Could Snoop Dogg Really Lose “The Voice” Gig Over His Podcast Comments?

Homophobia was the case that they gave him…this time.

Snoop Dogg is in the hot seat – not over music, weed or murder either! The West Coast legend is reportedly about to be fired from NBC’s The Voice! The “bosses” are deciding whether he still belongs on their star-studded judge’s panel. You know why. He made some remarks about Disney’s Lightyear, as a grand parent taking his baby out. The show’s big Season 28 premiere is around the corner and he might be terminated.

The whole mess started on the It’s Giving podcast, where Snoop admitted he took his grandson to see the Pixar flick. Instead of praising the animation or the popcorn, admitted he was “scared to go to the movies” after seeing the film’s portrayal of a same-sex couple. “Oh s##t. I didn’t come here for this s##t!,” he said. The podcast has reportedly scrubbed the comments, but the damage was already done.

I think there has to be come context to it all, but I do not think that matters now. Snoop has been free to express himself more than most people. He has rapped about killing, smoking…and his family, love and fun. But he does this interview and all the things he has done, bad or good are meaningless. That is a powerful contingency. Because, earlier this year, Black folks were upset over the Trump stuff and nary a grape was burst.

Now production insiders are whispering that this might be the final straw for Snoop. The final straw. According to The Sun, they sat the OG down and said something like, “The Voice is supposed to be an inclusive, apolitical, [and] family-friendly. And it just makes contestants and even some crew members, not feel like the set is a safe space since they have all different kinds of people part of making this show come to life.” Translation: Snoop gotta go!

Somehow he did not get burned from the Trump stuff, but they thought about it. He was reportedly already skating on thin ice after openly supporting Donald Trump. I’d think that helped him at that time since America had just elected that goof.

With the new season just around the corner, NBC has to make a tough call! Keep Snoop and weather the storm or face potential boycotts. Unc has likely learned a valuable lesson about today…

We with you Snoop, but watch it.

EXCLUSIVE: Judge Sides With 50 Cent In Battle Over “Skill House” Movie Contract

50 Cent scored a legal win in Los Angeles after a federal judge rejected a motion to force him into arbitration over his involvement in the horror film Skillhouse.

The dispute centers on whether the Hip-Hop mogul ever signed an agreement to star in and promote the movie.

Film producer Ryan Kavanaugh and his associates claimed that a contract was executed in August 2022, which included an arbitration clause.

But 50 Cent insisted he never signed any such deal. The rap mogul went straight to court and filed a $5 million lawsuit against Kavanaugh, attempting to block the release.

“They can’t release this MOVIE SKILL HOUSE without my signature which they do not have. What kinda business are they doing?” 50 Cent said before the movie was released. “This guy Ryan Kavanaugh is doing everything in his power to make me kill this movie. This one is going in the trash can.”

The court reviewed conflicting statements and documents from both parties, but neither side could produce a signed version of the contract.

Text messages and emails submitted to the court revealed continued tension over the proposed agreement, particularly the arbitration clause.

Fif’s legal team maintained that no binding contract existed. They pointed to repeated objections raised by 50 Cent’s agents and attorneys regarding the terms, particularly the idea of resolving disputes privately rather than in court.

The judge concluded there wasn’t enough credible evidence to prove both sides had agreed to arbitration. As a result, the court denied the motion to compel arbitration, keeping the case in the public legal system.

The ruling means 50 Cent and his company, NYC Vibe, will continue to face the lawsuit in open court rather than behind closed doors.

Skillhouse ultimately had a limited theatrical release in July, despite 50 Cent’s attempt to halt the release.

Biggie Wanted To Play Fat Albert Before His Death According To Ex-Business Partner

The Notorious B.I.G. once had dreams of swapping the mic for a movie role, revealing interest in portraying Fat Albert before his life was cut short in 1997, according to his former business partner.

Lance “Un” Rivera, who worked closely with Biggie during his rise, shared that the Brooklyn rap icon warmed up to the idea of acting after his hit “One More Chance” took off.

