Saucy Santana Reacts To Gilbert Arenas Praising His Twerking Skills: “I Had A Crush On You”

The online back-and-forth between Gilbert Arenas and Saucy Santana took an unexpected turn. An exchange that began with tension seems to be transforming into mutual admiration.

Gilbert Arenas initially got Saucy Santana’s attention after making fun of the openly gay rapper’s friendship with Nick “Swaggy P” Young. That conversation between Arenas and Young elicited a response from Santana.

However, Arenas changed his tune while speaking with Nick Young again. This time the former Washington Wizards guard praised Saucy Santana’s twerking ability.

“I’m not gonna lie… If I had to rate between who’s better, him or Megan Thee Stallion, I don’t know who I’m gonna throw my dollars to,” Gilbert Arenas told Nick Young.

A clip of that No Chill Gil moment made the rounds on social media. Saucy Santana got wind of what Gilbert Arenas had to say about his dancing skills and shared his reaction to those remarks.

“WAIT- ayoooo, Gil! Lemme holla at u!!! I had a crush on you since I was [a] kid. U my baby daddy [tongue emoji],” Saucy Santana tweeted on Sunday (March 17).

Previously, Santana took issue with Arenas suggesting a straight man like Nick Young cannot be friends with him because of his sexuality. The “Material Girl” performer joined Young as a cast member for season three of College Hill Celebrity Edition.

DDG Makes Halle Bailey Adorable Award Show After Losing Recent Nominations

DDG earned major brownie points from Halle Bailey and her fans after surprising the singer with an adorable award show.

The rapper and YouTuber explained that he wanted to honor the mother of his newborn after she failed to win any of her recent nominations.

“Me and Halle went to the NAACP Awards,” DDG began a Snapchat video. “She got nominated for three awards. She also got nominated for a Grammy earlier in the year. But I was kinda mad that she didn’t win. I feel like she should have won at least one of the awards.”

He continued, “I was very very upset that she didn’t win knowing how much of an impact she made on the Black community last year and it’s a Black award show. She was kinda down and out about it.”

DDG told Halle to “forget them awards” before plotting his own ceremony. “She has no idea what’s going on,” he wrote alongside a video of the award show.

“Halle Bailey for the best woman award,” he said in the clip, as Halle became visibly emotional

The last trophy was presented by their son, Halo, “for the best mother award.”

“You don’t have to do that. Why did you do that?” The Little Mermaid star said in between sobs.

While some Halle Bailey fans have been vocal with their disapproval over the singer and actress dating DDG, he was widely praised for the award show

“DDG doing the Halle Awards to cheer her up was quite literally the cutest thing,” wrote one fan.

“DDG noticed she’s been moody and he goes out to buy 6 award and did a whole award presentation show for her,” another added.

Meek Mill Rejects Akademiks’ $1M Podcast Deal: “I’m Richer Than Everybody That Deal With You”

Meek Mill shot down DJ Akademiks’ $1 million proposal, clowning the controversial media figure after he offered the Philly rapper a seven-figure podcast deal.

“I’m richer than everybody that deal with you lol,’ Meek wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Sunday (March 17).

He took a shot at Ak for streaming while “drunk” and insisted he has plans for a culture-shifting podcast. Meek claimed he didn’t need the deal because he’s rich and surrounded by billionaire friends.

“Not like a finance podcast deal thing lol I hang around all billionaires and I’m caked up,” he said. “You streaming for your chair getting drunk … I’m changing laws and stopping major hood beefs and trying to uplift the culture!”

X/Meek Mill

According to Meek, he already has former collaborator Kid Art on board to produce the podcast. “He’s the Virgil with the camera!” he added, comparing Kid Art to the late Virgil Abloh.

Akademiks had initially offered Meek Mill “a Million dollars up front,” to produce a weekly podcast, despite their recent beef .

“We own video and audio, with a option to renew for a second year,” he said. “Also we buss down ads 50% on any ads we bring in (Prizepicks, Fashionova etc). You can own the podcast, but we share the IP as long as u in the deal.”

Meek didn’t initially respond to his $1 million offer but teased a few details about his podcast, including the name.

