Nicki Minaj Fans Concerned Over Rapper’s Puzzling PSA Video Amid Divorce Rumors

Nicki Minaj fans rallied around the rapper after she posted a video reassuring mothers they’re doing a great job.

Late on Monday night (June 10), the NYC icon shared a video on her Instagram Stories. She appeared tired and spoke very slowly, maintaining a measured tone throughout the brief recording. Minaj spoke about the pains and joys that come with motherhood before sending a PSA to fellow moms.

“And then one day, they’re yelling push, and you’re in pain,” she began. And then one day, he comes out a beautiful baby boy. To God be the glory. Congratulations to every momma out there. You’re doing a great job. In case no one’s told you that, you’re doing a great job.”

Although she’s in the middle of a grueling tour schedule, her fatigued appearance and puzzling PSA concerned her devoted fanbase, The Barbz. The video also arrived hours after Nicki Minaj shared a cryptic post sparking rumors she split from her husband, Kenneth Petty.

Fans took to social media in droves, causing “WeLoveYouNicki” to trend.

“Whatever you’re going through, the Barbz are here for you,” wrote one fan. “We’ve seen you through the good and bad times and we’ll keep holding you down, you’ll win again and again.”

Another fan posted photos of Nicki Minaj and her son alongside prayers for her strength. “This woman is the strongest human I know,” they wrote. “She’s been the highest selling female rapper for 2 decades. She’s on a world tour with a sold out show every night, but most of all she’s a mother. God please give Nicki the strength to get through these hard times.”

Tory Lanez Ditched By Wife Who Files For Divorce After Less Than 1 Year Of Marriage

Tory Lanez is being divorced by his wife of less than a year, who is also seeking custody of their son.

The incarcerated rapper’s brief marriage is coming to an end, according to TMZ. Chassagne filed to divorce Tory Lanez last week. The couple have been married for less than 12 months, per court documents obtained by the outlet.

Lanez and Chassagne tied the knot on June 25, 2023, three months before the singer and rapper began his 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Chassagne cited irreconcilable differences as her reason for the split. She also asked the court for legal and physical custody of their seven-year-old son Kai. The little boy accompanied his father on several court appearances last year.

Lanez has been spending time with his son behind bars and reportedly spent two weekends in a row with him earlier this year. On each occasion, they spent four to five hours playing games on both Saturday and Sunday.

Last August, Tory Lanez requested bail while appealing his conviction, hoping a judge would allow him to live with Chassagne and their son while his legal team appealed. However, in September, Judge David Herriford denied Lanez’s motion for bail.

Lanez filed a new appeal in February, and the prosecution has until June 27 to reply. If his appeal fails, Lanez will remain behind bars until at least September 2029, when he becomes eligible for parole.

Young Thug & His Lawyer To Serve Jail Time Together Following Contempt Order

Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, has been ordered to serve jail time after a Georgia judge held the lawyer in contempt following a drama-filled day in court.

On Monday (June 10), Steel was arrested and taken into custody after refusing to disclose who informed him of a private meeting between the judge, the prosecution and key witness Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland.

After returning to court, Judge Ural Glanville told Steel he would jail him if he did not name his source.

“You will go into custody at five o’clock today or whenever we finish if you don’t tell me,” Glanville told Steele. Later in the hearing, following arguments from Steele’s attorneys, Glanville ordered Steele to 20 days in jail. He will serve his sentence on the weekends commencing Friday, June 14.

Steele is appealing the decision. However, Glanville agreed to the lawyer’s request to serve the time with Young Thug (real name Jeffery Williams) in Fulton County jail if his appeal fails.

“I’d ask that I could be with Mr. Williams, and we work on our case all weekend, for all those weekends. Otherwise, I can’t prepare, I speak with Mr Williams all the time,” Steele argued.

“You have my support,” Glanville replied. “I will talk to our sheriff, and we may be able to make that work.”

