Summer Walker is letting her (newly blonde) hair down, putting her alleged split with Lil Meech behind her with a raucous girls’ night out. 

The R&B songstress seemingly broke up with her actor boo last week (July 31) amid rumors of infidelity. On Wednesday (August 2), Summer Walker decided it was time to dance her cares away, donning an eye-wateringly sexy outfit for a night out at the strip club. 

She didn’t pop out alone though, bringing celeb pals Sexyy Red, Sukihana and Saucy Santana along with her. The group let loose during their wild evening, as lively videos from the night show. Summer Walker showed off her all-black fit on Instagram before the antics began.  

“Anyway life’s great coochie still good,” she captioned the photos.

She also shared a series of video clips from the strip club, featuring her throwing dollars on a pair of big booty dancers and having fun with her friends. In another, she revealed a nasty cut on her leg, presumably caused by turning up a little too hard. 

Once the evening was over, Sukihana shared a video that likely explained the singer’s injury. In a video posted on Instagram, Summer Walker can be seen dancing on top of a vehicle. Her skimpy outfit left little to the imagination as she lay across the roof, humping the car. She then gets to her knees for a mini twerk session before diving headfirst into the sunroof.  

Her friends rushed towards her, but Summer Walker was undeterred. She continued twerking while upside down with her legs spread wide in the air.  

“A real friendship,” Sukihana captioned her post. Summer Walker later shared the video on her Instagram Story alongside a crying with laughter-emoji. Check out the video below.

YG Believed “Tupac Lives” Conspiracy Theories Until He Saw Afeni Shakur Mourn Her Son

YG has revealed that he believed Tupac Shakur had faked his own death and was hiding out in a secret location and was only convinced of his passing when he saw the late rapper’s mother break down over her son’s murder.  

Outrageous conspiracy theories have flooded the internet since Tupac was fatally gunned down in 1996. Fans believe they spotted the West Coast icon in various locations across the globe, from Scotland to Cuba. 

In a recent interview, YG admitted he believed the “Tupac Lives” conspiracies for almost twenty years. He told the This Past Weekend podcast that it was a meeting with ‘Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, at L.A’s GRAMMY Museum in 2015 that finally changed his mind. He was there to participate in a panel discussing the “All Eyes On Me” hitmaker’s legacy.  

“They wanted me to come speak on behalf of the new generation, like 2Pac’s impact on us,” YG began. “I said some s### and his mama came up to me and was like crying and s###. She was like, ‘I love what you said about my son.’” 

During their chat, Afeni became emotional and overcome with grief. “They really killed my baby!’” he recalled her saying.  

At that moment, YG says the penny finally dropped, and he realized his long-held conspiracy theory was not true.  

“That s### f##### me up ’cause I thought ‘Pac was alive,” the Compton native continued. “My whole life, bro, I thought ‘Pac was alive. But that day, I’m like, ‘Nah, bro, he gone.’ His mama was crying in my face. ‘Nah, he gone!’” 

Meanwhile, detectives investigating the murder of Tupac Shakur recently uncovered potential evidence in the long-dormant case.  

Attorneys believe it is still possible to file charges against possible suspects 30 years after his death. 

Boosie Badazz Wants To Mentor At-Risk Youth: “I Can Save Some Lives From Telling My Story”

Boosie Badazz wants to step up and help save the youth, believing he can make a difference by sharing his own experiences to help keep kids on the right track. 

The outspoken rapper took to Twitter Wednesday (August 2), revealing that he had recently connected with some youths facing lengthy prison sentences. One of them reached out after their meeting to let him know the impact his words had, leading Boosie to feel he can play an active role in reaching out to at-risk youth.  

“I WENT TALKED TO SOME JUVENILES FACING REAL TIME,” Boosie wrote. “ONE OF THEM JUST REACHED OUT N SAID MY WORDS CHANGED THEM.” 

Boosie now wants to “TALK TO THESE KIDS ABOUT MOVING RIGHT N DOING RIGHT,” and believes he can be an example of what not to do.  

