Marlon Wayans Announces Family’s Return To “Scary Movie” Franchise After 18-Year Hiatus

Marlon Wayans has announced that the Wayans brothers will be making their return to the Scary Movie franchise after nearly two decades.

In a tweet he shared on Tuesday (October 29), the White Chicks star shared his excitement for he and his sibling’s return to the film franchise in a tweet that has already garnered over eight million views. Along with the message in the tweet, Marlon shared an image of himself posing with the film’s iconic Ghostface figure sticking his tongue out, seemingly referencing the infamous scene where he and the villain engaged in the hilarious “wassup” scene.

“WE’RE BACK!!!” Marlon Wayans exclaimed in the tweet. “After nearly 20 years, the Wayans brothers are finally going to give the fans what they’ve been asking for… a return to the SCARY MOVIE franchise! We’re looking forward to having fun on the big screen again.”

Overall, the Wayans’ family has played a significant role in the rise of the Scary Movie franchise. Marlon and Shawn Wayans first appeared in the film franchise upon the release of the original Scary Movie in 2000. In the inaugural parody horror-comedy, Marlon played Shorty Meeks, and Shawn played Ray Wilkins. Both characters were fan favorites, leading the brothers to reprise their roles in Scary Movie 2, released in 2001. Additionally, Keenen Ivory Wayans directed both of the first two films and Craig Wayans made a cameo in Scary Movie 2 as one of the students who accompany the main cast to the haunted mansion. After this second installment, Marlon and Shawn did not return for further sequels over creative differences. However, during his recent interview with Shannon Sharpe for his Club Shay Shay Podcast, Marlon accused disgraced film executive Harvey Weinstein and his brother Bob of stealing the Wayans’ idea for Scary Movie 3. According to Marlon, things went south after Weinstein and his Miramax company fielded their pitch for the third installment of the film and proceeded to lowball them with an offer for it.

“They go, ‘We love it. We’re going to make an offer,’” he recalled. But the Weinsteins’ offer was “what we made on the first one.”

Marlon went on to say that he believes the fall from grace Weinstein experienced during the “Me Too” movement was divine payback for how he wronged the Wayans family.

“Sometimes you ain’t gotta do nothing because God’s gonna do it all — God’s revenge,” he said. “When God come for you, you gotta trust God. You don’t retaliate, vengeance is mine. They took Miramax, his company…. Then they had the Weinstein Co. and then all this stuff started going down with the rape allegations and they took that company, too.”

He added, “I always say, they didn’t just rape and m##### women, they raped n###as too. Molested us in them deals. They were terrible people.”

Watch the portion of Marlon’s recent interview with Sharpe during which he speaks at length about the situation with Weinstein and his company Miramax amid the release of Scary Movie 3.

Drake & Chris Brown Accused Of Stealing “No Guidance” In $5M Lawsuit

Drake and Chris Brown were hit with a $5 million lawsuit over their 2019 single “No Guidance.” According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Tykeiya Dore and Marc Stephens sued multiple defendants for copyright infringement in New Jersey on October 25.

The plaintiffs claimed Drake and Brown’s “No Guidance” ripped off Dore’s song “I Got It.” Drake and Brown’s collaboration allegedly used the “same chord progressions, tempo, pitch, key, melody, harmony, rhythm, structure, phrasing, and lyrics” as Dore’s track.

Dore wrote “I Got It” in 2015, published it in 2016 and uploaded it to YouTube in 2017. She registered the song with the U.S. Copyright Office in July 2019, a month after “No Guidance” dropped.

The lawsuit claimed the writers and producers of “No Guidance” accessed “I Got It” because it was uploaded to director Benji Filmz’s YouTube channel. Vinylz, who co-produced “No Guidance,” allegedly kept an eye on Benji’s channel.

“Defendant Anderson Hernandez, professionally known as Vinylz, discovered and obtained access to, Tykeiya’s song ‘I Got It’ and Cardi B’s songs on Benji Filmz YouTube channel,” the lawsuit contended. “In 2018, Vinylz later produced Cardi B’s song ‘Be Careful.’ In 2019, without permission, Tykeiya’s song was ‘I Got It’ was used by Vinlyz for Chris Brown’s song “No Guidance.’”

Dore’s uncle Jesse Spruils allegedly provided a copy of her song to Nija Charles, the co-writer of “No Guidance.” He confronted Charles after “No Guidance” dropped in 2019. Dore wasn’t aware of what her uncle did until 2024.

