Jake Paul Pulled Down Over Eight Figures After Beating Tyron Woodley

Former YouTuber and now boxing draw Jake Paul is out here caking off his matchups.

The social media phenom has said that he got an “eight-figure payday” for winning the fight against UFC fighter, Tyron Woodley.

According to DailyMailTV, Jake Paul’s victory over Woodley made him more money than Golden Boy Bernard Hopkins is worth.

Why are people locking in to support him and his brother? It’s simple. They speak the language of Y.

The 24-year-old is a member of Generation Y, a population that has flipped the rules through technology and social media to benefit themselves.

They love a story about a guy learning his lesson and then defeating the odds.

Paul shared with DailyMailTV host Thomas Roberts that he is making the big bucks because he is disciplined.

“The money is great, the business is great, it is. I work blood, sweat, and tears in the gym, but this is a product of working day in and day out since I was 17 years old,” Jake Paul said.

But it wasn’t always easy and at times, his “problem child” image added to the chaos around his name and brand. And while social media is where his career was launched, it also has steely waters that pose the most threat to his empire.

He said, “The internet is a ruthless place where you’re never really held accountable for your actions.”

“I’ve transcended the traditional media landscape into mainstream business success, not one bit of it which I take for granted,” said Jake Paul, who now has an estimated net worth of $40 million.

“I think a lot of people in today’s generation, especially celebrities, don’t want to admit to doing something wrong,” he concluded “But I’m perfectly OK with that.”

Jamie Foxx Explains How The Lockdown Helped Him After His Sister’s Death

Jamie Foxx has admitted his sister’s death “took the life out” of him.

The actor’s sibling DeOndra Dixon died aged 36 last October and he admits the pandemic has been “terrible for a lot of people.”

“Listen, the pandemic was terrible for a lot of people – including me – on the home front,” Jamie tells the October issue of Men’s Health U.K.

“I started out a little crazy. Like, ‘Get away from the windows, COVID is right outside!’ I was that. And then we got hit bad with my sister passing away (last October). That just took the life out of me. I still can hear my sister’s voice, laugh, and stuff like that.

“But at the same time, it did allow me to lock down and get things done artistically that I may not have gotten an opportunity to do… COVID gave me a therapeutic opportunity.”

Jamie also opened up on his own legacy, and insisted the best scenario would be seeing his own children – daughters Corinne, 27, and Anelise, 12 – find their own successes in life.

He added: “I can only say that you hope with everything that your kids can really be successful, really have their own thing, their own identity.

“I think that’s what we call a legacy. Everybody that you see who’s a parent, you look to the kids to see how things turn out – especially in my business.

“You can see somebody so successful and then see everything around them that might not be. So, I think, if we’re able to have them have their own, I think that’s what you would consider legacy.”

And the star admitted he tries to let his children know what he’s been through and the struggles he’s faced in life.

He said: “The toughest thing in the world is doing whatever you do, and maybe being successful at it, but not being sure-footed with your kids.

“It’s a look at my life and how I grew up, what I went through, and how it prepared me, or didn’t prepare me, for when I had kids.” (CDG/BAN/DMC)

Usher’s CBS Series “The Activist” Canceled After Intense Criticism

Usher’s new show “The Activist” will not be aired as planned.

After receiving negative social media attacks, the network decided to pull the program from its schedule.

“The Activist” was a CBS competition series where various community activists competed against each other on TV for a prize for their cause.

The challenges are said to have been designed to promote various causes that they champion. However, since the announcement of the show, social activists online have criticized the premise of the show.

Hosted by Usher, Priyanka Chopra-Jones, and Julianne Hough and produced partners Global Citizen and Live Nation, “The Activist” has been receiving pushback for months.

“Couldn’t they just give the money it’s going to take to pay this UNBELIEVABLY expensive talent and make this show, directly to activist causes? Rather than turning activism into a game and then giving a fraction of the much needed money away in a ‘prize…?’ People are dying.”

The producers responded and will be changing the competition series into a documentary about the work. In a joint statement the producers reassured the public that they heard the disapproval and have shifted their vision.

“’The Activist’ was designed to show a wide audience the passion, long hours, and ingenuity that activists put into changing the world, hopefully inspiring others to do the same,” they said in a joint statement.

