Hold on to your hats, folks, because we’ve got some Sexyy Red rumors! Rumor has it that our new “Pound Town” artist is currently passing up on $40,000 features. Can you believe it? It seems like Sexyy Red is playing the risky game—and people are talking.

So, here’s the scoop: Sexyy Red has been riding high on the wave of success lately, and some folks out there are shaking their heads, wondering if she’s making a huge mistake. We, the people, can’t help but wonder, “Did they really let this dude get rich?” It’s true, Sexxy Red is at the top of her game right now, but some folks think she should be playing it smart and wonder, “Shouldn’t she be stacking as much cash as she can while she’s hot?”

One insider told me, “She better stop acting like she made it already and start stacking those 40 racks while she can.” If I were her, I’d be taking all those features and raking in the dough. Nobody stays hot forever! ALSO: I am not her. So, there’s that.

Some insiders believe Sexyy Red might have a plan up her sleeve, playing the proverbial long game. Could it be she’s got an incoming Drake feature in the works? That would certainly explain why she’s turning down other offers left and right. As you know, Drake was seen with his duck lips all on her. She also said the following: “I did some lil s##t on his song, he sent me a beat, and I rapped for him or whatever. He was f####n with it, so we gon’ see if he drop that b###h.”

Somebody else tipped me, “See, she’s big popping right now, but mark my words, when the meme era is over, she’s gonna wish she took those offers. I’ll say this, regardless of being swept up by a major label, artists like her should be doing more features on their way up.

“Building your network and having a solid body of work is crucial for longevity. Who’s gonna bring you out on stage if you didn’t work with them when you had the chance?”

She’s clearly doing SOME features such as DaBaby and NLE Choppa. Maybe she’s more picky than we thought.

Drake would definitely change this even more. One thing’s for sure: Sexyy Red’s decision to turn down those $40,000 is crazy. Only time will tell if she made the right call.

SIGNS: Government Has Had Possession Of Alien Bodies & UFOs This Whole Time

Yes, you read that right—the government is in possession of intergalactic, extraterrestrial paraphernalia. No, we don’t know what the f### they have or what the hell it means for us now.

To make things even spookier and reek of MKULTRA-conspiracy potential is the fact that we only know this because a former high-ranking suit snitched on his fellow suits to even more suits during a Congressional hearing about UFOs.

Basically, what had happened was, three whistleblowers—a trio of retired Air Force officers—spoke to a House Oversight subcommittee during a hearing on UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs.) As I mentioned before, the snitchery was in full-blown effect. The Air Force retirees told the committee that not only was the government in possession of “nonhuman” biological matter, but they also have had a team dedicated to hiding UFO and UAP evidence for the longest.

And that’s not all! Of the testimony given by the three whistleblowers, that of David Grusch stood out as the most ominous. Grusch confirmed the existence of a Pentagon program called “multidecade” which has a primary goal of collecting and reconstructing crashed UAPs.

If I’m being real with you, this whole situation is giving SUS. But at the same time, Hip-Hop been knew about this s###! Outkast came out with ATLiens in 1996 and Lil Wayne has been telling us he’s not a human being since the 2010s. So now that the cat is out of the bag, maybe the government can get Kanye West or BNYX an extraterrestrial MPC so they can make some crazy beats. Otherwise, this ain’t it, WTF am I supposed to do with this?

LeBron James Gives Thanks For Support After Bronny James’ Cardiac Arrest

NBA superstar LeBron James expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support his family has received following the news of his son Bronny James’ cardiac arrest. 

The incident occurred during a workout at the Galen Center at USC on Monday, July 24, 2023.

“I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers. We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone [is] doing great, we have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. Will have more to say when we’re ready, but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us,” LeBron James posted on Twitter on Thursday (July 27).

Bronny James, 18, was practicing at the USC basketball facility in Los Angeles when he suffered a cardiac arrest just before 9:30 a.m. local time on Monday.

He lost consciousness during the cardiac event and received initial treatment from team medical staff before being transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

According to a statement by a James family spokesperson, Bronny is now out of the ICU and in stable condition. “Yesterday while practicing, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU,” the spokesperson said.

The James family has requested respect and privacy during this time. “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes,” the statement read.

The sports world quickly rallied around the James family, with messages of support pouring in from athletes and sports media members. Among those who shared messages was Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who went into cardiac arrest during an NFL game earlier this year.