The attorney’s wife, Colette Resnik Steel, is appealing the contempt order. However, Glanville said her husband has no grounds to appeal or a bond hearing. Nonetheless, the judge also stated he would lift the order if Steele would reveal his source.

California Highway Patrol Engage In “Freeway Freakoff” With High Speed Chase Suspect

It’s clear a Los Angeles woman shunned the idea of buckling up following a wild goose chase with California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Long story short, a fleeing suspect recently decided that turning a routine police chase into a toll-free roadside strip show was the best course of action. In a scene that could have been lifted straight from a Hollywood blockbuster, a high-speed pursuit on the 405 freeway took an eye-popping twist when the suspect decided to give her fellow motorists a show they’ll never forget.

It all went down one afternoon near Culver City as CHP was hot on the trail of a black SUV zipping through the HOV lane. As two patrol cars zeroed in, ready to bring the runaway vehicle to a halt, the driver pulled over unexpectedly. After the SUV screeched to a stop, out popped a woman from the sunroof like a Jack-in-the-Box on steroids!

What came next was a scene straight out of a tabloid fever dream. The woman, initially fully clothed, didn’t stay that way for long. She swiftly ditched her attire, stripping down to nothing but her bare skin, right in the middle of one of L.A.’s busiest freeways. Yes, she took it all off! First, the shirt came off, revealing her naked torso to the stunned onlookers. Then, she shimmied out of her shorts, letting them fall to her ankles as she stood completely nude, hands raised high like she was performing for the crowd.

Talk about a freeway freak show! Drivers passing by couldn’t believe their eyes, and of course, many grabbed their phones to capture the jaw-dropping display. It was like a bizarre twist on “Girls Gone Wild” but with traffic and sirens.

The whole thing started when the CHP spotted the black SUV recklessly zooming down the center median of the 405. When the driver refused to stop, officers gave chase, rocketing down the freeway at speeds up to 95 MPH. After about ten minutes of this high-octane drama, the SUV finally came to a halt, setting the stage for the impromptu nude spectacle.

After her racy rooftop act, the woman was swiftly taken into custody. The brazen performer was slapped with multiple charges, including felony reckless evading, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer. She’s facing serious time behind bars, and let’s just say her next audience, in a court of law will be a lot less enthusiastic.

But here’s the kicker – this isn’t the first time the CHP has been caught up in a naked showdown with suspects on the run. Just last month, another high-speed chase ended with a man jumping out of his car stark naked, claiming aliens were chasing him. And who can forget the woman last year who led officers on a two-county pursuit before stripping down to her undies and dancing on the roof of her car, declaring she was “liberating” herself from the law.

It seems like for some folks, the ultimate escape from the long arm of the law involves shedding not just the cops, but their clothes too. Stay tuned, because in L.A., you never know when the next freeway will turn into a catwalk!

Chrisean Rock Left Confused After She’s Arrested At Blueface’s Court Hearing

Authorities took Chrisean Rock into custody when she showed up at a Los Angeles County court to support Blueface on Monday (June 10). According to TMZ, the reality TV star was arrested on a felony fugitive warrant and faced an additional charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

Rock brought her baby to court, but officers reportedly took the child away from her. Chrisean Rock acted confused when a paparazzo questioned her about the arrest outside the courthouse.

“I don’t f###### know,” she said. “They saying I got a whole ‘nother case caught up in f###### downtown. I don’t even be downtown. It’s cool. I got my people looking into it.”

Chrisean Rock had a warrant out for her for arrest in Oklahoma. Earlier this year, the polarizing personality claimed she would not surrender to authorities because she needed to take care of her son. She claimed her legal troubles would be resolved without her going to jail.

“My warrants are getting cleaned up,” she said. “I’ve been paying off fees and getting rid of s###, talking to certain people to help my situation out ‘cause you know I have my son. So, the old me would have just turned myself in and dealt with it through from inside to the outside of the jail.

