T.I.’s HaHa Mafia Roasts Comedy Legend Richard Pryor & Also Give Their Top 5 DOA Comedians

What did Richard Pryor do to The HaHa Mafia?

AHH’s Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur asked T.I.’s maverick comedy team of Kelly KDub, Navv Greene, Jayski about their favorite comedians and none of them had the iconic comic legend Richard Pryor in their lists. So,

They had plenty of comedians of note like Jamie Foxx, Redd Foxxx, Eddie Murphy, and others on their lists but for some reason Richard Pryor received scorn, especially from Tip’s boy KDub. “Richard Pryor ain’t sh#t,” he says without hesitation. “I saw Live On Sunset and it p##### me off…Richard ain’t talking about nothing.” Jigsaw tries to justify why Pryor should be considered for their Top 5 lists, but it was for nothing. (For the record, Jayski whispered “I like Richard Pryor.”)

In the 60s, 70s and 80s Richard Pryor did not have many peers in comedy and Hollywood and he was the first Black actor to make a million dollars from a single movie (“Stir Crazy” in 1980). He starred in stand-specials that became films and albums like Richard Pryor: Live & Smokin’ (1971), That Ni##er’s Crazy (1974), …Is It Something I Said? (1975), Bicentennial Ni##er (1976), Richard Pryor: Live in Concert (1979), Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip (1982) and others. As an actor, he starred in a number of comedies like “Harlem Nights,” which put him side-by-side with the aforementioned Redd Foxxx and Eddie Murphy. Both Rolling Stone and Comedy Central listed Pryor as the Number 1 comedian of all time. Even Jerry Seinfeld said Pryor was the “Picasso” of comedy. Oh well.

Check out who The HaHa Mafia does love and explain why King Richard is not included at all.

The HaHa Mafia is currently on tour all over the place. Google and catch them at city near you.

Graffiti Artist Talks Creating Takeoff Mural In Atlanta [VIDEO]

The city of Atlanta continues to mourn the passing of hometown rap star Kirsnick “Takeoff” Ball.

Fans of Takeoff also expressed condolences for the Migos member by visiting a new mural on the Beltline in Old Fourth Ward. WSB-TV spoke to the artist who created the wall painting.

“Honestly, it’s something for the city,” Armondo Monoletti told the ABC affiliate. “I knew immediately as soon as it happened that I need to go put something up, so people can come and pay their respects.”

In addition, Monoletti passed out fifty free signed prints of the Takeoff drawing for anyone in the area at the time. He told WSB-TV’s Larry Spruill, “I just wanted something for everybody to have a piece of him.”

Takeoff lost his life after being shot outside the 810 Billiards & Bowling alley in Houston, Texas. The Hip Hop world is still reacting to the 28-year-old entertainer’s unexpected death.

Fellow Migos members Quavo and Offset recently shared heartfelt messages about their deceased musical partner and family member. Offset’s wife, Cardi B, also posted a tribute to her “MotorSport” collaborator.

Several projects featuring Takeoff re-entered the Billboard 200 chart after the rhymer was killed on November 1. Only Built for Infinity Links, the joint project by Takeoff and Quavo, currently sits at #11 on the weekly rankings.

A “Celebration of Life” ceremony for Kirsnick “Takeoff” Ball took place at the State Farm Arena on November 11. Celebrities such as Quavo, Offset, Cardi B, Drake, Chlöe Bailey, and Justin Bieber attended the memorial service in Atlanta.

Former ‘Empire’ Star Bryshere Gray Arrested Again

Bryshere “Yazz” Gray is back behind bars.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officials apprehended Bryshere Gray in Maricopa, Arizona for probation violation. A woman reportedly called the police on Gray last week.

The unnamed woman accused Gray of throwing a box of food at her and pulling her hair. Since Gray apparently failed to inform his probation officer about the incident, a judge signed a warrant for his arrest.

Bryshere Gray’s personal life has been marred by run-ins with the law. In 2020, he was arrested in Goodyear, Arizona following an alleged domestic violence accusation by his wife. Gray reportedly had a standoff with a SWAT team and crisis negotiators at the time.