“However, it has become apparent the format of the show as announced distracts from the vital work these incredible activists do in their communities every day,” the statement continued. “The push for global change is not a competition and requires a global effort.”

Global Citizen also issued an apology, stating, “Global activism centers on collaboration and cooperation, not competition. We apologize to the activists, hosts, and the larger activist community — we got it wrong. It is our responsibility to use this platform in the most effective way to realize change and elevate the incredible activists dedicating their lives to progress all around the world.”

Usher, who was hired as host, did not have a statement regarding this change.

He also is not on the creative side of production on “The Activist.” He does have his own community organization, Usher’s New Look which is youth-oriented. The organization is having its virtual Open House on September 23 rd for the NYC Leadership Academy.

The team posted the following on Instagram, “NYC Leadership Academy Open House! Next Thursday, September 23rd at 6 PM, the New York Chapter of Usher’s New Look will host a Virtual Open House for youth interested in joining the program. Youth and families will learn about the NYC Leadership Academy – the application process, what to expect this school year. Also, meet our team and hear from current youth and parents.”

T.I. And Tiny Avoid Charges In L.A. Sexual Assault Case

T.I. and Tiny won’t face criminal charges for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in Los Angeles over 15 years ago.

TMZ reports the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office isn’t moving forward with the case due to statute of limitations. According to prosecutors, the statute of limitations expired after 10 years.

A woman, whose identity is anonymous, filed a police report against Clifford “T.I.” Harris and Tameka “Tiny” Harris in April.

She accused T.I. of penetrating her v##### with his toes without her consent in 2005. In the report, the alleged victim claimed the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife brought her back to their hotel room and gave her a drugged drink.

T.I. and Tiny’s attorney Shawn Holley issued a statement to AllHipHop following the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s decision. The couple’s lawyer maintained the woman’s accusations were false.

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris are pleased, but not surprised, by the District Attorney’s decision to dismiss these meritless allegations,” Holley told AllHipHop. “We appreciate the DA’s careful review of the case and are grateful to be able to put the matter behind us and move on.”

T.I. and Tiny, who have denied all allegations of sexual assault against them, also benefitted from the statute of limitations expiring in a case in Las Vegas. In May, another woman filed a report accusing the two of drugging and sexually assaulting her after they met at an airport in 2010.

Nevada law now allows for sexual assault cases to be investigated if a report is filed within 20 years. But the law isn’t retroactive, so alleged sexual assaults that occurred prior to 2015 are still subject to the previous statute of limitations, which was four years.

“Based on this, the case was closed, which is standard procedure for crimes reported outside of the statute,” Las Vegas police said.

Judge Won’t Dismiss Defamation Lawsuit Against T.I. And Tiny

A Los Angeles judge has denied T.I. and Tiny’s motion to dismiss their former friend Sabrina Peterson’s defamation lawsuit against the couple.

Peterson is suing Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Tameka “Tiny” Harris and their associate Shekinah Anderson for defamation, invasion of privacy, interference with prospective economic advantage and infliction of emotional distress. Peterson’s attorney Tyrone Blackburn spoke with OnSite to confirm his client’s lawsuit will proceed.

“The case goes on — T.I., Tiny, as well as Shekinah’s anti-SLAPP motion failed and Sabrina is entitled to get justice for the defamation that was visited upon her by the Harrises and Ms. Anderson,” he said.

Anti-SLAPP laws are designed to prevent someone from using the courts and lawsuit threats to stifle a person’s First Amendment rights.

“The next move is on the Harrises to answer the four counts that judge allows,” Blackburn stated.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David Sotelo determined Peterson established a “probability of prevailing” in her claims against Tip, his wife and Anderson. The friend-turned-foe has accused T.I. of holding a gun to her head and threatening to kill her.

Peterson initially publicized the accusations via Instagram in January. In the aftermath, various women began to reach out with sexual abuse allegations against T.I. and Tiny.

The couple has been accused of forced drugging, kidnapping, rape and intimidation. The Los Angeles Police Department began a criminal investigation into the alleged sexual assault in May.

T.I. and Tiny have denied all of the allegations. In an appearance on the Big Facts podcast, Tip maintained his innocence.

“S### didn’t happen,” he proclaimed.

