Tasha K Argues Cardi B Didn’t Disprove Prostitute & HPV Claims; Demands New Trial

Tasha K continues to seek a new trial after losing a lawsuit to Cardi B.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the vlogger claims Cardi B failed to disprove allegations regarding prostitution and HPV in their legal battle. Earlier this year, a jury found Tasha K liable of defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“[Cardi B’s] claims were based on six statements, which she alleged were Defamatory,” Tasha K’s lawyer Olga Izmaylova wrote. “However, Plaintiff failed to prove, with clear and convincing evidence, that the Defendants published any of those six statements with actual malice. The gist of Plaintiff’s evidence consisted of her testimony that those six statements were not true. Meanwhile, the Defendants presented a plethora of evidence, showing the origin of each one of the six statements and proving the Defendants did not act with actual malice.”

Tasha K, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, claims a judge swayed the trial in Cardi B’s favor. Her lawyer says a judge wrongfully prevented character evidence from being presented to jurors.

“At trial, the Defendants were prohibited from presenting evidence of [Cardi B’s] character and specific instances of Plaintiff’s conduct, even though under Georgia law, when there is an assertion of damage to reputation (like in this case), Plaintiff’s character is substantively at issue,” Izmaylova wrote. “The district court’s erroneous exclusion of Plaintiff’s character evidence resulted in a very lopsided presentation of evidence to the jury. Because the jury did not get to learn the type of conduct Plaintiff engages in or who the Plaintiff truly is as a person, the jury returned a general verdict for the Plaintiff, against both Defendants.”

Izmaylova argues Cardi B never proved Tasha K published anything with actual malice. The lawyer says the vlogger provided a “plethora of evidence” citing the origins of her allegations, which included claims of prostitution and drug use.

“Ms. Kebe testified that when she said [Cardi B] was a prostitute, she believed that to be a true statement because ‘Ms. Almanzar has made various videos over the course of her career bragging about being a prostitute and having tricks,” Izmaylova wrote. “The Defendants proved that Ms. Kebe did not act with actual malice when Ms. Kebe said Plaintiff was a prostitute, so Plaintiff cannot prevail on the defamation claim with that statement.”

Tasha K’s lawyer also addressed her client publishing allegations about Cardi B having STDs.

“Ms. Kebe has never made the statement that [Cardi B] has genital herpes and no evidence of such a statement was introduced at trial,” Izmaylova wrote. “When asked whether Jones said Plaintiff had herpes, Ms. Kebe clarified ‘[c]old sores to be exact.’”

The lawyer continued, “Ms. Kebe testified that when she says Plaintiff has cold sores or herpes, she is basing that statement on the following information: the definition of cold sores as an ‘infection with the herpes simplex virus around the border of the lips; a video in which Ms. Kebe believed she heard Plaintiff admit to having cold sores; pictures of Plaintiff with cold sores on her lips; pictures of Plaintiff’s husband with cold sores on his lips; tons of tweets, dating back to 2015, stating that Plaintiff has cold sores or herpes; hearing other celebrities say that Plaintiff has cold sores or herpes; and knowing that those pictures, tweets, and statements (published long before the Jones interview) are still available to the public and that Plaintiff has never sued any of the people, who made those statements, for defamation.”

Tasha K demands a new trial, contending a jury erroneously found her liable of defamation and invasion of privacy. Her attorney says the original verdict “must be reversed in its entirety” and character evidence must be allowed if the case is tried again.

Somehow Laverne Cox Got Mistaken for Beyonce As Serena Williams Played

Beyonce is one of the most beautiful women in the history of women. And that’s just her looks. Bey is known to show up to to some big time events and, at times, move on the low. Serena Williams is making his victory lap at the U.S. Open. This is a big deal, because she has already announced her retirement. But, she won her first bout and that keeps hope alive that she can win all of Wimbledon.

For a quick second, people thought Queen Bey had pulled up! But you know the internet…nothing gets past the sleuths of the web! Soon, somebody posted the following: “Deleted that tweet about Beyonce being at the #USOpen in a mask. That’s actually Laverne Cox (Checked the still from the match, then looked at Laverne’s outfit. It’s the same).”

