Blac Youngsta Responds To Backlash For Performing Young Dolph Diss

Blac Youngsta had some people on the internet upset. His decision to perform his 2017 “Shake Sum” diss track directed at recently deceased Young Dolph left a sour taste in many fans’ mouths.

Young Dolph (born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr.) was shot and killed on November 17. Prior to his death, Dolph was engaged in a feud with Blac Youngsta that included both rappers releasing diss records aimed at the other.

Subsequently, Blac Youngsta took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the backlash he has been receiving for his “Shake Sum” performance. The self-described “black sheep” expressed no remorse for dissing a dead man.

Blac Youngsta wrote:

Kodak Black Completes 90 Day Rehab; Gifts Pregnant Girlfriend A Ring

Kodak Black is fresh out of a 90-day stint in rehab and is now clean and sober. The “Transportin’” hitmaker is looking to make a new start, focusing on his career and his family. More good news could be on the way after he presented his pregnant girlfriend with a ring.

TMZ report Kodak appeared in court with his lawyer Bradford Cohen on Monday (Dec. 20) following the completion of his rehab. The judge was happy with his progress and agreed to reinstate his supervised release.

According to the outlet, the rapper is ready to get back on tour and is considering requests from overseas. His attorney says Kodak intends to focus his efforts on making good music. He has learned from his time in rehab and will now try to stay away from anything and anyone that could trigger his old habits.

Meanwhile, Kodak Black gave his pregnant girlfriend, real estate agent Maranda Johnson, a very special gift during their baby shower.

Kodak made a speech expressing his love and devotion to the mother of his unborn child before giving her a ring. Johnson showed off the sparkler while proudly displaying her growing baby bump in a stunning champagne-colored full-length beaded dress.

While the Florida rapper remained standing and didn’t drop to one knee, he did make sure to put the ring on a particular finger. No word yet whether Kodak Black popped the question, but Johnson did look very happy with her gift.

Suge Knight Speaks On Selling His Life Rights For New Biopic

Suge Knight is set to be the subject of a biopic that will delve into the life of the co-founder of Death Row Records.

According to Deadline, Producer Steve Whitney and his company TSW Films purchased Suge Knight’s life rights and have already hired writers to start on the script.

“Over the last 30 years, there has been so much talk about Compton,” Suge Knight told Deadline. “Me, the inner cities, and Death Row – A lot of talk. Even when it comes to making my movie there has been so many imposters saying they have my rights, or they got the deal – that was, and is, all talk. I jumped off the porch in my neighborhood at a young age but never forgot where I came from. Most people try to ride for the hills, I made it and tried to bring as many people to the hills with me and feel that I was successful at it.”

How Suge Knight Met Steve Whitney

Suge explained how he came to meet Steve Whitney and why he trusts him to tell his story.

“I met a guy named Mike Klein that was with Ruthless,” he said. “David Kenner was on the phone with Michael Harris and they took a meeting with Jerry Heller and during process of taking that meeting they were trying to sell Dre back to Ruthless behind my back. Mike Klein told me about it and I respect him for it – We became friends. So when it came time to do a real movie and tell the truth about it he introduced me to Steve Whitney. Now, Steve, Mike, and I, and the woman that has my back, are making this movie. Taking it to the next level!”

“During the golden era of rap and hip hop, all roads led through Suge Knight,” said Whitney. “That era helped define a new brand of music and culture that changed the world.

Currently incarcerated at San Diego’s RJ Donovan Correctional Facility, Suge Knight will not be eligible for parole until July 2037. He pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter back in 2018 after crashing his car into Heavyweight Records co-founder Terry Carter and filmmaker Cle Sloan.

Suge Knight co-founded the hugely influential label Death Row Records back in 1991. With artists including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, and Tupac Shakur, the label is credited with bringing gangsta rap to the mainstream and changing the face of Hip-Hop.

40 Glocc Says Wack100 Was Stomped Out At The Same Show Drakeo Was Killed

40 Glocc is trolling the mess out of Wack100!

First of all, RIP Drakeo The Ruler! I was not a big fan of his or anything, but I did see him trying to do better. Also, there’s the issue of him getting stabbed at “Once Upon A Time In LA,” a festival that seemed to be about peace. But then numerous incidents happened, including the fatal stabbing of Drakeo.