“I DONT WANT NOBODYS CHILD GOING THROUGH WHAT IVE BEEN THROUGH N SEEING WHAT IVE SEEN,” he added. “I THINK I CAN SAVE SOME LIVES FROM TELLING MY STORY N ALL IVE LOST.” 

Meanwhile last month, Boosie clashed online with his daughter in a dispute over an $80,000 Mercedes-Benz. Toriana (Tori) Hatch blasted her father for taking back the vehicle when she moved back to Atlanta. She claims she went to take care of her sick mother. However, Boosie said his daughter left because she knew her mother was going to hit him with child support papers.  

According to Boosie, Tori is “spoiled” and concocted the drama with her mother as a “money grab.” 

“When u lived n Atlanta u went to private schools n excelled under my roof,” he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “When she got you she controlled your mind.”

Tory Lanez’s Team Seek Probation For Rapper In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

Tory Lanez should be sentenced to probation and released from jail into a residential drug treatment program, according to a new filing from his lawyers. 

On Wednesday (August 2), the rapper’s legal team issued a memo to the court ahead of the August 7 sentencing. Legal Affairs and Trials journalist Meghann Cuniff, who has followed the case closely since the initial trial, reports the filing contends Lanez’s case is so unusual he should be given a very light sentence instead of the 13 years prison time requested by prosecutors.  

In the 41-page memo, lawyers argue Tory Lanez, referred to by his legal name, Daystar Peterson, should be given treatment rather than a lengthy sentence due to his “childhood trauma” and substance abuse issues. 

“Assuming the allegations are true, Mr. Peterson’s psychological, physical, and childhood trauma was a factor in the commission of the offense. Likewise, the current offense is connected to Mr. Peterson’s childhood trauma and mental illness, alcohol-use disorder,” the filing states.  

“Mr. Peterson’s alcohol-use disorder, although not amounting to a defense, reduced his culpability,” Lanez lawyers argue. 

In addition, they point to the ” devastating impact” imprisonment will have on Tory Lanez and his six-year-old son, Kai. 

The memo also states that the evidence of Lanez’s guilt “is questionable at best and by no means overwhelming.” They cite this as the reason his “lack of remorse” should not be considered in sentencing.  

Lawyers asked the court to “exercise its discretion” despite the aggravating circumstances jurors found true during the trial – that Tory Lanez used a fireman and that he inflicted great bodily injury on Megan – arguing California law allows for exceptions in unusual cases. They claim Tory Lanez’s case “is an unusual case in which the interests of justice would best be served if Mr. Peterson is granted probation.” 

In contrast, prosecutors cite Lanez’s lack of acceptance of responsibility and his “campaign of misinformation” aimed at “re-traumatizing” Megan Thee Stallion. “He is responsible for the effect of his words and his actions,” prosecutors wrote.  

Tory Lanez is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday (August 7), at Los Angeles County Superior Court. 

Post Malone Spends More Than $2 Million On Rare Magic: The Gathering Card

A Toronto man sold a one-of-a-kind Magic: The Gathering card to Post Malone for $2.64 million. The Republic Records artist paid the hefty price for the “One Ring” card, which was released as part of a Lord of the Rings expansion for the card game.

Brook Trafton, the card’s owner, found the rare item in a Magic: The Gathering pack. Post Malone invited the man to attend his concert in Toronto to see the card and ended up buying it.

“When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was Post Malone,” Trafton wrote in the caption of a TikTok video. “I have played MTG since I was a kid and it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life-changing.”

He added, “I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do. This is my dream come true, meeting Post Malone and him buying the One Ring card from me is literally a moment straight out of a fairytale … I am forever grateful.”

Trafton found the perfect buyer in Post Malone, a well-known Magic: The Gathering fan. Trafton told CBC News he was keeping his day job despite the sale.

Post Malone released his new album Austin on Friday (July 28). The project is expected to sell more than 100,000 units in its first week.

