Diddy Declares An R&B Resurgence Following “The Love Album” Release

Diddy played a role in introducing R&B singers such as Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans to the world. The Bad Boy Entertainment and Love Records founder also delved into the genre with his own latest body of work.

The Love Album: Off the Grid arrived on September 15. Diddy’s fifth studio LP featured appearances by R&B singers such as Blige, The-Dream, Summer Walker, The Weeknd, Jazmine Sullivan, Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani, Coco Jones, John Legend and others.

In celebration of its release, Diddy hosted The Love Radio Takeover on Apple Music 1 last week. During the three-hour live broadcast, the man formerly known as Puff Daddy spoke about the state of R&B music.

“I wanted to work with different voices that I never had a chance to work with in R&B. I wanted to unify R&B because I believe that R&B is not getting the right lens,” said Diddy. He continued, “I want to tell you some Black people, we do look alike. I could dig that, but Hip-Hop and R&B are two different things.”

Diddy also added, “Baseball and soccer are not the same thing. So we do a disservice to the talent that’s trying to come up, the musicians, the infrastructure, the ecosystem of our African-American culture by pitting it up against Hip-Hop.”

In 2022, Diddy appeared ready to write R&B’s obituary. That August the Harlemite sent out a tweet that read, “Who killed R&B?” His post led to other recording artists, like R&B/pop superstar Usher, pushing back on the idea that Rhythm and Blues died.

Fast forward a year later, Diddy now seems to believe R&B is alive and thriving. He spoke about how many of the musical contributors on The Love Album: Off the Grid assisted in moving that style of music into a new era.

“We’re coming with this album to make it clear that R&B is here. There’s an R&B resurgence and we all got together,” Diddy said on Apple Music 1. “This is not just my album. This is our album. Everybody that’s on the album from Summer Walker to Jazzy. Teyana Taylor, Babyface, John Legend and so many more.”

Nicki Minaj Posts Family Photos After Her Husband Gets Dragged Online

It’s been a tumultuous few days for Nicki Minaj. The music superstar hosted the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and won Best Hip-Hop for “Super Freaky Girl” at the September 12 ceremony.

However, drama involving her husband quickly overshadowed Minaj’s success at this year’s VMAs. Kenneth “Zoo” Petty began beefing with Cardi B’s husband, Offset, on the internet. That online feud apparently kicked off after one of Kenneth Petty’s associates threatened Cardi B and Offset in a video. In response, Offset reportedly sent a direct message to the man which sparked more reactions from Petty.

As the story of the bad blood spread, online commenters blasted Petty for possibly inciting violence and incriminating himself. Others brought up the fact that Petty was convicted of attempted rape by force in 1995, leading to conversations on social media about Minaj marrying a registered sex offender. Even Cardi B alluded to Petty’s past criminal history of sexual abuse as a clapback against a troll who tried to spread a false narrative about her father.

It appears Minaj wants to look unbothered by the tension surrounding her spouse. The 40-year-old Queen album creator uploaded photos of herself, Petty and their son to her Instagram page on Monday (September 18).

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have been feuding for years. Footage of Cardi throwing her shoe at Minaj during a New York Fashion Week event in 2018 brought the deep-seated hostility to the forefront. Since then, the two rappers have engaged in both subliminal and direct disses.

Drake Announces He’s Moving To Houston: “Finally” Found Dream Home In The City

Drake’s ties to Houston just got even stronger as the Hip-Hop superstar revealed that he’s moving to the city where it all started for him.

During night two of his It’s All A Blur tour in H-Town Monday night (September 18), the O.V.O. founder revealed that he’s been house hunting for some time but has finally found the ideal spot for a second base outside of his mansion in his hometown of Toronto.

It appears the deal is sealed, with Drake telling the audience that he had to “wait until it’s official” first.

“I’ve been looking for a long time trying to figure out where to find the right place for me to live, and where I belong outside of Toronto,” he shared. “And I finally, finally found it after all these years. I found my place in Houston, Texas, y’all!”

Drake Shows Love To Houston Legend Bun B

The city was instrumental to Drake at the start of his career. It’s where he met his mentor, Lil Wayne, after being introduced by famous Houstonian Jas Prince. He recorded the first of many of his features with another of Houston’s legends, Bun B, in 2009 for his third mixtape, So Far Gone.

Drake showed love to Bun B when he pulled up to the first show in Houston on Sunday night (September 17).

“Get the legendary Bun B on the camera real quick!” Drake said during the concert. “This my dog right here. Raised me up in this s###.”