“The woman had flagged down a citizen for help moments earlier at another nearby gas station stating that she had been assaulted at her Goodyear home for the last several hours by her husband,” read a police report. “The victim told police her husband was Bryshere Gray, an actor on the TV series Empire.”

Bryshere Gray eventually pled guilty to felony aggravated assault in the Goodyear case. The plea agreement called for the Philadelphia native to serve 10 days in county jail and 3 years probation. His latest legal situation in Maricopa may have violated those terms.

Best known for his role as Hakeem Lyon in the Fox musical drama television series Empire, Bryshere Gray also starred in The New Edition Story and Canal Street. In addition, he recorded music for the Empire soundtracks under the stage name Yazz as well.

Fat Joe On Takeoff: He’s Like The Run-DMC Of This Time

A gunman killed Kirsnick Khari Ball on November 1, 2022. The Georgia-raised musician, better known as Takeoff, was just 28 years old.

Members of the Hip Hop community offered their thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the late Migos rapper’s friends and family. A “Celebration of Life” ceremony for Takeoff took place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

On this week’s episode of Stephen A. Smith’s Cadence13 podcast Know Mercy, New York City-bred emcee Fat Joe spoke about Hip Hop artists who have lost their lives to violence. He also mentioned Takeoff.

“We had Rest In Peace Biggie, Rest In Peace Jam Master Jay, Tupac. But they were spaced out. It’s like these kids are getting killed every other week. And Takeoff, who recently got killed, Rest In Peace,” said Fat Joe.

On Takeoff, the author of The Book of Jose memoir added, “He’s like the Run-DMC of this time.” Hip Hop historians often label Run-DMC as one of the most influential rap groups of all time. The trio helped take Hip Hop culture mainstream in the 1980s.

Fat Joe Reflects On How Takeoff’s Death Affects His Loved Ones

“When I look at a young brother like him die, I look at a hundred families that could have ate from the jobs he give them. His family, who’s suffering forever. And I pray for all these kids,” stated Fat Joe on Know Mercy.

The “What’s Luv?” hitmaker continued, “Steve, that’s why I got this book, The Book of Jose, with total transparency. So you could learn, you could have sold drugs, you could have been betrayed, you could have been whatever, but you could fight through it.”

Prior to his passing, Takeoff released his only solo studio album, The Last Rocket, in 2018. The two-time Grammy nominee also contributed to Migos’ catalog of projects which includes the Billboard 200 chart-topping Culture in 2017 and Culture II in 2018. Takeoff and Quavo’s Only Built for Infinity Links also dropped in October 2022.

Fat Joe’s discography consists of 1998’s Don Cartagena, 2001’s Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.), 2010’s The Darkside Vol. 1, and other solo albums. He also collaborated with Remy Ma for Plata O Plomo in 2017 and Dre for Family Ties in 2019.

Summer Walker Reacts To Getting Snubbed By The Grammys

Many R&B fans would consider Summer Walker to be one of the leading stars of the genre at the moment.

The Atlanta native received critical praise for her 2021 album Still Over It. It seems members of the Recording Academy were not as high on Walker’s latest body of work.

Yesterday, the Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards which take place on February 5, 2023. However, Summer Walker did not pick up a single nomination.

Walker’s 2023 shutout comes after the Recording Academy also chose not to recognize her for 2019’s Over It. The Love Renaissance (LVRN) representative responded to the snub on her Instagram Story.

“As for the Grammys for a [second] time, the math is literally not matching,” wrote Walker. “I was [going to] post some numbers but it’s ok, at least the streets [f###] with me. Y’all always pack out every show and support every time I drop so thanks for the love I do receive.”

Summer Walker Gets Backing From Her Label Boss

LVRN co-founder Justice Baiden also shared his thoughts about the Grammys ignoring Summer Walker this year. He took to social media to compare the situation to crime by tweeting, “SUMMER WALKER NOT GETTING A GRAMMY NOM IS ACTUALLY TREASON – SMFH.”

