Cardi B hurled a microphone at a fan who attended her show at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday (July 29). Footage showed an audience member tossing a drink at the Atlantic Records artist, who responded by throwing her mic.

Police investigated the incident after a woman reported it as a battery on Sunday (July 30). But cops opted to not pursue charges against Cardi B.

Cardi B’s microphone was recovered and put up for auction by the audio company responsible for the equipment. The current bid is listed at $99,900 as of Thursday night.

The eBay auction ends on August 8. All the proceeds will be donated to two charities: Friendship Circle in Las Vegas and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Doja Cat Books Headlining Gig On Victoria’s Secret Show Despite Feud With Her Fans

Doja Cat upset many of her die-hard fans by criticizing them in July, but the bad publicity did not stop Victoria’s Secret from working with her. The retailer enlisted the polarizing artist to headline The Victoria’s Secret World Tour, which will stream on Amazon Prime Video.

“Victoria’s Secret has always been such a fun, go-to brand for me since early on, and I love that I can still say that today,” Doja Cat told Harper’s Bazaar. “Being a part of a global phenomenon like the Tour has been an incredible experience.”

The Victoria’s Secret World Tour – described as part fashion show, part documentary – premieres on September 26. The event will feature new music from Doja Cat.

“I don’t want to spoil too much, but like past projects, there’s lots of different energy to songs, plus new sounds that I’ve never explored before,” she said. “So that is exciting to me, and I can’t wait to put it out.”

Doja Cat collaborated with Victoria’s Secret on her look for the show. According to Harper’s Bazaar, she will wear a “futuristic nude-hued latex number” she designed with the help of Victoria’s Secret and her creative director Brett Alan Nelson.

“Toxic” Lizzo Dragged By Filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison

Lizzo has been accused of creating an ‘extremely toxic’ work environment by filmmaker Sophia Nahli Allison.

The Oscar-nominated director took to Instagram and Twitter/X on Tuesday to share her negative experiences with Lizzo, 35, amid an ongoing lawsuit against the 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) singer by three of her former dancers for alleged sexual and racial harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

The filmmaker revealed that in 2019 she had considered directing Lizzo’s documentary, but ultimately decided to “walk away” after two weeks.

“I was treated with such disrespect by her,” she wrote in the social media post. “I witnessed how arrogant, self-centered and unkind she is.”

Sophia added, “I was not protected and was thrown into a sh**ty situation with little support.”
The filmmaker returned to social media on Wednesday to elaborate on her claims.

“To be clear. Since I’ve spoken out, I’ve had others privately share their very similar experiences, and I have also been affirmed by people who witnessed what I went through,” Sophia, 36, began the statement.

“Lizzo creates an extremely toxic and hostile working environment and undermines the work, labor, and authority of other black and brown womxn in the process. (Notice how the documentary ended up being directed by a cis white man.)”

Sophia recalled originally being “excited” to work with the Grammy winner but “quickly learned her image and ‘message’ was a curated façade.”

The filmmaker concluded the post, “I stand with dancers and anyone who has had similar work experiences working with her and her team. These working conditions are not ok.”

Dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez filed the lawsuit on Tuesday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court against Lizzo, real name Melissa Jefferson, her production company Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc., and her dance captain Shirlene Quigley.

Lizzo has denied the claims.

Boosie Badazz Left In Awe After Attending Anger Management Class

Boosie Badazz learned a lot about himself at an anger management class on Thursday (August 3). The opinionated rapper discussed his first session in an Instagram video, revealing how much of his anger was connected to his expectations for other people.

“TODAY I WENT N CHECKED MYSELF INTO ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES!” Boosie wrote in the post’s caption. “I DIDN’T WANT TO GO TO A CLASS WITH OTHER PEOPLE! I GUESS CAUSE MY PRIDE N THAT’S ANOTHER THING HE SAY I NEED TO WORK ON LOL BUT MY EXPECTATIONS GOT ME MESSED. GREAT SESSION!”

Boosie planned to “cut a lot of people off” after getting a better understanding of the source of his frustration. The anger management class helped him realize how his expectations are too high.

“That s### was deep, bruh,” he said. “Finding out what make me angry and s###. My expectations, bruh … I expect so much out of people, bruh, who never show me loyalty, who never showed me none of that, bro. So, I gotta take accountability for that, bruh.”

Boosie attended the anger management class a day after he expressed interest in mentoring at-risk youth. The Baton Rouge native believed he could save lives by telling his story.

