YSL co-founder Mondo criticized Gunna in an interview on the Ugly Money podcast.
Mondo labeled Gunna a snitch for taking a plea deal in the YSL RICO case. Mondo believed the 300 Entertainment rapper panicked after spending months in jail.
“He did what he did, man,” he said. “I ain’t put no cap on it. I ain’t sitting here putting no—hey man, he did what he did. I know this for sure. I ain’t going off what no internet talking ‘bout. I ain’t going off what I’m seeing, all the cap. I’m talking to these folks personally.”
Mondo continued, “On everything I love, I’m talking to—I know what’s going [on]. Boy, you didn’t ‘posed to do that my brother. Even if I didn’t be talking to everybody, everybody who got common sense, everybody who’s been in the streets know you do not—boy, you don’t do no s### like that my brother.”
The YSL co-founder considered Gunna to be a “genuine” person before the RICO case. Mondo refused to accept any excuses for Gunna’s actions.
“Once you do certain s###, bro, we shouldn’t have to coach you to be no real n####,” he said. “So, you can’t say, ‘Oh, they tricked me,’ or ‘Oh, I ain’t talk. I don’t know what’s going on.’ Come on, my brother … It’s certain s### you just don’t do. And hey boy, you crossed the line, my brother … You did that.”
Young Thug and 13 co-defendants face trial in the YSL RICO case. Jury selection is still underway.
T.I. and Tiny Harris made a costly mistake in their case against toymaker MGA Entertainment.
According to multiplereports, a judge declared a mistrial due to the introduction of inadmissible testimony on Wednesday (January 25). MGA’s attorneys convinced Judge James V. Selna to dismiss the case after one of T.I. and Tiny’s witnesses testified about cultural appropriation. The judge barred the topic from testimony in the trial.
“Because of the incurably prejudicial cultural appropriation deposition testimony played to the jury by Counter-Claimants, this Court must declare a mistrial,” the judge wrote. “The previously excluded testimony was nothing less than a rant by the witness about how she ‘stopped purchasing’ the OMG Dolls ‘because [she] did not want to support a company that steals from African Americans and their ideas and profit off it and don’t give African Americans the profit.’”
He added, “The prejudicial nature of this testimony accusing MGA of racist cultural appropriation cannot be understated. There is no unringing the bell, no way for MGA to counter the improper testimony and no instruction the Court can give to cure this problem.”
T.I. and Tiny faced off with MGA in a lawsuit over the company’s OMG Dolls. The couple claimed the toymaker stole the likeness of the OMG Girlz group, which Tiny created.
“This is a straight up & down infringement case on @omggirlz likeness & their creation that we all worked so hard to build,” Tiny wrote on Instagram. “Only to be snatched by a big company with no remorse. I am only fighting for what’s right on behalf of the Girlz & us!!”
T.I. and Tiny’s dispute with MGA went to trial on January 17. The husband and wife sought compensation for the OMG Dolls before their case ended in a mistrial.
Jay-Z sued photographer Jonathan Mannion and his company, Jonathan Mannion Photography LLC, in June 2021. The Roc Nation mogul claimed Mannion—who shot the cover for Jay-Z’s 1996 album Reasonable Doubt—used his likeness and and name without his permission. The case was expected to go to trial in March, but it seems there’s been a change of plans.
According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, Jay-Z and Mannion have asked a judge to vacate the trial. Essentially, they’ve agreed to settle. As the docs explain: “Parties have engaged in settlement discussions and agreed in principle on the terms of the settlement, which includes a stipulated dismissal of this action, subject to execution of a long-form settlement agreement.”
The paperwork also explains Jay-Z and Mannion have been working “diligently” toward finalizing a settlement agreement and made “substantial progress.” Therefore, they are asking the court to throw out the trial.
In the original filing, Jay-Z took note of Mannion’s website, which has images of Jay-Z plastered all over it. But Jay-Z claimed Mannion never had his permission to do so. He also said when he asked Mannion to stop using the images, Mannion demanded millions of dollars. Jay said Mannion was making an “arrogant assumption that because he took those photographs, he can do with them as he pleases.”
Jay-Z hired Mannion to shoot the cover art for Reasonable Doubt in 1996. He wound up taking hundreds of photos for Roc-A-Fella Records and was paid “handsomely.” But it seemed Jay thought that’s where their working relationship would end.