Bronny James, who committed to USC in May 2023, is preparing for his first college basketball season. He is eligible for the 2024 NBA draft, with his father expressing his desire to play with his son in the league as his playing career reaches its final stages.

Battle Rap Blogger Jimz Boycotted For History Of Racist Comments

Many in the battle rap culture are calling out battle rapper-turned-blogger Jimz for his history of racist and derogatory comments toward Black people, calling him “Jimz Crow.”

Several of Jimz’s tweets dating back to 2013 are currently floating around the internet. After the culture took note of the “Protect Your Peace” rapper’s comments, they dug deeper to get the full scope of the things he said about Black women, men and children. At one point, he compared people of color to dogs and primates.

Jimz initially portrayed himself as a Black person when he used to rap, flagrantly using the n-word. However, he faced criticism for this behavior and told people he was Hispanic, drawing attention to the lack of respect for people of Latin ancestry receive in battle rap.

Nevertheless, a battle rap blogger named Rome DMV disputed his claim and alleged Jimz was not Puerto Rican but actually Greek, providing proof via old pictures of his family. The video of his claim has since been deleted.

With the new controversy, few are giving him the benefit of the doubt and calling for his immediate cancelation or boycott. Check out the outrage many have in the culture, regarding his comments.

Latto, Kelly Rowland, Lil Yachty, Omarion & More Star In Final Season Of ‘Grown-ish’

As Freeform prepares to bid farewell to its hit show “Grown-ish,” a spin-off of ABC’s award-winning sitcom “Black-ish,” it will continue to play in the Hip-Hop sphere by adding multiple rappers to the cast.

The show has previously welcomed Joey Badas$$ as well as made Diggy Simmons, the son of Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, a permanent cast member named “Doug.” Now in its sixth and final season, the show is set to introduce several fresh faces, including Latto.

According to Deadline, Big Latto will play “Sloane,” a wine company representative who stocks Doug’s lounge with exquisite wines. A clip of her debut on the series showcases the “Seven” singer’s acting chops.

Other artists who will grace the show’s small screen during the last season include Kelly Rowland, Omarion, Lil Yachty, NLE Choppa and Anderson .Paak.

Premiered in 2018, the cast has heavily relied on the star power of young Black Hollywood actors like Yara Shahidi, who’s the star of the show, and her “Black-ish” brother, Marcus Scribner.

Now, Yung Miami is back in the headlines for a tweet about her relationship status. On Wednesday night (July 26), she took to Twitter to express her current feelings about wanting an official romantic partner.

“I’m ready to be in a relationship & love again!” she wrote. “This was my last summer being outside!”

The Twitter declaration surprised some of her fans. The Quality Control Music recording artist has been publicly linked to Diddy for awhile now.

Last month, Diddy was seen hanging out with Florida native Rick Ross as the two music industry insiders admitted to cleaning Yung Miami’s car. Yung Miami and Diddy also showed up together at the 2023 Met Gala in May.

When La La Anthony asked Diddy on the Met Gala red carpet if he and Yung Miami were an official couple, the Love Records founder responded, “I don’t know what you’re asking. We definitely go together real bad… We don’t put titles on it.”

Unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) have become major topics of discussion in recent months. Even Post Malone has expressed interest in possible alien contact.

A U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee held a hearing on UAPs this week. Retired Maj. David Grusch, an ex-U.S. intelligence official, testified that the federal government is “absolutely” in possession of extraterrestrial materials.

In addition, Grusch claimed the government has been aware of “non-human” activity on Earth since the 1930s. The Pentagon has denied discovering extraterrestrial items or covering up reverse-engineering programs.

Zane Lowe Chats With Post Malone About ET Phenomenon

Post Malone recently sat down with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe to promote his upcoming Austin album due out July 28. The hour-long conversation included Malone discussing UFOs and the conspiracy theory associated with an alleged 1947 alien crash landing in Roswell, New Mexico.

“You look back at like Roswell, and they’re like, ‘We found a weather balloon.’ Even like [Battle: Los Angeles]… what [the movie] is based on,” Post Malone said. “Maybe it was the 40s or 50s, there was this object. And there’s pictures of us trying to blow it up. Even now, for them to be like, ‘Oh well, we didn’t really have anything. We didn’t see anything. There was nothing there.’ But now, even the pilots are like, ‘We definitely saw some s###. There’s definitely something.'”

Post Malone then spoke about visiting the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. The property is famous for supposedly experiencing paranormal and UFO-related activities. He also shared his thoughts on the potential of knowing if there is actual extraterrestrial life.