“I remember coming to B.I.G. in the first part of his career and I said, ‘Yo, man, I think you should play Fat Albert in the movie.’ And he was like, ‘Man, yo, you bugging, Un.’ And then after ‘One More Chance’ came out, he said, ‘I’ll play Fat Albert now,” Rivera said during an interview with The Art Of Dialogue.

Rivera added, “So yeah, he understood, man.”

The rapper had already dipped his toes into acting before his death. He made a memorable guest appearance on the sitcom Martin in the episode “Blow, Baby, Blow,” which aired on September 23, 1995.

In the episode, Biggie played himself as a music producer scouting for backup singers, with Martin’s wife, Gina and her friend Pam hilariously trying to land the gig.

That appearance marked his first on a scripted television show. He also showed up as himself in other mid-90s projects like New York Undercover, The Show, and Rhyme & Reason.

Rivera recalled Biggie’s creative flair behind the scenes, especially while making the “Crush on You” video.

“With ‘Crush on You,’ the video idea that he had, he wanted to play all these characters… he wanted to play a security guard, he was funny like that. He did a little acting on Martin, that’s where he wanted to be.”

Biggie’s acting ambitions never had the chance to fully develop.

On March 9, 1997, he was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles at age 24. According to CNN, he was sitting at a red light when a black Chevrolet Impala pulled up beside his vehicle and opened fire.

His murder remains unsolved.

The live-action Fat Albert film eventually hit theaters on December 25, 2004, with Kenan Thompson in the lead role. By then, Biggie had been gone for nearly eight years.

Travis Scott, Tyla’s Life Threatened By Knife-Weilding Maniac In London

Travis Scott and Tyla were forced into lockdown during a music video shoot in north London after a man allegedly threatened a crew member with a knife.

The maniac who invaded the set forced an emergency police response and halted production.

The tense moment unfolded in Tottenham near the Broadwater Farm Estate, a neighborhood long associated with violent crime.

According to reports, the situation escalated when the suspect approached the set while Tyla was performing. A crew member asked the man to leave, but he allegedly responded by threatening to stab them.

Security immediately removed Tyla from the scene while Travis Scott was secured in a separate area. The production went into lockdown as police were called to the location.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police were flagged down by a man who said he had been threatened. Police searched the area and located a 29-year-old man matching the suspect’s description.

No weapon was recovered, but officers did find drugs and a significant amount of cash.

The suspect resisted being searched, prompting officers to handcuff him.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs. Authorities transported him to a north London police station, where he remains in custody as the investigation continues.

Though the threat temporarily paused filming, no one was physically harmed. The shoot resumed after law enforcement secured the area.

Coi Leray Flaunts Post-Baby Body—Fans Can’t Believe Their Eyes

Coi Leray lit up her timeline by flaunting her post-baby bounce-back and folks online are losing it over her snatched figure and audacious energy.

The rap star dropped a jaw-dropping pic on X.com, rocking a burgundy one-piece that barely covered anything. The fit was a sky-high cut and she posed with her hips cocked and cheeks out, making sure every tattoo, every curve, and her super-toned frame were front and center.

She finished the look with black stilettos, a red glove and a resistance band. Coi followed it up with a before-and-after shot that had the internet doing double takes.

The “before” showed her signature petite frame, but the “after” had a whole different vibe—thicker hips, a rounder booty and way more curves in a t########## bodysuit.

Coi gave birth to a baby girl named Miyoco in June 2025 with rapper Trippie Redd. The two had history—they dated back in 2019, split, then got back together in August 2024.

But things didn’t stay sweet for long.

By January 2025, it all fell apart again after rumors hit that Trippie cheated on her while she was pregnant. Coi confirmed the split and let people know exactly how it felt, writing, “Nothing worse than being cheated on. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.”

Trippie was allegedly spotted with other women after the breakup and didn’t bother showing up to Coi’s baby shower.

The two aren’t romantically involved anymore, but they’re co-parenting Miyoco while focusing on music.

Kim Kardashian Attacks Donald Trump’s Immigration Crackdown While Accepting Honor in Italy

Kim Kardashian took direct aim at Donald Trump and his administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement during an award ceremony in Venice, where she was honored for her work in criminal justice reform.

