Clipse Look Back On Historic Vatican Performance: “It Was A Moment for Us”

Clipse reflected on making Hip-Hop history after becoming the first rap act to perform at the Vatican during the “Grace for the World” concert in St. Peter’s Square on September 13.

Performing in front of more than 253,000 attendees, Pusha T and Malice took the stage with a live gospel choir and performed “The Birds Don’t Sing,” featuring John Legend, a reflective track from their latest album Let God Sort Em Out.

The song pays tribute to their late parents and marked a deeply personal moment for the duo in one of the most sacred venues on Earth.

“It was definitely a moment for us,” Malice told VIBE. “I think we definitely broke ground. It’s overdue and past time that people understand that Hip-Hop belongs everywhere. It’s expression, it’s communication, it teaches the world about our culture.”

He continued, “It’s an art form that’s celebrated in every walk of life. It’s nothing that should be surprising — we should be celebrated everywhere.”

Pharrell Williams, a longtime Clipse collaborator and friend, produced the Vatican event.

Pusha T reflected on how far the genre has come since its early days, when it was often dismissed by mainstream institutions.

“I’ve been here for a long time with Hip-Hop, and I remember it not being seen as an art, and it not being televised,” he said. “And like you said, now being at the Vatican — we do this so everyone can see how far it can go.”

Released in July, Let God Sort Em Out marked Clipse’s first album in 14 years and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Vatican concert, held on September 13, is now available to stream on Disney+.

Cardi B Claims Bia Used Ghostwriter For “Whole Lotta Money” & Has Receipts To Prove It

Cardi B lit up a Twitter Spaces session Wednesday night (October 8) with claims Bia didn’t write her breakout hit “Whole Lotta Money” and that she has the reference track on her phone to prove it.

“Your biggest record, [WHOLE LOTTA MONEY], is a reference,” Cardi said during the heated rant. “I have the reference on my phone… word for word, bar for bar. So y’all can’t even play me with that writing s###.”

The Bronx rapper didn’t stop there. She claimed the track was originally offered to her before she passed on it.

“I got the ‘WHOLE LOTTA MONEY’ record,” she added. “That s### was sent to me first, and I dubbed it. And I have the reference track.”

The verbal firestorm came after Bia dismissed Cardi’s diss on “Pretty & Petty,” a track from her 2025 album Am I the Drama?, during a recent interview on Hot 97.

“Girl, go enjoy your pregnancy,” she said, brushing off the jab and insisting she didn’t want to escalate the situation. Bia also implied that Cardi B uses a ghostwriter.

But Cardi wasn’t buying the peace talk, pointing out that Bia had no problem throwing accusations while she was pregnant.

“Y’all thought I was an easy target to pick on, and I’m not. I’ll go toe to toe with you b###### in the street and in the booth,” she said.

Cardi also accused Bia of spreading a rumor that she had been unfaithful to Offset during their marriage.

She said Bia only pushed that narrative after trying to stir up drama by accusing Cardi of copying her style—a claim that didn’t gain traction.

Cardi said she had “complete confirmation” that Bia spread the cheating rumor.

She also called out Bia’s hypocrisy, claiming that Bia made the infidelity claim when she was five months pregnant with her daughter, Blossom.

The tension between the two rappers dates back to 2023 when Bia liked a tweet suggesting Cardi was biting her style.

That sparked a series of heated phone calls and soured what had once been a cordial relationship.

The feud has since spilled into the public eye, with both artists trading jabs online and in interviews. As of now, Cardi says she has the proof and isn’t backing down.

‘It’s so embarrassing’: Houston man takes Zelle payment from a customer. He didn’t think he’d have to go into a Chase bank to sort out the financial mess

A Houston TikToker is issuing a warning about accepting Zelle payments from strangers as a means of business transaction.

The TikToker, @ogpdub, says he received a Zelle payment for a service he recently provided. However, after the customer reported the transaction as fraudulent, his Zelle account was shut down entirely. In fact, he filmed the video from a Chase bank branch.

“Be careful who you Zelle, and careful who you allow to Zelle you, alright?” he says. “Because once that person reports fraud, even though they actually—you gave them a service and you charged them and they gave you the money—they can report fraud and get your Zelle account shut down.”

“Now [you] don’t have a Zelle,” he says. “Now people are looking at you like you don’t have a bank account. It’s so embarrassing. I just went through it, man. So, like, be careful who you allow to Zelle you, alright? I’d rather Zelle you, before you Zelle me, because I know I’m not gonna report fraud. I have nothing to report fraud about. I’m paying you for something or giving you money for something, plain and clear. But people will use your account, finesse you, report fraud, and get their money back, and now you’re Zelle-less, alright? So be mindful of that.”

How to Report Fraud to Zelle

There’s some recourse for customers who report fraud, either through Zelle, your bank, or state/federal agencies. But his warning highlights a growing vulnerability in the growing gig economy for the people offering services. While Zelle provides some limited protection for buyers who report fraud, sellers have little recourse when customers exploit the system to get free goods and services.

In fact, if one looks around for answers, the general answer, per Norton, is that “Zelle doesn’t offer fraud protection for authorized payments. If you willingly send money to someone who turns out to be a scammer, there’s a good chance you won’t be able to recover the funds. The best way to protect yourself is to only send money to people you know personally, trust completely, and can verify independently.”

If you are the victim of chargeback fraud, you have a few options. However, there are also some reminders and exceptions to note.

For one, it is not recommended that people use Zelle for their businesses, except for peer-to-peer transactions, such as those on Facebook Marketplace. One reason for this is that Zelle does not have chargebacks or a dispute process. If a customer claims fraud, they must initiate a chargeback through their bank or card network.

Additionally, since no credit cards are involved, the transaction will not be protected under the Fair Credit Billing Act. It won’t be covered by Regulation E, which is part of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, according to chargeback.io, 44% of chargebacks come from friendly fraud, which means the buyer makes a purchase and then claims fraud as an attempt to avoid paying. But then, both they (and the seller) would need to go through a process of providing evidence to back up their side.

Commenters: Be Cautious When Using Zelle

In the comment section of the TikToker’s video, many people made similar claims about being taken advantage of by others through Zelle.

