Nicki Minaj and her war with Gavin Newsom has hit a new level, after his communications director, Izzy Gardon, called her a “stupid hoe” following her criticism of the California Governor.

The controversy erupted Friday when Nicki Minaj launched a series of social media attacks against Gavin Newsom after he told the New York Times about his desire to “see trans kids” and support for pro-trans legislation.

“Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids,” Minaj wrote on X. “Not even a trans ADULT would run on that. Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids. Not Gav. The Gav Nots. GavOUT. Send in the next guy, I’m bored.”

The rapper declared it was the “end of the road” for Newsom’s career.

“Oh Gavvy pooh, it only gets worse from here for you, buddy. It’s the end of the road for you, my love,” she posted. “Get on the nearest jet ski & let that beautiful hair blow in the wind. It will make you happier than this race that you will not win. Enjoy life. Peace.”

Gardon responded over the weekend by posting an image of a t-shirt with Minaj’s name and face in a trash bin, writing simply “Stupid Hoe.”

When criticized by California Republican state Rep. Carl DeMaio for calling a Black woman a “stupid hoe,” Gardon defended his comment by referencing Nicki Minaj’s 2011 song of the same name.

“Any certified homosexual would know ‘Stupid Hoe’ is Nicki Minaj’s best song. We may need to take your gay card away, Carl. Your infractions are becoming insufferable,” Gardon wrote.

Democrats and Republicans dug in, each supporting their side in the odd feud.

“He goes too far and Gavin doesn’t reign him in. It’s just a matter of time before something tragic happens to him. He doesn’t seem to have any boundaries,” one user said.

“I mean…she does have a song that is literally called ‘Stupid Hoe”‘…Maybe it’s just energy matching energy? Idk,” another person said.

The feud represents Nicki Minaj’s latest alignment with conservative political figures. She recently spoke at the United Nations alongside Trump allies about Christian persecution in Nigeria and has strengthened ties with the administration.

The controversy comes as the governor has been positioning himself for a potential 2028 presidential run.

Singer Trey Songz Arrested For Allegedly Punching Nightclub Employee

Trey Songz was arrested early Friday in Times Square after prosecutors say he punched a nightclub employee when the venue closed.

Published reports reveal the R&B singer was charged with third degree assault and second degree mischief following a predawn confrontation at Dramma Night Club. Authorities say the incident unfolded around 4 a.m. on Dec. 6 after staff informed the artist the venue was shutting down for the night.

Prosecutors allege Songz reacted with unnecessary anger and struck an employee in the face causing swelling and significant pain.

The 41-year-old performer was at the club with friends and no other arrests were reported. Court documents describe the alleged victim as a nightclub worker who suffered injuries during the encounter. Songz is reportedly a familiar face at the Times Square venue.

Songz was granted supervised release after a daytime appearance at Manhattan Criminal Court. A judge issued a full order of protection barring him from contacting the employee and scheduled the next court appearance for Feb. 18.

Outside the courthouse the singer declined to address questions from photographers and reportedly said, “Have a good night, brother.”

The arrest places renewed attention on a long list of past legal problems that have followed the singer for much of his career. In 2016 Songz was charged with aggravated assault after an onstage outburst in Detroit. That case later ended with a plea to disturbing the peace and an 18 month probation sentence. In 2018 he faced accusations of striking a woman during an NBA All Star Weekend event. A restraining order was issued and felony charges were later dropped.

More recent incidents have continued to draw scrutiny. Songz was arrested in 2021 after a physical altercation with a police officer at a Kansas City Chiefs game. He was cleared in a sexual assault investigation in 2022 and settled a rape lawsuit the same year. A civil suit filed in 2023 accuses him of groping two women at a party and remains pending.

In July investigators examined claims that he assaulted a cameraman outside another New York nightclub leaving the man hospitalized with a fractured eye socket.

As the current case moves forward Songz remains free while navigating both the criminal charges and the ongoing impact of repeated allegations.