Speaking ahead of receiving the DVF Leadership Award at the Diane von Furstenberg Awards, Kardashian criticized the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids launched under Trump’s Operation Safeguard, a federal initiative aimed at detaining and deporting undocumented immigrants across major U.S. cities.

“In the news you hear, ‘Oh, it’s about people who have committed these crimes and they’re trying to help out our country,'” Kardashian told Variety. “But then you hear about all of the people who have worked so hard to build our country, and so many people that are such a part of our country getting affected. People I know. People my friends know.”

Operation Safeguard, which began earlier this year, was framed by officials as a crackdown on undocumented individuals with criminal records. But critics argue the raids have swept up people with deep ties to their communities, regardless of their legal status or criminal history.

“You want to believe that there’s a powerful message in protection, but then you see that it’s not really happening like that,” the 44-year-old added. “It’s really tough, but I think that we have to do what we can to protect the people that have really supported and built our country.”

The Kardashian star, who earned her law degree in May, has been vocal about prison reform since 2018, when she began advocating for the release of Chris Young.

Young had been sentenced to life without parole for non-violent drug offenses involving marijuana and cocaine. Trump commuted his sentence in January 2021.

At the DVF Awards, Young presented Kardashian with the honor, a full-circle moment that highlighted her ongoing commitment to justice reform.

“My journey in criminal justice reform is ongoing and I hope to inspire bigger conversations and create further awareness where everyone can work together on this crucial issue,” Kardashian said during her acceptance speech. “It’s time for a real systematic change to restore hope and give these people a fair chance at life and the opportunity for redemption after incarceration.”

Jim Jones Welcomes 6ix9ine Co-Defendant Mel Murda Back After 6-Year Prison Stint

Jim Jones welcomed longtime associate Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones back to the streets of New York after a six-year prison sentence tied to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods case that also ensnared 6ix9ine Archives, whose cooperation with federal prosecutors continues to haunt him.

Jamel Jones, also known in Hip-Hop circles as Mel Matrix, pleaded guilty to racketeering charges in 2019 as part of the high-profile RICO case that exposed the inner workings of the Nine Trey set. On Thursday (August 28), Jim Jones marked his return with a public show of support, posting a video of the reunion on Instagram and pairing it with a track that nods to their shared past.

“We way different then yal,” Jones wrote. “We don’t bend we don’t fold and if we fall we come back stronger. Welcome back Mel matrix u deserve everything th world has to offer. Let’s go get everything they owe u. We ain’t sayin free you no more tht gotta see you now spaghetti Mobbin.”

The post served as both a celebration and a subtle reminder of the divide between those who stayed silent and those who testified.

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, is still facing legal fallout from his cooperation in the same case. He recently admitted in federal court to possessing cocaine and MDMA, a violation of the terms of his earlier plea deal. His sentencing is scheduled for September and could result in additional jail time ranging from a few months to a couple of years.

While Jones’ public image has often been tied to street credibility, he’s also been caught in verbal sparring with other New York rappers. He and Fivio Foreign were criticized for comments perceived as dismissive of Nas’ legacy, sparking debate among Hip-Hop purists and newer voices alike.

Jamel Jones was originally sentenced in October 2019 after pleading guilty to racketeering conspiracy and narcotics trafficking.

Erykah Badu Postpones “Abi & Alan” Minutes Before Scheduled Release—Blames Alchemist

Erykah Badu pulled the plug on her new album, Abi & Alan, just hours before its scheduled release, telling fans on Instagram Live Thursday (August 28) that the project would not arrive as planned. “The Alchemist told me to tell y’all the album is not dropping at midnight,” she said.

Th veteran neo-soul singer had been gearing up to drop her first full-length project in 15 years, a collaboration with acclaimed producer The Alchemist, on Friday (August 29). The album was expected to follow the momentum of “Next To You,” a new track she debuted during her free Juneteenth concert at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, which streamed live on Prime Video. It also marks her first release since her split with longtime label home, Motown Records.