“Yes, someone Zelle’d me and reported it fraud,” said one commenter. “My whole account got [shut down]. They took the money back and [mailed] me a check. Never again!!”

Even a banker said she doesn’t recommend Zelle unless you know that person well. “I am a banker and this is correct!” she said. “Please never Zelle or accept Zelle from someone you don’t know! I recommend money orders [and] cashier’s checks!”

Another banker asked, “Do you have any recommendations during the investigation process?”

“No, the back office will do a full investigation, but until than Zelle becomes complete blocked for the client,” she replied. “I’ve seen many time when customers change numbers. They even try to open a new account and cancel the previous account, but since your social [security number] is tied to the claim that doesn’t help. I always advise to NOT Zelle anyone. It’s very convenient, of course, to just pay someone specially for a service. But to save you form the headache and issues, I always suggest paper trail, which would be a check or a money order.”

Nas Confirms Long-Awaited DJ Premier Album Is Finally Finished: “A Long Time Coming”

Nas has officially broken the silence on his long-discussed collaboration with DJ Premier, revealing that their long-anticipated joint album is finally complete and includes tracks fans have been waiting on for years.

In a conversation with Rolling Stone, the Queensbridge MC said the project pulls from unreleased sessions the duo recorded over time.

“I’m going to say at least two of those ideas happened on this album,” Nas said. “We didn’t get a chance to do ’em when we were talking about ’em, but we finally got a chance to put those recordings together this year.”

While the album title remains under wraps, Nas made it clear this wasn’t just another studio link-up—it’s a reunion decades in the making.

“I can’t wait for people to finally hear it,” Nas said. “I don’t know about anybody else, but for me and him, it was personally a long time coming for us to do it.”

The album’s first single, “Define My Name,” already dropped earlier this year as part of Mass Appeal Records’ Legend Has It series—a year-long celebration of New York’s Hip-Hop elite.

Nas & DJ Premier – Define My Name

The campaign kicked off in June with Slick Rick’s Victory, his first full-length project in over two decades, and has since included new music from Raekwon (The Emperor’s New Clothes) and Ghostface Killah (Supreme Clientele 2).

Next up in the series is Mobb Deep’s Infinite, due October 10, marking the group’s first album since Prodigy’s passing in 2017.

Big L’s posthumous Harlem’s Finest: Return of the King follows on October 31, with a new De La Soul project expected before the year closes.

“It’s 1995 all over again,” Nas told Rolling Stone. “Sometimes I feel like 2025 has that feeling. It’s not going backwards, [it’s] going forward, though.”

He added, “This series is to encourage [and] inspire Hip-Hop and remind us all [of] the pureness of Hip-Hop. I hope that we all can do this together.”

DJ Premier first teased the idea of a full-length collaboration with Nas back in 2013. Over a decade later, the album is finally real—and according to Nas, well worth the wait.

‘I’m definitely checking my room now’: Georgia guests get on Carnival Cruise Line Glory ship. Then they flip over the mattress

A Georgia woman on a Carnival Cruise Line ship found a horrifying thing underneath her mattress: Bed bugs. Here’s how Carnival resolved the situation.

In a video with over 58,000 views, TikTok user @savagemanda89 showed a maid cleaning her room due to the apparent pests. “Never again,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

Based on her video, Carnival did not switch out her room or give her alternate accommodations. Instead, a maid on the ship searched for the bed bugs and “cleaned them” leaving her to return to her dwelling.

So, do Carnival Cruises normally have bed bugs? And what should you do if you find them in your cabin?

‘Never Again’: Bed Bugs on Carnival Cruise Ships

Carnival Cruises admit that bedbugs do occasionally come onboard via guest luggage. When a guest brings their suitcase from a hotel, resort, or even from their home, they might carry with them an unwanted pest. Obviously, that part is outside of the cruise line’s control.

“Carnival Cruise Line has extensive procedures and protocols for the detection and treatment of bedbugs. All Stateroom Attendants are trained to recognize the possible presence of bedbugs and are required to conduct weekly inspections of every cabin,” the company’s website indicates

Apparently, this process doesn’t always end with pristine results. In a 2023 review of the Carnival Liberty, a passenger wrote, “Definitely came home with bed bug bites.”

Another review from 2023 reiterated the fact that you can come home with bed bugs, this time on the Carnival Legend. “I ended up leaving the cruise with bronchitis and bed bugs!! I wish I could send them my Terminix bill,” they wrote.

Carnival Passengers Discuss Bug Problems

In the comments section of the TikTok video, some commenters said they found @savagemanda89’s story hard to believe. “If sure if there were actually bed bugs, the mattress would have immediately been swapped out and the room would have been cleaned and sterilized,” wrote one person.

A TikTok commenter from the original post who also stayed on the Glory said the ship needed “better cleaning.” They said, “These ships need [more time] to clean before boarding [new] passengers. The boat debarks at 8 a.m., and the next group starts getting on around noon. That’s crazy!”

Other apparent Carnival Cruise guests cemented the fact that the ships may have a pest problem. One user wrote, “We just got off that boat Friday! No bed bugs in our room but down the hall, a couple did get bitten up and the management stated it was allergic reaction! But from what?”

There’s a good chance that the stateroom attendants missed the signs available for them for some passengers, leading to a discrepancy in how they treat certain rooms. There’s always a risk when staying at any hotel, although customers recently seem to struggle to find bite-free spaces.

All Hip Hop reached out to @savagemanda89 and Carnival Cruise’s press line for more information. We’ll let you know if we hear back from either party.

Boosie Badazz Hires Scandal-Plagued Lobbyists To Beg Donald Trump For Pardon

Boosie Badazz is making a bold bid for freedom by hiring two controversial lobbyists with checkered pasts to help him secure a presidential pardon from Donald Trump as he prepares to serve a possible 24-month federal sentence on a gun charge.

The Louisiana rapper, born Torrence Hatch Jr., has tapped J.M. Burkman & Associates to plead his case directly to the former president, according to records obtained by LegiStorm.

The lobbying firm is run by Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl, a pair best known for their criminal convictions related to deceptive robocalls targeting Black voters during the 2020 election.