Lil Wayne Scoffs At AI Replicating His Voice: “I’m One Of A Kind”

AI’s ability to replicate voices raised all sorts of ethical questions in the music industry, but the technology failed to impress Lil Wayne. The diamond-selling rapper brushed off the idea of AI threatening his work in a Billboard cover story.

“Someone asked me about [AI] recently,” he said. “And they were trying to tell me that AI could make a voice that sounds just like me. But it’s not me because I’m amazing. I’m like, is this AI thing going to be amazing too? Because I am naturally, organically amazing. I’m one of a kind. So actually, I would love to see that thing try to duplicate this m###########.”

Lil Wayne also discussed his longevity in the interview. He credited his staying power to his work ethic and expressed gratitude for his career.

“I just keep going,” he said. “I never stop. It’s just the work ethic, plain and simple. No more, no less; I don’t do nothing but my music … Every single time I say the word “work,” I ask God to forgive me. ‘Cause I know this has never been a job. It’s just a dream come true. YSL Co-Founder Busted For Drugs And Guns While Young Thug Awaits Trial

Police raided the home of YSL Mondo, a co-founder of Young Thug’s YSL crew. According to WSB-TV, Mondo faces multiple drug, gun and gang-related charges in Georgia.

Cobb County records listed Mondo’s arrest date as July 27. He remains in custody.

Mondo, whose real name is Fremondo Crenshaw, was not charged in last year’s sweeping RICO indictment against Young Thug and other YSL members. Earlier this year, Mondo labeled Gunna a snitch for accepting a plea deal in the high-profile case.

“You can’t say, ‘Oh, they tricked me,’ or ‘Oh, I ain’t talk,’” Mondo said on the Ugly Money podcast. “Come on, my brother … It’s certain s### you just don’t do. And hey boy, you crossed the line, my brother … You did that.”

Young Thug is one of eight defendants left awaiting trial in the YSL RICO case. Jury selection began in January, but months went by with no jurors seated.

Last month, a judge denied bond to Young Thug yet again. The rapper has been locked up since his May 2022 arrest.

Young Thug was one of the 28 people named in the YSL RICO indictment. Some of his co-defendants took plea deals while others had their cases severed from the slow-moving trial.

Busta Rhymes Recalls Wild Story About Tupac Shakur Choking Audio Engineer

Busta Rhymes remembered a time when Tupac Shakur went a little overboard to defend Leaders of the New School at a college show in the ‘90s. The Leaders of the New School member detailed how Tupac ended up choking an audio engineer in an interview with Men’s Health.

“We doing a college show somewhere on the West Coast, and Digital Underground, [Tupac] was still with them,” Busta explained. “We get to the soundcheck late, so the sound man was kind of turning off the equipment and was like, “Y’all kind of missed your window for the soundcheck.’ Pac goes to the sound man ‘cause he hears the sound man trying to tell us we ain’t gonna get the soundcheck today, we late. Tupac starts choking this m###########.”

Leaders of the New School intervened, fearing Tupac would get them kicked off the show. Tupac justified his actions, calling the group “legends” even though they had only released one album at the time.

“[Tupac said], ‘You not gonna disrespect m############ Leaders of the New School, m###########,” Busta recalled. “We ain’t asking for none of this. So, we grabbing Pac like, ‘Stop, B! You gonna f### around and not even get us the opportunity to perform. You gonna f### up the whole bag.’ [He said], ‘Man, f### that! They can’t be disrespecting y’all. Y’all legends.’ We one album deep. He calling us legends.”

Busta told his story about Tupac a few weeks after an unexpected development in the late rapper’s murder investigation. More than 25 years after the murder, police conducted a search of a Nevada home connected to Keefe D in July.

Keefe D is the uncle of Orlando Anderson, the man considered to be the prime suspect in Tupac’s 1996 murder. Anderson died in an unrelated shooting in 1998. Police collected bullets, computers, documents and more in their search of Keefe D’s home. Cops did not announce any charges against Keefe D.

