legal name change request for their son.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the reality star and “Sicko Mode” rapper have now requested for their son’s name to be legally changed.
In March 2022, Kylie shared with fans on Instagram that the pair would no longer be calling their infant son Wolf, the name she originally announced after his birth that February.
In January 2023, a few weeks before his first birthday, she revealed that they had settled on the name Aire.
In new legal documents, the parents noted that they “regret the initial name choice of Wolf Jacques Webster” for the child, and “believe that Aire Webster is a better fit.”
She wrote down Wolf, a name her older half-sister Khloé Kardashian suggested, because she liked the idea at the time.
“We really didn’t have a name. I just thought it was gonna just come to us when we saw him. And it didn’t,” she recalled. “So, we just put Wolf Webster in that moment. Right after I signed the birth certificate, I was like, ‘What did I just do?'”
Kylie and Travis, real name Jacques Webster, are also parents to five-year-old daughter Stormi.
They have been in an on-off relationship since April 2017 and reportedly broke up again in January.
Latto endures as one of the premier rappers in the present day and really show little sign of slowing up. Even when she goes a lil to the pop side, she’ll just link up with somebody like GloRilla is shore up the base in the hood. But, she may have gone a bit too far recently to show she’s a G.
She recently bragged about bringing a loaded glock to LAX. What the?
Went to LAX w a loaded glock 17 in my Birk got locked & let out in a few hours lmaooo booked a $75k jet to my show in Alabama & still made it on time! 😮💨 no cap in my rap TUH https://t.co/KUkt8NsdMg
What is not clearly stated is that his is some kind of old case and she was responding to a twitter user. That is a great thing! She also clarified that this is not related to another case in Atlanta. Thank GAWD!
Nah that was in Atlanta lol I was profiled for “looking like” sum b#### that robbed a n####… I’m not no robber man 😂 jail is NOT for me btw 🥴 https://t.co/GuMj0tL2kR

As a member of Haiku d’Etat and Project Blowed, Abstract Rude is among the Los Angeles underground Hip-Hop elite. Now, the talented MC has a new song appearing in the Amazon Prime Video film, Half Dead Fred. Directed by Bron Theron of White Ninja Productions, the film revolves around a mysterious murder that takes place in Flint, Michigan. But medium detective Freddy Nash takes the case and uses his ability to see the dead to solve it. As Ab Rude explains to AllHipHop, the track—”Ghost Medium Detective”—provides the soundtrack for the end credits.
“My dude Bron Theron has been leveling up from murals since I met him back in the late ’90s to now docs, shorts and even feature films as with his newest Half Dead Fred,” he says. “When he showed me the script to write the ending recap song, it gave me that Clue meets Ghostbusters meets Inspector Gadget kind of noir, ‘who done it’ feel, so I wrote the song in that spirit, embodying the lead character and ‘Ghost Medium Detective’ himself Freddy Nash played by Corin Nemec. Damn it feels good to see people up on it! Y’all go watch that. You will hear me on the credits roll, and we made an official soundtrack music video for it as well.”
Theron, also an artist, has several writing credits under his belt, including 2008’s PrimalRap and 2021’s The Crude Crypt Volume One.
“As a mural artist, I travel to Flint every year to do artwork in the city,” Theron explains. “A friend of mine that runs the art program has a four-story Victorian house in carriage town, and we always joked about it being a haunted house. The owner of the house has actually written a book called Haunted Flint. I thought it would be fun to make a movie there, so I wrote a script that centered around the house, ghosts, treasure and a medium detective.
“I have known Abstract Rude for many years and worked on documentary films with him in the past, but this film was special in the fact that I gave him the script ahead of time so he can write lyrics that reflect the story. ‘Ghost Medium Detective’ is a dope song that really digs deep into the film, and the music video has a narrative around the artist as well. I also think it’s due time that Ab Rude’s work is seen on a more commercial level because the talent is obvious.”