“So, whatever … But right now I gotta play it cautious because I don’t plan on being in jail while my son is growing. I just don’t plan on that at all. So, I’m doing every way possible to get that figured out without even trying to serve time. And it’s working out for me. So, I’ma work on my little situations and stuff.”

Chrisean Rock was accused of violating her probation in an Oklahoma drug case. She was sentenced to four years of probation for drug charges in 2023.

“Power” Star Michael Rainey Jr. Speaks Out After Groping Incident

Michael Rainey Jr. struggled to deal with what happened to him when a woman groped him during a livestream. The Power actor released a statement reacting to the incident on Monday (June 10).

“At this point, everyone has seen the video circulating online,” Rainey wrote on Instagram Stories. “I am still in shock and don’t fully know how to process what happened last night. This is an unfortunate situation that I do not condone in any way. I can’t take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed.”

He continued, “The fact is sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status. We’re all human, and we should respect each other. Most importantly, we should always respect ourselves.”

Rainey appeared on a livestream with streamer TyTy James on Sunday (June 9). A viral clip from the livestream showed James’ sister groping Rainey in front of children.

James initially defended his sister, saying she’d never seen someone of that “caliber.” He later rebuked her behavior and apologized to Rainey via social media.

“After the actions that occurred during my stream last night, I would like to sincerely apologize to Michael and his family for what took place,” James wrote. “My little sister was completely wrong and out of line. What she did was very inappropriate and unacceptable. I am truly embarrassed and disgusted by her actions.”

He added, “I completely respect whatever direction Michael wants to go in this situation. After watching the clip, I was completely taken back by what she done. I will take extreme precautions with future streams to avoid similar issues and have banned her from participating in future streams. I do not condone any type of sexual assault.”

Young Thug’s Lawyer Arrested Over Showdown With Judge In YSL Trial

A Georgia judge held Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel in contempt in the YSL RICO trial on Monday (June 10). Steel raised concerns about a private conversation between the judge, the prosecution and witness Kenneth “Lil Woody” Copeland. Steel was taken into custody for refusing to disclose the source of his information.

“You got some information you shouldn’t have gotten,” Judge Ural Glanville told Steel.

Copeland spent the weekend in jail after he refused to testify in Young Thug’s trial on Friday (June 7). Prosecutors put him back on the stand on Monday. He remained a reluctant witness.

The trial took a dramatic turn following a lunch break without the jury present. Steel said he learned prosecutors met with Copeland in the judge’s chambers without the defense’s knowledge. According to Steel, Copeland allegedly admitted he killed Donovan “Nut” Thomas – a key incident in the YSL RICO case – during the meeting.

“How about the witness, how about Mr. Copeland, who supposedly announced he’s not testifying and he’ll sit for two years and, supposedly this honorable court – or let me rephrase that – this court, said I can hold you until the end of this trial … If true, what this is – is coercion [and] witness intimation,” Steel told the judge.

Judge Glanville was furious. He demanded to know how Steel found out what happened in the meeting. Steel rebuffed the judge’s repeated requests and asked for a mistrial.

Steel was held in concept and escorted from the courtroom. Young Thug’s other lawyer Keith Adams objected to the trial moving forward without Steel. Judge Glanville plowed ahead with the proceedings.

“You don’t get to extort the court,” Judge Glanville declared. “It doesn’t work that way.”

The courtroom clash occurred months into a RICO trial with no end in sight. Young Thug’s trial is already the longest in Georgia’s history. It began in November 2023.

Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow + 35 Other Rappers Scouted To Appear At NYC Trump Rally

Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow were reportedly among a laundry list of drill rappers who wanted to jump on the “Trump Train” during the former president’s recent rally in New York City.

The pair of Brooklyn rappers recently joined Donald Trump at his rally in the Bronx. After speaking at the rally, both Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow faced criticism from several figures within the space of the entertainment industry and Hip-Hop. Among those critics was Hot 97 radio host Peter Rosenberg, who called for the rappers to be pulled from the Summer Jam music festival line-up.