“Defendant Chris Brown’s song ‘No Guidance’ was released and Plaintiff’s uncle contacted Nija Charles to confront her about stealing the chorus of Plaintiff’s song ‘I Got It,’” the lawsuit read. “Defendant Nija Charles blocked Plaintiff’s uncle from her social media accounts. Plaintiff’s uncle felt incompetent, humiliated and embarrassed that he allowed the song ‘I Got It’ to be copied without being compensated, so he never told Plaintiff Tykeiya about it. It wasn’t until Plaintiff Tykeiya hired Marc Stephens, on May 21, 2024, that Plaintiff Tykeiya discovered that her uncle knew about Defendant Nija Charles and Vinlyz having access to her song.”

The lawsuit also targeted YouTube and Google for wrongfully taking down a copyright infringement comparison video uploaded by Stephens. The plaintiffs sued YouTube and Google for unjust enrichment, defamation, common law fraud and emotional distress, among other claims.

Kanye West & adidas Resolve Legal Battle Following Antisemitic Blowback

Bjorn Gulden, adidas’ CEO, announced the company resolved its legal battle against Kanye West. The former business partners settled out of court with no money exchanged.

“There isn’t any more open issues, and there is no… money going either way,” Gulden told reporters on a conference call. “And we both move on.”

He added, “There were tensions on many issues, and… when you put the claims on the right side and you put the claims on the left side, both parties said we don’t need to fight anymore and withdrew all the claims.”

The two sides faced off in multiple lawsuits after adidas cut ties with West over his antisemitism. Gulden said the breakdown of their partnership was “very unfortunate” despite their legal dispute.

“I think Kanye West is one of the most creative people in the world,” Gulden said in 2023. “Both in music and what I call street culture. So, he’s extremely creative and has … created a Yeezy line that was very successful. And then, as creative people, he did some statements, which wasn’t that good … I don’t think he meant what he said. I don’t think he’s a bad person — it just came across that way.”

Earlier this year, a judge dismissed a lawsuit accusing adidas of securities fraud linked to West. HRSA-ILA Funds claimed adidas failed to disclose Ye’s inappropriate conduct from 2013 to 2018, leaving investors in the dark.

“Certainly, that Ye allegedly engaged in such behavior while working with adidas is troubling,” Judge Karin J. Immergut noted. “This Court does not condone what Ye allegedly did. But the question before this Court is not whether to admonish Ye or hold adidas morally accountable for Ye’s conduct. This Court is faced with a precise legal question: has [HRSA-ILA Funds] sufficiently pleaded facts showing that adidas misled investors and thereby committed federal securities fraud? On the current record before this Court, the answer is no.”

Ye’s collaboration with adidas was lucrative for the company, but the relationship reached its breaking point in 2022. The company terminated their partnership, saying Ye violated its “values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

NLE Choppa Reveals He Attempted To Have Snoop Dogg Appear In “The Wash” Short Film

NLE Choppa and his team apparently sought after Snoop Dogg to appear in his upcoming short film clearly inspired by the early 2000s era comedy flick the Deathrow Records rapper starred in alongside Dr. Dre.

For anyone who may have missed it, the 21 year-old rapper released the official trailer for his upcoming comedy short film NLE Choppa Presents: The Wash the weekend prior to its Wednesday (October 30) premiere. In addition to starting in the film, the Memphis native also wrote, directed and produced the short.

While multiple stars will make cameos in the film, including Lil Wayne and Sukihana, West Coast, hip-hop legends Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be absent from the production, which provides “modern twist” on the classic movie. But that wasn’t by design, according to NLE Choppa himself, who claims he attempted to work his magic to align Uncle Snoop with the reboot he’s at the helm of.

In response to a fan who claimed the absence of a cameo from Snoop Dogg was “nasty work” NLE Choppa responded, “we tried hard” seemingly indicating that negotiations were underway to get Snoop to be apart of the production.

While it’s unclear exactly why Snoop Dogg won’t be a part of the short film, it’s very obvious that the plot for NLE Choppa’s production is largely based on the blueprint the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper and Dr. Dre laid out in the original film The Wash in 2001. Though NLE Choppa doesn’t necessarily have a roommate who doubles as a right-hand man, based on the trailer, he is also seeking to alleviate financial pressures whilst working his post at a car wash — much like the iconic rap duo did in the motion picture.