After pushing back the release of his For All The Dogs album last week, Drake told the Houston crowd that the wait is worthwhile as he is sitting on another classic.

“I got my album coming out for y’all October 6,” he shared. “I know I pushed it back, but it’s for good reason. ‘Cause I’m trying to represent for the H-Town like I always do. Another classic on the way.”

Blueface Feeds Into “Baby Momma Drama” With New Music Video Ft. Chrisean Rock And Their Son

Blueface has debuted a new song amid his ongoing conflict with the mothers of his kids aptly titled “Baby Momma Drama.”

The track comes after the “Thotiana” hitmaker bragged about signing both of his kids’ mothers, Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis to his MILF Music label.

In the “Baby Momma Drama” video, Chrisean Rock seemingly signs her contract, albeit a handwritten one with “MILF Music Forever” scrawled on the cover page. Check out the video, currently only available on YouTube, below.

However, he’s recently been feuding with the mother of his two older children despite their reconciliation during Rock’s pregnancy. After seeing Blueface sign Rock, Jaidyn Alexis announced she has ditched the label.

“My new manager would never,” she tweeted over the weekend. “Who’s watching the baby?”

Then, over on Instagram, Alexis confirmed, “I’m sorry to all the fans, I’m no longer with MILF Music. I do not condone bullying and anything on his page is no longer my consent.”

“I signed both my baby mommas I guess I’m the problem,” Blueface wrote later that day.

However, after Blueface dropped the “Babay Momma Drama” visuals, Jaidyn Alexis seemingly had a change of heart

She retweeted a post branding her “The First Lady of Milf music” urging, “don’t let no one trick you out your spot.” Alexis followed up with, “I didn’t say I was done w music.”

It looks like Blueface’s “Baby Momma Drama” continues.

Snoop Dogg Shows Off A Day’s Worth Of Blunts While Watching Premiere Of His New “Monday Night Football” Theme Song

Snoop Dogg may be overseas on tour, but that doesn’t mean he has to ditch all his usual habits, including smoking on a blunt or two while watching ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

However, this week’s episode was extra special, opening with the new theme song featuring the Doggfather himself. Snoop Dogg joined forces with Chris Stapleton and drummer Cindy Blackman Santana for a new rendition of the Phil Collins classic “In the Air Tonight.”

Check out Snoop’s verse on the new theme song below.

The network confirmed their rendition is the new theme song of ESPN’s Monday Night Football. The song will continue for future broadcasts. The track premiered ahead of the New Orleans Saints game against the Carolina Panthers on Monday night (September 18) on ESPN. Viewers got another chance to see Snoop Dogg and his collaborators’ new theme song an hour later to kick off the Browns vs. Steelers game on ABC.

Snoop Dogg Lines Up His Blunts For “Monday Night Football”

Although he’s currently in the Netherlands on the European Leg of his world tour, Snoop Dogg made time for Monday Night Football. He shared a video from his hotel room where he was watching the Steelers game, praising T.J. Watt for making Steelers history to become the team’s all-time sack leader.

“Let me show you what I been doing today. All in a day’s work,” Snoop Dogg shared before showing off his handiwork. He panned the camera down to his windowsill, where he had the remains of 11 blunts neatly lined up in a row.

“Ooh wow. That’s some good work dawg,” Snoop said, complimenting himself. “What kinda pack was it? Death Row. What a brotherhood.”  Watch the clip below.

While there have been claims Snoop smokes up to 150 blunts a day, the roaches he left on Monday are more in line with how much the Death Row Records honcho says he actually smokes. He shared a video in November 2022 featuring ten half-used joints lying on a table.

“This is all in a day’s work,” Snoop Dogg declared, refuting rumors he smokes much more.

50 Cent Fan Tries To Rush The Stage And Instantly Regrets It

Although 50 Cent has shared the stage with many a special guest on his Final Lap tour, one brave concertgoer quickly discovered that Fiddy isn’t a fan of uninvited ones.

The G-Unit founder and his tour rolled into Chicago on Saturday (September 16), ready to put on a show. However, 50 Cent was met with an unexpected surprise guest as he paid homage to one of the city’s rap stars.

As 50 and his crew rocked the stage to Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa,” a fan decided to join them. He jumped on the stage and made a beeline for 50 Cent. Nonetheless, the security team (and Uncle Murda) were ready for him.