Songz’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Rostrum Pacific secured a $150 million financing deal from New York-based Crayhill Capital Management to fuel its catalog-acquisition ambitions.

The parent company of indie powerhouse Rostrum Records announced the partnership Thursday, marking a major expansion of its strategy to become “the preeminent independent music company.”

The financing comes from Crayhill Capital Management, a private credit specialist managing $2.9 billion in assets. Rostrum Pacific CEO Benjy Grinberg plans to use the funds to pursue catalog opportunities “of any scale” and integrate them into the company’s established ecosystem.

Rostrum Records built its reputation by discovering and developing breakthrough Hip-Hop talent in Pittsburgh. Grinberg founded the label in 2003 and quickly established it as a launching pad for future superstars.

The label signed Mac Miller in 2010 when he was just 18 years old, helping transform the young Pittsburgh rapper into a chart-topping artist whose debut album Blue Slide Park became the first independently distributed album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 since 1995.

Wiz Khalifa became another Rostrum success story after joining the label in 2007. His breakthrough single “Black and Yellow” became a Pittsburgh anthem and launched him to mainstream stardom. Both artists helped establish Rostrum’s reputation for identifying raw talent and developing it into commercial success.

The label expanded beyond its Pittsburgh roots over the years, eventually consolidating multiple businesses under the Rostrum Pacific umbrella in 2023. The company now operates Rostrum Records, Fat Beats, Cantora Records and digital distribution platform SpaceHeater.

SpaceHeater launched last year as an AI-powered music distribution and analytics platform. The technology offers “unmatched transparency and accuracy” for tracking how artists’ music gets used to train AI models and determining fair compensation for AI-generated outputs.

“Securing this funding reflects confidence in our value-creation strategy – one that leverages strategic partnerships and collaborative frameworks to drive high-value returns,” said Scott Margolin, Rostrum’s Chief Financial Officer, who led negotiations with Crayhill.

“With this backing, we’re expanding our reach and deepening our commitment to ensure that music under our care gets heard,” Margolin added. “We’re focused on catalog we can actively grow – whether it’s assets we acquire or the catalog we’ve been building for more than 20 years.”

Jihane Hassad, Director of TMT Investment Group at Crayhill, praised Rostrum’s “compelling in-house model that drives value creation and strategic growth.” Crayhill has invested over $500 million across its Technology, Media & Telecom strategy, including investments in music, film and TV libraries.

The deal positions Rostrum Pacific to compete in the increasingly competitive music catalog acquisition market. Major labels and investment firms have poured billions into acquiring music rights as streaming revenues continue growing globally.

Rostrum’s catalog, previously distributed by ADA, is now available exclusively through SpaceHeater. The December 11 announcement signals the company’s aggressive push to expand its music portfolio and establish itself as a major independent player in the evolving music industry landscape.

TikTok creator Kailey (@oh_kayxo) reached for the Dunkin’ coffee she’d left in her car overnight, she expected to find a stale, cold beverage. Instead, she made a viral clip in which she found something far more disturbing and disgusting: A dead baby mouse floating in the cup.

In the brief clip, which has 1.7 million views, she says: “Oh my God, there’s a dead mouse in my coffee from yesterday.” The overlay reads, “Here’s your sign to clean your car and don’t leave any food or drinks in it.”

Tashella Dickerson has been charged with embezzling $3.15 million from Black Lives Matter OKC donations meant for bail funds and using the money for luxury vacations and real estate purchases.

The 52-year-old executive director faces 25 federal charges after a grand jury indictment was unsealed on December 11.

Prosecutors say she deposited returned bail checks into her personal accounts rather than into the organization’s accounts between June 2020 and October 2025.

Dickerson spent the stolen funds on trips to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. She also bought six properties in Oklahoma City, a personal vehicle and dropped $50,000 on food deliveries for herself and her children.

The scheme targeted funds raised after George Floyd was murdered by Derek Chauvin in 2020.

