During the last two years, the Houston native has toured the world, performing on the biggest stages while putting out her latest album, Traumazine. Megan has also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Texas Southern University and acted in shows including She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
At the end of next month, she continues her grueling tour schedule heading out to Australia before returning stateside to perform in L.A. in December. However, as she announced to her fans on Saturday, Megan Thee Stallion is “physically and emotionally” exhausted and in need of rest.
The “Plan B” hitmaker returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend (Oct. 15), performing as host and musical guest.
“Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break,” Megan Thee Stallion announced before the show. “I’m so tired, physically and emotionally.”

Megan shared the announcement hours after TMZ reported the rapper’s home was burglarized on Friday. Two thieves broke in and allegedly made off with $300k-$400k in jewelry, cash, and electronics. Cops say the men smashed a glass door to enter the house. Megan Thee Stallion was not home at the time. No arrests have been made.
“Wow,” she tweeted on Friday evening, seemingly in response to the alleged burglary. “Material things can be replaced but I’m glad everyone is safe.”
During her SNL monologue, Megan Thee Stallion explained how important it is for her to help the people in her community. She then gave a shout-out to her new mental health resource site.
“That’s why I launched my website that provides access to resources for those struggling with mental health. ‘Badbitcheshavebaddaystoo.com’” she said referring to her site. “That’s a real website. I can’t believe the domain wasn’t already taken. It’s supposed to be called ‘Hotgirlbummer’ but somebody stole It. You know who you are.” Watch her monologue in full below.
Viewers heavily criticized the rapper-turned-podcaster for not checking Ye when he said Floyd died from fentanyl rather than asphyxiation. “If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” Kanye West added. George Floyd’s family are considering suing Ye over the comments, their attorney revealed on Sunday.
Even before the episode aired, fans slammed N.O.R.E. online once clips of the show began circulating.
“I’m sorry, but @noreaga should be ashamed of that interview,” read one tweet. “And I love N.O.R.E. – music, everything. I don’t know him personally, but he seems like a good guy, but he should be ashamed of that interview. You can’t do that unless you are going to challenge and discuss things.”

N.O.R.E. Questions Kanye West About “White Lives Matter” Comments
An extended clip of N.O.R.E. questioning Kanye West about his recent “White Lives Matter” stance was uploaded to the Drink Champs YouTube channel.
“But when you wear the White Lives Matter shirt,” N.O.R.E told Kanye West, “it kinda takes away from everything from Black people. Because what it is is the same way you wear the confederate flag, and we’re like, ‘Damn.’ And I know you. I love you. I f### with you, you my brother. So I take this. And I’m a real n####. And I’m a real n#### in the streets every day. But, even me, I question, like, why would you try to… Like, even when you said, George Floyd […] ‘I can prove that somebody wasn’t on his neck.’ We don’t even care about that, Ye.”
N.O.R.E. continued: “We Black people. We… we’re Black Panthers. We’re the people that you gotta f### with. You… we f##### with you when it was time to say that we f##### with you. We wanna continue to follow you. We do. You are Ye. But when the White Lives Matter… We know White lives matter. We know that. But Black Lives Matter…When we are getting killed every f###### single day, we have to notice that.”
Eventually, Kanye stated, “’White Lives Matter'” doesn’t mean that Black lives don’t matter.” N.O.R.E. replied, “That’s what we need you to say, Ye.” Watch the clip below and read the tweets criticizing the podcast host at the end of the page.
N.O.R.E. also took to Twitter to respond to one critic. “Relaax we all make mistakes!!!” he penned before adding, “I’m sorry my fault!!!”
Meanwhile, N.O.R.E. shared another video revealing the last three days have given him pause for thought. “I’m starting to realize free speech ain’t free,” he claimed. “Some people got to pay for free speech. Im just not one that’s willing to do it.”
N.O.R.E is super irresponsible to allow Kanye yet another platform to basically lie and say George Floyd wasn’t murdered. Also allowing Candace Owens plugs too? And allowing this after the WLM shirts and anti-Semitic rants. Disgusting

If you’re willing to take 3 hours out of your day to listen to Kanye talk to N.O.R.E.’s high ass who you are a fool. Drink Champs is not a political show it’s a show to kick back and talk about Hip Hop Culture. Kanye has chosen to sellout the culture period. F### him!