At the Big Facts podcast taping, the Grand Hustle founder also insisted he had complete faith in any investigation.

“They sent that s### to the feds,” he said. “They sent that s### to GBI [Georgia Bureau of Investigation] … I trust any legal, law facility to do their job.”

EXCLUSIVE: Master P Explains The Importance Of Black Fatherhood

Master P was excited to participate in the Oprah Winfrey Network’s “OWN Spotlight: They Call Me Dad” specials, which champion Black fatherhood.

In an interview with AllHipHop, Master P discussed the significance of portraying Black fathers in a positive light on television. The No Limit Records founder also noted his desire to be a good representative of dads in Hip-Hop.

“I think a lot of shows do a lot of negativity when you talk about dads, especially dads that come from the Hip-Hop world,” P told AllHipHop. “And to be able to spotlight and show something positive about fathers that are definitely being responsible and taking care of kids, that’s like the most important thing that I have to do is be a dad to my kids.”

He added, “I got a lifetime commitment to them. And to be able to be on the show with all these other great dads that are handling their business, this is just so important to spotlight that and show that. So, the next generation of dads know that it’s OK to do the right thing. And it’s OK to have mothers that are supporting dads that are doing the right thing. So, I salute all the fathers out there.”

Master P believes OWN’s specials can stand out in the crowded television market. While drama and negativity often drive interest in reality shows, the rap mogul thinks positivity can still shine.

“This show is incredible,” he said. “This is an amazing show. It’s positive. I know a lot of time people say positive don’t sell, but this is real life and this is positive. This is going to be probably one of the top TV shows showcasing African-American fathers that are doing the right thing for their kids. So, this is great content that I’m happy and excited for the world to see.”

OWN’s third installment of “They Call Me Dad” premiered on September 14. The hour-long episode featured P, Mack Wilds, actor Derek Luke and gospel singer Marvin Sapp. Viewers can stream the special on the Discovery+ app.

Messy Boots, Part IV: Keke Palmer’s Man Accused of Forcing Ex-Girlfriend to Have an Abortion

Keke Palmer may stay with a check, but her man stays with some mess.

According to The Jasmine Brand, Darius Daulton Jackson is being accused by his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Marie, of forcing her to get an abortion. The outlet reports that the model was pressured by Jackson to abort the child she was carrying less than a month before he went public with Keke Palmer.

The model shared her allegations in a TikTok story, which was subsequently uploaded to Instagram. You can check it out below.

Taylor Marie then deleted the video, and reuploaded it without mentioning Keke Palmer’s name. However, the damage had already been done, and nothing ever dies on the Internet.

It’s worth noting that Taylor Marie’s TikTok is now private.

It’s unclear how far along Taylor Marie was in her pregnancy, or how serious her relationship with Jackson was before he left her for Palmer. We also don’t even know if the story is true, or if this was yet another attempt at chasing clout. What we do know is that while Jackson hasn’t posted any photos with Taylor Marie — nor has he really been tagged in any photos featuring him and Taylor Marie together — he is very public with Keke Palmer. So, maybe that’s the issue here.

So far, neither Palmer nor Jackson have confirmed or denied the story.

Annotation Website Genius Sold For $80 Million

If you ever needed to know the lyrics of your favorite rap song, you probably have been to the popular Genius site.

While there are plenty of sites that share song lyrics, this platform’s team of Hip-Hop nerds breaks down the meanings behind hits from complicated thinkers like André 3000, Tyler, the Creator, and D Smoke and gives context for street slang from artists like Migos, Pop Smoke and Kash Doll.

Now, the music-annotating startup Genius Media Group Inc has sold its assets for $80 million to MediaLab.Ai Inc., a Santa Monica,
California-based media holding company.

According to Bloomberg, the sale price was less than the total amount the company raised since its inception in 2009.

With the sale to the larger company, a lot of people were let go.

In a statement, the new owners said, “We are restructuring the way in which original content is produced at Genius and as part of that some very talented individuals on the content and production teams were let go.”

Despite the staff being let go, Genius execs believe that this is a good move.

Tom Lehman, co-founder, and chief executive officer of Genius said, “MediaLab’s commitment to investing in artists and fan-driven communities makes them the ideal partner to propel Genius forward. We are immensely grateful to everyone who has made Genius what it is today.”