“It’s ironic that a photographer would treat the image of a formerly-unknown Black teenager, now wildly successful, as a piece of property to be squeezed for every dollar it can produce,” the docs said. “It stops today.”
While there doesn’t appear to be many images of Jay-Z left on Mannion’s website, a few album covers do remain. Other photos include the famous faces of Nas, Run-DMC, SZA and Ice Cube, among many others. Both parties have until February 17 to file the proper paperwork. AllHipHop has reached out to Mannion for comment.
Officials in Australia want nothing to do with Kanye West and are asking that he is denied entry because of his outlandish conduct, particularly his celebration of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
According to The Straits Times, on Wednesday, Jan. 25, Minister for Education Jason Clare condemned the “Jesus Walks” artist’s anti-Semitic comments and noted that others who have said similar things have also been denied the necessary paperwork to get into the “Land Down Under.”
“People like that who’ve applied for visas to get into Australia in the past have been rejected,” Clare said in an interview. “I expect that if he does apply, he would have to go through the same process and answer the same questions that they did.”
On Tuesday, Jan. 24, Peter Wertheim, co-chief executive officer of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, was a loud voice speaking out banning the former billionaire.
He said, “We had a sympathetic hearing. We’ve made the case that this particular individual does not meet the character test and that it would be in the national interest not to grant him a visa and we set out our reasons in some detail in that letter.”
One more person that commented on Ye being able to travel to Australia is Peter Dutton, an immigration minister under a previous government. He also believes Kanye should not be allowed in the country.
“His anti-Semitic comments are disgraceful, his conduct, his behavior are appalling,” Dutton advised (even though he has no weight in the decision).
“He’s not a person of good character and the minister has the ability to stop somebody coming into our country of bad character,” he says.
It appears that family drama is brewing for “Love & Hip Hop New York” star Rich Dollaz, as his daughter Ashley Trowers was recently arrested in Memphis for allegedly shooting at her ex-boyfriend yesterday morning (January 24th).
According to TMZ, Ashley was working as security at a Kroger gas station on her first day when her child’s father Demiah Tatum, and another man, Mykel Yates, appeared out of nowhere and approached her in a Cadillac ATS.
Ashley, who has a restraining order against Tatum, was scared when she saw him and was surprised that Tatum knew where she was, as it was her first day on the job, according to the police report.
She attempted to flee the unfolding situation, but the two men caught up to her Ashley told the cops that she thought she saw someone in the car reaching for a gun.
Ashley blasted off two shots into the vehicle and then called the police. According to Yates, her ex-boyfriend pulled up on Ashley to give her some money.
She was taken to Shelby County Jail, where she was charged with aggravated assault and released.
Dave Chappelle believes his critics in the LGBTQ+ community are “trying to take the nuance out of speech.”
While speaking to co-hosts Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey on their podcast “The Midnight Miracle,” the comedian confronted the backlash that has surrounded his work since he made jokes perceived as transphobic in his 2021 Netflix special “The Closer.”
He insisted that he wasn’t “mad” about the backlash itself but the fact his critics think he shouldn’t be allowed to voice his controversial jokes.
“I’m not even mad that they take issue with my work. Good, fine. Who cares? What I take issue with is the idea that because they don’t like it, I’m not allowed to say it,” he said.
“I have a belief that they are trying to take the nuance out of speech in American culture, that they’re making people speak as if they’re either on the right or the left. Everything seems absolute, and any opinion I respect is way more nuanced than these binary choices they keep putting in front of us. I don’t see the world in red or blue.”
He believes his most staunch critics are “trying to silence” and “punish” him for continuing to perform amid the controversy.
Chappelle then cited an incident in Minneapolis, Minnesota last July.
His show was canceled at the city’s First Avenue club due to the backlash and ended up being held the Varsity Theater, which attracted protesters, who allegedly threw eggs at those queueing for the show.
“They (his critics) want to be feared. ‘If you say this, then we will punish you. We’ll come to First Avenue and f### your show up and we’ll come to the Varsity Theater and f### your show up.’ And they just don’t get to do that,” he stated.