First of all, let’s start this off with some Hip-Hop. Mase, Jadakiss and Cam’ron have a song together. They call it “Gorilla, Lion, Hyena.” I was wondering which of them is the hyena. I think I know, but you tell me. Anyway, the song is pretty cool. I won’t say its revolutionary or anything groundbreaking, but its cool.
Let me know what you think. These guys are on tour together and may be a super group before its all said and done. They are dope though.
Anyway, it seems to me that Cam has another potential career in comedy. He has been fun for a long time and it continues to this day. He decided to send Nia Long a DM and posted it.
Kanye West continues to cause outrage with his controversial remarks and could now be hit with a lawsuit by the family of George Floyd following the DONDA rapper’s latest appearance on Drink Champs, where he claimed Floyd died as a result of fentanyl.
On Sunday (Oct 16), civil rights attorney and attorney for George Floyd’s family, Lee Merrit, confirmed a lawsuit could be on the way.
“While one cannot defame the dead, the family of #GeorgeFloyd is considering suit for Kanye’s false statements about the manner of his death,” Merritt penned on Twitter.
While one cannot defame the dead, the family of #GeorgeFloyd is considering suit for Kanye’s false statements about the manner of his death.
Claiming Floyd died from fentanyl not the brutality established criminally and civilly undermines & diminishes the Floyd family’s fight.
During the Drink Champs episode, Kanye West incorrectly stated that George Floyd died from taking fentanyl. “I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out… They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” Ye said.
Merritt continued: “Claiming Floyd died from fentanyl not the brutality established criminally and civilly undermines & diminishes the Floyd family’s fight.”
Kanye West made his comments after attending the premier of “Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM.” The documentary was made by controversial conservative commentator and vocal “Black Lives Matter” critic Candace Owens.
“To my beloved fam, friends and starz thank you for sending love and light my way,” she wrote. “I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon.”
Two people were shot at an Asian Doll concert during homecoming festivities at Livingstone College.
Additionally, multiple people were injured according to Salisbury, North Carolina police.
Asian Doll was performing on stage at the time of the shooting, which occurred after a fight broke out. Neither of the people shot were Livingstone students. Some of those that were injured was a result of the chaos after shot rang out. Earlier rumors stated that three people were shot.
Police are reportedly investigating further. according to WSOC-TV, students were forced to flee from both the fight and the shots. All of this happened approximately at 11 PM, when police campus police responded to the alert.
“I’m saddened that after a week of homecoming activities without incident, our students, alumni, their families and friends had to witness this senseless act of gun violence,” Livingstone College President Dr. Anthony J. Davis said. “My prayer is that the community will respond to Livingstone College in the same manner it responded when gunfire erupted at a holiday basketball tournament in December.”
“Why y’all acting like Ian been told y’all my middle name hallelujah?” she posted. “Dats why I’m so blessed & my p#### so good duhhhhhh!!!! Common damn sense.”
Gloria later responded to a fan reacting to the name, which means “praise the Lord.”
Ciara can’t wait for fans to try the “unique” formulas in her new skincare line.
The “Goodies” hitmaker unveiled the OAM (On A Mission) range last month, with the products harnessing the power of vitamin C.
But while it could be argued that the beauty market is now saturated with celebrity-backed brands, during an interview for the November 2022 issue of Allure, Ciara brushed off any competition concerns.
“Honestly, I don’t really think about what everyone else is doing so much because I know the uniqueness of my product,” she insisted.
In fact, the singer is excited to see so many more female-founded companies emerge.
“You look around, and you’re starting to see more women building out their beauty brands. I think that’s pretty amazing because it shows the power of how you can really build something if you desire to, and it’s also showing you the power of your platform,” the 36-year-old continued. “It’s been amazing to see how women have been taking charge and flipping the way we thought we always had to go through someone to do something. No, you can do it yourself.
“I think that’s a really beautiful thing that’s happening.”
The OAM line, tested and proven for all skin tones and types, includes a cleanser, brightening serum, and moisturizer. Items are available to purchase from the company’s website.
Old audio is recirculating revealing one of the most explosive scandals of R&B couple, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s marriage.
Brown shared that his now-deceased wife had an elicit affair with Death Row rapper, Tupac Shakur.
In the clip, taken from his audiobook “Every Little Step,” Bobby Brown states Whitney cheated on him with several people, but the one he felt most comfortable about sharing was her relationship w the “I Get Around” chart-topper.
According to the King of R&B, his former wife’s the relationship with Pac started early in their marriage— when he felt they were doing ok.