At first, I thought it was crazy, but now it makes sense. First of all, Laverne Cox does not look like Laverne Cox. She actually looks like somebody else.

Am I wrong?

HOWEVER, with a mask, they do look a lot a lot.

Kim Kardashian “Mortified” By Backlash From Her Own Insensitive Comments About Working Women

Kim Kardashian was “mortified” by the backlash to her work comments.

In the trailer for the new season of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kim can be heard reacting to the backlash from her Variety profile, which was published earlier this year and featured her claiming “nobody wants to work these days.”

The reality TV star faced criticism for her comments. While some slammed Kim as out of touch after being raised in financial privilege, others noted that she was sued for allegedly violating labor laws in 2021.

In “The Kardashians” trailer, Kim and her sister Khloé Kardashian spoke about the controversy.
“You saw all the backlash on the Variety interview?” Kim asked, to which Khloé replied, “No one sympathizes with you.”

Kim confessed, “I’m mortified, and I do understand why people were upset.” During her interview with Variety, the SKIMS founder gave her “best advice for women in business.”

Kim said, “Get your f###### ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days. You have to surround yourself with people that want to work. Have a good work environment where everyone loves what they do, because you have one life. No toxic work environments.”

Pete Davidson, who Kim began dating in October, was noticeably absent from the trailer. They have yet to address reports that they split up earlier this month.

It’s unclear whether this season of “The Kardashians” will cover Kim and Pete’s relationship and alleged breakup.

LUNAclipse Rises Out Of Mania For Music

Once every generation or so, an artist arrives to challenge everything we know about music, our society, art, and culture as we know it.

The last three years have seen the world experience global intergenerational traumas not seen since World War 2.

Out of that darkness has emerged a new champion for the nameless, faceless, forgotten masses, LUNAclipse.

The birth of LUNAclipse occured when a manic episode led to him being falsely charged with assault and placed in the Twin Towers Correctional Facility for the criminally insane in Los Angeles.

Confronted with discrimination, LUNA turned inward and developed a mindset that dissembles any notion of ego and presents an appreciation for the tenacity he’s always held as part of his identity.

Over the years, trips to rehab and soul-searching granted a new level of clarity to LUNA’s mission. From speaking in rhyme (a textbook manic symptom) to delusions of the Apocalypse, the New York-born emcee is driven by a methodical approach to storytelling for his own healing and catharsis. His first song, “LUNAcy,” is a deep dive into the darkest depths of human nature, exploring the nuances of mental illness and the often controversial nature of spirituality.

This track also sparked the first of many collaborations with 16 Grammy-nominated Haitian producer Jerry Wonda and his Wonda Music label(The Fugees, Mary J.Blidge, Beyonce, Santana, John Legend). LUNA, short for Lunatic, was emboldened by the discovery that rap could purge his enraged, angst-ridden way of thinking while using his voice to instill a sense of healing in today’s world. LUNA has also collaborated with Havoc of Mobb Deep, Flatlinerz, Kash Juliano, Denaun Porter, Canibus, Chino XL, Vinuum Hemlock, and B.K. Habermehl to name a few. With no sign of slowing down, LUNA is gearing up for the release of his debut album LUNACY this fall – an appropriate showcase of his artistic vision, energetic range and sheer individuality, due for release this fall.

Listen to his two released singles, Lunacy & The Twin Towers on Spotify – click here.

The videos for Lunacy and Twin Towers have received more than 400,000 view to date

The third installment in this music and video  series, “Minds on Fire” is currently available for streaming on Vevo and Spotify.

LUNAclipse made his first in person appearance walking The MTV Music Awards Red Carpet with his producer Jerry Wonda. His unique look has caught the attention of industry watchers across the globe.

Discussing her plans to pursue acting in an interview for The Cut, Megan noted that she is taking her cues from two other major hip-hop stars.