The delay came as a surprise to many, especially after Badu and The Alchemist wrapped a 10-city tour promoting the unreleased album.

The final stop took place August 24 at the ACL Moody Theater in downtown Austin, where the duo performed a set of entirely new material. The only familiar moments came when Badu briefly sang the first verse of her hit “On & On” and weaved in lines from “I Want You” and “Love Of My Life (An Ode To Hip Hop).”

Despite the setback, the tour gave audiences an early listen to the unreleased tracks, building anticipation for what would have been Badu’s first major release since 2010’s New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) and her 2015 mixtape, But You Caint Use My Phone.

As of Friday (August 29), no new release date has been announced.

French Montana Proposed To Dubai Princess With $1M Diamond Engagement Ring

French Montana sealed his engagement to with a $1.05 million diamond ring and a proposal in Paris during Fashion Week, confirming a royal romance months in the making. NYC’s Eric the Jeweler of Mavani & Co. carved out French’s engagement ring after the rapper contacted him a few months ago. The ring holds an emerald-cut shape, weighing 11.53 carats. The total hand ornament price comes in at $1,050,000, per TMZ.

French asked for Sheikha Mahra’s hand in June shortly after walking the runway for 3.Paradis’ Spring/Summer 2026 show. The couple later unveiled the massive diamond ring on Instagram on August 29, captioning the post with a white heart and sparkle emoji. The ring features a large emerald-cut diamond surrounded by smaller stones embedded into the band.

French, 41, and Sheikha Mahra, 31, were first linked in October 2024 when she posted photos of the rapper touring Dubai. Their relationship became public during Paris Fashion Week when they were seen walking hand-in-hand.

The Dubai royal, daughter of ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, finalized her divorce from Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum in July. She shares a 15-month-old daughter with her ex-husband.

Sheikha Mahra announced the split on social media, writing, “Dear Husband. As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.” She ended the message with, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”

The BBC reported that her phrasing referenced the Islamic practice of triple talaq, which allows a man to divorce his wife by repeating the phrase three times. Though banned in several countries, the method still carries cultural significance. While traditionally only men can invoke it, Sheikha Mahra’s post suggested she had taken matters into her own hands.

By August, she posted a photo with her daughter, captioned, “Just the two of us.”

French has previously been romantically tied to Khloe Kardashian, Iggy Azalea and Rubi Rose.

T.I. & Tiny’s Son King Harris Plans To Be “Bigger Than Michael Jackson”

King Harris set social media abuzz earlier this week during an appearance on Reginae Carter’s Heir Time podcast, where he revealed he’s aiming to eclipse the legacy of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The 21-year-old rapper and son of T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris didn’t hold back when asked about his long-term goals.

“So, my goal is to be bigger than Michael Jackson,” Harris said, prompting Carter to laugh in disbelief. “That’s my boy since I was a toddler,” he added, before pivoting to his own son, King Jr., whom he described as a “Bob Marley type.”

Harris acknowledged the ambition is lofty. “So that goal is just to keep me pushing,” he said. “But my ‘heir time’ is just going to be being a father, an entrepreneur, taking risks just spending time with my family, man, and just making memories and doing the things I enjoy for as long as I can do them.”

Earlier in the episode, Harris named Jackson in his top three “dead or alive” artists, alongside the late XXXTENTACION and Young Thug.

“I need Michael Jackson ‘cause it’s like, bro, you’ll learn so much from that future,” he told Carter. “Take the future out. Just give me the studio session. Just let me come to the studio with Michael for a week or a month straight just to see what he do, just to pick up on game and learn and stuff like that.”

Harris’s aspirations come with a heavy legacy. His father is one of Southern rap’s most influential figures. With a career spanning over two decades, T.I. has released multiple platinum albums, earned three Grammy Awards and 19 nominations and helped pioneer the trap music movement. His business ventures, including a restaurant with Killer Mike, and acting roles have further solidified his status as a cultural mainstay.

Sean Kingston Immediately Launches Attempt To Get Out Of 3.5 Year-Prison Sentence For Scamming

Sean Kingston wasted no time challenging his 3.5-year prison sentence for fraud, filing an appeal just 13 days after a federal judge handed down the punishment in South Florida.

