Are The NBA YoungBoy And Lil Durk Billboards Pushing Beef?

On the whole, it appears as though the war of words continues. So, are the NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk billboards pushing a burgeoning beef? Well, the respected artists are certainly making their beliefs known.

Thus far, social media has been circulating photos of the respective billboards. Earlier this week, on Tuesday (March 8), several people discuss how Durk may seemingly be sending a message to Top. As a matter of fact, these advertisements have been sighted in Baton Rouge.

Of course, Baton Rouge is the hometown of the Neighborhood Superstar. In addition, the message is clearly spelled out using cash. Previously, when YB was in Utah serving house arrest, he revived the trend of using currency to send out a message.

Next, it is certainly apparent that “Durk better,” is a definite spin on the Southern spitter’s popular motto. Also, last year, the BR wordsmith’s team used billboads to help promote, Sincerely, Kentrell. Be that as it may, Louisiana lyricist has more to say and he does not hesitate to hop into action.

Rather, than sending out wifi shots, Mr. Grim Reaper allegedly gets activated. Out of nowhere, an NBA YoungBoy billboard pops up in Chicago. Imagery from his recent mixtape, Colors, is on ardent display. Additionally, its message rings out, “YB VS EVERYBODY,” cannot be missed.

Above all, it is best that this perceived animosity remain in the creative realm.

Judge Says Officer Lied On Rapper C Blu … As Report Drops Showing NYPD Has Paid $1.7 BILLION In Settlements For Police Misconduct

NY Supreme Court Justice Naita Semaj publicly stated that an NYPD officer lied on drill rapper C Blu when he testified against the artist.

The cop implied that the teen rapper was not cooperating with the police, but “clear” video footage proves that he was.

According to the Washington Post, this type of police misconduct has cost taxpayers across the nation over $3.2 billion in settlement claims from 2011, to 2021.

Research released by the outlet showed that 7,600 officers are responsible for “40,000 payments at 25 of the nation’s largest police and sheriff’s departments” within the past decade.

The officer’s conduct in C Blu’s case is an example of misconduct and violation of rights that could potentially cost the city of New York City a hefty bag.

According to the New York Daily News, on Tuesday, March 8th, the Bronx judge called the cop’s testimony “incredible” and “self-serving,” later adding it “had no value.”

C Blu, who also happens to want to be a good student in high school with a desire to become a biochemist in addition to his rap career, is accused of shooting an officer on January 18th.

Semaj recognized that the 16-year-old did have a firearm on her person, but there was “no apparent reason” for Bronx Officer Taulant Gjonbalaj, or any other officers to have approached him and escalated the confrontation.

Semaj, who serves in the New York Supreme Court 12th Judicial District, said in her ruling on the case that “there was absolutely zero reason for any of those officers to approach this individual.”

“They approached him, they detained him, they searched him, and no officer even bothered to come up with a halfway legitimate reason for any of that,” she emotionally said.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, the officers reported that the artist, who was part of a “disorderly crowd,” refused to obey the cop’s command to take his hands out of his pockets.

This act of defiance launched the fight between Officer Kaseem Pennant and the child.

It was alleged that the teen shot at the officer and struck himself in the leg in the process.

C Blu’s lawyer Dawn Florio stated in January, “My client never touched the gun. You could hear the people saying that they thought the police officer shot my client.”

Video footage supports the defense and draws questions to the officer’s recollection about the shooting or firing.

It showed that as Officers Pennant and Gjonbalaj illegally searched the minor, the gun that he had on his person went off, which caused both injuries. The officers made up the other story.

“While there is no disputing the fact that Mr. Williams had a gun on him that night,” Semaj stated, “he literally does everything you tell your child to do when they’re approached by cops. He literally kept his hands up. He literally tried to record to make sure there was proof. He answered questions he had no obligation to answer.”

The judge addressed Officer Taulant Gjonbalaj’s blatant misrepresentation of the facts.

“I cannot state how absolutely incredible his testimony was,” she said. “It was inconsistent with the video, it was inconsistent with his fellow officer’s testimony, it was self-serving, it had no value.”