ICECOLDBISHOP is exactly what his name embodies, and he’s here to make a lasting impact on the rap game. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the rising star recently unleashed his new single and visual titled “THE GOV’T GAVE US GUNS,” which yields a bold statement addressing society’s obsession with guns and violence — marked by his own experiences growing up in the city of Angels.
In describing himself, ICECOLDBISHOP states, he’s ”a young, responsible young man from Los Angeles, California. I’m just an artist in all capacities: music, film. A rapper first though.”
Currently signed to Epic Records, ICECOLDBISHOP first broke out with his debut single titled “Porch.” Soon after, he blessed the world with a captivating performance of “IRATE” on COLORS, showcasing his introspective lyricism and undeniable energy on the mic.
And if there’s one thing he wants to take away from his music, it’s motivation.
AllHipHop caught up with ICECOLDBISHOP in downtown Los Angeles, to discuss his sound, his roots, love for 50 Cent, his new release, relationship with Alchemist, forthcoming album, and more!
AllHipHop: How would you describe your sound?
ICECOLDBISHOP: My sound is a medley of everything that I’m inspired by. I’m inspired by G-funk. I’m inspired by Southern artists. Some of my favorite artists are from New York: Pusha, 50 Cent. Wayne. But I’m inspired by a medley of things. I love soul music a lot, and funk. A lot of genres inspire me.
AllHipHop: What part of Los Angeles are you from?
ICECOLDBISHOP: I’m from South Central. I grew up off the Adams area, South Central too. My grandmother lived on 39th Street and Budlong, so I grew up over there. I used to go stand on the corner, hearing the USC games and hearing the whole crowd. I could stand on the corner, you can see USC just as clear as that building right there in front of us.
I used to hear the crowd roaring and hearing all the games, hearing everything. Right by the Coliseum, my family had a spot over there. Just all up and down Kings. I grew up like West LA too, that’s where I lived at. A medley of South Central/West LA, so Crenshaw, Jefferson, all the way over here. I was moving around all over LA, but I’m LA/South Central fasho.
AllHipHop: When did you realize you wanted to do music?
ICECOLDBISHOP: I found a passion for at least trying to start writing music. When I heard 50, I said I think I want to do this. I was a Ludacris fan before 50 Cent, but once I heard 50, I think I can do this. That’d be end of 2002/2003, because I had this mixtape that leaked before that.
Then Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ came out, so I said I want to try to do this. I was a big Hot Boys fan before that too. ‘97, ‘98, ‘99, 2000: I was a super big Hot Boys fan. Super. [laughs]
AllHipHop: Obviously you love Wayne then?
ICECOLDBISHOP: I love Wayne, so it started right there. Once Wayne did his individual thing, oh s###. Okay, yeah. He started to holler out that best rapper alive and I believed him.
AllHipHop: You got a favorite Carter of his?
ICECOLDBISHOP: 2, out of all of them. Out of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… 2.
AllHipHop: How’d you get your name?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Bishop is my middle name. Ice Cold, just ice cold with it. It just sounds good. My name gave me that vibe of 1970’s monikers, like Superfly. It had a ring to it, it felt prolific just hearing it all together. It felt like something you want to hear. If you hear ICECOLDBISHOP dropping a rap album, you probably gonna listen to it. If you hear ICECOLDBISHOP dropping a rage album, you’re probably gonna listen to it. If you hear ICECOLDBISHOP is about to drop a funk album, you’re probably gonna listen to it. The name attached to any genre still makes sense to me, so that’s what made me go with that name.
AllHipHop: “THE GOV’T GAVE US GUNS” is a very powerful record. What were you going to recording this one?
ICECOLDBISHOP: I was just reflecting. I was having a lot of conversations with people in my community about what was going on in the community. One of the things that was talked about was how we feel like weapons probably got into the community. It was a conversation, and turned into a whole song. But the conversation thematically fit what I was already doing at the time when I was making this project, so it was almost a conversation turned song.
But these are the conversations we have all the time too, then just getting information. Understanding how LA works and how s### works period. That’s how that song came about: real life experiences, others’ experiences. Inside of that one record.
AllHipHop: What inspired the music video?
ICECOLDBISHOP: So I wrote the treatment myself. I pretty much write all the treatments for my videos.