The 35-year-old singer, born Kisean Paul Anderson, submitted a notice of appeal on Thursday (August 28) to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

The filing, submitted by his attorney Zeljka Bozanic, contests the final judgment and sentencing issued on August 15, as well as all pretrial and trial rulings made in the case.

Kingston was convicted earlier this year of wire fraud, securities fraud, and aggravated identity theft.

Federal prosecutors accused him of orchestrating a scheme to acquire luxury goods, including high-end vehicles and jewelry, by misrepresenting his financial status and using forged documents to back up false claims.

The Court determined he defrauded multiple vendors out of millions of dollars.

In addition to prison time, Kingston was ordered to pay restitution to his victims. While the exact amount remains sealed in some court records, it is expected to be in the millions.

The appeal notice did not include specific arguments or legal grounds, which is typical at this stage of the process. A full brief outlining Kingston’s claims will be filed in the coming months as the appellate process unfolds.

Sean Kingston first rose to stardom in 2007 with his breakout hit “Beautiful Girls,” but his career has since been overshadowed by mounting legal troubles.

In recent years, he faced several civil suits related to unpaid debts and luxury purchases, which ultimately led to the federal charges.

The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Atlanta, will now review the case and determine whether the conviction or sentence should be overturned or modified.

YSL Member Falls In Love With RICO Lawyer—Expecting Baby As YSL Implodes

Shannon Stillwell might’ve dodged some heavy charges, but caught something else in the courtroom — feelings.

While Young Thug, Peewee Roscoe and YSL Woody keep throwing shade over who’s snitching, Stillwell’s playing house with his former lawyer, Kayla Bumpus — and they’ve got a baby boy on the way.

SB met his future baby mama in the middle of the longest trial in Georgia’s history. Now they’re due in October and writing love notes.

“While our roles were very different, we are thankful that our worlds collided,” the couple wrote.

Stillwell was knee-deep in the YSL RICO case, slapped with everything from murder to armed robbery. He was even tied to the 2015 hit on Donovan “Nut” Thomas Jr.

While the courtroom was packed with drama, Bumpus was in the cut working his defense. She’s a criminal defense lawyer who also handles personal injury cases.

Stillwell was eventually acquitted of murder but convicted of firearm possession, receiving 10 years with two served and the rest on probation.

He rejected a 40-year plea but later accepted a deal on drug, theft, firearm, and gang charges, adding 12 years of probation concurrent with his sentence.

His probation barred him from metro Atlanta, except with approval, required him to be employed, and prohibited contact with co-defendants.

What a turnaround for SB. He’s gone from slanging guns to handling prenatal vitamins and will soon be toting baby wipes and bottles.

DJ Enuff Bids Farewell To Hot 97 After 27 Years As Funkmaster Flex Shifts Spots

DJ Enuff closed the book on a storied chapter at Hot 97 Friday (August 29), confirming his last day at the legendary New York radio station after nearly three decades on the air.

“Thank You for 27 unforgettable years. Today is my last day on Hot97, but the music, memories, culture will keep living on,” Enuff wrote on Instagram. “From early mornings to mid-days to afternoons & late-nights every moment behind them turntables has been a blessing. To all the listeners, the callers, the artist, the fans, you made it all matter. This chapter may be closing, but the journey continues. Make sure you tap in with me for my next adventure. With all my heart, thank you for riding with me.”

The veteran DJ joined Hot 97 in 1998, becoming one of the station’s most recognizable voices and personalities. Widely respected in the music industry, Enuff built his reputation not just on his mixes but also on his reputation as a genuine figure behind the scenes.

His announcement comes just a day after Funkmaster Flex stunned social media with a cryptic statement declaring that his “last show on Hot 97 at 7 PM” would air Labor Day evening. While many rushed to label it a retirement, others pointed out Flex never said he was leaving the station entirely, suggesting it may simply be a timeslot shakeup rather than a full departure. He’ll reportedly move to a late afternoon, rush hour spot.