She further stated that the prosecution did not demonstrate that shot caused Pennant to have “significant physical injury,” a factor crucial to determine if this case should be moved to Family Court, considering the age of the defendant.

This is important.

C Blu, who has pleaded not guilty, was charged as an adult with criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree assault, and other weapons charges.

If the case is heard in Family Court, he will not be prosecuted by the Bronx District Attorney, but the city’s Law Department.

The rapper will also not have a trial by jury, but as a juvenile, he will have the case decided by judges — a possibility that will have less harsh penalties.

As the judge pointed out, the child’s rights were actually violated as there was no reason to approach him or his group in the first place.

Should this case be thrown out, and C Blu file his own civil rights lawsuit, he could potentially add to the number of recipients who have settled with the city because a cop was moving funny.

Over the last decade, the Big Apple has dolled out a total of $1.779 billion (a whopping $1,779,045,901) in police misconduct lawsuit settlements. The report notes that 46% by officers are named in multiple payments.

New York City Police Sgt. Edward Riley responded to this statistic, “The numbers have been, for a few years now, on a continuous downward trend indicating that members of this Department are acting with courtesy, professionalism, and respect and in accordance with the trainings and policies of this Department… Notices of Claim are allegations and are sometimes paid by the City prior to litigation as a business decision, without the benefit of evidence or officers’ testimony.”

Most police officers are upright and serve honorably … it is those rotten apples that spoil the who bunch.

Kanye West Unleashes Monkey Attack On Pete Davidson

Kanye West cannot get Pete Davidson off of his mind.

On Wednesday, Kanye and The Game released a new music video for their collaboration “Eazy.”

In the new animation, the rappers appear as video game-style characters and are frequently accompanied by skinned monkeys.

As Kanye raps, “God saved me from that crash/Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a*s,” a skinned monkey beats up a man with a pixelated face wearing a “Skete” hoodie.

Ye refers to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend Davidson as “Skete.”

The new promo comes after the “Touch the Sky” hitmaker deleted the original version featuring clay animation figures.

In that controversial video, Kanye’s clay self kidnaps and buries Davidson. He recently defended the video, insisting he meant no harm or ill will.

Meanwhile, the rapper celebrated Donda 2’s being ruled ineligible for the Billboard charts.

Earlier this week, Billboard officials announced that Ye’s latest release won’t appear on any of their charts in America because it violates their policy against merchandise bundles.

Albums sold with merchandise are ineligible for inclusion and Donda 2 was only released via West’s Stem Player device, which most fans had to purchase to hear his new music.

Reacting to the news, the 44-year-old wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, “Big win for the kid We can no longer be counted or judged We won we won we won we won We make my own systems We set our own value aaaand yesterdays price is not todays price baaaaabeeeee (sic)!!!!!”

Kanye claims that he made over $2 million in sales of the Stem Player in the 24 hours after he revealed fans could only listen to Donda 2 on the device.

Jussie Smollett Sentenced To 150 Days In Prison For His 2021 ‘Lying To Police’ Conviction

Former “Empire” star Jussie Smollett has been sentenced to 150 days in jail – roughly 5 months – and 30 months of probation for his December 2021 conviction after he lied to police about being attacked by white MAGA-Loving Trump supporters, who allegedly targeted him for being Black and gay.

On Thursday, March 10, Cook County Judge James Linn sentenced him to a little under five months of incarceration and two and half years of probation.

This hearing was different than the closed trial, as Linn allowed press, photographers, and a television camera inside the court. This was the first time the public could hear or see Jussie Smollett’s response to his legal woes in front of the judge.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, a Chicago judge ruled after a trial that the actor orchestrated the attack. Smollett continues to deny that he made up the January 2019 attack, a debacle that cost him his job on the hit Fox music-industry-driven soap opera.

Still, the guilty conviction had him facing up to three years in prison for five felony counts of disorderly conduct, including the charge for lying to the officers.