Eventually the relationship ended, but apparently her feelings for the rapper did not, saying that became clear on the day Pac died.
Brown said the two of them were together when the news of his death became public. And Whitney could not contain her grief.
In fact, according to Brown, she cried several days and he knew it was not just her he grieving of a fellow artist but the intimate sadness that came from losing a lover.
Both Tupac and Whitney died prematurely. Shakur was fatally shot in September of 1996, and his murder remains unsolved. Houston died in a drowning after overdosing the night before the 2012 Grammys.
Issa Rae has called out the Hollywood movie industry for protecting Ezra Miller despite their controversial behavior.
The “Justice League” actor, who uses they/them pronouns, has been involved in a string of controversies, legal issues, and run-ins with the police this year, but Warner Bros. still intends to release their standalone superhero movie “The Flash” next June.
In an interview with ELLE magazine, the “Insecure” actress criticized Hollywood for being “literally the worst industry when it comes to punishing people for misdeeds and actions” and cited the Miller case as a clear example of Hollywood being “very bad about consequences.”
“I’m gonna be real, the stuff that’s happening with Ezra Miller is, to me, a microcosm of Hollywood,” she said. “There’s this person who’s a repeat offender, who’s been behaving atrociously, and as opposed to shutting them down and shutting the production down, there’s an effort to save the movie and them. That is a clear example of the lengths that Hollywood will go to to save itself and to protect offenders.”
The embattled actor hit the headlines in March when they were arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in Hawaii. The 30-year-old pleaded no contest to the first charge and paid a fine and court costs while the harassment count was dropped.
In June, they were slapped with two restraining orders, the first to prevent the actor from seeing an 18-year-old activist they were allegedly involved with, and the second to stop them from allegedly harassing a mother and her child.
The “Fantastic Beasts” star was also charged with felony burglary in Vermont in August.
Miller apologized for their erratic behavior in August and announced that they are undergoing treatment for “complex mental health issues” following a period of “intense crisis.”
He said Dov Charney, the CEO of Los Angeles Apparel, was ready to manufacture and distribute the White Lives Matter T-shirt, despite the uproar it caused in the black community.
But Charney halted the deal when Ye started making anti-semitic comments on Instagram and Twitter.
“And I’m like, see. This is my exact point that I’m making. Jewish people have owned the Black voice, whether it’s through us wearing a Ralph Lauren shirt, or all of us being signed to a record label, or having a Jewish manager or being signed to a Jewish basketball team, or doing a movie on a Jewish platform like Disney,” Ye said.
“I respect what the Jewish people have done, and how they brought their people together,” the rapper said, claiming Jews came into money as lawyers on Wall Street who would divorce people when Catholics would not.
“With me and Jay with our culture, with the darker Jews, the 12 Lost Tribes of Israel, who we are, because we Jewish also. We from Africa, we the blood of Christ. So we’re not just black. We are a Jew, just like the Jewish people. And now we’re coming into money.
“But the main thing is, I got to drink the D’usse [Black owned] over the Hennessy as the first step to us coming together. Like how to Jewish people came together,” Ye said.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9poSAJyXNA
“I remember Ben Horowitz called me after 4:44 and said ‘I don’t know about Jay giving up Jewish business secrets.’ These secrets, they not finna be a secret no more. If somebody tells me ‘I want to tell you this, but it’s a secret.’ I’m like, ‘I’m not your personal hard drive.’ Like if you want [it] to be a secret. Don’t tell me,” Ye said.
His discussion on Jewish people did not stop there. He also discussed the role Jews have played in the music and entertainment industry and how they have supposedly held Black artists back so they could make money for the Jewish community.
“The Jewish community, especially in the music industry and entertainment period, they’ll take one of us, the brightest of us, that can feed a whole village and take us and milk us till we die. And then Stevie Wonder’s son got to get a job,” Ye explained.
“But Cameron Azoff [Irving Azoff’s son] got a job at Apple. He’s already set up because of the way [Irving] Azoff [former CEO of Live Nation] is connected. And we have to make our own connections,” the rapper said.
Ye also claimed that the Jewish-controlled media was intentionally attempting to make him look crazy due to his well-known battle with bipolar disorder.
Ye said this was highlighted in the Netflix documentary “jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy,” directed by his childhood friends Coodie & Chike. The Chicago native seemed particularly bothered by part 3 of the documentary, which touched on Ye’s mental health and his nervous breakdown in 2016.