The recent developments have fueled speculation about broader changes inside Hot 97, which has seen a number of shifts in recent months. TT Torrez, another key figure at the station, exited over the summer after reportedly resigning. She is no longer listed on the company website as talent.

Megan Thee Stallion Says Tory Lanez’s Lawyer Smoked, Threatened To Pee In Deposition Room

Megan Thee Stallion called out a close associate of Tory Lanez for alleged misconduct during a deposition tied to her defamation lawsuit, claiming the man smoked what appeared to be marijuana and threatened to urinate in the room.

The rapper’s legal team filed a motion asking the Court to sanction Ceasar McDowell, CEO of Unite the People, for what they described as obstructive and inappropriate behavior during his sworn testimony.

McDowell is a longtime ally of Lanez, who was convicted of shooting Megan in 2020, and serves on the advisory board of the nonprofit that supported Lanez’s legal appeals.

The deposition is part of Megan’s ongoing lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz, whom she claims made false and damaging statements about her.

McDowell initially represented Gramz pro bono through Unite the People, but later accepted nearly $9,000 in payments before the group withdrew from the case.

Gramz has since hired new counsel, reportedly funded by a public crowdfunding campaign.

According to the motion, McDowell repeatedly dodged questions during the deposition, responding “I don’t remember” more than 350 times, “I don’t know” about 170 times and “I don’t recall” roughly 43 times.

Megan’s attorneys argued that his evasiveness made it impossible to gather meaningful testimony.

Beyond his lack of cooperation, McDowell allegedly rolled and smoked a cigarette that appeared to contain marijuana while on camera during breaks.

He also demanded painkillers and, at one point, threatened to relieve himself in the deposition room rather than take a bathroom break.

“He has every reason to be combative and uncooperative to protect not only Daystar Peterson but himself. That’s exactly what he did. And that’s exactly why court supervision of his deposition is necessary,” Megan’s attorney Daniel L. Humphrey said.

Humphrey added, “Mr. McDowell’s obstruction is part of a coordinated effort by key third parties to prevent the Court and jury from learning the truth about their defamation campaign against Ms. Pete. Just weeks before Mr. McDowell’s deposition, this Court held Daystar Peterson [Tory Lanez] in contempt for deploying identical tactics—feigning ignorance, making inappropriate comments about counsel’s appearance, and refusing to cooperate.

Megan’s legal team is requesting a second deposition under court supervision and formal sanctions against McDowell. The Court has not yet ruled on the motion.

Detroit Rapper 42 Dugg Backs Drake Amid Growing Criticism

42 Dugg backed Drake on social media this week as criticism mounted against the Toronto rapper, stepping in to call out what he sees as disloyalty in Hip-Hop and a culture that turns on its own.

“Man GET THE MONEY. Eventually they gone tear you down,” 42 Dugg wrote in a post that quickly caught attention. “Could be something you did or didn’t do eventually they get tired of your ass no matter who you is. THATS Why MY ADVICE IS ALWAYS GET ENOUGH MONEY TILL YOU CAN LEAVE THIS S### ALONE FOR GOOD.”

The Detroit rapper didn’t stop there. He pointed to Drake’s long track record of helping others rise in the industry, saying, “Drake put on 400 rappers an counting if they can say f### him ah street n#### got zero chances.”

“I knew our ass was out when these muthafuckas turned on Drake,” he added, suggesting that if someone with Drake’s influence and history of collaboration can be cast aside, then no one is safe.

The comments arrived as Young Thug faces ongoing legal drama and internal friction within the YSL camp.

Some observers interpreted Dugg’s defense of Drake as a broader message about loyalty, possibly even a veiled response to the snitching allegations swirling around Thug’s circle.

Online reactions were mixed. Critics pointed out Drake’s recent legal moves, with one user writing, “Drake is literally suing folks as we speak, we ain’t tryna hear all that.”

Others dismissed the idea that Drake “put on” artists, arguing instead that he jumped on hot regional tracks to stay relevant.

“He didn’t put nobody on he pulled a page out of Jay z book jump on the south hot songs,” one user wrote. “Jay z didn’t belong on ha. They use this method to stay relevant and get featured on the biggest song out.”