BLM OKC collected over $5.6 million from online donors and national bail funds, including the Community Justice Exchange, Massachusetts Bail Fund and Minnesota Freedom Fund.

Those organizations sent grants specifically to help post bail for protesters arrested during racial justice demonstrations. When bail money was returned to BLM OKC, the national groups sometimes allowed the local chapter to keep portions to build a revolving bail fund.

But Dickerson allegedly had other plans. She’s accused of funneling at least $3.15 million into her personal accounts and going on shopping sprees that cost tens of thousands of dollars.

The FBI and IRS investigated the case after discovering Dickerson submitted false annual reports to the Alliance for Global Justice. AFGJ served as BLM OKC’s fiscal sponsor since the local chapter wasn’t a registered tax-exempt organization.

Dickerson told AFGJ that she used only funds for tax-exempt purposes. She didn’t mention the luxury trips, property purchases or personal expenses.

This case adds to the growing scrutiny of Black Lives Matter’s financial practices nationwide. Other BLM leaders have faced similar fraud charges in recent years for misusing donations meant for social justice work.

Dickerson faces up to 20 years in federal prison for each wire fraud count and 10 years for each money laundering charge. The maximum fines reach $250,000 per count.

“Let me tell y’all something,” she says while clearly operating the drive-thru window. “Y’all dropped these [expletive] Grinch meal, got me at work fighting for my life right now. I am fighting for my life right now because y’all dropped these meals.”

What Is McDonald’s New Grinch Meal?

McDonald’s is celebrating this holiday season with a Dr. Seuss-inspired Grinch Meal. The meal, which debuted on Dec. 2, features either a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets accompanied by dill pickle-flavored “Grinch Salt” fries and a medium soft drink. That would be compelling enough, but consumers also get a pair of Grinch-inspired socks in four different colors.

McDonald’s uses these promotional meal deals to connect with younger and more pop culture minded demographics. Other partnerships include rapper Travis Scott, WNBA player Angel Reese, and South Korean boy band BTS.

Except it’s not just kids going crazy for the Grinch Meal and its socks-and-dill salt comb. According to Business Insider, this strategy is leading to the Grinch Meals—and their coveted socks—being sold out in stores across the country. That’s because adults are dying to get their hands on the socks, too.

Viewers React to McDonald’s Worker’s Grinch Mentality

In the comments section, viewers teased Janell by saying she should spend more time stocking socks and dill fries and less complaining.

“I’m hungry for a Grinch Meal,” quipped one viewer.

EXCLUSIVE: Damon Dash Film Empire Set Heading For Auction As Two States Chase Millions

Damon Dash is set to watch his film catalog hit the auction block in New York City on December 30, 2025, as two states scramble to collect millions from his $25 million bankruptcy case.

A federal judge authorized the United States Marshals Service to sell copyrights tied to Poppington LLC, Dash’s media company, including titles like Honor Up, Too Honorable and Welcome to Blackrock.

The court-approved auction follows years of litigation and mounting debts, including a $4 million defamation judgment awarded to filmmaker Josh Webber and Muddy Water Pictures.

The films, including Honor Up, which is executive-produced by Kanye West and features Dash, Cam’ron, and Stacy Dash, are now part of a public sale ordered by Magistrate Judge Robert Lehrburger.

The minimum bid is $300,000, but the final price could increase depending on interest.

Damon Dash filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in September, listing $25,073,520.58 in liabilities and just $4,350 in assets, according to court records reviewed by AllHipHop_._

His debts include $19 million in unpaid taxes, nearly $400,000 in back child and spousal support, and multiple civil judgments dating back more than a decade.

The bankruptcy filing was intended to pause collection efforts, but the court ruled that assets already seized by the Marshals were not protected from sale, allowing the auction to proceed.

Now, both New York and New Jersey have stepped in to claim what they can. The New Jersey Division of Taxation filed a secured claim for $3,996,830.62, backed by a statutory lien on all of Dash’s property and earning 10.75 percent interest.