“I just wanna get in media now and rap to tell reforms stories about the system let others share their stories and address all propraganda,” he wrote. “Uplift the black culture … stop beefs publicly .. it’s gonna be called ‘culture currency’.”

Cardi B Doesn’t Split Bills With Offset Despite Controversial 50/50 Remarks

Cardi B is responding to the backlash she faced over her comments about couples going 50/50 in relationships, clarifying that she and Offset do not split the bills after she was roasted for going halves with her man amid cheating allegations.

Last week, Cardi went viral over her controversial take. She suggested couples should share expenses and pool their finances to maximize their potential to invest in their future.

However, Cardi said her comments divided the sexes. “The men started praising me and the women started attacking me,” she said during an Instagram live Sunday (March 17). “First things first, I never said women and men have to go 50/50.”

Cardi said fans were “cursing me out” for going 50/50 with husband offset amid cheating allegations.

“I want to make this very f###### clear. Me and Offset, we don’t go 50/50,’ she added. “We bought a house, and we went half and half on our Atlanta home. We got two properties that we bought together, two investment homes. I bought my home in Jersey myself, and he bought a condo in Miami himself. “

Cardi went on to say that although she and Offset are fortunate to be “part of the one percent,” she came from humble beginnings.

Last December, Cardi B announced she and Offset had broken up amid cheating allegations. In another Instagram Live over the weekend, she denied claims they were divorced.

Kanye West Preps $8M Lawsuit Against YesJulz After She Dares Him To Sue

Kanye West appears to be following through with his plan to sue his former employee, social media influencer, YesJulz

When Kanye West threatened social media influencer YesJulz with legal action after firing her over alleged NDA violations, she dared him to sue, and now it appears Ye is doing just that to the tune of over $8 million.

On Sunday evening (March 17), West took to his Instagram Stories with a scathing “notice of intent” detailing his claim against YesJulz using her real name, Julianne Goddard.

He claims she “intentionally, and grossly violated,” the agreement and alleges multiple unauthorized disclosures, including confidential texts and Vultures rollout plans.

“To say Goddard suffers from a lack of impulse control would be to excuse her from responsibility for behavior that is hurtful, hateful and destructive; it is to give her pattern of mendacious, malicious, manipulative outbursts a pass,” the filing continues.

The document bizarrely references Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart before accusing her of a “lukewarm and never-ending stream of willful, reckless and vindictive breaches.”

The claim noted the “extraordinary” damages sought but insists it is because Yes Julz’s “determination to disrupt business functions and sow discord” is unparalleled.

“Goddard freely acknowledges that she has violated the NDA and intends to do more,’ the claim states.  “Upon her termination she posted on X (Twitter): ‘F*ck an NDA sue me… I dare Milo or any lawyers at YZY to try.’ They now do.”

West is seeking “In excess of $8,000,000” over the allegedly “deceitful disclosures,” and “malicious violations.”

YesJulz Responds To Kanye West

YesJulz seemingly reacted on X, although she did not mention Kanye West directly. She did, however, name his chief of staff, far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.

“Keep poking me You are about to get the reaction you want,” she wrote. “Lol F### MILO Try me you little b####.”

Drake Gifts Pregnant Fan $25K After She Asks Rapper To Be Her “Rich Baby Daddy”

Drake responded to a pregnant fan’s request to be her “rich baby daddy” after spotting her in the crowd at one of his recent shows.

The OVO founder has made a habit of blessing his fans with generous gifts during his It’s All A Blur — Big As The What? tour, and it was no different when he spotted a fan holding a sign referencing his For All The Dogs collab with Sexyy Red and SZA.

“She’s got a sign that says, ‘I’m five months pregnant, can you be my rich baby daddy?’” Drake said, addressing the crowd. “I don’t want to offend your real baby daddy, but I would love to.”

However, before continuing, Drake shared his concerns for the expectant mother’s safety.

“First of all, get you out of the pit so we can put you somewhere safe like the V.I.P. or some s###. Because you can’t be pregnant and bouncing around,” Drake told the fan. “When I start playing some of these slappers, we can’t have you getting pushed around. Second of all, I’d love to give you $25,000 so you can be a rich baby mama.”

