Kodak Black In 90-Day Treatment Program After Violating Probation

Kodak Black reportedly violated his probation, resulting in a 90-day stint in a treatment program.

According to TMZ, the Florida native failed a drug test. This was a violation of his supervised release in a federal gun case.

Kodak Black’s failed drug test prompted a hearing this week. Court records reveal a judge ordered him to spend 90 days in a residential treatment program.

In January, Kodak Black was released from prison after former President Donald Trump pardoned the controversial rapper. The Atlantic Records artist pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges and was sentenced to nearly four years behind bars in 2019.

“Kodak Black was sentenced to 46 months in prison for making a false statement on a Federal document,” a White House statement read. “He has served nearly half of his sentence. Before his conviction and after reaching success as a recording artist, Kodak Black became deeply involved in numerous philanthropic efforts.

“In fact, he has committed to supporting a variety of charitable efforts, such as providing educational resources to students and families of fallen law enforcement officers and the underprivileged. In addition to these efforts, he has paid for the notebooks of school children, provided funding and supplies to daycare centers, provided food for the hungry, and annually provides for underprivileged children during Christmas.”

A few months after getting out of prison, Kodak Black dropped a project titled Haitian Boy Kodak. It peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard 200 in May.

Yeezy Gap Hoodie Drops; Fans React With Mixed Emotions

The Yeezy Gap hoodies are here and they are … basically … hoodies.

Well, they are also colorful and expensive.

The long-anticipated drop of Kanye West’s clothing line with Gap, one that has projected him into billionaire conversations, are on sale now.

And the lackluster release has been labeled, “The Perfect Hoodie” can be yours for $90 (and your shorty for $70).

The six different hoodies are distinguished by colors ranging from black, brown, and mustard (they are calling it yellow-beige), a magenta purple, red, and classic blue.

They are unisex in style and are sized for both adults and children. The double-layered 100% cotton garment is marketed as being cozy and having a ‘Ye look and feel.

But what is the hood saying?

“I’m judging u if u buy a yeezy gap hoodie for $90,” says one person definitely not buying the sweatshirt.

Someone else hit Black Twitter with “The yeezy gap hoodie is regular as hell”

Aaron declared that Yeezy is out his Chiraq-ing people. #ShoutOutToChicago #WeSeeYallStillHustling

“$90 for a yeezy/gap hoodie? this is robbery”

Others are just calling it for what it seems to be …

“Dealership asking me if I need Yeezy Gap insurance like I don’t know that’s a scam”

But clearly no one cares as reports claim that the release is almost sold out.

While these prices might seem a little steep, they are cheaper than the “Donda,” “Jesus is King,” and “Sunday Service” merch he sells on his tours that starts at almost $200 for sweatshirts.

And his Donda-inspired jeans are going for $1800.

Kanye knows how to get to the bag. As reported by AllHipHop.com, he made almost $7 million for in-person merchandise sales from the Donda listening parties and grossed between $1.5 million to $2.7 million each night.

To purchase the hoodies that look really comfortable (if they are still available upon your reading), you must be local to the continental United States and territories.

Cam Wallace- “Deez Boyz’

Continuing his ‘Three Perfect Moment’s EP campaign, Houston native Cam Wallace has released the visual to fan-favorite cut “Deez Boyz.”

Following the explosive remix for “Retail” with Wiz Khalifa as well as his soul-bearing reintroduction on “We Made It,” the Derell Boson-directed small screen interpretation of the Vincent Macauly-produced track captures the triple threat talent in his natural element; illuminated by the city lights.

Raised on the Northside, Cameron “Cam” Wallace is a seasoned songwriter and producer-turned-emcee. Perfecting his craft day in and day out he landed first major production credit in 2016 by way of Beyonce’s Jay-Z-assisted banger “Upgrade U.” The high-profile achievement was soon followed by placements with Jeezy, B.o.B, Omarion, Justine Skye, Chris Brown, Yelawolf, Rock City, and Lecrae.

The following year he executive produced Slim Thug‘s ‘The World Is Yours’ album. Watch the HD-clip for “Deez Boyz” below, and stream ‘These Perfect Moments’ in its entirety.

Who Will Busta Rhymes Verzuz With?