I wanted to perfectly capture exactly what I was saying. I didn’t want to do too much, I didn’t want to not do enough. But I definitely wanted to make sure I was capturing everything that I was saying. Putting the imagery behind the words made the song a little bit more powerful as well. I’m one of those artists that even if you don’t have a video for it, you can almost see everything that I’m saying. Because I try to that descriptive.
AllHipHop: How’d you find your way to Epic Records?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Really, working with Ceremony of Roses and AG Club. Coming out doing a song with AG Club, the “NOHO” song. We connected on that feature. I came out and performed my set at the Roxy. When I performed my set at the Roxy, Sylvia Rhone from Epic was there. She tapped in on us.
I came out, did my six. That was even before my Day N’ Vegas. So yes, it was that performance. They seen it, they tapped in. Heard the music, seen the vision. Understood where I was coming from and where I wanted to go, and it made sense for both parties.
AllHipHop: What is it you want fans to get from your story?
ICECOLDBISHOP: The most important thing I want to do with my story is motivate. I’m from LA, I don’t gangbang. I’m not familiar, but I’ve been through a lot of the same stuff everybody’s been through. But I’ve also been very smart about the decisions that I’ve made, that I definitely didn’t let my area growing up define me type s###.
I did what I did, but I don’t let that be what I introduce myself as. I don’t let my problem with the way I’m introducing myself. I try to be a beacon of light for s### in different situations. I’m an artist, I’m not coming in here to be the biggest nothing but artist. I’m trying to be the greatest artist. My story will unfold as it happens, but for right now, I want m############ to know I’m here to give everybody great music and art to talk about. Even 10 years from now.
AllHipHop: What’s your relationship with Alchemist?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Big Alc! S###, the relationship with Alchemist really comes from my guy Chuck Inglish. Chuck my boy. I had a session with Chuck and Slade Da Monsta, we made a bunch of s###. Me and Chuck have a great working relationship, still do have a good working relationship. We was chopping it up. He knew I wanted to work with Alch, he told me to pull up on him and Alc. I pulled up on Alc, and Boldy was there. The rest was history. I pulled up something and we got to work. It was pretty dope, Alc’s a cool dude too.
AllHipHop: What can we expect from the album?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Dope music. “THE GOV’T GAVE US GUNS” is definitely a sample size of where we’re going with direction wise for this project. I played for a lot of people, I haven’t gotten any bad responses. It’s been pretty, pretty positive. Extremely positive, almost too good to be true. I’m excited for everybody to hear it.
It’s a lot of different vibes on there. I try a couple different things out. People get to hear all the voices that I can do and all this s### I’m capable of, at least up until that point. I’ve grown more even since I’ve recorded this project. I made this project 2018/2019. It’s been done for some years now, so I’m just ready to finally let people hear it.
AllHipHop: Do you feel you outgrew it?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Nah, not at all. Not at all. I feel like it’s right on time. I’m growing as an artist so once people hear and they hear what I’m growing, they’ll appreciate the progression. They’ll appreciate how much I have grown as an artist, once we get to that point. Where we’re at with this album right now, we’re still pushing the envelope.
Those expectations or everything that I’m saying, that’s what I’m putting on myself. Everyone else says “bro, you already…” That’s how it feels, at least what they’re saying. At least musically, with this project. I definitely feel it’s going to be an album that’s talked about throughout the rest of this year.
AllHipHop: One thing fans may not know about you?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Let me see. When I was seven, my PlayStation 2 broke. This before Google and all that s###, I know what to do. So I took that m########### apart. [laughs] I put that b#### back together and it started working again. I got a picture too. When I was seven or eight, I fixed my own PlayStation without the help of nobody.
AllHipHop: Do you have any goals for yourself?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Yeah, I just want to be consistent. People want to see more consistency for me. I just want to be consistent. That’s the goal that I have for myself, is to continually make the people that support me happy and satisfied as consumers. Because at the end of the day, that’s what we do it for: the people.
AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?
ICECOLDBISHOP: Album coming out first quarter. Album of the year. Once this comes out, you don’t need anything else coming out the rest of the year.
It seems like Mike Tyson’s past is coming up to haunt him.
According to RadarOnline.com, the former heavy champion of the world is at the center of a sexual assault allegation stemming from an incident from the 90s.