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre achieved moderate box office success, despite mixed reviews, upon the release of The Wash in 2001. It grossed around $10 million worldwide against a budget of approximately $7 million. Over time, The Wash garnered a cult following, especially among fans of Snoop and Dre, leading to steady demand in secondary markets like DVD sales and streaming platforms.

Young Thug Co-Defendant’s Murder Charge Dismissed As YSL Trial Crumbles

Young Thug’s co-defendant Quamarvious Nichols accepted a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial on Tuesday (October 29). Nichols pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Prosecutors dropped multiple charges against Nichols. The plea deal cleared him of murder, participation in criminal street gang activity, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

“We categorically deny and contest any use of violence by Mr. Nichols,” his lawyer Bruce Harvey told Judge Paige Reese Whitaker. “We don’t agree to underlying factual basis [alleged by the prosecution]. We believe those two predicate [drug-related] acts that were committed by Mr. Nichols without any question are sufficient to meet the elements of the offense … which is a RICO conspiracy. A RICO conspiracy requires proof that the defendant … conspire with another person to violate one of the substantive provisions of RICO. And that would be drug offenses … We acknowledge the two [drug] events he participated in. We categorically deny any other allegations.”

Judge Whitaker sentenced Nichols to 20 years, seven of which will be served in prison and the rest on probation. Nichols received credit for time served. He already spent more than two years in jail.

The judge concluded court for the day after sentencing Nichols. There were no status updates on Young Thug and his other co-defendants.

Young Thug’s trial, which began in 2023, was derailed when the prosecutors made a mistake while presenting evidence against Nichols. The defense demanded a mistrial on October 23.

Judge Whitaker refused to grant a mistrial with prejudice, which would prevent prosecutors from retrying Young Thug and his co-defendants. The judge asked defense attorneys if they wanted a mistrial without prejudice, which led to plea deal negotiations behind the scenes.

6ix9ine Blames Positive Meth Tests On Adderall Following Arrest: “It’s A Mistake”

Daniel Hernandez—better known by his rap moniker 6ix9ine, was arrested on Tuesday morning (October 29) for violating the conditions of his supervised release.

Details surrounding his apprehension are starting to emerge, partly due to Inner City Press reporter Matthew Lee, who was in the courtroom when Hernandez made his latest appearance. During the hearing, 6ix9ine was confronted about his positive drug tests, which he claimed were misunderstandings.

Hernandez apparently tested positive for meth—not just once but twice. But he begged to differ, telling the judge, “Adderall has meth in it. It’s just a mistake.”

The judge told Hernandez he could discuss the positive drug tests at his upcoming hearing on November 12 and why he repeatedly left the country despite orders forbidding that. The judge ultimately sent him back to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, the same facility housing Diddy.

“I’ll be interested in hearing more about that on November 12,” the judge said. “I can’t resolve it now. Another court directed you not to leave the country, you left. You can call that court corrupt, and that country corrupt, but you left. I’ll see you in two weeks.”

Hernandez’s entire career has been plagued by legal issues. In 2018, he was arrested on RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) charges due to his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. The federal RICO charges were based on allegations that he and other gang members engaged in a series of crimes, including drug trafficking, armed robberies, shootings and other violent acts.

He often used gang-related imagery and individuals in his music videos, which contributed to his public persona. Authorities claimed that he actively participated in and funded certain gang activities, which ultimately led to the charges. But, as anyone in the rap community knows, he cooperated with federal prosecutors, providing information on other gang members in exchange for a reduced sentence, leading to significant media attention and controversy. He was ultimately sentenced to two years but served just 13 months.

As for Hernandez’s latest arrest, he reportedly failed to comply with a scheduled appearance at 9:30 a.m. local time, resulting in his arrest an hour later. A judge arraigned him on three violations: traveling to Las Vegas without permission, failure to appear for drug testing and using narcotics.

Hernandez pleaded not guilty to the charges, but attorneys presented proof of his alleged unauthorized trip to Las Vegas on September 7, in addition to a back-dated letter from August through September from a doctor in Florida, who reported he tested positive for meth “two times in the last two weeks.”

6ix9ine Arrested Over Violation Of Supervised Release Following Domestic Violence Charges

6ix9ine has landed in serious legal trouble once again, just as he was set to embark on a tour in Mexico and Central America.