For the longest time, people have pondered who should battle with Busta Rhymes? There have been numerous incarnations of this conversation. Remember for a second, Bussa Buss called out T.I. for a battle and Tip brushed it off. It got super tense with those two. But, in T.I.’s defense, their entry in the game has about 10 years difference. You guys know Verzuz, now owned by Triller, regularly turns away potential Verzuz battles, right? I do not know how active Tim and Swizz are at this point, but they definitely have declined on some battles I thought would be hot. Also, now that The Lox/Dip Set battle has changed the tone, we are in Hip-Hop mode for real.

KRS-One and Big Daddy Kane have set up their own Verzuz, but I guess the powers that be are not interested in that one. In their defense, most people want Kane and Rakim. So…some have mentioned RS-One and Busta. I think this is good, but I know they are selling this to wide audiences, not only Hip-Hop. Also, some have lumped KRS-1 in the old school category, but he is still out here killing it! Busta’s career started in the early 90s but reached a high point last year when he dropped ELE2. I think Verzuz is looking for a Busta match-up, but bro really has no peer. Seems like Missy Elliot comes up a lot, but you then lose that hardcore Hip-Hop bout we know they want. KRS-One is perfect, but I suspect they want somebody more “pop” right now. Luda and Redman have already done one and some of the others are rappers that do not have the long-term relevance like Busta.

WHO DO YOU THINK BUSTA SHOULD BATTLE?

What Did NBA YoungBoy Do From Prison To Take Drake’s #1 Spot on Billboard?

Forget making good music, it is said by some that the top ways to race up the charts as a rapper is to die (God forbid), start a beef, act a fool in public or go to jail. At least three of those things can be said about NBA YoungBoy, who is set to nab that #1 spot on Billboard, even as he is sitting in a St. Bernard Parish prison.

But maybe none of that is true …

The Louisiana native’s new release “Sincerely Kentrell” dropped and it is projected to sell between 135,000 and 155,000 units in its first week. When this happens, this will be the biggest album debut of his career. The 21-track project is unique because there are no features on it at all. But what did he do to achieve this milestone?

Sure, it is easy to look at his massive headlines that seem to tidal wave Hip-Hop media. He has a lot of children. He plays with guns. He is locked up. He turns up in jail. The list goes on. These things have probably help substantially. But perhaps his team, unlike many other rappers, are out here hustling.

He and his team have been heavy on the promotion, even without his core social media (Twitter, IG, FB), releasing a series of four videos for songs from the project.

“Life Support”

“On My Side”

“Break Or Make Me”

“Kickstand”

Earlier this week, AllHipHop.com reported that the 21-year-old chart topper’s attorney complained that YouTube was not supporting the project or pushing the content they were posting. He took to his InstaStory to say, “YouTube told us they can’t promote YB because of his image (laughing with tears emoji) weak ass platform. Your #1 artist 3 years in a row.”

It seems that YoungBoy NeverBrokeAgain didn’t need the extra promotion. His team is on it. And his fans are faithful to him. They are just as much responsible for creating awareness as the team is.

Perhaps, all the news about him asking Biden to get him out of jail and his mystery child was all the media fever he needed to drive the project. It could also be, he drops bangers — which dismisses the entire “do negative to get the light.”

AllHipHop.com reported earlier today that “Sincerely Kentrell” will end Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy’s” three-week streak at the top of the charts. If he does, this is a feat that no other rapper has been able to do. Not even, Kanye! This gives us the answer, hardwork makes hits!

Ari Lennox Addresses Social Media Users Pitting Her Against Other Black Women

Ari Lennox is one of the brightest up-and-coming R&B stars at the moment. The Dreamville recording artist is part of a generation made up of other talented performers like Chlöe, Normani, and Summer Walker.

Apple Music 1’s Dotty caught up with Ari Lennox for a conversation. The Dotty Show interview included Lennox reflecting on some music fans’ tendency to pit Black female artists against each other.

“You think you’re lifting me up, but you’re actually causing havoc. You’re causing divisiveness between me and another beautiful fellow Black artist,” said Ari Lennox. “I want everyone to win and I’m doing my own thing and Chlöe’s doing her own thing. And I feel like there’s room for all of these things in this industry.”

The “Pressure” vocalist added, “I’m enjoying what everyone else is doing, but I’m also focused on just being grateful and being content where I’m at. Because I know it’s special and I know there’s a special place for it. And it’s so much more peaceful that way to just be grateful. At the end of the day, I am making a living off of my dreams and I couldn’t be happier. What else do I need more in life?”