I had not heard anything about Wack100 being attacked, but this was pushed out in numerous social posts by 40 Glocc! He literally took this information and populated the internet with it.

Here they are in order:

Drakeo The Ruler Honored By Snoop Dogg After Tragic Death

Snoop Dogg has expressed his sadness after fellow rapper Drakeo the Ruler was stabbed backstage at the Los Angeles festival they were both due to perform at.

Drakeo, an up-and-coming L.A. rapper, died after being stabbed at around 8.30 pm on Saturday at the city’s Once Upon a Time in LA event in Exposition Park.

Snoop was in his dressing room at the time of the incident, but his and 50 Cent’s sets were cancelled out of respect for the slain hip-hop star.

Paying tribute to Drakeo on Twitter the next day, Snoop wrote: “I’m saddened by the events that took place last night at the Once Upon a Time in LA festival. My condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Drakeo the Ruler. I’m not with anything negative and as one of the many performers, I was there to spread positive vibes only to my city of LA.

“Last night I was in my dressing room when I was informed about the incident and chose to immediately leave the festival grounds. My prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragedy.”

He ended his message by writing, “Please take care, love one another and stay safe ya’ll. IM PRAYING FOR PEACE IN HIP HOP.”

The 28-year-old, whose real name was Darrell Caldwell, had been scheduled to perform at the event.

A source told the Los Angeles Times that he was attacked on the festival site by a group of people.

He was then taken to hospital in a critical condition, and he later died.

A spokesperson for the festival’s promoter, Live Nation, said:

“There was an altercation in the roadway backstage. Out of respect for those involved and in coordination with local authorities, artists and organizers decided not to move forward with remaining sets so the festival was ended an hour early.”

Big Sean Says Billionaire Ye Owes Him $6 Million Bucks

Big Sean has claimed his mentor Kanye West owes him $6 million.

During an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, Kanye said signing Sean to his record label G.O.O.D. Music was “the worst thing I’ve ever done” and blasted him for a lack of support during his failed presidential bid last year.

Sean sat down for his own interview on Drink Champs over the weekend and called West’s comments “a personal attack for no reason” and said he doesn’t understand why his mentor would make “hurtful” remarks when he has been “loyal to a fault.”

The 33-year-old, who left the label in October to set up his own, then went on to allege that Kanye West and his company owe him a lot of money.

“I had to spend my own money auditing my label, ’cause millions of dollars are missing and you can tell when millions of dollars are missing. I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on my label, thinking Universal owe me this money and the money had been paid to G.O.O.D Music,” he said. “Universal paid the money that I’m owed to G.O.O.D. Music.”

He then asked the hosts, “Let me ask you bro, if someone owed you $500,000 how would you feel?” before gradually increasing the amount in his question to $6 million.

“What if they owed you that, bro? And you showed up for them and you did all these things, and they have billions?” he continued, adding that he doesn’t know if the rapper is even aware of it.

“Because when I see him I respect him enough not to be bringing that s### up to his face in the middle of Sunday Service. I’m not gonna be like, ‘What’s up? You owe me $6 million dollars.’… I got an auditor, this isn’t me making up a number,” he insisted.

Big Sean also claimed that West promised to give his artists back their masters but it hasn’t happened yet, adding that it would “benefit (him) a lot.”

Is Tory Lanez Confident About The Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case?

“It’s an open and shut case!”

This is what everybody said early on when Megan Thee Stallion proclaimed that she was shot by her fellow rapper Tory Lanez. That was a remarkable turn of events when they were out in a night of drunken partying!

I got some news for y’all. I don’t know that Megan Thee Stallion is going to be able to put Tory Lanez in jail the way she wants to. We have had some off-the-record conversations with some folks that are representing Tory Lanez and they are extremely confident that he did not shoot her. They are so confident that he did not shoot her, that they are willing to go to trial on this. They believe that she is straight-up lying about being shot by him. He has maintained a certain cocky demeanor when discussing the case too, even when he was facing cancellation and a terrible reputation as a human being.

They are willing to go to trial because they, according to these off-the-record conversations, have the facts on their side. They WANT the facts to be introduced in court. When the facts are introduced, as they see it, they feel that not only will he be exonerated in court, but he will also repair his public reputation.