According to court docs viewed by AllHipHop, the “TATI” rapper (Daniel Hernandez) was arrested after allegedly violating his supervised release. He appeared in federal court in New York on Tuesday (October 29). 6ix9ine was also arrested in January in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic over domestic violence charges stemming from an incident in which he allegedly assaulted then-girlfriend Yalin la Màs Viral.

According to Matthew Russell Lee of Inner City Press, who live-tweeted the hearing, the nature of Hernandez’ violation stems from his failure to comply with a scheduled appearance at 9:30 a.m. local time, resulting in his arrest an hour later.

A judge arraigned 6ix9ine on three violations, which included traveling to Las Vegas without permission, failure to appear for drug testing and using narcotics, namely amphetamines. Hernandez pleaded not guilty to the charges. However, attorneys presented proof of his alleged unauthorized trip to Las Vegas on September 7, in addition to a back-dated letter from August through September from a doctor in Florida, who claims the rapper tested positive for meth “two times in the last two weeks.”

An evidentiary hearing is scheduled for November 12 and the presiding judge ruled to detain him at the Metropolitan Detention Center until the hearing over his recent actions. Lee noted 6ix9ine attempted to directly address the judge and make his plea for freedom, which was ultimately denied.

Adding to the complexity of his legal issues, 6ix9ine was recently slapped with an international warrant issued by a Dominican Republic court in August, per Diario Libre. He faced arrest for contempt of court stemming from a 2023 assault case.

Last month, Hernandez announced he signed a deal with Kartel Music, which in total, could be worth $6 million. The lucrative deal employs Hernandez to record an album with Mexican regional artists and then tour said album, and his catalog, in the United States, Mexico and Central and South America. But TMZ reported one of the provisions of the contract stipulated that he be in good legal standing to receive the guaranteed amount the deal offers.

50 Cent Reveals Why He Rejected Donald Trump’s $3M Performance Offer

Donald Trump’s campaign tried to book 50 Cent for the Republican presidential candidate’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York. The G-Unit rapper told the Breakfast Club he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at the event, which was held on Sunday (October 27).

“I didn’t even go far,” he said regarding negotiations. “I wasn’t talking to them about [endorsing Trump]. I’m afraid of politics. I do not like no part of politics. No gangbanging, no politics. It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, someone passionately disagrees with you.”

50 Cent emphasized how strives to avoid religion and politics in his career. He joked about Kanye West being exiled to Japan for not avoiding those subjects.

“That’s the formula for the confusion that sent Kanye to Japan,” 50 Cent said. “He said something about both of those things and now he can only go to Japan.”

Trump’s MSG rally created controversy a week before the presidential election. Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe told racist jokes about Latinos – specifically targeting Puerto Ricans – at the event.

“I don’t know if you know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now,” Hinchcliffe said. “I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”

Trump’s campaign issued a statement attempting to distance him from Hinchcliffe amid outrage.

“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” they said.

Trump was asked about Hinchcliffe on Tuesday (October 29). The former president claimed he had no clue who the comedian was.

“I don’t know him,” Trump told ABC News. “Someone put him up there. I don’t know who he is.”

Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump thought the joke received too much media attention.

“I think it’s a shame that there’s so much that’s been made about it,” she said. “It was not, obviously, a joke that was condoned in any way by the campaign, the RNC or Donald Trump. It was a comedian. And I just wish that people were actually looking at the impact of that actual rally in Madison Square Garden with all those people. It was really incredible. And I think it’s a shame that so much has been made of that.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s Lawyer Rips Tory Lanez Missing Gun Claims

Megan Thee Stallion’s lawyer Alex Spiro denied allegations about the gun used to shoot her going missing. Spiro insisted the weapon was still in the Los Angeles Police Department’s possession after Tory Lanez claimed it was no longer available for DNA testing.

Spiro told legal reporter Meghann Cuniff the gun was “there and available.” Lanez’s lawyers said his 10-year prison sentence should be vacated because the firearm went missing, preventing him from conducting further testing in an October filing.

“As the firearm is unavailable, this further testing is impossible,” Lanez’s legal team ontended. “By failing to preserve the material and exculpatory evidence, the People have infringed on the Petitioner’s right under the First and Fourteenth Amendments to seek redress of Petitioner’s grievances through the judicial process. The Petitioner is entitled to challenge the legality of his confinement under the Fourteenth Amendment due process clause because of the People’s failure to preserve and present exculpatory evidence at trial and make available to the Petitioner post-trial.”