The civil case, filed by an anonymous party that is taking advantage of the New York Adult Survivors Act, is seeking $5 million in damages.
The ASA allows individuals who were assaulted years ago to file lawsuits against their victimizers within a one-year window. It also empowers survivors of sexual offenses that occurred when they were over the age of 18, according to New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s website.
The one-year window will begin six months from signing in May 2022 and will allow survivors to sue regardless of the statute of limitations (typically 20 years) until this upcoming May 2023.
In her affidavit, she said, “I got in Tyson’s limousine to pick up my friend from her house.”
“I told him no several times and asked him to stop, but he continued to attack me. He then pulled my pants off and violently raped me,” she continued.
She said she has continued to suffer from physical, psychological, and emotional injury that includes feelings of shame, embarrassment, anger, worthlessness, and perpetual sadness.
“I have experienced extreme emotional suffering including but not limited to nightmares, panic attacks, and flashbacks,” Jane Doe wrote.
The billion-dollar power couple of Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter heads into the 65th Annual Grammy Awards with a combined 14 nominations.
In fact, Beyoncé and JAY-Z both sit atop the list of most career Grammy nominations in history (88). Bey has already won 28 Grammys, while Jay has 24 golden gramophones to his name.
Beyoncé holds the record for most Grammy wins for a female artist. She tied Quincy Jones for second place all time. Watch The Throne collaborators Jay-Z and Kanye West are tied for most Grammy wins by a Hip-Hop artist.
The Carters have a good chance to add more trophies to their household total at this year’s Grammy Awards. But will either of the music icons hit the Crypto.com Arena stage on February 5 as well?
A new report by HitsDailyDouble claims JAY-Z will likely perform at the 2023 Grammy ceremony next month. The Brooklyn, New York native could be part of a live set by DJ Khaled.
DJ Khaled’s “God Did” Scored JAY-Z Multiple Grammy Nominations
JAY-Z scored three Grammy nods as a guest feature on the “God Did” record. The title track of DJ Khaled’s thirteenth studio album is up for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Song Of The Year.
While television viewers might get to see JAY-Z and Khaled run through the posse cut which also features Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend and Fridayy, it appears Beyoncé will not make the performance lineup.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Beyoncé has not committed to appearing on the Grammy show. The Houston-raised megastar goes into the evening with the most nominations for any act (nine).
The Recording Academy nominated Beyoncé for three of the Big Four categories. Renaissance made it into the Album Of The Year category. “Break My Soul” picked up noms for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year.
Chlöe Bailey informed her 1.7 million Twitter followers to prepare for the upcoming In Pieces studio album. The 24-year-old singer/actress revealed the month of the LP’s release date.

Bronx-born rapper Ice Spice has become one of the rising music acts to watch in 2023. The 10K Projects/Capitol recording artist dropped her debut extended play Like..? on January 20.
Where is the 6-track Like..? expected to launch on next week’s Billboard 200 album chart? According to HitsDailyDouble, Ice Spice will likely fall short of cracking the Top 20 region.
Ice Spice’s Like..? is on pace to open with around 14,500 first-week units. That total probably will not be enough to surpass releases like SZA’s 2017 LP Ctrl (17,600 projected units) or Lil Baby’s 2020 LP My Turn (17,800 projected units).
Like..? hosts the “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood” singles. Fellow New Yorker Lil Tjay is the only guest feature on the EP. Lil Tjay appears on the record titled “Gangsta Boo.”
“I made the song, and then I was just thinking who I would hear on it really. But I wanted it to be a real genuine collab,” said Ice Spice about “Gangsta Boo” featuring Lil Tjay. “We’ve been friends since last year, so I was just like, ‘Yeah, who better than him?’”
Ice Spice scored her first Billboard charts entry with “Munch (Feelin’ U).” The song earned spots on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 (#5), Rhythmic Airplay (#28), nd Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (#34) rankings in 2022.
“Munch (Feelin’ U)” has amassed 40 million streams on Spotify. The song’s music video collected 26 million views on YouTube. “Bikini Bottom” and “In Ha Mood” collected an additional 23 million Spotify plays.