But will he?

By the way, Meg is pounding away in the public on social media that she was SHOT. Tory is NOT allowed to do that, legally.

I hope she still likes kissing girls.

Cancel culture often sticks to the narrative and definitely does not say sorry. So, we’ll see! I hope she isn’t lying. I also hope he did not shoot her. Lastly, I hope THE TRUTH prevails, whatever that is! We need healing vibes and the truth!

That said Meg has had a crazy glowup since all this happened, most notably graduating from college!

Why Ascend Music Group Is the Next Big Player in the Industry

For ages, music labels have been artists’ gateway to stardom. These labels not only become a launchpad for budding artists but also define their identities in the public eye. In the modern world, a music label is not only responsible for landing stars’ shows and concerts – it becomes an extension of their personalities. Only a few labels have achieved the status of covering all the artists’ professional requisites and are committed to providing everything to scale up careers. Ascend Music Group is the new addition to the list that has already got top artists lining up to be signed.

Within a short period, Ascend Music Group has emerged as the hot new label for aspiring artists to launch themselves. Although new in this space, Ascend Music Group guarantees results by meeting all the criteria that an artist needs to shoot to stardom. Unlike most labels in the industry, Ascend Music Group allows long-term flexibility in its contracts. This allows the artist to work on multiple projects, including those separate from the label. Aside from this, Ascend Music Group ensures frequent releases and active media coverage to make sure the artist never moves out of the limelight.

Ascend Music Group’s contracts have limited recording commitments to let the artists work only at their convenience. While some music labels want to squeeze out the most from their artists based on a contract, Ascend Music Group is making a difference with artist-friendly policies. Since the label’s inception, the founders have focused on paying the artists well so they feel motivated. The artist is already offered a handsome advance, followed by the remaining amount at the time of signing the contract. To keep things simple and convenient for the artist, Ascend Music Group has kept limited merch rights and touring loyalty in its contract.

Apart from all these positive factors, every contract with Ascend Music Group includes complete tour support to the artist. This not only gives a tour a professional touch but also waives certain crucial management and planning tasks for the artist. Ascend Music Group wants to go beyond professionalism to add value to its artists’ careers. For this, Ascend Music Group funds almost all additional involvements like studio sessions, sound engineers, and even photoshoots to fast-track the production process.

What separates Ascend Music Group from faux labels in the industry is its artists’ extensive media publicity. From hiring a press secretary to getting a professional bio, everything is provided by the label. It doesn’t end there. Ascend Music Group organizes campaigns, concerts, and live performances to promote the artist on different media channels. The artist’s records are distributed both physically and through online music platforms to ensure it reaches its target audience nationwide.

To keep the contract as flexible as possible, Ascend Music Group always makes the next move after confirmation from the artist. The artist never feels burdened or liable by any means to work after collaborating with Ascend Music Group. The label is working to introduce more features to ensure its artists stand out in the industry in all respects.

Currently, Ascend Music Group is looking for unique talent. The label has everything it needs to offer artists the best launching platform to scale up their careers in the music industry. To Ascend Music Group, an artist is not just about creating a trend but an icon to inspire generations.

How D’usé Saida Overcame a Series of Challenges to become a Rising Music Artist

Challenges are an inevitable part of the journey to success. Those challenges that are overcome become lessons, and those that aren’t, become experiences. Music artist, singer, and songwriter D’usé Saida is a perfect example. Raised on a farm with no one in the family who was even vaguely musically inclined, she worked her way to the top in the industry. Currently, D’usé Saida is a sought-after artist collaborating with famous bands and rolling out timeless singles. Like her success, her challenges were not commonplace, but she got through them to chase her passion and become the star she is today.

D’usé Saida is formally known as Hanna Dus, but she adopted her stage name a few years back when she left her home in Massachusetts to follow her dreams. Growing up on a farm, Saida never limited her goals to her surroundings. She was always passionate about music and started playing instruments like the violin, piano, and guitar at the age of 5. Saida never missed an opportunity to attend extra music classes during her school days to hone her craft. She grew up listening to different artists and genres. Erykah Badu, MIA, and Amy Winehouse have profoundly influenced her style, and that’s the reason Saida was able to set her bar so high.