The Associated Press wrote that there were several factors that played into Linn’s sentencing decision.

Chief among them is Smollett’s criminal history. The 39-year-old has never been in substantial trouble with the law and his conviction of lying, though embarrassing, costly, and elaborate, is considered a low-level nonviolent crime.

Experts had predicted that he would be placed on probation and ordered to complete a number of community service hours.

Currently, there is another lawsuit filed by the City of Chicago for $130,000 pending trial. If he loses, the actor would have to repay the cost of police overtime used to bring justice to him since they believed he was a victim of a hate crime.

The sentence of x is unfortunate, but is not the greatest penalty for Smollett. His career, which once had him as one of Hollywood’s hottest stars, has been severely damaged.

Cardi B Catches Heat For Posting Photo Of Her Newborn Son

Cardi B gave birth to her first son on September 4, 2021. The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker has yet to publicly reveal the newborn’s face.

Yesterday, one of Cardi B’s followers jokingly express frustration over the Bardi Gang leader not posting pictures of the baby. In response, Cardi shared a photo of the boy’s eye. The caption read, “That’s all y’all will get.”

Other Twitter users then began bashing Cardi B. Apparently, some diehard Nicki Minaj fans felt her “Motorsport” collaborator/longtime rival was trying to overshadow Minaj’s highly-publicized interview with Joe Budden.

“How [are] people mad [because] people [were] asking me to see my son and I replied? It seems like I can’t do or say nothing these days [without] people getting irritated. Maybe I should delete my social media or just die [because what the f###],” tweeted Cardi.

She added, “If I post [it’s because] I want attention, if I speak my mind [it’s because] I want attention, if I post a pic I want attention, [if] I talk about my kids which I’m [with every day it’s because] I want attention… Like [what the f###].”

Someone directly mentioned Cardi B posting her baby while another woman was trending on Twitter. Cardi fired back by tweeting, “I POST EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Why do I have to limit myself due to another person? Y’all want me to not be on the internet or do s### cause of other people? Are you dumb? How you want me to dim my light and life for other people. The f###?”

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been publicly feuding since 2018. The bad blood between the two top female rappers included an infamous altercation at a Harper’s Bazaar party that year. Cardi threw one of her high heel shoes at Nicki during the New York Fashion Week event which led to weeks of back-and-forth jabs in the media.

In spite of, Drizzy’s suspicious placement on the Cash King’s List, he seems to be doing mighty well. With “more slaps than The Beatles,” his lyricism affords him a lavish lifestyle. So, with his accumulated wealth, the Canadian crooner seems to feel compelled to share his spoils.

As a matter of fact, an Instagram video shows how an unsuspecting supporter purportedly receives $10,000 from the altruistic Aubrey. Of course, Drake readily embraces the young man. Off camera, the woman who is recording the video is heard exclaiming, “Oh, my God!”

Back in 2018, Mr. Graham released his fifth studio album, Scorpion. The track “God’s Plan” appears on that project. Accordingly, its associated video budget was “$996,631.90.” However, the OVO boss “gave it all away.”

Shout out to Drake.

Nicki Minaj Suggests ‘Billboard’ Was Mad After 6ix9ine’s “Trollz” Went No. 1

Nicki Minaj recently sat down with Joe Budden for a 105-minute interview. At one point during the conversation, Minaj expressed her issues with how Billboard calculates points for its weekly charts.

Back in 2020, Billboard decided to “eliminate the practice of counting albums bundled with merchandise and concert tickets on its album and song charts altogether.” In an attempt to “level the playing field for all artists,” the publication no longer counts the sale of physical records or singles bundled with digital downloads.

The rule changes came just weeks after Nicki Minaj’s “Trollz” collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine debuted atop the Hot 100 chart. There was speculation that “Trollz” became the #1 song in America mostly due to fans of 6ix9ine and Minaj mass buying multiple merchandise bundle options.