Public disclosures show the duo is lobbying for “a presidential pardon” on behalf of the 42-year-old artist, whom they describe as a “world class musician.”

Boosie pleaded guilty in August 2025 to being a felon in possession of a firearm following a 2023 arrest in San Diego.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors dropped a second weapons charge. Federal authorities are now pushing for the maximum sentence of two years behind bars.

Boosie Badazz Publicly Pleads With Donald Trump For Presidential Pardon

The rapper has been vocal about what he sees as political bias in his case.

“Trump CHECK MY CASE OUT,” he posted on social media in January. “MY CASE WAS DISMISSED BUT BIDENS DOJ RECHARGED ME WITH THE SAME GUN CHARGE BIDEN PARDON HIS SON OF.”

Boosie’s criminal history stretches back over a decade. In 2009, he was sentenced to four years in prison for drug and gun offenses. He was later hit with a 10-year sentence for violating probation, though he was acquitted of a high-profile murder charge in 2012.

The lobbyists he hired aren’t exactly known for subtlety. Burkman and Wohl were reportedly convicted in Ohio for orchestrating robocalls that spread false information to more than 85,000 voters in Black communities, discouraging them from voting by mail.

They were sentenced to probation and ordered to perform 500 hours of voter registration work. Additionally, the Federal Communications Commission fined them $5 million.

Boosie has repeatedly turned to Trump for help, especially after the 2024 election.

“@realDonaldTrump CAN U PARDON ME ON MY FED CASE?” he tweeted in November 2024. ”THE JUDGE DISMISSED MY CASE BUT THE RULING HAS BEEN APPEALED.”

His sentencing is set for November 21.

Donald Trump Announces Israel & Hamas Have Signed First Phase Of Peace Plan

Donald Trump announced a significant diplomatic milestone Wednesday (October 8) as Israel and Hamas signed off on the initial phase of his proposed peace plan, aimed at halting the devastating conflict in Gaza and securing the release of hostages.

“I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan,” Trump posted on Truth Social, calling it “a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.”

The agreement includes the release of all remaining hostages held in Gaza and a partial withdrawal of Israeli forces to pre-agreed positions. Trump said “ALL of the Hostages” would be freed “very soon” as part of what he described as “first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the deal and praised Trump’s role in reaching it. “Tomorrow I will convene the government to approve the agreement and bring all our dear hostages home,” Netanyahu wrote on social media. “Thank you, President Trump, from the depths of my heart.”

Hamas issued a statement acknowledging the deal, crediting “responsible and serious negotiations between the movement and the Palestinian resistance factions.”

The group urged Trump and international mediators to “compel the [Israeli] government to fully implement the agreement’s requirements.”

According to Trump’s 20-point plan, the deal calls for the release of 48 hostages — 20 of whom Israel believes are still alive — in exchange for 1,950 Palestinian prisoners.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum responded with cautious optimism, saying the families received the news “with a mix of excitement, anticipation, and concern.”

The announcement came on the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023, attacks, when Hamas militants killed 1,200 people and captured 251 hostages.

Israel’s military response has since killed more than 67,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health officials, and left large parts of the territory in ruins.

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres welcomed the development, stating, “The United Nations will support the full implementation of the agreement and will scale up the delivery of sustained and principled humanitarian relief, and we will advance recovery and reconstruction efforts in Gaza. The stakes have never been higher.”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump is “considering going to the Middle East” after visiting troops at Walter Reed Medical Center on Friday.

Despite the agreement, Israeli military operations in Gaza have continued. Far-right Israeli security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has publicly opposed the deal, pushing instead for a total defeat of Hamas, revealing the political strain within Netanyahu’s coalition.

Qatar, a central mediator in the talks, has pushed for international guarantees — led by the United States — to ensure Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza and a permanent end to hostilities.

Top 7 Types of Casino Bonus You’ll Find in Dutch Online Casinos

Online casinos in the Netherlands keep finding ways to attract players. One of the biggest hooks is the casino bonus. These offers can look simple on the surface but the details make all the difference. A bonus might give you free spins, extra cash to play with or even cashback when you lose.

Not every offer is the same, though. Some are worth grabbing, others come with heavy rules. Let’s go through the seven main types you’ll see at Dutch online casinos, how they work, and what you should know before claiming one.

1. The Welcome Bonus

This is the first deal most new players meet. A welcome bonus usually matches your first deposit. For example, if you put in €50 and the casino matches 100%, you now have €100 to play with.

Some casinos push this further with big numbers, like a 500% casino bonus on small deposits. That sounds huge, but always read the terms. Big percentages often mean higher wagering requirements or limits on what games you can play.

One more thing: welcome bonuses usually come in bundles. You might get a match bonus plus free spins together. It looks generous, but the fine print tells the real story. The welcome bonus can be a good start, but only if you understand what’s attached.

2. Deposit Match Bonus

This one is simple. You deposit money, and the casino adds extra based on a percentage. It might be 50%, 100%, or higher. Sometimes casinos offer it not just for the first deposit, but also for the second or third.

This kind of casino bonus works well if you already planned to deposit. Just don’t chase the bonus by putting in more money than you can afford.

Here’s an example: you deposit €100, the casino matches 50%, and you now have €150. But if the wagering requirement is 40x, you’ll need to bet a lot before you can cash out. That’s why checking the terms matters more than the headline percentage.

3. No Deposit Bonus

Players love this one. You get a small bonus without putting in any money at all. It might be €5 or €10, or maybe a few free spins. The idea is to let you try out the casino with no risk.

The downside is that these bonuses usually come with strict rules. You might have to play through the winnings many times before cashing out. Some casinos even cap your winnings at €50 or €100.

Still, if you want to test a new casino without spending, this is a good way. Think of it as a free demo, not a path to big money.

4. Free Spins Bonus

Slots are huge in Dutch casinos, and free spins are a common reward. You might get 20 free spins as part of a welcome deal or as a weekly reward. The spins usually apply to one or two selected games.

The winnings from free spins often count as bonus money. That means you need to wager them before you can withdraw. For instance, 20 free spins on a slot might give you €10 in winnings, but if the requirement is 30x, you’ll need to wager €300 before withdrawing.