SZA’s SOS (133,000 projected units) is expected to remain at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart for a monumental seventh consecutive week. Ice Spice’s 10K Projects labelmate, Trippie Redd, should secure his seventh Top 10 project with the Mansion Musik album (55,000 projected units).
Most of the world was first introduced to King Harris as the elementary school-aged child of T.I. and Tiny on The Family Hustle reality show. In recent years, King made news headlines for getting arrested.
In addition, King received online backlash from social media users who believe the 18-year-old musician glorifies a street life that he never actually lived. T.I. publicly addressed his son’s questionable actions last September.
“I know my son,” said T.I. in a video posted to Instagram. “Think I ain’t spoke to my son? Think I ain’t told my son, his mama, and his grandmama? His ass is going to prison if he keeps that s### up, his ass is going to prison.”
Club Shay Shay podcast host Shannon Sharpe recently asked T.I. about the public judging his life and parenting skills. The 42-year-old Grammy Award winner reflected on the negative reactions to King Harris’s legal troubles.
T.I. Has A Message For Parents With At Least Three Children
“I have excellent communication with all my kids. I try to listen as much as I speak to them. [King’s] position is, ‘I just don’t want to be celebrities’ kid. I don’t want to live off of y’all’s success. I don’t wanna have to just be in y’all’s shadow,'” T.I. explained to Sharpe.
The Atlanta-bred entertainer added, “[King] wants a clean slate. I try to tell him he’ll never have that… You were born with it. You can’t give it back… I love him and I understand he has a strong sense of moral standards and integrity.”
At one point, T.I. turned his attention to other parents of multiple children. The father of six also said, “As much criticism I received about my son, I would like to shed light on the fact – we all got badass kids! They can seem like I’m the only one on here who got badass kids.”
Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Marshall “Eminem” Mathers are two of the most commercially successful rap superstars of all time. According to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, his mentor’s legacy is greater than Jay-Z’s.
50 Cent rose to prominence two decades ago as a musical protégé of Eminem. The G-Unit leader also has a long-standing competitive rivalry with Jay-Z that dates back to the 1990s.
So it comes as no surprise that 50 Cent would back Eminem in a debate over Em’s cultural significance versus Jay-Z’s cultural significance. Former NBA player Jamal Crawford sparked that Slim Shady/Hov discussion.
Jamal Crawford Makes His Case For Jay-Z Over Eminem
“You can’t change the game and say, ‘This guy has more points, he’s better.’ It’s beyond that. Jay-Z’s effect on Hip Hop is bigger than any album sales Eminem will have. That’s just how it goes,” argued Crawford on Shaquille O’Neal’s The Big Podcast.
The Hip-Hop Wolf Instagram account reposted Jamal Crawford’s comments about Jay-Z and Eminem on the social media platform. In response, 50 Cent jumped into Hip-Hop Wolf’s IG comment section to respond, “Ha b####### 🤧.”
50 Cent’s Instagram comment about Jay-Z vs Eminem
The 50 Cent/Jay-Z Rivalry Started Over A LightHearted Diss Track
50 Cent took aim at Jay-Z, and many other rappers, on his classic street record “How to Rob” which dropped in 1999. Jay fired back at 50 on “It’s Hot (Some Like It Hot)” from the Brooklynite’s Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter album that same year.
The last twenty-four years have seen 50 Cent repeatedly throw shots at Jay-Z for various reasons. For example, in April 2022, the Queens native said Jay looks like a “gay painter” over speculation that the Roc Nation boss tried to block 50 from performing at Super Bowl LVI.
Jay-Z and Eminem worked together on the “Renegade” track which lives on Jay’s 2001 masterpiece The Blueprint studio LP. Both emcees/moguls also teamed up for the two-city The Home & Home stadium tour in 2010.
Coi Leray has been busy while over in Europe, taking Paris Fashion Week by storm before linking with Pharrell Williams while in the City of Love.
While doing a string of guest appearances on local shows, the “Players” hitmaker has also been hitting the studio. She arrived in London earlier this week and hit the studio with the U.K. R&B group Flo. The “Trendsetter” also revealed she has already made music with one of London’s fastest-rising music stars, drill rapper Central Cee.
“I love Central Cee, I think he’s amazing,” Coi Leray stated. “His music is so fire, we actually have a song together, it might come out one day, I don’t know.”