The stage invader got within feet of the Hip-Hop mogul before being apprehended by a burly security guard who was soon joined by several others. They swiftly bundled the man offstage as 50 Cent looked on, feathers distinctly unruffled. Check out the clip below.

It was a different story in Detroit the following day when 50 Cent was joined by a surprise guest, but this time a very welcome one. Eminem joined his protégé to perform some of their bangers, including “Patiently Waiting” and “Crack A Bottle.”

50 Cent’s Touring Days Coming To An End

The Final Lap tour is set to a close in November, and it could be 50 Cent’s last time hitting the road.

“I got a lot of spots I gotta hit before I be done, because this is the Final Lap Tour,” he said in May, adding, “I won’t be running around like this no more. I gotta do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I gotta work on, so I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring…I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”

B.G. Claps Back At Haters: “Ima Show Up Loud”

B.G. saw your comments. There was a lot of talk about the Cash Money Bling Bling King showing some “feminine” characteristics since being out of prison. For the record, you never saw us or me comment on it because I thought it was silly. I also thought it was cruel.

Bruh did 14 years in prison. Most of us couldn’t do a month in prison Personally, I think he was just a fish out of water and probably still is. I do not know if he’s institutionalized, but I would not be shocked if he is. In fact, the iPhone just JUST came out as he was going in. To me, the cameras, freedom and renewed fame has been a bit much. Presently, he’s in a halfway house, but he’s certainly getting ready.

Head here for the original video.

Moving on, B.G. has sent a message for the haters. He’s waking up to the differences in how things are being done now. He said, in so many words, if you think its sweet over here…TRY ME!!

“Waaahhh!!! I kno y’all wondering where I’m at and what I’m doing, but I’m taking it 1 day at a time,” he wrote. “I’m working in silence and ima show up loud.. I’m greatful for alllll the love and motivated by the hate… Heart of The Streets 3 coming sooner than y’all think #rns

Symba Explains Why He Checked Funk Flex For Tupac Disrespect

Symba felt a need to call out Funkmaster Flex for badmouthing Tupac Shakur. The Atlantic Records artist sat down with ABC News to discuss why he confronted Funk Flex via freestyle on the Hot 97 host’s show in 2022.

“It started where in like 2017 or 2016, he was talking about Tupac,” Symba said. “A leader in Hip-Hop, we don’t need to be divisive with somebody that’s not here no more.”

Symba was referring to a time when Funk Flex infamously blamed Tupac for Biggie Smalls’ death in a teary-eyed rant. Funk Flex claimed Tupac lied about the 1994 Quad Studios shooting.

“Biggie wouldn’t have f###### died if that n#### hadn’t lied,” Funk Flex said. “He lied! Y’all n##### worship him … F###### lied! Nobody wants to tell the truth.”

ABC News spoke with Symba for a new episode of Impact x Nightline focusing on the Tupac murder investigation, which recaptured police’s attention in July. Symba talked about his personal outlook on making sure people don’t forget about Tupac and other dead rappers.

“I hate thinking about this s###,” he said. “We just die as rappers. That s### is f###### depressing. Anybody that represented our culture, I feel like I got a responsibility to keep their name alive.”

YNW Melly’s Ex-Girlfriend Claims Police Threaten Her With Jail In His Murder Case

YNW Melly’s ex-girlfriend Mariah Hamilton spoke out about his murder case on Law & Crime’s Sidebar Podcast. Hamilton revealed she had a warrant out for her arrest and accused police of threatening her with jail if she didn’t “tell them what they want to hear.”

“I’m currently wanted,” Hamilton told Law & Crime. “I’ve tried to get the warrant lifted plenty of times, but it’s just been a constant battle with my lawyer and the prosecutor. So, I’ve just been laying low trying to get the warrant lifted before I could even come in and speak my part.”

YNW Melly, whose real name is Jamell Demons, awaits a retrial for the 2018 murders of YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser. Prosecutors accuse the rapper of killing his friends and staging a drive-by shooting to cover up the murders.

Hamilton did not appear in YNW Melly’s original trial, which ended in a mistrial in July. Hamilton claimed she offered to speak with police and appear in court but not under the threat of jail. She hoped Judge John Murphy would lift the warrant against her.

YNW Melly’s ex-girlfriend filed a complaint against Mark Moretti, the lead detective in the murder case. Hamilton accused Moretti of harassing her.