Meanwhile, over the weekend, Sexyy Red faced backlash over her Rolling Loud performance of Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy.” Clips of her set went viral, with fans roasting her noticeably off-key performance.

“Y’all, [laughing my a## off],” she wrote on Instagram, reacting to the chatter. “I was sick with a fever and couldn’t breathe when I recorded this. I told [Drake] that no one would understand me, and I sounded crazy. He said, ‘No, you’re fine.’ Anyway, here’s the lyrics to [‘Rich Baby Daddy’] once and for all.”

Chad Ochocinco Makes URL Debut With Surprise Freestyle Battle Against Charlie Clips & DNA

Chad Ochocinco just cut his battle rap teeth against two of the culture’s biggest stars on Ultimate Rap League’s Volume XI event.

For the past week, the former Bengals wide receiver has been calling out a roster of top names, including Loaded Lux, DNA, Charlie Clips, Hollow Da Don, Goodz and Aye Verb.

The MCs fired back, leading to a faceoff between Ochocinco and Loaded Lux live on air with Shannon Sharpe on Nightcap

Then, on Saturday evening (March 16), Ocho surprised viewers tuned into URL’s Volume XI, bursting onto the broadcast after an intense clash between Tay Roc and Serius Jones. The ex-NFL star was in town and decided to pull up to handle his business in person, telling hosts CHAMPION’s Jay Blac and URL Princess Nunu Nellz that he’s got the best pen in the building.

“We got Smack right there, we got a coin right there, what do you want to do?” Blac asked Ocho.

“I’m a start with DNA and Charlie Clips,” Ochocinco replied. “And I want both of them at the same time.”

Within moments, URL co-founder Smack White was introducing Ocho to the stage for a one-round impromptu freestyle battle with the veteran duo.

Ocho kicked off the clash with a few jabs at his opponents before DNA and Clips got in on the act.

Later in the evening, Ochocinco told Smack he intends to take on all the best URL rappers, starting with Arsonal.

“My pen is like that,” he declared. They nice but I’m like that. It’s a difference.”

He later caught up with Arsonal in the parking lot. Check out their exchange below.

Queen Latifah Calls Out Pay Inequality For Black Actresses At NAACP Image Awards

Queen Latifah paid tribute to Taraji P. Henson while hosting the NAACP Image Awards, speaking up about Black actresses experiencing pay inequality in Hollywood. Returning as host for the second consecutive year, Queen Latifah gave Henson her flowers at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium Saturday night (March 16). She raised the subject while addressing the topic of inflation.

“You know what’s not feeling inflation?” she asked. “Equal pay for Black actresses,” Henson replied from her seat in the auditorium. “Thank you, Taraji, for standing up for all of us,” she began before asking all the Black actresses in the room to get to their feet.

“Thank you so much for working so hard and representing us,” she added, urging the women to remain standing as the audience cheered wildly.

“Everybody else in this whole room stand up for all of us Black actresses who have been representing for us. Support us. Join us,” she continued. “Because it’s you who stand next to us every day. We know this and we want to say thank you.”

Henson later won Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture for her role in The Color Purple. The movie scooped a whopping 11 NAACP Image Awards, including Outstanding Motion Picture.

USHER also won big on the night, snagging the Entertainer of the Year award. He also was honored with the President’s Award “in recognition of special achievement and distinguished public service.”

Meanwhile, New Edition was inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame.

Kevin Hart Delighted By Portrait Gift From Co-Star Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Kevin Hart was recently “delightful and flattered” to receive a unique wrap gift from his co-star Gugu Mbatha-Raw – a portrait painted by the actress herself.

This heartfelt gesture occurred as filming wrapped on their latest project, the heist thriller “Lift,” in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The bond between Hart, known for his comedic timing in “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” and Mbatha-Raw, acclaimed for her performances in “Belle” and “The Morning Show,” was strengthened not only through their shared screen time but also by their mutual love for art.

The film’s director, F. Gary Gray, further encouraged their interest in the visual arts by introducing them to an exhibition as part of their character development for “Lift.”

This experience provided them with common ground, despite Mbatha-Raw’s self-description as being like “chalk and cheese” with Hart.