While Coi Leray loves her song with Central Cee, they recorded the track a couple of years ago, and both artists have progressed so much in their careers since then. However, she would like to get back in the studio with the “Doja” hitmaker.
“We made it and the song’s fire but we’ve grown so much since then,” she added. “It was probably like two years ago so I would love to get the studio and make more.” Check out the clip below.
Meanwhile, Coi Leray linked with Hip-Hop icon Pharrell Williams on her Paris trip.
She shared a series of images from the pair together in a Paris studio this weekend. “TAKES A TRENDSETTER TO KNOW ONE 👀 PHARRELL X CL,” she penned in the caption.
An alleged interrogation video of Boston Richey surfaced online amid claims the Epic Records rapper is a two-time snitch.
The Tallahassee, Florida native went viral earlier this month after vlogger 1090 Jake shared paperwork claiming Richey snitched in two separate cases. It was claimed he agreed to talk to cops about his involvement in a 2013 case where he and two people were charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
Meanwhile, just weeks before, 6ix9ine also accused Boston Richey of being a rat. He shared paperwork that claimed Richey cooperated with authorities in a murder case back when he was 19 years old.
6IX9INE shares Real Boston Richey’s alleged paperwork and says “everyone had something to say now people don’t got voices or opinions” 👀 pic.twitter.com/0Wzab2wXJE
However, Boston Richey claims he’s being hated on, and has tried to clear his name. A TikTok video shows a series of Instagram messages between the rapper and an unknown person.
“I’m tryna see how I snitched when it completely say I told him nothing that took place had nothing to do with that murder as in him not doing it,” Richey said, referring to the allegations. “N##### just hating on me bruh tryna blemish my image u feel me cause n##### kno I’m da hottest out and ain’t fwh.”
His co-defendant in the Grand Theft Auto case says Boston Richey never told on anybody. During an interview with Say Cheese! The co-defendant explained, “It was more of a like misinterpretation in the paperwork.”
Meanwhile, on Tuesday evening (Jan. 24), Vlogger 1090 Jake shared an interrogation video, allegedly showing Boston Richey snitching to cops. He claims Richey identifies various players in the case and “name drops” an “alleged shooter” before naming gang members.

Motorhead Rick Ross may be a car lover with a famed car collection of over 100 motors, an annual car show, and a record label named after a luxury automobile, but there’s one vehicle the Biggest Boss refuses to ride in, a Tesla.
The Maybach Music mogul says he’s never driven one of Elon Musk’s autonomous cars because he doesn’t trust them. Rick Ross shared the bizarre conspiracy in an Instagram video on Tuesday (Jan. 24).
“I’ve never ridden in a Tesla, never,” Rozay admitted. “And the reason being is because I’ve always had in the back of my mind, the government could tap into the brain of the car.”
Rick Ross then played out a scenario where authorities locate his car which then drives him directly to the station. “It’s leaving Wingstop before the wings is ready,” he joked while adding hilarious sound effects. “You pull up to the building and the agent walk out, ‘Hey Rick.’”
However, Rick Ross failed to mention his conspiracy theory when asked about Tesla’s highly anticipated Cybertruck. “That’s something Elon gon’ have to convince me,” he told Hot New Hip-Hop last year. “Next time I bump into him, he gon’ have to convince me into that.”
Nonetheless, Rick Ross is convinced about a trip to Mars on board one of Elon Musk’s spaceships. Last February, he chopped it up with the SpaceX founder alongside Diddy and French Montana at Ye‘s Donda 2 listening party. He told the billionaire he and his fellow rappers need tickets for his mission to Mars. Check out the video below.

While Rihanna has the Halftime Show covered, the NFL announced three additional performers as part of the Super Bowl LVII pre-show next month.
Abbott Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often referred to as the Black national anthem, and R&B legend Babyface will deliver a rendition of “America the Beautiful.”
Completing the trio of performers at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12, country singer Chris Stapleton will sing the national anthem.
“I can safely say that I never saw this one coming,” Babyface told TMZ after the surprise announcement. “I was honored that I got the call.”
Despite more than four decades of hitmaking, the Grammy Award-winning singer, producer and musician admitted he was nervous about performing on football’s biggest day.