If you like slots anyway, this casino bonus is worth using. But if you prefer table games, it won’t add much value.

5. Reload Bonus

A reload bonus is for existing players. It works like a deposit match, but it’s offered after the first deposit. For example, you add €50 on a Friday, and the casino adds another 50% as a reload.

These bonuses keep players active. They can be good if you play regularly, but again, the terms matter. Look for fair wagering requirements and make sure the reload bonus fits your playing style.

Sometimes reload bonuses come with themes. Dutch online casinos may tie them to holidays, football matches, or weekends. That little twist keeps things fun, but always remember the rules behind the offer.

6. Cashback Bonus

Nobody likes losing. That’s why cashback offers are popular. A cashback bonus gives you back a percentage of your losses over a set time – usually a week. It might be 5% or 10%.

This does not turn losing into winning, but it softens the blow. If you lose €100 and the cashback is 10% – you get €10 back. Some casinos give it in real cash – others as bonus money.

Cashback can be daily, weekly, or even monthly. Daily cashback helps casual players, while weekly suits those who play bigger amounts. You must always check the rules to see how the cashback is paid.

7. High Roller Bonus

Some Dutch casinos target players who deposit big amounts. These high roller bonuses can be generous. For example – deposit €500 and get a 100% match up to €1000.

The catch is simple: you need to deposit more than most casual players. The wagering requirements are usually heavy, too.

This type of casino bonus makes sense only if you already play with large amounts. It’s not for everyone, but serious players sometimes find value here. For high rollers, even a small percentage back on a big deposit can be worth hundreds of euros.

How to Spot a Good Bonus

Not all bonuses are equal. A 500% casino bonus looks exciting, but if the wagering requirement is 50x – it might not be worth it. Sometimes a smaller bonus with fairer rules gives more value.

Here are a few things to check:

  • Wagering requirement (the lower, the better)
  • Game restrictions (can you use it on your favorite games?)
  • Expiry date (bonuses don’t last forever)
  • Maximum win cap (some limit how much you can cash out)

Another smart move is to compare casinos. Many Dutch online casinos compete for players with similar offers. Spending five minutes checking which has lower wagering rules can save you a lot of stress later.

Tips for Using Casino Bonuses Wisely

  • Set a budget first – Bonuses are fun, but don’t spend extra just to qualify.
  • Read the fine print – Terms may sound boring, but they decide how useful the bonus really is.
  • Play games you enjoy – Don’t force yourself into slots or tables you dislike just to clear a bonus.
  • Track expiry dates – Many bonuses vanish after 7 or 14 days.
  • Don’t chase losses – Even cashback can’t fully protect you from overspending.

Bonuses should feel like an extra perk, not pressure to gamble more than you wanted.

Final Thoughts

Bonuses are a big part of Dutch online casinos. From welcome offers to reloads and cashback, there’s a type for every player. The important part is knowing how each casino bonus works and when it is actually useful.

Big numbers like a 500% casino bonus can be tempting. But you must always slow down and read the terms before you claim it. The best bonus is the one that fits your playing style and budget.

Play smart. Use the bonuses wisely, and they can add some extra fun to your online casino experience.

Aziz Ansari Carries Passport Everywhere, Admits He’s Anxious Over ICE Crackdowns

Aziz Ansari says his return to Los Angeles after a long stretch abroad came with an unexpected accessory—his passport—driven by anxiety over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity in the city.

The Emmy-winning actor and comedian, who now resides in London, opened up about his apprehension during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, citing the visible uptick in immigration enforcement as the reason behind his unease.

“I haven’t been in LA in a while. I haven’t been here since all this ICE stuff started happening,” Ansari, 42, told host Jimmy Kimmel. “I’m all nervous. I got friends, they’re like, ‘We’re hiding our nanny in the basement. We might have to raise our kids. We don’t know what we’re going to do.’”

The creator of Master of None didn’t hold back when describing how the current immigration climate has personally affected him, even joking about the possibility of being mistaken for someone undocumented.

“I’m on edge, man. I’m carrying my passport all the time, just in case people haven’t seen the shows, you know?” he said. “Although I do think it would be amazing if they did grab me, ’cause there’d be an incredible viral video where all these people are like, ‘Oh my god, that’s the guy from Parks and Rec… he made Master of None. Oh my god, they’re arresting (Pakistani-American actor) Kumail Nanjiani!

Ansari’s remarks come on the heels of a Department of Homeland Security report stating that ICE had detained 5,000 individuals in Los Angeles between June and late August.

Offset Admits He Should Have Respected Cardi B More

Offset laid bare the truth behind his split from Cardi B during a revealing conversation on Baby, This is Keke Palmer, admitting that his own actions—including cheating—led to the unraveling of their high-profile marriage.

“I should’ve respected her way more, you know what I mean? I made bad decisions as a man, like stepping out,” the Migos rapper said during Tuesday’s episode. The 33-year-old, born Kiari Cephus, didn’t dodge accountability, acknowledging his role in the breakdown of the relationship.

“I was definitely not perfect in the situation,” he said. “I made a lot of mistakes. (There’s) a lot of things that I did wrong. She did things that was wrong.”

The couple, who share three children—Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 13 months—had been married for seven years before Cardi filed for divorce in July 2024. Offset admitted his infidelity was the final straw.

“That’s why when she left, I had to take that on the chin,” he said. “I was being selfish, you know what I mean? And I can say that as a man. I’m a grown man.”

Despite the split, Offset emphasized the importance of keeping things civil for the sake of their children, saying they have “kids to live for.”

Cardi, who is now expecting her first child with NFL star Stefon Diggs, opened up about her side of the breakup in a separate interview released Monday.

Speaking with Jay Shetty on his “On Purpose” podcast, the 32-year-old artist said she had emotionally checked out of the relationship long before the legal paperwork was filed. “I felt the love dying,” she said. “From my end, from his end… I was very lonely because I chose to be lonely.”