Based on some newly-released, eyebrow-raising streaming revenue data, it appears The Weeknd has been burning down Marshall Mathers pack heavily. More specifically, The Weeknd’s recent greatest hits collection album, The Highlights, secured Spotify’s top earning spot in 2023 thus far. Based on the pay-per-stream (PPS) rate of $0.004, The Weeknd’s project has reportedly generated nearly $9.2 million and garnered well over 23 million streams this year alone. Sidebar—$0.004 PPS is crazy! Like crazier than Travis Scott playing an unreleased version of UTOPIA for Pharrell, only to add Drake to the album to diss him upon release, or thinking that Egypt would actually allow them to rage at the Pyramids.

On the other hand, both of Eminem’s compilation LPs—Curtain Call – The Hits and Curtain Call 2 combined—have only generated around 22 million cumulative streams, amounting to a gross total of nearly $8.6 million.

And even with those stats, Eminem isn’t even second on the Spotify streaming earnings list. In fact, the runner-up is none other than Ed Sheeran—how’s this for tragic irony? Bro literally performed a cover of your biggest hit (“Lose Yourself”) at his tour stop in your hometown and brought you onstage just to finesse you out of your fans.

At this rate, just wait until the earnings drop for The Weeknd’s HBO Max show, The Idol. The alleged dumpster fire of a production, that’s supposedly littered with aggressively perv-y sexual content, apparently attracted millions of viewers in total.

Aside from The Weeknd’s domination, greatest hits compilations appear to be the breadwinners this year. Queen follows Eminem on the list with $4 million in earnings for their recent hits compilation LP. The “drivers license” girl, aka Olivia Rodrigo, follows with a $3 million bag her Sour album generated.

How Robert Kraft Benefitted From Adidas’s Final Yeezy Sale

Billionaire Patriots owner Robert Kraft really has his fingers in all kinds of rap dealings, including helping Adidas to disperse the $1.3 billion worth of inventory the company was left with after severing ties with Kanye West.

The first batch went on sale in June and sold four million pairs of sneakers within 48 hours. Adidas offered 15 Yeezy models ranging from $70 to $260 for customers to cop—and most of them went fast. In total, the company raked in $565 million for the online sale.

The profits Adidas made in the recent sale of the sneakers will be donated to five organizations. Three of them will be Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism, the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.

Sources said there may be as much as $9 million going to ADL and The Floyd Institute. Page Six reports a “substantial financial seven-figure payment” will be given to Kraft’s organization.

Kraft has been trying to fight against hate in an effort to unify the Black and Jewish community for a while. He recently spoke on a panel with Meek Mill at the NAACP’s annual conference.

Kraft said he’s benefited from his relationship with the “Dreams and Nightmares” artist, saying it has helped him understand Blackness “more,” AllHipHop.com reported.

“I’ll never know what it’s like to walk into a room with Black skin,” Kraft said. “What I see happening now with hate, we have to stand together and stand proud and push back on this to keep the vibrancy of this country.”

Tiffany Haddish Reportedly Sued By Mother Of Her Child Abuse Accuser

Comedian Tiffany Haddish is being sued by a former friend who claims she and fellow comic Aries Spears defamed her.

The civil claim, filed by a woman named Trizah Morris, says the two called her and her children liars when they filed a similar lawsuit in 2022, alleging Haddish and Spears tried to have the then-children mimic sexual acts for a skit. Haddish and Spears deny all of the allegations.

The plaintiff never had a personal relationship with Spears but casually met him in 2014, although she and Haddish were friends from 2011 to 2020.

During their friendship, the lawsuit filed by the children and referenced in the new one, alleges Haddish “groomed and solicited” her minor children to “perform in, film, record, publish and distribute sexually inappropriate” material.

This, according to the first lawsuit, was all played out in comic skits produced by the two comedians.

Morris’s daughter accused Haddish of making the then-child simulate oral sex while her brother acted in another scene with a pedophile. They allege they were victims of child abuse.

The comedian’s lawyers said in 2022, when the lawsuit was filed, “Plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.”

“Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down,” he added. “Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action.”

Haddish and Spears had the lawsuit dismissed.