“So they’ll go and get a dude that’s supposed to be my friend, and that’s been taping me the whole time, and buy this n#### out for $30 million. I ain’t co-sign it, but you get used to that. Paparazzi taking a picture you, you ain’t getting no money off it. You just get used to getting screwed by the Jewish media. And I’m saying y’all done poked the bear too f###### long. When I wore the White Lives Matter tee, I had four SoFi Stadium shows. They canceled my shows. I said it’s up.”
The rapper blasted them both for failing to speak up when The Kardashians “Kidnapped” his daughter North and attempted to keep him from attending her birthday party.
“I don’t got no celebrity friends. Because when I was on TV on Instagram saying, ‘I don’t know where my child is,’ and ‘the Kardashians kidnapped my daughter in public,’ and ‘I didn’t have the address to my child,’ none of these n##### that want to say something now…as far as Meek Mills, Puff Daddy, all you fake hard n##### f### you. You can’t shoot nobody anyway.
The reason why you got to talk is because you did a deal, you f###### fed. That’s why you got to come at me because part of the deal for you and…to get out of jail is that you promised that you gone to go pull my coat card. So y’all n##### shut the f### up about me. Let me say calm. You n##### shut the f### up about Michael. I’m Michael [Corleone]. I don’t get enough celebrity friends.
Silk Sonic stars Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak will not submit their album An Evening with Silk Sonic for Grammy consideration.
Bruno revealed in a statement that the duo are not submitting the 2021 album to the Recording Academy to be considered for nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards.
“We truly put our all on this record, but Silk Sonic would like to gracefully, humbly, and most importantly, sexually, bow out of submitting our album this year,” he said. “We hope we can celebrate with everyone on a great year of music and partake in the party. “Andy and I, and everyone that worked on this project, won the moment the world responded to ‘Leave The Door Open.’ Everything else was just icing on the cake,” Mars continued. “We thank the Grammys for allowing us to perform on their platform – not once but twice – and awarding us at last year’s ceremony. We’d be crazy to ask for anything more. Thank you to everyone that supported this project and championed it.”
The 2023 Grammy Awards will take place on February 5th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Damon Wayans and his son Damon Wayans Jr are heading to the small screen for a new comedic series that will air on CBS. Read more!
Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr have signed on for a father-son comedy series at CBS.
According to editors at Deadline, the as-yet-untitled program will follow a divorced talk radio host who helps his 40-year-old son grow up.
Co-written by the elder Wayans and Kevin Hench, the multi-camera comedy show is two decades in the making.
The project is being produced for CBS Studios, with Wayans, Hench, and Wayans Jr set to executive produce.
The show marks the 62-year-old’s return to television after his role in ABC’s “My Wife and Kids,” which ran from 2001 until 2005.
Meanwhile, Wayans Jr, 39, made his acting debut as the elder Wayans’s son on the ABC series before moving on to small-screen stardom with appearances in the likes of “Happy Endings,” “New Girl,” and “Happy Together.”
A potential release date for the show has not yet been announced.
He later doubled down on the antisemitic comments by tweeting he was, “going death con 3 (sic) On JEWISH PEOPLE”.
The comments drew widespread condemnation from the likes of Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Jamie Lee Curtis, John Legend, and Jack Antonoff, as well as leaders from Jewish community organizations.
However, some expressed concern that a mental health episode might be behind the comments, as West has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and the latest comments came amid a spate of erratic behavior.
Paul Stanley, who is Jewish, has been supportive in the past when West has faced criticism over his actions but tweeted that mental illness cannot be used as a pass for spreading hate.
Mental Illness IS a disease but should NEVER be used to minimize the danger of hate speech, advocating anti-semitism and violence against religions or ethnicities. We have found ways over centuries to rationalize this behavior and viewed the atrocities that followed. SPEAK UP! pic.twitter.com/ULtcRk8lPs

Kanye West shocked fans last week when he wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt during an appearance at Paris Fashion Week, drawing a backlash.
He later doubled down on his views as part of an interview on Fox News and made an inflammatory comment about Lizzo’s weight.
Swizz Beatz opened a pop-up skating rink in Saudi Arabia.
The veteran producer launched Al-‘Ula on Wheels, which is described as an immersive sound skating experience. Swizz Beatz curated the pop-up to offer three weekends of skating and music in the city of Al-‘Ula.