How AI Tools Wrecked T.D. Jakes’ Opponent’s Legal Strategy In $6M Battle

Dallas Judge Sanctions Attorney for Fake AI Citations

T.D. Jakes secured a legal win in Dallas after a federal judge sanctioned attorney Tyrone Blackburn for submitting court documents filled with fake legal citations generated by artificial intelligence.

The ruling came in a defamation case Jakes filed against Duane Youngblood, who had accused the bishop of sexual misconduct dating back to the 1980s. Jakes denied the claims and said Youngblood tried to extort him for $6 million before going public. The court found Blackburn’s conduct during litigation to be unacceptable.

AI-Generated Briefs Triggered Court Penalty

Blackburn, who represented Youngblood, filed legal briefs that included made-up case law and misquoted rulings. The court said the filings were not only inaccurate but also misleading.

“Blackburn doubled-down. His reply brief contained the same problems as his initial brief. Rather than take responsibility for his misconduct, apologize, and voluntarily withdraw his brief, Blackburn pointed the finger at Plaintiff’s counsel, wrongly accusing them of doing exactly what he did twice—using AI to craft an inaccurate brief,” the judge wrote.

Blackburn admitted to using generative AI to draft the filings and apologized, saying he didn’t fully understand the technology. The court rejected that explanation.

“The Court holds that Blackburn engaged in sanctionable conduct under Rule 11. At best, he knowingly and repeatedly submitted legal documents that he neither prepared nor reviewed to ensure their accuracy… It is inexcusable to skirt this duty by relying on AI to draft a brief. Blackburn did so and, when accused, did so again.”

Judge Imposes $5K Fine and Revokes Court Privileges

Jakes’ legal team asked the court to award over $76,000 in attorney fees, but the judge instead fined Blackburn $5,000, emphasizing deterrence over compensation.

“The main purpose of Rule 11 is to deter, not to compensate. Indeed, district courts should consider a wide range of alternative possible sanctions for violation of the rule.”

The court ordered Blackburn to pay the fine in installments and revoked his pro hac vice status, which allowed him to practice in the district temporarily. Any future requests to appear in court must include the sanction order.

“Due to his misconduct and violations of court rules, Blackburn’s pro hac vice status is REVOKED… Any future… motion to appear pro hac vice filed by Blackburn… must include a copy of this order.”

Blackburn Also Under Fire in Fat Joe Lawsuit

This isn’t Blackburn’s only legal trouble. He’s also representing Terrance Dixon in a $20 million lawsuit against Fat Joe, alleging underpayment and coercion into “thousands of sex acts.”

Fat Joe’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, criticized Blackburn’s filings in that case as well, calling them “bogus” and citing the same issues with AI-generated content.

Tacopina said Blackburn’s actions show a “flagrant disregard of his duties,” referencing both the Jakes and Fat Joe lawsuits.

The ruling against Blackburn was issued in late June, marking a rare instance of a federal court penalizing a lawyer for misusing artificial intelligence in official court filings.

Kneecap Triggered Political Tensions After Government’s Mixed Messages

Kneecap Entry Dispute Fuels Political Fallout in Canada Over Alleged Ban

Kneecap found itself at the center of a political controversy in Ottawa after Canadian officials publicly claimed the Irish Hip-Hop group was barred from entering the country—despite no formal ban ever being issued.

The Belfast-based trio, known for their politically outspoken lyrics and support for Palestinian causes, was accused in September by Vince Gasparro, parliamentary secretary to the immigration minister, of being “ineligible to enter Canada” due to their alleged endorsement of “political violence.”

But that assertion unraveled quickly. Kneecap’s team denied the claim outright, calling it “wholly untrue and deeply malicious,” and pointed out that no official documentation or notice had ever been received.

UK Court Tossed Terrorism Charge Against Mo Chara

The controversy traces back to a November 2024 performance in London, where group member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh—who performs as Mo Chara—was accused of displaying a Hezbollah flag. Both the United Kingdom and Canada classify Hezbollah as a terrorist entity.

However, a UK court dismissed the terrorism charge in September. Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring ruled the case “unlawful” and “null” because prosecutors failed to meet the filing deadline.

“This entire process was never about me,” Ó hAnnaidh said outside the courthouse. “It was always about Gaza, about what happens if you dare to speak up.”

Opposition Demands Answers From Carney Government

The conflicting narratives prompted Melissa Lantsman, deputy leader of the Conservative Party, to call out Prime Minister Mark Carney’s administration for what she described as either dishonesty or political retreat.

“Either the parliamentary secretary lied to his constituents and all Canadians knowingly, or the government is cowering now in the face of controversy,” Lantsman said. “But either way, Canadians deserve an answer from a government that has stood on both sides of this issue.”

Kneecap, formed in 2017, performs primarily in Irish Gaelic and has drawn criticism for its vocal support of Palestinians and criticism of Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

Lawmakers and Advocacy Groups Push for Transparency

NDP MP Jenny Kwan questioned the timing of Gasparro’s statement, which came before the UK court’s ruling. “Canada needs to make sure that such decisions are accountable and that they’re not subject to arbitrary and political weaponization,” she told the National Post.

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs had already flagged Kneecap’s planned Canadian tour, issuing an “action alert” in July to pressure the government for clarity on the group’s admissibility.

Immigration Minister Silent on Specifics

Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab has refused to comment on Kneecap’s case, citing privacy laws. Her department said individuals can be denied entry for reasons involving “security, human or international rights violations, or criminal activity” but declined to confirm whether any of those applied to the group.

Gasparro, a former media executive who entered Parliament earlier this year, initially stood by his statement but has since redirected all inquiries to the broader government.

Tour Dates Canceled Amid Ongoing Confusion

Kneecap’s scheduled Canadian shows, including a stop in Toronto, remain canceled. Still, the group maintains that no official ban was ever issued. Their manager emphasized the group’s clean legal record, saying, “Kneecap has NO charges OR convictions in ANY country, EVER.”

As of September 2024, the UK court’s dismissal of the terrorism charge against Ó hAnnaidh remains the only formal legal decision in the matter.

Escaped Inmate Derrick Grove Has Some Ladies Hot & Bothered After Capture

Derrick Groves got busted in southwest Atlanta after nearly five months on the run and somehow turned his arrest into a thirst trap for horny ladies on the internet.