“I am sure if you ask somebody two questions—if you’re like, ‘Do you wanna know what happens after you die?” he asked. “Or do you wanna know if alien exists?’ What happens after you die, I’d be like, ‘No not really because that’s gonna happen.'”

Yo Gotti Announces ‘Gangsta Grillz’ Mixtape ‘I Showed U So’ With DJ Drama

DJ Drama has connected with another Hip-Hop artist to present a Gangsta Grillz mixtape. For his latest full-length effort, Drama joined forces with Collective Music Group founder, Yo Gotti.

The forthcoming I Showed U So body of work from Yo Gotti and DJ Drama is expected to arrive on August 4. Yo Gotti released a Gangsta Grillz-branded tape titled I Told U So in 2006.

Gotti’s Gangsta Grillz sequel will be the Memphis rapper’s first solo music release since February 2022. That year’s CM10: Free Game studio LP peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Throughout his three-decade career, Yo Gotti scored five Top 10 projects. 2013’s I Am, 2016’s The Art of Hustle, 2017’s I Still Am and 2020’s Untrapped also reached the Top 10 region of the Billboard 200.

Alicia Keys Recalls Jay-Z Nearly Finding Someone Else For “Empire State Of Mind” Feature

“Empire State Of Mind” is arguably the biggest commercial record in Jay-Z’s catalog. The Alicia Keys-assisted single spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the first lead Number One for Jay.

Alicia Keys recently spoke with Audacy’s Mix 94.7 in Austin, Texas. During the interview, the R&B legend recalled how difficult it was for Jay-Z to lock her in for the “Empire State Of Mind” appearance. Hov almost chose another artist to sing the hook and bridge.

“He had this idea, he wanted to build it out. He wanted to make it the New York energy,” Alicia Keys explained. “The crazy part of that story that I just love is that he actually couldn’t get in touch with me because you go through the different channels, management, all these different places.”

Keys continued, “He couldn’t really get movement on it. And so at one point, he was like, ‘Alright, I might have to move on, I can’t connect with her. I guess I have to do it with somebody else.’ Could you imagine if that ended up happening? I think about it all the time.”

Songwriters Angela Hunte and Jane’t Sewell-Ulepic penned the original version of “Empire State Of Mind” before Jay-Z added his own lyrics to the track. Apparently, Jay first considered the Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige as the featured vocalist instead of Alicia Keys.

Once the collaboration was finalized, “Empire State of Mind” became a New York City anthem. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed the collaboration at the 2009 World Series at Yankees Stadium in the Bronx. They also ran through the hit at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards which included the infamous moment of Lil Mama crashing the stage.

“Empire State of Mind” won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song at the 53rd Grammy Awards in 2011. The RIAA certified The Blueprint 3 single as 9x-Platinum. Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down” also earned a Platinum plaque.

Bow Wow Responds To Allegations Of Scamming Child Rapper

Shad “Bow Wow” Moss wants the world to know he has not swindled a 10-year-old girl. The rapper/actor took to social media to give his side of the story.

A man named Steven Roberson claimed he paid Bow Wow $3000 via Cash App to provide a verse for his daughter’s “Daddy’s Girl” song and they never received the feature. Roberson later filed a lawsuit against Moss.

“Based on the foregoing and as a direct consequence of Defendant’s actions and failures, Plaintiff’s total damages, including costs and attorney’s fees, amount to $15,000.00,” read the court documents from Steven Roberson.

Bow Wow has now responded to the news of the pending legal drama. According to the 36-year-old “Let Me Hold You” performer, he is a victim of stolen identity in the situation.

“D pimpin done got yall again huh? 🤣 I don’t conduct business on apps. I do NOT use or have Cash App. So if you ain’t call management and send a wire… you def was NOT dealing [with] me,” tweeted Bow Wow.

The Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta star continued, “Be careful who yall send y’all’s money to online. This happens [every day] to folks. This [is] the 3rd time somebody acting like me catfishing people.”

Bow Wow began his own career as a child rapper. His debut album, 2000’s Beware of Dog, earned a 2x-Platinum plaque from the RIAA. He also released the Gold-certified Face Off collaborative project with R&B singer Omarion.

Travis Scott Vows “Egypt At The Pyramids Will Happen” At Later Date, Despite Cancelation

Travis Scott has promised fans that his concert at the Pyramids of Giza will go ahead at a later date despite Live Nation canceling the event a week after the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate revoked the show’s license over concerns about the rapper engaging in “peculiar rituals.” 