Genius will be joining others in MediaLab’s portfolio like Worldstarhiphop, Kik, Whisper, and DatPiff.

The new buyer sees a large future for the company, adding in the statement, “The scale of the community platform is what attracted us to Genius and this is where we will be heavily investing going forward, with a renewed focus on emerging artists.”

AK Debris is King in The City Of Canada

AK Debris was born in Sudan but spent most of his days growing up in Saudi Arabia. His upbringing saw the rough reality of his homeland that oppressed freedom of speech and creative will. While already fighting through hardships, he would be subjected to the pain of losing his aunt to the same ruthless regime. This lit a fire within AK Debris, one that motivated him to build a movement on YouTube where his voice held meaning. Hip hop would be introduced to AK Debris after discovering artists like Lil B and Soulja Boy. From that moment forward, he pursued a musical career of his own after migrating to Canada.

He would be hailed as a local celebrity for his originality in the booth, freestyling dope tracks over aggressive dark beats with contrasting high pitch singing. His status in the industry grew along with friends and now famous artists Young Gstar and Tex Armstrong. AK Debris’ style gets him compared to icons like Future, but AK Debris stands in a lane of his own and intends to use his over drowned autotune mumbling to change the game through music, skits, and animated cartoons among others.

His track, “Mayday,” detailing his services from a woman for $20 on Black Friday night is a fan favorite, along with his latest diss track aimed at old friends turned enemies. His celebrity lifestyle is nothing new to him and he plans on continuing to make bank from his very lucrative YouTube cash flow. AK Debris is currently working on more collaborations with his peers like Kasher Quon but also welcomes working with creatives that know the struggle of the come up.

AK Debris respects courage to pursue dreams in life and will continue to use his status to inspire others whose voices and creativity are being stifled. Be sure to follow his projects and future collaborations.

Chelly Flame Teams Up with Spinabenz on Her Latest Single, “Red Shirt”

After delivering her successful debut track as a Babygrande Records artist earlier this year, Chelly Flame returns with her follow-up single titled, “Red Shirt.” The Guap God Kraft-produced track sees Chelly and Spinabenz trade-off fiery verses over a hard-hitting trap beat. Chelly kicks things off with a raucous verse before filtering into Spinabenz’s section, and he picks up with the same intensity and energy that Chelly left off with.

Alongside Spinabenz, Chelly puts on a special performance on her sophomore single with Babygrande Records. She’s not backing down from the moment; if anything, a feature from a high-profile artist like Spinabenz has motivated her even more. Earlier this year, Spinabenz made plenty of noise with his track, “Who I Smoke,” which went viral and significantly boosted his following. He’s an artist who does not move quietly: he’s very active on social media and has created plenty of buzz with his music.

“Red Shirt” premieres with a music video that brings the song to life, as Chelly and Spinabenz captivate their viewers. Directed by MontanaShotYa, Chelly puts forth an image that mirrors her ability on the mic – she always appears composed and charismatic. Chelly can compete with any rapper in today’s game: her wordplay is nothing short of elite-level and she packages each bar with impressive confidence.

It’s not often that a new artist emerges with such a commanding grip on their sound and style, but Chelly Flame has done exactly that. She stands out among the surplus of talent in the rap game, delivering her lyrics with the expertise of a savvy veteran. Between her debut single, “Big Flame,” and her new track, “Red Shirt,” Chelly is proving to fans and listeners that she’s here to stay.

Ashanti Shuts Down Nelly Rumor By Confirming A New Relationship

Ashanti has dismissed rumors of a reunion with ex-boyfriend Nelly, insisting she’s in a happy relationship with someone else.

Fans were quick to start speculating about a potential reconciliation between the exes as Nelly was seen walking across the stage to hug Ashanti during Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s recent Verzuz battle.

However, as she spoke to Fat Joe, Ja Rule and Remy Ma on Instagram Live, Ashanti set the record straight about where things stand between her and Nelly.

“Listen, there’s nothing happening,” she said. “Now look, this is the crazy part. I had no idea he was gonna be there and I haven’t seen him or spoken to him since we broke up. Six years or something? So, I didn’t know what to expect. I seen him move you out the way.

“Listen, I wasn’t expecting it. And that’s the crazy thing! I seen his eyes get big and I didn’t know what was gonna happen. I didn’t know what to expect. It was positive.”