Earlier this month, Ari Lennox responded to someone on social media who argued that Chlöe’s new single “Have Mercy” has more YouTube views than “Pressure” because of light-skinned privilege. Lennox pushed back on that take.

“Please delete that hateful think piece. It’s negative and counterproductive and creating unnecessary backlash for both Black women. Chlöe and her music video [are] legendary and on REPEAT over here. ‘Pressure’ is doing just fine,” posted the Washington, DC native.

Ari Lennox Talks Working With Jermaine Dupri On “Pressure”

“Pressure” hit DSPs on September 10. Johntá Austin and Jai’Len Josey helped pen the lyrics. The track was produced by ELITE, Bryan Michael Cox, and Jermaine Dupri. Dotty asked Ari Lennox about working with the legendary JD on the song.

“It was a dream. It was very intimidating at first because I’m a big fan of his entire catalog, specifically Mariah Carey’s The Emancipation of Mimi. They have an incredible work relationship,” replied Ari Lennox. “And so I was very intimidated, but we just fell into it because he started making this beautiful beat and it was probably one of the third beats that we had worked on.”

She continued, “I could hear it in his headphones and I was like, ‘That one.’ And Johnta started writing to it and I started writing to it. Then we sat with it for some weeks. Then we got back in the studio. Then I called my girl up, Jai’Len, who’s a phenomenal singer, phenomenal songwriter. And she came up to the studio and she finished it for us and she murdered it.”

Ashanti Talks Owning Her Masters & Plans To Re-Record Her Debut Album

R&B singer Ashanti experienced a career revival over the last year. She was tapped as a featured guest on tracks by contemporary rappers such as DaBaby, Moneybagg Yo, and Joyner Lucas.

Ashanti also got the chance to celebrate her own musical legacy by taking part in a record-breaking Verzuz event with Keyshia Cole. Next year, the New York native will receive a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Talk show host Tamron Hall spoke to Ashanti this week. The televised conversation included the Grammy winner talking about owning her master recordings for her self-titled debut studio album.

“It’s so surreal. I have an amazing legal team, and I got my first record deal when I was 14 years old,” said Ashanti. “So understanding and seeing how things have changed so much from then to now and conceptually understanding what you’re signing is so imperative. It’s so important nowadays.”

Ashanti added, “The fact that I’ll be able to re-record my first album, and put everything together.” According to Tamron Hall, the former Island Def Jam recording artist will re-release Ashanti as an independent artist.

The Ashanti album originally dropped in 2002. It hosts the Hot 100 #1 song “Foolish” as well as the Top 20 hits “Happy” and “Baby.” Ashanti’s first studio LP is certified 3x-Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Chuck D Offers An Apology For His Comments About R. Kelly’s Conviction

Robert Sylvester Kelly (aka R. Kelly) was convicted on nine federal counts. A federal jury in New York found the R&B singer/songwriter guilty of the racketeering-related charges of sexual exploitation of children, forced labor, and Mann Act violations.

After news of the conviction broke, social media users shared their thoughts about R. Kelly facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to life in prison. Hip Hop legend Chuck D was among the people to comment on the subject.

“Abused in his youth… an addict as [an] adult… Ike Turner served 18 months in prison… Rick James did similar time. Ike came out a changed positive human being. How long should R. Kelly spend in prison – and does a USA system give a man a chance for a man to change his world around?” tweeted Chuck D on Tuesday.

Social Media Users Question The Intent Of Chuck D’s Tweet About R. Kelly

Chuck D’s statement was met with backlash as some critics took issue with the Public Enemy member discussing redemption for a convicted sex criminal that had not even been sentenced yet.

SNY reporter Chris Williamson replied to Chuck D’s tweet by posting, “Asking this sincerely my brotha, what made you feel this was necessary to tweet out given all that we know about Robert’s disgusting crimes and his lack of remorse?”

Chuck D answered, “You could take 80% of endorsed financed culture hijacked by the urban excuses. Adults have their world but the urban radio stations BET clearly stated their target audiences across [the] USA was 12-19 Black youth. 1990-2015. Check the songs and what was inside. For 25 years.”