Baiden also added, “I WAS COOL WHEN WE GOT SNUBBED FOR OVER IT BUT THEN STILL OVER IT SMASHED EVERY RECORD AFFECTED CULTURE AND WAS A MASTERCLASS ON SONGWRITING – GRAMMYS NOT ACKNOWLEDGING SUMMER WALKER REALLY MAKES ME LOSE MY COMPLETE FAITH IN THAT ENTITY AS A WHOLE – TIME TO MOVE ON I FEAR.”

Still Over It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 166,000 first-week units. Summer Walker’s sophomore studio LP became the first No. 1 R&B album by a female artist since Beyoncé’s Lemonade in 2016.

The Still Over It single “No Love” with fellow R&B singer SZA peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. An extended version of the track also featured Hip Hop superstar Cardi B. Plus, Still Over It includes contributions by JT, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Pharrell Williams, Omarion, and Ciara.

Isaac Hayes Estate Considers Legal Action Against Donald Trump Campaign

Donald Trump, the twice-impeached former President of the United States, will seek to win back the White House in 2024.

“In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States,” said Trump during an official gathering at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

Apparently, the Donald Trump campaign played Soul duo Sam & Dave’s “Hold On, I’m Coming” at the political event on Tuesday. Music legend Isaac Hayes co-wrote the 1966 song.

The Estate of Isaac Hayes reacted to Trump’s use of “Hold On, I’m Coming” as part of the presidential announcement. The verified @isaachayes Twitter account addressed the matter last night.

Isaac Hayes’s Family Does Not Want Donald Trump Associated With The Late Musician

“Once again, The estate and family of Isaac Hayes DID NOT approve the use of ‘Hold on I’m Coming’ by Sam & Dave by Donald Trump at his 2024 Presidential announcement tonight. We are exploring multiple legal options to stop this unauthorized use,” read the tweet by @isaachayes.

The Estate continued, “Stopping a politician from using your music is not always an easy task, but we are dedicated to making sure that Donald Trump does not continue to use ‘Hold on I’m Coming’ written by Isaac Hayes [and] David Porter in further rallies and public appearances.”

Sam & Dave’s “Hold On, I’m Coming” became a Top 40 hit for Stax Records. The Jim Stewart-produced single also made it into the Top 5 of Billboard‘s Hot R&B chart. The RIAA certified the record as Gold in July 1995.

The Hayes Estate Called Out Trump Earlier This Year Too

This is not the first time The Estate of Isaac Hayes responded to Donald Trump adopting “Hold On, I’m Coming” as the theme music for one of his speeches. Back in May, the Estate took issue with the song playing at an NRA convention.

“The estate and family of Isaac Hayes DID NOT approve and would NEVER approve the use of ‘Hold on I’m Coming’ by Sam & Dave by Donald Trump at this weekend’s @NRA convention. Our condolences go out to the victims and families of #Uvalde and mass shooting victims everywhere,” tweeted the @isaachayes account.

Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016 by defeating Senator Hillary Clinton in the Electoral College vote. He failed to win reelection in 2020. Then-Vice President Joe Biden defeated Trump in both the Electoral College vote and the popular vote. Many Republicans blame Trump for the party being unable to materialize the “Red Wave” for the 2022 mid-term election.

Nicki Minaj Snubbed By Grammys: Social Media Reacts

Nicki Minaj missed out on a Grammy Award nomination a month after criticizing the Academy over their categorization of “Super Freaky Girl.”

When the Recording Academy announced the nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards on Tuesday (Nov. 15) the Barbz, the NYC rapper’s loyal fanbase, was looking for a mention of their fave. However, neither of Nicki Minaj’s#### singles, “Super Freaky Girl,” nor its predecessor, “Do We Have a Problem,” made the cut.

While Nicki Minaj has received 10 Grammy nominations throughout her career, she is yet to win an award.

Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj broke records and made history with her two singles. With “Super Freaky Girl,” she became the first woman to have a solo rap track debut at No. 1 since Lauryn Hill accomplished the feat with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998.

Nicki Minaj became only the seventh woman in history and the only female rapper to earn 20 Top. 10 hits when “Do We Have A Problem?” debuted at No. 2 on the Hot 100.

