Blac Youngsta Delivers Young Dolph Diss “Shake Sum” at Club

Actions are everything. While performing in Texas, at Aces of Dallas, Blac Youngsta, left a crowd utterly speechless. On Friday (Dec. 17), the Memphis native performs, Shake Sum” the diss track aimed at the late Young Dolph.

First off, it looks at though the “Anythang” entertainer is still angry. Keep in mind, before Blac hit the second verse he decides to spark a blunt. His behavior, a loud refrain of the unyielding animosity aimed at the King of Memphis.

Next, the DJ is instructed to kill the beat. So, then the “Booty” rapper decides to actually spit. To an unresponsive crowd, The Heavy Camp boss shares unfiltered bars. Indeed, poetic license is a useful device. However, the Hip-Hop police are quick to cite lyrism — or lack thereof — as evidence.

Consequently, the Southern spitter shares, “Young Dolph Thorton wanna play ho/I’m on tour with the K ho/Mac 11, Smith & Wesson, extended clip, 100 rounds though/How the f### you the king of Memphis, you ain’t from the city, you from Chicago/F### boy, you better lay low/Killers move when I say so…”

Above all, his brash delivery speaks volumes. Go ahead, listen to his candid critique.

In fact, Blac Youngsta successfully beat all associated charges stemming from his 2017 arrest. These charges are related to the incident that inspired Dolph’s “100 Shots.” Regardless of the conviction, the Heavy Camp boss is ultimately responsible for all his actions.”

Lil Mosey Insists He Had A Consensual Sexual Relationship With Rape Accuser

Since April, Lil Mosey, the artist behind songs like “Blueberry Faygo” and “Enough,” has been fighting for his life, after being accused of raping a woman at the top of the year.

Now it seems that the rapper and this legal team believe that they have new evidence about his relationship with the accused that needs to be heard in his current rape trial.

Should this information be allowed to be presented, the Washington state native, might beat the case and escape a possible life sentence.

According to TMZ, legal documents have been filed that can support that the alleged victim and he had a sexual relationship and had intercourse several times.

In April, the young woman claimed that while blacked out from drinking, she woke up to Lil Mosey and another man having sex with her.

Because she was intoxicated, so far gone that she passed out, the sex was non-consensual. The chart-topper says that is not what happened and has pled not guilty.

It is his position that because they had sex prior to this incident, he could not have raped her.

He claims that they had a romp on New Year’s Eve and once in the car. The time that they had sex in the car was actually on the same day as the alleged rape.

Though he and his attorneys are pushing to have this new evidence entered into the case, that is a long shot. Washington has a rape shield law that prohibits sexual history from being a factor in a rape case.

In Chapter 6 of the Washington Court’s manual, the rape shield is defined as follows:

“The state legislature enacted the rape shield statute to encourage victims to report sexual assault and to ensure that the jury is not unduly influenced by a victim’s irrelevant prior sexual history. Before the legislature enacted this statute, defendants had routinely produced evidence of victims’ prior sexual conduct to prove a ‘logical nexus between chastity and veracity.’”

Prosecutors argue that the law was set up for cases such as this. They believe whether she consented before has no bearing on if she consented the time in question.

The decision is to be made in January 2022.

Cardi B’s Love For Crab Legs Could Make Vegan Aspirations Difficult

Cardi B may switch to a vegan diet with help from Drew Barrymore.

The rapper recently took to Twitter to ask her followers for meat replacement suggestions as she is considering embarking on a plant-based diet.

“I want to go vegan but I love meat.. are vegan meat replacements similar to meat in taste or not really?” the Grammy winner asked.

In response, The Drew Barrymore Show host wrote, “YES @iamcardib I HAVE THE ANSWER TO YOUR MEAT FREE DREAMS. @QuornUS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! SENDING YOU SOME IMMEDIATELY. PS I LOVE YOU.”

The “50 First Dates” actress added in a video reply that she is one of the rapper’s “biggest fans” and detailed her experience with vegetarianism.

Barrymore claimed she is now “flexitarian” as she eats “predominantly vegetarian” meals.

“By the way, I love your messaging,” she continued. “I love all of us trying to figure out how to figure this out.”

Cardi returned the love in her response, writing in a quote tweet, “Ommmmmmmmggggggggg ….naaaa imagine getting food advice from Drew Barrymore (sic). I love meat so much and I LOVE CRAB LEGS but I haven’t been digesting food the same no more specially red meat. I want to start something healthier an yet tasty cause I love flavor (sic)!!”

Future Fires Shots at Jay Z: “In the Streets I’m BIGGER!”