“When I look at them, it inspires me to take it further than just music,” she shared, referring to Queen Latifah and Ice Cube. “I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress – I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”

In addition to her various projects, Megan is also set to appear alongside Nathan Lane, Megan Mullally, and Bowen Yang in the upcoming film, “F**king Identical Twins.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, the 27-year-old revealed that she would sign up for a “Bring It On” reboot in a second.

Specifically, she would like to take on the role of Isis, the character played by Gabrielle Union in the original 2000 cheerleading movie.

According to Alejandro A.B, the Music Industry Does Not Want You to Know these 5 Secrets

When you think of the music industry, what kind of picture comes to your mind? If it spotlights trigger-happy paparazzi, sold-out concerts, and cheering crowds of fans – you’ve been bit by the media bug and are running a high fever of delusion. Show business is about two things – show and business. And the show also means appearances. That doesn’t mean that those things don’t happen or are reserved for a chosen few, but that they are less frequent than you may imagine. In this article, Alejandro A.B will bust some myths as he shares 5 secrets that nobody in the music industry wants you to know about.

It’s not all glory

When you see the stars shining and belting out choice numbers, you feel goosebumps. If they can make you feel that way, then perhaps, you too can make someone feel that way with your music and let the flood of their love pour all over you. If that’s the direction of your thought, then Alejandro A.B advises you to stop dreaming. He says, “If your focus is fame because that’s what you think the music industry is about, you’re in for a rude shock. It’s more sweat, blood, and gut than glory.”

You aren’t always the center of attention

It may not seem like it when you watch your favorite stars roused to another level during a speech, concert, or a casual walk in the street, but the truth, as Alejandro A.B puts it is, “no one’s the center of attention all the time. There’s a lot that goes into the making of a star, that is, for him or her to become alluring and attractive to the masses. That’s the way this business works. It’s better to know that from the start before you decide to plunge into it.”

You fail more often than you succeed

Failure is the norm rather than the exception in the music industry. All the A-listers you can think of have failed just as much as you probably will, if not more. Alejandro A.B says, “Glamour is a way to polish the pain that many artists have had to endure to make it big. It’s not easy to catch eyeballs and get attention. It takes time, good music, and an attitude to match.”

Marketing is a part of your creative process

The purists will hate it, but they can’t ignore it. Alejandro A.B says, “It takes two things to make the world sit up and take notice – good music and good marketing skills. Marketing yourself need not corrupt you or your music if you make it a part of your creative process.”

It’s more important to have a loyal fan base than a large one

Most musicians dream of swaying large audiences instead of forming a loyal fan base. For Alejandro A.B, that’s unfortunate because “in the long run, you’ll be remembered for what you have created and not for how many people you’ve sung for. The quality of your art will always outshine the quantity of your audience.”

Alejandro A.B’s inside tips can indeed help you keep a steady head as an upcoming musician.

Jake Paul Sets Up Battle Champion Fighter Anderson Silva

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has lined up a new opponent to fight, securing one of the most battle-ready athletes of his generation, Anderson Silva.

According to TMZ, Paul and the UFC middleweight champion often said to be the greatest MMA fighter ever, will square off in October.

Jake Paul believes in his punch, and believes he will win against the 47-year-old. Running the stats, Jake seems very impressive. At 25 and 6’1, he has a competitive reach of 76 inches, which has helped him have a 5-0 record, winning four by knockout.

As AllHipHop.com reported, in his short career, Jake Paul has triumphed over former NBA player Nate Robinson and two former UFC stars, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

This is in comparison to Silva, who has beaten names like Julio Caesar Chavez, Jr., Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort, Forrest Griffin, and Tito Ortiz, who stands a 6’2 and has a reach of 74 inches.

Despite all of these accolades, he has an overall record of 34-11-0 as a professional fighter, according to ESPN.

“Mane if Jake Paul beats Anderson Silva ima have to step in the ring.”

“Anderson Silva is a top 3 greatest mixed martial artist of all time. Take a second and watch his highlight reel before calling him a washed up mma guy. This isn’t Tyron Woodley bro.”