“When the situation first happened, I was threatened,” she said. “I was 17, about to turn 18. They came to my house, telling me they were going to arrest me on accessory after the fact. My mom didn’t know what to do. I was young and I didn’t have a criminal record, I didn’t have a background. I was trying to go into the military at the time. So, I had to tell them what they wanted to hear so they could leave me alone. I thought they would leave me alone, but they didn’t.”

She continued, “[Moretti] told me that I was lying. He told me I knew more than I was telling and that he could arrest me for accessory after the fact. He wanted me to get on a tape recording and tell him what he wanted me to tell him, which I did. And after that, he said they wouldn’t bother me anymore. They were still calling and texting my mom asking for me. I refused to talk so many times. And yeah, I haven’t really talked to them since then, since 2019.”

Hamilton insisted she was not running for YNW Melly’s sake. She simply aimed to avoid jail.

“I just want people to know that I’m not running because of any money or anything like that,” she explained. “It’s because I don’t want to go to jail for something that I didn’t do or something that I’m not a part of. I just feel like they’re looking at me wrong and what they’re showing is not true.”

Jury selection for YNW Melly’s retrial begins in October. He has remained in jail since his 2019 arrest.

Y’all Doing Too Much With The Ice Spice & Taylor Swift Stank Breath Clip

If you haven’t caught it yet, there’s a viral clip of Ice Spice and Taylor Swift at the 2023 MTV VMA Awards in which people are alleging the “Deli” rapper was floored by the Eras lyricist’s breath.

While it is completely unclear why Ice Spice was curling up her lips up while T. Swift was having a word with her, but of course social media trolls took the clip and ran with it.

“Ain’t no way Ice Spice saying Taylor Swift breath stank that bad [Skull emoji],” one Twitter user wrote in a tweet featuring the bizarre clip.

The memes were also completely outrageous, emoji bombing and overall just out of pocket in nature. But believe it or not, expert VMAs sources have seemingly debunked the #StankBreathSwift rumors.

According to a report from Pop Sugar, Swift and countless other celebs in attendance were drinking an “off menu” cocktail with a recipe proven to keep a palette unobstructed by liquor breath.

The drink in question comes complete with a “surprising mix of Bacardi Superior Rum and coconut water.” Sources add sprigs of mint were also in the mix—so if this was Swift was sipping on, it’s likely she wasn’t moving mad with halatosis. Regardless of the tiny blunder, the pair appeared to be having the time of their lives.

Check out more clips of Spice Swift kicking it like the best of friends below.

You Won’t Believe What Alex Rodriguez Did For Fun While “Snitching” To The DEA

Depending on which federal investigators you ask, they may tell you MLB legend Alex Rodriguez likes to “go hard” in his free time.

Long story short, A-Rod admitted to federal investigators that the founder of abiogenesis had given him Cialis and Viagra, after bloodwork revealed his testosterone was “low for a male of his age.”

According to a new bombshell report from ESPN that cited Drug Enforcement Administration documents from a 2014 sit-down with the then-Yankees franchise player, he used the drugs for “fun” and paid nearly $12,000 per month for the illegal prescriptions.

A post shared by Alex Rodriguez (@arod)

In fact, the 2014 meeting Rodriguez took part in with two assistant U.S. Department of Justice attorneys and seven DEA agents, dubbed “Queen Day,” was also allegedly the first time Rodriguez admitted to using PEDs (performance enhancing drugs.)

Don’t believe me? The NY Post claims a 1,400-page report on the meeting exists and also details allegations Rodriguez outed Manny Ramirez, Ryan Braun and one other MLB All-Star player for their use of PEDs. And here’s the kicker, not one single player named received a suspension, per ESPN.

Keep it 100 with yourself though—you might’ve been poppin’ Viagra on some “Stay Up” Kanye West and 88Keys vibes if you bagged Jennifer Lopez, too.

Atmosphere Show Brings Out Souls Of Mischief, Large Professor & Several Other Living Legends

Atmosphere headlined the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado on Sunday night (September 17)—and the legends came out in more ways than one. Beginning with a set from Breakbeat Lou, the show boasted a stacked lineup that also included Mr. Dibbs, Souls of Mischief—who are in the midst of playing more than 105 dates on the 93 Til Infinity 30th anniversary tour—Danny Brown and Living Legends’ The Grouch and Eligh.

But meandering through the crowd backstage, there were some other familiar faces that made the experience that much sweeter, including Large Professor and former Tommy Boy and Elektra Records A&R Dante Ross.