Ja then commented that “Nelly’s single now” – he recently ended his relationship with Shantel Jackson – to which Ashanti responded: “Yeah, but I ain’t! So…”

She also admitted that things are still complicated between her and Nelly, as she explained: “It’s a lot of stuff that happened. It’s a lot of stuff. It’s a lot of stuff unresolved. A lot of grey areas. A lot of confusion.”

Fat Joe then called time on the conversation, saying he wasn’t interested in getting “messy” with details of Ashanti and Nelly’s split.

Ashanti and Nelly started dating after meeting at a Grammy Awards press conference in January 2003, and were one of the music industry’s hottest couples until they broke up in 2013.

Lil Twin Talks ‘Soufside Hector 2’ For The Trenches, Dating Blac Chyna & Schizo Clothing Line

On Lil Twin’s single “Innocent,” he spits, “I go stupid on a beat, b#### I’m illiterate. We came up from public housing and Section 8, now I make sure every ngga in my section ate. Bust down an AP and show up hella late, show them nggas that look up to me how to elevate.”

Lil Twin is here to bring all the vibes, creating his own genre titled ‘Trap & B’. Currently residing in Los Angeles, the rising star gained first notoriety as one half of musical duo Team Twin alongside his twin brother Twin Twin, releasing Platinum records such as “We Get Turnt Up” featuring Mr. HotSpot. Having built their fanbase organically online on both Youtube and social media, real name Taiyon Hector now steps into the limelight as his own solo artist.

In describing himself, Twin states he’s “just a young bull from Dayton, Ohio, later moved to Atlanta. Just a hardworking, basketball player ass n*gga. S###, music is my life. I rap, I sing. I put my all into this s###. I’m pretty simple. All I do is record music and f###### play basketball all day.”

Earlier this year, Twin unleashed his highly-anticipated new project titled Soufside
Hector 2

AllHipHop: You still hoop, did you play professionally at all?

Lil Twin: I actually turned down 15 full rides for chasing my dreams. I got tired of f###### reports and papers and s###, I didn’t want to do all that. I just wanted to play. It feels great because I know I’m still going into the league, I still got it. I hoop with professionals everyday. I train nonstop. I’m in the studio nonstop, all day, everyday. Just turning money around. I like to turn a dollar into 15 cents.

AllHipHop: You came up as part of musical duo Twin Twin right?

Lil Twin: Yes, I have an actual twin brother. We made music as a duo, we do music as solo artists. We were born partners regardless, so it’s going to be there regardless.

AllHipHop: Are y’all still making music?

Lil Twin: Hell yeah, he’s on his way out here right now. He’s coming from Florida, he’s flying from Florida today.

AllHipHop: Is that how you got your name?

Lil Twin: Just being a twin and because I grew up on that Lil Wayne s###. He was a big influence on me so s###, I’m taking Lil Twin.

AllHipHop: Besides Lil Wayne, was there anyone else you looked up to?

Lil Twin: I’m a fan of good music. If the song’s hard, it’s hard. It was the Meek Mill’s, the Drake’s, the Big Sean’s, the NWA’s, the Snoop’s. I’m a fan of good music, Eminem, Pac, Big, m############ J.Cole. Even down to the new s###. I’m f###### with both the Baby’s: Dababy, Lil Baby. EST Gee, Gotti, Gunna, everybody in this s###.

AllHipHop: How did you create this Trap&B lane?

Lil Twin: S###, because I’m so exposed to the trenches all day. That’s my lifestyle. Everybody around me, I never seen nobody work the females like we do. I inevitably had to f###### do some s### that the women would like. That’s my lifestyle, I’d be lying if I wasn’t trying to cater to the ladies. I’d be lying if I wasn’t saying I ain’t in the trenches everyday. F### it, and a n*gga can actually sing? Alright bet, I’m going to incorporate my own little lane.

AllHipHop: Let’s get into “Woman’s Worth”! Was that inspired by Chyna or was that recorded before?

Lil Twin: It was recorded before, but it was a record in reference to my dreamlike lady. My dreamlike ordeal and I walked myself into that. A lot of the lines in there matched her figure, it’s almost like we had to do it.

AllHipHop: How did you guys meet initially?