The 28-year-old fugitive, who was serving a life sentence for second-degree murder, was hauled out of a crawl space by U.S. Marshals on Wednesday (October 8). He broke out of a New Orleans jail back in May with nine other inmates after busting through a hole behind a toilet.

While most of the escaped got picked up quickly, Groves lay low and out of sight for months. That is, until today, when the feds finally tracked him down hiding under a house.

Now here’s where it gets unbelievable. When cops led him out in cuffs, Groves blew a kiss at the camera like he was a TV star addressing his adoring fans.

And that moment has a bunch of women online drooling all over Fox 8’s Instagram comments like it was a dating profile.

“why he kinda…,” one woman wrote. Another agreed: “and is.” Another woman said, “Why did that look sexy to me,” and still another added, “He looks good. Gained some weight.”

“Yall could fall tf back, that was directed to me,” one hot and bothered lady quipped, while another horny woman exclaimed, “Handsome self…if u get out again I’m coming give you that work.”

One man tried to reason with the hot-blooded women, saying “What the f### is this comment section,” but he was quickly shut down by one of Groves’ ladies, who snarled, “something dat ain’t fa u!”

Groves wasn’t just some random jailbird. He was locked up for a 2018 Mardi Gras block party shootout that left two men dead and several others injured. He already had two manslaughter convictions before that, so this wasn’t his first rodeo.

His jailbreak back in May triggered scrutiny on the Orleans Parish Justice Center. It turns out that the guard watching their unit was out grabbing food when the jailbirds made their move.

The feds believe Groves received outside assistance while evading authorities. His ex-girlfriend, Darriana Burton, who used to work at the jail, got arrested too. She’s now sitting in jail herself on a $2.5 million bond for allegedly helping him escape.

And while Burton’s locked up, the parade of women lusting over Groves doesn’t seem to care. They’re too busy fantasizing and leaving thirsty.

Lil Durk Calls Out Prosecutors For Withholding Information In Murder Case

Lil Durk Demands Dismissal Of Murder-For-Hire Case Over Lack Of Evidence

Rapper Challenges Prosecutors Over Missing Details

Lil Durk is asking a federal judge in Los Angeles to throw out his murder-for-hire case, arguing that prosecutors have failed to provide the information needed to prepare a proper defense.

The Chicago rapper, born Durk Banks, is accused of masterminding a plot to kill a man identified as T.B. in retaliation for the 2020 death of his close associate King Von. Prosecutors allege Durk used encrypted messages and promises of cash or record deals via his Only The Family (OTF) imprint to motivate others to carry out the hit.

Durk’s legal team says the government’s case lacks basic facts and fails to explain how he was involved in the alleged crime.

Defense Says Indictment Is Too Vague To Fight

Attorneys Drew Findling, Marissa Goldberg, Jonathan Brayman and Christy O’Connor filed a motion to dismiss the charges or compel the government to provide a more detailed explanation of its accusations.

“While the Indictment alleges that the co-conspirators carried out various acts ‘at the direction of’ Mr. Banks—flying to Los Angeles; tracking, stalking, and attempting to kill T.B. by gunfire; and procuring the firearms and equipment used to do so—it fails to give any specifics. When, where, how, and to whom did Mr. Banks give these alleged directions? To ensure the basic fairness of this trial, the defense is entitled to know,” Findling said.

The indictment claims Durk offered “lucrative music opportunities” and placed a bounty on T.B., but the defense says prosecutors haven’t identified who received those offers, when they were made or what the supposed coded language was.

Shooting Left Quando Rondo’s Cousin Dead

Federal investigators say Durk directed members of his crew to travel from Chicago to Los Angeles in August 2022 to locate and kill T.B. That shooting left Saviay’a Robinson, a cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, dead.

Prosecutors allege Durk arranged for transportation, weapons and disguises to carry out the ambush. However, his lawyers argue there’s no evidence he physically participated in the attack or directly communicated with the alleged shooters.

“What the Indictment fails to tell us are the very things the defense is entitled to know: the ‘operative facts’ underlying the government’s theories of Mr. Banks’ guilt. There is no allegation here that Mr. Banks physically participated in the stalking and shooting at issue,” Findling added.

Next Court Date Set For November 2025

Durk was arrested on October 17, 2024, near Miami International Airport and remains in federal custody. A hearing on the defense’s motion is scheduled for November 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. before U.S. District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald in Los Angeles.

EXCLUSIVE: Judge Says He Cannot Recommend Fort Dix As Diddy’s Choice Of Prison

Diddy will not be guaranteed a spot at FCI Fort Dix despite his legal team’s push for the New Jersey facility, with a federal judge ruling Wednesday (October 8) that only a general location recommendation—not a specific prison—can be made to the Bureau of Prisons.

Diddy, 55, was sentenced to four years and two months in federal prison after being convicted in July on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution under the Mann Act.

He was acquitted of more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Judge Arun Subramanian said the court would advise that Diddy be placed near the New York metropolitan area and be considered for substance abuse treatment programs, including the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), but stopped short of endorsing Fort Dix by name.

“The Court will recommend a facility in the geographic location of the defense’s choosing, but not the specific facility, which is determined by the Bureau of Prisons,” Judge Subramanian wrote in his October 8 ruling.

The decision follows a formal request from Diddy’s attorney, Teny Geragos, who asked the court to recommend Fort Dix for its rehabilitation services and proximity to the convicted mogul’s family.

The defense argued that the low-security prison would support his recovery and allow more frequent visits from loved ones.

Since his arrest, Diddy has spent the last 12 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. That time will be credited toward his sentence, shortening the time he has left to serve.

Fort Dix, located in Burlington County, New Jersey, houses around 4,000 inmates and is known for its lower security level and access to education, job training and drug treatment.

The prison’s proximity to New York would allow easier visitation for Diddy’s children and family members, many of whom live in the area.

Diddy, a towering figure in Hip-Hop and business, rose to fame as the founder of Bad Boy Records and expanded his empire into fashion, spirits and media. His conviction marks a steep fall from grace for one of the genre’s most recognizable moguls.