That theory became more credible when “Trollz” fell 34 spots on the following week’s Hot 100, breaking the record for the biggest one-week drop in history for a song that opened in the #1 position. The 92% decline in sales for “Trollz” from week one to week two likely played a role in Billboard altering its Hot 100 formula to better reflect a song’s popularity with the general public.

Billboard just changed the rules again about what’s gonna count and what’s not gonna count. To me, and I don’t know this, I’m not badmouthing anybody or anything, but to me it makes me feel like once they realized the fans or the artists have the power again, they do stuff to pull the ole switcharoo,” Nicki Minaj told Joe Budden.

The 39-year-old Young Money representative added, “When me and 6ix9ine went No. 1, they was mad as hell, child. A lot of people were mad. Right before I was about to drop this stuff, it’s new rules, new changes because certain people with a big fanbase, they were buying multiple copies and different versions.”

Other Nicki Minaj singles also suffered significant second-week dips on the Hot 100 chart similar to “Trollz.” 2019’s “Megatron” fell from #20 to #92. 2020’s “Yikes” fell from #23 to #81. 2021’s “Seeing Green” fell from #12 to #48. 2022’s “Do We Have A Problem?” fell from #2 to #32.

Nicki Minaj has two career Number Ones on the Hot 100. Besides “Trollz” with 6ix9ine, the Queens album creator also scored a chart-topper as a guest feature on Doja Cat’s “Say So” track. Plus, Minaj holds the record for most career Hot 100 entries for a female rapper (121 songs).

Joey Bada$$ Talks Nearly Starring In Netflix’s ’The Harder They Fall’ Movie

While speaking with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, Joey Bada$$ talked about nearly playing the character of Jim Beckwourth in The Harder They Fall. Director Jeymes Samuel’s award-winning Western was a streaming hit for Netflix.

Nick Cannon’s Daytime Talk Show Canceled After One Season

Clips from Nick Cannon’s syndicated daytime talk show went viral on social media several times. However, it appears that online engagement was not enough to keep the program on the air.

According to reports, The Nick Cannon Show will not be renewed for a second season. Original pre-taped episodes will continue to air through May.

“It’s never easy to cancel a production with clear potential, but after a great deal of deliberation and examining various options, we have made the difficult business decision to end production on Nick Cannon,” stated Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, co-presidents of Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury production company.

The Nick Cannon Show premiered on September 27, 2021. Superstar comedian Kevin Hart was the first guest. Other celebrities – such as Master P, Brandy, Eve, Ja Rule, Charlamagne Tha God, and Treach – made appearances as well.

Cannon’s “Man Panel” segment made headlines more than once. For example, a conversation about men using sex toys became a trending topic online. The 41-year-old entertainer said, “If a woman wants to bring a toy to the bed, I see that as competition.”

While his talk show is coming to an end, Nick Cannon still has a hosting gig on Fox’s The Masked Singer reality singing competition series. Cannon still leads the VH1 sketch comedy/improv game show Wild ‘n Out as well.

Judge Slams Cops’ “Incredible And Unreliable” Testimony In C Blu Cop Shooting Case

New York Mayor Eric Adams and the NYPD deflected questions about a judge’s scathing remarks questioning the credibility of a cop involved in the arrest of teen rapper C Blu.

16-year-old drill rapper Camrin “C Blu” Williams is accused of shooting NYPD officer Kaseem Pennant in the leg during a search. The rapper was also struck in the leg after a gun in his pocket went off as the search turned into a scuffle.

During a hearing on Tuesday (Mar. 10), Bronx Supreme Court Justice Naita Semaj ruled to move the case from an adult criminal court to Family Court, New York Daily News report. She found arresting officer Taulant Gjonbalaj provided “unreliable” and “self-serving” testimony about the events of that night. After viewing video footage of the incident, she condemned cops for searching C Blu for “no apparent reason” and blasted Gjonbalaj’s account.

“I cannot state how absolutely incredible his testimony was. It was inconsistent with the video, it was inconsistent with his fellow officer’s testimony, it was self-serving, it had no value,” she said.