Lil Twin: Music, in the studio,. We met in the studio here in LA, through a friend of a friend. One of my good peoples reached out and said “Hey, I’m over here in the studio shooting some PR work”. She was doing PR work for me at the time, doing PR work for Chyna. She said “I’m showing Chyna your s###, she wants to rock out on some music.” I said “Alright, fasho.” She said “Pull up.” I said “alright, just let me know when.” They sent the addy, I pulled up. We did 2 records that night.

AllHipHop: Was “Woman’s Worth” one of them?

Lil Twin: Nuh uh, we did 2 other records. We shoot the video tomorrow, it’s crazy. Facts.

AllHipHop: Is it her song, your song?

Lil Twin: It’s a collab, you gon’ see. [laughs]

AllHipHop: How was it shooting the video with her? It was so beautiful. Y’all on the beach. It was a vibe.

Lil Twin: It was easy! By the time we shot it, we were already in it. We were already in a relationship. It was smooth. It wasn’t “Hey, you’ve got to be a little more touchy-feely. Hey, you’ve got to sell it a little more.” That’s how we do it, we wake up and go to the studio everyday.

AllHipHop: Damn, y’all spend that much time together?

Lil Twin: Literally. Since the day we’ve met, we probably spend about 95% of our time together. To this day, that’s my baby.

AllHipHop: How does it feel to be in love?

Lil Twin: It’s a great feeling. Hell yeah, it’s a great feeling. Love’s supposed to be easy. A lot of m############ be like “Man, one of the toughest things in life is love.” F### it ain’t! That’s toxic, that’s some b#######. That’s somebody’s in it for the wrong reasons type s###. When y’all both in it for the right reasons, no motives, no hidden narratives, that’s s###’s supposed to be easy.

AllHipHop: Best memory from shooting the visual?

Lil Twin: Man, we’ve got a lot of great memories. Everyday spent with each other: going to f###### Mexico, Cancun, Jamaica together. She actually came to my hometown in Dayton, it was love.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CSzmSXxlv7J/

AllHipHop: She met your family?

Lil Twin: Yeah, my family and my family in Atlanta. She be in Atlanta, all our little moments together be hard. We just had our one year anniversary.

AllHipHop: How did y’all celebrate?

Lil Twin: You know I did all that good. I got us a penthouse over the water in Dana Point. I decked it out with a whole lot of our pictures over the last year, rose petals, candles, right over the water. Had a private chef come through, do his little thing. Had a boat the next day, we drove the boat.

AllHipHop: What do you want fans to get from your recent project, Soufside Hector 2?

Lil Twin: Shoot, you get what you get out of it. It got a real trench feeling to it, it got a real trap feeling to it. The next project that I’m about to release within the next month or so, that’s going to be more revealing my feelings. The emotional side, I’m more catering to the ladies.

As far as Soufside Hector 2, that was for the trenches because I’ve been away. I’ve been out here in LA. In my trench where I come from, is damn near Ohio and Atlanta, but I ain’t been really in tune all the way. You know what, I’ve got to give something to my people, where they know me from. That s### was the best thing I did, they eating that s### up.

AllHipHop: What does it mean to be able to make music from the trenches? Because a lot of people don’t make it out.

Lil Twin: I know! It’s a great thing because one, some people aren’t even artistic enough to even create a vibe from being in the trenches. A lot of people want to rap but like a lot of people say, rapping ain’t for everybody. That’s not for you to be the judge of that, that’s for the people to judge that. For the people to be rocking with that s###: I be sitting in the hood, a m########### pull up on me playing my s### or somebody’s riding by me playing my s###, it’s a great feeling. They already know everything real he’s talking about. They really like some witnesses, they know.

AllHipHop: How’s the independent grind?

Lil Twin: S###, it’s great. It is what is. When the time’s right, when the situation presents itself, I’ll f### with a label. But for the most part I’m taking my entire process and I’m taking the heat. I ain’t rushing, I ain’t looking. Whatever’s meant for me, it’s gon’ manifest.

AllHipHop: Are you spiritual?

Lil Twin: I am, very spiritual. I go to church, we pray every night.

AllHipHop: Chyna did say that! What do you guys pray for?