“Egypt at the pyramids will happen,” the Utopia creator tweeted Wednesday (July 26). “But due to demand and detail logistics They just need a bit a time to set lay on lands. I will keep u posted on a date which will be soon love you alllll.” 

His tweet came hours after the promoter officially canceled the show citing “production issues.” Despite the rapper’s claims, Live Nation did not say the event initially slated for July 28 was postponed. Instead, they offered refunds to all ticket holders.  

The show first appeared in jeopardy when the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate revoked the license for the concert earlier this month (July 18). The syndicate raised concerns about Travis Scott participating in “peculiar rituals,” which allegedly threatened Egypt’s “authentic societal values and traditions.”  

At the time, Live Nation denied reports that the show was canceled. However the syndicate claimed the concert would fall foul of Egyptian law.  

Although Travis Scott did not say when the concert at the Pyramids would go ahead, he did tease another four similar shows.  

“But in good news I had 4 more of these type of experiences in other places,” he announced. “COORDINATES SOON REACH.” 

Drake Announces New Album “For All The Dogs” Drops In Two Weeks

Drake gave concert-goers at the It’s All a Blur Tour stop in NYC the news they’ve been waiting for, confirming his upcoming album is due in just two weeks. 

The Hip-Hop icon snuck in the surprise announcement at the end of his show Wednesday night (Jul 26.) As Drake said farewell to his fans, he dished out some advice. 

“Make some new friends,” he told the audience. “If you drink, drink some liquor, if you smoke, smoke some weed.” 

Before making his new album announcement, Drake also repeated the advice his father recently dished out to a fan. “And if you like somebody, like my dad says, ‘Keep f######,” he quipped.  

Dennis Graham made headlines earlier this week after offering some words of wisdom to a fan. The man was gathered with others waiting outside his son’s hotel.  

When the fan asked, “Do you think that I could have a child one day,” Graham responded, “Keep f######.”

After making the reference to his father, Drake teased his upcoming album. He declared, “New York I will be back soon. I have an album dropping for you in like two weeks.” 

Drake first teased his new album For All The Dogs last month with the release of his book: “Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness.”  

Then, on July 5, he offered up a few more hints about the project on the opening night of his tour. After saying he’s heard fans’ cries for “old Drake” to make a comeback, Drizzy told the Chicago crowd, “I know it’s summertime I got to give you s###,” before promising to drop the project “real soon.”    

While Drake did not give an exact date for his new album, his announcement puts the expected arrival on August 4 or 11.

The couple made headlines last month when the “Clout” hitmaker accused his wife of cheating on him. Despite the online drama that ensued, they appeared to patch things up and move forward. However, that didn’t stop fans from accusing Offset and Cardi B of faking the scandal as a “stunt” to push their upcoming single. 

The Grammy Award winner revealed she was on the track after sharing the single’s cover art on Wednesday (July 26). It features an image of Cardi pushing her husband in the face while walking away from him.

Cardi B Denies Faking Drama With Offset

When an Instagram user responded, “we said it was a stunt they pulled with their relationship,” Cardi B pushed back. She denied faking any relationship drama and called out blogger Tasha K for making up lies about the couple.  

“It wasn’t no STUNT ..Tasha K made some ish up and yall was laughing about it and happy ass hell about it,” Cardi B replied. “Now that we putting it in the music is a stunt … Naaa baby be mad at the one who started trolling wit it.”

Cardi followed up on Twitter, adding, “THEY COOCHIE WAS SO WET WHEN THE LIE WAS GOING AROUND NOW it’s a different narrative when we put it in the music ….OOOO IM POPPIN IT ON THIS SONG !!!!” 

Meanwhile, Cardi B remains determined to make Tasha K pay for losing a defamation lawsuit last year. She won a $4 million judgment after suing the blogger for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress in 2019. Now Cardi is reportedly seeking access to Tasha K’s financial records ahead of an upcoming hearing on August 9.  

Blueface Responds After Chrisean Rock Claims She “Needed” To Be Drunk Their Entire Relationship

Blueface denied Chrisean Rock’s claim that she “needed” to be drunk while they were together and accused the reality TV starlet of drinking while she’s pregnant. 

Chrisean took to Twitter Wednesday (July 26) to say that she can’t be around Blueface now that she’s pregnant because she can no longer drink. 