“Kevin’s got such an exuberant spirit, I ended up painting him and having the background exploding in a Pop Art kind of way. If you’re looking for any silver lining to the isolation – if I hadn’t been forced to stop in my normal rhythm of life, maybe I wouldn’t have come back to it,” Mbatha-Raw told W Magazine .

An avid art collector, Hart found a kindred spirit in Mbatha-Raw who describes herself as an “art nerd.”

Throughout the production, Kevin Hart sought Mbatha-Raw’s advice on potential art acquisitions, deepening their bond over shared artistic interests.

Mbatha-Raw’s journey into painting began unexpectedly after receiving an easel and paint set from actor Will Smith during the filming of “Concussion” in 2015.

Yet, it wasn’t until the isolation brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 that Mbatha-Raw fully embraced her passion for painting, starting with portraits of friends and then progressing to famous figures and co-stars, including Hart.

This artistic endeavor not only served as a therapeutic outlet during Mbatha-Raw’s recovery from Covid but also as a symbol of the unique connection forged between the two stars on set.

The painting, now proudly displayed in Hart’s home office, stands as a testament to their friendship and shared experiences during the production of “Lift.”

Kim Kardashian Criticized As “Eco-Terrorist” Over Private Jet Usage

Kim Kardashian has been labeled an “eco-terrorist” by some for her frequent use of a $150 million private jet, sparking outrage among environmental activists and social media users.

The accusations follow close scrutiny of her air travel habits, which have been prominently featured on the Instagram account “KimKJet,” dedicated to tracking the flights of her luxury aircraft.

Since the beginning of 2024, Kardashian’s jet has embarked on more than 30 flights, including a staggering five flights in a single day.

Many of these journeys were for short distances, with numerous trips lasting less than 40 minutes.

According to reports, these flights have consumed over 35,420 gallons of jet fuel, leading to the emission of approximately 425 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This fact has raised concerns about the impact on global warming and climate change.

Kim Kardashian’s private jet, a customized Boeing 777, exemplifies the epitome of luxury air travel.

The aircraft is equipped with features such as a master suite, a full-size bathroom, a private dining room, and an array of entertainment options, ensuring that Kardashian and her entourage travel in utmost comfort and style.

However, the environmental cost of such convenience has become a point of contention.

The term “eco-terrorist,” as defined by the FBI, refers to the use or threatened use of violence of a criminal nature against innocent victims or property by an environmentally-oriented, subnational group for environmental-political reasons or aimed at an audience beyond the target often of a symbolic nature.

While Kardashian’s use of her private jet does not meet the legal definition of eco-terrorism, the term has been used colloquially by critics to highlight what they see as a disregard for the environmental impact of her travel habits.

As of now, Kim Kardashian has not publicly responded to these allegations.

Meanwhile, debates and discussions continue to unfold across various social media platforms, with users expressing a wide range of opinions on the matter.

“Ridiculous,” one user quipped, while another asked, “Is this a joke? 8 minutes on the flight?? These rich people do that.”

North West Conducts First On-Camera Interview Ahead Of New LP—But Don’t Blink Or You’ll Miss It

In an industry where carrying a legacy is as much a blessing as it is a challenge, North West—the firstborn child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West—has stepped into the limelight with confidence.

She recently granted what is believed to be her first official on-camera interview with teen influencer Jazzy, demonstrating a media poise well beyond her years. During the engaging conversation, West provided eager fans with tantalizing glimpses into her highly anticipated debut album, Elementary School Dropout.

At just 10 years old, North West has already showcased her musical talents, contributing to the rap scene with her appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 list through a collaboration with her father, “Talking.” Now, as she prepares to launch her solo career, the music world watches with bated breath.

Throughout the interview, North West carried herself with a grace that hinted at having absorbed the media savviness of her celebrity parents. When probed about the specifics of her upcoming album release, she skillfully managed expectations by stating, “I don’t know.”

The air of mystery extended to questions about potential collaborations, including whether her father would be featured on the album. With a smile, she teased, “Maybe, we don’t know yet.”

The album’s title, Elementary School Dropout, borrow from her father’s breakthrough project, The College Dropout, suggesting the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in terms of creativity and audaciousness.