Boxer Terence Crawford Calls Out “Million Dollarz Worth Of Game” Co-Host Wallo

It appears boxer Terence Crawford feels like he can’t trust Million Dollarz Worth of Game host Wallo. After texting the motivational speaker about his recent fights and plans to take on another opponent, he said he felt betrayed when Wallo shared it with someone else.

The former Major Figgas rapper congratulated Crawford on the boxer’s recent triumph over Errol Spence via text message. After praising his exceptional performance, Wallo then asked about the possibility of Crawford squaring up with Jaron Ennis, another talent nicknamed “Boots.”

“You know Boots waiting,” Wallo texted Crawford, to which the undisputed welterweight champ responded, “Y’all trying to see another dead body.”

Wallo shot back, “He ready!!!” then posted the conversation for his 2.3 million Instagram followers.

Oprah Winfrey Stans Out Over Beyoncé: “I Am In Awe”

Oprah Winfrey has applauded Beyoncé’s acclaimed Renaissance tour.

The former talk show host, 69, attended the “Crazy In Love” star’s tour at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Oprah posted a video to Instagram to heap praise on Beyoncé and her concert, which she dubbed “the most extraordinary show” she has seen.

A post shared by Oprah (@oprah)

“I have never in my life experienced anything like that,” Oprah Winfrey began. “I couldn’t speak, I couldn’t scream, I was in awe. I am in awe of that kind of talent, that kind of synergy, what it takes to do that, that kind of expression, that kind of anointing.”

Oprah continued, “I mean that is a thing that’s coming straight from a source that creates the planet. That is like the most extraordinary thing I’ve ever seen. The most extraordinary show I’ve ever seen.”

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour is in support of her album of the same name – the singer’s seventh full-length LP which was released in July 2022.

The singer has 16 shows remaining on her tour, before a final performance at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on September 27.

Lizzo’s Instagram Followers Sink Amid Sexual Harassment & Body-Shaming Claims

Lizzo, once a beloved American superstar, has experienced a massive drop in her Instagram follower count after allegations of sexual harassment and body shaming. The singer lost 123,489 followers (and counting) since the news broke. This is a hard pill to swallow because she represented for the big girls so well! Just for some perspective, she still has 13 MILLION followers on Instagram and follows just under 300 people.

Within the past 24 hours (or so), more than 80,000 accounts have unfollowed Lizzo on Instagram, indicating the seriousness of the situation. The allegations have been brought forth by three former dancers who have filed a lawsuit against Lizzo, as well as her dance captain Shirlene Quigley and production company, Big Grrrl Big Touring. As we previously noted, she reportedly made them eat a banana out of the v## of sex workers in Amsterdam.

The allegations against the pop star include an assortment of non-legal charges that R. Kelly would probably be proud of. I am talking assault, racial and religious harassment, fat-shaming, disability discrimination and false imprisonment. Whoa! Lizzo has responded to these accusations, expressing how the past few days have been “gut-wrenchingly difficult.” In a lengthy social media post, she vehemently denied the allegations, calling them “unbelievable” and standing firm on her innocence.

On top of it all, they say Lizzo picked up some of Diddy’s ways in the midst of all this. She allegedly forced her dancers to walk from Midtown Manhattan to Brooklyn, all for the sake of obtaining a single slice of cheesecake. Remember when Diddy did that with Da Band?

That was a long time ago!

I cannot believe this. You know it’s bad when Beyoncè appears to blot you out! But Bey lovvves her dancers! I do hope it causes Lizzo to be more thoughtful because this could be a real hit to her rep and legacy.

350Heem: Woman Connected To Rapper’s Murder Arrested But Denies Being A Felon

The lawyer for a woman arrested in connection to the murder of rapper 350Heem is calling out prosecutors for labeling her a felon. According to WFLA, Jamilah Johnson has been named by Lakeland police as a suspect in the Florida rapper’s death. The department called her a title rejected by her attorney, Jeff Holmes, who went on record stating, “She’s not a convicted felon.”

Holmes, who reportedly worked on a previous case with her, said his client has no history of felonies but does have a record. In April 2022, she pleaded no contest to carrying a concealed weapon, but as part of a plea agreement, the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, as indicated in court records.

“Since she wasn’t a convicted felon and the only charge they originally arrested her for was possession by a convicted felon, she never should have been arrested,” Holmes said.

As previously reported, 350Heem was a rising star. Known for his raw street narratives and melodic flow, he was tragically shot and killed during the celebration of his latest mixtape, Taking Chances 3, at the Jade Fox Wine Bar & Lounge in Lakeland, Florida.

In a recent interview with AllHipHop, 350Heem said he felt like he was destined to be a famous rapper.