Lil Twin: A peaceful sleep, a restful mind when we are woke. We live in a ballistic world so we try to pray for our sanity. Pray for the kids, pray for our family, our well-being, prosperity, more fortune, everything.

AllHipHop: She told me she falls asleep because your voice is so soothing.

Lil Twin: Type s###, real talk. We’ll be tossing and turning for an hour or some s###, then she’ll come and say “Can you pray for me?” [laughs] I’m like “Alright, fasho.” I pray and next thing you know, [imitates snoring].

AllHipHop: Talk about having your own clothing line Schizo.

Lil Twin: If you ain’t crazy about what the f### you’re doing, then what the f### are you doing? Schizo man, it’s been amazing to me. A lot of people want to start a business or start a clothing line, but they got that spirit of laziness or resistance, getting s### done. When something is really you: if a m########### been doing hands and feets all their life, it’s going to be hard for them to open up a f###### Starbucks because that’s not their lane. If it was down to them saying “Hey, I want to open up a hands and feet nail spa,” it’s more of them so they’re going to do that s###. Me, I’m real life f##### up in the head so I had to do that s###. A lot of people are afraid to express that side. It don’t got to be a bad thing, you’re just like “hey, I’m f##### up in the head.” I’m here, we good.

AllHipHop: You’ve got some drip. Where do you get your fashion inspo?

Lil Twin: This light. Man, I really be picking s### out myself. I try not to be pulling from what people be doing. In order to be the one, you’ve got to be one. I can’t be the one trying to dress like Travis Scott. I can’t be the one trying to dress like Kanye or what Lil Baby got on. I probably follow like 50 people because I try not to be caught up in other people’s worlds. I respect everybody 1000%. I love how everybody gets their s###, but I try to be as original as possible.

AllHipHop: 3 things you need in the studio at all times?

Lil Twin: Gummy bears, the vitamin C orange cough drops, and Hennessy. [laughs] No cap.

AllHipHop: What can we expect next?

Lil Twin: No Love Lost, that’s my Trap&B project that’s being cooked on right now. That s###’s going crazy. The single me and Chyna have, we finna drop.

AllHipHop: What can we expect from the video?

Lil Twin: Some crazy s###, that s### going to be crazy. We’ve been drawing out this video for the last month, it’s finally time now.

AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let the people know?

Lil Twin: Make sure you all get me on all social media platforms @LilTwinOfficial. This ain’t none of that gimmick s###, everything is original. I already know you’re going to f### with it. It’s on the natural side of things. I ain’t here to force nobody to f### with my s###. I know that naturally, my s### is fuckwitable.

Nikita Dragun Drags Asian Da Brat While Promoting New Single, Says ‘Trans Women Are The Future’

Nikita Dragun is coming for everybody’s head.

And it’s all to promote her new single, “Dick.”

First, let’s start out by showing you the preview of the video, which you can check out below.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CT3obr5FOT5/

So, here’s what happened between the two, in a nutshell. Apparently, Asian Da Brat (Asian Doll) made a slick comment about Nikita Dragun. Dragun replied by telling her that she was wearing something she already wore before. This, apparently, got Asian in her feelings, and she blocked Nikita Dragun.

This prompted Dragun to go on a posting spree, where she shared comments from her fans, before concluding with “trans women are the future.”

If nothing else, that comment is going to drag (no pun intended) out the usual homophobic suspects. I’m quite confident that Boosie is already drafting up a remark, much to the chagrin of his long-suffering publicist.

But on another note, I don’t know why y’all can’t live and let live. What does other folks’ private business have to do with you? We’ve certainly tolerated enough misogyny in hip-hop (and other genres, for that matter) for long enough. No one had anything to say when women were being referred to as “b######” and “hoes,” getting disrespected, and getting killed. Future can commit reproductive abuse and he’s quoted in Instagram memes like he’s the g#ddamn Pope.

But let a trans woman say that trans women are the future — let that woman lift other women up — and watch the most otherwise ignorant of men turn into Dr. Umar Johnson with a sprinkle of Minister Farrakhan for good measure. I simply cannot.

Anyway, hit the slideshow below. And download Nikita Dragun’s “Dick.”

Michael K. Williams Laid To Rest In Pennsylvania

Michael K. Williams has been laid to rest.