Lanez was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in 2022. A judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison in 2023.

The Canadian rapper/singer, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, thought DNA evidence could help his case. He sought to blame the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion on her former friend Kelsey Harris.

“It is more than an abstract possibility that the jury could have been swayed by positive DNA test results showing Ms. Harris’s DNA contributed to one of the four profiles recovered from the magazine and firearm,” Lanez’s attorneys argued. “If the people had made such evidence available to the jury or the defense, it is reasonable to conclude that a rational trier of fact would have found the requisite reasonable doubt as to whether Mr. Peterson had fired the weapon. When looking at the sum total of the circumstances of Petitioner Peterson’s trial, it is clear that a miscarriage of justice has occurred.”

An appellate court confirmed it will consider Lanez’s appeal. The California Attorney General’s Office was ordered to respond to his petition by November 20.

Diddy Blackface & Baby Oil Costumes Spark Outrage, Prompting Probe By College

Two college students are facing intense criticism online after their controversial Halloween costumes depicting Diddy in blackface and a bottle of baby oil went viral.

The image shows a white guy dressed in blackface and wearing a red bow tie, black blazer and white pants. The second individual is a woman dressed as a baby oil bottle. So far, the image has been viewed over 21 million times on Twitter (X).

The costume choice has been criticized as not only racially offensive but also insensitive due to its ties to a recent federal investigation involving Diddy.

The music mogul was arrested September 16 on multiple RICO charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Reports indicated that federal agents seized numerous bottles of baby oil from his homes in Miami and Los Angeles. The baby oil, according to accusations in the case, was allegedly laced with the date rape drug GHB, although that was later proved to be false.

The controversial costumes initially surfaced in a TikTok video posted by a woman reportedly attending San Diego State University. The quick clip also featured other Halloween costumes, with the caption, “How the group chat dressed for Halloween.”

Though the video was eventually deleted, its circulation across other platforms ensured that it continued to incite anger among viewers. At this time, it remains unclear whether the students involved are, in fact, affiliated with San Diego State University.

In response, the institution released a statement condemning the actions depicted in the photo.

“The use of blackface and any actions making light of sexual assault are deeply offensive and have no place in a respectful, caring community. We are deeply concerned about the actions depicted and understand the gravity of how this may impact others, including members of our community.

We have received confirmation that the person who posted the visuals via social media is being misidentified as one of the individuals in the photo. In situations such as these, we must affirm that misinformation is harmful and threats of violence are reprehensible and have no place within our society.

The individuals photographed are not confirmed SDSU students, and our team is working to confirm additional information, to include the location and the names and affiliations of the individuals involved.

Just as important to restate: Any behavior that stereotypes or seeks to harm people based on race or ethnicity and disregard the severity of sexual assault directly contradicts our shared university values and undermines our efforts in support of inclusion and a sense of belonging for all.”

Over on Twitter (X), there was plenty of debate. Some users were offended, while others—mostly white people—didn’t think dressing in blackface was a big deal.

Kanye West Drops $35M On Luxurious Beverly Park Mansion

Kanye West has reportedly dropped $35 million on a sprawling mansion in Beverly Hills. He acquired the 20,000 square-foot home in an exclusive off-market deal.

Nestled in the prestigious Beverly Park North community, the property boasts 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms, set on nearly seven acres. Luxuries include a lavish pool with waterfalls, high-end entertainment pavilion and tennis court.

West is believed to have used the same limited company he employed when selling his Malibu homelast month to purchase the mansion.

Public records showcase the estate’s design and amenities, which offer a retreat-like atmosphere in the midst of one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

Beverly Park North has long been a magnet for celebrities. Over the years, actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Sylvester Stallone, Denzel Washington and Rod Stewart have resided in the upscale enclave.

Tech moguls like George Ruan have also joined the ranks, with Ruan having recently paid $44 million for another nearby property in the area.

West’s purchase comes amid recent reports hinting at his potential relocation to Tokyo, where he has been spending time with his wife, Bianca Censori.

According to sources, West has been enjoying the relative peace and anonymity in Japan, far from the spotlight and paparazzi that often follow his every move in the U.S.

He’s also reportedly working on his upcoming album, Bully. Despite the buzz about Tokyo, West’s latest real estate move suggests he’s not ready to entirely let go of his roots in Southern California.