Cops initially claimed the rapper was part of a “disorderly crowd,” and the tussle occurred because he refused to follow their orders to take his hands out of his pockets. However, the judge said the video shows otherwise and found that C Blu was illegally searched and cops initiated the scuffle.

“While there is no disputing the fact that Mr. Williams had a gun on him that night … he literally does everything you tell your child to do when they’re approached by cops. He literally kept his hands up. He literally tried to record to make sure there was proof.” Semaj added, “He answered questions he had no obligation to answer.”

The judge ruled C Blu, currently out on bond, should be tried as a juvenile.

Mayor & NYPD Fail To Address Judge’s Scathing Remarks

The NYPD released a statement vowing to press ahead despite the judge’s remarks throwing the case into doubt.

“A 16-year-old and a police officer were each shot and wounded in this incident. The bullet came from a gun being carried by a teenager who was released in a prior gun arrest. The officers were on patrol that night for the sole purpose of keeping our citizens safe. Those are the most critically important elements of this case,” said Deputy Commissioner of Public Information John Miller. “We may respectfully disagree with the judge, but we intend to litigate this case in the courtroom.”

Meanwhile, Mayor Adams also issued a statement, though he too declined to mention the judge’s comments about the inconsistent testimony.

“I agree with the judge that there is no denying Mr. Williams had an illegal gun on him that night — a gun that ended up injuring both him and a police officer. This was Mr. Williams’ second gun-related arrest and exactly the reason why we need to work to get guns off the streets,” he said.

“This is one of the best records I’ve ever made,” Joey Bada$$ said. “This is an important, special record near and dear to my heart. I started writing it the day after Nipsey passed. And I didn’t have an actual friendship or relationship with Nipsey. I met him a couple times and everything and it was always good vibes, but I was definitely moved by just who he was in this world and in this game. And when he passed, it was extremely unfortunate. And like I usually do with channeling pain, I put it into the music, you know what I’m saying? So this joint is definitely inspired by him.”

Chris Brown Rape Accuser Loses Lawyers After Cops Find Texts On Her Phone

The Jane Doe accusing Chris Brown of drugging and raping her has lost her attorneys after text messages between the pair came to light.

The unidentified woman is suing the singer for assaulting her on a yacht docked outside of Diddy’s Miami home on December 31, 2020. However, since the emergence of the messages, she has now lost her legal representation.

The text messages and voice note shared by Chris Brown sent almost immediately after the alleged assault are suggestive and flirtatious. TMZ report Jane Doe’s lawyers confirm she is responsible for the messages and voice note. Read some of the text messages and listen to the voice note below.

According to Rolling Stone, Miami Beach cops obtained the texts from the woman’s phone during their investigation into the allegations. They shared them with the accuser’s lawyers last week.

“We are very grateful that the Miami Beach Police Department brought this to our attention. They did a great job,” the unidentified woman’s lawyer, George Vrabeck, told Rolling Stone. The attorney confirmed he and his co-counsel Ariel Mitchell, have ceased to represent the accuser in her lawsuit against Chris Brown. They cite unspecified “information” obtained from police last Thursday (Mar. 3) as the reason.

“We were not made aware that the information existed (prior to filing). It precludes us from going forward for a number of reasons,” Vrabeck says. “It’s not a comment on whether an assault happened or not, but it precludes us from going forward.”

Meanwhile, Chris Brown has issued a couple of statements of his own via his Instagram Stories. “No more dragging me through the mud,” he wrote, sharing a Radar Online report publishing the text messages. “Me and my team are taking legal action on this situation. You don’t play with people’s lives like that.”

Nicki Minaj Gives Props To Lil Kim & Admits Getting Booty Shots In Joe Budden Interview

Nicki Minaj has had a rocky relationship with Lil Kim throughout her rap career, paying homage to her predecessor then later beefing with her.

During her highly-anticipated interview with Joe Budden, which aired on Wednesday (Mar. 9), Nicki spoke on Lil Kim’s influence in the game, giving her props while addressing the fashion industry and the marginalization of female rappers and Black women.