The actor – who was best known for playing Omar Little in “The Wire” – was tragically found dead at his home in Brooklyn, New York, on September 6.

On Wednesday (September 15), a funeral service took place St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where his late mother, Paula, lived.

The live-streamed service was attended by celebrities including Queen Latifah, “The Wire” co-creator David Simon and stars of the show Felicia Pearson (Snoop), Andre Royo (Bubbles) and Jamie Hector (Marlo), who joined the star’s close friends and family.

Johnathan Branam, funeral manager at Hooper Memorial Home, told local news outlet The Patriot-News: “He came to Harrisburg as often as he could.

“He loved his mama. Harrisburg embraced him as an adopted son.”

Marianna Shafran, his long-time representative, announced the sad news of her client’s sudden passing last week.

She said in a statement: “It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy-nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams. They ask for your privacy while grieving this insurmountable loss.”

Michael received his fifth primetime Emmy nomination for his work on the series Lovecraft Country and was due to be in Los Angeles this week to attend the big award show on Sunday (September 19) with his castmates.

TheOfficialBron Has A Banger With “Tough”

TheOfficialBron (real name Matthew Lebron) has promised to deliver towards the end of 2021 and all of 2022. Although “Tough” was released back in December of 2020 on the album “The Come Up”, it quickly became TheOfficialBron’s top streamed song.

The album is full of hit songs that were made with ease from TheOfficialBron’s versatility skills, but this one song has a unique flavor to it. This song explains a specific situation that he was in back home when he had a close call with the authorities and was lucky to be able to get out of that jam.

Since the release of this album, he has not released any new music as he is doing other behind the scene important things at the moment that will help his music career, label “Alpha No Beta”, his military career and his educational career as well.

This multi-talented artist has a few tricks up his sleeve that will definitely have his fans understand the reason for waiting for new music.

EXCLUSIVE: Cardi B Wins Small Victory Against Disgruntled Tattooed Man; Granted New Trial Date

Rap star Cardi B. just caught a break in her battle against a man who claims she stole his back tattoo. The rapper convinced the judge overseeing the case to push the trial back until February 2021.

The Bronx rapper is locked in a $5 million legal battle with a man named Kevin Michael Brophy Jr. Brophy claims Cardi launched her career off of his back – literally.

The rapper’s graphic designer superimposed Brophy’s distinctive back tattoo of a snake and a tiger on another model to make the cover of her debut mixtape “Gangsta B#### Music Volume 1.”

Brophy says his life was ruined and he was humiliated by the cover which features Cardi B. swigging at 40 ounce of beer while receiving oral sex from the buff model.

The pair have sat down at the settlement table numerous times since Brophy filed his lawsuit in 2017, but they have not been able to resolve their dispute.

Last week, AllHipHop broke the news that the judge overseeing the case surprised both parties when he set a trial date for October 26th, 2021.

In a letter obtained by AllHipHop, Cardi wrote to Judge Cormac Carney begging him for more time for two different reasons.

First off, Cardi noted that she had just given birth on September 4th, and was worried about the impact traveling to California from New York, would have on her growing family.

She also said the risk of catching the coronavirus was too high, thanks to the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant.

But the biggest reason she was asking for a delay, is because of her upcoming trial against vlogger Tasha K, whom she is doing for defamation.

The rapper is set to square off against Tasha K. on November 9th and the trial date of October 26th gave her little time to prepare for the battle with Tasha K, which is taking place in a courtroom in Atlanta.

Kevin Michael Brophy’s lawyers took a loss in this round, thanks to Judge Carney’s ruling. His legal team was hoping to have the trial set for December of 2021.

Brophy’s team argued that setting a trial date before the end of the year would incentivize the rapper’s legal team to settle.

The next round of settlement talks between Kevin Michael Brophy and Cardi B is slated for October 15th.

If the dispute is not resolved after their next meetup, Judge Carney will preside over a trial, which is now on the books and officially slated for February 1, 2022.

The stakes are high for Cardi B. In addition to asking for $5 million, Kevin Michael Brophy is asking a judge to reward him a percentage of everything Cardi B has made since the release of “Gangsta B#### Music Volume 1.”

Cardi, born Belcalis Almanzar, claims Brophy is nothing but a disgruntled surf shop worker who is attempting to extort her.