Morris now says after the lawsuit was dismissed, the two defamed her by saying she was trying to extort them. She also said that Spears called her a “lying b##ch.”

In her lawsuit, she asserted in February 2023, she reached out to Haddish and Spears’ lawyer, requesting a statement to refute the extortion allegations against her.

According to her claims, Tiffany responded to her via phone on March 7, 2023, stating, “The media isn’t talking about it right now. I have four movies coming out this year and I am going to be doing a lot of press. If it comes up, I’ll be sure to mention it.”

However, Trizah stated that on June 26, 2023, she was contacted by a reporter who had recently interviewed Tiffany. Allegedly, during the interview, Tiffany made disparaging remarks about her.

In response to the lawsuit, Haddish and Spears released a joint statement that reads:

“Trizah Morris did not file the lawsuit against Tiffany Haddish and/or Aries Spears that initiated the legal proceedings which promoted Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears to make false statements and allegations of extortion against Trizah Morris. Ms. Morris was not named as a party in the lawsuit, nor did Ms. Morris’ name appear on any court documents that led to the malicious” 

A$AP Bari Jumped In Harlem After Spotting Man Who Allegedly Stole His Chain

A$AP Bari, the creator of VLONE clothing line, was apparently caught slipping in the streets of Harlem. The designer was out in the hood when he approached the person who allegedly stole his chain.

Video posted on the internet shows that after Bari—dressed in red shorts and a white t-shirt–stepped to the one guy, the Young Lord got jumped.

As they square up and get ready to exchange blows, another man sneaks up behind the co-founder of the A$AP Mob and punches him in the back of his head. The confrontation erupts into a free-for-all, with yet another person jumping into the brawl and grabbing his shirt, causing him to stumble.

A woman colorfully commentates the rumble, calling for her young boy to knock Bari out, asserting Bari came into their hood with the “dumb s##t.”

Still, A$AP Bari doesn’t let his guard down and looks as if he’s ready to duke it out. Eventually, a woman and man step in, jumping in front of Bari and breaking up the fight.

While social media went crazy with the footage, Bari took to his Instagram Stories on his private account to explain what happened. According to the Harlemite, the backstory behind the fight deals with an altercation from a few years back.

“Everyday it’s something new with me from n####s hating on me to n####s [rapping] about me. NLE Choppa: Cardi B Ain’t Getting Enough Credit How She Been Snapping!

Over the last fifteen months, Cardi B has jumped on several singles by other artists that many listeners believe elevated the song. NLE Choppa thinks the New Yorker is still not receiving her proper flowers from the public.

Last year, Cardi B appeared on currently incarcerated rapper Kay Flock’s “Shake It.” The Grammy winner then collaborated with GloRilla (“Tomorrow 2”), Latto (“Put It on da Floor Again”), and FendiDa Rappa (“Point Me 2”). She also teamed up with her husband, Offset, for the recently released “Jealousy” track.

The former Love & Hip Hop: New York cast member did garner praise for her standout feature verses. However, NLE Choppa wanted his social media followers to know he holds Cardi in very high regard for her recent work.

“Cardi B ain’t getting enough credit [for] how she been snapping!!” posted NLE Choppa on Twitter (also known as X). The Memphis-raised entertainer’s July 31st tweet collected over 9,000 likes on the platform.

Charlamagne Tha God Praised Cardi B For Helping To Make Other Artists Bigger

The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God sparked conversation in June when he compared Cardi B’s power as a featured act to two of the most successful Hip Hop stars of all time. Charlamagne talked about the subject on the Its Up There Podcast.

“Cardi did for female rap what Jay-Z and Drake did. Whatever that next thing that’s out, Jay-Z would jump on it,” declared Charlamagne Tha God. He also added, “I think Cardi’s helping to make the artist big and she’s helping to make the music big.”

The Cardi B-assisted “Shake It” featuring Dougie B and Bory300 became Kay Flock’s highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 (No. 51). In addition, Cardi helped GloRilla (No. 9) and FendiDa Rapper (No. 82) score their biggest Hot 100 chart entries so far.