Some also saw Dugg’s post as a subtle defense of Young Thug amid the YSL turmoil. “Street n##### play so much politics is crazy he said all ts to defend thug snitching but when it was gunna mfs turned their backs on him,” someone wrote. “Street n##### weird as s###.”

600 Breezy Arrested In Wisconsin, Faces Extradition To Pennsylvania Amid RICO Rumors

600 Breezy was taken into custody in Wisconsin during a traffic stop on Tuesday (August 27) after authorities discovered an active extradition warrant tied to Pennsylvania, landing the Chicago rapper behind bars without bail.

Court documents confirm he was booked early that morning and is currently awaiting transfer to Pennsylvania.

The specifics of the warrant remain sealed, but online chatter quickly lit up with speculation that the case could involve a state-level RICO investigation. So far, no official confirmation has been made about the nature of the charges.

A video clip from his court appearance surfaced on Thursday (August 28), showing the rapper waiving his right to an extradition hearing and agreeing to be handed over to Pennsylvania authorities.

“I kinda know what it’s about,” he told the judge. “It’s something that’s really small.”

The judge and his attorney quickly advised him not to speak further on the matter, warning that anything he said could be used against him later.

At one point during the hearing, 600 Breezy glanced at a court document and asked the judge what “corrupt organization” meant.

The judge responded that he couldn’t explain the charge and offered a continuance to give the rapper more time to understand the allegations. But 600 Breezy declined, saying, “I been in this situation before.”

The court appearance didn’t go unnoticed online. Lil Zay Osama reposted the clip to his Instagram Story, mocking 600Breezy and writing, “Breezo the streets ain’t for u,” along with a jab that he was about to “tell it all” to the judge.

The two rappers have a long-standing feud rooted in personal drama and tensions within Chicago’s Hip-Hop scene.

600 Breezy remains in custody as of Thursday (August 28), awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

Karrueche Tran Confirms Her Love Life Is Thriving After Deion Sanders Rumors

Karrueche Tran confirmed she’s dating and feeling fulfilled during a recent podcast appearance, following speculation linking her to Deion Sanders after she was seen supporting him through a health crisis.

Tran addressed the rumors while chatting on “What’s Next w/ J. Ryan” alongside longtime friend Christina Milian.

When asked if she was seeing someone, the actress laughed and admitted she had been watching more football lately, prompting Milian to joke, “Touchdown.”

“I’m at a point in my life, like, I know what I want,” Tran said. I’ve dated a lot, I’ve done a lot. I’ve did this, did that. Young, old, and so, if I wasn’t happy and content, and feeling good in my situation, I’m not wasting my time. I don’t have the time for it. I’d rather be at home, namaste, chile, in bed at 9 o’clock doing my own thing if I’m not happy.”

Though she didn’t name names, Tran made it clear she’s only investing in relationships that bring her peace.

“If the love wasn’t good, I wouldn’t even waste my time,” she said.

She also revealed, “If I wasn’t having fun, I wouldn’t be in it… I’m in a good place.”

Dating rumors between Tran and Sanders began swirling in July 2025 when she was spotted at his hospital bedside during his bladder cancer surgery.

Her appearance in the documentary “For Your Glory,” which followed Sanders’ recovery, further fueled speculation.

Sanders has yet to confirm or deny the relationship rumors. When asked directly about Tran during an August 2025 interview, he laughed and replied, “We got a bad connection.”

Fans Back Gunna As YSL Controversy Continues

But while Gunna laced up his sneakers, the YSL camp was unraveling. Online chatter exploded after allegations surfaced that Young Thug had cooperated with authorities in a case involving Peewee Roscoe—despite previously branding Gunna a snitch.

The internet didn’t hold back.

“Getting in shape & being healthy > Minding your business > Doing charity work > Putting out better music than anyone talking s### about you >” one user posted.

Another added, “While them other n##### hating and on here having a rat off.”

A third chimed in, “This brother is winning on all fronts while the ‘rat’ watchers are scrambling on the other end.”