“Come one still… we don’t say Jake is the boxing champion of he beats him, we just say that boy is good and needs to level up to fight young boxing champions…”

“Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva isn’t still a fair match-up for JP cuz Silva is 47 years old !! why can’t JP fight a real boxer with same weight class with him for once in his professional boxing career if he wants to be taken seriously!.”

Dionne Warwick “Confused” By Yung Gravy’s Name

The “Mr. Clean” rapper, real name Matthew Hauri, hit the headlines on Sunday when he stepped out at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards with Addison Rae’s mother, Sheri Easterling, as his date.

But while many people were interested in Yung Gravy and Sheri’s new romance, Dionne took to Twitter to question the 26-year-old’s choice of name.

“Young Gravy? Like the food??????” she asked her followers.

Dionne later realized that she had made a slight error regarding Yung Gravy’s spelling.

“I have just learned that it is ‘Yung’ and not ‘Young.’ I am still confused about the gravy. Okay,” the 81-year-old continued.

In response, “Wonder Woman” star Lynda Carter wrote, “I guess it’s better than Old Gravy??” to which Dionne replied, “You have a point.”

Beyoncé narrates Gatorade’s “Love Means Everything” ad. The nearly two-minute television spot celebrating Serena Williams debuted during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

Giggs Reacts To Jay-Z Co-Sign; Joins DJ Khaled, Offset, Fabolous & More For ‘God Did’ Celebration

The internet has been full of praise from Jay-Z since his verse on DJ Khaled’s “God Did,” landed last week, with many claiming Hov got verse of the year.

One person on the receiving end of the music industry mogul’s praise is U.K. rapper Giggs, who Jay-Z shouted out on the track. “I see a lot of Hov in Giggs”, he raps in “God Did,” giving the Londoner a hefty co-sign.

Giggs joined DJ Khaled for a celebration of the album at the weekend, alongside a host of other rappers. He took to Instagram to share some footage from the event featuring Fabolous, Offset, Dave East, and more. The South Londoner smiled as DJ Khaled and others celebrated him while the track played in the background.

It is not the first time Giggs has woken up to find he’s on the receiving end of a Jay-Z co-sign. In November 2017, the legendary New York rapper surprised the crowd when he remixed Drake’s “More Life” and Giggs’s underground classic “KMT” while on stage in Toronto.

“That’s mad,” he said, shortly after it happened. “That’s a big man,” Giggs said of Jay-Z. He recalled getting ready to take his son to school in the morning when he learned of the news. “I was f###### knackered man, then I see that and I was just up.”

Last year Giggs joined Jay-Z for the New York premiere of “The Harder They Fall,” in November. The pair chatted like old friends during the star-studded event as they laughed and joked with the film’s director.

Meanwhile, Giggs has been back in New York, mixing and mingling with Maino, Jim Jones, Favio Foreign, and Dave East. He also dropped by DJ Whoo Kid to drop off a fresh new freestyle over a classic beat. Check it out and listen to “God Did” below.

The two talented rappers then flattered each other with compliments while Megan The Stallion revealed that she likes how submissive Yung Miami is with her. “You be very girly every time I see you and I be like, ‘That’s why I like her. She be ready to just come sit in my lap.’ That’s what I like.”

Later in the interview, they admitted wanting to kiss each other and actually getting together. Both women have a man in their life. Megan Thee Stallion is dating Pardison Fontaine, while Yung Miami, though maintaining she is still single, she’s having fun with Diddy.

Elsewhere during the conversation, Megan Thee Stallion turned up the heat, explaining what a night with her is like. “It’s triple-X, b####. X-rated. Like the old school p###, too. Noises. Ebony p###, b####.” She then asked Yung Miami what type of p### she’s into, with Miami confessing she is only turned on by girl-on-girl p###: “I feel like that’s how I always knew I was bisexual … I feel like [women] know how to please each other.” Check out the episode at the end of the page.

Last month, Yung Miami shared a video showing her and Megan Thee Stallion flirting during a night out. The pair grabbed and stroked each other as Megan joked that she was upset by Caresha going public with Diddy.