North West’s decision to go public with her album details at a listening party for her father’s album, Vultures 2, in Phoenix speaks volumes. It demonstrates not just a continuation of the West musical legacy but perhaps the dawn of a new era in rap, marked by the young star’s entrance onto the scene.

Jazzy, the interviewer, aptly commended North West for maintaining an aura of mystery around her album, further amplifying the buzz and excitement among fans and observers alike.

As the interview concluded, it was clear North West, even at her young age, has already mastered the art of engaging with the media. Watch the clip above.

Adidas CEO Pondered Hiding From Ye During Unexpected Airport Encounter

Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden considered hiding from Ye as a chance encounter at a Las Vegas airport following the Super Bowl unfolded.

A viral photo of the pair together during the unexpected meeting fueled rumors online about the potential for collaboration despite the recent conclusion of the Yeezy brand partnership.

Gulden was quick to clarify the nature of the encounter, stating there was no business intent behind the meeting.

“It was not a meeting, there was no business discussion,” said Gulden, addressing the widespread conjecture stirred by the photo.

He humorously pondered the social protocol of bumping into high-profile figures in public spaces, asking, “If you meet him at an airport, I don’t know what you do. Do you hide? Or what do you do?”

This meeting occurred amid Adidas’s phased sell-off of its remaining Yeezy inventory.

The company has firmly stated that the lucrative collaboration that brought the Yeezy brand to prominent heights within the sneaker and fashion landscapes will not be renewed.

Despite the past success, Adidas is charting forward with its own plans for the future, leaving the partnership with Ye in the past.

The speculative buzz around the photo of Gulden and Ye is juxtaposed with a firm stance from Adidas on the cessation of their collaboration.

The closure of the Adidas-Yeezy partnership has not gone without its controversies.

Ye levied criticism towards Adidas for continuing to sell Yeezy-branded products without his authorization, arguing that the company is capitalizing on his creative output unjustly.

He has even gone to the extent of urging his fans to boycott Adidas products in response.

This ongoing feud with Ye has substantially impacted Adidas’s financial health. The grievances and subsequent boycott have contributed to Adidas reporting a substantial financial loss in 2023, marking the company’s first net loss in over three decades.

The reported net loss stood at approximately $767 million dollars, showcasing the significant repercussions of the severed partnership.

UTFO’s Doc Ice Emerges As Unexpected Hero In Subway Crisis

UTFO rapper Doc Ice is being hailed as a hero for his quick wits and calm demeanor during a violent altercation on a Brooklyn bound subway train last week. The conductor of the A train that tuned into a deadly confrontation on March 15 was none other than Hip-Hop legend Doc Ice.

Doc Ice, known for his contribution to one of Hip-Hop’s most iconic tracks “Roxanne, Roxanne” found himself in the midst of chaos, leaving him feeling what he described as “shell-shocked.” He was at the controls of the train, when a heated exchange between Younece Obuad and DaJuan Robinson turned violent.

The argument, propelled by Robinson’s aggression toward Obuad, labeled a migrant, quickly escalated. In a desperate defense, Obuad’s girlfriend wielded a knife, stabbing Robinson. The situation reached a critical juncture when Robinson, injured and enraged, pulled out a gun.

In the ensuing struggle, Obuad managed to wrestle the firearm away from Robinson and shot him four times, leaving him critically wounded. The vivid recall of the event by Doc Ice highlights the terrifying moments inside the train.

“You just hear, ‘bow, bow, bow,’” he told the New York Post. Amidst the panic and fear, Doc Ice acted swiftly to ensure the safety of his passengers, describing a feeling of helplessness but a determination to protect those on board.

“It just felt like [I was in] a helpless place, where you couldn’t do nothing for nobody. But I got the train in the station, opened up the doors and let the cops do what they got to do to keep these people safe,” Doc Ice said.

Doc Ice’s transition from music to operating trains hasn’t shielded him from the unpredictable dangers of the city. Reflecting on the incident, he expressed a newfound vulnerability in his role.

“Bullets don’t have no name,” he lamented, underscoring the reality that his cab offers no protection from gunfire.

As authorities continue to unpick the sequence of events, the question of whether the shooting was an act of self-defense remains. The investigation is ongoing, with no clear indication yet if charges will be brought forward against the man who fired the gun.