Hyperbole serves Hip-Hop. For example, just take Future. Recently (on Dec. 17), The Wizrd, scurries down the yellow brick road, throws back the curtain and makes a shocking revelation. He claims, “In the streets I’m bigger [than] jigga.”

In fact, the The Dark Sprite spitter and HOV, have an interesting working relationship. Thus far, DJ Khaled enlists the pair on a couple of successful tracks, “I Got The Keys” and “Top Off.” However, this does not prevent the platinum artists from trading barbs.

The Backstory . . .

Indeed, it seems as though the origin of their angst arises from J’s 4:44. There, on “Kill Jay Z,” he effectively transforms the “N 2 Deep” rapper into a metaphorical learning lesson. Mr. Carter mentions the possibility of losing his marriage with wife, Beyoncé. A reflective S-dot says, “I don’t even know what you woulda done, In the future other n##### playin’ football with your son.”

Obviously, the the “Way 2 Sexy” wordsmith takes offense. After that, to demonstrate his disdain, he uses a wealth of chosen words and actions. Yup, he stands on his finances. The proverbial money phone serves to silence Jay’s assertion.

The Confrontation.

Be that as it may, Friday evening (Dec. 17), finds Mr. Freebandz touting his accomplishments. He speaks through Twitter fingers. “I’m the only one [who] can get YE to pull up whenever wherever…tuh.” Undoubtedly, Ye does shows him a lot of love. To the surprise of many, Kanye comes out during his illustrious Rolling Loud set.

Next, it is still uncertain if the muddled lyricist decides to partake in his favorite elixir. Either way, the “Stick Talk” narrator continues to laude his greatness. He matter-of-factly shares, “Everything I do legendary or it want get done. Tuh. In the streets I’m bigger then Jigga. Ima run me a B up easy.”

Here, is when things get super interesting. The “I’m The One” rhymer perfectly pens a stealth double entendre. Does that aforementioned “B” refer to billions? Or, is it a shot that’s aimed at Bey? Think about it. Folks seem comfortable referencing family members.

Moreover, the “Life Is Good” businessman portells, “100M’s not the goal anymore.” What’s on your Xmas list?? Mines getting everything they want.” Before completely shattering the Internet, he says, “Ima save the rest for 2022. LOVE” A docile peace sign concludes his comments.

The Reaction!

Consequently, the Codeine King said what he said. The flurry of Tweets his testament. Since then, social media emphatically adds its opinion.

https://twitter.com/MzLashawn69/status/1472620037630480390

To sum it up, Future Hendrix said what he said. But, peep this, it seems as though the “SORRY NOT SORRY” MC has already penned the ultimate preemptive clapback.

“… Y’all know the difference right / From rap facts and fiction, right? / Real life I’m like HOV / Real life I’m life goals…” – Jay Z

Keanu Reeves Says “The Matrix Resurrections” Helped With “Existential Crisis: “I Was Questioning Mortality”

By Candice Williams

It’s been over 20 years since fans first saw Keanu Reeves in The Matrix as Thomas Anderson/Neo, the computer programmer and hacker who Morpheus believed was  “The One,” the only person who could save the real world from the reign of the Machines. After two sequels in 2003 — The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions — Reeves, along with Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, are opening up about their return in The Matrix Resurrections, a continuation of the Matrix films.

The co-stars say they needed “zero convincing” to sign back on to the successful franchise.

“After the shock wore off at the thought that we were… doing this again,” Moss begins, “it was just nothing but, ‘Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.’”

Keanu nods, adding that his only question after accepting the role was, “What are we doing?”

While fans will have to wait until the film’s release to get the official plot details on how both Neo and Trinity were “resurrected” after their deaths in The Matrix Revolutions, it’s safe to say that there will be a lot to unpack in the over two-hour action-film. Keanu says returning to his role of Neo hit pretty close to him.

“For me, it was perfect because I was questioning… mortality. What is my life? What’s going on?,” Reeves shares. “And that fit right in with Thomas Anderson.”

Reeves’ real-life existential crisis, which seemingly coincides with Neo’s own struggle to question his reality and leave the safety of the matrix, was just one of the intense connections that the actor experienced on set. Reeves’ co-star explains that similar to the previous Matrix films, they both had to mentally prepare for the demanding training schedule so they could master their synchronized fight scenes.

“We kind of start these movies… with this training time,” Moss says of the preparation for the role. “So there’s a lot that happens…. You’re learning your fights; you’re getting in shape. For me, I had to lose weight and I had to like really get strong.”

She continues,  “And then you’re also developing the character within that, learning all this stuff and having fun laughing, seeing your screen partner over there killing it…and you’re getting inspired by watching him.”