Additionally, comedian D.L Hughly criticized the rappers for aligning with felons such as Trump and Billy McFarland, who he described as “The guy behind Fyre Festival.”

Now, McFarland, who was released from prison in 2022, has revealed that Sheff G and Sleppy Hallow may not have been the only rap artists willing to brave the brunt of public outcry following an appearance with Trump. In a recent interview, McFarland, who had a hand in planning the rally, spoke about the process and what went into the decision to invite Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow in the first place.

“The Trump rally was the first time a president has done a rally in the Bronx since Ronald Reagan, so I thought it was kind of like this historical, whatever your politics are,” McFarland said in part.

In total, he claims there were more than triple the amount of requests from rappers to take the stage with Trump at the rally than the mere two who made it to the stage.

“It was probably this historical New York moment, and I think a great way to capitalize and kind of make history was to bring New York rap to the Bronx. There were probably 35 artists who asked me to come to that rally,” he said.

McFarland went on to add that while he wasn’t “going to drop people’s names,” rap fans might be surprised by the requests he received.

“You don’t want to drop people people’s names,” he said before adding. “I think every single drill artist in New York wanted to be there.”

Trump has also seen an outpouring of support from numerous rapers and celebrities following the announcement of his guilty verdict in connection to the hush money trial in New York, which also involved former adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Despite being convicted on all 34 counts he was charged of, which include business fraud among other charges, Trump still has the support of socialites such as Amber Rose, who recently spoke to TMZ about Trump and the race for the White House. In particular, Rose was questioned if Trump receiving 34 guilty verdicts in his falsifying business records case changed her mind about voting for him.

“Nope, not at all, still voting for Donald Trump,” Amber Rose responded. “I think it helps him more. Absolutely. I think people see the injustice and they want to vote for him more than ever.”

Between 2023 and 2024, several rap artists publicly endorsed Donald Trump despite his ongoing hush money trial in New York. Kanye West, known for his controversial support of Trump in the past, reiterated his backing, citing Trump’s policies as beneficial for economic growth and prison reform.

Additionally, Ice Cube voiced support, arguing that Trump’s administration was more receptive to his Contract with Black America than other political leaders. Lil Pump, who had previously endorsed Trump in the 2020 election, continued his support, emphasizing Trump’s impact on tax policies are favorable to his financial interests.

“Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” Star Tommie Lee Arrested For Battery

Police arrested Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’s Tommie Lee outside a nightclub in Miami Beach on Monday (June 10). According to local reports, the reality TV star/rapper was charged with battery and taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Tommie Lee, whose real name is Atasha Jefferson, allegedly tried to hand something to the victim outside the LIV nightclub. The victim told police he did not accept whatever she wanted to give him, which led to her becoming aggressive.

The 39-year-old woman started threatening the victim. She told him she “would have him killed and shot up.” The victim attempted to ignore Tommie Lee, but she poked him in the face. He grabbed her by the arms and held them behind her back until the police arrived at the scene.

Authorities viewed surveillance footage of the incident. The video corroborated the victim’s version of events, resulting in her arrest.

Tommie Lee’s latest arrest added to her extensive list of run-ins with the law. Her past troubles included an arrest for making terroristic threats after violating a restraining order obtained by fellow Love & Hip-Hip-Hop: Atlanta cast member Joseline Hernandez. Tommie Lee also landed in jail for showing up drunk to court in a child abuse case in 2019.

Kanye West Claims Firing Security Guard Over Dreadlocks Was “Justified”

Kanye West responded to a discrimination and wrongful termination lawsuit filed against him by his former security guard. According to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly, Ye defended his firing of Benjamin Deshon Provo and asked a California court to dismiss the case.

“Defendants are informed and believe, and based on such information and belief allege that Defendants were justified in doing any and/or all of the acts alleged in the Complaint,” Ye’s lawyers argued.