After college, D’usé Saida realized that her hometown did not have good opportunities for a musician to grow. She moved to Brooklyn, New York, to shape her career. Initially, it was difficult for her to survive on her own, but she kept working hard to accomplish her goals. One by one, her dreams started turning into reality after the release of her debut single “Toxic” in November 2019. The groovy music with catchy tunes garnered a positive response from music lovers. It became a huge boost for D’usé Saida to carry on and roll out more timeless singles.

All her songs, namely “Hanna Banana,” “Madame Ponsardin,” “In My basket,” “VMB,” “SWIPE 3X,” and “Call Ya Bluff,” were well-received. So far, “Madame Ponsardin,” D’usé Saida’s first music video, has been special to her because of its concept, which was inspired by Erykah Badu’s “Other Side of the Game.” To date, Saida has worked with some of the top names in the industry. She has also written songs for the popular artist Serena Rigacci.

D’usé Saida‘s talented team has hugely contributed to her success. She has collaborated with prominent names like Leftbrain, The Wav, MusicmanTy, LaChaleur, MuddiGold, and Lang Father. Ace photographers and stylists like Marc Baptiste, Cavier Art, Love & Mercy Magazine, Ebony Brown Style, Epperson, and many more are behind D’usé Saida’s killer music videos.

Even after achieving her goal of becoming an artist, things were not always easy for Saida. The pandemic-related shutdowns were a big setback for her career, with live shows being postponed indefinitely. Initially, it took a toll on her mental and emotional health, but Saida soon overcame it. She used the time to hone her craft and become unstoppable with her future projects.

D’usé Saida’s journey from a farm in Massachusetts to a promising star in the music industry can inspire budding artists to chase their dreams. She aspires to be a role model to women around the world and uses her music to motivate people to fearlessly follow what they believe in.

Mariah Carey Explains How Prince Inspired Her To Help Britney Spears During Horrific Conservatorship

Mariah Carey reached out Britney Spears when she was under her conservatorship to assure her she wasn’t alone.

The “Toxic” hitmaker was under the legal arrangement, which prevented her from making her own decisions about her finances and personal affairs, from 2008 until November this year.

During an interview with NME, Mariah was asked if she felt an “affinity” with Britney as she also battled a controlling music industry and faced family betrayals.

In response, she revealed she got in touch with the singer as it felt like “the right thing to do.”

“I’m not sure it’s an affinity,” she replied. “I think everybody on this planet deserves to be free and what they did to her, what I saw, was horrific. So I reached out to her through a mutual friend because I wanted her to know: ‘Guess what? You’re not alone.'”

She went on to reveal that Purple Rain icon Prince reached out to her when she went through a difficult patch a long time ago.

“I remember when I was going through a lot of stuff years ago, Prince reached out to me and gave me a Bible and he talked to me for hours,” she recalled. “He’s an amazing person and he cared about the music business and the industry being so screwed up – which it is. You’ve got to be a giving person. It doesn’t matter whether they’re my best friend or whatever, I just felt like it was the right thing to do.”

In her 2020 memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” the pop diva claimed that her older sister Alison drugged her with V#####, offered her cocaine and tried to sell her to pimp when she was only 12, allegations Alison has denied.

She also opened up about her controlling marriage to first husband, former Sony Music CEO Tommy Mottola, and working to the point of exhaustion.

Drakeo The Ruler’s Girlfriend Mourns His Death: “This Loss Is Unbearable”

Noel Bianca, the girlfriend of Drakeo The Ruler, opened up about his death on social media.

In a tribute posted on Instagram, Noel Bianca reflected on her relationship with Drakeo The Ruler. She described losing him as being “unbearable.”

“Darrell you knew everything about me and still loved me,” she wrote. “I will miss our drunk nights, our arguments over nothing, u singing Sam Smith to me in the car, holding my hand 24/7, massaging my feet, staring at me while I’m sleeping. This loss is unbearable.”

A few hours later, Noel Bianca continued to grieve Drakeo The Ruler via Instagram. She captioned a photo of the two holding hands with a message to her late boyfriend.