Reeves laughs, implying that with inspiration comes plenty of pain.

“Oh! My shoulder,” he groans as Moss begins to narrate his movements, “Sitting [with an] iced knee together…sitting there, recovering together.”

“It’s so good,” Reeves sarcastically quips before Moss adds, “It’s a partnership. “

The Matrix Resurrections, also starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Morpheus and Jessica Henwick as Bugs, hits theaters on December 22. It will also be available to watch on HBO Max the same day.

Big Freedia Comments On Settling Lawsuit With Former Choreographer

Big Freedia (born Freddie Ross Jr.) filed a lawsuit against choreographer Wilberto Dejarnetti in 2018. The two sides have reportedly reached a settlement in the case.

The legal complaint filed by Big Freedia stemmed from conflict over ownership of choreographic works between 2014 and 2017. Dejarnetti allegedly demanded credit for involvement in the creation of several Big Freedia songs and music videos.

However, Freedia claimed Dejarnetti offered unsolicited suggestions about the New Orleans native’s music. Dejarnetti did appear on Big Freedia’s Queen of Bounce reality show on the Fuse network.

“Wilberto has been a great friend and collaborator to me over the years. He is a unique talent and I’m glad that we were able to move past this dispute. We’re both looking towards the future and all the opportunity it holds for each of us,” states Big Freedia.

RZA Talks Teaming With Flatbush Zombies For “Quentin Tarantino” Collaboration

Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Brooklyn-based rap group Flatbush Zombies united for another new song and music video. Their “Quentin Tarantino” visuals arrived on December 17.

“Quentin Tarantino” follows Flatbush Zombies and RZA’s “Plug Addicts” collaboration. Gravediggaz members RZA and Prince Paul produced the new track with additional production from Erick The Architect of FZ.

“This song is a dedication to one of our favorite directors, Quentin Tarantino. His movies pioneered another level and style of filmmaking artistry. We are doing the same with our art… continuously expanding the palette of Hip Hop and music,” states RZA.

“I tend to draw my inspiration from more than just music,” adds Flatbush Zombies member Meechy Darko. “When we linked up with RZA, one of the first things we spoke about was our affinity for movies. This track is a dedication to Tarantino, a genius not only behind the camera but also with the pen.”

The Quentin Tarantino filmography contains classic motion pictures such as Pulp Fiction, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. RZA actually produced the soundtracks for Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2.

Flatbush Zombies released 2016’s 3001: A Laced Odyssey and 2018’s Vacation in Hell. The trio also partnered with Beats Coast comrades Pro Era and The Underachievers for Escape from New York.

The Kid Laroi Reflects On Juice WRLD’s Final Moments Before His Death

Jarad “Juice WRLD” Higgins passed away on December 8, 2019. A medical examiner determined the 21-year-old rising music star died as a result of toxic levels of oxycodone and codeine in his system.

Juice WRLD was pronounced dead at a local Chicago-area hospital after law enforcement officials boarded the rapper’s jet at Midway International Airport. The “Lucid Dreams” rhymer reportedly ingested pills around the time of the airplane search.

Before Juice WRLD lost his life, the Grade A Productions label representative was instrumental in introducing The Kid Laroi. The Australian rapper/singer addressed his connection with Juice WRLD on records like “Tell Me Why” and “Go.”

In addition, The Kid Laroi took part in the HBO documentary Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss. The award-winning film captured the Chicago native during the last years of his life. It includes never-before-seen footage and numerous industry interviews.

“I remember walking off [the plane] and seeing through the window all the police,” recalled The Kid Laroi about the day of Juice WRLD’s death. “I was thinking, ‘What the f###?’ They said, ‘Everybody get your passport out.’ I was sitting down [on the plane], and Juice was sitting across from me.”

The Kid Laroi added, “I kinda froze because I didn’t really know what the f### I could do to help him. We were all just sitting there panicking like, ‘What the f###?’ We just thought he was having a seizure. Then blood just started coming out his mouth and his nose. Everybody obviously started freaking out way more.”

Juice WRLD: Into the Abyss debuted on HBO Max on December 16. The Tommy Oliver-directed documentary concluded the streamer’s weekly Music Box series which also featured Woodstock 99: Peace, Love, and Rage, Jagged, DMX: Don’t Try To Understand, Listening to Kenny G, and Mr. Saturday Night.

Wiz Khalifa Calls On Entertainers To Stop Disrespecting Each Other In 2022

The year 2022 is eleven days away. This is around the time people start thinking about New Year’s resolutions. Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa has a particular request for his fellow stars.