Provo started working as a security guard for Ye’s Donda Academy, Sunday Service events and a Yeezy warehouse in 2021. Provo said he was fired for refusing to cut his dreadlocks when Ye “unjustifiably and unreasonably” demanded employees shave their heads in 2023. The plaintiff cited religious reasons for keeping his dreadlocks, but Ye and Provo’s manager John Hicks insisted on a haircut.

“Plaintiff refused,” Provo’s attorney explained. “Thereafter, Hicks approached Plaintiff and stated, ‘Kanye said, ‘Tell the one with the dreads to shave his head or he is fired.’ Plaintiff refused to shave his head, and as a result thereof, his employment was terminated.”

Provo accused Ye of mistreating Black employees and expressing “negative beliefs associated with prominent Black leaders.” Similar allegations surfaced in other lawsuits against the controversial artist.

“Kanye and members of his management team subjected Provo and other Black employees to less favorable treatment than their white counterparts,” Provo’s lawyer claimed. “Specifically, Kanye frequently screamed at and berated Black employees, while in contrast, he never so much as raised his tone of voice toward white staff.”

Provo is one of the multiple ex-employees with pending civil cases against Ye. Most recently, Ye’s former assistant Lauren Pisciotta sued the G.O.O.D. Music founder for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Ye threatened to countersue Pisciotta, accusing the woman of blackmail and extortion.

“Pac & Biggie Are Dead” Play Debuts In Oakland

Tupac “2Pac” Shakur and Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace continue to take center stage more than 25 years after their murders. The Hip-Hop icons have inspired artists in different genres and mediums.

For instance, playwright Biko Eisen-Martin turned the tragic stories of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. into a Shakespearean-like drama. Pac & Biggie Are Dead opened at Oakland, California’s BAM House on Friday, June 7.

“Black history nerds know these scenes and their coming to be,” Biko Eisen-Martin told a local news outlet. “Also, there’s a history of beefs in the culture.”

Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. infamously feuded until they died in 1996 and 1997, respectively. Additionally, Biko Eisen-Martin seemingly compared Pac & Biggie Are Dead to one of William Shakespeare’s most famous works.

“Theater nerds know Hamlet… The mother of Hamlet often makes it into Western theater classics,” Eisen-Martin said. The roles of 2Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, and Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, appear in Pac & Biggie Are Dead as well.

Previously, the life stories of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. have been told through countless books, visual art pieces, motion pictures and documentaries. 2Pac’s music also inspired the Broadway musical Holler If Ya Hear Me.

Yung Joc Pushes Back On Stephen A. Smith’s Viral Will Smith Comments

Will Smith scored another box office hit with Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Despite the success of the action comedy film, sportscaster Stephen A. Smith still has an issue with the global superstar over the infamous Oscars slap in 2022—but Yung Joc is pushing back.

“You got to have a conversation as to why you did that,” Stephen A. Smith stated on his self-titled show about Will Smith smacking comedian Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards. “It’s primarily us as Black people who have loved and supported you and watched you go on an international stage and slap one of us in the face.”

Many social media users reacted negatively to Stephen A. Smith’s latest take on Will Smith. Yung Joc soon chimed in on the comments by the ESPN talking head.

“Nah… That was in him at that moment and he knows why he did it… We don’t need to know why,” Yung Joc posted in Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram comment section. “[Will Smith] doesn’t owe us anything… If nothing else Black Men saw a Black Man slap another Black Man about his Black Woman.”

Will Smith’s onstage slap at the Academy Award ceremony came after Chris Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett’s shaved head. Pinkett has been diagnosed with alopecia areata which leads to hair loss. Smith later publicly apologized for his actions on Instagram and YouTube.

Ryan Garcia Comments After Getting Arrested For Felony Vandalism

Ryan Garcia is back in the news. According to reports, Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested the professional boxer for felony vandalism on Saturday (June 8).

Local law enforcement officials claim Ryan Garcia trashed his room and the hallway at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. The 25-year-old Golden Boy Promotions fighter allegedly caused $15,000 in damages.