“I kind of say I feel like I was born to be a rapper when I dropped my very first project,” he said. “I was just putting out a project just because I wanted to put my money in the song, do something positive. But all the fans and supporters I gained after that, it was like they labeled me as a rapper.”

Heem’s music delved into the depths of his personal experiences and challenges, making it profoundly relatable to his fans. He firmly believed his music connected with young individuals on a journey of self-discovery, providing them with guidance and understanding along the way.

“I definitely believe that music speaks to your soul,” he said. “I definitely believe that because it’s been speaking to me my whole life.”

Diddy’s $185 Million Cannabis Deal Goes Up In Smoke

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ambitious plan to acquire a pair of marijuana operations for $185 million has collapsed.

The deal, which would have made Diddy the owner of nine stores throughout New York, Massachusetts, and Illinois, was terminated earlier this week after shareholders failed to reach an agreement.

The information was first reported by TMZ.com.

Diddy’s intention to enter the cannabis industry was part of a broader effort to diversify the industry and create opportunities for Black entrepreneurs.

The acquisition was set to follow the merger of Cresco Labs and Columbia Care, making Diddy the owner of a company with licensed marijuana operations in three states.

The investment would have created the first minority-owned vertically integrated multi-state operator,.

The Bad Boy mogul’s vision extended beyond mere business interests. Diddy aimed to work with state regulators, politicians, and cannabis executives to ensure diversity and equity in the industry.

The deal was seen as a social justice movement, with Diddy working to secure the economic inclusion of underrepresented groups in cannabis and create generational wealth through Black opportunities and employment.

Despite the setback, Diddy and his team have expressed that he and his Combs Global empire still have a vested interest in pursuing opportunities in the cannabis industry.

This is the latest setback for Diddy as he works to expand his business empire.

Recently, he lost a lucrative deal with liquor giant Diageo to market Ciroc.

The relationship soured after Diddy accused the company of racism, leading to the termination of their partnership and the winding down of their collaboration to market the tequila brand DeLeon.

Cardi B Lets Tampon String Dangle During Las Vegas Performance

Cardi B accidentally let people know she had a visit from her friend “Aunt Flo.” During a recent performance in Las Vegas, the Grammy Award-winner decided to perform without any underwear on. The crowd didn’t get just a peek of her lady parts but also a glimpse at a tiny little string from the end of her tampon.

A concertgoer who was filming the performance captured the moment on her phone. Outfitted in a long blonde wig and tiny yellow-fringe dress, the rapper danced and gyrated over to the edge and let it all hang out. The audience member filmed the performance and it eventually landed on X (FKA Twitter).

One person captioned the video, “FOOTAGE OF CARDI BEING A GREAT ROLE MODEL AS A MOTHER LETTING HER TAMPON STRING HANG IN FRONT OF THE CROWD AS SHE DANCES IN LAS VEGAS WITH NO PANTIES ON.”

The performance, hosted at Drai’s nightclub, made headlines over the weekend for another reason.

As previously reported, the rapper threw a microphone at the DJ during her performance. It appeared she did so in response to the DJ repeatedly cutting off her music during the set.

Sukihana Provides Update On Dr. Umar Johnson Meeting

Did the self-proclaimed Suki With The Good Coochie and the self-proclaimed Prince of PanAfrikanism formally discuss issues related to Black women and girls? Sukihana gave her social media followers an update on her interactions with Dr. Umar Johnson.

“I think I’m ready to sit with Dr. Umar. I seen those interviews where he spoke on me and I think he might be the one to turn me into a wife,” posted Sukihana in a now-deleted tweet from July 19.

In response, Pan-Africanism activist Dr. Umar Johnson expressed interest in sitting down with the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star. Johnson pitched the idea of a “confidential meeting” to take place at the end of July.

Sukihana and Johnson did take several photos together last weekend. Both internet personalities shared the images on their respective social media accounts. Suki captioned her picture, “Met a Pan Afrikan king today.”

However, it appears Sukihana did not get the opportunity to have an in-depth conversation with Dr. Umar. The Wilmington, Delaware native took to Twitter (aka X.com) to share some details about their recent encounter.

“I didn’t have the meeting with Dr. Umar yet but when I do I feel like I’m going to come out a whole different woman,” tweeted Suki on August 2. The “Casamigos (Pour It In My Cup)” performer did face some backlash for being photographed with the controversial critic of the LGBTQ community.

Lizzo Addresses Weight-Shaming & Sexual Harassment Allegations

Lizzo is speaking out. Over the last several days, the singer has become a trending topic on social media. Three of her former backup dancers sued the Special artist for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

According to reports, the plaintiffs filed a lawsuit against Lizzo in Los Angeles Superior Court. Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams name Jefferson, her production company, and dance captain Shirlene Quigley as defendants.