“I will follow you anywhere you lead me,” she wrote to Drakeo The Ruler. “Even if the path is painful to get thru. I know you will be by my side baby.”

The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name was Darrell Caldwell, was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed during a backstage altercation. He was pronounced dead on Sunday.

Billionaire Kanye West On His Way To Being Homeless

Kanye West plans to become homeless – or at least his idea of being homeless.

In an interview with the German magazine 032c, Kanye West claimed he’s converting all of his mansions into churches. As a result, the billionaire will no longer have a home in the traditional sense.

“I’m going to be homeless in a year,” he said. “I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches. We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go.”

Kanye West told the magazine his grand scheme is something similar to an artist commune. Ye thinks he’s found a way to disrupt the status quo.

“We are under capitalist rule, and it’s killing us,” he said. “It’s time to change that.”

Kanye West previously mentioned his desire to be homeless in his infamous Drink Champs interview. Ye told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN about how he wanted to have no house yet still have a place to stay wherever he goes.

“This is my vision on life,” he said on Drink Champs. “To not even have to have a house and have a place to stay in every single city, every single country that I could go to and somebody’s like, ‘You could stay here. You could sleep here.’”

Kim Kardashian And Pete Davidson Do Dinner And A Movie

Pete Davidson showed rumored girlfriend Kim Kardashian around his native Staten Island for their latest date night over the weekend.

The “Saturday Night Live” comedian took the KKW Beauty mogul out for dinner at local hotspot Angelina’s Ristorante on Saturday.

Kardashian’s sister Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick, also joined the couple and others, according to the restaurant’s owner Vincent Malerba.

“Thank you Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, Scott Disick & others for having dinner at Angelina’s last night,” Malerba captioned an image of himself with the couple on Instagram. “Truly great to serve, come back anytime.”

Davidson, 28, was not on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend as the NBC show filmed with a reduced cast and no audience as a precaution due to the spike in Covid-19 cases in New York.

Instead, he enjoyed a romantic night with the 41-year-old reality TV star, as an eyewitness told the New York Post’s Page Six they also headed to a local cinema.

Kardashian and Davidson were first romantically linked back in October when they were pictured holding hands on a date at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California.

They have since been spotted on dates in New York City – where he grew up and films Saturday Night Live – but they are yet to confirm the relationship.

The funnyman overcame a difficult childhood living in Staten Island, as he struggled with the trauma of losing his dad, a firefighter, in the 9/11 terror attacks.

He paid homage to his home New York borough with his 2020 film “The King of Staten Island.”

Man Arraigned For Killing Nicki Minaj’s Dad; D.A. Speaks On “Heinous” Crime

The man who killed Nicki Minaj’s father in a hit and run accident last year has been indicted by Nassau County, D.A.

As the family mourns, they are also seeking justice.

According to the Nassau County District Attorney’s office, Charles Polevich, a white man from Mineola, was arraigned on December 17th.

He was indicted for the death of Robert Maraj by a grand jury last month on November 16th.

Polevich stood before Judge Howard Sturim on a Felony D charge that contends he left the scene of an accident without reporting it and a Felony E charge for tampering with evidence.

According to the indictment, the 71-year-old hit Nicki’s dad at the intersection of Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue in Mineola in February of 2021.

It is reported that Maraj was walking on the side of Roslyn Road when the accident took place. After the man hit Maraj with his 1992 White Volvo, he got out of the car, looked at him, got back in the car, and drove away.

“After seeing Robert Maraj severely injured on the ground, this defendant allegedly committed a most heinous act – he simply walked away,” Acting D.A. Joyce A. Smith explained. “Rather than aid the man he struck, the defendant allegedly drove home and hid his vehicle, while Maraj died from his injuries. NCDA will continue to hold drivers accountable when they strike innocent pedestrians and flee the scene, preventing the investigation into the condition of the driver at the time of the crash.”

Polevich is set to stand before the court on January 21st, 2022. If convicted on the highest charge, he faces up to 7 years in prison.

Polevich is also being sued for $150 million by Nicki’s mom Carol Maraj, who is represented by the high-powered lawyer, Ben Crump.

“Polevich’s behavior was criminal, cowardly, and immoral. We will hold him responsible for his reckless actions that led to Robert Maraj’s death!” Ben Crump said.