Kanye West Clowns Boosie Badazz’s Response To Claim He Invented Every Musical Style

Kanye West mocked Boosie Badazz after the Baton Rouge native shot down Ye’s recent claim that he invented every style of music in the last two decades.

According to a swiftly deleted Instagram Story post, West just realized Boosie’s “Wipe Me Down” came out in 2007, during the period he claims to have created all music styles. West roasted Boosie over the track, joking that he had nothing to do with that genre of music.

“I take no responsibility whatsoever for whatever that genre would be,” he wrote.

Boosie Badazz was reacting to a claim Kanye West made during an interview with radio personality Big Boy.

“I done invented every style of music of the past 20 years,” Ye declared. “I created Weeknd genre, [Travis Scott], Drake. I’ma go ahead and say it, with all love, Future and [Young] Thug also because the auto-tune album, 808s [and Heartbreak].”

On Friday (March 15), Boosie took to Instagram to reject West’s claims. Furthermore, Boosie insisted nobody in the projects listens to Kanye West.

“NOT ALL GENRES NOT EVERY STYLE,” he began. NOT BOOSIE MUSIC!! YOU CANT RELATE TO NOTHING I RAP ABOUT R YOUR MUSIC!! NOBODY LISTENS TO KANYE N THE PROJECTS R THE TRENCHES!! IM,A GON HEAD N SAY IT “ MY PEOPLE DO NOT RELATE TO YOU.”

In addition to Boosie reacting to Kanye West, Kid Cudi also seemingly responded to his former collaborator. He shared a screenshot from his Wikipedia page stating that Cudi’s sound inspired 808s & Heartbreak. It also includes a quote from West acknowledging he and Cudi were “the originators of the style.”

Sexyy Red Reacts To Backlash Over Horrendous Performance Of Drake’s “Rich Baby Daddy”

Sexyy Red was among the many artists who performed at Rolling Loud California over the weekend. But one particular moment from her set has Twitter abuzz. On Saturday (March 16), a clip of the Open Shift/gamma. rapper singing SZA’s verse on Drake’s For All the Dogs single “Rich Baby Daddy” went viral. Noticeably off-key, Sexyy Red did her best to sing, but it didn’t quite land. As a result, people ripped her to shreds on social media, pointing out the music industry will make “anyone” famous these days.

The St. Louis native ultimately reacted to the chatter, writing on Instagram, “Y’all, [laughing my a## off]. I was sick with a fever and couldn’t breathe when I recorded this. I told [Drake] that no one would understand me, and I sounded crazy. He said, ‘No, you’re fine.’ Anyway, here’s the lyrics to [‘Rich Baby Daddy’] once and for all.”

Sexyy Red is likely easily ignoring the criticism now that her latest single, “Get It Sexyy,” is crushing it on streaming platforms. The song managed to dethrone Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s “CARNIVAL” hit from the No. 1 spot on Apple Music’s Top Songs chart, bumping the duo to No. 2.

Produced by Tay Keith and Jake Fridkis, “Get It Sexyy” marks her biggest single debut on both Apple Music and Spotify. Drake previously plugged the track via Instagram on Friday (3/15), writing the “GOAT just dropped.” He also gifted her with four Chanel bags around the same time she gave birth to her second child.

Kanye West’s Manager Flexes On Kai Cenat Over Viral “Vultures” Merch Review

Kanye West sent YouTube personality Kai Cenat a message regarding a recent review of some Vultures merch. Now West’s apparent manager, John Monopoly, is getting involved. On Saturday (March 16), Monopoly left a comment on a social media post suggesting he’d be willing to square up with Kai Cenat over the viral video.

“We good,” he wrote. “But if we ever need to link up face to face I’ll meet him in HIS hood on 241st and Carpenter. Just me plus 1. He can bring his WHOLE team. Just so y’all understand the type of time we on. May Allah bless you all.”

Kanye West was initially upset after Cenat unboxed some free Vultures merchandise during a livestream and complained about some of the items being too big. Not long after, West direct messaged Cenat with, “Don’t make no jokes about my clothes, when you ain’t say nothing about what Adidas is doing. When ‘Vultures’ song came out you ain’t play my verse. You controlled. Don’t play with me.”