“The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing,” the plaintiffs’ lawyer, Ron Zambrano, stated.

Lizzo has now responded to the ongoing legal situation. The 35-year-old Atlantic Records recording artist broke her silence by issuing a statement on her verified Instagram page—and flatly denied the allegations.

Lizzo Says Her Former Employees Already Admitting To Being “Inappropriate” & “Unprofessional” On Tour

“These last few days have been gut-wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing,” Lizzo began. “My work ethic, morals, and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized.

“Usually, I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed. I’m devastated after hearing these fabricated claims made against me.”

Lizzo also alleged her “former employees” publicly admitted their own behavior was “inappropriate” and “unprofessional.”

She continued, “As an artist, I have always been very passionate about what I do. I take my music and my performances seriously because, at the end of the day, I only want to put out the best art that represents me and my fans.”

The chart-topping vocalist/instrumentalist also wrote, “There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.”

KayCyy Blasts Travis Scott For Snubbing Him On ‘Utopia’ Album Tracklist

Travis Scott’s Utopia is on pace to do big first-week sales numbers. The star-studded guest lineup on the studio LP likely helped push some units. However, one person called out the Houston rapper for not naming him on the project’s tracklist.

For Utopia, Travis Scott tapped Teezo Touchdown, Drake, Playboi Carti, Sheck Wes, Beyoncé, Rob49, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, Swae Lee, Yung Lean, Dave Chappelle, Young Thug, James Blake, Westside Gunn, Kid Cudi, Bad Bunny, Future, SZA, and Jame Blake as features.

However, other individuals also contributed to the album without receiving recognition on Utopia‘s official tracklist on streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. On Wednesday (August 2), KayCyy took to Twitter to blast Travis Scott for the omission.

“Why [the f###] is KayCyy’s feature still hidden? He literally wrote a large part of it and sings the entire chorus 😭,” asked a Twitter user about the “Thank God” track on Travis Scott’s Utopia. KayCyy responded, “Y’all [know] what I do! I’m not no background singer… 😤 f### Trav!!!”

Apparently, “Thank God” began as a possible track for Kanye West’s 2021 album Donda. Both Ye and KayCyy (born Mark Mbogo) are listed as songwriters for the record on Travis Scott’s album. Kanye West also got producer credit.

KayCyy has worked extensively with Kanye West. In particular, the Kenyan-born recording artist co-wrote the Donda single “Hurricane” which won Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards. KayCyy also made the writing credits for Donda‘s “Keep My Spirit Alive” featuring Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn.

As far as Utopia, Travis Scott’s latest full-length effort will likely top the next Billboard 200 album chart with an estimated 400,000 first-week units. Scott already has two Number Ones in his album discography. The 32-year-old rapper/producer previously made it to the pinnacle with 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and 2018’s Astroworld.

Gunna Reenacts O.J. Simpson’s Infamous Bronco Chase In “Rodeo Dr” Music Video

Nearly thirty years ago, a reported 95 million people watched a low-speed chase involving former NFL star O.J. Simpson play out on national television. Atlanta recording artist Gunna used the historic pop culture moment as the theme for his latest visuals.

Following the killing of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, O.J. Simpson became a suspect in their murders. On June 17, 1994, Los Angeles-area law enforcement pursued Simpson for 60 miles as he crotched in the backseat of a 1993 white Ford Bronco before taking him into custody. Simpson was later acquitted in the case.

Gunna recreated O.J. Simpson’s infamous run from the law in his new Spike Jordan-directed “Rodeo Dr” music video. The Young Stoner Life Records representative played the part of O.J. Simpson with his own white Bronco.

Also like O. J. Simpson, Georgia native Gunna saw the inside of a courtroom as a defendant. The 4-time Grammy nominee did not face a murder conviction, but he did plead guilty to racketeering in a state RICO case involving Young Thug’s YSL label.

Despite those charges and accusations of snitching on his co-defendants, Gunna still managed to find success with his 2023 studio album A Gift & a Curse. That project hosts “Rodeo Dr” as well as the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single “Fukumean.”

Gunna’s A Gift & a Curse debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart by earning 85,000 first-week units. It became the rapper’s fifth Top 10 entry. He peaked in the Billboard 200’s No. 1 position with 2020’s Wunna and 2022’s DS4Ever.

Boosie Badazz Faces Backlash For “Sexualizing” His 14-Year-Old Son

Boosie Badazz is back in the news. The Baton Rouge native regularly makes headlines for his polarizing, and sometimes offensive, comments. His recent post about one of his children has some people concerned.