Detroit Metro Times editor Alex Washington tweeted, “R. Kelly married an underage girl in 1995 when he was a 27-year-old man. It is the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-one. His pattern continued and worsened and you want us to give him a chance for change? This the hill you want to [die] on?”

Washington was referring to R. Kelly secretly marrying the late Aaliyah when she was only 15 years old. That illegal relationship with his then-protégé was brought up during Kelly’s trial in Brooklyn. R. Kelly produced Aaliyah’s first album which was titled Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number.

Chuck D responded to Washington, “Twitter is cryptic where [were] people when every other song was revealing evidence of what was ok to program to Black kids over radio? All you gotta do is read the titles the past 25 years of Black songs and you get clues. His labels & radio knew what they [were] feeding.”

Chuck D Tweets An Apology

Multiple people pointed out that R. Kelly was allegedly engaging in sex with underage girls as far back as the 1990s and he should be held accountable for the pain he caused his victims.

Apparently, the negative reactions to Chuck D’s tweet about R. Kelly possibly being rehabilitated caused the 61-year-old rapper to return to Twitter six hours later and offer a mea culpa.

“JUST TO BE CLEAR, I’m not the R. Kelly fan here. 75 million sold somewhere & I ain’t got 1 of his songs. And his actions were criminal, my apologies if the wings of perception loomed beyond than the words on this slave App,” tweeted Chuck D on Tuesday night.

R. Kelly Still Faces More Federal Charges In Another State

R. Kelly was found guilty of racketeering and predicate acts in New York, including illegal sex with minors, sexual exploitation of minors, bribery, coercion, and forced labor. The self-described Pied Piper of R&B was also federally indicted on child pornography and obstruction charges in Illinois.

“Today’s guilty verdict forever brands R. Kelly as a predator, who used his fame and fortune to prey on the young, the vulnerable, and the voiceless for his own sexual gratification,” stated Jacquelyn M. Kasulis, Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York on September 27.

Kasulis continued, “A predator who used his inner circle to ensnare underage teenage girls, and young women and men, for decades, in a sordid web of sex abuse, exploitation and degradation. To the victims in this case, your voices were heard, and justice was finally served. We hope that today’s verdict brings some measure of comfort and closure to the victims.”

Idris Elba Trending Again, Could We See a Black James Bond?

Idris Elba began trending yesterday (September 28) as fans once again raised their hopes that the British actor could become the next James Bond. The conversation as to whether Idris could be the first Black man to play Bond was reignited recently as Daniel Craig’s time playing the role of the British secret agent comes to an end.

The latest film in the long-running franchise, “No Time To Die” is slated for release on October 8, and fans of the movies are eagerly anticipating who the next leading man will be.

However, they’re going to have to be patient as Barbara Broccoli, long-time Bond producer, isn’t even considering it until at least next year.

Speaking in a recent interview she explained, “We want Daniel to have his time of celebration. Next year we’ll start thinking about the future.”

While newer names like “Bridgerton’ star Regé-Jean Page have been touted as potential replacements, Idris Elba, who played the role of Stringer Bell in “The Wire,” has long been a fan favorite. Reports of Idris taking on the role and becoming the first-ever Black 007 emerged in 2014. Then, in 2018, producer Broccoli told “The Daily Star,” “It is about time a Black actor is the next James Bond.”

However, Idris Elba has expressed mixed feelings about the prospect of taking on the role fearing a racist backlash if the role was played by a Black man.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2019, Idris explained: “James Bond is a hugely coveted, iconic, beloved character.

“Of course, if someone said to me ‘Do you want to play James Bond?,’ I’d be like, Yeah! That’s fascinating to me. But it’s not something I’ve expressed, like, yeah, I wanna be the Black James Bond.”

Heartbreakingly, Idris hinted at the anxiety he felt about playing the character on the big screen: “You just get disheartened when you get people from a generational point of view going, ‘It can’t be.’ And it really turns out to be the color of my skin.

“And then if I get it and it didn’t work, or it did work, would it be because of the color of my skin? That’s a difficult position to put myself into when I don’t need to.”

Black British actresses and stars of the film Naomie Harris and Lashana Lynch appeared at yesterday’s premiere in London.

Artists Skepta, Dave, and Stormzy appeared at the premiere in a display of Black British excellence.