Joell Ortiz Expresses Regret Over Slaughterhouse Situation Amid “W.A.R” Album Rollout

Veteran rapper Joell Ortiz is opening up about his feelings on the demise of Hip-Hop supergroup Slaughterhouse as he enters yet another new era of his solo career.

On Monday (October 27), Joell Ortiz spoke candidly during his interview with Sway Calloway about his regrets concerning the demise of the rap crew that once looked poised to redefine collaborations within the genre and culture at large. Despite the fact he’s in the midst of promoting his new album W.A.R, Ortiz revealed his feelings of nostalgia and missed opportunities with the group, sharing some hard-hitting truths about what could have been.

“When things ain’t right and you wish you could have them back, and I’m one of them people, because that was a special time for me,” Ortiz began, acknowledging the unique bond he shared with the other members of Slaughterhouse, which included Royce da 5’9″, Joe Budden, and KXNG Crooked.

“It didn’t pan out the way I wanted it, and so I felt a way.”

Pressed by Sway on what he might want to “take back” Ortiz admitted he wished he hadn’t “bowed out” without voicing his concerns earlier.

“I wish I would’ve just told dudes like, ‘Yo guys, remember the special stuff?’ I know it’s business, and I know we all entrepreneurs trying to get to different bags, but I wish I would’ve just said, ‘Guys, we created something that was bigger than all of us individually and it happened organically,'” he said.

“Let’s keep doing that.'”

A post shared by Sway Calloway (@realsway)

In conclusion, Joell Ortiz lamented how financial interests eventually took precedence over their shared artistry.

“I should have been like, ‘Son, y’all wildin,'” he said. “What are you doing? Forget about this, this and that. Let’s keep making fire music,'” illustrating the conflict between artistry and business that ultimately led to the group’s unraveling.

For those who recall, tensions between Slaughterhouse group members flared publicly online in 2022 during a heated Instagram live session between Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9 — which occurred after Ortiz and KXNG Crooked released their joint-effort album Rise & Fall Of Slaughterhouse. Budden not only refused to listen and support the album, but also claimed he was bigger than any individual member of the group during the infamous live stream.

Slaughterhouse’s debut studio album, Welcome to: OUR HOUSE, reached impressive heights upon its release in 2012. Peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the album also enjoyed significant radio airplay, with singles like “My Life” charting on the Billboard Hot 100. Though not RIAA-certified, the album’s commercial success demonstrated the group’s potential. Ortiz’s recent reflections add a bittersweet note to the group’s legacy, highlighting what fans and the rap world lost when Slaughterhouse disbanded.

Quando Rondo, 6ix9ine, Charleston White & More Appear In New Lul Tim Doc

Quando Rondo associate Lul Tim, who was previously accused in the fatal shooting of Chicago rapper King Von, is set to tell his own story in an upcoming documentary.

On Monday (October 28), Tim shared the official trailer for the multi-part documentary series, entitled The Book of Timothy, in an Instagram post on his personal profile. Narrated by the founder of the popular media platform SayCheese, the series includes appearances and interviews from Quando Rondo, Charleston White and 6ix9ine, among others.

“After almost 5 years of silence I Releases the never before told truth in The Book of Timothy,” Lul Tim wrote in the caption of the post he shared featuring the trailer.

The first episode of the series, which has been dubbed “A Mother’s Prayer” is available for purchase for $5.99 via an exclusive link provided by BMS Studios. Despite the majority of the content being held-up behind a virtual paywall, the trailer appears to show never-before-seen footage of Quando Rondo describing a shooting incident during which Lul Tim was wounded, along with testimony from Tim himself. The trailer also teases that newly discovered “details” and “evidence” will be disclosed in the doc.

The timing of the release of the documentary follows a number of developments in the longstanding feud between Quando Rondo and Lil Durk’s camps. Durk was arrested in a Florida earlier this month over his potential role in an alleged murder-for-hire plot connected to the 2022 shooting death of Quando’s associate Lul Pab.

The 32-year-old rapper was taken into custody on Thursday (October 24) and held without bond at the Broward County Jail. King Von was fatally shot during a fight outside an Atlanta Hookah lounge on November 6, 2020. Cops arrested Lul Tim the following day. He was charged with felony murder in King Von’s death. However, in August 2023, Tim’s attorney confirmed murder charges had been dropped.

“The case against Mr. Leeks was dismissed prior to ever being indicted,” Noah Pines said in a statement to XXL.