The number of people who knew each other made it feel like a family affair and everybody was in high spirits—whether literally or figuratively (or both). The Grouch and Eligh, who have done several projects under the G&E moniker, lit up the stage alongside DJ Fresh with songs like “The Bay To LA,” but those paying close attention likely noticed a special announcement posted up on the big screen behind them.

Not only did it unveil the cover art for the next Living Legends album, The Return, it also revealed a release date of October 27. Fans of the West Coast Hip-Hop collective haven’t had a proper Living Legends album since The Gathering, which was released in 2008. The lead single, “Lettermen,” arrived on September 9 (find it here). In a brief conversation backstage, Eligh told AllHipHop he truly believes it’s “the best one yet.”

After an intermission from Mr. Dibbs in all his tattooed glory, Souls of Mischief walked onstage to a nearly sold-out crowd screaming for their performance. Clearly well oiled from their massive global trek, A-Plus, Tajai, Phesto and Opio sounded as sharp as ever, sailing through live renditions of “Make Your Mind Up” and, of course, “93 Til Infinity” from the 1993 classic of the same name.

Following a month-long break, the Bay Area foursome will continue the tour overseas. Tajai mentioned he was “a little” tired, but it’s nothing he can’t handle. After all, he’s been on the road for more than three decades as part of Hieroglyphics, Souls of Mischief and other endeavors like Rap Noir.

Atmosphere’s Slug, meanwhile, was busy running around, hyping up the audience and sharing hugs with everyone who’d come out to see him. Brown was nowhere to be found until it was time for his set. Par for the course, he performed several selections from his discography, including “Garbage Pale Kids,” “Real Nega” and “1539 N. Calvert.”

Slug and Ant shut the venue down with another expansive set, which pulled from 2002’s God Loves Ugly, 2003’s Sevens Travels, the duo’s most recent album, So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously, and many others from their 13-album discography. Jaidyn Alexis Explodes On Blueface Over Signing Chrisean Rock: “He Fooled Us Y’all”

Blueface, Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis are back in headlines after exchanging words online over what kind of father the “Thotiana” rapper actually is. According to Alexis, he’s a “dead beat,” a fact only made public after the rapper was seen in the studio with his newest baby momma, Chrisean Rock.

“A dead beat and shooting a music video or in studio for fun is different but go off,” she wrote. “I know y’all need the clout.”

She also called him an opp, adding, “My bd an opp sorry to disappoint y’all he’s a narcissist, a liar and a weirdo.”

Blueface answered the allegations saying, “I don’t know how to be a deadbeat I’m sorry I can’t live up to you guys bad dad expectations.”

As previously reported, Blueface and Chrisean Rock are celebrating the birth of their son, Chrisean Malone Jr. In an Instagram Story, it seems that the two not only are enjoying the new baby but are also doing some new business. Rock just might be signing with her on-again, off-again boyfriend. The clip shows Rock signing a contract that read, “Milf Music Forever!”

“I signed both my baby momma,” he tweeted. “I guess I’m the problem.”

Another trigger might have been the posting of a photo of Blueface sleeping in a bed with the new baby, after gassing his high school sweetheart about how much more he loves her over Chrisean Rock. Alexis snapped on Twitter, claiming he had everyone fooled.

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian’s 7-Year-Old Son Gives Paparazzi The Middle Finger

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s son Saint has made headlines for showing some of his father’s anti-media ways. While going into an Islands burger fast food restaurant after an end-of-the-week basketball game with his friends on Friday (September 15), paparazzi started to swarm. The group was being escorted by the eldest West boy’s famous mother, so it was not shocking that the cameras would start to flash. Displeased by the attention, Saint went Ye on them. At one point, the little boy flipped the bird at the paparazzi, then giggled after he made the crude gesture.

Kardashian didn’t approve and slightly reprimanded the boy and tried to cover his face with her hand. But of course, this isn’t the first time fans have gotten a taste of Saint’s personality. For Mother’s Day, he did a video that Kardashian shared with her followers.

“Mom, I’m very grateful for you,” he said. “I know I’m rude to you a lot. I say you’re nothing to me, but you mean the world to me. I love you more than anything. You’re my favorite in the family. I even love you more than my cute little brother, Psalm. I love you. Never forget that.”

Saint is the second oldest child of the Kardashian-West kids. His siblings are North, Chicago and Psalm.

Rod Wave Talks Sampling Paramore For “Crazy” Track

It appears Rod Wave is on track to score another No. 1 album. Nostalgia will likely become the rapper/singer’s third chart-topper.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Rod Wave’s Nostalgia will pull in around 130,000-140,000 first-week units. That projected range should be enough for the studio LP to land atop next week’s Billboard 200 chart.