Drake’s ‘CLB’ & NBA YoungBoy’s ‘Sincerely, Kentrell’ Compete In A Tight Race For No. 1

Will Drake’s Certified Lover Boy remain the #1 album in America for a fourth straight week? The OVO Sound leader is currently in close competition with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the top spot.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Certified Lover Boy is on pace to rack up 132,000 units in week four. NBA YoungBoy’s Sincerely, Kentrell is projected to move 131,000 units in its first week of release.

If NBA YoungBoy is able to surpass Drake in album sales this week, the 21-year-old rhymer would earn his fourth #1 on the Billboard 200. He previously topped the chart with 2019’s AI YoungBoy 2, 2020’s 38 Baby 2, and 2020’s Top.

Certified Lover Boy debuted at #1 with 613,000 album-equivalent units. Drake also dominated the Hot 100 singles chart by placing nine songs in the Top 10.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again let loose Sincerely, Kentrell as a feature-free project. The 21-track effort came out while the Baton Rouge native is incarcerated.

Last year, the rapper born Kentrell Gaulden was among 16 people taken into custody in Louisiana on weapons and drug charges. Then FBI agents arrested NBA YoungBoy in March 2021. He pled not guilty to two federal weapons charges.

Boosie Mad at Instagram, Seems to Take Shots at CEO’s Wife “what were u thinking”

Boosie has a long-running feud with Instagram. It seems like every month the social media platform deactivates his account for violating the rules, Boosie has a little rant about it, but it always seems to work out for him in the end.

Well, according to Boosie, Instagram deleted his account again and it’s all because he was trying to promote his new biopic, “My Struggle.” He took to Twitter yesterday (September 28) to go on a tirade, venting his frustrations at the social media giant.

Suggesting that he’s being targeted Boosie tweeted:

“MY IG WAS TAKEN FOR NOTHING AGAIN. THEY MUST HAVE FOUND OUT I HAVE A FILM THAT IM PROMOTING. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BUY MY FILM DESPITE THIS MOVE TO STOP THE SUCCESS OF MY STRUGGLE. Y’ALL ALL I GOT AGAINST THESE POWERFUL PEOPLE. BUY IT TWICE TO BOOST MY FIRST WEEK NUMBERS THANKS.”

He wasn’t happy that this all happened the week his project drops when he needs his Instagram to promote and accused Instagram of “u messing with my me n my family”

He then appeared to mess with Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram’s wife, firing off a series of insulting tweets.

Appearing to confirm he was indeed referring to Adam Mosseri’s wife and making sure Adam knew he was sending shots he named him saying, “CEO of ig what were u thinking when u saw her Adam.”

Adam Mosseri addressed the social media platform’s issue with Boosie in an interview with “The Breakfast Club” back in July saying:

“You’ve gotta draw the line somewhere. It’s a nudity policy. We try to be clear. You can appeal but if you get too many strikes, something will happen… There are things where we just have to draw the line or define a rule that is practical.”

Well, it looks like Boosie is interested in doing something next time Adam goes on the show tweeting “NEXT TIME YOU GO TO BREAKFAST CLUB IM ………………. BET”

It’s unlikely to be the last time Boosie gets into it with Instagram but for now, he’s diverted his fury to his fans. Well, the ones who want to take pics with him yet bootleg his movie. “NO SUPPORT NO PICTURE #imfsir”

Westside Gunn Reveals More Details of Shady Records Split

Back in November 2020, Westside Gunn announced on “The Joe Budden Podcast” that he had parted ways with Eminem’s Shady Records imprint.  There had already been rumblings of a split when WSG tweeted back in November 2020, “I’m not f##### wit none of them n##### no more.”

A week later, Gunn appeared on “The Joe Budden Podcast” and confirmed the rumors saying, “I’m off Shady. I’m actually a free agent.”

Now, The Buffalo emcee spoke exclusively to “HipHopDX” giving further details about the split and admitted that the reason he went on “The Joe Budden Podcast” was to make the announcement.

“I actually wanted to do that interview just to say that,” he said. “Once I knew that the deal was done, I had already signed the paperwork and it was official, I’m like, ‘I got to make the announcement.’ But I mean, shout out to Paul [Rosenberg], shout out to Shady. It’s all love, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, it’s all love. Conway [The Machine] still has an album left over there that we have to drop and release, so it’s still all love.

“But it was just like one of those situations where it’s time for me to move on. It’s chapters in life. That’s why people move, dip out of town for different cultures and different experiences. And it’s the same thing for me.”