Alongside his criminal case, Diddy is also facing hundreds of civil lawsuits alleging various forms of misconduct spanning decades.

Escaped Inmate Derrick Groves Blows Kiss After Being Captured Following 5-Month Manhunt

Escaped New Orleans inmate Derrick Groves was tracked down in a cramped basement crawl space in southwest Atlanta Wednesday (October 8), ending a nearly five-month search for the last of 10 inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail in May, according to New Orleans Fox 8 Live.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair said the 28-year-old fugitive was discovered hiding in a crawl space beneath a home after officers deployed gas inside the property several times. Groves was seen blowing a kiss towards the camera as he filmed being led into custody, signaling defiance even in defeat.

Groves had been serving a life sentence for second-degree murder following his 2024 conviction for a deadly shooting at a 2018 Mardi Gras block party that killed Jamar Robinson and Byron Jackson and injured several others.

Groves also had two separate manslaughter convictions on his record. The Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office labeled him a “cold-blooded killer” with a violent criminal history dating back to 2014.

The jailbreak occurred on May 16 when Groves and nine other inmates slipped through a hole carved behind a toilet inside the Orleans Parish Justice Center.

They then scaled a wall while the guard assigned to their pod was reportedly away getting food. Most of the escapees were rounded up within weeks, but Groves managed to evade capture for months.

The U.S. Marshal’s Office in New Orleans, the Southeast Regional Fugitive Taskforce and tips from Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans played key roles in locating Groves.

During the manhunt, another escapee, Antoine Massey drew attention with a video plea posted to Instagram.

In the nearly 10-minute clip, Massey called on celebrities for help, saying, “I’m asking please for help — YoungBoy, Meek Mills. People that been through the system that know it’s corrupt. Lil Wayne, Donald Trump. When I get back in custody, I’m asking y’all, please come help.”

He also claimed, “I didn’t break out, I was let out,” suggesting internal corruption. The video was later deleted, but it helped authorities track him down in June.

Groves’ mother told reporters she learned of her son’s capture online and had not been in contact with him during his time on the run.

“I’m all messed up, I’m just trying to talk to him. I’m just seeing it on the internet, I woke up to it on the internet,” she said. “It’s just been a mess, and I’m just glad it’s over with. Of course he was going to get caught.”

She said she had urged him to turn himself in and was worried about his well-being. She also said she didn’t know why he went to Atlanta.

Federal agents believe Groves had help staying hidden. His ex-girlfriend, Darriana Burton, a former jail employee, was arrested and charged with aiding the escape.

She remains in custody on a $2.5 million bond. The jailbreak has intensified scrutiny on the Orleans Parish Justice Center’s security protocols.

“Groves’ escape represented a serious breach of public safety and a historic failure of custodial security,” New Orleans District Attorney Jason Williams said in a statement. “His capture brings long-awaited calm to victims, their families, the witnesses who testified, the assistant district attorneys who prosecuted him and the people of New Orleans who were rightly concerned that a convicted violent offender had escaped so easily and evaded justice for so long.”

Bia Fires Back At Cardi B’s Diss Track: “Girl, Go Enjoy Your Pregnancy”

Bia didn’t hold back when asked about her ongoing feud with Cardi B during a recent sit-down with Hot 97, brushing off the Bronx rapper’s latest diss with a sharp retort and redirecting attention to her upcoming debut album.

Bia, who’s gearing up to release her first full-length project, BIANCA, on Friday (October 10), addressed Cardi’s pointed lyrics on “Pretty & Petty,” a track from Cardi’s 2024 album “Am I the Drama?” that reignited tension between the two artists.

“Girl, go enjoy your pregnancy,” Bia said during the interview. “I don’t want to get on your ass again, or say something that’s going to hurt your feelings, make me look like the bad guy, because I’m talking about somebody with a baby. Like, no, that’s not the energy I’m on, you know? I don’t want that to come back to me. My mother didn’t raise me to be dragging a pregnant lady.”

The friction between the two rappers has been simmering for over a year, sparked by accusations that Cardi lifted creative ideas from Bia. What began as mutual respect in 2021 turned sour in 2023 after Bia liked a tweet suggesting Cardi had borrowed her style.

“It started on the phone, and she called me screaming like 15 times back-to-back. So that respect is out the window,” Bia said. “The yelling was because I liked a tweet for the similarities between the creative. You bully them out of how they feel or the creative that you stealing. You can’t bully everybody you know I’m saying there’s a real truth to what’s going on.”

Cardi later addressed the situation through music, including a verse on the “Wanna Be” remix where she name-dropped Bia and accused her of chasing clout. Bia responded with her own track “Sue Me” and Cardi dropped “Pretty & Petty,” from her new album Am I The Drama? in which Cardi took aim at Bia’s looks and career.

However, Bia made it clear she’s not interested in dragging the beef out any longer.

“I’m glad she got that. I’m glad she felt like she could get that off,” Bia said. “But, but overall, like for real, I knew it was coming. Cause like, this is rap, I’m competitive. So like, I diss you, you diss me, but you diss me, I diss you. It’s like, it was like a thing that, that we know, we know what the reasons were and why it was all happening. So I just, I like, it’s part of the game. I’m not gonna keep going back and forth with you and the writer, this is a year later.”

Cardi has claimed her response was driven by Bia’s mention of her children in lyrics. But Bia insists that wasn’t her intent.

“I didn’t speak about her kids. I didn’t speak negatively about her kids,” she said. “I spoke negatively about her, but I used their names because that’s rap. It’s wordplay. It’s a metaphor. Even if those weren’t her kids’ names, the bars would have still worked. So like, okay, noted. That’s the only part that I see. But we see when people talking about people’s kids online all week. That wasn’t that.”

Instead of continuing the back-and-forth, Bia is focused on the release of “BIANCA,” which she describes as her most personal and expansive project to date.

The 16-track album includes collaborations with Key Glock on “DADE,” a single featured on the Madden NFL 26 soundtrack, and “Birthday Behavior” with Young Miko. Another track, “WE ON GO,” served as the anthem for the WNBA playoffs and was also featured in NBA 2K26.