In addition, a 130,000-140,000 opening week would put Wave in third place for a Hip-Hop debut in 2023. Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape amassed 167,000 first-week units. Travis Scott’s Utopia debuted with 496,000 units.

Rod Wave previously led the Billboard 200 with 2021’s SoulFly and 2022’s Beautiful Mind. The Florida native also made it into the Top 10 with the Ghetto Gospel LP in 2019 and the Jupiter’s Diary: 7 Day Theory EP in 2022.

Nostalgia hosts a track titled “Crazy.” That record borrows elements from “Ain’t It Fun” by Tennessee-bred band Paramore. Rod Wave spoke to Zane Lowe about that sample for Apple Music 1’s New Music Daily Radio show.

“I wasn’t even aware that they weren’t fond of clearing songs until I was actually in that boat. I was writing them and DMing them on Instagram,” said Wave about getting permission from Paramore to use parts of “Ain’t It Fun” for his song.

He also added, “The song is real personal to me. So all my music, I try to just shed light on my background and what made me who I am, the reason I’m this kind of artist, the reason I’m who I am. So I always try to just shed light on that. Just the way [Paramore’s Hayley Williams] painting a picture vividly gives you both sides of the good and the bad.”

Paramore’s “Ain’t It Fun” came out on the group’s self-titled 2013 album. The Justin Meldal-Johnsen-produced single peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The RIAA certified “Ain’t It Fun” as 3x-Platinum in 2019.

Kai Cenat Looks To Be Directing A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Music Video

Award-winning streamer Kai Cenat has become one of the most prominent figures in modern-day Hip-Hop media. The NYC native apparently linked with fellow New Yorker A Boogie wit da Hoodie for official business.

Over the weekend, Kai Cenat shared a clip of himself from what seemed to be a music video set. The 21-year-old internet personality captioned his video, “Directed by yours truly.”

A Boogie wit da Hoodie also posted the same 7-second video to the Instagram Story on the verified @aboogievsartist account. The Highbridge, Bronx representative simply added, “@kaicenat 🫶🏿.”

Kai Cenat has had A Boogie wit da Hoodie on his Twitch livestream on several occasions. The two entertainers also went viral together earlier this year because of a video of Cenat getting caught in the middle of A Boogie arguing with his partner, Ella Bands.

It has been a very newsworthy week for Kai Cenat. His 24-hour livestream with Offset made headlines around the internet. Cenat even had to come to the Migo member’s defense against rumors he cheated on his wife, Cardi B, while on the stream.

Before apparently connecting with Kai Cenat for new visuals, A Boogie wit da Hoodie dropped his Me vs. Myself album in December 2022. He already premiered video-backed singles such as “Take Shots” featuring Tory Lanez.

In addition, A Boogie released his B4 BOA EP on September 8 of this year. That 3-track project included the songs “Her Birthday,” “B#### Trap” and “Did Me Wrong.” The EP is a precursor to the upcoming Better Off Alone album.

The Atlantic Records artist also contributed to Metro Boomin’s “Calling” with Swae Lee and Nav. All four men performed the tune off the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

Soulja Boy Reacts To Getting Clowned For His Chain Breaking Onstage

Once again, Soulja Boy is the subject of viral content. The 33-year-old entertainer became the collective internet’s latest punching bag after footage of an onstage mishap made the rounds online.

While performing his “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” single during a recent show, a pendant appears to fall from Soulja Boy’s chain. Video of the moment ignited jokes, memes, and disses on social media.

No Jumper‘s X account shared the footage on September 16. A caption for the Adam22-led outlet’s post read, “Soulja Boy’s chain fell apart while he was performing at his concert 😳.”

SB then specifically took aim at No Jumper. The iSouljaBoyTellem album creator also addressed anyone online clowning his jewelry trouble during his performance.

No Jumper, if you don’t shut your b#### ass up, n####, and stop posting me on your f###### blog with this random s###,” said Soulja Boy into the camera.

The Chicago-born, Atlanta-bred rhymer also added, “I had on tennis chains, n####. I had on too many chains, first of all, I had on tennis chains. This m############ chain is too heavy for this link.”

In addition to Soulja Boy, other Hip Hop figures have called out Adam22 and No Jumper for their media coverage. Joe Budden blasted his fellow podcaster last year. Latto called out the No Jumper founder in February.