Tory Lanez Claims His Ex-Lawyer Sabotaged His Defense At Roc Nation’s Request

Tory Lanez accused his former lawyer Shawn Holley of intentionally hindering his defense in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Lanez filed an ethics complaint claiming Holley never had his best interest in mind due to her alleged ties to Roc Nation.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, said acted on Roc Nation’s orders to try to get him to accept a plea deal. He pointed to the Hulu series Reasonable Doubt, which is loosely based on Holley’s life, as the source of her alleged conflict of interest. The show featured Megan’s “Savage” remix and a song by Holley’s daughter, who sang backup for Beyoncé. Holley scoffed at Lanez’s allegations.

“Mr. Peterson brought these meritless claims to the State Bar over a year ago and they were summarily rejected and the matter was promptly closed,” Holley told TMZ. “His actions to publicize this failed effort are likely tied to the appeal of his criminal conviction, for which I wish him well.”

Lanez was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in 2022. Holley told him she was “not comfortable” with his defense strategy, which sought to blame Kelsey Harris for shooting Megan in the foot.

A judge sentenced Lanez to 10 years in prison in 2023. Lanez appealed his conviction. His current legal team filed a writ of habeas corpus petition on October 23.

“It is more than an abstract possibility that the jury could have been swayed by positive DNA test results showing Ms. Harris’s DNA contributed to one of the four profiles recovered from the magazine and firearm,” Lanez’s lawyers argued.

Lanez remains in custody in California.

Asian Doll Sparks King Von Murder Conspiracy Theory Amid Viral Mural Vandalism Incident

Asian Doll is reviving a theory she previously floated around concerning the death of her ex-boyfriend King Von amid news of a mural dedicated in his honor being defaced.

Fans of the deceased rap star flooded social media platforms with angry reactions in response to news that a mural in honor of King Von at King Drive in Parkway Gardens, known as “O Block,” was defaced. More specifically, the mural was vandalized with graffiti that read, “Andy [heart emoji] Suki.”

“Bout time a mural of man who took pride in terrorizing his community is gross af,” a user wrote on Twitter (X) in a tweet featuring the damage done to the mural. Another user added, “Idgaf who the person is, you don’t vandalize a persons mural.”

Late West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle was also referenced by individuals remarking on the vandalism of King Von’s mural.

“Who cares they did same shi with Nip people gone be people,” the user wrote.

As if the rumblings of Von’s mural being defaced weren’t triggering enough, the “Crazy Story” rapper’s former love interest Asian Doll set the timeline on Twitter ablaze with her theory about his murder. Asian Doll made the claims about his death amid news of a new documentary centered around Lul Tim, who was accused in the fatal shooting of King Von’s in Atlanta in 2021.

“He didn’t even kill Von why tf you think the charges was dropped,” Asian Doll wrote in the since-deleted tweet responding to the trailer for the documentary claiming Lul Tim speaks on shooting King Von. “The blunts he shot didn’t match the bullets that killed him WTF.”

In response to another X user who questioned her initial statement regarding bullets, Asian Doll doubled down on her belief about Von’s death.

“I’m speaking real life facts you talking bout a video of bullets flying you couldn’t even see,” she wrote in the tweet.

This isn’t the first time that Asian Doll has expressed her opinion that Lul Tim didn’t fire the shots that ultimately resulted in King Von’s death. In August 2023, she shared a similar theory on Twitter as news broke that charges against Tim in connection to Von’s death were being dropped.

Diddy Accused Of Drugging & Raping 10-Year-Old Boy

Attorney Tony Buzbee sued Sean “Diddy” Combs once again, this time for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy. The lawsuit claimed Diddy drugged and raped the child during an “audition” in 2005.

The plaintiff, identified as John Doe, was an aspiring rapper. His family hired a consultant to help him break into the entertainment industry. The consultant arranged a meeting with Diddy, who allegedly requested to meet with the boy alone.

John Doe performed for Diddy at a hotel in New York. Diddy told the child he could “make him a star” and asked “how badly” the boy wanted it. The plaintiff said he’d “do anything.” The alleged victim was given a soda believed to be laced with drugs.

“After plaintiff consumed his soda and began feeling its effects, Combs told plaintiff to move closer to him, which plaintiff did,” the lawsuit read. “Combs then abruptly pushed plaintiff down and said words to the effect of, ‘You have to do some stuff you don’t want to do sometimes.’ Once plaintiff had pushed plaintiff down, Combs pulled his penis out of his pants and told the 10-year-old plaintiff to ‘kiss it.’ When plaintiff resisted, Combs nevertheless forced his penis into plaintiff’s mouth and proceeded to repeatedly push it in and out.”