In October, Nicki Minaj called out the Grammys after “Super Freaky Girl” was moved into the pop song category for consideration. Nonetheless, the song failed to secure a nomination, and while Nicki has remained silent, some of her peers came to her defense.

The Game Responds To Nicki Minaj Grammys Snub

The Game responded to the hashtag “No Grammy For Granny” trending. He called the snub “funny,” before adding that Nicki Minaj is “the reason the female rap game of this era is thriving.”

Maliibu Miitch, who appeared on the “Super Freaky Girl: Queen Mix,” spoke up for Nicki and Summer Walker. She claims they didn’t get the nod because “they don’t act like ya scary ass favs!” She also added, “stop muting black women for accolades we should be able to speak our minds through our music & discussions.”

The Barbz also shared their collective outrage, with many saying Nicki doesn’t need a Grammy to validate her status. Check out some of their reactions below.

However, others claimed Nicki’s attitude caused her to miss out on the Grammy nod, prompting the aforementioned hashtag.

Chrisean Rock Reacts To Blueface Arrest: “Everybody Keeps Saying It’s A Sign To Leave”

Chrisean Rock is letting it be known she is standing by her man after Blueface was arrested for felony attempted murder

The “Thotiana” rapper was with his girlfriend in Las Vegas on Tuesday (Nov. 15) when he was apprehended in an undercover operation. A number of officers tackled the rapper to the ground before arresting him.

Blueface was charged with felony attempted murder with the use of a deadly firearm or tear gas and discharging a gun into a house, building, vehicle or craft.

Chrisean Rock immediately began trending on Twitter, with many fans urging her to take this as a sign to end her toxic relationship with Blueface.

“Chrisean was never going to leave Blueface the universe had to step in,” wrote one.

While another shared, “Blueface ass alone and yet she’s blatantly ignoring it. I’m just going to watch how the universe finna kick her ass for this.”

Chrisean Rocks Responds To Blueface Arrest

It appears the reality TV starlet is aware of the reaction and took to her Instagram Story to respond.

“Stop playing with me. Everybody keeps saying it’s a sign to leave. What the f### is you talking about bro?” she began.

Chrisean went on to say Blueface “never left me when I went in,” before adding, “I’m going to court tomorrow. That’s all that matters.”

Despite the hefty felony charges, Chrisean is optimistic and believes Blueface is coming home. She also urged viewers to tune in to their Zeus Network docuseries. “I’m riding I’m sliding,” Chrisean added, telling fans not to be surprised if she pops up with another Blueface tattoo.

Later on Twitter, Chrisean Rock shared a video of herself and Blueface leaving their hotel just hours before his arrest.

The “Vibe” rapper apparently hasn’t lost her sense of humor, retweeting a post making light of the situation.

Custody Battle Over Nipsey Hussle’s Child Heads To Court Mediation

Nipsey Hussle’s family hopes to reach an agreement with his ex-girlfriend Tanisha Foster regarding the custody of his daughter Emani.

According to Radar Online, Nipsey Hussle’s family arranged for mediation in an effort to work out a settlement with Foster. The late rapper’s brother, sister and mother will meet with Foster about the custody of Emani on November 30.

“Mediation may result in a settlement of the matter that is the subject of the above-referenced case and of any and all interested persons’ and parties’ interests therein,” Nipsey Hussle’s family said in a court filing. “Settlement of the matter may result in an agreement for the distribution of assets of the Estate of Ermias Asghedom, however those interests may be held. Settlement of the matter may also result in an award of attorney’s fees to one or more parties.”

Foster originally agreed to Nipsey Hussle’s family obtaining guardianship of her daughter Emani. But earlier this year, she sought to dissolve the guardianship and reclaim custody.

“There are no circumstances or events in my life that would disqualify me for regaining my exclusive role as Emani’s parent,” Foster argued. “There is no longer any need for guardianship. Emani routinely asks me when are she and I going to be able to live together. She longs to be with me as her mother. I am begging the court to terminate the existing guardianship.”

Nipsey Hussle’s family wants to maintain guardianship of Emani due to concerns about her mother. They mentioned Foster’s struggles with addiction and her losing other children following an investigation by the Department of Children and Family Services.