Nicki said that as “the biggest female rapper of all time” in the “most influential genre in the world,” she should have had a Vogue cover by now. She also pointed to how white women are treated differently. “When Billie Eilish comes out and sets a trend with her green hair, she’s immediately put on American Vogue,” she said. The outspoken rapper also gave Lil Kim her props, saying her influence has been similarly ignored.

Nicki Minaj Says They Should Have Been On The Cover Of Vogue Magazine

“The same way I feel I should have already been on the cover of American Vogue, so should have Lil’ Kim. If we being all the way a thousand. If this is what your magazine represents, influence…” She added, “Because when myself or Lil Kim goes on the internet, every day we see our influence. We will see our influence. So, I’m not gonna say it’s about me only and not give that woman [Kim] her dues.”

Elsewhere during the conversation, Nicki Minaj admitted to having “ass shots” early in her career though she denied having surgery. She said surgery wasn’t acceptable in the public eye at that time, she felt like a “guinea pig” in the early days of social media. “I was one of the first people to be sh*tted on on the internet,” she said.

However, she revealed that being around Lil Wayne and the Young Money roster made her feel self-conscious. Wayne would surround himself with voluptuous women with large derrieres at the studio, triggering her insecurities. Nicki felt she could never look like these women who represented her beauty standard for women in rap.

Big Booty Muses

“Actually, what happened was I kept on being around [Lil] Wayne and them,” Nicki Minaj explained. “At that time, you know Wayne, he’s always talking about big booties… Wayne would have a new chick in the studio every session. They were his muses, but I just was around them all the time and I was like the little sister. This is what you’re supposed to look like in the rap culture and I don’t look like that.”

When Joe Budden asked if she felt pressure from anyone else, she added, “I think Wayne, I think they said stuff sometimes.” The host then interjected with, “jokingly.” Nicki continued, “But to a young girl or up-and-coming rapper, when it’s from someone like Lil Wayne, it matters. Even if they’re joking, they don’t know that the person that is there in that room with them is not finding it funny.”

Funk God George Clinton Talks Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg And His Incredible Career In Music

George Clinton has seen it all and done it all.

The futuristic pioneer is the second most sampled artist in Hip-Hop – hands down – and has a tenured space in the culture. Before rap, the 80-year old transformed the landscape of music with P-Funk, but his roots run far deeper. “We came through the psychedelic era, the Motown [era] was straight, clean cut, then psychedelic era, everybody went wild, Woodstock, the acid, the drugs,” he says. “I mean, that was it.” And we were forever changed by the likes of “Flash Light,” “Aqua Boogie,” “One Nation Under a Groove,” “Atomic Dog” and numerous groundbreaking albums.

He put the stank on the wax along with his bands Parliament-Funkadelic. It was only destiny that the sounds seep into the culture of Hip-Hop. Artists like Dr. Dre, Outkast, Warren G, Redman, Snoop Dogg, EPMD, Digital Underground and many others were influenced profoundly by King Clinton. While in Detroit, he was a part of Motown, but decades later witnessed a young, pre-Dr. Dre Eminem rise in Detroit. You can see Brother George Clinton in everything from Redman’s Dare Iz A Darkside to Slim Shady’s Purple Hills to Humpty Hump’s nose.

In this conversation, he talks his legacy, his honors as well as the moves he is making with the latest interation of Parliament-Funkadelic. He may be an elderstatesman, but he’s got plenty of creativity left. He even chats with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur between painting in his Florida home.

Kim Kardashian Intends To Avoid Criticizing Kanye West On Hulu Show

Reality television thrives on drama, but Kim Kardashian wants to avoid airing out her ex-husband Kanye West on her new Hulu show.

Kim Kardashian addressed the hostility between herself and Kanye West in an interview with Variety. Although their relationship woes keep playing out in public, the reality star plans to refrain from disparaging ‘Ye on Hulu’s The Kardashians.

“Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy,” she told Variety. “But I do believe in handling it all privately. I believe in championing publicly and criticizing privately. I don’t think I would ever criticize the father of my children on my TV show. That’s just not really what I’m about, and I just don’t think that would ever make me feel good.”

Kim Kardashian continued, “I’m always really respectful of what the kids will see. The reality is, we’re always a family. We always will have a love and respect for each other. And even if there’s moments where it might not seem like that, there are so many moments that are super positive. I do think it’s important for people to see that things aren’t perfect all the time, but that they can get better.”

Hulu’s The Kardashians premieres on April 14. The series covers Kim Kardashian’s contentious divorce from Kanye West and her romance with Pete Davidson.

Faith Evans Recalls Biggie Smalls Refusing To Exit Car Amid Bodega Raid

Faith Evans shared an amusing story about her late husband The Notorious B.I.G. on the 25th anniversary of his death.

In an interview with People, Faith Evans remembered a time when Biggie Smalls refused to leave their car to get some weed. Since he wouldn’t do it, she went inside a bodega to make the pickup and found herself in the middle of a raid.

“B.I.G. was really lazy,” she said. “He wouldn’t get out of the car to go into the store to get the weed! So I go in, and it just so happens they were getting raided. I was taking a long time. And it’s not like he got out the car to come and check and see what happened.”

Faith Evans laughed while recalling how Biggie reacted when she returned to the car. The Notorious B.I.G. remained oblivious to the raid and simply wondered why she took so long.

“It was about an hour, and I came back all frazzled, and I’m like, ‘Why you didn’t come check on me?’” she explained. “He’s like, ‘No, I’m not getting out the car, what are you talking about?’ He was like, ‘Well, where the weed at?’ Not, ‘Are you OK?’ but, ‘Where’s the weed?’”

Faith Evans married The Notorious B.I.G. in 1994. The two separated prior to Biggie’s death in 1997.

Kanye West Reacts To ‘DONDA 2’ Cut From Billboard Charts!

As of late, everything that Ye does creates headlines. Recently, Hip-Hop’s poet laureate penned his pain. So, today (March 9), Kanye West reacts as DONDA 2 is excluded from the Billboard charts.

Per usual, the avant-garde artist ignores the status quo. Accordingly, he exclusively unveils his latest release through his uniquely-crafted Stem player. In fact, the electronic device costs $200 and allows for an awesome audio experience.

Last month, the Stem Player Twitter account made a bold declaration. Clearly, it sends a shout out to Kanye West. An emphatic tweet reads, “A NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE MUSIC. PLAYS MUSIC. SPLITS MUSIC. FREES MUSIC. WITH ANY SONG. EVOLUTIONARY DIGITAL PLATFORM. MADE WITH OUR FRIEND AND COLLABORATOR @kanyewest.”

As a matter of fact, on Feb. 18, the Chicago creative shared exciting news. So, in a since deleted IG post, Mr. West mentions a milestone. At the time, “39,500” players were sold. By the same token, he boasts that “total net sales” exceed over $8.6 million,” this according to Billboard.

Be that as it may, often innovation challenges convention. Certainly, this is the case with Yeezy’s latest album. Currently, DONDA 2 is ineligible for chart placement. Since, “the album is being sold with a device that can be used for other means besides the playing of the album,” this violates the established charting stipulations, reports Billboard.

Meanwhile, “people familiar with the matter from both Billboard and MRC,” insist on further monitoring its evolution, “as it relates to chart eligibility.” Per usual, the avant-garde artist ignores the status quo. Granting all this, Kanye actually considers this action a “Big win.”

Although, Ye’s personal life is in flux. However, his entrenched creativity continues to blossom. So, in this instance, Yeezus emanates feelings of victory.

In fact, his most recent IG caption says as much. Of course, the “Eazy” MC shares his thoughts. “Big win for the kid,” he states. “We can no longer be counted or judged We won we won we won we won,” notes the “New Slaves” narrator.

“We make my own systems We set our own value aaaand yesterdays price is not todays price baaaaabeeeee!!!!!” expresses the accomplished artist.

Keep up the good work.