Meanwhile, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance filed a competing claim for $8,668,450.51 in unpaid income taxes. Both agencies submitted their claims before the auction, positioning themselves to collect first from any proceeds.

Creditors like Webber also have the option to “credit bid” their judgments, meaning they can claim the film rights in exchange for the debt Damon Dash already owes them, potentially leaving little for other creditors.

This isn’t Dash’s first court-ordered liquidation. In November 2024, he lost his one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella Records after failing to pay an $823,000 civil judgment to Webber over the film Dear Frank.

That auction, held in Manhattan, drew a $1 million winning bid from an anonymous representative of the State of New York, which used the purchase to help recover part of the $8.7 million in back taxes Dash owed.

50 Cent Locks In $50 Million To Build Film Empire In Louisiana

50 Cent locked in a big win in Shreveport, where Louisiana officials are preparing to funnel $50 million into his expanding film and television ventures through a new state-backed initiative.

The funding, channeled through the Louisiana Site and Infrastructure Development Fund, will support three of 50 Cent’s G-Unit projects: G-Unit Studios, G-Stage and the G-Dome.

.The funds are set to flow through the newly created Shreveport Film & Entertainment Economic Development Corporation, which the City Council unanimously approved on December 9.

“I think we’re targeting, hopefully, for an exciting announcement there in the next couple of weeks,” said Paige Carter, Chief Business Development Officer at Louisiana Economic Development, during an interview with The Shreveport Bossier City Advocate.

The plan is part of a broader $118 million capital investment in downtown Shreveport. Fif’s G-Unit Studios will receive $78 million for a top-to-bottom overhaul.

G-Stage, formerly known as Stageworks, is slated to receive $24 million in upgrades to become a destination for live TV and entertainment events. Meanwhile, the G-Dome, a 30,000-square-foot spherical venue at Spring and Travis streets, will be built from the ground up at a $22 million cost.

Carter said the fund is designed to reduce risk and accelerate development timelines. Unlike traditional grants, the program requires repayment.

“The unique thing about this, rather than seeing it as a grant, there is a requirement to pay that money back into the program. And so our hope is that this becomes a revolving fund for us,” Carter added. “There is actually going to be some sort of partnership where the funding is coming back to us to replenish what has been gifted.”

The nonprofit corporation will oversee all distribution of funds within the newly designated Film and Entertainment Gateway Economic Development District.

The five-member board will include one appointee from the Louisiana Economic Development secretary, two from the governor, one from the Senate president and one from the House speaker. Their names have not yet been announced.

50 Cent’s involvement is being hailed as a strategic move to reenergize the city’s economy.

The state’s development plan lays out performance benchmarks over five years. In the first year, 50’s team must deliver at least 2 productions with a combined budget of $5 million.

By year five, that number climbs to eight productions totaling $25 million. LED officials believe the project could reshape the city’s economic landscape.

They say it will diversify Shreveport’s business base, attract new investment, create jobs, and generate tax revenue. The city also hopes it will build local pride and offer career pathways in the entertainment industry.

TikTok creator Jaedon (@clear2rts) is an Amazon driver with a bone to pick with his warehouse colleagues. In a video posted on Nov. 25, he shows two packages with identical yellow stickers. “Stop [expletive] doing this [expletive], please,” he says.

The video currently has more than 250,000 views and 2,600 likes.

Why Did This Amazon Driver Call Out Warehouse Workers?

There’s a role in Amazon warehouses where an employee uses an induction gun to place stickers on the packages. These stickers, which are sometimes yellow, feature a short code known as a driver’s assist number.

That number is what many drivers use to identify packages at each stop, while warehouse workers use these stickers to assemble the totes given to Flex workers.

Employees on the induction line often note that it’s a physically and mentally demanding task that doesn’t leave a lot of room for error. When errors do happen, drivers like Jaedon have to improvise on their delivery route. That can sometimes lead to delivery delays.