If Nipsey Hussle’s family and Foster cannot reach a settlement, the custody battle will proceed to a court hearing in January.

Blueface Charged With Attempted Murder

Rapper Blueface has been arrested for attempted murder.

The rapper was arrested and handcuffed on Tuesday in Las Vegas in a situation where he was been followed by undercover officers.

Apparently, it took about six or eight officers to apprehend him. And the undercover operation climaxed outside of Lo Lo’s Chicken and Waffles in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.

His sometime-girlfriend Chrisean Rock was present at the time of the arrest.

At press time, Blueface was charged with felony attempted murder with the use of a deadly firearm or tear gas and discharging a gun into a house, building, vehicle or craft.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on October 8.

The Crip rapper also has an outstanding warrant from another incident in Los Angeles. The rapper allegedly beat down a nightclub bouncer on camera.

There are felony arrest warrant out for Blueface and two others that beat up a man in September.

He was reportedly charged with felony assault and robbery, because the bouncer was robbed of a chain.

EXCLUSIVE: D.A. Working Hard To Keep Young Thug Locked Up

Prosecutors want a judge to deny Young Thug’s latest effort to seek bond despite a potential delay to his trial.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis responded to Young Thug’s objection to continuance and demand for bond in the YSL RICO case. The D.A. reiterated her reasons for delaying the trial and keeping Young Thug a.k.a. Jeffery Williams in jail.

“Williams has not shown a change in circumstances that authorizes a bond to be granted,” Willis contended. “This Court should DENY Williams’ motion for bond. Further, for the reasons previously articulated by the State in its motion for continuance, and for reasons that will be asserted at the motion for continuance, this Court should GRANT the State’s motion for continuance.”

Prosecutors sought to delay Young Thug’s trial because some of his co-defendants don’t have representation. The trial was initially scheduled to begin on January 9, 2023. The D.A. asked the court to push it back to March 27, 2023.

Willis raised concerns about structural errors if the unrepresented co-defendants go to trial in January. The D.A. also claimed the delay wouldn’t go against Young Thug’s request for a speedy trial.

“As alleged in the State’s previous motion, as of October 6, 2022 – roughly three months prior to the trial date – multiple co-defendants remained unrepresented,” Willis explained. “Since that time, several defendants have retained represented. But at least one defendant remains unrepresented, and motions to disqualify are pending on counsel for three other defendants. Additionally, as of November 14, 2022, counsel for Defendant McMullen moved to withdraw, so he may also be unrepresented if this Court grants his counsel’s motion.”

Young Thug believed a delay in the case opened the door for him to seek bond again. But Willis advised the court to reject his renewed request for bond based on the judge’s previous rulings.

“This Court denied bond, finding that Williams (1) poses a significant risk of fleeing from the jurisdiction of the Court or failing to appear in court when required; (2) poses a significant threat or danger to any person, the community, or to any property in the community; (3) poses a significant risk of committing a felony pending trial; and (4) poses a significant risk of intimidating witnesses or otherwise obstructing the administration of justice,” the D.A. noted.

Judge Ural Glanville denied bond to Young Thug on three occasions. The Atlanta-bred rapper has remained in jail since his arrest in May.

Young Thug and other YSL members were indicted on RICO charges. They await the judge’s ruling to find out when their trial will start.

Offset Says His Heart Is Shattered Following Takeoff’s Death

Offset made his first public statement about the death of Takeoff on Tuesday (November 15).

The Migos member mourned the loss of his longtime collaborator in an Instagram post. Offset detailed the grief he’s experienced since Takeoff’s death and reflected on their relationship.

“The pain you have left me with is unbearable,” Offset wrote. “My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare.”

He continued, “Every time you would see me, you didn’t give me a dap, you gave me a hug. I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh one last time. Smoke one one last time. Perform one last time. I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.”

Offset’s heartfelt post included a few photos and videos of himself with Takeoff. The tribute was posted a few days after Quavo broke his silence with a similar message regarding Takeoff’s death.