When “Put It on da Floor Again” peaked at No. 13 in June of this year, Latto scored her first Top 20 hit since “Big Energy” in 2021. That collaboration’s official visuals are still trending on YouTube. Offset and Cardi B’s “Jealousy” is currently YouTube’s No. 1 trending music video.

Saweetie Still Wants To Collaborate With Nicki Minaj Despite “Barbie World” Controversy

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s “Barbie World” currently sits at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. There was some controversy surrounding the Top 10 hit because of an unreleased song by Saweetie.

Apparently, Saweetie also sampled Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” for a track titled “Icy Girl, Icy World.” In June, songwriter Jason “Problem” Martin accused Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice of blatantly stealing Saweetie’s concept for the “Barbie World” single.

“There are no rules,” Saweetie stated in a recent interview with the Power 106 radio station. “It’s inspiration. I love to inspire, that’s my purpose here, and they look bomb as f### in the video. So it’s just like, ‘Okay, b####, I see you.’ Mine’s still coming out though.”

It seems the online discourse about “Barbie World” and “Icy Girl, Icy World” has not prevented Saweetie from still wanting to work with Nicki Minaj in the future. The University of Southern California alumna spoke to PopSugar about a few of her dream collaborations, including possible songs with Minaj, Solange Knowles, and Trina.

“I think that something special happens when two creative worlds collide. When we’re making music, we’re putting our soul and our spirit into it,” Saweetie told the Vox Media-owned outlet. “Women in a room together is just magical, so I think it’s great that we create magical moments that the world can witness.”

Throughout her career, Saweetie teamed up with other female rappers such as Latto, Trina, City Girls, Doja Cat, and Baby Tate. In addition to collaborating with Ice Spice on two 2023 tracks, Nicki Minaj’s catalog also contains songs with Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Coi Leray, and Sexyy Red.

Bun B Salutes Doechii For Reimagining “Int’l Players Anthem” As “Universal Swamp Anthem”

Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist Doechii took part in the “Pixel RePresents” series by reimagining UGK’s “Int’l Players Anthem (I Choose You)” as “Universal Swamp Anthem.” UGK member Bun B approves of the song.

Doechii’s “Universal Swamp Anthem” is her take on the classic 2007 single by UGK and OutKast. The Tampa native became the latest rapper to join Mass Appeal, Google Pixel, and Sony Music Entertainment’s Certified program.

Bun B shared a social media ad praising Doechii for her remake of the Underground Kingz track. He posted on Instagram, “Let’s return to the classic for #PixelRePresents. Salutes to @doechii for taking it back to ’07 with ‘Universal Swamp Anthem.’ She straight up snapped. Run that thang back y’all. #TeamPixel #HipHop50.”

The “Pixel RePresents” series celebrates Hip Hop culture’s 50th anniversary in 2023. In addition to Doechii, fellow rap stars Lola Brooke, Flo Milli, and BIA recreated respective tracks by Clipse, Too $hort, and Petey Pablo.

A collection of “Pixel RePresents” tunes titled Pix Tape EP will arrive this month. All of the tracks on the upcoming project, including Doechii’s “Universal Swamp Anthem” record, will include original artwork photographed on a Google Pixel 7 Pro.

Doechii is experiencing a breakout year in 2023. “What It Is (Block Boy)” featuring Kodak Black became the she/her/black b*tch EP creator’s first Billboard Hot 100 entry, peaking at No. 54. She also received the Rising Star Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music event.

Travis Scott Announces “Utopia” Live Show At Italy’s Circus Maximus Stadium

Houston-bred recording artist Travis Scott is currently one of the most talked about music acts in the world. His latest album, Utopia, became a trending topic since its release on July 28.

At one point, it looked as if Travis Scott would present a historic concert experience at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt before that show got canceled. However, the Texan is now headed to another site associated with an ancient empire.