Viewers Explain Amazon Driver’s Assist Numbers

In the comments section, Amazon workers from the warehouse to the road discussed Jaedon’s complaint.

“I’m confused, what’s the problem?” asked one viewer who presumably works on the warehouse side. “These yellow tags tell us which tote the package goes in so it goes on the correct route.”

A second viewer replied, “The issue is there are two separate packages with the same driver’s assist number (U69). Drivers are trained to look at this number.”

“To make it worse, they put the sticker over the label so you can’t see the address,” a third person said.

Other viewers argued that the issue is systemic and therefore can’t be blamed on individual warehouse workers.

“Come spend a day with us stowing packages,” said one person. “We all have our own personal laundry list of things that irritate us. However, that’s the process. Become one with it. Realize nothing is perfect and we are all doing the best.”

Someone else argued, “Look again. They have two different [Transportation Booking Numbers]. The system does that, not the people, and no one has any time to double check anything. Not even the problem solvers.”

Clayton Howard says the Justice Department used his story to boost Diddy’s prison sentence, then threw him away once the cameras were gone.

In a new motion filed in Manhattan federal court, Howard accuses prosecutors of exploiting his trauma to secure Diddy’s conviction for transporting male prostitutes across state lines, then denying him every fundamental right guaranteed under the Crime Victims’ Rights Act.

The filing names former Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey, the daughter of ex-FBI Director James Comey, as the official who oversaw his cooperation and later tried to silence him when he attempted to testify about Cassie Ventura’s alleged role in the encounters.

“Assistant Prosecutor Maurene Comey became annoyed when I said I wanted to tell the truth about both of my offenders,” Howard said. “She said I was too traumatized to testify, which I denied.”

Howard describes years of travel between New York, Los Angeles, and Miami from 2012 to 2019. He says Diddy and Ventura recruited him through ads on Backpage.com and paid him between $1,500 and $6,000 to participate in orchestrated “Freak Offs,” during which Diddy watched while Ventura engaged with male escorts.

The government later used his cooperation and evidence to classify him as a “victim,” one of five under Count 3, a move that increased Diddy’s sentencing under federal guidelines. But when Howard tried to exercise his victim rights after the trial, he says prosecutors shut him out.

He sent three unanswered letters, made a personal trip to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, and had a short call with a victim-witness advocate who never returned his message. Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson finally responded, not to help him, but to allegedly deny that he was a victim at all.

“I have been patient and persistent,” Howard wrote. “The government used my cooperation when it served their interest, but now treats me as if I do not exist.”

Howard’s frustration erupted after discovering that the government’s sentencing memo explicitly listed him as a victim, the same designation prosecutors later rejected when he requested assistance applying for the Backpage Remission Program.

This federal fund will distribute more than $200 million to trafficking victims. With a February 2, 2026, deadline approaching, Howard says he’s racing against the clock to prove his eligibility.

Howard is also taking aim at prosecutors’ alleged efforts to protect Ventura’s image during the trial. Howard claims he was ready to testify that Cassie “was not a victim of sex trafficking but an active participant.”

Instead, he says Comey and others kept him silent by misusing protective orders. He argues that this selective narrative helped secure the disgraced mogul’s conviction while concealing Ventura’s alleged complicity.

Comey’s name is already back in the headlines for different reasons.

In July 2025, she was abruptly fired by Donald Trump, prompting her to sue the Department of Justice for wrongful termination.

Her ouster drew heavy criticism from legal peers who saw it as part of a broader political purge of career prosecutors. Howard’s filing now links her firing to the Diddy saga, suggesting that internal politics and public image influenced how victims were handled.

Diddy, 55, was convicted on July 2, 2025, for two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, all male escorts and was sentenced to 50 months in prison on October 3.

He was acquitted of racketeering and sex-trafficking charges. He is serving his sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Howard insists the government owes him more than silence.

“All I want is fairness, dignity, and the same respect given to every other victim,” he said.