However, Westside Gunn isn’t salty; he appreciates the time he spent at Shady Records and takes pride in the work he did during his time there.

“I had my time over there and it was all love, it was all good,” he continued. “You know we dropped What Would Chine Gun Do (WWCD), I dropped Who Made The Sunshine and it was all good. But it was just like, ‘OK, I’m a boss.’ I was a boss before that deal, you see what I’m saying? Like, I was already the owner of Griselda Records before I did that deal.

“I was already making noise before I did that deal. That’s why we even did the partnership in the first place. It wasn’t just like I came out of thin air. I already had murals painted of me and people tattooing me, people crazy.”

This Thursday Westside Gunn will be performing at Radio City Musical Hall alongside Erykah Badu and Questlove.

Next week is about to be crazy. The Hip-Hop Pop-Up museum experience in DC is putting on an honorary event that is going to shake up the world. On October 8, they are going to be honoring Pete Rock, Nice & Smooth, DJ Kid Capri, Kool Moe Dee, and Rakim. Others such as Quan and even Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and Grouchy Greg of AllHipHop will be present.

Hip-Hop Museum in Washington DC is doing a great job with assembling this esteemed cast of characters in the culture. But, there is a rumor that a luminary of unprecedented respect will surprise the attendees. Right now, I am unable to specify who will be there, but I can tell you that if you are talking pioneers, it does not get much higher than this individual. Get your tickets here! And that is pretty much all I can say!

Rest assured this gallery is open to the public seven days a week and will continue to honor the Greats In Hip-Hop. They are already moving on to the next event that will literally shake things up even more. But, until then:

In the meantime, check out this video promoting the event. It’s centers on Pete Rock, and really gives you a reminder that there should be no ages them in hip-hop. Pete Rock is still doing it to this day and that means he’s got a tenure of over 25 years in the game. But, more importantly, this event will be a true way to honor the goats of our culture without a stigma attached to it. All real!

Kodak Black Proposes Sober Challenge Over Milk Crates

Florida rapper Kodak Black, a young man that has had his share of run-ins with the law, is now talking about sobriety and how it will enhance one’s life.

Fans tuned in to hear him unpack how drugs and alcohol can destroy futures, and while he is an unlikely character to have this conversation — he might be the best one that this generation can ask for.

The Haitian chart-topper appeared on his lawyer’s Instagram while they were in a Broward County courtroom and showed the devastating effects of narcotics on all kinds of people.

His message was that abuse has no color or socio-economic limits.

A post shared by Bradford Cohen (@lawronin)

Kodak Black’s attorney Bradford Cohen captioned, “Kodak speaks to a Broward Courtroom of individuals dealing with addiction problems. He speaks about his own battles and issues and the things he feels are important to a sober life. I believe this is all part of the process of healing. There are missteps along the way, but people should always realize that the first step is wanting to get better.”

The sound was not recorded. However, Cohen reported what was being said.

“Sorry about the sound but he says that addiction affects white black poor and rich and he realizes that it has affected his relationships and business in the past and he knows that a sober life is one that is better and healthier,” he wrote.

“Our community should embrace a #soberchallenge before some milk crates….realize what is important in your life, it’s not social media,” Kodak Black said, according to Cohen.

Kodak has had some issues with drugs in the past, but they were associated with marijuana use. There are no reports of him being on anything harder.

We hope that speaking out about issues is a new change for the rapper.

Bill Cosby Believes R. Kelly Was “Railroaded” By Justice System

R. Kelly has found a sympathizer in Bill Cosby.

After R. Kelly was convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking in New York on Monday, Bill Cosby’s spokesman Andrew Wyatt discussed the verdict in an interview with TMZ. Wyatt says his client believes Kelly was wronged by the criminal justice system.

“We talked about it today and the first thing he said was, ‘Look, the guy was railroaded,’” Cosby’s spokesman told TMZ. “As he said, Gloria Allred did the same thing that she did with him. You parade women out and you stir up the public sentiment to go against him. And that’s what they did to R. Kelly.”

Earlier this year, Bill Cosby was released from prison after his sexual assault conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The Cosby Show star was serving time for three felony counts of aggravated indecent assault, but the court said he was denied protection against self-incrimination in the case.

Bill Cosby’s spokesman claims his client and R. Kelly have been targeted due to their fame and success.