“If you know me, you know I love roller skating,” Swizz Beatz told Page Six. “There is no other feeling quite like the energy of a skating rink. Bringing the first immersive roller skating experience to Al-‘Ula is an incredible honor.”
Al-‘Ula on Wheels attendees get to skate on an open-air rink with an international DJ headlining each weekend.
“To merge … roller skating and local culture… at this ancient, and almost mythical location is really special,” Swizz Beatz said.
He added, “Al-‘Ula on Wheels is the ultimate expression of feel-good nostalgia. To bring the world’s freshest music and all-star talent to an open-air skate rink in the ancient city is a dream come true.”
Swizz Beatz’s Al-‘Ula On Wheel will be open until October 22. The Grammy winner created the pop-up with his Good Intentions creative agency, which he founded in Saudi Arabia in 2021.
The skating rink experience is part of the 2022 Al-‘Ula Wellness Festival.

Lizzo responded in an interview to accusations that she used an ableist slur in the hit song “Grrrls.”
While speaking to Vanity Fair for an interview published on October 11th, the singer addressed criticism that her track contained an ableist slur.
Featured on her album Special, the song includes the lyric, “Hold my bag, b####, hold my bag / Do you see this s###? I’m a spaz.”
The line was criticized for using the word “spaz,” a shortening of the word “spastic.” This word has roots in the 1980s United Kingdom when it was used to bully people with cerebral palsy.
In her Vanity Fair interview, the R&B star explained why she wrote it.
“I’d never heard it used as a slur against disabled people, never ever. The music I make is in the business of feeling good and being authentic to me,” she said. “Using a slur is unauthentic to me, but I did not know it was a slur.”
She continued, “It’s a word I’ve heard a lot, especially in rap songs, and with my Black friends and in my Black circles: It means to go off, turn up. I used (it as a) verb, not as a noun or adjective.
“I used it in the way that it’s used in the Black community.”
Controversial rapper Kanye West will be returning to N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs” to talk about the whirlwind of events that has happened over the last month.
The last time the producer-turned-fashion designer was on the show, he blasted everyone from artists that he signed like John Legend and Big Sean, to artists he came up with like Talib Kweli.
Ye doubled down on his relationship with the former president, Donald Trump and shared private conversations with everyone from Jay-Z to Lauryn Hill.
Ye also reveled in one conversation where he boasted he was richer than everyone else on the podcast.
Now, the rapper is substantially less wealthy after he terminated his deal with Gap, reducing his estimated $6.6 billion net worth to a little over $2 billion. That $2 billion is in jeopardy, as AllHipHop.com has reported, because he is in conflict with Adidas, his current partner for his Yeezy athletic brand.
During the last visit to the platform, rooted in giving legacy artists their just due, Ye spent hours dropping names of people he has worked with or is friends with.
With this upcoming session, the world is sure to get an ear full with him talking about his “White Lies Matter,” how he feels about the new Kardashian show on Hulu, his Donda school, how Sway always had the answers, his antisemitic comments and more.
Britney Spears has claimed her mother, Lynne Spears, once slapped her for partying until 4am back in 2006.
Following the termination of her controversial conservatorship last November, the popstar has regularly criticized her family, including mom Lynne and dad Jamie, for their treatment of her over the 13-year arrangement.
Taking to Instagram, Britney posted a clip of the famous scene in the 2005 movie “Monster-in-Law” in which Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez slap each other, and in the accompanying caption, noted that she would “give anything” to do the same.
“I swear I’ve never slapped anyone my whole life!!! I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO SEE WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE … JUST SAYING!!!” she wrote.
Britney then alleged Lynne slapped her for going out clubbing with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan following her 2006 breakup from Kevin Federline, the father of her sons Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16.
“The first time I ever got slapped was the one night Paris (Hilton) and Lindsay (Lohan) dropped me off at my beach house with my babies!!! Kevin left me at that point, so I had a small beach house and my mother was watching Jayden and Preston … yes I partied till like 4am and my mother was P#####!!!!” the “Toxic” hitmaker continued. “I walked in she looked at me and slapped me so hard that I will never forget it!!! Psss since then I’ve always wondered what it must feel like to slap someone … GUESS I WILL NEVER KNOW!!!! Stay classy folks!!! This was all 15 years ago… I mean we’ve all grown up since then !!!”
Lynne has not yet commented on Britney’s post.
However, the mother-of-three recently attempted to make amends with her daughter, and pleaded for the 40-year-old’s forgiveness in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts.