Italy’s former Roman chariot-racing stadium, Circus Maximus, will host a Utopia live event on August 7. The site, which dates back to the 6th century BCE, can reportedly accommodate more than 200,000 people. Travis Scott made the announcement on his social media accounts on Tuesday, August 1.

“FIRST STOP UTOPIA LIVE AT CIRCUS MAXIMUS. WE OUT!!!!!” wrote Scott on Instagram. Circus Maximus is also the name of the chart-topper’s new film. He presented a trailer for his self-directed movie late last month.

The Utopia album is reportedly on pace to move around 500,000 units in its first week. That projected total should be enough to give Travis Scott his third No. 1 project on the Billboard 200 chart next week.

Travis Scott’s latest studio LP contains a star-studded lineup of guest features. Drake, Playboi Carti, Beyoncé, 21 Savage, The Weeknd, Young Thug, Westside Gunn, Kid Cudi, Bad Bunny, Future, SZA, and more acts appear on the album.

Utopia has received mostly positive reactions. It presently has a Metacritic.com score of 62/100 which signifies generally favorable reviews from professional music critics. Travis Scott also managed to gain an 8.6/10 user score on the review aggregator website.

Cardi B’s Thrown Microphone Put Up For Charity Auction

Rapper Cardi B could be facing legal trouble. The Bronx native threw a microphone at a concertgoer in Las Vegas. As law enforcement looks into the situation, the mic in question will also be auctioned off for a good cause.

Cardi B went viral on social media over the weekend. A video of her retaliating against someone in the audience at Drai’s Beach Club spread across the internet. According to the footage, a woman doused the performer with a cup of liquid before Cardi chucked the microphone into the crowd.

Local police reportedly opened a battery investigation against Cardi B. Conflicting reports suggest the “Jealousy” rhymer may have hit the wrong person with her mic toss. Additional video also showed Cardi asking fans to cool her off with water while performing at the event.

The Microphone’s Owner Hopes To Help Children & Veterans

According to TMZ, the Las Vegas production company The Wave decided to auction off the now-infamous Shure microphone from the Drai’s Beach Club concert. Proceeds from the eBay listing will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Friendship Circle Las Vegas. As of press time, the current bid for the item sits at $30,100.

“I was encouraged to sell the mic but decided I would try to do something good. 100% of the profit from the sale of this mic will be evenly split among 2 charities,” reads the eBay description. “The first charity is a local Las Vegas charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. The friendship circle is an organization that has teens and young adults volunteers helping children, teens, and other young adults with special needs.”

The seller continued, “The 2nd charity is Wounded Warrior Project. Wounded Warrior Project helps to bring independence back to our most severely wounded veterans. While I did not serve, my father served in the USAF and my son-in-law served in the USMC.”

Lil Baby Gives Out More Than $300,000 Worth Supplies In Annual “Back To School” Drive

Lil Baby has given back to the kids in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia in a big way, teaming up with Footlocker to help out local communities for his second annual Back to School drive ahead of the upcoming school year.  

In a video montage shared by the hometown hero on Instagram, Lil Baby can be seen getting hands on. He dished out sneakers and school supplies in multiple locations across the city, with the giveaways continuing until well into the night. He took pictures with kids and even manned the ice cream truck.

Lil Baby reportedly gave away more than $300k worth of sneakers and other supplies in partnership with Footlocker at the brand’s store in the West End Mall. He also gave out free haircuts at a local barber shop and put on other activities for the kids on site. The drive provided meals in partnership with Goodr, a local B Corp working to combat food waste and end hunger.  

Meanwhile, Lil Baby recently linked up with Dallas Mavericks budding star Jaden Hardy in Dallas. The “Go Hard” hitmaker was in town on July 29 for his It’s Only Us tour. He met up with Hardy, who gave him a rare No. 3 jersey. 

The 21-year-old point guard only wore the No.3 jersey in his rookie season before switching to No.1 earlier this summer. Hardy shared a picture of their meeting on Instagram while quoting Lil Baby’s “Double Down” lyrics. 

“Watch me shake the world and wake up everyone who been sleeping on me,” he penned in the caption.