“BIANCA” marks Bia’s first official LP following a string of EPs including “Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado” (2018), “For Certain” (2020), and “Really Her” (2023). She told Nessa the album represents growth, honesty and a fearless approach to her artistry.

While the feud with Cardi has drawn headlines, Bia appears ready to move on.

“You have to know that this happens to artists every single day,” she said. “It’s not even about her. It’s about that you have smaller artists or artists who don’t have as big of a platform and their creative gets reworked by bigger artists… It’s not just me. I can pull out five songs that she did it to. So it’s like, let’s just be real about that. The issue for me is a creative issue.”

Nicki Minaj’s Mom Denies Cardi B’s Claim “Papa Bear” Is Non-Verbal: “He’s Just Shy”

Nicki Minaj’s mother publicly defended her grandson after Cardi B accused the 5-year-old of being non-verbal during a bitter online clash between the two rap stars.

The accusation surfaced during a tense back-and-forth earlier this month, when Cardi alleged that Minaj’s son, known publicly as Papa Bear, was developmentally delayed due to drug use during pregnancy. The claim quickly drew backlash and prompted a rare public comment from Minaj’s mother, Carol Maraj.

A video posted to TikTok shortly after the controversy showed Papa Bear alongside his mother during a visit to a Chicago aquarium. The clip, which circulated widely, appeared to show the child speaking and engaging normally.

“Papa is smart,” she said in TikTok comment. “He is a bit shy but is very normal for his age. Lies all lies. Thank you guys for standing with us. God bless.”

The child, born on September 30, 2020, is the son of Nicki and her husband Kenneth Petty. His real name has not been made public. He turned five this fall.

The feud between the two Grammy-winning rappers has escalated beyond music, with both women now involving each other’s children in their verbal attacks. Cardi B made the non-verbal claim during a recent Twitter spat, while Nicki Minaj allegedly threatened Cardi’s daughter, Kulture.

Child development professionals often emphasize that speech milestones can vary widely at this age. Some children are naturally quiet or may take longer to speak in unfamiliar settings.

The online feud has grown increasingly personal. Cardi B referred to Minaj as a “possessed drug addict” and said she planned to confront her in person. Minaj has not publicly addressed the claims about her son, but her mother’s message appears to serve as the family’s response.

The two artists have a long history of tension, dating back years, but the recent exchanges have taken a more personal turn. The involvement of their children has drawn criticism from some observers and sparked broader conversations about boundaries in celebrity conflicts.

As of now, neither Cardi B nor Nicki Minaj has issued further comments about the children involved. The TikTok video featuring Papa Bear continues to gain views, with many commenters defending the child and criticizing the direction of the feud.

Aziz Ansari Shared Immigration Anxiety On National TV

Passport in Pocket, Jokes on Standby

Aziz Ansari didn’t return to Los Angeles empty-handed. The Master of None star brought his passport everywhere he went, not for travel, but out of fear he might be mistaken for an undocumented immigrant during a spike in ICE enforcement across the city.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live that aired October 8, 2025, the Emmy-winning comedian explained how immigration crackdowns made him uneasy enough to carry official ID at all times.

“I haven’t been in LA in a while. I haven’t been here since all this ICE stuff started happening,” Ansari, 42, told Kimmel. “I’m all nervous. I got friends, they’re like, ‘We’re hiding our nanny in the basement. We might have to raise our kids. We don’t know what we’re going to do.’”

Living Abroad, Feeling the Pressure at Home

Ansari, who currently lives in London, said the immigration climate in Los Angeles felt tense enough to change his behavior. He joked that even his celebrity status might not protect him from being wrongly detained.

Oh my god, they’re arresting (Pakistani-American actor) Kumail Nanjiani!’”

ICE Activity in Los Angeles Raises Alarms

Ansari’s remarks come amid real concerns about immigration enforcement. According to a Department of Homeland Security report, ICE detained 5,000 people in Los Angeles between June and late August. The data has fueled ongoing national debates about civil liberties and immigration policy.

The episode aired as public scrutiny continues to grow around the scope and impact of ICE operations in major U.S. cities.

Druski Baby Oil Lawsuit Involving Diddy Slipping Away, As Lawyers Seek To Drop Accuser

The attorneys representing a woman accusing Druski, Diddy and Odell Beckham Jr. of assaulting her are asking a judge to drop her as a client.

The lawsuit, which linked the comedian and the NFL player to a disturbing 2018 sexual assault allegation at a California party allegedly hosted by Diddy, is now unraveling.

The accuser’s lawyers are requesting that the court allow them to withdraw, citing a breakdown in communication and disagreements with their client, Ashley Parham, over strategy.

Parham filed her lawsuit earlier this year, accusing Druski of pouring baby oil on her and using her “like a slip and slide.”

She further alleged Diddy recorded the assault and threatened her, with Beckham also involved. However, Druski has maintained his innocence and provided documentation to prove he was in Georgia at the time.

“I have never met any of the individuals involved. I was not in California at the time,” Druski said when the claims first surfaced.

His legal team submitted phone records and bank statements showing all activity on the day in question originated in Atlanta, not Orinda, California, where the alleged incident took place.

Despite this evidence, Parham’s attorneys told the court in July they had “no desire to dismiss” Druski from the case. That decision prompted U.S. District Judge Rita F. Lin to demand an explanation, warning the legal team could face sanctions if they did not drop him from the lawsuit.

She said their position “appears to lack any reasonable basis” and threatened to sanction the lawyers involved in the controversy.

Now, Parham’s lawyers are attempting to withdraw from the case entirely.

In court filings obtained by AllHipHop, they cited “irreconcilable differences” and a “fundamental breakdown” in communication with their client. The documents state that the attorneys can no longer ethically or effectively represent her.

The case, which once made headlines for its explosive claims, is now teetering on the brink of collapse. The plaintiff’s legal representation is on the verge of walking away, and the core evidence contradicts her version of events.

Meanwhile, Beckham and Diddy have also denied any involvement.

Diddy is also pursuing a separate $100 million defamation lawsuit against Parham’s lead attorney, Ariel Mitchell and conservative media outlet Newsmax, claiming they worked together to smear his name with false accusations.