“I was drunk my whole time with him,” she stated, adding, “it wasn’t because I love to drink it was something I needed.” 

She continued, “Then wen all of sudden I couldn’t drink no more I honestly couldn’t be around no more.”  

However, Blueface rejected her claims claiming that she drinks because she likes alcohol and will be back on the bottle once the baby is born.  

“I didn’t raise this young lady,” Blueface said in the Hollywood Unlocked comments section. “She comes from a family that has addiction to substance abuse.” 

According to the “Thotiana” hitmaker, “she drank because she liked the way it made her feel.” He denied having anything to do with Chrisean “abusing that feeling,” stating she’s “immature” and “lacking lots of accountability on her end.” 

Blueface rounded off his response by claiming Chrisean Rock has been “asking for drinks pregnant without my presence.” He concluded, “when the baby is born she will be drunk all over again.”

While Chrisean Rock has since deleted her post, tweeting instead about her growing stomach, Blueface’s mother responded.  

“You was a junky when we met you,” she stated. “I was just saying this morning we about to be a happy family one day because you bringing our baby boy and you on this.” 

MC Shan Calls Out Nas Over Exclusion from Hip Hop 50 Celebrations!

MC Shan, the Juice Crew legend, took to Instagram to vent his frustrations at Nas for leaving him out of the coveted Hip-Hop 50 celebrations organized throughout the first half of 2023. The Queensbridge native didn’t mince his words when addressing his fellow QB rep.

“Let me tell you something, my n#gga,” MC Shan said. “If you’re doing 50th anniversary shows and you ain’t holla at ya mans, don’t never mention my muthaf##kin’ name again. Don’t put my name in ya mouth about nothing, n#gga.”

Clearly upset, MC Shan emphasized that he doesn’t care about how much money Nas has, as he values loyalty above all else. “I could give a f##k how much money a n#gga got,” he declared. “N#gga, you put your pants on one leg at a time like men n#gga. I ain’t glorified by the sh#t you have.”

While it remains uncertain which specific shows Shan was referring to, Nas has been on tour with Wu-Tang Clan and headlined Madison Square Garden in February. He really has not been involved in a bunch of HipHop50 stuff. Mass Appeal is a company that has agency over that term and has marketed it as such. But that is not the same as Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary. To my understanding, Nas has a stake in Mass Appeal Records. They are the ones pushing HipHop50 celebrations, concerts, documentaries, musical releases, and other stuff.

Nas has shown love to his 57-year-old predecessor in the past. It should be noted that Shan has since removed the post, but you know the internet…

Beyonce’s Mom Tina Knowles Files for Divorce From Actor Richard Lawson

Tina Knowles, the renowned fashion designer and mother of megastar Beyoncé, has taken a decisive step to end her second marriage with actor Richard Lawson. After eight years of union, Tina officially filed for divorce.

Tina cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, setting the date of separation as the preceding Tuesday. The couple tied the knot back in April 2015, but their journey together did not include having children of their own, as Tina’s two beloved daughters, Beyoncé and Solange, were from her first marriage with Mathew Knowles.

In docs obtained by TMZ, Tina seeks to terminate the court’s ability to grant spousal support to either her or Richard, indicating an amicable approach to the dissolution of their marriage. Alongside this move, Tina has reverted her name back to Celestine Knowles.

There was no immediate comment from reps for Beyoncé, Tina, or Richard Lawson.

Jeezy Says Music Career Saved Him From Life Or Death Situation

Jeezy reflected on the desperation he felt to make it as a rapper in an interview with Yahoo News. The multi-platinum selling artist discussed the dire circumstances he faced if he did not make it in the music industry.

“I just knew that there wasn’t no other way if I didn’t figure it out,” Jeezy said. “I was going to end up in prison or probably dead like the rest of my friends.”

He added, “I was writing my music as if I wasn’t gonna be there anymore. So, I was like, ‘This better be the best I ever said.’ And so that’s what Trap or Die and Thug Motivation was. Because I was preparing myself for the worst and when it popped, I understood. And now I was like, ‘OK, I gotta sustain this.’ So, I just carried that same energy into all my next projects.”

Jeezy revisited stories from his childhood and music career in the new memoir Adversity for Sale: Ya Gotta Believe. He wrote about growing up as a military brat, surviving life in the trap game and finding his lane in Hip-Hop.

Adversity for Sale is scheduled to drop on August 8. Jeezy narrated the audiobook version of the memoir, which is available for pre-order.