The two engaged in a lengthy back-and-forth via Instagram direct messages, with the contentious exchange ending with West writing, “F### you n####. You was told to diss my s###. You a pawn.”

Monopoly eventually reached Cenat by phone, which the Cenat livestreamed. Judging by his reaction, he was both confused and humored by Monopoly’s serious tone. Monopoly insisted he could be in New York “tomorrow” to meet up, but Cenat argued he moves “mad slow” and would need to get to know him first before seeing him in person.

Watch the breakdown below. The Monopoly phone call happens toward the end.

How Much Does Bruno Mars Really Owe MGM Casino In Gambling Debt?

Oh man, the rumor mill is spinning fast and furious around Bruno Mars! First things first let us establish what is going on. This is being reported as facts from an unnamed source, but it is definitely a rumor at the moment. The story is loaded with drama and intrigue, just the way we like it in the rumor world, but let’s break it down with a grain of salt.

Bruno Mars is a fixture in Vegas at this point and has a lengthy residency at the Park MGM. That’s established and legit. But a recently report says the hit maker is $50 million in the hole from extensive gambling? $50 MILLION? According to NewsNation’s report, an unnamed source claims Bruno’s got this massive debt with MGM and is in a serious financial black hole.

But, it is weird. Bro has a $90 million-a-year deal with MGM! (For perspective, $90 mill the same mount Biden is using to fix the United States infrastructure.) He also has a new cocktail lounge, The Pinky Ring, at the Bellagio. So, he is not “broke,” but this certainly does not make good financial sense. Who advises him? I have so many questions. One report says, when it is all said a done, Bruno goes “home” with about $1.5 million. But here’s the thing. This is just people talking.

Well, I did a bit of talking and got to the bottom of it a bit. First of all, a source with me told me that the debt is real, but could not confirm how much. How close are they to the situation? Not THAT close, clearly. But there is some truth to it all. Somebody near the situation said that the brother man have a bad habit that involves the nostrils. I won’t say more than that, but there is a lot under the surface here.

That said, Bruno is going to be ok. His earning power and business acumen mean that he will be fine. BUT…some folks concerned with more than money, feel he may be living on the edge. I hope he does not fall off.

Bro about to be singing for a very long time!

Mathew Knowles Expresses Admiration For Granddaughter Blue Ivy As Fans Rush To Her Defense

Mathew Knowles extended his admiration and support to his granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter, in a touching Instagram post, but eagle-eyed fans zoomed in on the eyebrow-raising portion in particular.

Knowles’s letter comes after witnessing firsthand the dedication and talent displayed by Blue Ivy during Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour.

Although she is only a kid, the budding star has been making waves and garnering attention for her performances alongside her iconic mother.

Knowles, the music mogul renowned for managing Destiny’s Child, reminisced about a specific incident in London during the tour. He learned about Blue Ivy’s commitment to excellence after a disappointing response to her first performance.

“I remember coming back stage in London to the Renaissance concert and asking about you. Beyoncé replied ‘she is there rehearsing’ and then I understood why because one of your friends had commented negatively about your first performance on the tour. In that moment I was so proud that you wanted to put in the work to get better,” Mature Knowles said.

Rapsody Explains Sanaa Lathan’s Role in Shaping New Album “Please Don’t Cry”

In the realm of Hip-Hop, the impact of personal connections and mutual inspiration often propels artists to new heights.

Such is the case with Rapsody’s latest musical offering, her single “Stand Tall” and the forthcoming album Please Don’t Cry.

The influence and encouragement of actress Sanaa Lathan have played a pivotal role in Rapsody’s creative process for this project.

Rapsody, a three-time Grammy-nominated artist, reveals that “Stand Tall” was the conceptual spark that ignited the creation of her fourth studio album.

She shares, “I would say it represents my desire to speak to my humanness in the most free way. It started me on the journey, and it required me to be fearless, which is why I titled it ‘Stand Tall’ – be firm in who you are, legs straight, shoulder back, chest out,” Rapsody explained.

Lathan encouraged and supported Rapsody’s pursuit of authenticity and self-expression. Rapsody regards Lathan as a significant influence and friend.