On Wednesday night, Boosie Badazz shared a brief video of his son, Ray Ray, to his @mamaheliveagain2.0 Instagram page. The caption for the clip included the teenager’s father complimenting his appearance and maturity.

“MY SON @rayray_damodel SO Fine [and] MATURE FOR HIS AGE. He [makes] 15 on the 15th (hazel light brown eyes [AND] HE THE TALLEST BOY [IN] THE FAM WITH [AN] ATHLETIC BUILD),” wrote Boosie Badazz.

The southerner also typed, “HE ASK CAN HE GO TO @sexyyred VIDEO SHOOT [AND] CHECK OUT THE GIRLS. My response: F###### RIGHT YOU CAN [AND] DO YO S###‼️ THIS BOY IS [GONNA] BE THE TRUTH. I SEE IT. 😂😂😂PROUD DADDY‼️ MY SPERM IS EVERYTHING.”

https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cvdx3P-L5cU/?igshid=MTc4MmM1YmI2Ng%3D%3D

As Boosie Badazz’s video and caption spread across the internet, many commenters began bashing the 40-year-old Heartfelt album creator. Critics accused Boosie of “sexualizing” his teenage son.

In particular, some social media users disagreed with a 14-year-old boy being on the set of a music video for Sexyy Red. Much of the St. Louis-bred rapper’s music, such as her current hit “Pound Town 2” with Nicki Minaj, contains sexually explicit content.

This is not the first time the public questioned Boosie Badazz’s parenting as it relates to his male children. He also caught heat in 2020 for admitting to arranging for adult women to perform oral sex with his underage male relatives.

In the past, Boosie has had his own complaints about certain mature subject matter in the media. For example, the man born Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr. slammed BET for showing openly gay recording artist Lil Nas X kissing another man on television in 2021. He even threatened to assault Lil Nas.

Summer Walker Bares Her Booty Twerking Upside Down On A Car During Wild Girl’s Night Out

Summer Walker is letting her (newly blonde) hair down, putting her alleged split with Lil Meech behind her with a raucous girls’ night out.

The R&B songstress seemingly broke up with her actor boo last week (July 31) amid rumors of infidelity. On Wednesday (August 2), Summer Walker decided it was time to dance her cares away, donning an eye-wateringly sexy outfit for a night out at the strip club.

She didn’t pop out alone though, bringing celeb pals Sexyy Red, Sukihana and Saucy Santana along with her. The group let loose during their wild evening, as lively videos from the night show. Summer Walker showed off her all-black fit on Instagram before the antics began.

“Anyway life’s great coochie still good,” she captioned the photos.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CveF3eugtt0/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

She also shared a series of video clips from the strip club, featuring her throwing dollars on a pair of big booty dancers and having fun with her friends. In another, she revealed a nasty cut on her leg, presumably caused by turning up a little too hard.

Once the evening was over, Sukihana shared a video that likely explained the singer’s injury. In a video posted on Instagram, Summer Walker can be seen dancing on top of a vehicle. Her skimpy outfit left little to the imagination as she lay across the roof, humping the car. She then gets to her knees for a mini twerk session before diving headfirst into the sunroof.

Her friends rushed towards her, but Summer Walker was undeterred. She continued twerking while upside down with her legs spread wide in the air.

“A real friendship,” Sukihana captioned her post. Summer Walker later shared the video on her Instagram Story alongside a crying with laughter-emoji. Check out the video below.

YG Believed “Tupac Lives” Conspiracy Theories Until He Saw Afeni Shakur Mourn Her Son

YG has revealed that he believed Tupac Shakur had faked his own death and was hiding out in a secret location and was only convinced of his passing when he saw the late rapper’s mother break down over her son’s murder.

Outrageous conspiracy theories have flooded the internet since Tupac was fatally gunned down in 1996. Fans believe they spotted the West Coast icon in various locations across the globe, from Scotland to Cuba.

In a recent interview, YG admitted he believed the “Tupac Lives” conspiracies for almost twenty years. He told the This Past Weekend podcast that it was a meeting with ‘Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, at L.A’s GRAMMY Museum in 2015 that finally changed his mind. He was there to participate in a panel discussing the “All Eyes On Me” hitmaker’s legacy.

“They wanted me to come speak on behalf of the new generation, like 2Pac’s impact on us,” YG began. “I said some s### and his mama came up to me and was like crying and s###. She was like, ‘I love what you said about my son.’”

During their chat, Afeni became emotional and overcome with grief. “They really killed my baby!’” he recalled her saying.

At that moment, YG says the penny finally dropped, and he realized his long-held conspiracy theory was not true.