After being booked in jail, Garcia apparently complained about a medical issue. The BHPD transferred him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

Representatives for Ryan Garcia sent AllHipHop.com a statement credited to the California-raised athlete. Garcia thanked his supporters and referenced his mother’s recent breast cancer diagnosis.

“It’s always love. Thanks to my fans for always supporting me. [Y’all] know I’ve been dealing with incredible stress, pressure and now the devastating news of my mom’s health. Love and compassion wins. Always,” Garcia stated.

In addition, Ryan Garcia posted several social media messages about his ongoing legal troubles in Beverly Hills. In the tweets, he asked for prayers, mentioned Jesus Christ and seemingly compared his situation to Donald Trump’s 34 felony convictions.

“I’m worried [sad face emoticon]. I have to be at this weird hospital and they are trying to give me medicine and they have me on a hold for who knows how long, they will determine. Pray for me, God help me,” Garcia tweeted on Sunday (June 9).

Moments later, Garcia also tweeted, “Kinda funny both Trump and I are in jail [man shrugging emoji]. I don’t know if he is in jail but I know he got convicted. This sucks, but I love Jesus, I will be okay.”

Method Man hit the stage at Summer Jam in New York on June 2. By the end of his set, the Wu-Tang Clan member expressed no longer wanting to be part of the annual Hot 97 concert.

“Not our crowd at all,” Method Man wrote on Instagram. “Thanks again, New York and the whole tri-state (that showed up to the event) plus Pete [Rosenberg] and Ebro [Darden].”

The recording artist/actor continued, “I got love for you guys, but never again. At this point, the generation gap is just too wide for me. #nevercomingback.”

“I wasn’t mad at the crowd,” Method Man stated. He also said, “It was just a generation gap. I showed grace. But the feedback that it’s gotten, I don’t think it’s fair. I would never point my finger at the crowd for not liking my music.”

In addition, the 53-year-old MC added, “I was there for Mister Cee and it was New York. So I figured, I’m in New York, I’m in my backyard, people know who I am.”

However, some people in the comment section slammed Rihanna for not showing her natural locks in the ads.

“How are you promoting a hair line with a wig on ?” one person wrote while another added, “So yall putting yall hair in Rihanna hands. …. Make her show yalll what the products have done for her first lol.”

Meanwhile, others compared her promo to Beyoncé’s hair care line, which launched earlier this year.

“I love Rihanna DOWN but if Beyonce shot her ad for Cecred in a 28 piece quick weave y’all would’ve had think pieces on CNN. #FentyHair,” one person wrote on X (Twitter).

“Consumerism is why Rihanna that we’ve never seen without a wig will boldly sell hair care to you guys and you’d buy it,” another user said.

Rihanna’s Fenty Hair launches on June 13. The line adds to her ever-growing empire of Fenty-branded products, which include makeup and fragrances. However, fans are still demanding an album to follow Anti, which dropped in 2016.

Stephen A. Smith Claims Will Smith Owes Black Community An Explanation: “Chris Rock is Damaged”

Stephen A. Smith says Will Smith needs to address the Black community directly and claims slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars caused irreparable damage to the comedian.

On Sunday (June 9), the veteran sportscaster said he finds it difficult to watch Will Smith movies following the infamous 2022 incident. He claims that while Chris Rock may appear unscathed, making money and still working in Hollywood, “in the age of mental illness,” the comic is not okay.

“Chris Rock is damaged,” he said during the latest episode of the Stephen A. Smith Show. “Chris Rock will never get over that. Ever.”

He continued, “Will Smith apologized. I’m not saying he even has to apologize. I’m saying that while I watch him and Martin Lawrence promoting this movie, and I’m quite sure the reason he hasn’t addressed it is because the studios don’t want him to, and there’s an obligation that you have with them. All fair, I get it.