“What we see in America today with R. Kelly is an assault on Black men,” Wyatt contended. “This is an assault on successful Black men who are doing great things.”

Bill Cosby’s spokesman also suggests R. Kelly will eventually get out of prison on appeal.

“I see R. Kelly having a strong case on appeal,” he said. “I think when he gets to appellate court and when he gets to the highest court in the land, I think we’ll see a conviction overturned.”

R. Kelly will be sentenced on May 4, 2022. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years and the possibility of life in prison.

The disgraced singer is awaiting another trial for federal child pornography and obstruction charges in Illinois. State-level sexual misconduct charges have been brought against him in Illinois and Minnesota.

Williamsburg Dog Park Karen Apologizes To Black Couple After Getting Fired From Her Job

In a case of “You Gonna Learn Today,” a white Brooklyn woman has recently lost her job because she told a Black couple to “go back to their hood.”

Now, only days after the event was posted online, the unemployed Emma “Sorry” Sarley is singing a whole different tune and asking if the two will accept her apology.

Sorry Sarley aka the Williamsburg Dog Park Karen snapped at the couple while they were in the dog park that she thought was only for people that looked like her.

Author Frederick Joseph filmed Sarley’s attack on him and his fiancée, one that she said had no “racial overtones” when uttered. He later posted the video on the platform on Sunday and by the start of the week, she was terminated from her employment.

Here is her statement that she released to the press. In it, Sarley said she had no “racial undertones in my comments whatever” when she confronted Joseph and his fiancée at McCarren Park in Williamsburg.

She also said she realized she was wrong, saying “how I could have handled things differently.”

“As the owners of this dog were leaving, I suggested that they keep a handle on their dog while visiting this particular park,” she said. “My reference to ‘back to your hood’ only referred to another dog park outside of this neighborhood park.”

Sarley finally resolved, “I fully understand how my words could’ve been interpreted and I deeply wish I had chosen them more carefully. A brief and thoughtless moment in my life has now led to nationwide outrage and hurt. For that, I am sorry.”

“As the dog owners followed me down the street with the phone camera on, I was filled with some panic because I’ve never been in an altercation like this and reacted in an inappropriate way. That’s what you witnessed on that tape,” she tried to justify.

“I’ve lived in New York City for a decade, my Brooklyn neighborhood and dog park is extremely diverse, something I truly love about this city, and I never meant for my words to contribute to pain for anyone. I truly hope we can find understanding and a peaceful resolution to this, for everyone involved.”

Joseph responded to the pushback for posting the event, “While it’s unfortunate that she had to lose her job, I do think that this brings up an important conversation about accountability, especially in a country where Black and Brown people, marginalized people as a whole, have seen so little of it.”

“I hope Emma learns from this. I hope other people learn from this who engage in abusive, racist, and destructive behavior,” he shared. “Because ultimately, whether Emma lost her job or not, doesn’t take away the trauma that my fiancé and I have. It doesn’t take away the feeling of feeling like anything racist can happen anywhere.”

Joseph also said he was getting death threats from kinds of people, “If she respected us or Black people as a whole, not only would she not have done as she did – she would have attempted to apologize. People should consider within themselves why there is such normalization of racist behavior.”

[VIDEO] Jadakiss Shows How Much Respect He Has For Cordae And Naomi Osaka!

Jadakiss has risen to the top like only a few have in this pandemic existence we are in right now. But, now it is stepping up even more. Somehow, one of the grimiest street rappers came into the presence of dainty Naomi Osaka! Naomi Osaka is the peerless tennis star of the here and the now! Only Serena Williams comes close, in my opinion! Anyway, the two superstars came into each other’s graces and it was over the top and became a viral moment!

What’s funny is Jadakiss gave her supreme respect but also gave her boyfriend rapper Cordae his respect too. Jadakiss passed on a hug with the cutie out of apparent respect for Cordae, prompting all to give him respect for giving respect! And so there it is. Mainstream media picks up on it and it becomes a moment that is actually quite common in our community. I’ma at least get a side-hug!

She’s looking at him like…”Can you hug me?”

By the way, I am still waiting for a new Jadakiss album because he can still do the unthinkable this year and give us some of that 1990s real hip-hop. We have a lot of rappers in the present day giving us that feel, but not the actual artists that were there. At any rate, let’s go!