“As entertainers, [let’s] try some s### next year. Minding our own business. Not [disrespecting] each other’s family, dead homies, or area they come from,” tweeted Khalifa on Sunday.

The “Black and Yellow” hitmaker continued, “Stop using someone else’s significant other as a one-up to the other person. Actually showing the same love you expect to get.”

Wiz Khalifa went on to offer more thoughts about his 2021 recommendations for the entertainment industry. He added, “Not [saying] any of these are a direct cause of violence but [changing] em could help.”

Kanye West Buys Thousands Of Gifts For Chicago Toy Drive

Kanye West has made Christmas a little cheerier for thousands of families in Chicago after donating more than 4,000 toys to a local toy drive. The gifts were given to children at the Toys for Englewood event held at Kennedy King Gymnasium on Sunday.

Stephanie Coleman, Alderman of Chicago’s 16th Ward, spoke to the press about Kanye West and his impact on the community.

“I’m so proud that Kanye is, once again, responding to our request to help the children of Englewood and beyond,” she told ABC 7 Chicago. “He is no stranger to our community. His presence has always been felt in our neighborhoods and he loves visiting, but this Christmas he has truly been our modern-day Santa Claus.”

Coleman called Kanye West “our hometown hero” and thanked him “for understanding that children in Englewood, and on the South Side and in Chicago in general, some will be without this holiday,” Coleman said to WGN-TV. “Some are without their fathers due to gun violence, due to mass incarceration, so today, we are here being a blessing.”

Last week, Kanye West revealed that he plans to convert all his residences into churches.

I’m going to be homeless in a year,” he said during an interview with O32c magazine. “I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches. We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go.”

Kanye added, “It should be like an artist commune. Food should always be available.”

Ye feels it’s time for society to evolve. “We are under capitalist rule, and it’s killing us,” he said. “It’s time to change that.”

Cardi B Defends Bobby Shmurda Dancing On Social Media

Over the last few weeks, many social media users had negative things to say about Bobby Shmurda’s tendency to post Instagram videos of himself dancing. Fellow New York native Cardi B came to Shmurda’s defense.

“Y’all really be trying Bobby cause he be dancing and no lie when I used to do visits in Rikers Bobby & Rowdy were always in OBC solitary confinement cause they [were] really getting it rockin 👊🏼,” tweeted Cardi.

The Invasion of Privacy album creator continued, “Them boys ain’t punked out in jail really stood on their s###. 😤 Unlike a lot of rappers.”

https://www.instagram.com/p/CXSZjM-gRiK/

Bobby Shmurda qualified for a conditional release from New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility state prison on February 23, 2021. He took a plea deal in 2016 after being charged with conspiracy and weapons possession.

The now-27-year-old rapper broke onto the national scene with the 2014 single “Hot N####” which peaked at #6 on the Hot 100 chart. The song went viral partly because of the Brooklynite’s so-called “Shmoney” dance featured in the music video.

One Twitter user quoted Cardi B’s tweet about Bobby Shmurda by adding, “[Shmurda’s] living his best life.” Cardi responded to the person by stating, “Exactly he’s happy a#######!! Full of life!!! HE DID 7 years in f###### jail. Celebrate freedom [every day] and however the f### you want to do it!!!”

The “Whatever You Like” rapper and his non-profit organization, Harris Community Works were filled with the holiday spirit as T.I personally handed out gifts across Atlanta.

“I’m proud to be able to give back to people who need it most. I’m honored to be an instrument and a vessel for good. It’s a blessing to be a blessing.” said T.I.

Day one began with a lunch at the Trap Music Museum for his Next Level Boys Academy hosted by Papa Johns. The academy works with young men and aims to keep them out of the criminal justice system with programs also available to first-time offenders.

Next, T.I visited the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta- Egleston Hospital where he met with children and handed out hundreds of toys.

Finally, T.I and his caravan pulled up on the recent graduates of DeKalb County Accountability Courts. The rapper met with the graduates who completed an alternative sentencing program to help them stay out of prison. He presented them with Walmart gift cards to assist with their reentry into society.

T.I also handed out gift bags containing limited edition custom t-shirts with the quote, “If your heart filled with faith then you cannot fear,” a lyric from his song “No Matter What.”

T.I On His Final Album

The self-proclaimed “King of the South” revealed why he refers to himself that way.

“I think two things happened, I made others aware that it was okay to say you were king,” T.I said. “I might have been the first to say it out loud…if that can plant the seed for others after me to now feel that they’re king, that’s exactly what prompted me to do it.”

Fatlip of Pharcyde Performs At Tradecraft Farms’ Skid Row Xmas & Reveals Group Getting Back Together

It’s officially Christmas time in Los Angeles, which means it’s time to get festive!