John Doe said he lost consciousness. The plaintiff woke up with his pants undone.

“His a### and buttocks hurt badly,” the lawsuit noted.

The boy cried as he sought his parents. Diddy allegedly threatened to hurt the child’s parents if the victim told anyone what happened.

John Doe’s parents noticed he was “lethargic and acting differently.” They were “terrified” to report the abuse after their son told them what occurred.

Buzbee is representing more than 150 people accusing Diddy of sexual assault. John Doe is one of multiple plaintiffs who were minors at the time of the abuse. Diddy’s lawyers denied the allegations.

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” they said. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman.”

Diddy is currently in custody on racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. His trial is scheduled to start in May 2025.

Young Thug In Limbo As YSL Defendants Counter Plea Deals

Young Thug’s disastrous trial inched closer to the finish line as the prosecution and defense negotiated behind the scenes. Multiple defendants made counteroffers to proposed plea deals in the YSL RICO case, per FOX 5 Atlanta.

Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sent all parties home for the day without a resolution on Monday (October 28). She asked them to return on Tuesday morning (October 29).

Defense attorneys said their counteroffers were brought to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is running for reelection in Georgia. Her Republican opponent Courtney Kramer claims she will dismiss the YSL RICO case if she defeats Willis.

Young Thug’s trial has been slow yet chaotic. Months ago, one judge was forced to recuse him due to courtroom misbehavior that derailed the proceedings. Prosecutors were to blame for the latest disruption.

The prosecution failed to redact a name from evidence presented to a witness testifying in Young Thug’s trial on October 23. The witness revealed one of the defendants was previously incarcerated, which the jury wasn’t supposed to know. The defense demanded a mistrial. One attorney accused the prosecution of “goading” the defense into a mistrial so the Fulton County D.A. could retry the case.

“I do not believe that [prosecutors] are purposefully trying to insert error into this trial to make y’all ask for a mistrial so that they can try this case again,” Judge Whitaker said. “I think it is continued [mistakes]. And I am sorry [prosecutors] have this gigantic, ginormous universe of evidence that maybe if you narrowed down you would not be making these kinds of mistakes, but I believe that to be a mistake.”

Judge Whitaker refused requests for a mistrial with prejudice but asked the defense if they wanted one without prejudice. A mistrial without prejudice would allow the prosecution to try Young Thug and his co-defendants again. Defense lawyers considered it, resulting in the trial going on hold for a few days.

Diddy Behind Bars: Feds Investigating MDC Brooklyn Over “Horrific Conditions”

Multiple federal agencies investigated safety at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, the facility housing Diddy while he awaits trial. Specific details of the investigation weren’t disclosed, but officials claimed there was “no active” threat spurring their action.

“In an effort to maintain the safety and security of all personnel inside the facility and the integrity of this operation, we are unable to provide additional information at this time,” the Federal Bureau of Prisons said. “We will provide additional information at the conclusion of the operation.”

MDC Brooklyn has been plagued by violence. Two inmates were stabbed to death over the summer. Federal prosecutors charged nine inmates for attacks at the facility.

“Violence will not be tolerated in our federal jails,” U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said. “As alleged, in June and July of this year, two men detained at MDC Brooklyn—Uriel Whyte and Edwin Cordero—were murdered by fellow inmates using makeshift weapons. Others at MDC Brooklyn have been viciously assaulted by inmates, as alleged in the three other cases … As the only federal pretrial facility in New York City, MDC Brooklyn houses pretrial inmates accused of some of the most serious crimes in our region. No matter the reason for their detention, my Office will work tirelessly to vindicate the rights of victims who suffer violence within MDC Brooklyn.”

Diddy’s lawyers cited the facility’s dangerous reputation when he sought bail following his September arrest.

“Several courts … have recognized that the conditions at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn are not fit for pre-trial detention,” his attorneys argued. “Just earlier this summer, an inmate was murdered. At least four inmates have died by suicide there in the past three years. Numerous Courts in this district have raised concerns with the horrific conditions of detention there.”

Judges denied Diddy’s bail request. He awaits a ruling after filing an appeal.

Diddy’s trial is scheduled for May 2025. He faces sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.