Peter Gunz & His Exes Downplay Threesome Dynamic

The love triangle between Peter Gunz, Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace got more complicated due to their involvement in a new dating show.

BET’s After Happily Ever After features former couples working together to help their exes find love. Peter Gunz participated in the show with two exes after their drama played out on VH1’s Love and Hip Hop.

Peter Gunz and his exes spoke about their “crazy dynamic” in an interview with Heavy. After Happily Ever After presented the trio with an opportunity to display the growth in their relationship.

“People always think that we come as a threesome and we don’t,” Tara Wallace told Heavy. “We [are] three individual super-talented people in our own respects. I think it’s always sometimes like, ‘Should we work together? Will people continue to think we haven’t grown?’ But [After Happily Ever After] was still very different. The concept was different.”

Peter Gunz called After Happily Ever After the “realest show” he’s ever done. But Amina Buddafly noted it was “very invasive.”

“Living together is one big thing that was different from most of the shows we’ve done in the past,” she said. “It was just filmed 24/7, so cameras were always on, even at night when we were sleeping. We really couldn’t hide anywhere.”

Tara Wallace also admitted the show’s concept made it challenging to film. Peter Gunz wasn’t shy about how he felt watching an ex date someone else.

“I was definitely hating and jealous,” he said.

After Happily Ever After premiered in October. The show airs Wednesdays on BET.

Future’s Baby Mother Wants Him To Do A Deposition Regarding His Finances

This is not a repeat story though it may sound like it.

One of Future’s children’s mothers wants to see him comply with court procedures so that she can’t get child support.

According to RadarOnline.com, Brittni Mealy, his former love interest, wants the Atlanta rapper to sit for a deposition in an effort for a judge to determine if he has enough money to up her child support payments.

As reported by AllHipHop.com, the mother of his 9-year-old son, Prince, is asking to raise the child support by $3,000.

The deposition will inquire into his finances and examine how much he is actually making and if he is being untruthful about his ability to provide additional financial resources to the care of the grade schooler.

According to legal documents, the original amount was set in 2014, when the child was a toddler. On her behalf, her lawyers argue there has been a “substantial change” in Future’s income, based on his massive success as a musician that has made way for him to have other ventures.

She wants a list of all his credit charges, money transfers, any home or apartment he owns or rents and his crypto holdings.

Changes have also been made regarding the child’s needs.

Another thing Mealy alleges in the paperwork is that Future is a no-show on many of his scheduled custody shares with their son.

In addition to the increase in support, she is also asking to maintain a $350,000 life insurance policy and pay for the daycare on the days he does not honor the custody schedule, and she has to hire someone to keep the boy.

Future refutes that support needs to be increased, adding he has “consistently and timely paid his child support obligations.” He also answered that he does not always make his appointments with his son … he is a rock star, and she and the court knew that from the jump.

Rising Rappers: The Arrrise And Grind Hip Hop Cypher

From Left to Right: Yardy Léxandros, EverythinGR8, Alia Zin, Ali Khan Bey, R. Ray Robinson, J soulstice, Khzzari, Ventage, and Mikol.

What makes a hip-hop cypher so great? Is it the 2 chains an artist wears? Is it having a whole lot of “Money” by partaking in a “Hot Girl Summer?” Is it coming “Straight Outta Compton?” Is it the style or swagger that “no one on the corner” has, except for the rapper? Is it staying, “Humble!” Or is it having a rags-to-riches story as a Bastard or poor righteous teacher by becoming “Bad and Boujee?”

No! What makes a cypher is this. Cyphers are made by having stupid-dope, great, amazing, cool, fly, hot, chill, lit, or funky-fresh flow, style and rhymes that rappers vocally blast on the microphone and into the ear waves of many! Therefore, Filmmaker, Director, Producer, Editor, rap critic and enthusiast R. Ray Robinson of Arrrise And Grind Productions keeps it ‘400’ by gathering rappers in Southern California to partake in the Arrrise and Grind Cypher Chapter 2!

The Arrrise and Grind Cypher Ch. 2 was a spectacular music event. The event was where some of the best rappers from across the nation came together to demonstrate their talents and skills on the mic during the hip hop cypher session! Brace yourself! Because you are now about to witness the strength of “Real Hip Hop” rappers rising right here.