Even Gunna’s former attorney Steve Sadow weighed in, calling for an end to the back-and-forth.

“THOUGHT: Gunna is a fantastic entertainer. So is Young Thug. Let’s stop this ‘snitching’ BS and let these two world-class, phenomenal rappers move on. Their real fans should want nothing less.”

Young Thug Drops Legal Docs As Snitching Claims Fuel YSL Tensions & Online Blowback

Young Thug fired back after old interrogation audio reignited accusations of snitching and stirred up drama within YSL, posting a PSA alongside court documents to shut down the narrative.

“Stop trying to make me one of those boys,” he tweeted Thursday (August 29), following a wave of backlash over a resurfaced 2015 police interview. “Death before dishonor this way kids.”

Thug also posted a motion filed by his legal team during his RICO trial. The document asks the court to block any claims that he sat in a police car and gave information about a murder, calling those allegations “inaccurate,” “irrelevant,” and potentially damaging to the jury’s perception of his character.

According to the filing, the “supposed” interaction with law enforcement happened when Thug was “supposedly” a “very young man.” The defense maintains he never made any incriminating statements.

“This motion got filed cause the detective lied and said I made a statement in back of a police car stupid,” Thug wrote. “That never ever happened.”

He also reposted a tweet defending him, which read, “nothing Thug said can be misconstrued as snitching,” and blamed Gunna supporters for fueling the controversy, saying they’re “so gullible it hurts.”

Young Thug Audio Triggers YSL Friction

The uproar began Wednesday (August 28) after a 2015 police interrogation video resurfaced online.

In the clip, Thug is seen answering questions without a lawyer for nearly two hours, discussing topics that included Peewee Roscoe.

At one point, he says, “They said Roscoe, but I don’t wanna block out y’all case by saying Roscoe ain’t do that.” He later adds, “Every day [Roscoe] broke the f###### law.”

Some interpreted the remarks as indirect cooperation, though Roscoe himself came to Thug’s defense, denying that any snitching had taken place.

Still, the clip triggered friction within YSL. Co-founder YSL Mondo accused Thug of hypocrisy for previously labeling Gunna a “rat,” only to now face similar scrutiny. Mondo also claimed Roscoe was “brainwashed” for standing by Thug.

Thug initially addressed the interrogation leak on Wednesday.

“They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada,” he wrote. “#Ratwhere?”

Funkmaster Flex Said “Last Show” & Internet Goofs Assumed That Meant Retirement

Funkmaster Flex and retirement rumors are blowing up the internet. But, the internet has poor reading comprehension skills. The man never said he was hanging it all up. What Flex did say was: “This Monday Labor Day, September 1 with [sic] be my last show on Hot 97 at 7 PM! End of an era that I enjoyed very much! Super enjoyed it all! I will make the last show a great one! Appreciate everyone who has supported me over the years!” That’s it. Did you hear retirement?

So why are people acting like the king of bomb drops just announced his own funeral? “He was a good ol wily DJ!” Folks are spinning this into a full-blown retirement story, like Flex is about to flee to a Florida golf course. But those that really know Flex—and radio—understand better.

Flex is a seasoned veteran and radio legend. Older guys in radio often get pushed onto the pasture, but this isn’t “the end.” The whispers in the industry say Flex is shifting to a daytime shift, not waving goodbye. Would Hot 97 really let their most iconic DJ just walk out? Not likely. Love him or hate him, Flex is a living fixture in Hip-Hop culture. His voice, his drops and his bombs are part of the DNA of the station.

What’s really clownish is how quickly people jumped to conclusions. It’s like folks wanted to write his obituary more than face facts. Flex has way too much going on—brand, legacy, influence—to simply resign his post. Come on. The more sensible read is that he’s moving time slots. That’s a big difference from retirement.

Don’t bury Funk Flex just yet. The man has been feeding Hip-Hop through the airwaves for decades. I know there are a lot of people who don’t like him, but that’s neither here nor there. Stay tuned, because I bet the next announcement is going to prove chatter is premature at best. And pure nonsense at worst.