Stephen A Smith Finds It Hard To Watch Will Smith Movies

But somewhere along the way, he has to sit down and talk to the Black community. You see all the white people around Will Smith all you want to, Black folks have loved and revered this man for decades.”

Stephen A. Smith insisted that he still loves the actor but said he owes the Black community an explanation. “You got to have a conversation as to why you did that. It’s primarily us Black people that have loved and supported you and watched you go on an international stage and slap one of us in the face,” he added.

“A lot of folks ain’t get over that. A lot of folks find it hard to just go to the movies to watch you. I’m one of those people, and I never missed a Will Smith movie,” Stephen A. Smith said.

The First Take host’s remarks came after Will Smith’s Bad Boys: Ride or Die surpassed projections, earning $ 56 million on its domestic opening weekend and $104 million globally.

Posting a clip of his Will Smith discussion on social media, Stephen A. Smith promised to share some “additional thoughts” on his podcast.

Foxy Brown Could Play Pivotal Role In Convicting Keefe D For 2Pac’s Murder

Foxy Brown is reportedly among the list of witnesses prosecution is hoping to get on the stand in the murder case against Keefe D. The controversial Hip-Hop figure is believed to have played a crucial role in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur.

According to The U.S. Sun, Foxy Brown was in Las Vegas on the night of the infamous drive-by shooting and allegedly saw Keefe D in Sin City. Despite writing about meeting Foxy Brown and being in Las Vegas that evening for his book, Keefe D now claims everything he said was a lie. His legal strategy is that there’s no evidence he was in town and only claimed he was a “shot caller” for “fame and fortune.”

Lead prosecutors have contacted Foxy Brown to take the stand in November’s trial.

“There are secret and delicate conversations going on about Foxy being a witness at the trial,” an insider said. “She could prove vital in taking the stand or even making a statement about her recollection of being around the men, who claim they were in her company for a short while before they set off to murder 2Pac.

“Obviously, central to her involvement to the trial will be whether she has any recollection of Keefe. The prosecutors know that having independent and credible verification of Keefe being in Vegas would be a major benefit to their case. And it would destroy Keefe’s defense of ‘there’s no evidence I was even there,’ which has been presented by his lawyer in recent weeks.”

The insider continued, “There are many delicate factors for Foxy to consider. Being in this trial would bring a lot of eyes to her and not necessarily present her in the right light. Secondly, the characters she was socializing with back then had varied backgrounds and lifestyles. Another factor would be taking the stand means facing cross-examination, which could put her on record being asked about matters in her life which may be fresh or potentially shocking.

“Some people may forget that Foxy has a criminal past too, being convicted for assaulting two nail stylists in 2006. These interactions with Foxy are being kept secret between just a couple of the district attorneys and team members. Nothing is confirmed about what, if any, evidence she will provide.”

In Keefe D’s memoir, Compton Street Legend, he wrote Foxy Brown was present during a meeting with the late New York City socialite and party planner Eric “Zip” Martin. He claimed Martin provided a gun to his gang of Southside Crips, including his nephew Orlando Anderson, who’s long been suspected of being the triggerman.

Keefe D has publicly claimed Anderson used that Glock to kill 2Pac during a drive-by shooting near the famous Las Vegas strip. He wrote Foxy was in the car with Martin right before the gun was handed over. He also suggested that he met Martin, who was with Foxy Brown inside a Mercedes-Benz, at the MGM Grand Casino, close to the valet drop-off.

Davis wrote, “As I walked up to the driver’s side window, I noticed that the rapper, Foxy Brown, was in the car with Zip.”

“So he instructed her to step out of the car and motioned for me to jump in,” he wrote. “Zip had a hidden compartment that he opened up, reached in, and pulled a black .40 Glock out. He turned to me and said, ‘It’s time to get the money.’ Zip handed me the 17-shot pistol, which I promptly put down the back waist of my pants. I hopped out of the car, held the door open for Foxy Brown to get back in, closed the door, and they pulled off.“

Keefe D maintains his innocence. The trial takes place November 4.