In classic hip-hop fashion for cyphers, each rapper would be huddled in a circle, then one artist would walk into the circle rapping their verse. After that rapper finishes rapping for a few seconds or minutes, the next artist would go–and so on and so forth until everyone was done. With this cypher, all the rappers of the Arrrise and Grind Cypher Ch. 2 were excited to participate and do exactly that. However, they were most excited to represent themselves as true emcees. All the rappers had their own unique styles and flow. Some had deep voices. Others were smooth.

Some were technical and calculating. Some gave off R&B vibes. And of course, all were poetic. When each rapper started off their verse, they gradually became more upbeat rapping over the producer’s bombastic beats. Nonetheless, every rapper unconditionally and unapologetically rapped their lyrical bars. The names of the rappers participating: Yardy Léxandros, EverythinGR8, Alia Zin, Ali Khan Bey, J soulstice, Khzzari, Ventage, and Mikol. The three sound producers of the cypher include Prime Minister, Yardyknow, and DJ Luigi. The music video cypher for the ARRRISE AND GRIND CYPHER CH.2 was filmed at STUDIOBDTLA located in Los Angeles. Sadly, rapper Takeoff passed away recently, and the artists and crew sent their condolences.

All the rappers are creative as far as their flow and their rhymes. How they come up with a topic to rap about is amazing in itself because of how unique they all are within such a short amount of time. It is hard to say who is the best rapper on this project because they all gave off their own great and stylish performance. As soon as an artist began to rap, there was a sense of energy coming off each rapper.

People watching their performance can claim that they wanted to show off their own very best individual skill set for the culture and spirit of hip hop. The Arrrise and Grind Cypher Ch. 2 Is available on Youtube titled: “THE ARRRISE AND GRIND CYPHER CH 2” on the Youtube page arrriseandgrindproductions so go and check it out. Each artist can be reached through their social media platforms as well.

Did Kodak Black Get Into A Fight? He Also Disses 21 Savage!

Yak.

Kodak Black reportedly got into a fight in Houston, Texas. Before we get into the details of the alleged altercation, let’s be clear: rappers need to be careful in Texas. Kodak Black is one of the most successful artist of our times and he’s even got clout with the ex-president. He’s had a myriad of controversy and legal problems starting in middle school. He needs to be easy! Remember, he got shot, right?

His new wave of success crescendoed in 2021 when then President Donald Trump commuted a federal prison sentence of four years. And, he’s been free ever since.

Apparently, there is a video floating around, showing Kodak and his crew in an altercation. It is apparently from Houston, Texas. I have not confirmed anything, but there is a video below. The fight reportedly happened after a party for singer, Justin Bieber, who ironically sang at rapper Takeoff’s funeral.

Nobody really knows what’s going on here, but if it deals with Kodak Black, I am sure we will find out shortly.

On top of all of this, Kodak Black, reportedly chastised his adversary, 21 Savage for saying Naws is not relevant. He let him have it! That was pretty cool, because Kodak Black hasn’t really represented a lot of positivity in a very long time if ever.

He said:
“[21 Savage] talking about, ‘Oh, Nas irrelevant.’ How the f### Nas irrelevant, hoe? How the f#ck Nas ain’t relevant, homie? N###a smoking dEck! Did a f##king [album with Drake]. We salute Drake, we love Drake, okay, whatever.

Nas that n###a, homie. I know I can (I know I can) / Be what I wanna be (Be what I wanna be) / If I work hard at it (If I work hard at it) / I’ll be where I wanna be. You crazy, boy! The f##k? Nas that boy. Homie, you tripping. Nas that n###a, boy, you tripping, boy. The f##k? A n###a fEEEed up about Nas. I love that boy, homie. I ain’t saying n###as ain’t lit or whatever and they on they real. Nas wasn’t bothering you, boy. I wasn’t bothering you, n###a.”

Anyway, the old heads are probably happy that somebody from the younger era is checking the savage one. 21 also seems to want the smoke in a Verzuz with Yak. I don’t see that happening.