Lathan’s journey and vulnerability inspired Rapsody to embrace her truth, a theme that resonates throughout the album.

“Rapsody never ceases to amaze me with her poetic genius. So thrilled to see her put out her latest masterpiece with this new level of vulnerability and authenticity; all layered over infectious beats. Can’t wait for the world to experience this one,” Sanaa Lathan said.

The connection between Rapsody and Lathan extends beyond personal affinity; it delves into the roots of Hip-Hop itself.

Sanaa Lathan, an acclaimed actress known for her roles in movies such as “Love & Basketball” and “Brown Sugar,” has Hip-Hop in her lineage.

Her father, Stan Lathan, is a renowned figure in the Hip-Hop world, having directed hip-hop classics like “Beat Street” and produced “Def Comedy Jam.”

This shared heritage has no doubt enriched their collaboration and mutual understanding.

“Sanaa was one of my guides and supporters on that journey. She offered so much insight, support, and tools to usher me through; as well as inspiring me with her own vulnerability. I’m grateful to have a friend in her and why I wanted to have this conversation with her first. She’s one of the biggest reasons I was even able to finish the album,” Rapsody added.

Rapsody’s Please Don’t Cry, now available for pre-order, is brimming with introspection and the raw honesty that her audience has come to expect.

Beyond the vulnerability, the album also features an ensemble cast of collaborators, including Phylicia Rashad, Erykah Badu, Lil Wayne, Alex Isley, and Baby Tate.

The project has been four years in the making and aims to explore the depth of Rapsody’s talent more profoundly than ever before.

Please Don’t Cry is set to drop on  May 17th.

David Alan Grier Credits Rosie Perez For Hip-Hop Acts On “In Living Color”

In a recent sit-down with AllHipHop, veteran comedian and actor David Alan Grier discussed his illustrious career and his latest film project, “The American Society of Magical Negroes.”

During the interview, Grier delved into the important contributions of Hip-Hop to his career, especially his time on the groundbreaking sketch comedy show “In Living Color.”

“In Living Color,” which aired from 1990 to 1994, revolutionized television in numerous ways, not least of which was integrating Hip-Hop culture into mainstream media.

While the show is often remembered for its daring sketches and the launch of several high-profile careers, a less-told story is that of Rosie Perez’s pivotal role in blending Hip-Hop with the show’s comedic fabric.

“It was Rosie Perez because her position was not official,” Grier revealed, shedding light on the unofficial yet critical role Perez played behind the scenes. “She was the one who brought all these emerging Hip-Hop acts onto ‘In Living Color.'”

As the show’s choreographer, Perez had an ear to the ground in the Hip-Hop community and leveraged her position to introduce Hip-Hop music and artists to a broader audience.

According to Grier, Perez had an unparalleled knack for convincing the show’s creator, Keenan Ivory Wayans, of the cultural and entertainment value these artists could bring.

“[She] convinced Keenan, here we should put these people on, put these people on, and so it was all hands on deck,” Grier recalled about Perez’s persuasive efforts.

This initiative greatly contributed to “In Living Color’s” legacy as a show that was not only funny but also culturally relevant and innovative.

The program featured performances by notable Hip-Hop acts, including Heavy D & The Boyz, Queen Latifah, and Public Enemy, blending the lyrical and musical creativity of Hip-Hop with the show’s comedic genius.

Grier reflected on the creative atmosphere of the show, emphasizing the open-door policy for creativity: “You can sit here and waste all this time or do your work, come with your characters, and we’ll give you some daylight if they’re good.”

This environment allowed Hip-Hop to be integrated into the show, thrive, and become a cornerstone of its identity.

As the conversation veered towards the present, Grier mused on the evolution of Hip-Hop.

“It’s funny, I’m trying to think, sometimes I don’t even know what Hip-Hop is anymore,” indicating the genre’s vast growth and permutations over the years.

This reflection underscores Hip-Hop’s indelible influence not only on Grier and “In Living Color” but also on entertainment and culture at large.

From its inception, “In Living Color” broke molds and pushed boundaries, thanks in no small part to Rosie Perez’s vision and determination to fuse Hip-Hop with comedy.

This made the show a seminal piece in the narrative of Hip-Hop’s journey into mainstream consciousness.