During a time where the cannabis industry has taken over the market, it’s only right to combine forces with the elites in music to give back to their community.

On Saturday, December 18th, Fatlip from Pharcyde and IDK took the stage at the annual Skid Row Xmas, a live concert hosted by Tradecraft Farms and High Times Delivery to benefit the homeless population in Los Angeles.

Skid Row Xmas is the brainchild of cannabis entrepreneurs Dub Brothers, consisting of Barry Walker and Brent Walker.

Both being Los Angeles natives, they made it their duty to help their community in the city, even hosting a yearly Gobble Gobble Give initiative which fed over 30,000 people on Thanksgiving Day in 12 cities across the States.

The goal is to always give back to those in need, with all proceeds going to donations and supplies to the less fortunate.

The evening consisted of raffles, prizes, and nothing but good energy, as Fatlip represented for the old school hip-hop fans and IDK represented for the new school.

Moments before speaking with AllHipHop, Fatlip had wrapped his DJ set and short performance of two Pharcyde classics: “Passin Me By” and “Runnin’.”

Fatlip stated, “It’s a dope event. I know them through some friends of friends, some really good friends. My homegirl Mariana Jorge, she hit me up. It was a last minute thing. When she tells me to f### with somebody…. so it was dope. I met everybody. They told me the office used to be on Skid Row and they’re doing a lot of philanthropy stuff. It’s a good vibe.”

In reality, Fatlip has been DJing way before he started rapping.

“I like both because I’ve been doing them both at the same,” he says. “I started deejaying, really before I started rapping. But for different reasons, I like to deejay sometimes because I don’t have to do it with a group. I don’t have to write or nothing like that. I love to see people partying, dancing and s###. I really be planning it out in my mind, sometimes it goes right, sometimes it doesn’t. So when it goes right…”

Additionally, Fatlip’s #1 priority is trying to stay happy. He also revealed his former group, Pharcyde, came back together for the most part, with three out of four members reuniting.

“It feels cool. It feels good, because those were my friends before the rapping. So we re-established our friendship, and that feels really good because there was a point when I said ‘they’re not even invited to my funeral.’ But it was all in my head. What did Big Sean say? ‘A conversation can save a nation’.”

Fatlip also reveals there is new music on the horizon, and that he’s been doing features this whole time!

“We have a project coming out in April, it’s the 30th anniversary for the first album. We’re still alive. Hip hop is still alive, so that feels great. I got to be honest, when we was doing it back then, I had no idea that hip hop was gonna be where it’s at.”

Fatlip views Hip-Hop as an established art form, just like acting or painting.

He added, “The players, you got the big dogs like Kanye, Jay-Z who have taken it and continued to make music, but also elevating business and that only gives the culture more value. It’s universal.”

Tradecraft CEO Barry Walker also spoke on the fourth/fifth annual SKid Row Xmas.

“It feels good because the secret is, I get way more out of this than I put in. When we’re handing things, tents or sleeping bags, warm clothing to the homeless tonight in five minutes, it’s a selfish act because I get so much out of it. This is a great way to do it. I’m so happy it mixes with our company Christmas party, I love seeing all my people here.

Speaking on getting Pharcyde involved, he said, “Oh my goodness! That’s like a long dream from a long time ago. Very blessed and never met him before, what a great guy. I feel better about the friendship now, I really enjoyed the performance.”

Latto Launches Non-Profit During First Christmas Extravaganza To Help At-Risk Young Women

Atlanta native Latto is a grown woman doing grown things.

Fans might want to keep her as the little girl that won the first season of Jermaine Dupri’s “Rap Game,” but they would be mistaken.

She is a brand, an empire, and a force unto herself. And now, the platinum-selling recording artist is giving back through her new non-profit, the Win Some Give Some Foundation.

This holiday season, the organization teamed up with local Clayton County organization Rainbow House to host the first annual “Latto 4 The Ladies & Babies” Christmas party at the Virginia Gray Burton Recreation Center.

Rainbow House is a private, non-profit corporation operating Rainbow House Emergency Shelter for Children and Rainbow Connection Child Advocacy and Assessment Center.

Families were treated to a little bit of holiday cheer as they were given all kinds of gift to make the upcoming season even more special.

Teens, young mothers, and their children in attendance had meals prepared for them. Attendees were gifted toys; free skating passes, stocking stuffers, and all kinds of goodies.

An extra special treat was money they received via Visa gift cards.

Latto founded the non-profit Win Some Give Some to empower young women at risk. She provides them with resources and support to achieve a lifetime of success.