“I’ll be completely rattled,” he added. “As much as I’m going to try to be comfortable with it, I know I’m gonna be nervous, because you think about how many people you’re actually performing for and what that moment means.”
Babyface shared a poster on social media announcing his upcoming Super Bowl appearance. “Truly excited and honored to perform America the Beautiful at Super Bowl LVII and to be a part of this pregame lineup,” he penned in the caption.
The Platinum artist also revealed he is preparing a collaboration with the clothing company Shine the Light On to pay tribute to his mother, who passed away in 2012.
Meanwhile, Sheryl Lee Ralph was overjoyed at the honor, exclaiming, “Someone wake me up from this dream!”
She also took to Instagram to share the poster, writing, “Come on now. Don’t you ever give up on you baby! I’ll be singing Lift Every Voice and Sing at Super Bowl LVII – See you there.”
Kim Kardashian has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker.
The SIMS founder sought the protection of the court after the man allegedly came to her house multiple times, according to a report by TMZ. Legal papers obtained by the outlet filed by Kim’s attorney, Shawn Holley, claim 28-year-old Jomonie Victor Zigler first contacted Kim Kardashian in December.
He made multiple visits to the home she shares with her four children but was stopped by security. He also referred to her as his “wife” and shared explicit posts online about Kim.
In addition, the docs claim Zigler has also sent Kim Kardashian items to her home. Among them were a diamond ring and a set of hotel room keys.
Kim says Zigler has a criminal history that includes firearms and threats. The reality TV star also claimed that his actions caused emotional distress.
The judge granted Kim a temporary restraining order. Zigler is bound by the terms of the order until he attends a hearing next month.
Alleged Stalker Insisted He Was Talking To Kim Kardashian “Telepathically”
Kim Kardashian has had multiple encounters with alleged stalkers in the past.
Just last December, the prison reform advocate was granted a five-year restraining order. She alleged Andre Persaud showed up at her home three times in one month.
According to Kim, Persaud said he was armed and “claimed that I had been communicating with him telepathically.” He is forbidden from contacting Kim or coming within 100 yards of her.
In May, the 42-year-old sought a restraining order against an obsessed fan who allegedly threatened her and her loved ones in a series of “disturbing” letters sent to her home.
“In multiple letters, he has threatened to kill me. He has made numerous false and delusional claims about me and my intimate relationships. He has also made disturbing sexual references about me in his letters,” Kim Kardashian wrote in the restraining order request.
A judge in Los Angeles granted Kim Kardashian a temporary restraining order banning the man from contacting her or coming within 100 years of her and her home.
Kanye West won’t be seeing his name in newspaper ads anytime soon—at least not any related to the Greenberg Traurig Law Firm.
According to court docs obtained by AllHipHop, United States District Judge Analisa Torres found Greenberg Traurig failed to make “diligent efforts” to locate Kanye West. Consequently, Torres denied Greenberg Traurig’s request to use Los Angeles newspapers to find him.
Instead, Torres suggested they hired a private investigator to determine Kanye West’s whereabouts.
The law firm did score a small victory, however, and was granted an extension. Torres is now giving them until February 15 to properly serve Ye with the necessary paperwork.
The document was dated Tuesday (January 24), meaning they have roughly three weeks to pull it off.
Have you ever had a client who was difficult to contact? You're not alone. Greenberg Traurig is said to have run newspaper ads to advise Kanye West of a Withdrawal Order:https://t.co/l4BwUXhdGx
Greenberg Traurig filed the request last week, arguing: “Publication of the Withdrawal Order’s contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Kanye West appears to reside, will also apprise him of the Withdrawal Order. Given Ye’s public status, publication of the Withdrawal Order will likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication and provide an even greater likelihood of apprising Ye of the Order.”
Greenberg Traurig was representing Kanye West in his legal battle against Ultra International Music Publishing.
In December 2022, they asked for an extension to serve West after dropping him as a client. The attorneys needed to serve Ye before moving on from a copyright infringement lawsuit against him.
Torres granted Greenberg Traurig’s motion to withdraw as West’s counsel on November 30, 2022. Torres also instructed the law firm to personally serve their ex-client with a court order by December 13, which they evidently could’t do.
